I would give zero stars if i could. Everything was going great. We were having fun designing our homes, making new projects, and all of a sudden I went to go check my settings and figured out that if you really want all the qualities you have to pay $400 a year. I was not paying such fee. These people are money hungry! I recommend you not to download this app unless you want to pay your whole bank account. I would give this app a zero star if I could, if the prices were lower, i would love this app. YOU should not be charging money to change from 2D to 3-D like $65 thats absurd !!!! Overall this app was pretty fun before I realized that there were so many fees. I recommend you guys lower the prices on this app. For the consumer, I recommend you to draw your own design on a piece of paper instead of doing this app because it cost $400 for all the benefits. I thought this game cost $32 for the year but it’s a scam just watch and see once you turn 3-D to 2-D after around 67 times see what happens.

Okay 😐. This is a fun game I will admit. But really? In the photos, it says you can change every detail. That led me too think that we could change colors and length of the furniture without paying. But once I got the game I realized you had to get the gold thing or whatever. This is a great game, but I really think that you should at least get too change the furniture colors. It’s also hard too add another room in the 2D. Sometimes the walls don’t connect and it glitches and you can’t really see the wallpaper on the walls. Also, why not add more people too the game? The ones that are there now are kind of creepy. I also think it should be easier to add another story. Once you add a story it’s hard too move the rooms around. Also, the stairs confused me. How do you make the hole in he ceiling too make it like they actually lead somewhere? This game honestly gave me a headache when I tried too figure out the controls. I don’t like this game as much as I though I would and I’m disappointed, please clarify the controls and make this game more exciting. Thank you! 😊

You have to PAY FOR IT??!!!?!💔😭🔥😡. Hello! I genuinely love home design/renovation apps, but this is ridiculous💔 I am still in my teens, and I wanted to make a future house plan, and since I am disabled and can’t walk, I wanted to make a handicap accessible house so when I move out, I know exactly what I need/want. But it didn’t say anywhere that you had to pay for the app. When I read the reviews, I thought they were talking about subscriptions and such. After it loaded in I picked the designs, the type of house, etc. then it said “we will send you a notification before your three day trial is complete” and I thought, “what the heck? It said it was free!” And my family doesn’t have that money to buy apps. Please fix this💔💔💔💔

Overpriced & Inaccurate. Would give it half a star if I could. I will never give a dime to this app. Even on the free version, the dimensions are extremely inaccurate, and there seems to be a glitch when you try to adjust the dimensions of furniture (any dimensions, height, width, ‘depth’, not to mention it should be length x width x height) that it defaults to .39 inches which is absolutely infuriating, and it doesn’t let you delete or adjust the numbers after it defaults to .39 inches unless you start all over and refresh the app (sometimes not even then, and you have to repeatedly hit the backspace button to even attempt to get it to the proper dimensions you want it to be ). The programming for this app is so unbelievably bad, I couldn’t imaging paying more than 3 cents for the features hidden behind an overpriced paywall. Overall it’s really not too bad for an ios app, but when you start to get into the specifics of things it starts to get quite a bit ridiculous and infuriating to say the least. Fix the glitches, fix the dimensions and it would be golden, even on the free plan.

If you want to USE THIS APP for FREE, READ THIS!!!. Once you finish designing your floor plan and want to put some furniture in there to see how it looks you probably have access to like 20% of all the options. But now, a week later, after lots of decorating and measuring and planning and remeasuring, half of the furniture I have is now only available if I have premium. Which means I can’t move it an inch because it’s a premium item. So my only choice is to delete it and try to find a replacement. Which is annoying… But the worst part is, now almost EVERY SINGLE piece of furniture is now premium only. Lights? 100% premium. Couches? There are 2 that I can choose from now and the 30 or so choices that used to be available for free are now premium only, along with 150 other premium only couches. I thought I had finally figured this app out. But now it wants me to pay $7.99 a week to move my couch one inch over after spending hours designing the renovations for my basement I’m planning on doing. So don’t waste your time unless you’re willing to lose everything in a week or two and be forced to start on a new app, or pay the $7.99 for features that were free when you learned everything. If I could go back I would’ve found a different app from the start. BUT! If you don’t mind paying, this app was okay once I figured out how to use it. It’s just frustrating to be FORCED into buying it or basically having the HOURS I’ve spent on my floor plans locked from any changes.

Wow. I think that your game is very good and I think that it is a good game for everybody who enjoys designing, it’s not like most games where you have to do puzzles it’s very calming and you can just create. I think that it is great for designers and people who need to use this app for floorplan. One thing that does catch my attention is the fact that you have to pay to get a lot of the stuff and I think that it would be easier if more of the patio and at least one of the things from each of the catalogs were available. I also think that’s a horrendous price to pay for monthly and yearly subscription, I’m writing this review the day I got the app and I hope that this is helpful for anybody else who is thinking about downloading this app again I just wanted to say this is a great app but I think that that is something that you should change about it also, it’s a little hard to get the staircase to work right on the app. It’s a little bit confusing, but I think that I’ve almost got it figured out. Thank you for making this app.

Amazing app but a few issues.. This is one of my favorite apps! I have spent so much time on it and absolutely love it! I have created countless homes and spaces, but, there are a few things that have been a bit odd in my phone with this app. Firstly, when trying to switch to 3D, the screen often turns black. I am not sure why? This is not a huge issue but I do have to restart the app a lot because of it. Secondly, I had to delete the app for a few days (I have the monthly subscription) and when I decided to get it back, I cannot use my monthly subscription! I tried to rebuy it but then it says I can’t, because I already have it- even though I can’t activate it! I have tried everything I can find, including restore, and nothing has changed. If anyone knows or has had this happen, please let me know! Thank you, I love this app!

Apps limited to what you can do. Downloaded this app to help with remodeling my home, app works great if you want to get a ball park idea of what your design will look like. I hate that the items In The app are very limited like the variety of stuff you can pick from and a lot of home stuff is missing completely on the list I paid for premium service and not happy with it also I’ve wasted all my renders trying to learn to use the app and clicking the render button and exiting out of render when you didn’t mean to click it they count that as a render when you didn’t even use it really I don’t like that for the most part app is easy to use once you play with it I feel the app has a lot of potential but more things need to be added to list to choose from and they really need to fix the render stuff so ppl don’t accidentally click it and waste renders as I did feel once they fix that and add more items to the list to customize with then I could raise my review

Cool but not cool. I really like the game but when I saw the ads I was amazed soooooo I thought that I can make a house like that I downloaded it I’m making my 4th house and I know how to use the app sooo the game is really really fun and cool and good but I want more kitchen stuff and I DEFINITELY DONT LIKE HOW YOU HAVE TO WAIT THE NEXT DAY OR WATCH AN AD EVERY MINUTE SO YOU CAN GET AN REWARD THING SO YOU CAN UNLOCK SOMETHING AND IT WILL STAY WITH YOU FOR 72 FREAKING HOURS SOOOOOOOOOOOO IF YOUR VERY VERY PICKY ABOUT ADS DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME AND WHEN I UNLOKED SOMETHING, THE NEXT WEEK I THOUGHT THAT I STILL HAD THE ITEM BUT NAHHHHHHHHHH THEY JUST WANT MONEY THATS WHY ITS ONLY STAYING WITH YOU FOR 72 FREAKING HOURS, SO THATS WHEN YOU GET THE ITEM AGAIN BY WATCHING ADS OR WAITING THE NEXT DAY SO THATS HOW THEY GET MONEY BY US WATCHING ADS BUT NOW I ALREADY GOT USED TO THE GAME ( some how idk how 😕🤨🧐) AND JUST WARNING YALL IF YOU ARE REALLY REALLY PICKY ABOUT ADS AND THEY JUST WANT MONEY LIKE AGAIN IDK HOW I GOT USED TO THE GAME SO I AM BASICALLY HELPING THEM GET MONEY ( I am really really stupid I have noooo idea why I am doing this for them 😭😭😭) but yeah do not download wayyyyy to much ads and that’s my opinion. I’m surprised to say I’m addicted to this. I’m a writer, and part of my process is to draw up floor plans of the buildings and homes in my stories. Before, I would just scribble something out on paper, which was okay. I saw this in an ad on Facebook, and decided, eh, why not? I started with the free version, which was enough for me to get an idea of how to use the app. Once I got bored with the extremely limited selection (you can’t change size or colors in the free version) I bit the bullet. I decided to get the one month, $5 subscription, just to see if I liked it. I have since spent four hours or more a day building houses and picking out furniture. I’ve gone ahead and purchased the $19 yearly subscription. This thing is great. However, there’s a small thing keeping this from being perfect. Switching from 2D to 3D sometimes results in an app crash or black screen that I have to close and restart the app to get rid of. Beyond that, I haven’t had a single problem with this. Update: I can’t remember when I originally wrote this review but I know it’s been a few years. I still absolutely love this app, and I’m bumping my rating up to five stars from four. The crashing issue I mentioned above no longer happens, and I’ve had no problems with the way the app works. I do have two ideas for improvement or new features: - it would be great if I could highlight an entire room and rotate it (and everything inside) on an axis like we can with furniture, or at least in 90 degree increments. It’s incredibly frustrating to spend upwards of two hours on a room and it’s furniture only to realize that you placed everything backwards, and take an additional couple of hours to rebuild it. - it would be a huge time saver and be much more efficient if you could copy a room with the items inside it. Rooms like dorms, bathrooms or classrooms would be a prime example of what this could help with.

Free items through videos. If I could give this a zero stars I would. However, this is still a good app so I’ll keep it a one. Anyway, the version I have after I first sent a review saying that I couldn’t get any items/objects after watching a video. What I meant by that was that any time I tried to use the rewards for an item/object I wouldn’t be able to use that object because it was still locked. And as you know it’s because you have to pay a subscription fee to have everything available to use. I am young, as in I don’t have my own house or anything that belongs to me, not through my parents. I cannot pay a subscription fee because even though I have a job and it’s a ripoff to pay a subscription fee because I'm underage. Please, I want to be able to pursue a career of some sort in this business and it’s incredibly difficult to do that if a can’t do anything in this app to make my ideas “realistic.” Please just give me back the video rewards and maybe fix something going wrong with the coding of the rewards, it could also be my phone and I might need to update it, if it isn’t my phone please try to do something. I don’t mean to sound rude or be a “Karen” I’m just tired of this happening over an over again. Thank you.

Unlocked but not customizable. The only big issue I have with this app is that they give you “unlocked” items for free, but you still cannot customize them at all. You can’t change the size, shape or color. Free and unlocked should mean just that. There is also little to no opportunity to earn the ability to unlock items via watching advertisements, sharing with friends etc. Other then that it is decent. ... I recently sent this email to their tech support. Still waiting for a response. Design/Operations Specialist, I received an offer to unlocked premium items for 72 hours. Since there is no decent free roof available for free, I used my free item to choose a roof. Unfortunately when the 72 hours is up, I noticed that obviously I can’t customize these items, but now I can’t even delete them to get them out of the way so I can continue working on my interior design. Aka (the roof is in the was during 2D mode so I can’t properly rotate furniture, add rooms, change walls etc. Please fix this issue ASAP so I can continue working on my homes.

While app has potential, devs’ subscription hard-sell never stops. App developers deserve to be paid for the tools and software they make and we need: no question. But as a trial user of this app—particularly those of us who opt into an ultra brief free trial to see if the app is worth buying/subscribing—I found myself spending more time declining popups pushing annual subs for Planner 5D, trying to do something with the app only to be diverted to a subscription tier selection screen… …maybe 85% of the first couple hours trying to see if this is an app I want to buy/subscribe to, instead of trying out features, I was trying to escape an endless array of upsells, purchase redirects, and nothing to do with letting me learn if this app is worth buying. Which I think it might be. I just get turned off by the hard sell. (It also crashes frequently on a brand new iPad Air M3 (latest OS, 200GB free space, no other problems with apps from Adobe, Microsoft, Canva, Pixelmator, etc)

Barely usable for any real purpose. If you’re playing around and want to generate fun little pictures of your dream home… Go for it. It’s pretty. For any other useful application… This app misses the mark. It’s not really a tool, more of a game. First, the only way to create a floor plan from scratch is to draw it. With your finger. No dimensions can be edited. If you mess up, delete it and try again. And again. But it gets worse… The displayed dimensions as you draw aren’t real. It mysteriously subtracts inches once you’ve made one wall. And somehow… Two parallel sides of a perfect rectangle… are not the same length! It’s constantly changing dimensions on you as you continue, making it impossible to guess what the final dimensions will be. And don’t forget! You can’t edit anything! Lift that finger off the screen, and you are set in stone forever. You also can’t enter your own dimensions for furniture or any interior design things. You’re limited to whatever the catalog has and their sizes. I could go on, but it’s pretty obvious this app was created to be more of a game than any sort of useful tool. If you’re just looking to play around and design a “dream Home,” it may work for you. On the other hand, if you are actually trying to plan how to use your current space, explore changing furniture around, sketch out a remodel, or envision how you’ll furnish a new home or apartment.. this app won’t do any of that.

Bummer.. I understand that these sorts of apps want to force users to purchase an expensive subscription to use the app in its fullness, however it's deeply irritating that they're not offering a one-time option to pay to be able to move your designs around. I was excited about coming back to this app after working on one small project, only to find it was essentially useless unless I paid $10 a month, which is a hard pass. Locking only some things in place is just tacky and frustrating for your users, and I think it leaves a sour taste in most people's mouths, and makes me not feel inclined to come back to the paid version even if I did want to seriously use it for a month or two. I'd pay $5 or $10 one time to be able to continue to use the trial version indefinitely – so maybe consider a more accessible option for casual users, and continue to hold the furniture and decor options behind a subscription wall. This app isn't incredible, but the 3D navigation works pretty well and overall it's easy to use to do basic conceptualization of a space and potential furniture placement. Just fully not worth the subscription price or the hassle.

Great, but some issues. I love this app and use it every single day. I do have some issues with it though. You should be able to delete unwanted textures instead of having to pay for more. Especially when the app does not allow you to view the texture before you upload it. The web version, however, does allow it. Going between the web version and the app always causes issues in my designs. Some items are only available online so they just don’t show up in the designs on the app. Trying to create an exterior with character (or anything with character) glitches and messes up the heights and levels of items. Trying to build something like a front porch or built in shelving is very hard and often ends up messing up the levels of the home. This app is really really great if you want to just do basic room designs.

What have you done?!. I have had this app for about 5 years; I don’t remember how much it cost, but it been worth every penny to me. I’ve enjoyed it almost daily. I actually designed my home using this program and it’s at the architect at this very moment getting an official rendering. I casually updated the app tonight as I’ve done numerous times before and am horrified! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! Almost all of the doors and openings in all my plans are messed up, going the wrong way, and will not even go to where they were/supposed to be if I try to fix them. There is also absolutely NO REASON the doors and other items should be so sensitive to sizing changes with a light touch one way or the other. If you are planning for a 30 inch door (plus 4 inch trim on each side) for a total of 38 inches, for example, it is very important that it stays that way. But if you try to move something it’s way too easy to change the size on the object and then you don’t know what size you have it at. This is annoying and ridiculous, frankly. I am so disappointed in this latest update. Is there a way to get all my years’ worth of plans fixed right? Or even better, get my app back to the way it was before the update? I was using it just today...all fine and great...updated it...DISASTER!

For playing around, not for serious planning. Did the 3 day trial. I am building an ADU and wanted to use for furniture placement and palette. It is not intuitive. Setting up the basic room dimensions was easy but after that, not so much. When placing windows and doors, there is no automatic ruler to show you where on the wall you are placing them. You must find the ruler in the menus and use it to measure with after you have inserted the door or window. This is tedious. I could not find a help menu for anything. There is limited materials (textures, patterns etc). I think the least helpful item was the paint tool. For the life of me, for example, I could not get a white wood wall even when painting it white. It always ended up beige. You can get the gist of a palette but still are left guessing. So, if you like playing around, it is hours of that. However, if you are seriously planning, the $70/year price is way too much.

Amazing!. This is a great and easy to use app. The new updates are helpful because the furniture is classified into more specific sections. But I wish there was more furniture unlocked... or at least let the already unlocked furniture be edited! But I think that it’s fair either way. All you need to do is watch an add and then you can unlock items. But that was just a suggestion. ✌️👅😻 Emotions for this app... -🤗 -😃😃 -✌️ -😻. Also you can go on planner 5D’s website to see other people’s projects and comment on them. The only bad thong about this website it that there is some rude users. Just be aware pf that and report any inappropriate behavior. But there is tons of nice folks who are always giving amazing feedback. Find me on the website & its_the_OG_designer_! Deceitful Business Practice. I downloaded the app to begin the free trial. I was not able to get any results from the all and during this time the app froze or displayed an error message. It did not allow me to use any of the functions that were supposedly available within the app. I canceled my subscription prior to the 3-day trial. I tried one last time on day 3 to get the app to work, and while inside of the app, I received a star review request and provided my opinion on the app and how it was not functioning properly. I immediately received a request from a technician to help me with the error messages, and freezing on the app. I provided screenshots and documentation supporting my complaints. I then received a chat request from the technician, asking me to delete and re-install the app. This caused the renewal of my subscription, and I was charged for the full amount of the subscription even though the app does not work for me. I asked for a refund via the app chat and was told they could not refund my money.

I love this app, but recently crashes. I have been using Planner 5D for years and have absolutely loved it. There are a few things that are janky, room lengths not lining up to one another quite right, doors auto locking on a wall that makes them impossible to stick to short walls, the inability to customize the height of different rooms in the multi level views without the whole level above being elevated creating a gap in the floors, but it still worked well for me. I got the upgrade long ago for the catalog and it greatly expanded my options in app. However as of yesterday I am unable to open the app and it keeps crashing on me. I’ve updated to the newest IOS option and no luck. I’m not sure if the app is getting too complicated where it just can’t function correctly anymore or what, as I have had problems with it lagging badly more recently. Please don’t try to fix something that isn’t broken. Maybe work on improving pre existing features in the app instead of trying to change the fundamentals of its functionality? Otherwise longtime fan, I just want to be able to make my ideas. I hope the crashing is remedied soon, thanks.

Super great and unique! 1 suggestion. I bought this app AGES ago! Redownloaded it recently (now that I have a phone with space on it) and it's just as I remember. Which is good, but controlling the room sizes can be difficult at times. It's a bit of a learning process that drags on creation, in my opinion. One thing I would absolutely love to see is the ability to upload a reference sheet to it! Recreating floor plans from apartments or homes and that way we can get a better idea on how to decorate them. The reference sheet needs to be resizable and on a different layer than the floor plan you're creating. That way, a 1:1 replica is that much easier. This is purely for people looking to buy a home or apartment and they want a better 3D look at what they're getting into and what furniture will fit inside. I really hope work is still being done to the app and this gets considered! Thanks!!

Almost really good. It’s simple to use but sometimes switching from 2D to 3D things you put outside just disappear like the concrete walkways or if it’s not that it will be something els. sometimes when you Click an interior wall it won’t select the wall I’m trying to click. I’m still going to pay the high price of this app only because how fast and simple it is to use. But it crazy that for the high price you pay for this app you still have to pay extra for the better quality views/pics. Everything should be included for the customer after paying this price. It’s also crazy that after purchasing you have to pay this again after a year because it expires. Small improvements and pleasing small requests could easily put this app at the top of all house building and exterior and interior design apps. $75 with all furniture included, best graphics and room lighting included and paid furniture and not having to re-buy after purchasing already would easily give this app a 5 star rating and more purchase by customers.

Refund. Got to looking at the reviews after I reversed the transaction on my bank because i was denied a refund. Just so happens it all appears to be around the same reason. For me it was , here’s a 3 day free trial and we’ll send you a reminder for whether or not you want to keep it or get rid of the subscription but if you fail to unsubscribe it will be 6$ a month. I was like “ okay , if I forget or don’t see the reminder that’s okay”. Well I didn’t get the reminder and instead of the monthly charge I was charged for a YEAR subscription when that wasn’t even an option during the trial setup. Then Apple refused to refund my money when I stated this and told them what had taken place. I did not use the app past the trial period and even within the trial period I used it 3 times. On my request for disputing the ruling for the first refund request I said if I was refunded by Apple that I would not write a review and go about my day if I got my money. Well you forced me to get it back the hard way and now the world can see how this app is false advertising and stealing peoples money and Apple is okay with it. The app works as shown but DO NOT trust it and unsubscribe EARLY or you’ll end up like me.

Ummmm...... So I this app after reading reviews. They were all good but when I downloaded the app it seemed pretty good. I got to building and none of the walls lined up. The walls are very very confusing. And so I say whatever and I go to furniture, they had 2 selections of FREE items and the rest you had to pay $14+ for. I found this kinda ridiculous, so I say whatever again, and I go to doors. They had in total maybe 6 doors? And only 2 were free and they where ugly cheap looking doors, and the ones you had to pay for were so beautiful. This was the same with all of their items. This app is “free” for low quality items. The graphics seemed okay to me. I got no ads at all. But I found it so ridiculous the fact all of the free items were cheap looking and the $14+ ones were soo beautiful. I’m leaving a 3 star because in total the app seems good with graphics and all, but the utems were awful! Also with the fences You get a small strip with a pole at the end that when you press “edit” it says “OOPS! You unlocked a premium feature!” So your telling me I get this sad excuse of a “fence” and can’t even expand the length so if I’m building a yard it had to be teeny-tiny!? I would NOT suggest this app.

Acad Addict. I’ve been using Planner 5D for over eight months now for renovation ideas that I have for several properties that I do staging for as well as I am in the process of purchasing my first big family home and I’m finding it incredibly useful for designing my ideas to share with architects. It’s so user friendly. However if you, if you are reworking in real life project and you don’t have the precise measurements of the home it could be difficult to replicate exactly what you’re looking for. As long as you know the square footage is of each space in question, you are golden. I also love that I can add my own textures and upload different flooring ideas that I have from the Internet and see what it would look like. On its own it has so many options and customizations that makes it much easier for you to bring your vision to life.I love planner 5D.

Useless. This app is completely overrated. AI is good for nothing but waste your time. Gives you extensive ideas and makes it seem like it understands you, suggests changes and in the end literally only says it does not have permission to do modifications, create walls, add objects like doors or windows. So you try to do it manually and the app itself has no ideal way to place doors windows or objects at exact distance from walls etc. It seems like it tried to "override" permissions to help but ends up doing nothing but waste your time. Trying to create rooms from scratch is a total nightmare. From "Sketch" it does not allow you to edit measurements you do it by moving your finger across the screen. And after minutes of trying to get a single line to a desired measurement, making the next line literally changes the previous lines dimensions. It has no ability to render exterior from existing images apparently only kitchen, rooms and restrooms. I payed for the whole year subscription and it is absolutely useless! I can't imagine how much worse the "free" version is. Even worse! The $400 supposed premium package? This app is absolutely trash. (Unless the developers fix absolutely every aspect of it.)

Difficult to use + poor customer service. To start: I accidentally signed up for the year membership and paid $65 dollars, and when I reached out to customer service asking to please change my plan to the monthly one (I only need this app for 1 month) they said they are unable to do so because there is no feature available to change your subscription. I call BS on this one, because if you can design an app like this, surely you can add a feature to change people’s memberships. There is no way to change your membership on your end, and apparently no way for them to change this on their end. Secondly, the app is hard to use, and is not very intuitive. In order to add any item into the room you’re designing, you need to scroll through hundreds of examples without a way to search. Every time you place an item, you must scroll back through those hundreds of examples in order to find a matching set. It is very tedious, and in my opinion not worth it. Much better to just buy SketchUp.

Don’t waste your time or money!. This app is limited and glitchy! They love to proclaim this app as being for professionals and they charge a very hefty price to use it past its very basic features. They spam you to use free features and gamify it so you can win free items, those item use to be yours for life but have since changed that so they only last 72 hours. Afterwards those items can’t be used, edited, moved or deleted. So you have a chair or a window, maybe a door that you can never move or delete unless you pay them more money. Glitches, items that are suppose to render with a wood texture appear just white or sometimes black. Walls will disappear depending on the mode in which you view them. Tired and other objects lose their texture and color and appear in random textures. Windows and doors will move to the edge of the room randomly, when you open a project. Projects are limited. You are limited to the number of floors your building can be and the size and space that building can take up. The more details you add the slower the project becomes until it’s unusable. You cannot curve walls, and walls do not snap to the corner when creating a room. There are no global setting to make all ways a certain height or thickness, each wall or room must be edit individually The list goes on, the app is horrible, customer service is rude and the company is greedy and only care about your subscription price! Run!

Issues too often. They started with a great platform, formed after homestyler but they mess up more than they fix and when you chat to advise; they want screenshots and screen recordings etc. I feel like I’m doing more work than they are. Their customer service doesn’t know much about it and it’s seems pretty obvious that they don’t use their own platform. It takes so long to fix it … when they do. The last few issues took over a year to fix. When you have a platform, you really need to fix issues on it and they don’t seem to care about fixing bugs and issues. It’s all about making money and I’m doubting that they’ve hired enough people needed to keep it up to par. I enjoy their Design Battle and was going to purchase their architectural side but when they kept ignoring issues requiring fixes; too many…. decided it’s not worth it. The free stuff and Design Battle is bait but when you STILL can’t just simply set a set of stairs in place without having to spend hours tweaking it; it’s just not for me and you can’t really make blue prints with this platform because of those “tweaks” and for the lack of correct forms and connections. Don’t even get me started on roofs!!!

OVER PRICED TRASH BEWARE!. Starting out this app was cool but it’s gonna through so many “updates” that continually make this the most useless app on my phone. If this works with AI IDK what type of AI it is but has ZERO COMPRESSION interior design, or even how basic furniture works in regards to other pieces of furniture. The latest frustration that I don’t have the patience to work out after spending seven hours on trying to get this stupid app to understand how window placement works. It has to be attached actually to the wall. This app doesn’t understand that. Now it is placing, which it did not do before, table lamps under the table. You drag it to I have never even seen crack, houses put table lamps under the table. I have never had an app so gradually, then suddenly become the biggest disappointment- the absolute insult to injury is I actually paid for this. And as expected this company has no interest in refunding the money for the months. I absolutely will not torture myself through trying to use this trash of an app. how do you asked me a year ago or had I left a review a year ago? It would’ve been a rave review. The updates, which I would assume as a consumer would be intended to make things easier has made it into a migraine.

DO NOT Confirm trial period. I wanted to try this app to see if it was what I needed. I saw that there was a free trial period before a month subscription. I confirmed the purchase to experience the features and planned to use the app for about a month or two if it was what I needed for floor plans. I was going to cancel during the free trial period if it was not what needed and find another app. I found the app very difficult to use and just wanted a simple floor plan creator to design a building in working on. As soon as I clicked confirm, I got charged for an entire month without a free trial period. I hoped the app would be useful but it was not and I found another program to use within about 30 minutes. I tried to get a refund which I submitted within a few hours of them charging me. Apple refused the refund. I submitted more info explaining that the app said I would get a free trial period and that it charged me a month immediately. They still refused to refund me the money for the month subscription. So now I have an app that I don’t need that cost me 20 dollars. DO NOT BUY!

The best customer service!. Huge appreciation for their customer service, probably the best for any app I’ve used. Had an issue a few days ago, dropped a note into the chat and received a response within 15 minutes. I checked in over the next few days several times and each time, someone responded immediately with helpful information, and ultimately they pinned down the issue. I’m using the app for a new cabin build and I’m more interested in the use of space than I am in interior design. In most ways the app has been simple and straightforward to use. Some tasks have been a bit more challenging, like roof design, but they do have helpful video tutorials for a lot of elements, including roof design. Overall, it’s been an incredibly helpful app for seeing what the cabin is going to look like without getting mired in a steep learning curve. Thanks!

My go to app for story building. I’ve been using Planner 5D for at least 5 years and it’s aged like a fine wine, only ever adding more and never taking away. There are a few bugs such as; Duplicated items sometimes “disappearing” in 2D view. But they’re a very minor inconvenience in the big scheme of things. And I mean BIG, graph sizes that allow you to make giant buildings (Castle, mall, school) width and length wise for now. It’s currently limited to how high you can go and there are no sub floors. I have more than 20 saved blueprints and as far as I know there’s no cap. Every time I come up with a new story idea that I’m kean on I whip up a quick floor plan for the main characters apartments/ houses for locational reasons so I can give a clear 360 viewpoint in my writing. You can change the color/texture of practically anything placeable to give it unique characteristics. I love being able to make where my fictional characters live and their settings. The catalog of placable items grows every year. I’m personally hoping for an animal update that includes new animals and some enclosures. Five stars for the most affordable world builder I could find that works on iPhone.

Terrible. I hated this. I thought i would be a lot easier to figure out, but it wasn’t. It was really hard to understand how to play, how to move, and how to move items. Whenever i tried to place an item on the desk i had in one of the rooms, it would always just float in the air. I tried every possible solution, but it didn’t move. Another thing that i didn’t like was that when it was loading to go from 2d to 3d or 3d to 2d it took most of the time 2 minutes, but sometimes it took 5 minutes. I checked my other apps to see how fast they were going because i thought “maybe it isn’t the game, the wifi’s just acting up”. Turns out it wasn’t the wifi. A lot of the time when it was loading, (usually when i had finished something i really liked) it would take me back to my home screen and not save it. I had to start over many times on many things. Another thing is, it doesn’t explain anything. It just sends you off hoping you that you know what you’re doing. Lastly, after i had finished picking the size for the room i was about to start, there was no way to display t with my house. I was stuck on that screen for a while, until it kicked me off the game. To sum it all up, i hate this game and will never play it again

Drains battery but nice app. Honestly it’s a really nice app. I don’t have a problem with app transactions so after using it a week and deciding it was worth it I bought the months subscription and it unlocked a LOT more fun. Well worth the five bucks. If I continue to use it often enough I’ll probably purchase the lifetime one. Who knows Pros: Looks beautiful, lots of fun with unlimited possibilities. You can do so much with it. Even if you stick with the simpler options in the free category. Create as many houses as you want and do whatever you want with them and furnish them however you want. Cons: can be super tricky learning curve as far as getting things where they’re supposed to be and looking nice. It’ll take time but if you have it you can create some amazing products. Biggest con: IT DRAINS BATTERY TO NO TOMORROW! It uses 75% of battery life. Meaning if I use this app on airplane mode with every single app closed out and screen dimmed down, hooked to a full charger and whatnot, it will drain battery faster then I’ve ever seen and will take my entire battery life I. The span of 4-5 hours. Nasty. So use with caution!! I’d love love a bug fix on the battery drain!! After spending hours and hours on it and wondering what was up, I can now only use it for short bursts of time. :(

Needs Some Work. I have had barely, BARELY, any fun or excitements of this game since I’ve gotten it. I can’t put the roof on. I can barley move to the place I want things or where I want to go and I wish you were just like on the ground not all zoomy zoomy, it doesnt make it any cooler or better. There’s not a lot of options available and you expect us to pay for so thing that’s not real, that we can’t feel? When I first got the game(your lucky I still have it but it won’t last long)I was hoping to create my dream home which isn’t really much but still I couldn’t make it and do you know why? Because I’m not able to work it and other things I’ve already said I don’t thing I will have to type them again. And I still have this game and do you know why? It’s because I love the idea of the game and the construction of hoping to make your dream home and show it to your parents or friends and show them, I think I have a good life ahead of me. Also, I have this game because I believe the makers can improve the game make it easier and I’m not deleting this game until they make good improvements but if they make the wrong move I’m shutting the game off my phone. I believed that this game would be satisfying to finally be able to build my dream home in a better way for me but it’s not it’s just SOOOO STRESSFUL🥺😭😓😥😡and when I can’t put the roof down or put a book in place, do you know what I want to do? Well you don’t because your not me but your about to find out. It makes me want to reach into the center of my phone and crush it!😡Nothing I would ever do and only for a GOOD reason. Glitchy and Horrible Customer Service. UPDATE AT BOTTOM. 0/5 stars. I wanted to love this app but it was glitchy and bogged down my entire phone. My phone is new and never had any issues before I used this app. Anytime you try to move a piece of furniture or wall it does not respond as if you haven’t touched anything, and then 30 seconds later will appear somewhere else in your design. My phone was not responding in the same way after I closed the app for a minute after. I even restarted and redownloaded the app with no luck of a fix. I cancelled my trial and was still charged 60$. After reaching out to customer service 3 times through the app and email, no one has been able to help me. They keep directing me to different people and make me jump through hoops and keep avoiding the topic of a refund. Im so disappointed and upset that I paid 60$ for a crappy app I will never use. 0 stars. UPDATE: once again, they contacted me in response to my review stating that I can contact them for a refund which I have already done multiple times with NO HELP. What’s the point of customer service if no one will help?

Amazing app but inconsistent and expensive subscription options. I’ve used Planner 5D for years and it’s been amazing as an amateur interior designer with a small budget that can’t afford Sketchup. Obviously it doesn’t do everything as precisely as Sketchup and your options are limited, but it’s pretty close. I love how user friendly it is as well. And customer service is excellent every time which is refreshing. However, the subscriptions are all over the place. The price changes a lot and the billing method is never the same. I originally had a lifetime subscription for it for a few years…but I just recently learned I’m now being charged monthly for premium and it’s close to double the original price when I first started using it. Also, $400 per year for Pro is absolutely ridiculous so I’ll be sticking with premium and accepting that I’m missing out on several features. Other than that, it’s great despite inconsistent graphics between different devices. Graphics are slightly more realistic on Mac/PC than on mobile.

Useful Interior Design for Home Use. Updated from my original review. The App does feature ability to synchronize across multiple devices, which gave me cloud backup and the ability to share with my wife. With that present, the other issues below are minor nuisances and Planner5D has been one of the most useful and enjoyable purchases I’ve ever made from the App Store. If you are remodeling, building, or even just organizing your spaces, I strongly endorse this as a great tool. Planner 5D has been extremely useful in planning the interior design on a new home I’m having designed and built. Rather than spend hours at $100/hour with a designer working on the actual architectural model, I have created a high fidelity to-scale model of the home design, which allows me to make design decisions and even fit spaces to my existing furniture. It’s pretty easy to use, though does have some significant limitations. My greatest complaint is the lack of ability to import designs into the app, which is essential to sharing a design between my wife and I. The app will export to a web interface of a cloud version of your app design, but it’s one directional, out only. Other complaints range from moderate to mild, such as the snap function for walls is too strong which prevents creating some small size designs effectively, only one object can be moved or copied at a time which is tedious, and you cannot copy items from one level to another so if you plan to try your furniture upstairs and downstairs you have to create your furniture twice. It also has a random array of design objects, such as so many chair designs that it’s challenging to find the same one twice, while there is no feature for a doorway opening between rooms that does either have an actual door or an arch shape. These limitations aside, I considered it worth the $59 for my purposes.

*sigh*. I know, I know, it’s a great app. All the home designs, furniture, characters, you name it. I loved (I used it only earlier) using it because like I said, it’s awesome. Maybe not. (Hate to break it to you developers) I don’t like to use it anymore. Reason is, I can’t edit as much as I want. 😔 it’s a free country c’mon. I don’t like those sorts of limits. Usually, I just jumped to Planner 5D and started editing. One day, I just started making a huge house with a Dj party (not really) kinda and the guess what... I. Ran. Out. Of. Editing. They limited me. I mean, I don’t feel mad, I just fell disappointed. I feel like being mad is just a waste of time. Like bruh. I’m kinda but not really complaining. I hope you guys fix that limit and give. Me. FREEDOM. I want to edit more. Then, I would defiantly give you guys 5 stars but you haven’t reached the climax. You are still improving (hopefully) so plz improve. Plz.

I am so happy!. For the first time in my adult life (and I'm in my 50's!) I feel like I have a living room that looks like a living room. Yesterday, I was trying to move furniture on my own and nothing fit like I thought and it looked worse than when I started. I downloaded this app and quickly got an accurate floor plan. It was really easy to make the one adjustment I needed. Putting the furniture in was really easy, too. I selected pieces that looked like mine and then changed the colors. To be sure I was right, I took quick measurements of each piece. The app already had most of them really close to the correct measurements. Then the fun began and I got to move things around. Tip: switch to 3D to appreciate the overall look, but move items in 2D. The only thing I didn't like about this process was sometimes I would resize an item by accident when trying to move it. There may be a way to lock the furniture dimensions once you're satisfied, but I didn't see how. After about the 5th try, I had a layout I thought would look good. I took a screen shot and printed it out. Today, my boyfriend and I used the picture to put everything in place. Everything fit exactly the way the plan said. I always thought it was my furniture that made my living room look like a college apartment, but really I have pieces that work really well together but weren't well placed. I keep walking into my living room and smiling. Although I had a free three day trial of this app and only needed it for 24 hours, I'm going to do something I never do: keep it past the trial period and pay for a week I don't need since I got such value out of it.

Used to have more free features. I WOULD be giving this app a higher rating, however a new change in features has led me to do otherwise. I have the free version of this app. I use it all the time and found it really useful when planning scenes for my digital art. The fact I could alter the color and material of the walls and floors made it easy and quick to get the tone I wanted to convey and was one of my favorite features. However, I have recently been unable to change the colors of walls and floors without being told via pop-up that that is a premium feature. I don’t know if this is a new update to the app, but regardless it is incredibly frustrating to make models on an app that only allows me basic gray stone walls and concrete floors. If you are okay with not changing the colors of your walls and floors, this might be a good app for you, but for me it is disappointing to no longer have that option after it has been SO useful to me in the past. Might look for a different app so I don’t have to struggle with this new restriction.

Navigating around this app is so frustrating. I purchased this app to design a clients home for a remodel but it left me more frustrated then anything. The navigation in this app is the worst, trying to move around the rooms is so hard to do you can’t get down low to view thing on the floor and trying to get from room to room should be simple but it’s not. I don’t understand why cant I have an option to just build a wall to add on an addition to a house why do I have to switch from 3D to 2D to add a whole new box just to have to line up circles that become I’m possible at times because now you have to deal with outside walls inside. I’m just so frustrated that I don’t even want to right a review because there is so much wrong with this app but I don’t want anyone else to make a mistake in thinking that this is a real design app because it’s not, it has more outdated furnishings than anything.

Good app, a few flaws 😕. *Please read Before buying!* ❤️ this app! I enjoy the wide selection of furniture and stuff but some things need changing: I really wish everyone could have access to all of the furniture without paying a subscription!! Almost all the furniture is ‘premium.’ It’s ridiculous. I totally get why they make you pay but If you are looking to have access editing and using all the furniture, be prepared to either watch videos to unlock or just pay the stupid subscription! Also, I like the design battle feature but think that everyone should be able to participate in the challenge. ⚠️ WARNING!!! ⚠️ It seems like you are entering the challenge no matter what but you are NOT actually entering your project unless you sign up and create an account. So, good app overall but please try to make the design battle for everyone instead of asking to sign up.

I’m not sure that I would recommend. Ok, so I am designing a backyard landscaping area, and I’ve used this app before. Online on computers, you can edit every item. That is what I was expecting when I downloaded this app. I am frustrated because it is a very nice, easy-to-use app, but everything is locked! I know that is how the company gets a profit, but it is kind of ridiculous. I can’t even get a gate! For me to recommend and write a better review, first I would need to have the company open up a few more things. Also, you can watch ads to get items for a limited amount of time. I was about to get another needed item— because it was counting down and said you could— when it said “No reward items are available.” My question is, why would it trick you into thinking you could have more rewards, when you actually can’t? Last thing is, for some reason, everything has color, but the trees are white, and you can’t edit them. I would like to know when these things are fixed, and then I will use the app again. Until then, do not count on me recommending this to anyone.

Buyer Beware. Before you purchase this app, know that it is not at all as advertised. I bought a premium subscription for 1 year with the intention of uploading my professionally drawn architect’s blueprints so I would have the exact measurements and layout in place in Planner 5D. Their scan provided an inaccurate drawing with walls missing, windows missing, doors missing, cabinets and counters missing. I tinkered around for a couple hours to fix it and realized then just how user unfriendly this program really is. I requested a refund at which time they said, effectively, ‘here is a new AI scan. We fixed the issues. Hopefully you will be happy with this now!’ I looked and the scan indeed showed an improved version of the first effort, but not 100% (and isn’t that what we need when doing architectural layouts?!). Still hopeful, I attempted to fix the remaining issues and work with it. Again, after wasting more time trying to fix mistakes, I saw that the program was just too user unfriendly to work with. I emailed customer service again and said I would still like a refund. I received a response saying they could not refund me because I had modified their re-scan. They sent me a link to some fine print. Absolutely my bad for not reading the fine print. Hopefully this review will remind you to dig deep before buying an expensive app, and to read the fine print!

Don't expect too much.. I have a premium subscription and try to use it interchangeably on iPad, website, and Windows 10 app. It has lots of problems and shortcomings. Here are a few of them. * A door's representation in 2D and 3D often do not match. And they may be different on iPad than website than Windows 10. * Inadequate basic construction objects like * No sliding glass patio doors * No bypass closet doors * No concept of layering or stacking of objects. The ability to control the order of stacking is essential but does not exist. You have to drag the objects apart to work on them and then re-assemble them. * When you abut 2 rooms to have a common wall, you cannot work with the common wall segment as a single wall. * An open area in a ceiling or floor may or may not render as an open space in 3D. * An object like stairs that ascends through a ceiling space or descends through a floor space may appear in 3D as though the ceiling or floor is transparent. In other words, the floor or ceiling does not block the the portion of the object that should not be visible for the current viewing angle. * There is a fairly limited fixed list of room names with no way to add a custom name. * It is very difficult to work with short wall lengths because the wall length is too short to show its length. * Room labels do not adapt to room size and, for small areas, may make it impossible to select the room. * Many more...

Used to work wonderfully. I LOVED this app, but a few months ago things got weird. It started crashing randomly or sending me to random areas of that map, leaving me to search for the location my house in a sea of blank space. The random location thing got fixed (but it still crashes frequently), but then the see-through glass items such as glassware, windows, shower doors, fish tanks, etc, became completely opaque white so the details behind it are lost. Walls are hard to line up. It doesn’t allow me to zoom in far enough to click on small items. Won’t let me change the height of points in walls to create A frames. When I try to put a roof on the first floor rooms, it takes over the inside of the rooms upstairs. I also wish I could see stairs from the second floor. They look beautiful from the first floor, but the second floor has a solid floor where the stairs should be. There is no option for downstairs. Just up.

Such a waste of money. I genuinely cannot believe people recommend Planner 5D with a straight face. This app is marketed like some powerful interior design platform where you can realistically recreate your apartment and experiment with layouts, materials, colors, lighting, furniture, etc. What it actually is: a clunky, overpriced furniture-dragging simulator with the depth of a mobile game from 2014. After spending over $100, I expected professional-level customization or at least a remotely convincing design experience. Instead I got generic furniture blocks that barely resemble real furniture, limited customization, awkward controls, and a fake-looking 3D environment that makes everything feel like a low-budget Sims knockoff. Want to accurately match your real apartment? Good luck. Want to customize colors and materials in a meaningful way? Prepare for disappointment. Want your actual furniture to look remotely correct? Not happening. The entire experience becomes an endless cycle of: drag object → resize object → rotate object → realize it still looks nothing like your room. Yes, technically you can test rough spacing and layouts. But that is an insane amount of money to spend for what ultimately amounts to digital furniture Tetris. Honestly, a tape measure, your phone camera, and common sense would get most people 80% of the way there with far less frustration. This feels less like professional design software and more like an app built by people who are very good at marketing subscriptions.

Good. The game is really good it is very accurate in size. The glitch wher a wall won’t merge propply and the door shows a wall or when ceilings merge and when i try to change the colour of the roof the clour flickers. Over all the game is very good and helps with a lot of design.

Poor service. This product may be useful however don’t subscribe to it. Customer service is terrible and they rip people off. Money hungry immoral and corrupt. I had t used the product for over 12 months and when it auto renewed for 12 months they would not refund. Hiding behind terms and conditions that are well hidden and like playing hide and seek to find any way to cancel or unsubscribe. Thieves

Subscription paid but catalogue still locked. I was quite disappointed initially as the full catalogue did not unlock despite purchasing. I sent an email to the support team and this was resolved within a day or two. It is by far the best designing app I have used and completely worth the the purchase.

Great but…... Planner 5d is an amazing app but the thing is, you only get access to very little of the furniture without paying so I can barely design a home without paying! Also I would like it if there was a garden designing feature.

I absolutely love this app and I can’t get off it. Planner 5D is such a great app for people who are passionate about interior design and architecture. I’ve found this app easy to use, and full of amazing furniture, customisation options, and even plants to add pizazz to your design. I definitely recommend this to everyone, it’s totally worth it!

Laggy. Overall the game is pretty good but once you start building the levels up it becomes very laggy to the point it will take a while to move the thing you tried to move. I also know this isn’t my iPad as it is the newest model and the top of the range.

Free Rewards. I love how the game gives us people not wanting to buy the premium. Though now not having the ‘chain’ of free rewards accumulate, want I mean by that is how, it was one reward token, 2 reward token and so fourth. Now it is 1 reward token, for three days and then a snapshot. Then after the 4 day period you restart the amount of tokens. But the old reward chain was you accumulate your reward tokens, but now you don’t. But in general a fantastic game. Bravo

Pretty good. I love to use this app for design how every there is somethings that could be an improvement on. For example make it free to edit objects so that i can change colour and size, stuff like that.

Best designing app ever created!!!. In Planner 5D you are able to design incredible houses without having to pay for it! It is an easy way to make a house, just being able to think of an interior or exterior idea and quickly put your thoughts and ideas on your screen.

Frustrating Experience Despite Premium Subscription. I initially had high hopes for the Planner 5D app, as it seemed to offer everything I needed for our current build. However, my experience has been extremely disappointing. The app’s interface, particularly when it comes to uploading plans, is clunky and unreliable. Despite paying for the premium subscription, I’ve encountered countless issues with the functionality. To make matters worse, the help desk, chatbot, and support options are completely unhelpful and frustrating. I’ve now been forced to seek alternatives, despite the investment I made. I expected much better

I love it. The app is so fun and I love making dream houses the only issue is, is that you have to get the premium version to get access to all the supplies but besides that this app is insanely fun and exciting every time I pick up my iPad I have to go into this app even if it’s just for five minutes. You should 100% get this app it is so so so so so so fun.

A couple requests. I would like to request that you make more stuff that is free it would make the app more popular. I would also like to give some ideas for the design battles like designing a three bedroom apartment and also a modern rustic house. Eh. This app is good, but only if you are going to pay a monthly fee. I am planning on designing a new bedroom for myself, and I tried to find an app to use and I chose this one. I will have to find a different app to plan it out because this app only gives me a very small option on what I can add to my bedroom. I tried to add a bed but there was only one free choice, this is a great app but I think that there should be more free options because I would not like to pay every month so that I can get an extra bed. Difficult to use. Very difficult to use. Found it impossible to create even a basic floor plan for an apartment. Tutorials were not helpful. Maybe would make more sense to someone familiar with this style of app but for a casual user it is unusable. Seems to require a level of knowledge well above entry level. Requested refund as app did not work as expected but was denied. Cancelled subscription immediately but still stuck with the bill. I’ll stick with the free browser based software I have been using for years from a different developer as I have no issues understanding that one. I do not recommend this app.

Great App, but Help Please!. Hello! This is a really great app for designing houses, apartments and buildings ect. I love to use this app in my spare time. The furniture is quite nice and I love how there are different room shapes. However, there is one issue; in the 3D view all of the plants are in black and white. Is there any way to fix this? If not, that’s alright :)

Great app but. You need to enable all the furniture and make it free if you want people to download because not everyone may have money to spend rapidly like you think and there could be a talented designer who cannot express his talent because of the cost.

Pushes too hard for payment. Downloaded it to see if it would work for helping plan our interior design and minor renovations. Would be happy to pay if it does what we want, but I gave no idea if it does or not. Can I resize tables? Can I change the colour of sofas? Is there an option for choosing materials or colours of flooring or walls? Who knows. Click on anything and you just get asked to pay. I have no idea if I want to pay, because I have no idea what the app can do.

Sneaky. I am not impressed.. When it comes to buying the premium version of the app you are given two options: “10 per week” “120 per year (only $9 per month!” When it states the $9 per month in brackets you assume that means it will charge you monthly, however if you choose this option which is advertised as the value option it immediately charges you $120 and it is non refundable. Even if you are trying to restore the app after accidentally deleting it, it doesn’t honour previous subscriptions. This is very sneaky and misleading. $9 a month is managing, $120 all at once is not worth it for an app!

Great but a little helper note. I love this game but sometimes when I play I think it’s boring. So I bought premium on a family share device so my whole family got premium. But everyone except me got premium. My brothers both got but ,one stayed simple. Why...?? Pls help this glitch because I loved this app and I payed for it. I payed last year in December and it still never came through help

Skrrrt. This is an awesome app when it’s working properly, sometimes when I go into 3D mode it won’t show the doors and a lot of the furniture. It also freezes and I have to restart the app for it to work. However really easy to use measurements and alter certain objects hopefully the glitches would be fixed soon :)

Good but could be better. I love it! It is really great in expanding creativity! I do think though that the prices of premium are WAY over the top!! I mean I thought this rug was to small so I went to expand, then the app told me I had to buy premium to do it! It cost around $42 dollars for unlimited and that’s just annoying cause I’m broke. Any way you guys read this and take into account what I’ve said.

Decent. This app is really good, like super good, but there are definitely things that they can change to make it easier to use, for example, when I go to edit the interior or exterior of a wall and I want to change the rotation of the material it is made with, I can’t type in how many degrees I want it to rotate, I have to slide my finger across the bar and it makes it really difficult to get the correct rotation. Another one is that when changing the colour of a material on a wall is really difficult when I want to keep that colour throughout the whole build consistently, the colour is never the exact same on each wall because of how specific I have to be with the colour, but I don’t know how you’re team will be able to fix that... 1: change the rotation so you can type how many degrees you want it to rotate 2: the colour selector is too specific and I can’t keep the colour on each wall the same consistently... but I don’t know how you will fix that 👍

Awesome but....... This is a great app and it is so fun!!! The only thing is it suddenly glitches when it’s on 3D mode, it then doesn’t let you get back to what you’re building- it’s so annoying because you have to delete all your work. It would be great if you could fix it and I would change my rating if you did.

Modern apps are all paywall scams. Maybe if i paid $x for a monthly subscription i could give an accurate review, but im not going to do that when I only need to use this once. Your company is not Netflix, even google has a free service. Don’t paywall your products, let alone charge over $100 and still not give consumers a lifetime product. And before you tell me “thats unfair you didn’t get the whole experience how can you critique…” i downloaded a free app, and the free product is [insert bad word]. Dont market it as free and just expect people to pay, its low and shows the quality of your product is as well.

Think twice before downloading for trial. Downloaded the trial for 3 days and it wasn’t what i was looking for and forgotten to cancel the subscription. Got charged for a year subscription (not even monthly) and try to cancel it but the customer service just redirected me to Apple service. And there is not way i can revert this charges of over $100 for something i don’t even find it useful. Total ripped off!

Dangerous lack of device syncing. Unfortunately the app does not do a good job of syncing between devices. I lost several hours of planning because I work on my Mac and opened it on my iOS device 15 minutes later and it saved over the top. It’s also VERY limited in how much you can build your own items, and it gets pretty costly when you want to render good quality versions.

Okay. I’m my option it’s a good game but it glitches so often, every time I go to draw a wall it glitches e I have to leave the game and then reopen it. Also to much of the supplies are premium, and you can barley use any of it! So if they just fix a these things then I think it would be a great game

Great and User friendly. This is an amazing app and allows for pretty much anything you want without much architectural knowledge. A way it could be improved is making it advertisement based and take out the payment for premium. Another thing would be the ability to draw up your own objects to add in to you home. Although I haven’t used it much, the corner plotting of the room is a very good idea. Overall, this is a great app and would recommend it to house designers, home buyers and students wanting to learn about architecture.

Ok but not good. Good concept but when I turned it into 3D the whole thing just went white Also I think you should add more vehicles cause without paying you can only get a little kids bike I think there should be more kitchen storage options. There is only one kitchen set available without payment. And the other kitchen cupboards are brown. You can’t label a room Laundry. Also you just want people to pay for a premium version so you make more money. That’s why there are so many complaints cause there are minimal options to choose from

Planner 5D. It is the best! I looked at so many apps to design my new house and every one I had to pay to use, then I found planner 5D and fell in love! I go on it 24 7 and mum gets sooo angry cause I’m on it so much. You can make thousands of design and there are so many options, there are even people and pets in it!!!! I recommend getting this app because it is so much better than any other app I’ve seen! No pay but still okay😄 I was so disappointed when I found out I couldn’t do renders without paying though😭

Great app for home design. This app is wonderful for home design but I don’t like the paid subscription. I’m using the free version and I only have access to very few items. I do like the rewards where every 24 hrs you get a free item of choice to unlock for 72 hours but I think the free version should have more variety of objects

Snapping and loading. I really love using this app, however it has a couple of really disappointing and frustrating habits. It always snaps doors and windows to walls that they’re not supposed to be on. This is a setting that you can turn off whilst in a project, but as soon as you exit the project it resets. Which means the next time you go into the project, all of the time you spent fixing all of the doors and windows, was wasted as they’re all messed up again - it’s beyond frustrating sometimes. When changing the material of a wall in 3D mode, it can be a 2+ minute process for each side! The time it takes to load the material is absurd! And heaven forbid if you try to change the scale of the material. Another quick thing I will mention is rotation, of anything. It’s really bad, way too sensitive, would be great if you could type in the degree you want the rotation in. This app does have many many great qualities, and i hate to be writing something negative, but this has been going on for years now and I’m just so over it. Kind regards J

Pay and pay again. This would be great if you could export your plans for 3D modelling,or to be able to use them in other 3D software to create VR rooms, sadly you can’t. Instead it has a limited AR render which is nothing more than flash over substance. Shame as it has a lot of potential. Your subscription won’t cover renders, which you’ll have to pay for again!

Money. The first time I got this I was exited but then once I downloaded it there was a lot of stuff locked and where I had to pay $60 just to have a free membership for like 1 to 3 months and I thought it was bad cause I wanted to design houses on it but all the furniture isn’t good enough so I would like if everything was free cause then more people would download it. If you don’t like spending money on apps don’t get this!! Trust me otherwise you will be spending $100 or over just for a year which is bad. I thought this was the app cause there aren’t any other apps like this but guess not I thought everything was unlocked or at least most things but I guess not, planned5D if your reading this please make more things free cause I don’t play this much now since I have to pay a lot of money, or at least make the prices like $1.00 for 6 months cause then more people will download this app.

It’s good but needs a little more. The app is good but Would be great if had the option of closed or open doors or the height of walls and to be able to design split level houses and having the choice of floors being elevated abit, the variety of plants for outside isn’t great. When updates happen get new furniture but haven’t seen a single new plant or garden added. Outside things needs some serious work.

They deleted my membership. I’ve had 5D downloaded since 2014 or even before. It was a game for me as a kid, my mum at the time understood how much I loved it that she bought the lifetime package. Over the years I’ve gone back to playing around on it. It’s probably been 6 months since I’ve been on the app, i logged into our original account and everything has gone back to being locked. Now there’s no choice for a lifetime package and they deleted the package that we payed for. Just disappointing for an app I spoke so highly of to others

Great AR app for hashing out ideas. Great tool for rapidly taking an idea to a virtual space, and coupled with the AR functionality, provides a great way to inspect and demonstrate a ideas and spaces to stakeholders, or yourself. Being able to “step through” a space with a large tablet is a great tool for me... Oculus Quest, Devs? It’s not a full blown design suite, but it’s relative simplicity manages to keep the learning curve down and as a result, the app is entirely accessible for the Everyperson who wants this kind of tool in their kit. Great cross platform support, has worked well for me on every platform. Worth every cent.

Missing essential home features. I wish I’d checked other apps before paying the yearly subscription. There doesn’t seem to be basic home options such as a laundry, cannot name rooms, should be able to lock the background so you don’t shift the whole landscape as you try to resize, difficult to resize walls either side of a doorway, difficult to reconfigure some options such as stairwell etc My 6 year old son loves it but I’ll be using it only for a basic floor plan (which I could do on a free app) and using one of the other detailed apps for interior layout and styling

Best design app. This is seriously the greatest easiest to use design app I’ve ever come across. We are redesigning our house and I have been able to work up a render of every room which has enabled me to change many ideas and plans for the better. Only improvement would be the ability to share the actual 3D editable renders with others ie my architect so he can he view from all angles etc. I would pay for that feature! Thank you.

Like app. Beautiful pictures, lots of convenient free experiences for people with no money. Sometimes lag but less. No ads, unless you want to watch to redeem rewards 🎁

Amazing, but I have some possible ideas!. I love the new personalised textiles section but unfortunately I am unable to upload more than two. Here are some other suggestions 1) allow for more than three floors 2) have a mode where you are able to walk around the space with controls. Currently as it is it is difficult to see spaces especially those on second or third floors. 3) some of the furniture/cabinets etc seemed unnecessary as it was just another one but reversed (which you can already do without the need for more furniture). 4) allow for more options for ceilings (perhaps dome ones). It would also be nice to be able to have an attic like space in that you can see the shape of the roof and it adds space but currently I am not able to do that without you seeing a gap in the walls between the ceiling and also blocks views from a 2D point unless I put it on the third floor.

App Glitches and shuts down…. Have had this app for several years now - up until recently I loved using it and had used it for mutliple projects across our business and private projects. However, I cannot rely on or use it anymore as it glitches FREQUENTLY when in use and will shut down / close almost repeatedly every few minutes. There has been no upgrade/update to fix this issue and I have even deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times, however it continues to happen. Very disappointed as this app was previously a very useful visual tool when discussing plans with trades and project managers to ensure all could visualise the end goal and all were working to the same idea or vision of the finished project. Now the app is basically unusable due to its constant closing.

Free trial cost me $111. I am extremely upset as I had selected a 3 day free trial, it did not let me choose which subscription I wanted to continue with after the 3 day trial so I assumed it would ask me after the trial was over. Unfortunately it automatically selected the $111 annual subscription and feel extremely ripped off as I did not need a whole year and am now down $111. For me, $111 was quite steep. I feel let down that they did something so sneaky.

Great. This app is absolutely amazing the only down side is that you have to pay for some of the better things but with a good imagination you can definitely make it work no adds whatsoever this app helps me dream big when I move I will be getting a new bedroom with this app I can easily design it and dream big I have had this app for a very Long time it is great. This app also does little challenges so you can compete with other people who have this app it’s very fun and gives you some ideas also whilst doing this challenge you can use all the materials you want including the premium ones you cannot usually get ENJOY you should definitely consider getting this outstanding amazing app

Should be free. This programme is so ludicrously limited it has all the hallmarks of something that really should be free and not the INSANE prices they charge. Seriously, the amount they charge this programme should be able to do it all but instead, you have VERY limited choices in furniture, doors, tiles, paint you name it. Not only that that buggy all over the place, the renders are terrible 90% of the time due to lighting, you have to guess what will and won’t work, def can’t just add the lights (limited choices again) you have in real world, that simply won’t work… I find it quite disgusting they basically treat this as a scam, no app improvements just terrible UI (absolutely impossible camera controls EXTREMELY limited, you can not get the angle or shot you want because the camera won’t go lower than around 2m off the ground AND you can’t change the field of view, so good luck trying to get a render of your very generic looking bathroom to see how it looks. Steer clear of this programme and developer.

Charged twice, still no premium. Absolutely filthy with this company. Downloaded the app, looked cool so decided to pay an exorbitant amount of money for the premium version to unlock more. It literally didn’t change anything so I thought maybe it didn’t go through. Tried to process it again as sometimes apps will say ‘already unlocked’ and work, but it just decided to charge me the full amount again without unlocking anything further. And the customer service has been terrible, passing me on to a third party that never replied.

I used to love to play this game but inflation hit.. This game is ok, and for a while I was able to get good furniture and make beautiful houses. After an update it all got really weird. Some categories are all entirely premium whereas others have one or two objects for free. I miss the days where it went the other way, where one or two things were premium and whole categories were free. I get that maybe the editing furniture thing can be premium. Even if you make half of the categories premium, it would still be better than this. Please make things cheaper. I can currently not use bunk beds, children’s furniture, pets, life-style, etc…. Please make more things free. 😢🥺😡😣

Ridiculous pricing. $10.49 a week or $60 a year should be against the app store rules, that’s the most absurd pricing and force to yearly I’ve ever seen in an app. Sure it’s a cool app, but when it takes them 2-3 days to process your floor plan to a model and your paying weekly… it’s why I canceled my subscription. Some people don’t need a full year and forcing it down their throats is scummy

Absolutely useless. Infuriating useless app. Any time you do or add anything to the floor plan it automatically resets the floor plan to a different size, even when the walls are locked.

A powerhouse design app. A powerhouse of an app when used on the computer, which I have done, just so easy and versatile, and always beautifully rendered in HD format. The potential in your rooms is felt and experienced, as well as seen. But it is hampered on mobile devices by bugginess (non-responsive icons, random tasks being performed, like making one wall too long etc), which is a shame, because it’s so close. Working in landscape mode really helps iron a lot of these issues out, though, and their customer service is top notch. You may run into a few problems, but they will be resolved within 24 hours. Overall very worth it but I would recommend working on something with a keypad. You’ll spend many happy hours designing your dream!

Doesn’t tell you if you’ve already used the 3 day trial period. I was looking to try the app to see if it could help me with trying different layouts for our kitchen and it did I could use try it for 3 days for free… I selected the 3 day trial period for free and I was charged 100$ right away on my credit card with no option to get a reimbursement. I tried the app since I paid for it but it turns out it’s not at all what I was looking for. A waste of money, so make sure you remember if you’ve already tried it before since the app won’t tell you that you don’t have a free trial period!

Literally the worst. this app genuinely sucks, 3 day free trial and then like 90$ to draw lines. it’s genuinely stupid and it barely even works. it wouldn’t let me place down any walls this app should be taken down.

Very buggy app. I have this downloaded on my Mac and iPhone. It’s always getting frozen on the Mac and nothing can be moved. The first time I uploaded the floor plan, it did great. Then, for the exact dimensions for ground floor, it did nothing! No walls, doors or windows.

Scam scam scam!. They say it’s free to try but they charged me for a week or so around 13.5 CAD. Secondly the app doesn’t function, it can’t generate the final AI design on iphone 15 pro, and most importantly, when you give it access to your camera, it keeps recording(green dot next to camera shows that), even when you are out of camera recording. So this app should not be allowed to work cause it’s a scam!

False advertisement. Downloaded this app with a 3 day “free trial” I tried the app and wasn’t happy with it and cancelled the subscription the same day the free trial started. Was still charged the 27 dollars for the entire month despite the free trial and cancellation and denied a refund. Complete scam.

Not worth it…. Not user friendly but also the free version does not allow you to edit anything except the walls. Also no option to slope the wall? Better off to get another app like this

I thought it was going to be a good app because it was sort of for business work and usually those types of apps are non crash apps. Only download this app if you have tons of patients. I’m appalled!!. I did a 3 day trial, not realizing that after the 3 days $90 would be taken from my Apple account. The same day that it happened, I requested a refund and it was denied. This is disgraceful!!!

This app is so bad. It is too sensitive and you can’t do anything. All of the furniture is locked and there isn’t any flexibility. Maybe I don’t know how to use it but this app sucks

Not User Friendly. The is app started me with a living room and I couldn’t move past there. There was no option to add a kitchen or any other room, just to duplicate my current room. I couldn’t remove walls or do any basic editing. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Not user friendly. Horrible app horrible design, pushes purchases, videos and ads on you so you can unlock useless furniture which I have no idea where it is.. never got to that part because the measurement system is complete and utter trash.. When you try to enter a measurement it will always put in its own suggested measurements.. buildings aren’t always built perfectly symmetrical. When you type in inches it defaults to feet and when you type in the foot measurement it does some other crazy unexplainable crap which you can’t see where you’re typing on the app because the keyboard covers the area you’re typing in.. I could go on forever about how bad this app is.. don’t find out for yourself.. deserves zero stars and I’m convinced anyone who gave it 4-5 stars is a bot or a paid employee/reviewer as there reviews make no sense.. this is apparently a game to some people.. this is not a family simulator it’s a redesign/Reno/construction app.. that sucks in every way so I guess it’s better off as a game

Can’t upload floor plan. It interprets given measurements as extra rooms and doesn’t understand open concept, useless to upload. No time saving.

Very slow and contiguously freezing. This app is a big problem at certain point in the middle of the project. It becomes very slow and freezing and wasting your time continuously I hope I did not spend that much hours in it and now I’m not able to get any refund they’re saying I’m not entitled to do so, although I did scream video, and I showed them that the app is freezing. I’m using an Apple iPad Pro very powerful but their app has a problem. A big one.

Can’t do much.. I wanted to use the app to renovate the front of our house. Bought the premium because you can’t do much on a free trial which was $100. I’ve had the app for 30min and HATE it, i’d have to get the PRO if i wanted more options. I want my $100 back…

This app is essentially a scam. Like many folks here complained, you end up being charged for a yearly subscription whether you like it or not, the refund policy is probably illegal in the states (you get refund only if your card was stolen). Once I was charged USD 90 or such, the product simply didn’t and still doesn’t work. I have no idea how they passed Apple’s muster.

this app is a joke.. - cannot rotate rooms - cannot delete walls - no export - extremely expensive for what you get the developers should be ashamed of themselves. update: your own help pages say: “Note: you can not permanently delete an entire wall from your project, you can only remove (hide) it.” similarly the only export is PDF, not the actual data. so the developer even lies in their responses. now i wish i could rate them half a star.

I downloaded this app thinking it would help with my renovation, signed up for the free trial and I was unhappy with the function of the app, I deleted it and I didn’t realize I had to unsubscribe in another part to void the free trial they make you sign up for which then automatically subscribes you to pay a lot of money even after I deleted the app. Apple wouldn’t refund my purchase so now I’m out $100 for an app I was not satisfied with and have deleted off my phoneGreat… thanks

iPhone vs Mac. I love this program, but it only really works on my iPhone. On the iPhone I’ve got access to all the features, for the most part. The browser for Mac has some big glitches in it so I ended up downloading it on my phone where it works great. Downside, the way it works it charged me a second time for the program so now I’m in the process of trying to get a refund for the double charge. The tech guys are great and respond quickly, but can’t help me with the double charge so I’m trying to go through Apple ID. Anyway, if you are an apple user like me just download it on your phone and save yourself the hassle- it’s a really cool program but the web apple version has some issues.

It’s ok it could be way better!. So the app when you try to zoom in, in different directions it doesn’t let you go some ways. When you try to turn the item it basically doesn’t work. I see furniture that looks exactly like the furniture I have in my room but you have to pay. I don’t was to pay the prices for an app that I’ll end up deleting later. I wish you could make your own furniture for the app. I read the reviews and most of them stated that they don’t like that you have to pay for the furniture. I also wish you could pick a pattern for it instead of just colors. With the colors I want to be able to pick the shades of the colors.

Frustrated. Listen, I love this app, I’m currently designing houses to help me get ideas for the books I’m writing. I don’t have premium, because I’m broke, but there’s a feature where you can watch a video and get to unlock an item for 72 hours to use. I’ve been using that for a while and had 25 unlock thingys saved up. Recently it’s been glitching out and took away my unlocks. I watched three videos and only got one unlock, then lost the ones I saved again I really like the app, but somethings wrong. I just want help, please!

Needs a lot of work. I tried this a couple of years ago and gave up because the 2D layout was cumbersome and should have been so much easier to drop and drag dimensions. I tried again to see if improvements were applied bit I am still not pleased with this app. Deleting splits that i created in walls seems impossible, they can only be hidden which is annoying and causes the points to gap at the corners. The color scheme does not render a full range of colors, the colors are dull and dark, not even a true white will show, yellow is a dark mustard at its lightest setting. The furniture will not rotate 360, only a flip horizontal or vertical so I am unable to line up the room the way I am planning. In the end this is mot useful and I am moving in to search for a better tool.

Wish I could give it zero stars. Literally every action you need in order to do what you want is premium content that comes as a subscription. I’m not going to pay over $5 a month of money I don’t have just to play a stupid game without any instructions or obvious features as to how to use it and then get bored with in a few weeks and still be charged even though I cancel. Why even bother making a free version? You can’t DO anything! I can’t even figure out how to change the color of a piece of furniture without running across a “this is Premium content” message. I would not recommend anyone choose this app. Stay as far away from unpromising apps as possible. They probably have malware anyway. Not going to fall for this kind of thing again.

So Many Changes. I loved this app. I used to use it often, but after each update there were more and more limitations. I really only used it for fun to see what I can create, but having to pay for everything makes this extremely frustrating. I understand having premium items but basic things are either extremely small (& can’t scale without paying) or you can’t change the color/material. If I have access to something, at the very least, I should be able to change the color or measurements. It’s overwhelmingly limiting and I’m not a fan of the app like I was before. Not to mention all my old projects are gone 😔.

This game is great but I wish there were a few more things. This is really great game and I would definitely get it I got the yearly membership just in case I wouldn’t like it- and it is the best purchase I have ever purchased. The only thing I wish to add to game and have questions about are: 1. I was building a two story house and I didn’t know how to get rid of the ceiling because it would go straight through 2. I don’t know if we can make basements but if we can’t I would really love it we could 3. I think we should be able make the edges of our pool and hot tub because there is on two pools I really use in the game 4: There is a glitch where when I’m trying to create a room it immediately goes into a Triangle and sometimes when I make the room the check mark and X don’t show so I have to refresh the game 5. I also want to have more rugs/ fluffier and more up to date rugs that are in most homes today These are somethings I want in the game that will make it a tad bit better

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I was looking foward to this game. I was looking for a game that you have many choices and no levels to complete to add more furniture. The reviews and pictures looked great so I downloaded the game. Biiiiig mistake. The game gives you 2 to 3 options per category and the options in my opinion are disgustingly ugly. Also the game give random ads when you place a random piece of furniture. I tried to unlock the other furniture options which looked a little nicer than the other given choices and the game was asking for 60 dollars a YEAR!!!!!!! It is unacceptable!!! Too top it all off the game is very confusing to control and some furniture options generated off the ground! Like I said I hate this game and do not recommend AT ALL!!!!!!!!! Wish I could give this game 0 stars.

SMHHHHH SMHHHHH. I really loved this app, keyword LOVED. My first problem runs with the only option to get all options is to buy the yearly package. This game is so much fun, building and decorating houses is something I find entertaining but I can’t do that when it’s expensive as hellllll?! This is an app on an iPhone not a technology that architects use so I don’t understand why you’re overcharging people. My second problems stems from my first, when I’m paying money to get all features it would be nice if you could update this app every once and a while and add new things. Like I said YOURE OVERCHARGING. Btw, I had full access until out of nowhere it knocked me out and only gave me the option to pay for a whole year. #nothappening🙃

THIS IS AMWESOME. The only thing I would like to see asap is an option for a one time purchase option. I’m not a monthly subscription person, but I could definitely see myself paying for a one time purchase option. Other than that this app is pretty easy to use and a great way to play with floor plans and see if it’s something you’re interested in. They recently brought more furniture to the free option (thank you!!) and they have a lot of options for construction. I wish there was an easier way to make an individual wall, and that we could change the colors of furniture like we used to be able to. Other than that it’s great!

Very buggy. Tried to use to layout rooms I have drawn by hand for a garage apartment. Can’t see building dimensions and add rooms within the building easily. I tried using the ruler took a while to get it set up the way I want to give myself a boundary. After getting the ruler together I went to draw the rooms within the ruler line and the ruler goes away. I just wanted to put my plan into the app and then mess around with furniture counter tops and appliances and closets to get a better idea of what’s going on before I build. Good as a free app but do the trial first I wouldn’t pay $65 a year for this program.

Fun but irritating. It’s a really great app but the rewards are annoying because you can spend the way to fastly and it takes 24 hours for you to open up the next one. If you get this app you should really have the patience to wait for your rewards because once you get them they’re gonna like that cause all you wanna do is spend it right away it’s an amazing app and it’s really fun but still it gets annoying that you only get one order each day they should have the reward set for like five hours and then you can unlock it or if you’re gonna at least make you wait 24 hours they should at least give you two rewards for waiting that long. Love the app but the rewards need help.

Errors, Horrible support, company hides behind auto renew. I paid for and downloaded the app, spent hours trying to get a PDF plan to upload, getting error after error saying AI Error. I then spent a significant amount of time trying to get help, but as the company is based in Europe and I’m in the US, that didn’t happen. When the company couldn’t help with my error (day 2), I cancelled my subscription and asked for a payment refund, which the company denied. The subscription did not cancel and I was charged for two more cycles. Again I tried to contact the developer, but their web site offers ZERO ways to contact the company for support or Communication. Luckily I had saved the emails when they snubbed me the first time. When I again requested the refund, they told me that had an “interesting solution” that I should just use the program. So 1- product fails, 2- charge after subscription cancelled, 3- developer provides no way to interact, 4- they insult you after they take your money. I would like to be paid for the four hours I spent trying to get a faulty product to work. Find a different app!!!

Awesome tool. I love this app — my entire home is modeled in it, complete with furniture and decorations! It’s helped me immensely in furnishing my apartment — I can see how things will fit and look by toggling into 3D mode and “walking around”. Aspects of it can be frustrating to work with when setting up rooms — specifically, the “snap to point” functionality that makes precision difficult. But the furniture catalogue is impressive, and there’s an web tool that you can leverage for more tricky operations (e.g. uploading custom patterns). Using this app and Wayfair, I’ve furnished almost my entire home and it all looks exactly as I dreamed!

WE NEED MORE KITCHEN CABINETS. I have a client who would like a custom kitchen designed in 3D so I bought this app and learned how to use it but in the process I quickly learned that there is a lack of kitchen cabinets given to us to work with. I would like to just comment that there needs to be a way larger selection or cabinetry and kitchen appliances as well as texture swatches for these items. I would also like to note that the windows and lighting lacks selection too. I hope the developer fixes this and also other issues in variety of items in this app. I see this app having the potential to be perfect for what I’m working with but for right now it does not. Right now I give this app 2 stars out of 5.

Worst App Ever - Dont waste your time and money. I bought this app to help with interior layouts and signed up for the yearly subscription which is close to $60. Not only can the AI not read floor plans there is also not a way to manually adjust measurements. Beyond that, there is apparently only access to 3 items max in each category for a PAID subscription. To “unlock” more items you have to pay extra. You only find this out once you are in the app and have made the purchase. Their advertising is misleading - the product does not have the capabilities it purports to - and the customer service is unethical - be aware they won’t issue you a refund under any circumstance even if what they delivered is not what they advertised. The app itself is not intuitive and the functionality is basic. Seriously - don’t touch this app. It’s the worst experience I’ve ever had.

Omg. Soooo i got this app thinking it would be really cool to design my dream home with it, and guess what? The amount of tools, colors, textures, and items you can use to design is SUUUUUUPERRR limited, and it would be oh so very boring and hard to design anything with the amount of items and tools given. So if you actually want a house designer to express your dream home, or anything, be ready to pay $70 dollars a year paying $1.50 a week. Good luck!! Update: i do understand my review is a bit sarcastic, but i do beleive that i, even with my job that i will be working soon, would not want to pay 70$ a year right now for a home design game. I hope you understand, enjoy raking in your probably hundreds, if not thousands of dollars a year making people give almost a hundred dollars for a game.

GOOD a few requests.. Hello, i want rotation and elevation in 3d NOT be mapped to gestures only but rather like a little circle at the bottom of the object to rotate/lift it. I also want a lot of new plants and deco because i dont like the selections. If you are wondering, yes I bought this so I have the whole libary of objects because I like showing my creativity and all those mobile home design GAMES not apps Games want me to pay(sims mobile and freeplay) to decorate anything good and I am really fine with paying for this from time to time. Thanks for reading and I hope you can work on these things for the future.

Crashing!! Fix please!!! Love app. Ever sense the newest up date my second floor has been crashing when I switch it to 3D I tried to look through the reviews and saw where another person was having the same problem. The app creator responded and said to go to settings and switch it form “metal” to “OpenGL” and I don’t see that options in the apps setting or in my apple settings on my phone. Please fix ASAP I’ve been working on a project for months and was just about prescribe to the app for a year so I could unlock all my other stuff but now I can’t sadly bc there would be no point if the app is has problems.

Developers heres some suggestions to make it even better, because I know there is competition. I really enjoy this app and I have been using it for years but theres somethings that I feel would make it even better since theres other apps like this out there. 1. ☺️ don’t keep us boxed in. Give us the creative opportunities to create more than just box walls. Like For example, if we had an inspiration to create a log cabin style home, we would need the triangular windows and walls which you currently don’t have in your catalog. This would be a fine addition to your catalog and would broaden the creative possibilities in your app. 2.☺️ Open floor plan and visibility between floors while using the the stairs. When we are placing stairs in between floors, there should be an open space area above it. This would be beneficial because when we create the new floor we know exactly where the stairs are. 3☺️ Opening Ceiling Option There should be an option to leave the ceiling open on the first floor so that the second floor can look into it. For when we have those houses that want that open space. 4 Basement Option.

LOVE IT! WANT MORE FEATURES!. For Years I’ve Been On This App & Never Felt The Need To Pay For The Unlimited Version. But Recently I Paid The $27 & I My Only Regret Is Not Paying For It Sooner! Also Liie To Add That I Encourage Others To Purchase The Full Version As Well. One Thing I Would Ask For Is If You Could Make It To Where We Can Add More Than Three Floors For Apts, Schools, & Other Multi-Story Buildinds. Also For Detail Purposes More Windows & Shutters Sliding Doors For Closets, More Staircase Options (Curved, L-Shaped, Winder, U-Shaped), & Maybe A Way To Add A Basement And/Or An Attic? Basket Ball Court Floors For Gyms, Etc.. Just Throwing Around A Couple Of Thoughts I Think Would Take This App To The Next Level!

The BEST home building and interior designing app out there!!!. No joke! I have tested out all the apps out there and this ones by far the best! They continuously update the app and I swear everyday they add more furniture, decoration, textures, etc.! The one time I reached out to customer service to share the awesome experiences I have had using this app and recommended an idea, they wrote me back within like 3 hours and what I had recommend to them was released the next week!!! I’m in love with this app y’all!

Amazing app!. The app started off rough, I’ve been involved for almost 2 years and the app has came so far, I’ve been involved in Betas and the progress of this app is simply amazing, from where it started to where it is now is simply unrecognizable. If there’s another Beta coming up, I’d love to be involved. Also, the one year subscription that Zymantas gave me just ran out and I’m actually said that I don’t have full catalog access right now. I’m stoked and can’t wait for them to take it to the next level and add more columns and doors and maybe crown molding or the ability to dome a ceiling. Great Job 5-D team!!

Good. I really like this app, but it is kind of annoying when you can only use certain objects because you don’t buy the premium. Although I can’t do exactly what I want I can usually compromise and still make it look nice. I am not planning on buying the premium version, because I would not want to pay that much money for an app. Without the nice version or the table version, you can still have some very good results. It is nice to adjust the actual size of the room too.

Infuriating. All I want to do is plan out my apartment layout, but this app is impossible and just enrages me. You can’t see room lengths less than 3’ so you have to guess, the snapping feature happens regardless of whether you toggle it off or not so while I’m trying to get to an each length it jumps out of nowhere and refuses to let me choose the length I want, if you make a room in the wrong orientation to the rest of the rooms there is no way to rotate or flip it to the right direction. By far the worst tool I could have chosen. Now I’m just annoyed and frustrated. Save yourself from that and run from this app. Unfortunately I forgot to cancel within the 3 day free trail so now I’m out $70 for a useless app I never plan to open again. Be smarter than I was.

Great game 😁😁😁. I love this game you can do so much! I love how you can put down almost anything and you can change almost every detail. I love this game so much it’s so fun!😁😁😁 I want to be a architect wen I grow up. And it’s hard to find a good house making game. I play this almost every day! Oh I also have a few ideas: I think it would be cool if the people that you place down can move and have bigger customization. And could use the appliances and even sleep! I feel since you are making a house it would make the game better to have them live in it. And maybe more furniture options.😁 that’s it! I’m just saying... this game is awesome!😁😁😁😁

Easy to use!!. I love the ease of use. Overall I like the app. Theirs just a few things I feel that is missing. Sometimes I find myself limited and restricted. I do like it a lot but i would like the ability to use my camera to take measurements of a specific rooms then have the app create my project accordingly to those measurements. I don't understand why we have to pay extra anytime we want to render out a draft and for textures. It’s also missing a very important feature. The ability to create half walls & more options when creating arched entry ways. Theirs a few other things but I can’t think of them at the moment. 😂 Hope it gets better!

Great app but things could be better. I have loved using 5D so far but my one wish is that there were more contests. It would be nice to be able to compete in multiple competitions without having to wait days to start the next. If the design contest were perhaps staggered (like each day there is a new one but the length of each one is the same) then I would put a lot more time into it. I know that isn’t what the app is for but I think you could get a lot more customers that way. And perhaps offering a small prize for the top three winners?

Be careful. This would be my first review. Just be careful. I bought the premium in june and it charged me twice, so I contacted them and they said they couldnt do a refund instead they will cancel the subscription and I would be good until August since I paid for it twice. Today is july 10th and they charged me again. I contacted them and I showed them screenshots of the 3 cancellation I made and how many times I got charged and they’ve been trying to figure it out for 2 hours and the guy I was talking to left the chat. So Im guessing I wont be getting my 20$ back, and since the cancellation button doesnt work I guess, Im going to have to call my bank so they dont keep charging me every month. I wish I could post photos so I could show you.

Neat little app👍😉. I had this app about 2 years ago and it was so fun to use. I played around with it even though most people use it for work. I never had the premium version but I considered it still fun to use. Now That I got my new iPad all figured out and stuff I’m thinking about getting it back on here. Can someone tell me how to add a 2 floor without the rooms and floors becoming identical to the first one? I struggled with getting right, so the items wouldn’t sink to the other floor. Sorry, I know it’s confusing and I wrote a long review because I finally found it again. Thanks for the help!!🥺😭😃👍👍👍👍

Aggravating bugs. I love this app. I got it for business and tried it against other planning platforms. It has been the best so far. It is the easiest to work with and has the most options, even without a monetary upgrade. As I decided to keep this app as our go to, we purchased the lifetime subscription. Almost immediately bug glitches started to occur. The app crashes more often, has issues when trying to customize anything, and when in 3D mode it is constantly inconsistent. We did not have these problems before upgrading. I do not understand as the upgrade does not change the platform but adds more options to what’s already there. It has become frustrating to use.

Great game- just one thing. This is an awesome app where you can create blueprints and see them in 3D as well. It has everything that could possibly be in a house, but the only thing is that you have to either pay for more furniture or unlock it by getting daily rewards. I would recommend using an iPad or any other device bigger that a phone so you can see everything better. I just think $59 is a RIDICULOUS price to pay for more furniture on an APP. I understand that the developers want to make money off of this app, but really? $59? If you do get this app, make sure you are going to use it for a while so you don’t waste your money.

Read before getting. It has been OK but, it looks nothing like on the video. If you are wanting to be a interior designer this is not the game for you. I really like the aesthetic and boho style and I could only have like two actually boho items. It doesn’t even give you any kid toys. I got this app thinking it would be great and help me in my future career but as most apps, it didn’t. Very disappointing. I mean I know that their trying to make money but it’s just not what I expected and I’m pretty sure it’s not what your expecting either. I’m still looking for a designing game that you don’t have to play games for furniture or one where you have to pay to get stuff. Please tell me in the reviews if you know of any.🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺😊

This is the best game ever!. You have to download this app its so fun and even tho I’m 11 i love this so much! You can make great house that can have furniture i did not buy the premium because you don’t have to pay 4 dollars a month just to color something it, even without the premium its so fun and you get great stuff to go inside and out side your house and ITS VERY EASY TO LEARN HOW TO DO THINGS I HAVE ONLY HAD THIS game for like 2 hours and i already know all the controls and even tho you cant color the stuff i just like to make cool floor plans and its so fun! PS: It’s all free!

Favorite app!. This is one of my favorite apps to use whenever I have free time! I love interior design and with the lifetime purchase, I love that you can make (literally) whatever you want and make it your own! I do, however, wish that there were more room options, like a circular option, or bay window option, something different from the typical square/rectangle floor plan option. I also have another small complaint too, recently the app has been crashing and I can’t even get into the app to use it! I hope it starts working soon because this is my favorite app!

5D APP: “Get IT”. This is my VERY FAVORITE APP of ALL!!! You can start out very simple and draw a room. But once you get the “hang” of it. The furniture and items you put IN THE ROOMS can be in “Scale”. Mirrors can cover a whole wall. Plants put on a table, watch height from floor. I designed a TINY HOUSE TOO! Love it!! (Still learning... how do you make a second floor without repeating the lower floor... someone let me know). Nothing to BUY , which is great... but IF you really get into it... you CAN buy more furniture etc! (And it’s worth it!!)

Love this App. I got this app on a whim one day while trying to decide how my new build house should look. I am no architect, though I have always loved floorplans, perspective drawings and, well, just architecture in general. This app is amazing. I have probably spent 100 hours on it so far. Everytime I think there is a limitation, I always end up finding a way around it. My architect is so impressed with my 3D rendering she has asked me to include a year membership in to 5D in her fee. A+

Love it!. I absolutely love designing on this app, but since this is just something I like to do in my free time, it’s a little pricey for a hobby. The only I have found that I don’t like is that the controls in 3D are a little tricky, I haven’t been able to get it to work with my apple pen, and I wish that it wouldn’t “tile” everything I upload. It would be awesome if you could change it to choose if you want it to stretch to fit the entire surface or tile it as it does automatically.

Love the App! Recommending Future Upgrades. We love the app and love the more recent upgrades. But, we have suggestions for future upgrades as well. 1. Doors: Please add additional entry door options. 2. Single beds: Your new selection of kids’ beds is great, but please consider adding more single beds NOT geared towards children. 3. Rugs: We feel like there is a desperate need for additional rug options, as there are few to choose from. 4. Kitchen sets: We enjoy the kitchen sets, but only one includes all appliances, which is challenging to navigate otherwise. More kitchen sets that include all appliances, in lieu of so many separate cabinets, would be very useful. 5. Kitchen cabinets and islands: There are very few corner cabinets to choose from. Moreover, there are only two island options to our knowledge. 6. Tile flooring: Can you add more options aside from solids or wonky, non-modern patterned tiles? More modern, patterned tiles would be useful, as well as slate or marble-looking porcelain tiles.

I love this app!. I’ve been using Planner 5d for a while now, and I love it! I wish that this app has more options for the interior and exterior, but at least the app has daily awards where you can collect rewards to redeem an item that is locked. Another wish I have for this app is that I don’t think customers should have to pay 5.99$ a month just to have locked items. Overall, this is an awesome app and should be used by people who love to express their creativity!

More than just a Game- MADE MY DREAMS COME TRUE!. I used this ap to design my tiny dream home-then built it! The ap allowed me to rework my design till it was perfect to the inch, including furniture and kitchen arrangement. I then submitted my plans and dimensions to an architect and made my dream home a reality. This ap was fabulous and helped me and those working with me visualize exactly what I wanted. Want to see the final product? Look on air BnB for TinyHouseParadise in Belize. For the developers: I love the new stair options and would request more variety in plants, landscaping and windows.

Could be better. I use to use this app for fun around 2-3 years ago and I reinstalled it recently to plan out how I want to renovate my room and ALOT has changed. one thing I loved about this app was that even though I couldn’t purchase the plan to unlock all things, I could watch ads to unlock one thing I wanted which isn’t even an option anymore. Another thing is that the different types of room are separated by what of type “room” it is which doesn’t really affect me but I would prefer not to have. I do have to say, the updates such as joining competitions and voting + the extras are nice. Overall it’s like how I remember it besides the extra things added and the paying for everything.

Cant do anything with my designs. I have had this app for many years now. I paid for it a long time ago back when it was a fairly cheap because I wanted to use all the furnishings. I have been very happy with it for years. Now- I cant do anything. I assume this is because I am not willing to pay again for something I already paid for. After several back and forths with the help desk- there was nothing they could do. I paid for it once; its waaaaaaay to expensive now; in my opinion- they are scamming people. I cant dis the app- its pretty good. I just dont agree with their business practice. Those of us who purchased the app during its upstart years should be grandfathered in; instead they are charging us again.

Amazing. At first I wash too sure how I feel about this app because other apps are just simulations and the pictures DO NOT look like they are in the game. But the quality and the content is amazing, the only thing I have an issue with is moving the screen around. Sometimes when I am moving my building around, I create some rooms with the drawing room. Though I RECOMMEND this app 100%. So far I haven’t had any add but I am going to give it time and see.

My favorite app!. I’ve been using this site/app for several years now and I love it. We move a lot and this helped me plan my furniture layout for all my houses over the years. It was especially helpful when I was pregnant and nesting. I have 4 kids so planning is important. Having to move all your furniture multiple times because you underestimated the space is the worst. I also love that I can redecorate over and over until I love it before I buy the actual product. I love everything about this app.

Great app, few issues. I absolutely love this app and work with it constantly to create design layouts. I love that objects are customizable. One thing I wish it had was the option to link a Pinterest account or ability to create your own items as far as furniture or decor. Recently, I’ve started getting issues with projects syncing to my phone. I almost always use my iPad to work on projects but if I’m on the go, i open the projects through my phone. The projects have not been syncing with the work I did on my iPad, so I’ve been losing lots of work. Another problem I’ve been having is the plants within the app they are just big white squares. Hope this can get fixed soon. I have had the yearly subscription for almost two years now.

Totally wasabi(awesome). I started playing this game two years ago, and it’s soooo fun. There is only one thing that I don’t like and it’s the locked items.i mean there are locked items in almost every game that you have to buy or earn, also there are design battles and they are just THE BOMB! If you don’t have this game get it, get it, get it!!!!! Also, if you click on edit when you click on a room you can change things, so for all the people that say there are no customizations there are you just gotta use your eyes.

Incredible app, but still can improve (monthly subscriber pov). I wish that there was a way to turn on and off lights similar to how you can open and shut the doors. The extensive ability to customize content is wonderful, however I do wish there was more to choose from, for example I personally find it to be lacking in the decor department (but that may just be a personal preference because i enjoy adding some clutter to bring the design to life). Other than those two features I struggle to come up with any specific issues that I have with the app, overall I would highly recommend checking this app out, even the free version is pretty great (from what i remember).

Incredible!. I’ve been using this app to design ideas for a cabin (just to picture what it would look like in 3D, I’m a visual thinker) and this app is PHENOMENAL. I’ve purchased the upgrade to have access to all items plus renders. Absolutely worth it. I’m loving the looks of every room! 5 stars for SURE! I do, however, wish it was possible to rotate an entire room so you don’t have to flip/ rotate every item when to decide to move a room to a different place. That would be perfect, but even without it, it’s a wonderful app!

Suggestion!. I’ve had this app for about a good year now and I still feel like we need more. Personally 1 thing I really want to see added is a custom hd image option for material. What I mean by that is how come there is no option to import your own images to use for the paint / material option. Like it would be awesome if for the tvs we could import images from our photo library so we can put our own stuff into it. If this whole thing is confusing all I am trying to say is why is there no custom image importing for the paints and materials (instead of the given brick, wood, etc.).
