Good but worse. I played about 6 years. The game is good,but worse. You know it’s sad that people got banned cursed, scammed, and hacked. It keeps happening,never stops. When I msg the moderators, I know they’re busy all the time helping. Other players. But one thing. The moderators quits the game, or need to do stuff in real life. If you can hire just a little mods, probably there’s a chance they ban all this bad players. And there will be few bad on the game. Anyways I learn a lot but, I learned that people being dumb and tricking others, like he gives them world locks says don’t get scammed. Then the’y accepted the trade, and the owner cancels the trade and ban them all it’s really dumb. I wish game go to the old day’s and Seth hamumu deal everything why do people hate on Ubisoft. He tried everything. Also please make the mods ban the troll laggy world it’s annoying. And it breaks people devises. People drop lot of seeds. But the game was good, until everyone hacks the mods and the game was good. But I’m going to end it I loved the game and miss it. Love armandude that got hacked and cursed sad bye.

It’s now dead. I loved this game in the beginning played it for around 4 years but it slowly died out. when Ubisoft bought it slowly died out.... I want to have more fun updates now this game is mostly about get a lot of dls spend all your money people to get dls and stuff it’s stupid now change the game to fun I can see a lot of people QUIT playing this game because of UBISOFT. In addition I got randomly ban! It said my device was ban because an account got ban but that was not mine. A lot of scammers has been going on and I just recently got scammed by evanicolas on the game. They scammed me by saying they would pay me 5 wl’s in exchange of my doing their farming and the game did nothing about it. I spent over $500 dollars on this game and all I get for that is to get scammed, hacked, and ban from the game. I don’t recommend this game to anyone it has become terrible and it’s not worth your time and money. If I could honestly rate this game 0 stars I would because that is just how bad this game is if your seeing this and want to download the game don’t do it.

Honest opinions. Hi! I’ve been playing gt for about 6 years now. Places that I’ve been, the hype I’ve seen in each unique worlds, people I’ve met. This game holds part of my childhood and I still love it a lot, though I do not play everyday but, I still log in sometimes to visit the ogs places or talk to my friends online. Most of my friends do not play anymore but sometimes on rare occasions I might see them and maybe say hi to them. Growing up with gt, I’ve learned many many things from there. I would love to thank the developers for keeping gt safe and the mods for their hard work. Thank you! Love you guys so so much. :) 😚. Dis my honest opinion: I LOVE Growtopia. I got scammed like maybe 2 times? These kinda scam made me realize that not everything is going to be or happen the way I want it to. And my mom tried to purchase a bag of gems once for me and the purchase didn’t go through, idk why, but I’m gland it didn’t, from there I learned how to grow my account and grow as a person trying to forgive the person who scammed me. I also love how MODS actually respond to your messages like they actually do care. I also love the new updates and fixes as we can see that Growtopia is trying to improve themselves daily. What ever complain we have, they’ll try their best to fix them. Really appreciate it! I’ll be back a year later.

My Honest Opinion. Hey, I just wanna say is that this game is really bad. I’m not trying to be rude or anything, I’m being really honest and I wanna speak up. First of all for the servers, everytime when I join or players join, it always disconnects, which then puts us to this screen that says “error connecting.” It happened to me like 5-10 times and I couldn’t log in GT so I had to wait like an hour for that. Second of all, there is a lot of spammers in GT that mods haven’t dealt with and the csn well. Third this game is bias. Maybe you guys are only listening to famous players like mrsongo or jamew7 or even Alperen. When Alperen tried scamming, the mods gave him a second chance, what about others? How about when people tries to talk to mods, they only listen to famous players like mrsongo. My point is that the moderators should interact with players and see what they have to talk about. Maybe it’s something important. Anyway I really hope this game improves in the future, but for now I’m not addicted to this game anymore. Tips on how to improve the game, FIX THE SERVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4/5 Stars, Why?. This game is a 4/5 Stars because of several reasons. Here’s the pros &’ cons. Pros: - Many players online daily - Good leveling system - New moderators - Cool Item of the Months - Huge world sandbox - Many types of locks - Cool items - WLS are fairly easy to obtain - Growtopia YouTubers - Legendary Quests - Many events annually Cons: - Too Many scammers - Too Many scams - There should be more moderators online at one time. - Backpack space is annoying to deal with - Obtaining gems is difficult even through farming. The only way to get gems fast is buy buying them w/ $ or WLS from other players. - There shouldn’t be a max cap for how many friends you can have. - Too Many toxic players - Players should be able to cancel role quests because what if they cannot do the quest they are assigned? - Too Many hackers - Servers are very slow &’ shut down frequently - Monthly bundle shouldn’t be $30, the tokens are hardly worth the price & 200k gems is certainly only worth like 9-15$. - Ubisoft needs to advertise Growtopia more if they want a bigger community - People sell DLS and accounts for actual money on the daily - Ringmaster is so not worth it, you have chances of getting really trash rings. There should be a change to the ringmaster where you can choose what ring you want, and you would be given tasks according to the ring. ITS ADDICTIVE!. I absolutely love this game. I have been playing for over 5 years. This game will make you come back to it if you quit. It has a thing about it that no body can explain but it’s very addictive. I love this kind of addiction since it isn’t as harmful as other addictions. However, the only think that I don’t like is when you get hacked. I have ever shared my information to anybody. But I still got hacked over 50dls worth of items and 26 pure dls. I don’t understand why the game can’t look into your account and see if you actually got hacked to give back the stuff that you lost. However, I still love the game and everything about it so I am 100% sure it deserves a 5 star review. Thanks for taking time to read it :). I know it was long but I had a lot to say. This game is bad. This game is awful and I’m not here to talk about scammer and hackers those are avoidable but I’m here to talk about the gameplay it’s awful are you surprised they aversive the game like you go one all of these adventure and stuff but all you do is farm and farming is boring it’s a chore to do and that it you can do but you can make friends but community is toxic I’ve played this game for years when it was a lot newer and back then there was a lot of humble people just there to have fun now people only care about currency that is WORTHLESS and all you can do with it is flex with it and people do toxic things for it like casinos trying to break the economy things like that it’s sad I wish I had a time machine where I can go back to the good old days all my friends got bored of this game I hope the people who play this game and do toxic things realize that they are wasting their time oh yeah this game is extremely unrewarding all you get is cosmetic items and that is boring to me I’m quitting this game it will never change and Ubisoft is also trying to make all the nostalgia and fun gone if you are reading this and you want to find a better sandbox game play Minecraft and terraria those games are fun and a blast to play with friends and those devs actually care about there community that all I have to say about this game if this review isn’t enough to convince you that this game is bad I don’t know what whould.

Waiting?. I understand that you’re crew is busy because it’s Christmas Eve but I’ve sent an email to your team about how when I was trading 6 vend for 28wl it was all normal we talked a little and then I noticed when he traded me the 28wl it came from his account to mine as 2wl and I was so mad at this because that just wasted more than 5 dollars on the gems I bought for wl that’s what happened I sent the email 3 days ago and I feel that I’m going to get an email saying “sorry we can not help that your account was hacked you should have made your password better” well guess what my password is short but full of numbers and no I didn’t give out my password apparently it has happened to other people too I saw lots of people talking about it on the forums well now hackers have learned to hack the trading wall what I mean is when the items are being sent through the hackers can just take it because there is no firewall at all in growtopia if someone finds out how to do it worse than any other then all hell is unleashed on growtopia

A constantly changing game. I have played Growtopia for a little over 8 years I believe now. There are a lot of ups and downs to this game. The game itself is fun if your looking to hang out with people you meet or create worlds to just have an overall good time. There is a ton of fun stuff to do in this game such as fishing, surgery, startopian adventures, parkour, crime fighting, building your own worlds, and even profiting/creating items and wearables. There are a few downsides to this game, such as: scammers, hackers, bots, and overloaded servers (normally during the nighttime). But once you learn for yourself and get past the bad parts of the game it becomes a lot of fun. Personally what I love the most is getting my hands on new and fun items when they come out usually every few weeks. This game isn’t pay to win which is super nice. Love this game and continue playing the game with over 7k hrs now! Will always be a Growtopian. ❤️

Terrible customer support. I have children that play on the same device and they made a purchase without my permission and so I refunded it without spending what they bought and then I permanently got banned, I was also never issued the refund too so they basically took my money and banned me. I took it to customer support and they wouldn’t even bother unbanning or issue a refund, all they did was state the problem and they also didn’t even bother to investigate it. Then I simply ask a question and they told me they won’t be answering anything from me about the topic and if I keep emailing them about it they’d ban me from their support channel which is ridiculous!! At thais point I don’t believe i’ll be getting unbanned or refunded. For anyone, if you accidentally buy an in app purchase, don’t refund it, you’ll get banned and won’t even be issued a refund and sometimes you don’t receive the IAP because the terrible servers. Don’t even risk it by buying anything, it is simply not worth it!

its ok. Overall, this game is pretty decent. It’s not exactly bad nor good. Of course there’s scammers and hackers, what do you expect? People will always want to ruin the experience for other players, that’s just how it is. But why hate on the game just because of other peoples’ mistakes? Sure, maybe moderators can stop scams or something illegal, but they have LIVES when they’re offline. They won’t always be there to stop every single scam. Also, you don’t HAVE to use money on this game. It’s extremely possible to make in-game currency without paying. If you wanted a quick head start, sure, use a few bucks. It’s all on you and no developer of this game is forcing you. And sure, this game could get boring every now and then, I’m not gonna lie. You might have to get a little creative or, yes, use your imagination. Meet new people on here and get some good friends- Because I have. There’s amazing people playing this game and there’s so many things you can do, they just might be hard to think of: that’s the type of game this is.

I wish I could rate 5 stars. As a long time player, playing since 2014 the game was the best game on the phone you could get in my opinion. I had so many great memories with friends and cousins that I wouldn’t trade for anything. S/O to Creatorr and aldert if you’re seeing this! Haven’t been able to see, talk, or contact you since making an new acc due to hacking. But, nonetheless this game is so enjoyable and has endless opportunities, it also is fun to learn things and put that knowledge into making wls. Although I say good things about this game, it has become unbearable to play. I just started playing again after almost 2 years and the servers are atrocious. I disconnect almost every 2 minutes, my game freezes every couple seconds and it is impossible to have an enjoyable time. It never used to be like this with my older phone 2 years ago, and now i have the newest phone you can buy and a $600 computer so I know it’s not me. Plus I see so many people complain about the servers so I know its just not me who is annoyed by this. Although I love the game, I can’t rate 5 until the severs are fixed!

Terrible tutorial. This seemed like fun game but... I started and it sent me into a tutorial world. All well and good. In this tutorial it mentions that it is important to lock your world, but fails to tell you how. Then it sent me to my own world, where it continued the tutorial process, however, before it got to the point where it taught me how to lock my world and keep people out, people were swarming me. Some were nice, and some were not, but they all distracted me and made it impossible to continue. First person wanted to give me stuff. Nice, but I find no fun in being given stuff. What’s the point in playing then? By the time I had declined, he had already dropped things and they were in my inventory. Oh well, no real biggie. Next few people came and started spamming things all over. Not fun, and now impossible for me to continue my beginner task. Someone cleaned it up for me (thanks, whoever!). I was trying to skip ahead of the beginner tutorial and lock people out so I could learn in peace, but couldn’t figure it out. Then someone came in and tried to show me a lock. Thanks, but by this point I had decided to sign off and delete the game. Nothing like tons of unwanted guests when you are trying to learn something new. Devs: my suggestion is to put how to lock things in the tutorial world, or else automatically set new worlds to private.

BEST GAME EVVERR. When I first got this game, I thought like many others; this is another stupid Minecraft ripoff, it looks SO stupid!! My friend who introduced me had asked me to her some time to try to show me this game, she used to be a legend but her brother trashed all her stuff!! I have her my time and got obsessed with this game, I’d play for hours none stop. So I say no matter how stupid it first seems; try and learn the beautiful concept. Learn about different people from ALL OVER the world. And let Growtopia show you some harsh reality’s in real life like scamming other acting (don’t trust anyone you don’t know) So don’t judge Growtopia by what it first looks like because it is my favorite game and hard work creates you to be more pro and create beautiful worlds with the most wonderful music. And no matter how many times you get scammed of hacked, NEVER QUIT! You should defiantly download Growtopia and see for yourself, how great of a game this is! :)

Wow.. has this game when i was in 4th grade. (11th grade now) so much things has changed. didn’t have a growID for a while but when i finally made one, i got hacked. made a new account and forgot my password, then my current account, i can’t change my password because the email i used back then was my email when i was around 5th grade and i totally forgot since i have a new device, email, and etc. been afraid to play because of the spike of hackers / scammers. hope i could change my password because i really want to keep my account and not make a new one. I love this game, played it when it was at it’s peak. Hakanss, CocoMonkey, Squiggy13, Wicker10, all those cool youtubers but i completely stopped being active once Ubisoft took over. feels wayyyyy different. Still keep the game because it’s so nostalgic. i would rate 5/5 if not for the current toxic community :/ . love growtopia 4ever😂

Wish I could give it 5. This game is definitely worthy of 5 stars, but unfortunately the community of the game is so horrible that I have to give it one. I know it’s not 100% the games fault but at the same time is truly is. The moderators refuse to help the community and the tech support is even worse. There are countless glitches for people to steal, hack, and scam you and it’s only getting worse. The reason I feel I need to write this review now is because one of the fundamental parts of this game has just been abused by the community and turned into an unfair and unbeatable way to steal your items. One of the biggest things you do in this game is trade and the safest way to do so is through an legitimate trade via the implemented menus, but today even that has failed me. I used this supposedly “only safe way” of trading and ended up losing a bunch of items and not getting the other items offered in return. I don’t even know how that’s possible. But it is. Basically if you like working hard only to have it stolen time and time again no matter how much you follow the rules then play this game, if not, don’t.

It’s alright 🤷🏻‍♀️. Ok so first of all the servers always update. Like always especially when I’m farming or something. Second, waaaaay too many scammers and hackers in the game. There are so many ppl quitting and getting hacked. Some ppl fake that they’re quitting just to scam ppl. Oh btw, theres this scam where ppl would broadcast “I’m quitting gt got scammed come donate prize 30 ELA” or something like that. When u go to that word, you’ll see a bunch of donation boxes and the owner will say donate to win highest donation wins and it’s just ridiculous🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I don’t understand why ppl need to donate to u when you’re quitting straight up bs. Also another thing, there are a bunch of spammers in a lot of trade worlds. I would report a few here and there. But instead, there would just be even more. THE MODS DONT DO THEIR JOBS!! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ There are so many casinos and other illegal worlds yet they still don’t remove any of them. Maybe some here and there, but overall it’s just way to many. So many ppl betting, quitting, scamming, and hacking because MODS DONT DO THEIR JOBS. But like I understand if they have other things to do, but there are more than just one or two moderators. In conclusion, I’m very disappointed. The funny thing is, that all of the things I mentioned occurred once Ubisoft purchased the game 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️. Pls see this growtopia devs. So I have played this game for a long time now roughly around 2 and a half years. And I have seen it’s ups and downs but a month back I bought my dream the ray man fist I saved for almost 2 years and I was happy with it. Then one day I woke up and I could not equip it or take it off at first I had herd of duped items not being able to pick up. And I also herd that you won’t be able to drop or trade dls until a fix in a dupe glitch. So I tried playing the waiting game. I waited until the next patch and after school I got on GT and it still wasn’t fixed I even waited until another patch update. Nothing happened. At this point I’m frustrated because it may have been a duped item but how could I have known it was duped. He sold it for the same price as others he didn’t say it was duped nor try to scam it was legit trade, just it wasn’t legit on how he got the item so I spent a lot of time on this and GT devs should notice this cause it costed me a lot of time for my item to be unable to be used.

Sad how it turned out. Growtopia was amazing, i remember i played it like a few months after its release and i was instantly addicted. It was honestly just such a good time. The friends i made on there are still my friends now years later and we’ve even flew out and met each other. friends u make there actually last a life time. I revisited the game for nostalgia and now its impossible to find an actual world and meet people, all it is now it worlds with random names with a portal next to spawn that takes you to a different world with another portal that just takes you to a stupid casino, drop game, or a world no longer accessible. The game blew up in Indonesia and its like the main player base now and i have such a difficult time making friends on the game cuz its nearly impossible for me to find someone who speaks english and the very few that i do find are toxic because im not as rich as them, (my set used to be very pricey back in the day) anyways yeah, its nearly impossible to make friends because theres no social worlds anymore, every single world is just a casino, drop game, or someones farm world. Sad to see the game and how it is now..

I love this game so much❤️💕❣️. Growtopia is my favorite game! I’ve been playing for 4 years, and those 4 years have been the best. I have so many good friends that I made in this game, for example, my first friend that I ever made in GT still talks to me, she Is so kind and she’s really funny! Thank you for all of the memories Hannahlak. This game has gotten me through middle school, and honestly, I still play it in high school. I’m kind of a pro I guess, but I don’t like to brag about it. Instead I like to donate to the new players! There’s really no use for WLS anymore because the creators got rid of casinos. But you can still buy stuff with them, make worlds, or you can give them to new players! I love this game so much, and I hope you do too! AMAZING GAME...but. Growtopia is fun and all but it just gets annoying when your just trying to play a game and there’s consataly people yelling FREE WL IN SO AND SO WORLD and people hacking is annoying my friend got hacked for 68 wl then he got 15 wl and got hacked for that then he got hacked for 20 wl so why can’t you stop the hackers I mean it’s your game and you should be able to control it and minimize the scammers like have a system that can catch them like how China has the great fire wall to block people from the web you don’t need to make it that extreme but pls fix because me and all my friend s love growtopia and say it’s the best game we ever played so if you can fix ill give 5 stars and I will tell all my other friends that don’t know what growtopia is to play and so we can all have a nice and peaceful community thank you for your time(p.s I’m only 12 so I kinda bad at spelling lol sorry)

Bad customer support. I have played growtopia since 2013 and I really like it but the mods and developers do not seem to really care about their players. I entered the world "TROLLFACEBAN" where players were on the white door punching and dropping items on the right side of the white door. I went to pick up the items and the players punched me over a checkpoint and into an empty space with a mushroom below it and a lava cube above it. It caused me to die then when I re spawned I was auto-banned by the system for 60 days. On the growtopia support site I appealed for the unjust ban to be removed and reported the world but nothing was ever done and they have not replied to me for weeks. Even if they have a lot of issues to take care of reading the reports made by players should be one of them. if not, then I will quit playing this game even after the ban is removed. (Update: I have received a response from the developers and had the faulty ban has been removed. Thanks to them, and 5 star rating restored.)

Fun only if you have a purpose/goal to achieve. I downloaded this game about 3 years ago. I saw my friends playing it and I was curious. Growtopia is an interesting sandbox game. You can dress your growtopian avatar up and try to look pro. Or you can also just farm and earn gems and world locks. World locks, diamond locks, etc are a nice form of currency in growtopia, but one thing that is especially annoying is spammers and scammers. Make sure to change your password once in a while to prevent hackers from stealing your stuff in your account. Don’t get tricked into entering your password into any websites claiming free world locks and whatnot. Growtopia used to constantly amaze me, because I didn’t play that much. But now that I am able to play, it is starting to get boring. When Ubisoft acquired the game, about a year ago, I was expecting change or at least some decent updates considering the fact how Ubisoft is a large company. However, once Seth and Hamumu sold it, there’s isn’t much fun anymore.

Record Ban. Well, I never actually played this game. I heard about it on another game, downloaded it, and was instantly IP banned. Apparently, Xfinity has given me an IP number that’s already on Growtopia’s banlist. I’m sure all I need to do is cycle my router, but it made me wonder why they would need to use such an aggressive, low-tech policing method. So, I read the reviews, and did some research. I have to say that it all sounds a bit dramatic and sordid. It seems like it’s meant for feral 12-14 year olds, and apparently has no community standards beyond “if you get noticed by a moderator or a scammer, you’re well and truly screwed.” I bet there’s more than a few sociology research projects available there, but I’m not sure it’s worth my time. I’ll leave the icon on my iPad and try it again next time I run into it. (By the time I get back to page 16 of my home screen, I’m sure I’ll have a new IP.) But, til then, I wanted to warn others that the main point of this game seems to be that everything you acquire - even the stuff you pay real money for - is fair game for scammers and thieves. Your job is to try to fend them off long enough to gain some sort of lock or security. In fact, it seems the scammers and thieves are integral to the game and provide the primary content. Great playground for 12 year olds, right? If I’m reading all this wrong, sorry. Perhaps if I hadn’t been banned before I even logged on for the first time, I’d have a more accurate picture.

Ehh. I used to love this game a year ago because I started and played, but as I played, I went into a world and owner pulled me into 2 pinballs and I was banned for 80 days or something. When it’s over, I attempt to play, but it’s permanently banned. I made new accounts, but the other one was my favorite and it’s banned. I emailed the support people and they said I need an email, but I don’t remember my email because it was one of those emails when u don’t have an email and u just make one up, and I couldn’t get it back. But I didn’t even do anything! Btw, the name was Micklypants. I really miss the account, and even though I sort of understand why they wouldn’t give me back the account, I am really angry because others who fall for that might lose their accounts too. Overall, it’s a really good game, you can meet new people and make friends, but scammers are annoying.

Almost the best game I ever played. So first of the one thing that I don’t like about it is that all the mods don’t answer to people all they do is go to popular people not doing there job, also I have played this game for many months I spent TONS of 💰on it, and I know when I spend tons of money on a game I love the game so I appreciate your game it’s just mods don’t do what they are suppose to do they also banned my friend for 729 days for no reason can you unban him, another thing I hate about the game is that the items cost way too much, and people always call me a noob for no reason it’s so annoying can you watch on that stuff a little more and give them ⚠️ warnings because I just don’t like it so please please please please watch for it, also can I have mod I think I would be a good mod my name is Realwhinder and my last thing to you is keep up the work this game is SOO amazing I love it.

Great Concept but TERRIBLE support. As a long time supporter of this game, I think that this game started out with a great concept and Seth + Hamumu executed it perfectly. A lot of very nice people were on the platform (except for a select few). Once Ubisoft bought the game, things went downhill FAST. Sure, the game got more popular, but this brought on hundreds and hundreds of greedy and toxic people. I previously said in a review I wrote two years ago that you should blame yourself for getting scammed, not the mods. Looking back, I STRONGLY disagree. This game has VERY TERRIBLE support, the mods don't give a crap about the poor growtopians who have gotten scammed. There are even some stories where these said growtopians get banned from the game for NO REASON. TL;DR, This game started out with a great concept but went downhill once Ubisoft bought the game. For any newcomers, I recommend getting Pixel Worlds instead, it may be more challenging, but at least you won't get scammed.

Great game but banned for no reason. So basically when I first played the game is like 2016 I didn’t know what I was playing that the time until 2018 came I finaly understood what I was playing now that I think about it it’s a really great game but although there is a Dark side in grow topia hackers scammers and other people the first let’s talk about the banning situation so I’ve been banned like 4 and all of them were for spamming random stuff in the “are you human” thingy and I don’t think that’s something that you should get banned for you just don’t know that math answers that’s all but this time I was being very serious looking for a good math question cuz I’m bad at math as I’m looking threw “are you human” i couldn’t find a good math question and it just kept giving me the hardest questions that really got me mad cuz like I’ve said I got banned many times for that and I finally got banned but it wasn’t for a good reason I was only looking for a good math question that’s all but I still like ur game

Bought Road To Glory and didn’t get any, and now my phone won’t let me play geowtopia either.. So I bought road to glory on Froday September 25,2020, And it didn’t give me even a single gem, costs 25$ got nothing, willing to send proof, I have a video of me buying and constantly repeating to go back to growtopia because it wasnt working, I even had to restart and phone and still nothing. When I played through my laptop, I accessed my account, went to road to glory and it says I have to buy it, despite the fact that I bought that pack not long ago. Ubisoft, really, is this a new type of scam? I bet thousands of kids out there also got this issue. Update: October 5th I already contacted Ubisoft support ever since I bought the gems and haven’t received them and they closed my case! Ubisoft I cant take this, what is wrong with you? You take my money and just close my case, this is unbelievable!

Great Game not so Great Community. Growtopia is a game where you can build, grow, farm, and most importantly, get rich. I find this concept really interesting and makes this game very fun. I only rated Growtopia 4 stars becuse the actually community is mostly made up of toxic people, scammers, or hackers. Scammers really make an impact on the hame becuase they will trick you into “dropping” your items, then they will steal them. Hackers will speed hack to let them run really fast, or necome invincible. This doesn’t sound bad at first, but then people do “giveaways” where they giveaway some of their “world locks” or currency. The hacker will then speed and health hack to give him/herself a very high chance or winning the giveaway. Toxic players are just mean and rude. If the developers were to ban all or even just most of these types of people I would rate this game 5 stars for the idea of a game that simulates a real world economic system.

It’s gets worse once you get used to it. When you first play the game, it’s not too bad. There’s farming and many ways to get money. You have a lot of fun playing it. However, the bad things in the game definitely weigh out the good things. For example, the people. Most of them don’t even know basic math and you can’t trust any of them unless you know them in real life. A lot of them don’t even speak English. Another thing you’ll experience are things like the amount of players in worlds are capped at 60 so it would be hard to join worlds you want to. Also, maintenance breaks are absolutely annoying. They take hours. Oh and the lag/delay.... don’t even get me started. Some of them time, lag is not even based on your device or WiFi, I’ve been to some worlds where everyone is lagging similarly. In addition, it’s almost impossible to buy expensive items without losing world locks. Every time I buy an expensive item the price is always changing and most of them time it drops instead of rises. Playing the game is basically only fun if you’re rich or you have friends in real life that play it. Other than that, you’ll have a lot of time doing nothing and joining random worlds.

Rollback. Well i don’t know much about rollback but all i know is that it resets players inventory’s and a specific time when the glitch or hack or issue happened, but the part that i don’t get is that why would they take away my gaia and tesseract of manipulators? i have worked hard to get those, countless days playing to get those, also have it in mind that i bought these items like what, 2 months ago? I know that i can contact growtopia but they must be getting a lot of complains already so i guess this is the best way to do so, i really hope i get my items back and also good luck to those who lost many countless items. You would be surprised to how much people lost stuff because of this. Fix this please Ubisoft. My Growid : PlayBoiJavi , hopes this gets resolved.

A once great game, ruined by greed. I have been playing Growtopia for well over 8 years. With some breaks in between. I’ve racked up well over 5 thousand hours of playtime. This game used to be amazing. It was small. Ran well. And the creators Seth and Mike always had the players best interest in mind. A few years back when Ubisoft bought the game, it all started going downhill. Useless updates. Gem store being made extremely cheaper causing the economy to fluctuate dramatically. Over the last two years inflation has become astronomical. NOTHING is done about casino worlds that STILL run rampant. With huge clans of players making thousands of illegal diamond locks through these methods and selling them for real money. Support is a nightmare. My main account with over 4 thousand hours of playtime was banned for absolutely no reason whatsoever. And support basically said “Your problem”. Ubisoft is just milking money from this game until it eventually dies. This game used to be so great. You could meet tons of people from all over the world. Make great friends. Some of which I still talk to to this day and have met up with in real life. If you’re and OG player like me you can easily relate. Sorry for the long review. It just breaks my heart to see the state of this game today. Thank you.

GT. Growtopia is a great game that is genuinely fun. But I’ve played for what I’d say is nearly 5 years, and the updates are really ruining it. The creators either make rare things invaluable by making it easier to get, or make it impossible to have unless you’re saving up hundred of thousands of the most expensive currency; world locks. The updates are just cranked out and honestly unnecessary, the creators are just looking for something to add. To really get a lot of the achievements you have to play way-over-dedicatedly, and that’s a lot coming from someone who’s been playing for 5 years! The format doesn’t even work well on iPhone X, and I’ve sent in multiple complaints about it. There’s also always new scams, and there’s been multiple resets in the game. Overall, it’s an okay experience, but after a while you realize how useless it is to continue playing when there will always be new things, and you’re rare objects become easier to get or impossible.

I want to give it 5 stars. Oh Growtopia, the many thing I have learned from you. I have played roughly 4 years and you have helped me through my most awkward time: middle school. Although there may be scammers and hackers, the friendships you make are the ones that will last! Don’t worry about WLS or stupid currency in the game, rather spend wls and get them moving! Donate to a new player! Help someone break their farmables for free! Seth and Hamumu gave a great basis to build off of, but sadly UBISOFT has let another customer down. The old GT days were filled with endless chats, farming, and building. As a more seasoned player I have three words of advice. 1: Mods will never help you out, nor emailing the makers of the games... it’s sad but true. 2: Don’t ask for donations. Be patient and farm and splice your way up in the world! Farming has gotten me almost all the DLS I have ever had! 3: Find good friends... the friends you make on GT will last forever, and will always be loved! My friends helped shape who I am today and I would be no where in life without them and GT! Thanks Christine and Nid. Fun once you get used to it. Growtopia is definitely a game I love to play. The creators are always adding new updates and items which is awesome. I’ve made many friends from around the world through this game, it’s really a great community if you avoid dumb things like drop games and other obvious scamming events. My number one advice is to just be careful!! When trading, always take a few seconds to check the trade confirmation. Always avoid drop games no matter what. Don’t do anything suspicious. It’s that simple. And if you wanna be rich, don’t ask for donations. It’s ok to want to be rich but don’t bug other players. FARM! I know it sounds sad but if you want a head start, you might have to pay some money, then buy farmables and start farming. But your hard work will pay off. You don’t need to be rich anyways, you can talk to other players and play mini games if that’s your style. Growtopia is a game that takes a while to get the hang of, there are so many rules and little things that you need to know to really get the experience (and plus those rules keep Growtopia safe), but it’s fun. If you get scammed, it’s your own problem, not the creators’. I’ve been scammed at least 100wls worth of items in all my years of playing but trust me, it’s not that big of a deal, you’ll earn it back if you actually try. Just farm, it’s the only way you’ll earn your own riches.

Sorry its long. Growtopia brings people together from all over the world, and allows you to learn more about other countries. One thing I learned was that so many people are dumb and can't do basic math. That was really surprising. Having the majority of the players being very young, it doesn't take much to become "rich". The growtopian economy mimics the real world. Aside from this, there are also many aspects of this game which deviate it from others. There is a distinct music system which allows players to compose their own music, as well as listen to others. I personally find this the most intriguing, and it's what motivated me to learn more about music. The developers do all they can to make this game better. There are constant updates, new events, and new items. A bulk of the bad ratings are from little kids who were banned for justified reasons, and are still angry at support for not giving back their items. This game gives you a taste of the harsh reality of the real world. If you get scammed or hacked, it’s completely your own fault. Like seriously, all you need is a complex password. Also, it is completely possible to have a fun time without the need to pay money. Other players spending money dont affect your own gameplay. My advice is not to trust people you don't know irl with your items, no matter how authentic they may seem.

Not extremely terrible, but not great. The app doesn’t work a lot of times. I enter the game and get a lot of visual glitches, freezing up, crashing, not logging in and other nonsense. It’s definitely not my phone being bad, because it’s the newest iPhone. It’s really annoying and you should fix it. The game itself, well.. it’s a game, certainly. It’s fun grinding for items and sometimes finding cool people to talk to, but usually, it’s just riddled with toxicity. Since Ubisoft took over the amount of casinos, spammers and scammers seems to have increased. I genuinely don’t know whether to trust y’all and hope you’re trying or to ridicule you guys. The updates you keep releasing just seem to be for money milking, like the latest Pegasus or whatever event. The game seems to be unmoderated, because how is the recommended worlds full of casinos? How are people constantly superbroadcasting scams? It’s just ridiculous. The game’s been dying and you’re further killing it. Come on, Ubisoft, don’t let this wonderful game die.

Growtopia. Overall I have been playing this game for 4 years and it is one really addictive fun game to play once you understand what to do. And you get to collect items which make you look cool and show how long you have played. Unfortunately a lot of the community for this game is full of scammers which will try to take your items which could also mean stealing by doing tricks which can’t be reversed thus losing all of your stuff you worked hard for making you restart. This game is still fun but I quit this game on the day I’m writing this because I was scammed out of at least 15$ by a scam which completely ruined my hard work. Please be cautious when playing game and if you have problems with spending just don’t install because of how much money can be spent on this to eventually be thrown away

GT went downhill. Ever since I started playing Growtopia in 2015 i had no idea of the long time I would spend on that game, I was addicted to that game it was so fun from the beginning until Ubisoft bought it, from that point on Seth and Hamumu gave up a great game to a popular game company. Since that happened more and more players have joined, and with all of the people come scammers, I know all of the moderators and developers cannot do anything to prevent this from happening for example being at every single scam in Growtopia, it’s just not possible. It took me almost 3 years of playing Growtopia just to reach 3 diamond locks and then scammed, hacked, and played. I pulled 3 or 4 all nighters just to play growtopia. Now the game is honest to God “trash” waiting to be thrown away. I highly do NOT recommend this game to anyone who is reading this review. There are too many scammers and hackers in Growtopia. And also if you are young please do not attempt playing this game, there is too much language, cyber-bullying, rudeness, sexuality, gender equality and racial discrimination involved and I did not like it.

I have recently got hacked because of this thing on my computer and I emailed them about this and they responded the next day but then never again. Every day I wait for them to respond but they never answer. The game is really fun you do farming, spending world locks, profiting, etc. The game takes a lot of time to become rich but then you farm you are rich! I wanna go back to the past Growtopia.... I have played this game since 2014? or like 2015 and I always have fun in this game its just like a normal game which is about having fun, but I played Growtopia again like 2016 and the thing that disappoints me is... Well all of my friends when i warp them I see them farming, which makes me think that this game is about Wls and Dls and thing, and makes me lonely... When I played this game when it was 2014 my friends and I dont really think about getting Wls and being pro we were just making happy worlds without a Wl, with just an Sl,Bl,Hl and we were so happy with the world we made... We actually make worlds about military things. I wish Growtopia can be like just a normal game like when I was playing in 2014 and now there are really many scammers and Casino. When I go to START many spammers are saying GO TO WORLD blablabla WHO PLAY CSN blablabla like that and it makes me think that Growtopia has changed. But its a nice game though

I can’t even start again. A few years back, I used to play Growtopia a decent amount, doing minor farming and such, and I recently decided to come back and start fresh. I made an account, made a fresh world, and within five seconds of me being there, multiple people were there immediately asking if they wanted to trade. I said no, as literally the best thing I had was dirt wall seeds. After refusing, they immediately world locked my world, forced me within a confines of dirt, and kept harassing me about about a noob scam. They then proceeded to have several trades and scam others while I asked if I could have my world back. Immediately got kicked and banned from my own world. So, I decided hey, let’s make another one world then. Same exact thing with different people happened. Mods were no help after I contacted them. This is complete bs, and I honestly am disappointed to see how much this game has gone downhill to allow something somewhat equivalent to an international crime ring happen within their own game.

My Growid is AnimeSkills Ubisoft can you guys unban my account I been suspended for 2 years and I want to be able to play again, It was a lot fun to this game and now banned (Heart Breaking). I know it was wrong-doing but i wish Mods/Developer would give a warning before banning me and I'd do something so that I wouldn't be banned. Please PLEASE Any mods/Game Developer give me a chance to redeem myself for Allowing people doing auto in my world and I won't make the same mistake. You guys can do it, I already summited a form but no responds as of yet. I can't do anything but feel unfortunate. Any Growtopia Developers who see this, Please Reply and do something instead of sending links with form input (It feels pointless, I've seen other feedback same result and they probably couldn't get back what they lost) and just do something within your power. It Ruined Itself. Essentially the main goal of gt is to get rich, meet people, and have fun. Obviously most people only care about the first option which is to get rich. One of the ways a growtopian can get rich is by playing in a casino which is a totally real and legitimate thing that you can do IN REAL LIFE! However, growtopia made this illegal even though the federal government accepts it. Now here’s what tends to happen, people play casino, they win some, then they lose cause that’s how a casino works, then they get all mad and report the world resulting in many people getting banned or cursed for that one person losing or getting upset. This shouldn’t happen, if the casino itself isn’t scamming and it’s just one admin, ban that admin, if someone is being a sore loser, don’t even bother. If casinos are so bad why don’t you just remove the roulette wheel, the dice, and the Rock Paper Scissors? It’s because you know many of your beloved pros and youtubers use casinos to get rich, I even have proof of this as I’ve seen Swe, Wicker, and Zwane playing and earning wls in a casino! This was recent like 3-4 months ago! So yeah, thanks for banning me and a bunch of others when we did nothing wrong simply because you don’t want the sore losers with the rich moms to leave

I can’t blame you for others mistakes. It’s a perfect game, except for when they scam and hack and use their friends account who happens to be my friend. I got scammed so much that I quit 17 times. There are great ways to avoid scamming, but you can’t avoid hacking!!! Unless you are a hacker (I’m not). Growtopia has always been fun for me because of profits and all the dirt to < > series and road to < >. All in all, I’m giving this a 5/5 not because I like it, but because Seth and Hamumu and Ubidev worked hard making this, and people are just hacking, scamming, being hacked/scammed, and it isn’t your fault they have to do this because you just wanted a nice and peaceful game, so I understand you banning people, cursing them, and one thing I don’t understand is HELL. Why was it banned? There are worst words. I’m not going PG but seriously. My best guess is that you don’t want people making fun of the cursed. You should also remove the fact that cursed people can go to seasonal worlds. The cursed shouldn’t really be cursed because sometimes they just enter a world and get cursed. I find it unfair for those people, so you should at least have HELL be start.

I’ve played 6 years and it’s still fun!. The devs are constantly adding new updates trying to make the game better. Some people say this game is terrible there are way too many scammers/hackers. Well, it’s really easy to not get hacked or scammed and if you do it’s completely your fault. How to prevent your account getting hacked? Don’t tell anyone your password, don’t download anything growtopia related or download any files from growtopia players. How to prevent getting scammed? Don’t give anyone your items don’t trust anyone. It’s really that simple and some people think that’s not good. Well in real life would you trust a random person $50,000? No you wouldn’t. So why do it in a game? Overall, this is a great game and really fun but I just wanted to point out why it has some bad reviews.

Fun At First. I don’t usually write reviews but I’ve played Growtopia since 2014 and I remember how exciting it was to build with my friends and roleplay. As the years went by, more and more of my friends quit. Of course, Growtopia was still fun. There isn’t really an “end” or a way to “win” but I just kinda ran out of things to do and that was when it became boring. If you’re new and you’re considering trying this game out, I definitely recommend it. Growtopia can really help teach you about how to deal with scammers, hackers, techniques in trading items, and the fluctuations of a player-based economy. Just be careful about playing too much because the game can be quite addicting. Also, the controls and concepts of the game can be hard to understand, so try to get through the tutorials. It can be tough for beginners to become rich. Anyways, have a nice day.

It’s been a good 6 years so far and still going!. Hey guys :) as most of you know Ubisoft has bought this game about 2 years ago but I’m happy to say that this game has changed my life in many ways. I start the game when I was just 10 and now I am going to be 16 in 3 months! This game is so amazing because you get to meet people all over the world and get to create friendships that never end! Yes maybe once or twice your even many times you may get scammed but from a person who has learned form his mistakes the game is just common sense 😂listen to your gut and you’ll start a journey that will keep you playing for years to come trust me. And yea the addiction is real but sometimes it’s good to take breaks occasionally I take 3-4 month breaks during studying seasons of school but either then that I’m a A+ student and I am currently on my way to becoming a med student! Hopefully 😅

Ok so, I have been playing Growtopia for about roughly 2-3 years now and I have learned A LOT from it, for example what to do and what not to do like do not host drop games or be in a drop game, it is an easy way to get scammed. Also if you see a “Global server Message” saying “YOU WON SOME DIMOND LOCKS, CLAIM THE AT THIS WEBSITE” DO NOT GO TO THE WEBSITE AND PUT IN YOUR INFO! You will get hacked and most of your stuff will be gone, I did it once and I deeply regret it, I had to make a new acc and it was not fun. But a few good things are... 1. You make awesome friends 2. Farming is awesome and when you farm you earn different items and gems. 3. You can have tons of fun, For example, There is puzzles, Parkour worlds, story worlds(worlds with signs the tell cool stories) worlds where you can buy and sell items, but be careful no to get scammed (etc). When you buy or earn World locks you can buy and add stuff to you world, dress up in cool unique clothes (etc). And yes this is a young 10 year old child the wrote this, so the grammar and word choice may not be the best sry. Also Don’t trust ANYONE unless you know them really well in real life, If you do not know them watch out, It’s a huge easy way to get scammed or hacked. And NEVER NEVER tell you password or growId to anyone, It’s a way to get hacked or scammed. Hoped this helped but otherwise it’s a fun and great game!

It’s not much of a game anymore. I swear it’s all about stealing items now, every world i tap on is either a casino, drop game or a noob world (idm about that one so much though, that’s not that bad). It is a bit hard on beginners too because when i was a kid i used to try and make the best world so when the ‘moderators’ came they would like it and give me free grow tokens. That’s how i thought you got grow tokens. Anyway, it’s all about being the best scammer and stealing the most items because they want to be rich.

I need help. This game is basically my whole childhood I’ve been playing since 2015 my lil brothers started playing as well but they started scamming people and doing casino on my device so I was banned for a few years. But the ban wore off eventually and I had to change accounts because my little brothers would use mine so I did but because my little brothers also got every device banned I had to drop it in a world and then quickly pick it up on another account but in the process I got scammed because someone found my world please help.

Scammers, hackers, unbelievable amount of spammers. Games been dead. Mod/ubisoft support doesnt care about the things that ruins the game. Only thing they care abt is if you buy bgls/ingame currency and not give them money for it 💀. If you get scammed or hacked good luck getting help from their team. And dont get me started on a casinos + spam bots that message you that u have to block individually. YES people use in game currency to go to worlds to play illegal games to earn REAL money which they dont get banned unless reported because mods are only worried about people buying bgls. Make use of report button. The game is good overall there is endless fun but there are scammers who take your wls and my brother keeps on getting scammed and he hits me if I don’t so I have to give him it but I’m running out of wls. And the report button it’s useless it does nothing I reported 20 scammers and they didn’t get banned,please make use of it.

A few thing to improve. I think that the game is very fun to play but making the servers better could be the first thing to fix. Every time I play the servers get very laggy. Miss if your seeing this please make the game less laggy lots of people love it. Thank you

It used to be about making friends and building worlds with them. Now it’s only about making the most world locks, competing against eachother, casinos, hackers, scammers, bots, vending machines - its all so lifeless. It gets so boring after awhile because nowadays people arent in it for the love and friendship. Im sad to let this game go because I was there since it first started in 2012. I guess we just get older but idk, it hurts to see this game go such a depressing route.

Uhm.... So when that maintenance thing happened yesterday I was a bit shocked to find out that an item I sold was back in my inventory, my world locks gone, and my hair dyed blue not red. I have no clue what’s happened here but that’s really annoying because now I have to waste ages to sell my item again which is so hard to sell. Please make sure this doesn’t happen again and so far I’m the only one this happened to. Still a great game.

Been better. When it was owned by Seth and Hamumu I found that it was somewhat better, tho in saying that I also know that long term. I think Ubisoft is going to be able to improve it, and allow the game to move forwards more than what Seth and hamumu would of had the resources to do. But at the moment, there’s so many hacking, glitches, and server crashes. I think it’s a great game, heaps of fun, it just needs a lot of improvement.

Great game, but.. the server is potato. This is the best Non-High-End device in my opinion. But just fix the servers, that’s it. Other than that, this is probably a great game. From the old gamer, played 6 years ago. Thanks for the work. Appreciate it.

Banned for no reason. I was playing Growtopia one night when i decided to hop off for abit. Ive logged on 30 minutes later and saw that my account was banned. This was when Growtopia was going through some glitches and peoples items were going missing. So i thought this ban was a glitch so i waited. After ive heard that ubisoft had patched the glitch ive logged back on to see that my account was still banned for 730 days! I still believed it was a glitch and i checked every few hours to every few days. Its been atleast 2-3 months now and im still banned.

A game with promise, ruined.. This game used to have strong social aspects, but in recent years the platform has been overran with scammers and “casinos”. Most social aspects are dead, and the game is mostly just about profiting now. If you log in you’re greeted with nothing but a list of casino worlds with incomprehensible names most of which are barely in English, and you, the player, are left with little to do other than trade or get rich. It’s a dog-eat-dog world now, and not the one I grew up with.

Good Game but annoyed. It is an awesome game! Very fun to play and addictive. But when i logged on, i found that 2 of my favourite items were missing. My dragon and unicorn must have said BYE BYE and left. People would constantly harass me about trading my dragon but i would never agree. My unicorn, well i never really showed it in public. I dont know how much they both were, but if you dont give me a refund or both items back, dont expect me to spend anymore money on your game. I may even delete it. Also, I got a dragon again and once again it is missing. I noticed it while I was farming, if you could at least give me 100,000 diamonds as a refund or my 2 dragons back, or my unicorn... please do so!

Stupid mods. So, I played Growtopia for like years now and I loved the game and everything about it, soon when I quit I heard Ubisoft bought the game and so I wanted to come back to the game. I play for like a 4 months and it was great and all, into when I let someone auto and a mod came in. Allowing someone to auto is illegal and so I got banned. I know it was a bad idea but the thing is, I got banned for 730 days like that’s a Cruel ban for something minor. Everyday when I log in I see casinos and scam worlds that’s not yet to be banned but I get banned 730 days for allowing someone to auto? Please reduce my ban time due to my passion of the game. Thank you

Unplayable. For quite awhile now the game has absolutely unplayable. Servers will kick from the game when you are trying to move to different worlds for the reason of “too many players are logging on.” The ingame worlds lag is insane to the point where i don’t even want to play anymore. If they game is unable to fix this issue I can definitely see this as one of the downfalls of the game. So If you love laggy games and unplayable servers then growtopia is the game for you.

Poor support from supporter. There is no support from the supporter at all when your account have problem, considered you have spent hundreds of dollar with them. There are many hackers, spammers and moderators just use their power to abuse innocent players. I would not recomment to play it at all as it effects your mental health so bad after you spent alot of money on it and at the end you got nothing.

I miss the old Growtopia. I first started playing Growtopia in 2014 when there weren’t many people playing and everything was so fun. I had over 2500 hours into the game. Fast forward today, the economy is terrible because of the diamond lock duplication glitch. There are so many people selling diamond locks online for $2 which has just honestly ruined the game. My recommendation for Ubisoft would be to restart the game fully to revive back the Old Growtopia.

Game Is ADDICTING. The game is addicting and will make you not try hard at anything else except for it. The game will make your life worse and will be a very hard thing to quit. Although that it’s probably the best thing I have in my life A massive community that you find great friends in and moderators that are somewhat nice as they have to deal with thousands of our screams at them. I love the this game I have been playing it for years now the servers are literally rotting potatoes they are horrible since the game was sold to Ubisoft this is a huge disappointment. Previously other growtopians and I have considered quitting the game due to the severs constantly crashing and glitching it is absolutely ridiculous. Honestly I could go on for ages about this but it’s honestly ridiculous I’m sick of the severs

Hacked. I got got hacked 4 dls plus a lot of other things so about 7dls and now I have some stuff because my friend helped me but I really wish I still had my 4dls because I payed money for gems and bought dls and my money is just gone now.

Five stars for excellency on creativity. This game not only lets players link one to another on a massive online platform, but has many components attached to its interactivity where everyone can learn how to trade and have fun while learning a tiny bit of commerce. Surely, the community can be criticised; although, the majority of the players are really nice and keen on helping out new players! Why not check out this MMO sandbox game for yourself? Awesome game (make offline mode). The game is fantastic but it would be even better if you add offline mode where you pretty much have your own personal growtopia world that no one can enter except the owner of the world [OFFLINE MODE!!!!!!] great for when your not home n want to play growtopia!

Review. This game is absolutely amazing from the items and events to the community, however, the servers are a major let down! It’s a shame to see such a great game not being enjoyed to the fullest due to server issues and lag! Lots of hackers. I recently got hacked. I just lost 3 years of playing this game, but it just gone in a single night. I really enjoyed the game but I think you should increase the security system. Maybe for security reasons if someone tried to login from different location we’ll get notified by email asking if it was us. This way accounts are much safer from hackers and nobody gonna lose their progress like me.

Not getting my gems and suspended for no reason. So when I was suspended it was partially my fault because I saw a broadcast which is an in game thing saying get free dls on some website and it had Ubisoft logo there so I thought it was legit and I gave them my password and they took my items on my account. Then the next day my account was suspended! LIKE WHY? Also I had super supporter on that account so money wasted :( GrowID for that is GrowTiny745 And my gems was on my new GrowID: MageKrillz So I bought the 290k gem pack for 15 Australian dollars and my money was used but I didn’t receive my gems nor a megaphone. My dad tried messaging Ubisoft but they didn’t reply. Plz give me my gems back Ubisoft and unsuspend my old account

Hacked. My brother’s account was recently hacked and all of my world locks were taken on my account, Updation. All of my worlds have been reset so I cannot find the hacker, can you please restore my 50 world locks he previously had. Thank you. The game isn’t that bad, but maybe some better moderators that can ban a scammer straight away would be nice.

Harshest Game & Lack of response to community support. I can't really be bothered to write much here as this is pretty much the same attitude player support has. I got banned for selling diamond locks (which never sold). I did not know that this was not allowed and I was never prompted to accept any such terms and conditions on the creation and start of my account. After investing immense amounts of time and money over a span of 6+ years, I get permanently banned without warning. This to me is a bit extreme loosing everything I have worked for like my Ivi 3 ancess, zeus etc. overall servers are bad, everything is overpriced. Just a terrible game now. Quitting this game was hard but the best thing I ever did to my life. This is your sign to quit now! And Ubisoft, do not bother responding to this (as if you would anyway) as I will not be reaching out for a 7th time and getting nothing out of it.

Problem!!!. The problem is that when I press connect, it says that I can’t make and account because the IP address or something isn’t able to crease an account. It says it is because of some kind of VPN or proxy thing that I do not know of. If you could look into it, it would be great. Thanks

Good but dangerous. This game is honestly one of the best games the app store has to offer! Its enjoyable and you have endless fun playing it. But... the hackers! My little brother played this and his second account was hacked, including his email account wich meant whoever had hacked him has access to all of his social media etc. My brother never ever gave out his details or passwords! These hackers must be stopped!

Opinion about the game. I really enjoy the social part of Growtopia as you can meet people and socialise without the feeling of being out of place. However I wish I was a mod as I am online at time zones where many moderators are not when many casinos running. I just want Growtopia to stay as a fun social platform and help by monitoring it. I understand there are many people desiring to be a moderator but I’m just one of the few with this hope and dream in this game to become one. I don’t look towards the economy of this game anymore, rather hoping it will strive as a positive community.

Hackers. I really enjoyed playing this game as there were so many things to explore. However, when I first got hacked, I felt devastated but I knew I couldn’t just give up. There were so many things that I wanted to experience. So, I created a new account. This time, I was able to get a bit further. I felt thrilled I was able to experience Growtopia but with more excitement and adventure until I got hacked again. My point is that I would like to see an upgrade for Growtopia’s security. Like Roblox, think an email feature is essential. So that way, when there’s a hacker trying to log into my account, they’d have to know my email and the password to my email before they can get into my account. I honestly think this needed feature would help many Growtopians from suffering the way I did. Please don’t get me wrong, I still like Growtopia but before I can say that I actually enjoy it for what it has offer, I would like to see an upgraded security. Great game but a few things that need to be illegal. This is a great game I really like this game. Seth and hamumu and Ubidev are great mods so are all the others. But that’s not the point the whole point is now days people use broadcast or super broadcast for saying OMG COME HERE AND ONLINE DATE! Or MSG THIS GUY GAY!!! This needs to stop seriously people are mentioning stuff that shouldn’t be mentioned on a game for fun online dating and msging people gay should be illegal. Glitches/Bans. Their are innocent people getting fooled by glitches other people do and are getting banned for no reason. this definitely needs to be fixed because so many people have gotten banned from this. The only things people should get banned for are hacking, scamming, casinos and a few more no innocent growtopians should get banned. Us growtopians would also want a few more mods as their aren’t some on when lots of people are doing illegal stuff. For this mistake I think you should give everyone a gift in growtopia wether it’s and item wls or anything special.

Pro game. This game is very pro but the servers are down a lot and there are a lot of glitches within the game, the mods are not helpful a lot of the time and the game needs a lot more work to make it stable and to stop hackers / spammers from ruining the game

Uploads and fixes. The bad news is... Whenever i tried to log on it keeps on saying Already On: so i never gotten to play it until i could please fix it for all of growtopia. I also want Single Player mode which makes it offline and u can use the same account as the online one but with the offline no network needed. Really love the game good luck! P.S. Good game. I’ve been playing Growtopia since 2014 and I’ve seen the ups and downs of the game it’s a nice community with some problems here and there for example chat bots, Hackers, Scammers trying to ruin the economy, And people using dupe glitches that come up here and there plus the occasional rollbacks due to the duping and glitches from updates but overall it’s a great game that I love to be apart of.

Love this game, one problem.. This game is pretty cool, and fun! There is one problem, it’s kind of not fair. New players aren’t really understanding the game, but of course there are tutorials, but it is hard sometimes. Also, there are scammers who take advantage of these new players by stealing items from them, (and other stuff). I feel like the developers should add a free starter pack with clothes, items, seeds, and a huge lock (not a world lock, they could start with a HL and work they way up to a WL). They should also make an OFFICIAL world for new players and teach them. (There is a tutorial world) but a world that can let players help others (mostly new players). This game has grew a bunch last time I played. I hope this game becomes more popular, and I hope the developers have a good time making this game, and I hope you guys enjoy this game as well. 👍

Casino issue. As of right now I feel like growtopia is full of casino worlds and it’s not a good thing. Let me explain growtopia is a type of game where you socialise and find different types of worlds, but thanks to the casino worlds always being on your recommend worlds, you are being blocked from finding new experiences ,and different types player bases. Another reason why I feel like the casinos is a problem/ issue is because it can cause people to quit, due to them losing all their earnings on a small bet, sure they can win but that might lead to a gambling addiction, and eventually they will lose everything they worked for. ( sorry for the bad grammar usage )

Great game , 5 stars !. I’ve been playing this game for years now. I’ve always enjoyed playing it and having fun with my friends. In Growtopia you make loads of cool items, splice seeds to make higher value items and much more ! Come look at my world : BLAZE44 (and do /rate 5)

World locks. This is probably my favourite game for understanding the economy, and also great fun as a kid. The currency in Growtopia is world locks and everything has a price, it’s easy to understand the demand of items and your leverage when you can buy items with gems and sell for a profit in world locks. The main issue with this game is boring updates and the difficulty of actually getting your first world lock (tradable). I would recommend challenges for new players in which they grow expensive items and learn how to sell them. Or maybe laser grids

The game is okay.... I mean I think that you guys should really make the ‘/report’ button to work because it doesn’t do anything really... and what if we wanted to have more friends than just 200? We would have to remove one of our friends just to make a new one.

Need fixing. I dont know why they cant fix the servers, I can’t even enter my own world, too many spam bots aswell, nobody fixing anything

The game is a little buggy. I don’t think i can blame this in my device since it’s still new, a lot of storage space, and fast internet speed. The game is still slow on my phone which is IOS 16, the frame is low even if I play with no sounds and low graphic. It is hard to parkour and do jumps compare to IOS SE. The movements are slower than the second I press a button.

Fix this!!!. I love this game so much but sometimes it works with my wifi and sometimes it doesn’t. I know that it’s not my network because I have deleted and reinstalled Growtopia so many times and it didn’t take long at all. I can only play with data which I’m not always able to. good. I played this game for about 6 years. I was addicted. Theres nothing wrong with the game, but its the players you have to watch out for. The players are toxic, rude, and basically just stupid. So don’t trust anybody. Not even your friends.

Permanent ban for no reason. I have been playing for 8 years and while doing something that does not violate any rules, i got banned forever. I invested all these years in this game and was told to stop trying to appeal the ban on the support channel. There was also no proper investigation of the ban.

Annoying as hell now. Ubisoft went overboard with all this ghost crap, the worlds are flooded with really REALLY ANNOYING ghosts that disrupt and kill you constantly every few SECONDS 🤬 cant farm, cant redesign, can barely move through my own worlds without getting hit by multiple ghosts. Theres like a half dozen per world on average unless the world is BRAND NEW and less than a week old 😑 all the ghost crap to get rid of them btw, costs a bloody fortune! Poor Customer Service, Unfair Treatment!. I would like to start off with how poor customer service is in this game, instead of banning casinos, scammers, and etc. They instead ban those who said no auto, or bots in growtopia. This game has a big farming system yet if you do farm you can get punished for it for “auto breaking”. Oh and don’t even try to appeal for a ban, they will send a copy paste message towards your appeal, with no care at all, the rules they say in the page is false as you get 729 days ban/perm ban, for apparently “letting people auto in bfg”, although in the page it says: 1 warning, 2: 7 day ban, and etc. The Unfair treatment is crazy as it you were to report someone scamming they won’t receive and type of perm ban, OR they will rarely even get banned. growtopia IS and mainly full of scammers, and gambling addicts which you cannot tell me isn’t a lie, as you go into any world and see bots full of spamming, where mods don’t do anything about. Oh and don’t be fooled by the “66,780” people playing, Half of those are bots, and casino players. If you even wanna come back or even start I suggest to not, as the rich keeps getting richer and, the poor don’t get anything. And also if a mod does help you ban the scammer, 100% you don’t get the item back.

The servers are terrible. The game has gotten better over the years but the servers havnt. Their down multiple times a day and they cannot handle more than 75k players at once. The game is almost always at around the 60-75k range of players online at any time so it’s jjst annoying.

If you first start this game, without a mentor, you would be very confused. Good thing the mods have made a certain kind of work for people who are dedicated to help new people called mentoring (people who have been playing for quite some time [mentors] and the people who are new [apprentices] mentors can get prizes by helping. Hey Hey! Growtopia Veteran here.. As a veteran, growtopia was really fun in the first couple of years. It was fun that people were trading and creating these amazing worlds! Making shops and just overall being amazing! But growtopia also taught me a lesson at a young age that was somewhat dark and frustrating. The works of capitalism. As a growtopian, you capitalize on what you have. At first you beg and climb up and obtain gems. You tell yourself hardwork will pay off but we just end up wanting more! The next best thing… we need to have it. It’s a continuous cycle until you burn out and become frustrated about what you don’t have and take it out on the people you love. I believe the trading system should be taken off but then again the trading is what makes growtopia… growtopia! We grow and trade and sell and grow our lands… it’s truly sneaky. You’ll find amazing people in growtopia. But you will also find… other people. Who simply will ruin your trust any moment they can. Growtopia made me lose hope for humanity in the age of 13. And for other kids… I hope they never find this game. The game just promote you to flaunt whatever goodies you have. So you can show off how amazing and more hardworking you are. But in reality, they either farmed their hardest, scammed multiple people, got lucky, or spent hundreds of dollars for those gem packs. Capitalism my dear friends. Now you must be saying, “Oh but capitalism isn’t bad? We thrive in a capitalistic society.” But the thing is, growtopia promotes capitalism into young children. Young children could easily have everything taken from them from either being scammed, or being hacked. And growtopia doesn’t do anything about. They let it be. And for many kids who don’t understand the implication of this game on them continue to play. Out of sheer addiction. An obsession over an ambitious dream of having everything. Validation. At a young age we strive validation. Growtopia deceives us with the notion of validation but once you lose everything, you’re deemed worthless. Just like in our world of capitalism. I wish they would fix the scamming or try to be more part of it. Maybe reduce the amount of recommended worlds that tell me to “BET EVERYTHING TO WIN!”. Like some goddamn casino. I am ashamed. This was not the game the original devs wanted… I… just want everyone to enjoy growtopia again. I also want to enjoy growtopia again.

Why?. I also got banned for no reason. You need to fix this. I got banned for 60 days.. I’m one out of the few people that don’t scam in this game but for some reason I got banned. I love this game tho

Eh. I have been playing for a while. It’s a pretty fun and addictive game, but there are spam bots, scammers and toxic people everywhere. You can’t trust anyone. Not even your friends. Ubisoft has been hosting all of these charity things where you pay and it gets sent to for example, the Smile operation. Ubisoft took most of the profits for himself. Overall, it’s an ok game but don’t trust anyone. And I don’t suggest you spend any money on it unless you want to. You can if you want, that’s just my opinion.

Optimization for iPhone X and up.. There is a problem playing this game on the iPhone 11. The notch seems to obstruct a part of the left display making it hard to see the first letters of what is going to be written. Additionally, in the matter of the chat boxes, it seems that writings don’t appear on the top chat box and only appears on the white text box at the top of the keyboard. I suggest that the developer team fixes these flaws by adding borders enough to crap out the notch that’s blocking a part of the left display in the first place. The chat box maybe another flaw, but the latter is a bigger deal hard to ignore, however it does help if the developer team also fixes the top chat box by showing what is being written on it, not just the white text box. I hope you read this review and take it into consideration. Thank you.

Great but time wasteful. As long as I know, I have been playing this game for 5 years, the community is great and yet not so great, unless you’re rich or not, you will get more friends or less friends, it depends. I have been socializing a lot and strategizing in this game untillll, the hacking, scamming, sinister acts happen in this game, I have lost most of my riches in this game and I find no fun in it, no one wants anyone if they aren’t rich, I won’t prove you wrong but it’s real, I know you could still socialize, but most people won’t find interest in you, so many scams, so many ways of people, I traded a world, until i realized the person teleported me to another world but it did not have the farmables, I lost all my riches (20 diamond locks) to be precise. I will come back to this game, I want to expect a great community, though I will start as.. uhhh... a no one. I hope the actions and acts in this game by others aren’t highly reprehensible.

Good game. other than the moderators. GrowID: FirstAidKitt A former OG player here, over the first few years of the game, i’ve met so much friends here. Honestly would thank the og mods cause not only did they do their jobs, they were very supportive, to say the least. not trying to offend any staff members, but i’ve recently seen mods only pay attention to famous people. if you got scammed, they would ignore. none of the less, I love this game! i still remember my first friend lucy, good times. this game is really fun if you make friends and spread positivity. i never scammed, and i never will. i respect everyone’s opinions about the game. the servers have been very unstable lately, it’d be better if the moderators try to find bugs. thank you for giving me 7 years of happiness. Really Great. In my personal opinion, I really love this game. To be honest, when I first started I did not like it that much because I was super confused on how to play it, once I got used to it it got fun. That’s the thing with everyone I think, just take your time to understand the game, and it becomes very fun. . You may not want to play because you read from the other reviews that there is a lot of scamming in the game. It is not the company of the game’s fault there is scamming, and in order to get scammed you have to participate in things like drop games. You can not get scammed by just being careful while playing and not playing in drop games.

Game is too toxic. The first years of Growtopia owned by RTsoft were the server/game performance’s peak of this game, and the COMMUNICATION between players and devs were outstanding. But. After the transfer of this game to Ubisoft, the community has gone super toxic, and the COMMUNICATION between the players and the Devs have been poorly unprofessional. It’s like they are too lazy or dislike the community so much that responses are unclear and not helpful at all. Ive played this game for nearly 6 years and i hate to see this game go this way. They just need to hire people to communicate their problems and goals on making the game better because a lot of people are just losing faith in the game. Their dedication to the game seems lackluster. Don’t play this game if you want it to be your main game because you will be disappointed in how the game will function by the poor servers and forum communication.

Good game!. I’ve played this game about 4 years ago and it brings nostalgic memories as I come back today and lots have changed while I had gone, like item of the month and new events which I think is pretty cool. I spent decent money on this game definitely worth because I did have a lot of fun. The only thing I would change is having less updates so people can play longer like maybe an update a week? Instead of one almost everyday. Servers should be able to be played without people disconnecting, but very good and interesting game, I love farming and being able to get new items, it’s really exciting. Keep up the good work ubisoft!

Not working ban system. I just want to ask why the reporting system is not effective, my friend who turned out to be a fake friend he stole my magplant with the excuse of only borrowing it for a few hours so I gave the magplant to my friend who turned out to be a fake friend, and he immediately said 'haha you're being scammed thanks for the free magplant' and I'm very sad because he is a very good friend and it turns out he is a fake friend then I reported the incident that is reporting a friend who scammed me but he never unfriended me so I can see if he is offline or not and I see he's always online 2 hours ago 1 hour ago already 30 minutes ago, why is my friend not banned at all??

Ive been playing for 7 years!. This game has brought me together with so many of my friends, it’s super easy to meet new people on this game. Ive been playing for 7 years now, its changed a lot over the years but it’s got so much to offer, mini games, cool items, instruments(THAT YOU CAN PLAY!), cool people, social worlds, the ability to build whatever you want, a carnival, holiday festivals, winter fest, summer fest,etc. This is the first review i’ve ever written, and im just telling you that you won’t regret downloading this game, it is a bit slow in the beginning, but once you start meeting people, it gets so much better from there! :) i personally spend a lot of time in the world “CREEPYPASTA”, because of all the horror stories in there. i love this game so much!! Here are some really cool social worlds that a lot of people meet others at: -LOVE -LOVES -DATE (^majority of those people just go there for a chat haha) -TRADE -NOOB -SEEDS You can also just join random worlds :) but also you can type “/go” whenever someone broadcasts a world that you want to go to!! this is just some ways i’ve had fun on Growtopia! Thank you!!!

My review. All the parents that are reading this well there’s a reason for that. Your child probably showed you this games and you don’t know if this is a fun game. Let me tell you personally I played since I was 7 and this game has showed me a lot of the real world with market prices, Scaming, Hacking, and much more that makes this game fun and not fun like real life we’re there are millions of people trying to get rich but can’t because they don’t know who to trust. I say this game is good for kids if you want them to be more of understanding of the world. I’m not saying this game is fully clean and won’t show to much but I dose teach your kids what the true meaning of life sometimes means.

Bad customer support. I was playing growtopia, and I was messaged by someone who claimed that I was scamming on the world FREEWLS8008 or something like that. Obviously, to defend myself, I went there and argued with the guy who was on the world. He pulled me to a spot with ice on the ground and waterfalls above it, and kept killing me and making me respawn with a checkpoint above a jellyfish that was blocked by dark cave background. I was talking to the guy, and I play on mobile, so I can’t talk while moving, and while I was trying to say something very long, I was banned for 60 days. I wish there was a way to undo this faulty ban, because I have been playing the game for 600 days and get on every day and I did nothing wrong! The growtopia twitter page won’t reply to me and I don’t know what to do, so I would like to warn people. If you see a setup like I was on, DONT DO IT!!!! YOU WILL GET BANNED! The mods don’t address issues.. The game when it was first released was SO much fun! You didn’t have to worry about many of the problems that took over the game before Ubisoft purchased it. For instance, the biggest issue I’ve taken note of is the issue with spammers. The moderators ignore them entirely & don’t implement anything to stop them. The only thing they did that remotely addressed it, was making the cost to broadcast super expensive. Now new players, who want to communicate can’t afford to broadcast their message. Not only that, but since they’ve purchased the game I’ve noticed the amount of pay-to-play items has been increasing at an astonishing pace. And now there’s advertising in the background. As a 9 year player, I’m quitting the game because they keep adding things to spend money on in game instead of fixing issues with the game. Events and paid items won’t make us forget how bad the game is now.

Ubisoft NEEDS TO FIX THIS GAME!. Kid you not this is my first review on any game across all platforms. I’ve been playing growtopia for many years and it hasn’t been a problem until ubisoft has taken over. Countless hackers and spam bots promoting illegal gambling, don’t even get me started with the connection issue. I have top tier internet but Ubisoft servers for this game is literally garbage. Staff are there but never do anything. Feels like this game has really declined since it was sold to ubisoft. We all get that growtopia isn’t on the top list of games to pay attention to but at least fix the minimal problems that are affecting this game and your players. I remember when this game was fun and enjoyable. Now it takes me forever to join a server. You need to DO BETTER UBISOFT! FIX: CONNECTION ISSUES HACKERS / SPAM BOTS

The game. This is coming from a legendary player who has been playing since the release. This game is the best game ive ever played, but is definetly not an easy one. Some people will do anything possible to scam you, or get into your account. Growtopia has made its own economy based off world locks. Some precautions I take to keep myself safe in this game, is always have 2step verification on, and change your password and email frequently. The economy growtopia has made on its own bases off new items and how their effect works, leaving you with many oppertunities to gain big time.

It’s not that bad. It does get fun and addicting once you get started. Although, it seems like people care more about getting rich and they become aggressive towards other. It’s not a big of a problem now, but I still see those people out there. They are so many nice people in this game. They all want to be your friend which is amazing! They are scams still and it seems like people are making more and more of them. And the server is in the middle. Sometimes the server will completely shut down and it will take Ubisoft a day to repair. They did improve which is great and I appreciate that. Although this game isn’t that bad and you should try it for yourself!

Dont bother starting if you haven’t, they will ban your accounts. I started this game recently because a friend invited me, he has warned me that this game has a lot of server issues and I thought how bad could it be? It’s terrible! He also warned me about scammers and account bans. My account got !permanently banned! for “using third party apps” despite many attempts to clarify, I didnt. All my friend did was help and teach me about how farming works! And they were all real! It was blamed that I used bots but again, I did not! I understand that there are rules to abide by in all games, but honestly I think the investigation and service isn’t conducted well. Even though I didnt break any rules, if the system does detect suspicious activity, couldve given a warning or performed a better investigation. They dont take prevention against scammers but permanently ban new player accounts! On top of that my friend purchased a pack and it hasn’t arrived for a month now! Reaching out for customer service is a joke. Dont bother starting this game if your haven’t. Once you get used to it and attached with the effort you put into it, they will take it away.

Horrible.. I’ve played this game since I was 13! And now I’m 16. I can’t lie, I was in love with the game, like an addiction. I spent nights and nights on this game. Until one day, I got banned for no absolute reason. It was 2 years I got banned January 24, 2016. It’s July 2, 2018 and I checked and my account doesn’t work. I’ve emailed the support but it’s like a bot or something that replied. My mom emailed them, and here’s what they said... they said my account was banned for sexually harassing a moderator ??? I don’t recall a thing. I was 12-13, my mind was never like that at all. I tried playing again since they couldn’t unsuspend my account. The time my mom emailed them about my old account, my new account was banned. FOR NO REASON. I’m so upset with the game, for something I used to love so much, so spended hundreds of dollars on, made cool friends (some who I’ve actually met in person), now has turned into a game that I HATE. Deleted. All I wanted was my account back.

It’s amazing but there is one complaint. I’ve played gt for 5 years it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I spent all my birthday money on this game and when I was scammed the mods would help. I would farm profit and have over 90 dls. This was when it happened. I made a joke saying I make money irl selling dls which I don’t and I was perm banned? There is no significant evidence of this and there was no investigation. I emailed Ubisoft and guess what, they ignored my appeal. They where jumping to conclusions and not putting a investigation. Hundreds of dollars spent and it’s all gone. Yes the joke was wrong but a perm ban with no investigation. Really. If you are reading this my account is tremb and contact my email if you want to fix this. Cause this is happening to multiple players some with a big fan base aswell. This is mad what is happening.

Big waist of time. This game takes long hours, days, and weeks if you want to get good. You end up spending 3 hours of your time breaking and replanting trees just to get little reward. People who play this game have played for ages, and are all most likely much better than you, and more familiar. They like to scam you for your items and everything you’ve worked for, in ways you wouldn’t have even known are possible. Overall I’ve never seen so much corruption and scamming in any game I’ve ever played. Just sit back and reflect for a second, do you really wanna spend HOURS of your time working to get pieces of clothing on a little character, and buying locks. This game just takes A LOT of time to get good, and it’s just not worth it. I don’t encourage it

Really amazing game. Growtopia is one of the best games I’ve ever played. Fun interaction, getting rich, and meeting lots of friends! But the main thing is scamming which everyone should look out for. I’ve quit several times but came back, due to being bored and having nothing to do. Just beware of the scams and have fun!! It really is an amazing game for kids of pretty much all ages. I just want to point out that, could you add more hairs? And if so, update the un-trade able items to tradable, like for example those eyes. Sorry I forgot what they’re called. Either way, Growtopia is a fun and addicting game, once you get used to it.

Fun but the amount of scammers.. It is a great and fun game but the amount of scammers there are. A group of people tried scamming my Black Crystal Dragon but I did not drop it. They tried scamming me so hard that they named a scam world after me, TwinFarmer1, ( TwinFarmer is my GrowID name) and when the first person failed to scam me, he gave up and then guess what, ANOTHER PLAYER CAME IN AND TOLD ME TO GO IN THE SAME WORLD THE OTHER PERSON TRIED TO SCAM ME IN! So I went in the world then he asked me to leave for 10 seconds. I wasn’t too dumb to drop the Black Crystal Dragon. So, it’s all real so please be careful guys and don’t drop your rare items. Something out of your thinking zone might be around the corner...

Amazing!. This game was the best game I ever downloaded. I know that it took a very long time to make this,but people are always scamming/hacking everybody. (Plz make it so that u cant drop items!) Anyway, the reason why worlds with innapropriate names, I completely understand. But the world HELL? Why was it ever removed? The word "hell" can be used at anytime as long as you do not use it in an inappropriate connotation, so I do not understand why the world hell was removed it was very strange when I tried to go onto the world HELL and I finally found out that they change the world to "HEAVEN". Scammers. Way to much people scam. I got scammed in total of 400$ and of course, you guys do nothing and it’s very sad how you guys don’t. I don’t even get help when I spent 400$ (Don’t believe me then go on my account and look at it CosmicOcean.) on this app and the mods won’t even help me. I highly recommend to not get this game. When you guys read peoples reviews you just say some stupid things like someone said about him getting scammed and you all be like, “We can’t fix scams.” We didn’t ask you to fix it, we simply ask for you guys to take your time and look at the video or any proof of scams. The one who reply to reviews is extremely foolish like the mods of this game. Someone left a one star for being scammed they just said “Were glad you like the game!”. 3.9 stars, you guys deserve less how disappointing. Get this game if you would like to get scammed by a “friend” and then get backstabbed.

Its whatever. Im gonna guess and say that half of the 1 star reviews are from kids who got scammed, when you play this game, there are no goals for you to complete, just get rich and richer. You can choose to make friends along the way but theres a good chance that youre gonna get backstabbed by them. The servers sometime go under maintenance a lot but if youre at least 16 years old, you shouldnt be bothered by it. I’ve been playing this game for maybe 5 to 7 years and the game is pretty solid. Only reason why it isn”t 5 stars is because the community, the community goes apeshit at every opportunity they get and anyone in the game with over 5 dls has a huge ego, if you so much as call someone a noob, they’ll just start spamming “lol” like its 2017 and make fun of your divorced parents. The game is overall pretty good.

This game is one of the coolest platforms in my opinion but in a way this game seems dead their is a major issue about this game tho Every few hours the game has technically issues and it’s annoying bc it happens so constantly and nobody would be able to play another thing is how in the world do u get banned for 750 days and for no reason look at roblox they ban ppl for 7 days and if they get banned again they are removed from roblox Growtopia rlly can fix themselfs and improve Also this game will do so much good if they fix these issues and plsss fix your banning system it would make the community even better bc you are loosing players if you ban them they just won’t play anymore pls help growtopia

Friends. In this game i really liked it because i met my first friend and he was my best friend because all the other people in my class dont wanna be my friend so i just decided to become his friend he helped me with many things . But there was this one sad day my i pad had a virus so i had to repair and it took time and my friend was wondering why i wasnt online so he was sad and quitted the game and then when my ipad got repaired i was hoping that he still plays the game because it was a long time so at that day i cried in the bed and never met him again also his name is : Johnyyammine or Johnyyamine i hope that if a developer saw that comment can you pls send him an email or something if you can i hope i can meet him again :(

My favorite all time game.. I’ve played this game since February of 2013. You have no idea the memories and nostalgia this game brings. Just listening to the music can bring me to tears. It is just so amazing, and it is a big part of my life that I won’t ever forget. Every single moment of this game has a different feeling. It takes me back to the days where I didn’t have to worry about anything. If I had to choose to only be able to play one game for the rest of my life, there is no doubt this game would be the one I choose, by far. Love this game and everything about it. If I knew how amazing this game was before getting it, I would buy it for 100 dollars. With absolutely no regrets. This game completes me.

I lost everything. Ok I loved playing growtopia and I had a decent bit of value. I made many good friends too but I lost all my expensive stuff in game to someone doing a trade quick swap, I have one idea to prevent this from happening! That idea is to add a timer on when a trade is able to be accepted. Also there needs to be a re funding system if you played the game legitimately and lost your stuff -_- I only played Growtopia because I got it when it was on Nintendo and honestly that was fun even when I had little value. But in the mobile servers the game is full of heartless scammers who get away with taking from a player and those items aren’t given back. This is quite a big issue if someone spent literal hours trading legitimately and selling items to afford stuff that got scammed away. Seriously please add a better player support and way to get back items stolen by maybe reversing a trade. You devs care more about updates then helping players that loved this game -_- I spent 70 Hours playing this piece of trash game What happens?? I lost everything I worked for!! All in a single minute. The scammer got away with it. And you crappy devs send me a message saying there’s nothing you can do??? After I quit this game I had the best time of my life!! Why? I’m sorry.. I started to play Growtopia at my friend’s house in Virginia. She taught me so many things about the game and I started to get used to it. That’s why I wanna give a quick shout out to her because she was the first friend I ever had in my entire life! Anyway, I’m downloading it on my iPad now, I bet I will find my friend out there! Edit: At first I thought this was gonna be a great game, but then when I press connect (since I don’t have a GrowID), it say that iPad users can’t make NEW accounts because a VPN/Proxy is open, or I mean can be open, I was so excited for this game, but after this, I hope the creator of this game reads this because I was so excited for the game, until that happened, it even said that I should try again on another e-mail, so first, I say we should put the “Bruh” effect, and please read this because this is not fair, okay? Massive part of my childhood. My account is 5 years and 180 days old and i just wanted to thank ubisoft for creating a game that was such a big part of my childhood. Even though ubisoft is really greedy (siege), they did a great job when taking over development of the game. I remember getting scammed more times than i want to admit, but in the end i learned a life lesson: never trust someone you meet online, no matter how authentic they seem. I revisit the game once every few months just to see the state of the game, and even with all the casino bots, the community is still thriving, even though the game isnt as popular as before. Overall, thanks ubisoft for the great game, and thanks to the scammers for teaching me a life lesson.

The game is fun but.... I started playing and the tutorial didn’t explain crap! I didn’t even know you could add seeds together! I wanted to have fun but this app is more of an pay to win kinda thing like going into the store everything’s expensive, I understand that but it’s so hard to earn gems I say 50 gems per mission is to cheap most items are around 500 or higher I can’t say buying gems it expensive but I don’t want to spend hard earned money for this game so developers please make the missions more gems or more easy ways to earn gems, oof I sound like a Karen. game name - ryanluvsu

Banned for an account that’s not mine.. I used to play this game a lot with my friends but after a while I deleted the game. Now I decided to download the game again to play with some of my friends and when I try to log in with my old account it says that I’m banned for 400+ days caused by someone named “Vice00”. It says that if that’s not my name that I should try to play on another device so that’s what I did. I logged into my old account on my pc and it worked normally, I don’t understand why it says that I’m banned because of this”Vice00”. I haven’t played this game for almost a year and now that I’m trying to play again it says that I’m banned for something that I didn’t do?? I’m really confused and would appreciate your help.

Great game but lots of bad memories (community). Hello! I am CookieTree and I’ve been playing since when I was a child. This game is great but when I tried to go back to playing again as a teenager, I am flooded with the bad memories. I remember that the emotions in the game are either boredom or spite. I don’t fault the team for having a bad community which is why I didn’t put 1 star, and the gameplay isn’t extraordinary enough to put more. The biggest thing is World Locks and I think there should be lock decay on world locks of worlds with mostly un-dug wilderness and lack of rare blocks. Someone I know literally went out of their way, coming back every month to check my lock to claim the entire world for good. And they said they had the world for 6 years, and the entire world is still dirt and haunted.

It’s trash. Listen. I been playing since 2012, now going on 2019 and ever since unisoft bought this game it’s gone down to the land of pure 💩. The servers always update when your in the middle of farming even when your trying to beat a parkour. The game Randomly resets and says....Growtopia is under maintenance BE BACK ON SHORTLY... Right lies took me 1 day to log in. I wish Seth would buy Growtopia back because the new buyer of this game is...crap updates mean nothing just wasting your time waiting, just play pixel worlds and get off this game as soon as you can or. Your gonna get scammed and lose all your stuff by indo’s/ Indogs or you can just lose your whole life by playing this. I don’t even think no one will read this. But to be honest Admins are no help anymore the game is. Now like toxic full of kids cussing and stuff so. Don’t let the pictures fool you. Thanks for reading bye.

Love It.. I have played this game for 4 years since 4th grade. Yes, it can be cumbersome at times when you are trying to do something and constantly having an obstacle to get past, but in the end you have the best time playing this game. Another thing I really LOVE is that there is no end goal to the game, so your free to do whatever you want. And then another thing is that there are constantly new items or events coming to the game, so you're never bored. I would recommend to give this game 10 minutes. I'm sure you all won't be able to stop playing past 3 hours. :)

My favorite childhood memory. I’ve played this game for over 10 years now and I have to say I’ve never and will never be tired of what it has to offer. Yeah with a new team of developers come changes, along with a less creator involved gameplay from a company as big as Ubisoft. But I have to say so far this game has been well maintained and still manages to be pretty fun. The hours still seem to fly by as I play just as fast as they did when I was 10 years younger. Amazing game with amazing creators who put their hearts into their craft. This game thought me about life and how harsh it can be sometimes, but also how be a good sales man. A very simple game has thought me so much and continue to amaze me to this day.

Great game although.... Growtopia is a good game. I have been playing this wonderful game since 2013 when the game was good. I have been reading the reviews and I have to agree with half the people that are writing a review. These mods don’t do anything to help or protect the growtopia community. They don’t prevent casinos, spammers, hackers or nothing! It’s absurd. Ubisoft has made the game plummet into a hole that’s probably unreachable. I hope that Ubisoft can stop going on 8 hour “maintenance” checks or whatever but I really enjoy this game even to this day there are a few good people left in this game and I hope it goes back to the old ways. I love this game. I have played this game for at least 3 years now and before I deleted the game because when Ubisoft bought the game he did really nothing.... but now I understand that all u have to do is avoid the scammers in this game and their dumb drop games, because they are too obvious to fall for I quit the game cause of those like u drop razor wings for example they don’t kick u on time then they say lag I lagged and that is so stupid from the part o go these idiots they obviously did not lag but a game I actually have played and won 5 wls is casino spin I won and got the prize of 5 wls and now I started farming in this game and I have to admit it is fun so those who have just started playing keep playing AND DONT FALL FOR DROP GAMES!!!!!!!!!

Feels like there’s no effort. I found this game on the Nintendo switch saw it was free and said why not. The graphics are horribly designed and make me uncomfortable. the world aspect is horrible because you have to just type something random and hope nobody’s taken it, you should be able to create your own world that nobody can join(or unless invited) you shouldn’t have to grind for gems just to get the ability to be able to be not disturbed, an example: I was on the Nintendo switch version and somebody kept joining my worlds, locking them and taking the stuff I planted then kicked me. The controls also feel way to loose. The game is also basically just grinding plants for stuff, a nice addition would be a creative mode where none of the stuff in your inventory gets save through out the worlds but you can build maps with this, that would add something other then grinding.

Growtopia. I have played this for 5 years! I pretty much know what to do in this game, at first I was a bit confused about what to do, but thanks to some friends, they helped me through a lot. I got scammed once, but I quited a year, that didn’t stop me. I played again cause there is still some fun in this game, and I know mods r very busy, but I want to thank odric personally. I msged him when this scammer was selling dirt for 1 wl. It means that if u buy it, you’ll be rewarded by its owner. So I msged him cause his name is the shortest to type(hehe I’m lazy) but he actually came. He came and showed himself, but later I got banned from the world, the owner got banned forever I guess, but I wanted to thank him for making gt better. YOU MODS ROCK💯

Low ratings are wrong. With just about 3000 hours on this game, I can tell you it is one wild ride. I just wanted to say that everyone complaining about scammers are totally wrong. You will likely be scammed at one point, unfortunately but do as I’ve did, learn from it and not make the same mistake again. If you repeat mistakes, this game is not for you. There are players from almost every country in the world, 7k players minimum are online at any time, very active developers, and a very economy centered game. So many friends are just waiting to be met in this game. Stay safe out there! :)

It’s hard to defend this game’s current state.. I’ll keep it short and simple. The current state of the game is unbearable. Very anti-beginner friendly, incredibly greedy and demanding, you have to be rich in order to have any fun in any sort of event. This has been true for a long time but I’ve never seen it get this bad. Every random world on the world selection screen is just teleport worlds to (illegal) casinos, not to mention bots everywhere. You can no longer just visit random worlds and hang out anymore. Socializing in this game is incredibly difficult now due to the heavy focus on trade worlds (which isnt a bad thing in itself, but the random casino worlds just prove my point). IMO the game is in a irrepairable state. I have been a long time player since mid 2013, right around the first summerfest event. It’s been icredibly upsetting to see what the game has become. I wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone the state it’s in now. It’s just too toxic and anti fun for beginners. The magic of Growtopia is gone now, and most of the people I know, whether it be old forumers, irl friends and family, have quit. I don’t even play seriously anymore, but I would just like to share my thoughts as a long time player.

Unfair to a certain extent. Honestly Growtopia is a cool game to keep you occupied and fun to play if you’re dedicated on doing certain things (Ex. Getting wls) but at times it tends to get boring and especially since there is lots of scammers and hackers it becomes difficult. The reason as to why I gave this a 3/5 was because I’ve been really frustrated on how I put a small lock in a world I first built and left my wls in for the future. Of course I didn’t write it down and I don’t remember the name. Developers if you do read this maybe that’s a function you can change in the game? Instead of “Your Worlds” then only show the world locked ones it should also show the others locks. I feel the other locks aren’t given as much attention and it’s very frustrating.

Yes, best game.. This is a very good game, but the thing is, we are getting lost in it and our greed grows, because we want to get cool items like Zephyr Helm, and other items, so we result in scamming. People don’t think about what others would feel when they get scammed. Some people do, but most people don’t. If you are going to play this game, or already play this game, don’t lie or scam because it builds a trait, like a “bad person” trait but if you succeed to stay away from scamming, you can be granted mod powers and also build up a trait so that you are wise with money that will help you later on in life. Recommend this game for 10+, and people that don’t have serious anger issues.

Going on my sixth year now. I’ve been playing this freakin game for almost six years, I started when I was eleven, and made several accounts,because, well... This game is very rage-quit worthy, because of scammers, and popular scams like:The Drop Game! or Break blocks and get a prize!, this game has taught me not to trust random people I meet on the internet, and this game has brought better relationships with friends I knew in real life, including one of my best friends, who now has a huge world, bigger than mine, because he plays almost every day, this game is just amazing and I guess it made me the person I am today? But it really got me to make better relationships with my friends.

Growtopia is definitely a game you will enjoy. So Growtopia you can make friends be rich make worlds be famous! But there will be very much hackers in the game avoid hackers. I have gotten scammed by a hacker and lost my growboard but it’s fine now since I’m getting my world locks back. Always avoid drop games and report the drop game world. Do not play trust games you can get scammed by the person that’s playing with you. If you want a donate that’s ok if you go to the world DONATE but if it’s not DONATE just don’t bug other people in other worlds. My name is batman199 if you ever see me talk to me. Great, but also not great.. I’ve been a player since September 2016, but stopped playing in June 2020. So I’ll leave a review. Growtopia has a very friendly art style and environment which is very pleasant. What ruins it all are the toxic players which are just a general nuisance to deal with. Also lots and lots of scammers. Though there are some people who are actually nice people. What made me start playing was the building and trading system in the game, but what made me stop playing was the boredom. Once you reach a certain level of the game where you only farm to make money, it gets VERY boring. I believe Growtopia has lots of things to improve on and I hope it does improve for the better.

Ubisoft? What happened?. Since 3rd grade I have been enjoying GT and it has been a great pass time until Ubisoft bought it, now it has had fresh new people who just spend a crapload of money just to say “Show was noob.” I still have been enjoying it but prices have been a little dicey for me as well as demand so it is a lot harder to play the game. Still the game is fun but it just could be better like banning casinos and roulettes and crap like that. Another thing is is that there should be way more mods, because I see so many drop games that could easily be banned if mods payed more attention to this game. 4 stars and that was generous. This game might be good.. Growtopia might be a good game for various reasons and a few down hill portions that the user will go through. Scamming and dropping is an illegal crime within the Growtopia universe and the user can maybe record whats happening and can upload it to the internet. I got scammed multiple times since mid 2017, so i raged quit every time and uninstalled but i kept installing it lol. The community is a bit toxic maybe possibly the same amount as a chef from an Italian cafe would put salt into your food (that's the toxic members' opinions), but in other words it's a great game when you don't want to spend your money and/or buy a computer for other games.

Can’t play this once good game anymore…. A game that was once one of the greatest games ever has gone downhill. For those that don’t know the backstory, there were two developers involved in this game, that’s when the game was actually playable. But now, thanks to Ubisoft and their garbage servers/moderation team, the game has basically disappeared from existence. All you see now are casinos and other ILLEGAL activities that go AGAINST their rules. But why don’t we ban a player for auto-farming when all he did was play on his dang computer? I’ve been playing this game for 9 years, now I’m banned for 2 years for absolutely nothing?! Do better, Ubisoft. And for those that have never played this game, you’re better off with Pixel Worlds instead, which is actually a better game now than it is for Growtopia. Trust me, if Growtopia stayed the way it was, with two developers and actual working servers, I would always play. Sorry Growtopia, but it’s wraps for me.

Great game but... Yes, i absolutely love this game but.. There’s to many hackers and scammers. I played this game for 3-4 years. Made hundreds of friends, Some of them are nice and kind, some of them just ignored me, some of them scammed people and also me. I was having fun with my friends but after that i got hacked. My 5dls gone (Ik I'm a noob) gave all my worlds to my friend.. It was a run. In my first days of playing, my brother gave me a rainbow dragon that cost like 15-20 wls before i was happy and then got scammed by a scammer in a drop game and then my i scammed a noob scammer by trolling him and getting 200 dirts LOL. My friend made a WOTD it was successful. Ah.. the good old days.. Welp thats it i guess.. Goodbye Growtopia.
