Fun and Addictive game. The controls are jank but in a good way that makes the driving really engaging in my opinion, it does a great job at conveying the feel of a chaotic driver , learning how to drift just right to turn corners that were previously difficult is satisfying, the music is catchy but i wouldn’t mind a few more tracks, all around a fun game ive been looking for decent games that don’t require internet and of those i could find this was my favorite

Frustrating to Play. Aesthetically the game is beautiful and the soundtrack is fantastic. But the gameplay is just not fun. The vehicles control like bricks. The control scheme of "tap twice to drift" means trying to make small adjustments throws you into an unwanted drift. You can't really see vehicles in front of you since everything moves so fast, especially on turns making collisions often near impossible to avoid. Triggering a police chase is basically a death sentence when combined with all the other factors. I want to love it on the visuals and sound alone but I can't force myself to play a game that seems determined to make the player quit.

Controls are atrocious. The music is pretty awesome. At the title screen I was like alright let’s go. Within seconds of actually playing the game I’m like no thank you. I played maybe 20 seconds then quit and deleted the game. It’s not fun or intuitive to control at all.

mid. driving is kind of fun but sometimes they make it impossible to survive and you die very easily. also sometimes when the cop shows up on the screen it doesn’t let you turn or drift so you just smack into the wall

Fun, stylish, and challenging racing game. This game looks and sounds fantastic, and is gloriously outrun/retrowave. The gameplay is fun and the controls feel good, especially once you figure out how to drift without crashing. I haven’t gotten good at it yet, but I can tell that there is a lot of awesome potential in the degree of control you have over how you can drift, which allows a degree of mastery to be achieved that racing games like Asphalt 8 just don’t allow. There are no microtransactions in this game, and all of the cars can be unlocked through gameplay alone. As far as I can tell, the cars offer no gameplay differences, which I like because I can play whichever one looks coolest without worrying about a bunch of stats. I do wish there was an option to pay to get rid of ads, because I love this game and want to support the developers but I don’t like ads, and there are a few of them in this game. Thankfully, they let you skip them ASAP, instead of forcing you to watch them for 30 seconds or something. Overall, I would highly recommend this game, especially to fans of racing games, outrun/retrowave, or classic video games. Give it a try, I don’t think you’ll regret it!

Criminally Underated. I’m honestly surprised that this game isn’t hugely popular, I’ve had so much fun playing it, even though it’d get hard at some points I’ve still had a blast playing it. Fantastic Game :)

Woke up dis morning. This game is awesome unfortunately it lacks a white 2003 Cadillac Escalade. The addition of this car would make this game the best game to ever be played

🐐 Driftin game. I see lots of ppl saying it's super hard and overall bad, but honestly they just ain't up for a challenge. I admit it takes a bit of practice to get used to, but once you get a grip on it, the game is so addictive and fun. If you into car, and drifting, racing and peaceful retro games, definitely give it a try. I recommend it for sure and for the people who complain for the difficulty, i guess they need easier games, but honestly practice makes perfect 👌

A good game hindered by how bad the controls are. This game is really amazing. The graphics style, the soundtrack, and the gameplay are all perfect. My main issue is how broken the steering controls are. For example, I wanted to turn slightly to get a health pickup, but the car starts drifting and ends up making me crash all over the place. Or when I want to drift on a sharp turn and it instead turns slightly and makes me crash directly into oncoming traffic. Improving how the drift and turn controls work would help significantly improve the game.

Eh. I feel like the controls are way too confusing and there’s not enough details on what to do. So 🤷🏽‍♀️

Dark Souls in a car. The look and sound are fantastic, it gives me big F-Zero vibes. The controls are really awkward to get used to, though, and it’s really really easy to die.

Terrible controls. The controls were so bad I nearly broke my phone but apart from that, this is a great game 👍

Great game, slight flaws. First and foremost, I really enjoy this game. I, admittedly, had trouble with the controls at first, but once you get the hang of it it just sort of clicks and you can drift around every corner with ease. I really enjoy the big selection of cars and the variety within the maps. Almost forgot to mention the soundtrack which slaps super hard! The only issue I have with the game is the sheer abundance of ads with no ad-blocker option. Maybe if the ads were after every couple of runs or at least every-other run it wouldn’t be so bad, like when this was first released. But the fact that it’s after every. Single. Run. Is a little taxing and sort of pushes me away after just a couple of runs/ads. At the end of the day, this is still a FREE game and a great one at that. Hoping for more updates soon!

Retro Done Right. This game nails the PS1/PSX vibe in ways that most others miss the mark imo. From catchy music and low poly graphics to an intro reminiscent of an 90’s arcade attract screen it gets an A+ for aesthetics. All that said, I think a few tweaks could be made to substantially improve the gameplay and overall experience. 1. Reduce proximity (or hit box?) for hazard signs. Even when passing these with reasonable distance between their icon and the car, it still manages to trigger police 80% of the time. The only guaranteed way to successfully avoid them is to be on the opposite side of the screen, which isn’t always possible when taking corners and dodging traffic. 2. Increase proximity for gas cans. These icons have the opposite issue where it feels like the car has to be driven straight into them in order for the game to register. You’re drifting through most of the stage so a little more leeway would really help. 3. Consider a slight reduction for collision damage. At times, it seems that just before I’m able to get into a stage the car is already on the verge of exploding. Making them a little more durable will give players an opportunity to actually appreciate the excellent level design during gameplay. 4. Improved controls. Given the era of racing games this appears to emulate, a little jank is to be expected. However, the drifting can be a bit too janky to the point where it feels almost impossible to take turns without hitting something along the way. If there are any adjustments to make it more comparable to drifting in something like the original Ridge Racer (for example) I think it would make a world of difference. I’m actually enjoying the game so much that I purchased the premium version but figured I’d post here since this seems to be where most of the reviews have landed.

Too many ads and clunky controls.. I LOVE the music. But that’s about it. Controls feel delayed and clunky. This results in you dying a LOT. Each time you die, you will need to watch an ad before you’re allowed another attempt on a track. Be prepared to spend half of your time watching ads (no ad-free option). This game feels like an ad-revenue scam.

Good game but…... Honestly I really like this game, it’s fun and entertaining, but the collision detection really needs work, other than that I enjoy the soundtracks, and maps. Overall it’s a fun game and a great idea but just needs a little polishing up.

Fun game. Its a simple and fun racing game without ads.

Pretty fun, but one critic. Controls are funky. No idea why they’re the way they are but it’s pretty difficult to properly grasp how to move about and drift when there’s pretty barebones instruction. It’s probably just me, but I found it off putting.

Impossibly hard. Look man you guys need to either work on the collision detection or make it way less punishing for knocking into obstacles because I can barely control the car as it is and it keeps knocking into cars that are like 5 feet away from me. Then I literally die in 5 seconds from the starting line because of the same issues.

Not bad I guess. I don’t really play games anymore, especially not a racing game, it was hard to get a hang of it in the beginning took me awhile, but idk how I end up completing the whole game just for the sake to complete it, I guess it kinda relax me somehow

A bit difficult. The game is very fun, but sometimes it is very hard to control the car, as the controls are a bit weird. The game is very fast paced which makes it a big more harder to get the fuel cans without crashing. Although I like the concept of the game, I hope the controls will be fixed in the future.

The most fun I had with a mobile game in a while. This game truly is challenging but in a fun and engaging way. Also with this new update, the number 11 car or the white egarante has its decals moved not in the right place.

Ads ruined the flow of the game. Was a fun way to kill time for a while, but the ads between replay killed the flow of the game.
