App is lacking… needs more info!. When we purchased the toast system we were told that we would be able to view all open and closed orders/tabs (with the order details included) on the app. Very disappointing that it does not have that capability! This is a huge deal for our business. Our previous system had this on the app. We were also able to see a list of comp/voided tabs. To truly be able to monitor a business all of these things are a necessity….

New updates make login impossible. The login experience after the most recent update is dismal.

Not optimized for iPhone. 1. Top and Bottom text and buttons Lines are shows in a half At Open Check category. Last check at bottom, which is first at the morning, shows at half. 2. Always few open checks presents, with no reason, and I cannot delete at clean them. 3. Many unnecessary and useless information at admin dash. Make it adjustable for users, I know what I want at app, not a developer somewhere.

Good but missing key element for multi-unit restaurants. This is a good app to have for Toast, however for restaurants who have multiple locations, being able to see a group sales overview is crucial. When will Toast add “Group Sales Overview” in the app like they have on web?

This system used to be way better. Toast has gotten to big for there britches, customer service has gone way down hill. And all there new updates are dumb

Needs more. This app should show all the information I can pull up on the actual website, it’s not helpful as I can only truly view sales of the day. It would be nice to be able to pull up labor summaries and full payment summaries.

load. takes forever to load

Need more information than just overall sales. This app is lacking a lot compared to Square’s app. You are not able to see cash vs credit card sales, amount of credit card tips, make any adjustments to your menu or credit card fees associated with the sales. It is so basic which is very surprising given the in depth capabilities of the register and back end itself. The app needs updating to give restaurant owners more real time information. So much of life is on the go and more information should be obtainable from your cell phone on this app.

Good start. As a manager of multiple locations viewing the entire week also would be a great addition. Labor and sales! Having this app is only good for viewing todays business. I could ditch the web for the reports I need with this simple Improvement.

Need more data. It works well but needs to give more data. Would like to be able to combine multiple days together to see a weeks worth of sales data.

Not working. Not even loading after the last update.

Worst service. At the restaurant i work everyone is complaining about this service. The owner said is them and they said is the owner so all the restaurant is unhappy with our payroll for the last 3 weeks. Sorry!

India. Toast is a company that you can only get a person from India to answer. They will say “no problem buddy” and tell you they fixed your paperwork. Then you will fight them about old and new paperwork for 3 years. Then you’ll try to cancel the service and they say “no problems buddy” then continue to charge you for 3 months, you’ll call they’ll say “no problem buddy” and your problems will continue with Toast, over and over again, buddy. Also this service is way overpriced there are better way cheaper options. Avoid this company!

Toast won’t update.. I’ve been prompted to update this app at least 10 times. Every time I get the same result. Click the option to update/ redirected to the App Store/ no option to update/ only option is to open the app, yet, once the app opens, it prompts me to update/ and won’t allow me to open the app.

New update is bad. The new update screwed the app on the croutons. Lots of freezing and crashing.

Login doesn’t work on app. I had to reset my password 3x or more just not to be able to use the app

Great addition!. We can now see realtime results from all our restaurants in one easy spot.

Only Daily sales?. Am I missing something, or is there only single day sales reporting? How about Week to date? Month to date? Etc etc.

Great start - missing features. Exited for an app! So helpful to have easier access to daily sales but would love to see additional features including: - orders/item sales per hour and as a real time report - gross sales next to net sales - week over week comparison

Login Issue every time. Every time i have to go to browser to log in , then why you guys has the app if we cant login their , and its automatically logged out every time when i clear the app from background

Love TOAST. This app is awesome! With real time data on sales and who’s working, as well as the ability to compare sales to the same day last week, last year, and even two years ago. You can adjust employee clock in times from the app and you can even 86 items. The app runs smoothly and a always works

Much needed and appreciated. Thank you for adding the app, it is great for single or multi-unit operator's. I am sure as the app matures there will be additional features added, but some that would be beneficial: 1. Ability to add/remove tiles 2. Number of open checks/tabs 3. Ability to view individual checks/tabs and see items rang in for audit purposes 4. A tile for comps/discounts (with the ability to view individual checks) 5. A tile for voids (with the ability to view individual checks) 6. Average ticket time

Good but missing features. The app is good. It is missing some features which would improve the app. Needs overtime labor. Needs active/open tables. Needs gross sales.

No end user customer support. Unknowingly used the toast system to order food today at 3:00 pm this afternoon. 12:30 am this morning. I received a WAKE up text from toast. A very unwelcome wake up text that ruined my whole day by interrupting my sleep with a needless message about "welcome to toast" I will never use this PLATFORM AGAIN. I will never give my phone number to toast retail again for an order. There's no way for me as an end-user, on the receiving end, to contact toast to file a complaint. No way to prevent them from texting me in the middle of the night unless I hit stop AFTER they spam me in the middle of the night. thanks toast, you might serve your retail customer's well, but your end users are just moneybags. I see no way to contact your company at all as an end user.. you've been marked aS spam and blocked.

See who is clocked in??. I wish we could see who was clocked in at work from the app. It used to be a feature and now that’s gone. Other than that it’s a good app.

Irritated. Stupid app can’t even change the number and customer service is a joke they don’t even answer

Toast is a mess. The app is not even worth the trouble. Missing data. Bad UI. Confusing statistics and reports. What a waste of time, but nothing from toast surprises me anymore. The lack of customer support is astounding for a company that works within the hospitality realm. AWFUL

Recent Update. ** UPDATE ** Toast reached out and also made the proper adjustments to get the app working again. I appreciate the speed in addressing the issue and also in communicating what was going on. This update won’t even let the app open. All it does is stay loading. I’ve already deleted the app and reinstalled it multiple times! Very frustrating!! Fix this already!!!

Terrible. Not real info on the app. Square is one million times better.

Limited, generic functions/no iPad app. The AI update has actually been more helpful than not (it helped me configure a new pricing structure that’s more competitive, and it’s nice to be able to get bulk sales/numbers without having to go through and pull them manually myself). But, as far as the app overall, functionality is very, very limited. And I’d like to see an iPad app… like 2 years ago…

Can’t get any support for mobile app. Every time i login it just glitches and takes me back to the login page. i have tried everything i could find on their website but you can’t get support on the app unless you’re logged in on the app. Its an inefficient design that makes it very difficult to get help unless you are the owner of the organization attached to your account. The owner of the organization is very busy, and doesn’t have the time to deal with small IT issues. Please fix this soon.

Annoying AI Features. New Toast update puts AI prompts in the middle of the data, with no way to disable it. Makes the app less-user friendly. Pretty disappointed.

Awesome app but still missing features. The app is awesome and exactly what toast was missing but it would be great to have more feature like in the back end. For example information on a ticket level. Other than that is perfect. I am sure they will keep upgrading the app

Useless. The sales report is useless on the app. You can’t even see the exact time a sale happened, which forces you to go on a desktop to see the details.

Only able to use half the screen. Since the last update the app only allows you to use half the screen. Making 86ing items a hassle. Would love to attach photo.

Additional detail info. Hoping there will be a daily sales breakdown of cash and credit cards info.

Not good. As innovative, as Toast is, the Toast Now app needs so much work. My report page never updates on the correct date. It stays stuck on the day before for some reason. Also, there should be a way for you to see basic reports.

This app is pointless. Considering how expensive toast is, I expected the app to function at least as well as an app like Square. But it does not at all. You cannot update inventory, which seems like it would be a pretty basic function. sales data lags terribly.

This app keeps on getting better!. My only complaint about this app is I’d love to get a proper iPad app one as well.

broken update. Can’t log in to the app now because toastnow.com doesn’t resolve on their pop out browser. Otherwise the app is ok, lacks Square dashboard day to day analytics but you can ask the toast ai to cobble numbers for you but who knows how accurate it is

Has potential. I would like to see the labor summary+time entries (I get you show this but in a more concise form like desktop) by job code included as well as a separation of shifts.

NOT LOADING INTO THE APP. Exactly as the title says. iPhone 17 pro, updated phone & app.

The App is terrible. I have had a toast account for a long time g time because some of my favorite restaurants use it but I can’t ever log in! I have a username and password it saved in my password on Chrome but it never works and I can’t ever get it to reset! It’s getting annoying and is useless. I just left one of my favorite restaurants use and they are changing to roast. It might be great for restaurants but as a customer it’s terrible!

Horrible App. I’ve tried several times to reset my password and I never receive the code. My email address is registered. What’s the point of having an app that doesn’t allow you to reset your password with the email on file.
