Fix the bugs. This game is great for the most part. I love the angle of the notes, just like how beatstar used to be. There is one major bug in this game though. For many songs the left note is bugged. This bug makes it impossible to finish the level without paying the extra gems to get another life, and even when you pay the extra gem, the next left note is bugged, so you pay another extra gems until you run out of gems. This is a serious problem because I almost dread getting a new song wondering whether this song will be bugged like the other songs. I know it’s not just my game with this problem because I know people who experience the same problem. Please fix!!!

I would most definitely recommend this game and also beat star. If you like piano or beat star and country music then this most definitely is a game for you this game even includes older country stars like the man in black himself it also has 90s country music and 2000s music and it even has Morgan wallen and his newest songs, the only way this game can be better in my opinion is if they added Ryan upchurch

Better than Beatstar in my opinion. I love this game sm more I personally love country over pop and all that but don’t get my wrong Beatstar is good and I still play it sometimes but this has to be my new favorite the perfect bar is bigger and easier to see plus it feels less rushed and less stressful on having to be perfect everytime so again thank you guys very much for this perfect game and the rest of u enjoy!!

You failed to swipe 🤓. This game was fun for the first 30 minutes. Played a lot of songs I knew and had fun with it. But once you start getting the hang of it, the swipes…. not only is it bad enough that if you miss one note the songs ends and you have to spend diamonds to keep playing, but the swipes…… these swipes are the single most evil thing i’ve ever seen. The songs have swipes that make your thumbs tangle and make it impossible to hit the next note. and if you get all 3 chests. sorry buddy can’t play our game for 2 hours. one of the worst examples of a beat tile game i’ve ever seen.

I wish I liked this game. Never played a mobile version of this style of game. Used to play guitar hero on the xbox and never played beatstar so wasn’t sure what to expect. So first few days you get enough gems to make the game tolerable but once you run out you can’t play this game casually. I am not going to sweat through ads to learn the hard or extreme difficulty songs because every time you miss a single press or swipe you have to spend gems to keep going. I got to 30ish songs in my library and it seems like song acquisition is going to come in at a snails pace. Also after 5 songs you have you guessed is spend more gems or watch ads to keep playing. By far one of the most anti casual mobile games I have ever played. Also really wish there was some aspect of playing on airplane mode even of no progression was giving I could play a few select songs. The only thing good about this game is the song selection is top tier as you have something for just about any type of country fan. But today I uninstalled this game.

Beat game ever but has problems. So the game is very good but if you fill up all your case slots you can’t play the game witch is dumb so please fix this I have to wait 1:30 min to play. Other than that there are no problems that have hit me yet. It is just like magic tiles 3 but a bit harder. Thank you devs but please let us play without needing to wait for our cases to finish. You can use gems to open cases or to play for 30 min, but if you are like me you mess up in the final stage and use all of your gems so you can’t use them to unlock cases. Thanks devs for all of your effort

Glitchy Con-Artists. I’ve spent a lot of time and money playing this game. I have gotten to level 15(?) and there aren’t any more new songs! I have to spend money on a “season pass” to get just a new variety. Also, my game keeps glitching saying I didn’t hit the notes when I for sure hit them; maybe too early or a tad late, but definitely hit them. Very frustrating and I’m about to delete from the app. So mad I got this far in the game and there aren’t anymore new songs being added for the foreseeable levels. You can’t get very far without BUYING gems. You miss a note? You have to spend 3 all the way up to 8 gems! Also, some “normal” songs could be considered “harder” than the others and some “hard” songs could be considered “extreme” there isn’t any consistency.

Beatstar Who?. Listen, y’all. Beatstar has always been one of my favorite games but it make me SO frustrated. I listen to most genres of music so the country genre did not turn me away and I was excited to finally hear something new. Everything about this game blows Beatstar out of the water. I just tried to go back to play Beatstar to see the difference… let’s say I probably won’t play it now. It feels so slow and just off. I always check to make sure my audio is sync’d when using headphones but the lag continues regardless. Lets get an update for Beatstar to look and feel like Country Star!

More Songs/Artists, Play More at Once, and Less Ads. This is a great game! I a hard-core country fan and had hard times with other games because I don’t know the songs. Although, they are missing some great artists and songs; Kylie Morgan, Tyler Hubbard, More Kelsea Ballerini, More Hailey Whitters, Walker Hayes, etc. There are also SO MANY ADS! After every song, I get an ad! I don’t mind having to watch ads for stuff if it wasn’t for the pop-up ads. Also, I think we should be able to play more songs at once. It’s really annoying that I can only play 3-4 songs before I have to stop! I hope you would take my feedback for the better to improve on your game. I really think this game could become very popular if you take these thing into consideration. Thanks, A Player

Countrystar > Beatstar And Here's Why.. I love both of these games, but there's a reason why Countrystar gets 5/5 rating and Beatstar get a 4/5. 1 have no complainants, other than one beautiful detail that Countrystar has to offer that unfortunately, Beatstar fumbles on and could easily be recovered. Countrystar has a a slight different Fret/ Tile Safe Zone than Beatstar. It's more beneficial, because it allows the user to concentrate on one safe zone (Perfect +), whereas Beatstar has a small black safe zone inside of an faint outlined safe zone. I find it very useful, for I now Diamond almost every song, first try as I unlock them in Countrystar. It's more enjoyable because songs I know like that back of my hand on Beatstar, are twice as hard for me to get a Diamond on Beatstar. To this day I still haven't achieved a Diamond on any song in Beatstar. Matter of fact, I can play a few Beatstar songs, start to finish with my eyes closed. I believe this, what may look like a minor detail, be a game changer for the game. I also believe, that detail would potentially make Beatstar a 10/5 rating from me, surpassing Countrystar by a long ways. I love the variety of songs to choose from in Beatstar and would love to be able to enjoy it more, for im trying to Diamond every song in Countrystar right now. Make this change then Take My Money!!!!

From The Heart. As someone who grew up country and has been listening to country music my whole life, this game is an absolute banger!! I’ve been in a really dark place in my life these last few days and just so happened to come across this game on social media. And for the first time in awhile, my frown turned into a smile, within the first 5 minutes of gameplay. Such a fun app with a great user interface! Thank you to the developers who made this game possible! For those of you, still considering downloading the game, I’d say give it a go!! It just might change your life, as it did mine:)

good, but disappointingly better than beat star. this game is very well made and fun to play. the only problem is that it’s actually more well made than Beat Star, the “original” game. i don’t even like country music but i have more fun playing this game than Beat Star which is ridiculous. maybe i shouldn’t be comparing the two, but seriously, they’re pretty much the exact same game but one is just country songs and is more playable.

Very nice game!. I don’t know why people are complaining tbh. Yes it’s a little faster paced and a tad bit harder, but that’s what makes it good in my opinion. This is Beatstar, but a lot better and it has a ton of country songs that I love. The customization for you profile is also nice. I love that you can change your banner and unlock new ones from different artists. I also love how you can get free songs for following people on social media or linking you Apple Music account. Also listening to new songs on Apple Music to unlock the song in game. This gives people a chance to discover new songs that artists make. I absolutely love this game and recommend it!

Great Game, but i do have some issues. I love this game so much! from the music options, to having no ads. it’s almost the perfect game! the one issue i have, is that after a bit of playing. you have to wait 3 hours to “open a case”, and the only way to skip the wait time is buy having gems… and the only way to have gems is either by spending money on the game, or leveling up (but, you can’t level up without playing… and you can’t play if you you have to unlock cases) . i understand that a game, especially one that’s high in demand, needs to be able to make money! I just wish that their was more of an unlimited play to the game. you can play about 3 songs before having to wait another 3 hours… and it’s kinda annoying.

Bug is getting worse. I have been playing this a lot for the past while, and even left another review going into detail on a bug that was pretty annoying but not too bad. But now the more I play, the bug is making it nearly unplayable. When needing to press two notes at once it will never register the note on the left. No matter how much I exaggerate the press it doesn’t work. And since almost all songs have one of these, I fail almost every song. And it’s gotten to the point where I find myself not even opening the app anymore. TLDR: Good game, but has a bug that makes it unplayable.

Great Challenge and Mood Lifter!. Fun music game that challenges your focus and reaction. Nice for those quiet moments of alone time when you need a little boost in your emotional well-being. Plenty of events and milestones to reach outside of just replaying songs. The song cases are always exciting as well and the wishlist cases give you a chance to narrow down your favorite songs that you haven’t unlocked yet. You may even learn and memorize a new song or two. Give this polished game a shot!

Deluxe Songs. I think this game is miles better than BeatStar (note highway, a genre I more prefer, etc). But! There has to be a better way to get Deluxe versions of songs. I’m at the point now where I need 90! Cards to unlock the next one. A bunch of songs have Deluxe versions but most people will never get to play them. An improved system needs to be implemented to make it easier to try these out, in my opinion. Otherwise, this game is amazing and I love playing it every day.

Some sort or glitch. I was doing one of the songs in this event. When I did my second attempt the beats were starting before the song would even let me interact with them. When i was able to press the beats they still were on screen. They wouldn’t disappear this made it hard to play the song and made my score lower. I’m not mad or anything. Just figured I’d let the devs know so it can be fixed for in the future. Thx for another great game looking forward to the new events and songs guys. 🎶🎶

Two stars. I’m writing my review today as I’ve reached out to the techs of this game for this reason once before and something need to change…. It’s a very fun game I’ve been playing for a few months now along with my family. But I’m here to say don’t waste your time on the events that you receive the tokens in if you don’t plan on getting on every time it tell you something available. I’m a mom of three kids and my youngest is 17 months so realistically picking up my phone when the game goes off isn’t always an option for me. So do to that I’ve lost tokens because the event is closed/no longer available. at this point, I feel like we should still be allowed to spend our tokens or our token should be converted into points towards our song boxes as getting new songs to play gets to be a challenge itself. I know this is just my opinion and many people will probably just scroll past but in the world we live in today $10 a month to get the extras isn’t worth it to me I’ve got kids and random expenses that could pop up at any time Thanks and have a great day.

Addicting. I’ve enjoyed this the little I played but because the hard and even extreme can be unbearable, I only gave 4 stars because it’d be nice to see a normal, hard, and extreme for each song so once you master one, you can go to the next. That’s so far my only complaint and the transactions is just an option for anyone that wants to try to unlock extra so I don’t have an issue with that. Overall, a fun game and I don’t play many of these rhythm games.

Just beatstar but the worst genre from the game. This is just Beatstar except it’s centered around (in my opinion) the worst genre in the game which I think is because either everyone hated that they added country to Beatstar or the people who make the game just like country either way I believe any other genre from the game would’ve been better and would hope to see something like that in the future and I would’ve given this game 3 stars but there’s ads after songs in this game which is just a downgrade from Beatstar which only makes you watch ads for rewards

Fun game. It’s fun for a bit Id say it still has my least favorite feature of beatstar, the slide notes. I’m just not a fan of having to slide my finger across the screen and have to dart my finger back to the other side again to meet the next note on that side. Makes the game not so enjoyable after a while because you’ll spend so many gems trying to get through the songs. I understand it’s a unique part of the game but some people just don’t have the finger dexterity to do slide notes through most of the songs.

Recommend. For any who loved country music or might want to discover some new artist this is one of the best games I have ever had. I used to play beat star and I always got mad and sometimes I would get rid of it. Country star sometimes makes me feel mad but I never want to get rid of it. If this tell you anything let it tell you to get it and you won’t regret it. At least I haven’t and that says a lot since I always get rid of games I have had for years. I will always have this for years and never will get rid of it. Thank you to the people who created this game. It is one of the best games out

Music is Egh. Don’t get me wrong, this is a very fun game to play; HOWEVER, they have very little “true” country songs. I’m talking 80s, 90s, and early 2000s country. There’s too many songs with rap in it and songs that should belong in the pop category instead of country. This game needs to bring ACTUAL country music for the true country fans, not this fake country music that’s popular today. And yes, this is coming from a 26 year old who was raised on good ole’ REAL country music. If they would add more songs like that, I would give the game 5 stars.

One Problem. Dear developers I have filed a couple reports about things that yall may want to add to the game. We all know the Legend Toby Keith died a couple weeks back. So I was wondering if the next tour pass could be like dead legends. You could include Kieth Whitley, Jimmy Buffet, George Jones , and Waylon Jennings. Now I love this game but adding some song diversity could do you some good. When I saw this game I thought finally I’m going to be able to play George Strait, but still no songs from him. I would by the tour pass if it included some legends. Until you add some old country songs this song is going to be a 3. Thank you for your time hopefully you will take this into consideration.

Can’t hardly play. Don’t get me wrong I’m happy there is a country game out here unlike piano tiles because it doesn’t have country music, but the fact I can’t play hardly ever without watching a video for each song is a little ridiculous to me. I shouldn’t have to pay for watch videos every single song. I go on to play after 24 hours or more without playing and I get one song before having to watch videos, personally I get games like this to chill and have some me time but no one wants to watch a 2 min video just for 1 song

I started to like this game. But I want to have to have fun, not stressing out.. This app used to be fun at the start. But then they have to make everything hard once you lvl up just to lvl 4. It veer unfair, you won’t probably don’t get to hear all the music. And it annoying just trying to have fun. I rather play that Piano app game because at least, it make it very simple and have DIFFICULTY settings. This app is only fun at the beginning but as keep playin, Why everything have to be hard ? Why there no difficulty for people who just want to enjoy the app and challenge people who want to test the reflex? I don’t like having to know all the type of note. And I CANT keep playing when my chests inventory is full!?? Why? Can’t I just keep keeping for the fun? This app need a difficulty setting, and need to have the ability to keep playing when you inventory is full.

Edit.2.5. I don’t even remember where i came across this at, was playing the new MainStage update on fortnite which is like guitar hero and was telling somebody they better put some Morgan wallen or Chris Stapleton on there and then i picked up my phone and as usual the NSA didn’t let me down while listening in… this game popped up, the songs are absolutely spectacular, there’s even songs i didn’t expect to be on here. Only complaint is some times the ads won’t let you get through them so you have to close the app. EDIT: crazy how as soon as i left a good review all the ads started piling in, literally after every song. They started out just options for an ad if you want bonus cards (which was fine) up until my review which became ads after every song.

A really great game! But... I love this game and BeatStar but.. with the song cases you need to make it so you can open more than one at once it will help so people can play more songs at a time. Again, I really love this game except for that one minor problem! I hope you consider my opinion and make the game so you can get more than one case at a time so then you don’t have to wait as long as usual also pls make BeatStar faster and make it so you can open more than one song case at a time! I really love this game it is amazing and I hope you consider my opinion because I feel it will make the game better but I am still giving it five stars because I love it so much. Love it keep up the work. First of all I just gotta say this is one off the best apps ever better than piano tiles lol. But it’s little upsetting that after u fill in all 3 boxes u have to wait 3 hours to open one of the boxes to continue playing unless u have enough gems to open one of the crates so I think u should be able to have more playing hours instead of waiting 3 hours to play. Also o think some Kane brown, luke Bryan, corper Alan, Dustin lnych, and more popular country sings should be added. Great game and love playing.

Legendary. I have done less than 5 reviews total because I haven’t found many apps that are worthy of a review….. until now. I’ve been playing games like this for years and Have always said the ones out there needed more country songs and better ones at that. This app has an amazing mix of my favorites from my childhood Up to today. I’ve only been playing for a few minutes and have fallen in love with this app. Thanks guys you’ve really outdone yourselves with county star…. Well done!

I love it. I’m just a dude who grew up in the hoods off Dallas to and just recently found a love for country music maybe 3 or 4 years ago. I was a big fan of beatstar but was probably the first person on the planet that said “hey why ain’t there any country songs on here” so yeah this is awesome. Although I haven’t seen as many of the names that got me started listening to country as I would have liked so far, but who knows yall might have some surprises for me.

Great Game. Deciding whether to purchase pass is the big question….. This is an absolute masterpiece of a game if you love country music and grew up with guitar hero….( or the old school tap tap revenge:) The only thing, is that I wish the free rewards compared to the premium rewards in the pass were a little more fulfilling. I love this game but I can’t justify spending money for more songs all the time, I wish there was more of a reward system for building your library without buying the pass. The addition of skins is awesome. The UI and gameplay is gorgeous….so smooth! The only thing stopping me from this being the only game I play is I wish it had multiplayer! Wether it be battles, co-op, or some kind of instrument party! I love playing games with my wife, and feel guilty when I enjoy something without her. If you add multiplayer, I’ll buy whatever it takes 😀 Keep up the good work team!

Addictive with Impressive Country Selection. I saw this advertised on Instagram and was shocked to see indie artists like Jesse Daniel. Clearly the game creators know real country music from across the spectrum and have strived to represent the depth and breadth of the genre. The game play if fun and gets more challenging. I enjoy collecting new songs and getting to listen to my favorite tunes while playing. This is addictive and that’s saying a lot for someone who hasn’t played a game on my phone in more than a year.

Broken. This game would get 5 stars immediately…If I could play it. As soon as it loads I get a spinning circle on the screen and then can’t do anything. I’ve uninstalled it, reinstalled it and then signed in my account and then same thing, right back to spinning circle. Have no problem with Best star. If they can’t fix this and I can’t play the game, I’ll redo my review to say that this game should be taken down by Apple.

Fun and wholesome!!. I've played BeatStar and enjoyed it even though not all the songs were my taste (and some not appropriate to play around my kids). I just downloaded CountryStar today and have loved playing every song! Maybe country is more wholesome in general but all the songs have been kid-friendly, too!! Thank you for such a fun app! And if you're looking for another junior software developer, I’d love an interview. And not just because I want to spend more time playing this game. 😁😅😊

3 stars for now. Don’t get me wrong this game is great and I loved beat star however there’s no a single Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, rascal flats, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Brad paisley, Luke Bryan, I could go on but there’s so many iconic songs that’s not on there but Avicii is? I understand he’s on beat star and it’s an easy cross over but it’s named country for a reason I thought and I know it’s the first few hours of the release but I’d think there’d be at least one song from any of the legends (in their own right) I said before. Once they start getting added, my rating will definitely go up, but over all great game so far.

Two months review from a top 5 player. I downloaded this game the moment it was released. Let me start by saying I’m a decent player, I have one diamond perfect song and about 68 diamonds out of 74 total songs. I’ve been playing for over 2 months now. At the core of it, this game can be fun if you’re able to oversee certain issues. The mechanics of this game is not consistent. For example, I can easily get a diamond on a hard song and struggle to get a platinum on a basic song. THE MOST IRRITATING FEATURE OF THIS GAME ARE THE ADS, you watch for everything. The moment you finish a song an ad pops up. The game play is unforgiven, You missed one title while playing? Just pay gems or Watch an ad to continue, for certain people this can be very frustrating. You want 2 extra cards for “free”? Here’s an ad. Im not against a company trying to make money especially when the base package is free but this is just ridiculous, even if you pay for the tour pass premium which is about $12, it doesn’t give you unlimited play, absolutely ridiculous. You pay the pass just to get songs. I’m glad I didn’t pay for it. The developer will not read this review, Supercell barely does. It’s been a fun ride but this is my stop.

Beatstar but for country, but same long ads and microtransactions. I’ve put in a couple of hours of casual play. First though, really not sure why this game exist when it’s just a country focused Beatstar. No changes outside of that at all, except they changed the way the notes fall towards you at a bit more of an angle. Not a fan, makes it more difficult to get the notes just right at times. Overall, it’s a fun and engaging game. Even at normal level the songs can be challenging. Not a whole lot of repetitive moves but there is enough familiar motions in each so so that it’s not unbearable challenging for a casual player. Yes, there are ads, but only if you want to play more then 3 songs at a time or do extra side item/etc. I will say the ads are absolutely unbearable so I often just select an ad and do something else for a minute or two and come back to it. Micro-transactions a sore point. Mostly because to really enjoy the game at all you will need gems. They give you a laughable 5 a day for free… Miss one note in the song? Can’t continue till you spend some gems. It gets to unbearable at higher level songs, which I mostly just avoid playing now. Also, even if you buy the season pass, you STILL have to worry about timed events and micro-transactions to progress. Pretty awful if you ask me. Other than that, it’s been fun. Good for a try, or if you plan to only play a couple of songs a day. Will be expensive if you want to be competitive.

Ads….. I enjoyed Beat Star and ton and was really excited for Country Star when it came out. It’s a great game and I like all the challenges and events that they’ve added. However, now they’re forcing ads after each sone that you play and it’s infuriating. One of the best aspects of the game was that the only adds you saw where your choice and if you wanted to watch them to get additional gems or more music cards…the ads now play after each song regardless of if you opted in for them to gain extra gems/cards. It’s ruined the game for me and others. I’m stopped playing all together for this reason.

Perfect+ Delineation. Besides a lot of twangy rhythms associated with ancient country music - most of us born in the 70s or later prefer modern country/country rock - it’s extremely difficult to discern Perfect+ (Beatstar 💚) from Perfect (Beatstar 🩵). Being an avid Beatstar player, I need to better know where I’m messing up without looking halfway up the page real quick to see whether I got that Perfect+...it’s a bit frustrating. Just my two cents; others may feel differently, I guess??

Finally a Great Game for Country Music!. First off, I am so glad there’s finally a good game for country music. I know there are people that will complain about their genre not being included, but that doesn’t matter. Country fans like myself are typically super passionate about country music, and couldn’t care less about the other genres. That’s why having this focused game is so cool. The game itself is also soooo smooth. I haven’t had any problems with glitches, and the ads are not distracting at all. I’ve played similar games before but always struggled because I didn’t know many of the songs. Now, I can enjoy playing banger after banger from the comfort of my blue recliner. The events and daily shuffles keep things interesting, as well as trying to beat my high score. Now for some slight criticism. I find it atrocious that the trashy David Morris song Carrying Your Love is in the game (no offense) but nothing by George Strait. I wish there was a way to delete a song from my game so it doesn’t pop up in those events anymore. It’s the only song I play on mute. I know the game is brand new, so I hope you will provide plenty of George Strait songs in the near future. After all, you can’t have a game about country music without the King! Overall, absolutely wonderful and much needed game to market to country music fans like myself. Hats off, Grady Smith.

More and more problems.. Eventually you can’t play at all without spending money, support tells you this isn’t the case but sitting right next to my friend while she watches ad after ad and continuously plays as opposed to me who spends real money and still can’t play? Game is fraudy. Only SOME accounts get to continue playing while others have to pay to continue. Also eventually you don’t get daily gems. It’s been three days since I’ve been able to collect any. It’s just problem after problem at this point so I’m calling it quits with Country Star. Maybe one day they’ll figure it out and make the game fair but currently to this day, that is not the case.

It’s okay. Overall great game/ great concept but like everything takes so long and I hate that like imagine having to wait 24 hrs for the events and the timer for the event runs out before you can get more songs to play to finish the event that’s frustrating. Opening the chest takes forever you only get three spots for chest and one tends to be a deluxe and takes 5 hours for that one and three hours for the regular chest. Another thing would have to be getting so many tokens or whatever like lets say the cards to open music genre chest it goes higher and just takes longer for you to get the chest open because of how high the number is.

Great Game but missing some country icons. Country star for sure is a upgrade to beat star and plays extremely smooth. The current mix of country sub genres is on points and there is a song for any type of fan. However, I feel some of the sub genres or boxes in the game are missing icons. Firstly, I feel the 90s country box needs more icons like George Stait, Travis Tritt, Reba, and so forth. Additionally, the same can be said for country gold, Willy Nelson is in the game but where’s Waylon, Conway, Hank Jr. at? I know you can’t get licensing from all artists and there label companies but for future updates please take this into consideration for some of the older country fans.

Unprepared Launch. I was relatively new to Beatstar when the ads started popping up for this game. The gameplay is similar but almost too easy in comparison. The biggest disappointment is the lack of well known country songs. I’m sure there’s rights issues so I’ll give you that. The fact that I’ve leveled up almost 4 times and haven’t unlocked any new songs and only have Deluxe versions to get just shows a lack of preparation. It is a super fun game because I enjoy the new songs I have not heard before but I have an astronomical amount of music to unlock in its counterpart so the fact that this one is so limited is mildly disappointing.

Not good and not fair !!!. I was playing the beat star event and it keeps saying I’m missing notes so then it asks to use gems so I do .. then a couple taps later it as I tap on the note it says I miss the note and thing pops up to use gems so I don’t lose streak okay.. I do and it still keeps saying I’m not tapping on the note when clearly I’m tapping on it!!! I lost about 200 gems just trying not to lose my streak for the beat chaser even bc you can’t get those back and time is limited and so are gems when you do t have money to buy more gems!!! Rip off, I want all of my gems I lost back and the prizes I could’ve won but didn’t bc stupid thing kept saying I missed taps when clearly I didn’t!!!!! I want to sue and I can got a Great Lawer! I NEED MY STUFF BACK!!!!

Not comparable to Beatstar. I come from a whole lifehood of rhythm games. I'm a veteran, if you will. And I genuinely enjoyed Beatstar, and still do. And while this game exceeds in what I thought it would be upon finally releasing, it... surprisingly disappointed me. It feels rather lifeless for an odd reason. But the worst part is, every track is like setting your hyperspeed cheat on Guitar Hero. It'll make you feel sick after a few songs, especially since they made the bar section much bigger than Beatstar's - which everyone grew comfortable with and didn't necessarily see a point in changing. I love Country Star, but I don't find myself playing it as much as Beatstar. Unless they fix the speed and bar. I can play the speed fine, honestly, but it would be impossible for newcomers - and it genuinely makes me feel sick after a few songs. Some songs genuinely should not be that difficult and its only due to layout and speed. A great game, but a few minor flaws! (I did really enjoy how many good songs I found on there! And the facts have been fun! The distinguished loading screens were also a nice surprise. c:) Lots of love, dev team! - REGARDS

Leave the country pop to Beatstar please. Beatstar is where the pop music should be. Can we just have some real country songs? Where the crap is George Strait? I was shocked to see Alan Jackson and Tracy Byrd… good choices. But these little chick pop stars wearing cowboy hats and short skirts aren’t doing it for the country music fans. They are who ruined country music. Lainey Wilson I can get down with. Miranda all day. But the other ones aren’t even worth remembering their names. Like nails on a chalkboard. Please take them off and put some real country music on here.

Sink and audio issues make playing difficult. This would be a fun game if the audio didn’t digitize and slow down every 10 minutes. I don’t think this has anything to do with my tablet since I don’t have this problem with any other program or game. But it seems like after every other ad — and my god, there are far too many ads in this thing — starts to drag, digitize, and otherwise just sound like crap. This throws the video queues off, so you end up being frustrating. And then there is the number of ads. Ridiculous. I understand games have to monetize through ad revenue, but there’s a point where it becomes counterproductive for everybody. I feel like I spend more time waiting for ads to finish then I do actually playing the game. And, specifically, I am sick to death of the Rpyal Match ads. At this point, if it was the ONLY game available and my only other option was a root canal without anesthesia, I take the root canal. Every time I see an ad for it, it just makes me not want to download it even more. The rest of the ads are not quite so obnoxious, and I’m willing to put up with them for the sake of free play, just not after every other tap I’ve decided to delete the game, both because of the ad issue, and the audio issue. the concept is great, and I have found some interesting new country music I did not know about, but it’s just not worth the frustration

Too many ads. I’ve been playing Beatstar since it came out and was hopeful about this new game as it is more opportunity for a similar game. But there are just far too many ads in this game. Ads after each song is too much and something they don’t do in Beatstar. Remove these and you’ve got a 5 star game

Good but needs more artists. This is an amazing game! Lots of quality songs, but it needs more songs from artists new and old. For example, I am yet to unlock a Brad Paisley, Kane Brown, or FGL song. Also seeing one Carrie Underwood song is a crime in itself especially since her vocal range would be perfect for this game in songs like All-American Girl, Jesus, Take the Wheel, and So Small. Other than that, I recommend.

I would personally pay a large fee to remove limited pay and then remove the randomness of the music. i should be able to own any song i want. keep some randomness maybe in deluxe or gold songs but people really should be able to just play the music they want. Also, please get more licenses to hardcore and deathcore music 🥲

Detailed review. Country Star is great, better than Beat Star in my opinion and I’m not a country music listener. The layout (the board) being further down than above is way more user friendly to get better quicker. The timing is also more accurate for me. The only complaint I have is the amount of ads and eventually it’s “no ads to watch” so I can’t play at all. I understand the creators need money but I would rather pay a big sum to remove ads entirely, not just an amount for 30 minutes and I’m sure other players would be happy for free + ads. Would love to see other music genres get their own games in the future. Love the facts about the artists too - makes for an interesting loading screen. The art in the game is immaculate also. Nice work! (Just please help us with the ad situation so we can continue to enjoy)

Good game. You should be able to not do the event if you want

Lots of potential. Really cool idea, but I think there needs to be some changes to keep all types of players invested for more than a couple of uses. There should be different difficulty levels to choose from; easy (tap and slide bar) medium (tap, slide bar, directional arrows), hard (slide bar with directional arrows) rather than difficultly automatically increasing per level played. In addition, mistakes in a song should result in a poorer rating not forcing a restart or using gems. I believe these changes would turn one/two time players into long term players. Making the game too difficult or discouraging will not retain players, whether they are willing to pay or free to play. The song selection and variety is impressive and the idea is fun.

This is an Upgrade.. If you played Beat stars and enjoyed that, Well then you’re going to love this, This a is pure upgrade on Beat stars with the UI being way more comfortable to watch and tap, Better to hit perfect+ shots, They may not have changed much with the mechanics but the Ui is 10x better, everything feels smooth and seamless, and I’m happy that effects don’t crowd my screen as well, Ofc the songs are great, Very well done!

I’m a huge fan of Beatstar so I actually enjoy this one just as much but the only thing I think may need some fixing is to slow down the beats on the ones that are supposed to be easy I know Beatstar slows down the time when you touch the tiles for the easy ones and for the harder ones they go a bit faster either then that I love it I’m glad I pre downloaded it

Great game!!. The game has so many good features great to play for free not full of ads to compensate either. You can still enjoy with no money spent and get great songs aswell!! As for gameplay so smooth song are on point and no 3rd party off YouTube music either greats stuff!!

Country star. Seems like a great game I don’t know if it was my phone or not but I was tapping but sometimes it wasn’t going through

Ads. It starts off barely giving any ads at all but once you have played for about an hour it starts to overflow you with ads. However that’s not even my biggest complaint, that would be the fact that once you’ve played for a bit you have to either pay 25gems to play the song for half an hour or watch one 30second ad to get to play the song ONCE, if you want to change to a different song after you pay the 25 gems then you have to repeat the process.

Love the game but…. Already loved the game since it is just like beatstar and I am a huge country music fan. However, everytime I get a new song it doesn’t appear available to play… it has happened to me all day and it’s frustrating because i have been playing the game the whole day and got at least 5-6 new songs but they never appear on my profile. Also it means that all the cards that I am getting are disappearing… i tried to contact support but since this morning it’s not even working. I have spent gems AND watched ads for these songs and none of them have appeared on my profile which is very frustrating. Please fix this I don’t even want to play anymore because I am so mad :(

Benefit for getting perfect. Been playing since just Beatstar and was so happy to see a country music version, only thing is there should be more benefit to getting a perfect score opposed to it being the same as diamonds. Whether it’s more of the season pass coins or gems or whatever, there should be some incentive to push us other then just getting perfect to get better than diamond

However, this game is unreal; it has real, good music for the many different genres within country music. It also has a good range of normal-hard-extreme-deluxe difficulties. PS. Boot Scootin Boogie deluxe edition is harder than free bird somehow and makes me want to kms

Fun country game but... I really enjoy this game it’s well optimized and there events and extra goodies already the only issue I find which was way worst for beat stars seems less on the game which is great is the ads. Beat stars was worst they hit you with ads all the time you watched more ads then got to play that’s why I can’t. Play that one even though there is great songs on there this one has less ads so please make sure it stays that way or even better make a subscription where if you pay the monthly sub you get no ads I would do that no problem if you did that for beat stars as well I bet more people would do so as well. Money Star?. It’s fun for about the first five songs then the difficulty rating gets insane and it’s money money money to have any chance at progressing. Once again what could have been a great game fails because of greed. First few songs unlock with 5-10 cards then suddenly it’s 30-50 cards per song. GREED GREED GREED

Is there a glitch?. I love this app and Beatstar but on both apps there seems to be a glitch or something. After every add or when apps are first open the far left panel (while in game) periodically seem to miss that you’ve tap it. Even you get in with no glitch after the add at the end of the song messes up the whole app.

Way too many ads. Fun game and good music. I like they have no. Mainstream bands like as Mike and the Moonpies. But, way too many ads. Watch an ad to claim a bonus or cards. Then immediately watch another ad to get another play. I understand the ads are to encourage you to pay to play. I don’t mind a 30 second ad periodically but back to back ads is a little much. Or just make them 15 seconds instead of 30 sec.

Good game but. Great app but needs more actual country songs. I love this app and the thought that BeatStar dedicated a whole new app to country music. That being said I wish there was more actual country music that is accessible and less of the “alternative country” that’s has no real roots in the genre. Also a feature to suggest songs in the app itself would be nice to have.

Best ape game yet. It’s better than the other two games and it also has is Luke Combs my favorite country singer. I’ve been waiting for this game to come out for the last couple of months and I just got a notification at 5 o’clock this morning saying that the skin came out I was like oh I’ll play today but not at 5 o’clock.

Increase in Ads, No Thank You. Awesome app is being ruined by recent additional ads being shoved in your face. You complete a song on the Event, and you’re being forced to watch an add for no reason. What was a great app has been destroyed by forcefully manipulating your time to watch sadistic fake ads. It’s a shame really. Beat Star is decent as well, but again, supporting the worst of the worst advertising and condoning false advertising to go with it. Too bad Apple is poor enough in their decisions to allow such ridiculous pushing of junk annoying LONG ads.

Love both this and beat star however... I have both beat star and country star love it I do however think that the spot that you click is much larger and better for game play whereas the beat star bar is super small and a lot harder to get the perfect+ I find that I get frustrated with how small the bar on beat star is.

Only problem is the stupid swipe buttons during songs. When a down swipe button appears in the song I swipe down on it but the problem is that it also moves the iPhone screen using that same motion so I can’t continue to progress in the song and I lose guaranteed

Great Game. Hey developers (and players) This game is great for so many reasons. I really loved beatstar, as it was one of the few games i played that i never had a bad time playing. I was so excited for country star to come out, and i was not dissatisfied at all. The only thing that could be different in my opinion is changing the angle of the beats coming towards the perfect line to be similar to the beststar game. But, all in all, excellent game!!

Absolutely fantastic!. First off the songs are amazing, all types and different genres of country. The play feels so smooth and seamless with the beats of the songs. If you love country songs or just amazing songs in general I 100% suggest this game. And this is coming from someone who never writes reviews but it’s such a great game I was compelled too! Love the range of songs. As a country music snob, I appreciate the brilliant range of the songs. Never thought I’d play a game like this with songs from Mike & The Moonpies, Flatland Cavalry, 49 Winchester etc. Really shows that the people behind the game truly appreciate country music. Suggestion: I think songs from like Midland, Randall King would be awesome

Glitch. I put out a review a couple of days ago considering a glitch that I found in the game. Well today I figured out that the glitch is only on the song lyin low by Charles Wesley Godwin. Just thought I should put that out there. I’m not sure if it’s only me still but I still love this game

Made Me Like Country Music. Really not even joking, I was never a fan of country music until I played this game. Even in the other game Beatstar I didn’t click country music as one of my genres I liked, but this has really changed my mind. I’d give it a shot even if you think country music isn’t your taste.

It’s good but it’s just a copy/paste of their other game BeatStar…why?. I really enjoy BeatStar for the most part (ads aside) and this game feels a LOT like BeatStar…in fact, it pretty much is BeatStar with a couple UI changes…which makes me ask…why? Why take BeatStar and cut out the country music, paste it in a new app and present it as a new game when it’s essentially the same? Kinda smells like your trying to double dip into micro transactions for the same game…? Leaves a bad taste in my mouth…

Beatstar is better. I couldn’t find exact difference between it and beatstar. But there are many stuffs need to be improved. The tracks are too narrow; endless “perfect”comments are quiet annoying bcs they shelter the beats when I am playing the song (same as the count of beats I hit in the event) ; songs are all of country style, causes auditory fatigue. Beatstar is better, and it’s actually unnecessary to download another *star

How much I love this game. This game is super fun and the reason why I gave it five stars is because this reason it shows you what to do when you’re a beginner you can get gems but there’s also one problem you have to pay for the gems you don’t have to pay for them when you earn them this is super fun I’m a hacker at this game. That’s why I love it so much that’s pretty much all.

This is country music, and we do!. I have always been a fan of country music. I listen to it everyday on my radio and on my phone. Little harder since it seems to have a little different layout than BeatStar, but didn’t take long to get the hang of it! I can’t wait for more events! Great job on making this app!

Beatstar but… country only?. Let me just say, I am a huge fan of Beatstar, why I am not a fan of this version is because of the angled view, maybe there is a way to change it back to a flat screen like it is in Beatstar, but it’s really the only difference the two games have, so I can see why they chose to keep it. I’m not sure why they didn’t just keep the original country genre that Beatstar already had, maybe to reach a wider audience but it certainly didn’t appeal to me even as a country fan. To sum it up in three words “Disappointing UI Change”

Wonderful!. I usually love playing games like magic tiles but they never have any good songs or even any country songs, I saw this in an ad and I decided to try it and it’s honestly amazing it’s fun, has a great music selection, and runs very smoothly. All around great game and my new favorite!

it’s okay, not as good as beatstar.. i keep coming back to beatstar, but i'm about to delete country star completely. it’s glitchy and laggy, and no matter how many times i swipe in the correct direction on notes in deluxe songs, it STILL stops the song. i don’t have the gems to continue playing, and i’m sure as heck not spending as much money on this game as i have on beatstar. 5/10.

I love this game but I always wait more than 30 minutes. When you finish a certain amount of songs you have to wait 30 minutes to play again or you can watch an ad but my 30 minutes timer always takes longer sometimes hours sometimes days sometimes weeks so anytime I want to play a song I have to watch a ad and it gets really annoying

Love but…... Love this game but the amount of ads is complete overkill! Have to pretty much watch an ad enter each song to get your reward and then another one before each song if your cases are full and they fill up fast the take 3-5 hours to open. I know they need the ads to keep it free but WAY too many!

Love it, wish it didn’t stop you from playing. Out of understanding I still give it the 4 star - everybody has to make money. However, locking out playing levels after (x) plays behind ads or in-app purchases kinda discourages me from wanting to continue playing. I understand it’s not easy to make a profit on something like this, but it is discouraging how many ads I’ve had to watch in the few days since release.

Good game but one minor issue. I’ve been playing this game for a while now and I love it. I’ve been able to diamond over 100 songs but there’s one thing that’s keeping this game from getting a 5 star review from me. At times I get phone notifications while I’m playing and if I’m in the middle of the song, it slows down so much that I miss notes and that’s just unacceptable. If they can fix this issue then I’ll consider giving this game a 5 star review.

I think I’m addicted!!. As a long time Guitar Hero and Rock Band fan, I’ve never been quite taken with mobile versions. That being said I was SUPER reluctant to play, but the combination of awesome new and classic country songs along with the unsuspected trickiness of some of the songs makes it even better—especially since I get to name to Chapel Hart! THERE IS NO REASON THIS GAME IS THIS ADDICTING!!!!

Ads. This game is great. I’ve been so addicted. But the reason I gave it 1 star is because of the ads. I understand the game has to make money… but I spent $10 to get the season pass. Why exactly do I still have to watch ads? It’s ridiculous. I play 3 songs then it makes me either spend gems (that I don’t have) or watch an ad for every single song I want to play after that. If it weren't for that I would rate it 5 stars. The season pass needs to include no ads in the future and I will change my review

It’s really good game. It is good for people that enjoy country music because there is not very much games for that but there is no ways to get diamonds and if there is there is not a very clear area to see because if you waste them you can’t open up your case but other than that it is very i quality and I don’t think you need Wi-Fi for it

Amazing Amazing. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better. They throw in country Amazing cool vibes Music is great never wanted to leave a review but honestly worth the play. If you play Beat Star you will fall for this one more. Just added so many songs I never had before I also reach platinum on one of the songs this is my style I love so much amazing guys Thank you

Tour pass. There’s been two tour passes in a row now where two of my favorite songs ore on the pass. I can’t justify spending 10 dollars in a mobile game because the only thing on the pass I want is one song. I feel like they would be unlock able later or purchase able with diamonds. But other than that? I absolutely love the game. Song boxes taking so long to unlock is a pain but it’s alright I don’t mind it too terribly much.

Definitely worth playing!!!. I’ve played Beatstar which has several different genres of music but definitely like the different style they’ve added to country star. One thing I was surprised about is they didn’t add a lot of the really famous country music. Would love to see more Jason Aldean, Morgan Wallen, Billy currington, and rascal flatts. But overall very clean design and definitely an addicting game!

Love the game but…. I absolutely love this game the only thing I ask is you change the way that you can’t really play once your song cases fill up (which doesn’t take long to do) if you could make it so you can have all 3 cases being unlocked at once or make it 5 cases or bring down the time length or take to unlock one the game would be so much more playable and fun so for now 4 stars

4 stars due to one issue. This game is amazing.. I absolutely love this game the music and all. My only issue is why do we have to stop the entire song/ game if we make one mistake we should be able to continue until the end and then get judged on our performance. Because being in an entire groove and you make one mistake it ruins the whole vibe lol.

Fix the down arrow swiping issue. I love how well the game is made, but my one major issue that beat star never had is that when ever i have to swipe down, it slides the whole game half way down my screen on the iphone as if I am trying to minimize the game. Please fix this!

Suspicious leaderboards. Game is pretty good. It is just beat star with only country songs which is absolutely amazing. Even the numbers to get gold platinum and diamond are the same. However if you look at the leaderboards there are what I can only assume is a bunch of cheaters. They are max level and diamoned all songs within 2 hours of release. Unless these are developer accounts but it just does mot seem right to me

Words can’t express. This game is unbelievably amazing, this is the best thing Space Ape could do to any of their game. No bugs have yet to come by, all the songs that are available right now are the best hits from today and way back when, better skins and tracks and better then Beat Star for sure! 🤠❤️‍🔥

GREAT GAME! 5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. This game is so good I love it not a lot of adds and there’s so many fun events and things to do, mostly everything you would want and need is free the stuff that is money is cheap anyway tho. If you like country music you would like this game! It’s so easy to level up and you earn new songs so easily! I love this game so awsome!!!

Fix it!. I Love Beatstar and I figured I would feel the same about this new version. They did something with the speed of the notes and it’s horrible after a few songs. I feel like my eyes arent working right and sometimes it even makes me feel a bit ill. It’s like it’s too fast and my eyes can’t keep up. It’s so disappointing bc if it was set up like Beatstar it would definitely be 5 stars for me. Please fix it!

Fun, but lots of ads. This game is a lot of fun to play. My main gripe is how badly they limit how much you can play without watching ads. Tons of ads. Also, I wish there was more classic country in this. They have a lot of songs that are really rock ‘n roll or hip-hop thinly disguised as country. Lots of southern rock and hick-hop. That’s fine, for those who like it, but I was hoping for more classic stuff.

This game is amazing. I am so happy to have found a game that is based on country music. Beat star is a cool game, but I feel like you do not get enough country music option on it. This game is purely based on country music, so you are guaranteed to play your favorite classic country song. I greatly recommend this game is you love country music. It is so fun, and you get to sing along with your classics!

Recommend!. i had pre-ordered the game and it just arrived today, for me that is. i’m not sure what i was expecting, but it wasn’t this. i definitely recommend! they have so many song options available, and a very good set up! it’s addicting and great way to listen to some of your favorite country songs while you keep yourself entertained !

Why does this happen???. I got to level four in the game, and it started making me pay gems to be able to play games.🙄 I don’t know why it does that, but I don’t like it! If the people who made this game could take that off, I will quit considering to delete the game. It is a great game, don’t get me wrong! But the fact that I have to pay 25 gems to get to play for 25 minutes is NOT cool. Do better with this game. I also hate the fact that the free daily gems were taken off. How do you expect me to continue playing a song if I mess up??

Love the game but lag (at least for me). I’ve been playing this game for a while. And just recently it gets very laggy when a lot of tiles come up. I’ve tried everything I can to fix it. Deleting & redownloading the app, updating my phone, checking my internet/data, etc. But the lag doesn’t go away. If there’s anyway it could be fixed I would much appreciate it. Bc I love the game, but the lag is just irritating.

Only getting deluxe cards?. I enjoy this game since its similar to Beatstar. However, recently I’ve noticed during the events that after reaching the end of a level, when its supposed to open different genre cards or liked songs cards, it only opens deluxe cards now. Why is this happening? It defeats the purpose of the game in my opinion. That’s really my only complaint.
