Historical Landings Game Reviews

New campaigns. Please.. For someone who's both a WWII buff and a flight sim enthusiast, this game is awesome. Just enough difficulty so it's not boring, but easy enough so you don't give up in frustration. All it needs now are some new campaigns.

Last mission. I also was able to land on the runway for the final mission. I followed the advice of several reviews, get to about 20k feet and glide onto the runway after the engine gets taken out. Though I also did not receive an award or ceremony upon landing, I had a small get together at home to celebrate. All in all a pretty good game. It would be great in the future if you could add being able to bomb targets yourself rather than just marking targets for the bombers. Was definitely worth the price to play all the missions.

OpaCroakman. The select target mission does not have a tutorial that says how you select the targets. There is no functional control that does it. I still cannot figure it out....6/30-finally found out you have to touch the target to get it to register as selected. Very clumsy on the iPad. Also the previous comment is correct about not recognizing you made it to the airbase. I guess the programmer thought nobody would find how how to make it all the way. Still another great game from Rortos!

Fun Sim. I too made it to the airport for the awards ceremony, on my fourth try. First, I crashed into the sea like told to do, but was arrested by the enemy. Second, I again crashed into the sea, but was close enough to land that skipped a couple of times and ended up on the beach above the waves. Nothing happened after that. Then on third try I deliberately landed into the sea and sank after a little while. No arrest or rescue. Fourth try I took off the carrier and did climbing circles around the carrier until I was at 15 thousand agl. Then flew towards the airport. Was hit by AA. Lost the engine, and glided down for several minutes to the runway, and was met by nothing. No awards, no nothing. That was the way the game ended. Nothing. Hence my 4 star rating. The game was fun, for a whole hour.. Had fun though. More more more, Thanks.

Quite good. I'm an amateur pilot (up for VFR certification soon), and I enjoy this game. It's the next best thing to a simulator, considering the iPhone/iPad format. I'd only ask for improvements in the "simulator" mode of...ahem...*more realistic* controls seems only to mean less responsive controls, not an improvement in the physics or flight engine. Would also like more levels: especially for those who spent the money on the full version. Anyway, bottom line: would I recommend the game? Yes. Do I find it perfect? No. Happy iPhone/iPad gaming! 😃

Well designed. Highly recommend this app. Even after playing all the levels in the missions sequence, just very entertaining to practice landing on carrier in the 3 different planes. Very nice detail and runs smoothly.

Fun but way too short. This game has incredible potential. The developers were definitely on the right track with the accuracy of the simulator portion. But apparently, the developers went to lunch one day in the middle of content development, and became disoriented and/or lost, and never found their app again. Because there is only one Campaign and if you have any previous simulator experience, you can finish the game in one evening sitting, sadly. Overall, very fun game, it just needs some extreme content expansion of they ever expect to attract any type of following.

Great game, but. I completed the whole game. It was fun. On the last segment(award ceremony) I was disappointed that after actually gliding to the base, I did not receive the end game reward. It does not exist. You are to ditch and are captured and then the game is done. If you spiral back to the ship or glide to base and dead stick the landing, the game doesn't know what to do. Overall, very good game.

Great Aviation Simulator!. This is a great flight Sim and offers lots of Challenging but rewarding missions. I only wish that you guys would add more areas to fly at and maybe a few more planes like the F4F "wildcat" or maybe even a few Japanese/German planes as well as a few more planes from different countries. Above all a great game and I definitely recommend that anyone into flying should download it

Bait & Switch?. The in-app purchase titled "Discovery" is coded with orange markers. In a right hand column the various missions, such as 'aircraft carrier landing,' etc., are also coded with orange markers. The assumption is that all items similarly coded are unlocked with purchase. However, for your $1.99 you are buying only one item - one mission. The remainder turn to blue markers upon purchase and are locked. At the least, what you are actually buying is unclear. Perhaps I was tricked, Ok, buyer beware. But I will never buy anything from this company again.

Revisiting after nearly 8+ years.. Still as fun as I imagined it would be however more missions to play would be great.

Plus and minus. They fixed the bug on one mission but put another bug in. Now the airbase is just a mud landing strip that doesn’t show up on the map. Heaven knows if they fixed the award ceremony where after evading being shot down I can land easily at the airbase after which the plane spontaneously accelerates backwards.

Unfinished work?. Fun game with great graphics. However very disappointed that it appears to not be complete. I was also able to land at the airfield on the last mission and nothing happens... No award, no mission completed message, nothing. You just sit on the runway until you exit out of the game. Bad way to end such a good game.

Good game, but needs more.... This is no doubt an awesome game, but I have some suggestions.(Also, as a side note, I can't get the game to work on my iPad but it works on my phone. Something I think would be great is more planes. Like maybe more countries' planes like the British spitfire. And battling other planes would be cool. Considering that this game is still in 1.0 makes it easy to say that it has a long way to go. Still awesome, but needs some more and these were just a few things that could be added in .

Bad Settings. Dude, you don’t get to use a joy stick and plus joy stick is a lot more easier than moving your device. I really want the developers to see this review and add an joy stick. I don’t want to move my device it’s a lot harder. Please, just do it.

Tiny critical detail from 5 emphatic stars!. The 3-D rendering, the simulation, the feel and wonderfully detailed environment are extraordinary. But my enjoyment is thwarted by the long distances and excessive time to the objectives. This is fine on the first mission attempt or so but in trying to succeed in the final, difficult task, usually landing, the needless wait to the last critical task is a boring waste of time that would be better spent playing this extraordinary game. An option in addition to "Restart" to resume at the same 30 second mark from which the replay was just recorded would make these games gems.

Great game. Overall this is an outstanding game. It would make sense to remove the HUD when you're flying without the cockpit, and the engine sounds need revamped. Please continue making new planes, new missions, and new games!

Fun to play. This is a well built game but crashes on the iPad mini. After restarting and unload and reloading it still crashes. Still fun to play. Just a pain to restart the game after it crashes... What is even worse is the lack of instruction on how to play. Un real flight model. In the end it is just a game and really not worth paying to play. The game is unrealistic in its operation the plane will fly, but not like a real plane flies

Best flight sim out there. Rortos di Simonetto is becoming a serious brand in the world of flying games and their new edition will not disappoint. F18 carrier landings and Air Navy fighters are also well worth the money, however the improved storyline here is a nice addition. Thank you for another great game and for continually improving the quality and content of all your apps.

Takes Patience. Very nice graphics. Not so complicated that it's frustrating (are you listening SG?). Getting past the "mark targets" phase is a challenge until you figure out the simple solution - and I ain't telling.

What an experience!. As a 30 year Navy Veteran, and pilot, I have flown single engine, multi engine, jet and rotary wing. This game is a Hoot! I'm enjoying it so much I'm having a hard time putting it down. This is a definite must as a flight simulator game. Well done!

Needs more action. This is a very cool flying game, nice graphics and the planes handle realistically, but there's not much to it besides taking off and landing. When do crash, you have to restart each level which includes 3 or 4 minutes of just flying, which gets old fast. I was looking for some Aerial combat, which would be awesome with this set up. It is a challenge landing these sometimes, just frustrating to have to wait to reach your destination to try again.

Glitch. My plane reverted from pulling it up it's supposed to go up but it goes again when I pull down it goes up also I would like it if you added a couple more aeroplanes like P 51 Mustang

More $, it makes the world go round. Game is fun to play. Like the changing and challenging weather in the landing competition. I restored this game from an older phone when I updated to iPhone 5C. It was working fine until I reset the game. After that it says I need to make a purchase before unlocking the landing competition! What? I liked this game so much that on the old phone I purchased the extra games. I don't mind purchasing the extra games once, but not again and again, maintenance fee!

Best flying game ever played!. The F4U Corsair has always been my favorite WWII Warbird. I was thrilled to get this game and fly my favorite plane. I still crash a lot, but I'm getting better. iPhone is fun, but I like playing on my iPad the most. Great game... Hey, do they make a joystick controller for my iPad yet? ;)

Very good but there's some problems. It's a great game but i would like it if there were more planes and the the dirt airstrip should be marked on the map but the worst thing is that the game frequently crashes. Anyways i got used to it but pls fix the game crash bug at least. Keep up the good work. You guys are great. Peace out.

Good game, inadequate instructions. I can't get past the second mission because there are no instructions on how to "select targets" and you have to do that in order to proceed. The game looks great but it's frustrating to have absolutely no idea how to get past mission #2.

Simulator of simulators. One of the best flight sims I have ever had the liberty of playing. The only things that I could suggest would be to have more planes from the era, more missions, and more controls for the simulator setting but all in all I love this app!

Great Simulation Game. I really loved the campaigns. I hated how the medal ceremony ended. I was able to land at the airbase a couple of times, but the game counter continued, game never ended until I finally hit the pause button. Should get something for successfully landing at the airbase.

Are you kidding me?. Only 3 simple missions and then you have to pay $0.99 for each additional mission. I would love to play more but I'm not paying for each mission. Even air navy gives you multiple missions, create your own missions and download missions. I'd give this 5 stars if came with more missions.

Great flight simulator.. Love the graphics and easy of the controls. I also noticed that the carrier you take off from is the USS Enterprise CV 6. The most combat decorated ship in US Navy history . Ecxellent choice of ship to use. I have just two request add more period aricraft and allow them to be used in freeflight. A good plane to start with would be either the P38 Lightning or the P51 Mustang.

More levels!!!!. I really love this game. I have all the rortos games but this is the only one I've spent money on! Only downside is that there should be more levels especially for those who have payed to get the full game. Please keep this in mind for future updates! Good luck with more awesome games like this.

Great iPhone flight game. This is a great flight simulator for the iPhone. Given the limited space on the phone, there are some features that this game has that is not expected such as flaps and air brakes.

Best game I’ve ever seen!!😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆. I love this game a lot and what makes it special to me is it has my favorite plane of all time, the F4U Corsair. But I do have some ideas. I think this game needs some more planes like the F6F Hellcat. Anyway this game is great keep updating it 👍

Planes. Okay, I really love this game. The only thing that could make it better was if there was some way that, after you pass each mission for the first time, that you could go back and play it with your choice of the three planes available. This would make me like the game even more; if it is possible please include this in an update. Thanks!

SCAM. Plane doesn’t land, just blows up. I tried all options following the instructions and plane blowed up. Then I tried all possible landing areas at the airbase and plane blowed up. Then I tried to land back on ship and plane blowed up. Then I flied to different areas of the map and tried to land on much better and convenient areas for landing and plane blowed up. I can assure you I can land supersonic jets. Bruh you don’t have to fool people to make them frustrated and buy missions in order to be able to land. - Just put a price on your app.

The Best Flying Sim Out. This game is the best all around flying combat game their is to get !related to the carrier F18 landing /Combat series the detail and flight engine is unbelievable from handling of the aircraft to the scenery the various camera views and screen rotating lets you see your aircraft from all angles and the replay of your landings or crashes lets you see where you went wrong. This game is top notch you gotta see it to believe it!!!!

Great game, but suggestions .... PLEASE DI AN UPDATE SO THAT IT DOES NOT SLOW DOWN NEW IPHONES. I love the game. I already finished it. I have some suggestions, A compass showing heading would be great, although not needed. It would be great if the plane could actually drop its own bombs, and perhaps strafe targets on the ground with machine guns. Also, I don't like that you first have to touch the controls to activate them on the screen. Sometimes I've had to touch it twice. It would be great if they were constantly active so we could just touch once. Especially the throttle, which you have to adjust as you land. The last mission, for those of us who safely landed on the water and were captured, is there a follow up to this? Thanks for such a great game.

Awesome game, poor campaign.. Graphics look great, except for the cockpit, which just looks terrible, controls feel too exact, and should feel more smoothed out. Otherwise, the campaign, which, after the second level, feels like "Follow Falconi!", which gets extremely frustrating as you can never exactly match his airspeed, and the distance you are allowed to get away from him is ridiculously small, and should instead, be based on sight line (if you can't see him, you have a timer to get back on track). Otherwise, great game.

Fun yet highly disappointed. I enjoyed the game so much that I wanted more. I paid the 1.99 to advance to the other planes. It was fun until I upgraded. Now the games turn off mid game...so frustrating. I don't even play

Great graphics. I really enjoy the features on this app., especially the various ways one can view the landings. The graphics are excellent, very detailed and the 3 - D effect is light years better than some other free downloads. Altogether very enjoyable! New review as of late 2018. I payed for an upgrade, to do nothing more than land planes on the carrier, which at my age (86) is a shakey proposition. A recent bug fix caused my upgrade to disappear. Very disappointed!!!

Phenomenal App. I've played many of the flight sims on the App Store and the folks at Rortos continue to have by far the best realism and yet fun playability. Can't recommend it enough - I'd pay way more than a dollar for this.

Outstanding WW II flight program!. Historical Landings is one of the best first-person flight programs/apps I've encountered to-date. Great graphics, realistic flight controls under full sim conditions, and accurately punishes poor decisions. Well done.

Best flying game ever on a mobile device but it needs more missions and airplanes from ww2. It is the best flying game on a mobile device it need more missions and ww2 airplanes like the p-40 and the p-38 Lightning and the b-17 Flying Fortress and the b-24 Flying Fortress could you please add these airplanes and add more missions in.

Great App. All we need now is guns on the plane and multiplayer perhaps p40, flying tiger, zero's, Messerschmitt, Stuka,and bombs to drop this simulator would be awesome create a black sheep squadron against kamikaze or German pilots if not this App maybe could please create an online app of this please

Good game. Great game...however on the last mission (award ceremony) to the airfield....I was hit and had to crash land....so the next time I played, I climbed to 15,000 feet and was still hit...but because of my altitude, I was able to glide all the way to the airfield...and after a successful landing, the game just continued because I outsmarted it....got to do better!

So I love this game but... This game is great the graphics are awesome and planes are great but the one issue I have is I can't play it the game throws me out every time I try to play. Can this please be fixed I have a iPhone 5s and I don't know if anyone else has this problem but I'm sure there are people.

Needs a compass.. Nice game, but needs some type of heading information. When landing on a carrier, you enter the 'break' directly over the ship and turn downwind to set up for a landing. Without heading info over water, it is impossible to establish a proper final approach. Heading info is a basic flight instrument and should be included. I am a former Navy carrier pilot and this is the best landing game to date, but no compass is a serious over site. Proper landing speed info in a help file for each type aircraft would also be nice.

Historical Landings. I have made some decent flights , and landings , and I have completely screwed the pooch on some, and maybe lost some air crew in the process. I even landed on a carrier , but my percentage of survivable carrier landings is probably 10% ! I will stay in the infantry ,oooorah !

Landed at Awards Ceremony. I was able to land the airplane on the final mission but received no award. Reason I believe is because Developer thought it could not be done. The way to do it is to take off keep full throttle and head out to sea climbing to 20,000 feet. You then fly parallel to the coast line...you should be about 13 miles off the coast. When you are parallel to the airport and still 13 miles out turn and head towards the airport. The engine will blow out but you are high enough to glide in. Dip to increase speed when necessary and slowly descend. You should be above 200 knots as you approach the field. Slow down using air brake and if need be the flaps. Approach the field at about 120 knots and decrease to 100 - softly land. You will find out that no one will approach the plane and give you any citation. By the way, this is a great game!

No support. Game crashes on startup after I brought it and their website offers no support.

Disappointing. It's disappointing that the free version gives only the most basic of campaigns, and a crappy landing in "free flight". Doesn't give a lot of incentive to spend any money when you don't get a decent go in the first place.

Enjoy playing until it crashes. Enjoy playing until it crashes in campaign mode, I have all your simulator apps this is the only one with stability issues. Hope this can be fixed to join your other great apps.

Good. This is a good game to play it is like the other plane simulators they have but they are old planes from the 2nd world war

Landing avenger aircraft. So far as I know no aircraft landing on ground or carrier bounces on its tail wheel when landing. Yet for some odd reason the tail will bounce when landing the Tbm. Most time it flips the whole plane right over. When in combat how do you return fire if you can’t? This game will not allow me to defend myself no matter what you attack. In other words I cannot proceed to the next level because I can’t take out enemy installations.. the most blatant is when you’re required to crash in the sea you always die. Why must you have to crash in the sea if you don’t have a chance of survival?

Discovery missions for free. Make it so that you’re able to use the discovery missions for free

The Ultimate Plane Game.. This is the best Sim that I have ever played. It's very challenging.

Challenging and fun. My son showed me the app so I put it on as a reward, been a lot of fun for all of us. Even the crashes are appropriate to how you messed up . Love the landing practice.

Fix the award ceremony final campaign mission!. Last mission is broken, nothing happens when you land at the objective or back on the carrier and if you ditch you get captured! Fix this, I paid money for this game!

Absolutely Brilliant. A wonderful game that keeps you interested for weeks/months. If you compare the time & cost (including enjoyment), of the app with time, cost & enjoyment of a cuppa coffee, you get full value, and the game lasts longer :) I tried many many other flight apps until I found the RIORTOS games. I have bought Historical Landings, Extreme Landings, Carrier Landings etc. The graphics and missions far outdo all others. Thanks for the games. Cheers, lycol137.

More landing options please. It is an excellent game. As a GA pilot, I find this very close to real scenarios. It would be great if the planes can be landed on any open field instead of crashing. At the moment, they can only be allowed to land on the assigned fields. Also, it would be more realistic if other aircrafts are injected into the scenarios to challenge the traffic awareness with traffic RT is transmitted to the player.

Review. Best simulator on a tablet device I have experienced. Great graphics, ok missions, and fun gameplay. All I want for this game is to include more aircraft in future updates.

Good game. This a good game. there are some better games though like x-plane. If u like fighter plane games get f18 carrier and air navy fighters. They have faster planes etc

Historical landings. Excellent addition to Rotos simulation stable. Any updates due yet..... Welcome their next project. Thank you guys. Prior to latest update , this was one of the best simulations. But since latest my version has become jerky and often stalls and freezes....any help please. George

Historical Landings. It is very, very disappointing that a wonderful application cannot be finished although I have completed all tasks for the Campaign: this app is much better than the F18 one and I strongly encourage the Developers to work on this. Believe me you are missing out on a great opportunity.. and also money. People are more interested in old style campaigns than new fangled so called modern technology. I have flown light aircraft for 35 years and believe me that is more fun than ultra fast jet planes!

campaign ???. So after working through the campaign, you are on your way to get your medal, your engine blows up (how ever you fly the plane) you land safely in the sea, you get captured THE END. What the hell is that all about ????? :(

The flap controls not responding. Please fix . This is my second request. I had similar take off problems until I realized and answered my very own question about what is the primary purpose of incorporating the use of flaps and do not really require for you to fly over 120 knots at a short distance without stalling your aircraft.

Too bad, there is no option for the ending. Interesting game but lack continuity and failed to celebrate the last mission even when I landed at the airport. It looks like the developers intended for a new version that never arrived. Disapointing.

Great and engaging game!!!. Totally recommended!!

Lacking. It needs a proper heading indicator. In order to fly circuits and make a controlled LANDING you need a runway heading and an instrument that tells you which way you are pointing, especially when looking around tends to lose you control of the airplane. The sim also needs a proper altimeter , not an above ground radar that changes as you make your approach.

It's awesome. It's an awesome game with realistic situations. The only thing I would say this game needs is more variety in the aircrafts section. Instead of 3 options for usable planes maybe add more like the spitfire and the Lancaster and others. Overall really great game

Inverted Controls. The control is inverted which i’m not used to. So why there is no option to change it??????

Pistons and Propellers... Not only does it have the same good graphics as 'F-18 Landing', but also includes a small story to be played out in campaign mode that's quite alright. Not as many aircraft as F-18, but just as enjoyable. A must try, if you prefer the sound of pistons and propellers. It too, has a landing competitions same as 'F-18 Landing' and the same controls. Looking forward to more add ons to this smooth app. Happy Flying!

Bro fist to da planes👊. My gosh it's super. It's hard to land but that adds realism! The graphics are EPIC and it even has realistic shadows. I got the campaign and it is totally worth it. I'm almost done the missions!!!!! I LOVE IT. Planes are my passion so I give FIVE STARS IN A HEARTBEAT. Way better than any other iPad game I've ever plays😃

Fun and challenging. Fun app worth a few $

Great App!!. This is a great app! It has nice graphics and good flight dynamics. Well worth the purchase!

Limited. Seems quite smooth and fluid but limited in use before they want money. I get the impression it will be a case of paying for each level and aircraft which will be e pensive so I will pass and go to bed to get screwed instead of it costing me a swack of cash

Great for free flight.. The missions are engaging and the free flight mode is a plus for the fun factor.

Excellent. Feels like your in another world. Great graphics & scenery puts you back in time. The only complaint is that I wish there were more instructions/help on certain missions, otherwise a great simulator for WWII.

Airport. It needs the World War II bases because we don’t have any bases so this game doesn’t make sense so can you please add bases. you need to add first person mode so that you can be a person and then you can have guns, intruders and intruders

Keeps veering of the runway for no reason. On the “escort falconi” part, I couldn’t takeoff no matter what. It went left, I tilted my iPad to the right. But after that, it suddenly went right like 15 degrees/s. When I tilted my iPad to the left, it just went more to the right. Deleted. Plz fix this.

AIRPORT. Ok so um you need to add the airport again because when I got my stuff I bought there was no airport.... plz add that back. Or this could be a glitch😅

Amazing!!! But.... It's my favourite game but there's an impossible Mission were I have to land on a dirt strip.

Impressive Simulation. This is an excellent sim with great scenery an challenging missions. I have not yet been able to figure out how to purchase the locked missions in the Discovery Campaign mission list.

Passable bordering on excellent. I have enjoyed this company's excellent apps, but find that this latest one falls beneath the standard of F18 Carrier Landing. Several of the aircraft are not as well made, and the carrier frankly is disgraceful. However the story is very good, and the engine is as always superb.

Completed. Loved the graphics. Was able to complete the awards ceremony mission....climb high and coast in. Don't get an award for completing it. Hoping in future versions the planes will get guns, etc. maybe a few dogfights?

Great Game. Very good graphics, several missions to play. Different aircraft make learning each one's parameters a must. Lots of fun learning the different tricky landings. If you manage to land at the awards ceremony you will not get the award!

Splendid Simulator. Wonderful simulator. Very realistic flight modes and sharp, detailed graphics. Missions do cost a tad extra, but it is well worth it. Would love to see additional missions, planes and air combat/dogfighting.

Great play but limited. Flew the campaign and was disappointed to find no other campaigns. Also, some flights are boring. 14 mile flights just to land on the carrier. Very cumbersome if you crash trying to land. You have to start the 14 miles all over again. Irritating after the excitement of the flight controls wears off.

Stupid ending. I was able to land at both the airport and back at the carrier on the final mission. However, the only way to complete the mission is to land on the water become a POW.

Cannot restore purchases. Got a new iPad, and it won’t allow me to restore my purchases to play the campaign.

It's Great But.... On level one when you are giving the spare parts to "your friend" when I'm almost there I explode and I watched the replay I couldn't see anything in my way. I think it is a bug, but it is still awesome!!

Great game. U guys should make a free whole version of the game cause sine people like me really like this game but I would also like to fly the other two planes

Rates 4.5 Stars!. This is a wonderfully realistic game, that I would rate 5 Stars if it would let us compete the final mission!😉 Please add on additional missions, ASAP, even if they have to be purchased separately!

Nice but.... ...Please fix that sudden "Pitch" that you get by surprise, that happens also on your F18 Carrier Landing program. It is such a nice program but that Pitch is annoying!!!, fix it please!!!

Love it.. I've had this game a few years now and still play is often.

fun , but...... get rid of the timer , give someone a chance to do a go-around if you blow the approach , or just to fly around at will . It’s challenging enough just to land properly . Otherwise a real fun game .

Realistic per navy pilot. My father flew several of these planes as a navy pilot in Korea and he greatly enjoyed watching me crash repeatedly before my first successful flattop landing. He was impressed with the realism. I heartily recommend it!

Great game more levels please. Great game more levels would be nice though from the time I bought it it only took a couple hours to beat it

Gemini56. Simply put, I love this game. But how about some air to air combat, bombing missions, the ability to land off strip without crashing and more missions. Are you EVER going to update this game or what?

Beautiful, when it works. This is a great sim, but it crashes literally every other time i play it, generally several minutes into a mission which is highly frustrating. I am on an iPad 2. Without that, it would be 5 stars.

A pleasure to play. smooth. I like the pencil option, and the different levels.

When does the next mission come out?. Great game with intuitive controls. Landing on grass strips as opposed to just the carrier and airbase is a nice touch. I would love to see air-to-air combat in the next missions

Frankvi. Totally addictive - the game runs flawlessly and it's five-star excitement on every level. Graphics are surprisingly realistic. If you like to fly and shootem-ups, this is the game. Keep upgrades coming.

Great game. It's a great game, but lately whenever I get ready to start a mission the game closes on me. Other then that it's one of the best games I've ever played

Why did I even download this!!!!!!!!!!!. First, the landing is highly inaccurate second, don’t even get me started on the crash mechanisms I mean come on third, on the free play it’s not even free play it’s missions forth, the models are not even how they look in real life fifth, I am %100 am positive that anyone should get this game sixth, Air Combat Pilot is a wwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better game than this pile of dang crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally!!!! A real flight sim that is as fun as detailed.. Ok, so some air to air would be fun but this is a great app if you are sitting around pretending to be Pappy Boyington or the like. Just plane fun!!!

Excellent. Excellent game. Allows beginners to learn and develop confidence then expand degree of difficulty and challenge. For more accomplished flyers, the game can be configured to keep one working and having fun.

Awesome. I think that they should make an on/off button and when you get hit by lightning you should loose control

Plane too sensitive. On landing, I came in for what I thought was a butter landing, but the whole plane bounced and crashed. Gameplay is fun, realistic, but sensitivity is horrible.

Really great game. I really enjoy this game the realistic flying controls adds extra challenge and fun a very difficult ratio to master.

Loved it. I am a pilot with several hundred hours combined fixed wing and helicopters. The game was challenging and fun. My grandson loves to fly with me working the landing gear and throttle. Does great for a toddler!! Thank you!

Awesome with exception. Graphics and controls are great. Need much more missions and air to air and air to ground combat missions. This would put this game on the very top and I would pay for this game, no problem!

I love this game. It's more than I expected. For anyone who likes airplane games, this is the game to get. Most ipad games are cheesy and horrible, this is really something different. Love it!

One of the best. The title says it all. The feel is fantastic. Never would have thought the touch controls could achieve such a realistic simulation of flight. Love this one.

No real ending-. Was able to complete game after reading suggestions on how to land without being captured- but looking for more- also agree with others that game needs to tighten the length of campaigns- overall good game

Will we ever see an Upgrade?. A great Sim for pilots of any age …But it seems like you guy’s forgot all about it…It desperately needs to be updated…

Historical landings review. historical landings is a fun game. i like the realisim it has but it has drawbacks. it lags about 50% of the time ( i used more than one device to test that) and shuts down when it becomes to much. not a good choice for those rage quiters out there. i give it a " meh " on a scale of justin bieber to awesome.

Needs more campaigns. You can make it through all campaigns fairly quickly. I’ve repeated it so many times that m getting bored with it.

Awesome game!. This game is awesome! One of the best I've ever played! I enjoy the gameplay, but the missions you have to pay for are the game's only downside. Other than that, this game rocks!

Awards ceremony. In this you are to attempt to land at base but due to engine failure you want us to splash down in water. I climbed to angels 10 and flew to base gliding landing safely? Is there opinions in this. In real life if you can make it then try it. Better than being captured.

Flying into an imaginary obtacle. When approaching to land at field 4 to retrieve the secret documents, you will often crash short of the field. The airplane hits an object that is not visible while in the air and falls to the ground. This is frustrating because you cannot see the obstacle to avoid it.

Love the flight Physics!. This is a great game to buy. Just get in the cockpit and fly around and land in a nearby field.

Good game, could be great. Good game, but it uses the processor and battery like a GPS app, heating up your phone and drastically reducing battery life. I don't really care for the dynamic camera view - too bad that can't be switched off.

Awesome💥. This game is very fun! Even if you can't get past campaign, free flight is amazing! So amazing it's better than bananas!🙊 But really it's very cool and the best game I have!

Great App. I loved the game just to short. Needed to have more dangers to make the flying challenging. I look forward to the future updates hope they come soon.

Don't waste you're money. So, I bought the game, its only landing but ok graphics are good I complete the mission and I fly back to the airbase to get my award and boom! I'm shot down no award, got to crash land in the ocean and get captured. Ok I'm smart, I fly high enough to get to the base even though my engine is shot, still no award. I want a refund. There's no way to win the game what a rip off.

Awesome. Great game. I'm not sure why all these newbs are trying to land at the airport on the final mission when it tells you to make a water landing. The awards ceremony was splendid. I won the airmans medal, bronze star, silver star, Purple Heart and medal of valor. I guess it pays to follow orders.

Wow I really like this game. Tons of fun. I like that it is not the usual stuff. This one is different and unique enough for an old world gamer to say I have something new here

Love to fly. If you like realistic flying games, this one is at the top of the list. Good graphics and plenty of missions to keep you busy.
