Fast and easy. I order for our church food pantry and food for less gives me the best value for my money and makes it easy to get large quantities

Log in issues. I’ve tried to use this app several times and always have log in issues. Most recent was particularly annoying because I WAS signed in and then the app froze and when I reopened it my list was gone and I was signed out and couldn’t sign back in again.

False advertising. I get emails from them saying that there is something I can buy with a coupon but I need to login. So I login and then I tried to clip the coupon for the item that I saw on my email and it is no longer available even though it says it is going to expire tomorrow. This happens all the time and it is very frustrating because I make a trip to the store and I can’t even use the coupon because it doesn’t exist in the app but they sent it to me in an Email

The update makes this app look like a fake knockoff. Seriously, is this Food 4 Less or Food 3 Less? The color scheme and the fonts are awful to look at. In addition, the UI is terrible- why are clipped coupons now under the “filter” button? Why would a coupon not change from saying “clip” to “clipped” in the first place? This is literally the first time in my life I’ve ever felt compelled to review an app- it’s THAT messy.

Please bring the old app back. They over complicated this new update to look better but it’s not user friendly. All the coupons are lumped together and you can’t narrow what your looking for like before. For example if I only wanted to see what the digital deals are, I could do that, or the 5x times event coupons, I could do that. This version you can't narrow things to specifics. I shop here heavily on top of Ralphs and thankfully Ralphs hasn’t changed their app.

New update is really disappointing!. I am really disappointed with the new update to the Food4Less app. I have been using this app for a few years now and rarely had an issue with it. Now, my coupons won’t come off at the register even though they are clipped in the app, you can not click on the weekly ad to add items to your list, not to mention I couldn’t even find the weekly ad you have to go into another section to see it. The home page is just a mess in general. The coupons are also harder to find or not all are available unless you scan it at the store. And I really dislike the black and yellow, but if the app worked I could over look it.

Not good at all. How purchases not going to be available in app? Like why do people have to jump through hoops. I got messages I cannot see in app. I dont know why the shopper just didnt ask to replace items I wont be shopping using this site or app anymore very disappointed. Like some of the items was the reason I was shopping in app.

Useless. Ever since the new update I cannot log in. Can’t clip coupons, have tried multiple times to log in on the app and always gives the same message that it’s unable to log in at the moment. I never had any issues before the new update ugh

Forced coupons. My elderly parents are being forced to use a glitchy app in order to receive the promotions advertised in store. The worst part is the employees also don’t know how to use it. They keep you waiting only to hand an ad. I have experience with this so I thought it would be simple but nope. My old account is useless now. I cant log in and access anything anymore. I have to consent sharing my information with a company named Inmar but it still doesn’t work. Since this app needs to be fixed, the least they can do is honor promotions until the kinks are worked out. Poorly done.

Food4Less card. It would be so much easier if you issued cards like other stores.

Don't like the new app. And where's Kroger Pay?. I dislike this new app rollout. I had no problem with the previous version. Now I can't seem to find the Kroger Pay function for checking out. Any links I try on the app about it takes me to a page that says it could not be found. And customer service is a joke. Bring back the old app, and bring back Kroger Pay!

App still has problems loading. Before the update it wouldn’t load anything and after the update it still doesn’t load anything

Disappointed!. This app was great before the upgrade, but now it’s not working. Every time I select the digital coupons on the app and then enter my phone number at the register it does not discount any of the digital coupons. It’s been a real disappointment with this app and it seems that there is no fix anytime soon.

Confusing. New version is a bit tedious and confusing, noticed couple glitches And I miss the in store receipt history. Hope they bring it back.

Error message. I have tried to set up my account with the app and keep getting an error message, even after removing the app and reloading it. I have an account through the website and just want to use the digital deals/coupons feature as pickup is not available for our store. Very frustrating!

Service fee. It needs to be lower. It’s higher than most of the stores in the area. It doesn’t make it worth going through this app when I can get it cheaper without it.

Bring back the old version!. Even though the old version has its flaws, but it was easier to use and navigate. The newest update was horrible. Some time when you try to find an item (to check the price and it’s location )it not even came out in the result. And the filter option is not functioning well.

I regret updating. The pervious version of this app was very user friendly. Now when you scan an item any associated coupon no longer prompts. To find the coupons you have to search through many pages. I attempted to use the app in store yesterday and it did not work. The cashier was just as confused by the app. Please bring that feature back.

Deleted app. I’m someone that’s high risk and have been looking for a way to shop safer. One of the clerks at the store I go to said to try this app. I downloaded it and did everything it asked. When I tried to change my location it wouldn’t take me to my store. Kept saying that the closest store is in Sacramento when I live in Modesto. Someone needs to look into that.

Connection lost. I have tried to open up this app for a week now and when I try, it says Safari can’t open page connection lost, and it only does it with the Food 4 Less app not one of my other apps so what is going on? I can’t even open up the app to get help anything on your app is not working.

Amazing and ease of use. $15 total for tip and delivery is a small sacrifice to pay for the ease and help with a busy schedule. Greater than other apps cause you have a wider range of selections to choice from.

App convenience. Every time I shop at Food 4Less I have the hardest time getting my advertised discounts. I always hold up the line at the cashier’s. The cashier is always so understanding and helpful to me. That is the reason why I return to shop there. I feel your store advertising is just a fishing hook for customers. The software employees could be refreshed to set up an user friendly app. Determine if the app is for “Kroger” Or “Food 4Less”. This may be a major reason why the app does not work at checkout. I just received an email from the developer team at Kroger. I sincerely appreciate the feedback and support they provide. Locations won’t update. There’s a Food 4 Less 1 mile away from my home yet the app tells me the closest store is 345 miles away. When I try to change the location I get the message “an unknown error occurred.” This is extremely frustrating because the weekly ads and food prices aren’t the same rendering the app useless as I downloaded it in hopes of budgeting my shopping list prior to going to the store.

Designed by a non app user. The newest update is FLASHY, Full of graphics and just a bright pile of yuck! Obviously designed by someone who has NEVER EVER had to shop for groceries and worry about prices! Took forever to figure where the weekly ad was. Finding the coupons took even longer. Eventually did get the weekly digital coupons but was such a awful confusing mess I’m not sure exactly how I did it.

Buggy. I’ve had nothing but trouble with this app on iPhone. Will work for a while, then suddenly I can no longer log in. Can’t change password or anything, just goes in a loop. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app numerous times, restarted my phone, nothing works. Customer support was of little to no help. Very frustrating experience. Note that I can use the PC version no problem.

New Version is BAD. They updated the app recently that made it non user friendly. Before, when you scanned an item, if there was an online coupon available it would appear below the item photo so you could click to add it. Now, you have to manually search if a coupon is available. They also used to have “Purchase Hsitory” available so you could access previous receipts; not anymore.

Love it... Except. I like this app better than any other major grocery store app (not including other Kroger's). It's prices are always up-to-date and the inventory is almost 100% accurate. However, one of my favorite aspects is not in the update. I loved that I could see exactly how much money my grocery list was going to cost (pre-tax), but now the total cost isn't showing. That helps so much when you live in a budget and was really a huge reason I choose Food 4 Less over other local stores. I hope the running total on the shipping list comes back!

App Broken - Made in China?. It’s May 29, 2024 and the app kicked me out in the afternoon. I tried to log back in and I cannot get back in. I reached out to their Customer Service team and was told the app is having issues. After trying a few more times since then, I gave up. I use the app because of the digital coupons. But since I cannot log in right now, I will shop elsewhere. Too bad…USELESS!

Love Food For Less but... we love Food 4 Less shipping! Boxing is fantastic! My problem is items they have available to ship. We need to have more items available to ship. I think if they did this they would make a large amount of money. This will be very profitable in this day and age.

Archaic and Nonsensical. The app is a horrible chore to use. The digital coupons are not in the areas you would think and deals are mixed. Digital with regular and regular with digital. There is no list for coupons already clipped. You have to either double check or hope you got what you wanted. Other stores do this way better

Crap of an app and business. I am officially done with this app. Why do I need to login every time I open the app and why did it make it so difficult to have any deals on the app? I can they just have the deals for anybody that comes in and that’s that. Why do I have to login and give them my information? It’s one thing I have to keep logging in now it’s another where they make it so difficult to look for the deal on the app. Can’t find anything to make the app so not user-friendly. Now I’m trying to login it keeps giving me an error I change the password and it keeps giving me an error. It’s very frustrating. I’m done with this store, I can’t believe people still come here and shop with stupid apps like this. I don’t know what kind of trend this is that everybody has a download that stupid app to get so-called deals.

Can not handle digital transition. Company can’t the digital transition society is shifting towards. Twice now no coupons showed up on the bill. Last time it cost me $20 so I emailed and got a blowoff email in return. Hopefully they get an IT Department that can figure it out. Thankfully J*wel/Osc* is closer and they figured out the digital discount. Be going there for awhile to save some money.

Awful. Doesnt allow me to shop my store, like doesnt even show my store. Food 4 less site was working just fine until this update. Now that site redirects u to Kroger and consistently gives an error message. How would I load coupons if I cant even get signed. Bad move

They now have delivery. This is awesome because I am an essential worker and I have been working six days out of a week sometimes 12 days in a row this is a good option so you don’t have to be in the stores trying to find stuff waiting for lines waiting to get in. Thank you And it’s very easy to use

Nice App, But There’s Just One Thing.... One of the things I liked about the Food4Less app was seeing the estimated total of all the items on my shopping list, which made it easy for me to plan my grocery budget. Now, that feature isn’t a part of the updated app, and I miss it. I really hope it’ll be brought back, because it was a helpful tool when I plan my shopping trip. Other than that one issue (which prevents me from giving it five stars), the app is a big help to me when I shop in store and when I make out my list at home.

App from food for less. The app for location stays open and shortens battery life. The cashiers at the El Monte location are no help to customers who want to down load the app. One big cashier with black curly hair is very rude when asked for help and just removes. Sale items and tells you to down load app and come back later she don’t help people with app questions. Use the app to save a dollar or two is not worth the battery going dead and hassle to use it in store thanks but no thanks

Went backwards. There was nothing wrong until this last update. You can’t find the coupons or weekly ad as easy as before. The filter on the coupons does not give you simple options and only lets you select on department at a time. Easy app turned difficult

App for Kroger franchise only. App owner maybe you all should consider letting people know that Food 4 Less is owned by different companies. I was stunned for the reason this app wasn’t showing the Food 4 Less location in my area until I done my research and found out this Food 4 Less app is for the Kroger franchise and the Food 4 Less in my area is owned by PAC Inc franchise. Wikipedia list different franchises that owns the Food 4 Less stores in the U.S. I actually made an account that is useless for me and I’ll be deleting the app.

Ridiculous. Thought this app would be convenient but it’s nothing but an extra stress trying to figure out. Every time I try to place my pickup order, it says there is an error when I try signing into my Kroger account. I’ve tried different options over and over and it just doesn’t work. Waste of time app.

Email error. Have installed, uninstalled, reinstalled. Changed my password, confirmed my password, changed my password again….. still get email error every time!!!!! I can’t even log in to use your app and shop the deals at the store. What a horrible app! How are we supposed to get the deals? When are you going to fix the app? You already took every good store out of our area in Springfield, MO and left us with only Food 4 Less. You sold all the Dillons to the horrid, expensive, dirty Price Cutter chain. Bring Dillons back or give us a real Kroger and FIX YOUR APP!!!!

Sick of it!!!!. Every time I log on to the app and try to add food from my previous order, it makes me sign in again, and once I do that and choose all the items I want and go back to the app, nothing is there. This is the worse app I’ve ever had to deal with, don’t bother getting it, just order from elsewhere!

Won’t let me sign in. This app used to work so fine for me but lately every time I sign in it doesn’t let me it stays on the screen for sign in and the sign in button is gone and I tried deleting the app restarting and it doesn’t work. I tried to see if it needs an update and it just doesn’t work sorry but bad app

Digital coupons. Before the latest update I was able to clip any and all coupons in app. Now for whatever reason certain coupons require I leave the app to login on the website to clip the coupon. Why can’t it all just be in app? Makes no sense.

It’s so bad. The app before was really great. Updates are suppose to make the app better but this new version is so awful. It was so disappointing. It’s just not easy to use. The convenience is gone. You were able to do more on the previous version. It’s not appealing either. I don’t use the app like I used to. please change it back.

Update is horrible. The new update is ugly the black and yellow looks like a scam website. And worst of all they took away the weekly ad which I liked looking at before going in. Also, I cannot see which coupons I have clipped and saved to my account without sorting through all the coupons. I used to clip what I liked then review what I clipped to make my list. You took away the functionality of this app.

This app never works properly. Today is July 27, 2022. I went to the market with my mother because she doesn’t have a smart phone to use for the coupons, as when we were checking out I put my phone number in the Device where the cashier told me to, she told me that I didn’t have the app but she was going to give me the coupons, every time I go or my sisters go with my mother this app does the same thing. I wasn’t the only one in the market having issues with it app

Just dont like the changes. Ive been using this for a couple of months and i like how everything was able to be located on the app but with the recent changes it takes you out and takes you to the website instead of it all just being displayed on the app like before

I dislike this app, put back the old app. Now days I hardly shop here and the only reason is because I don’t receive the ad on the mail like everybody else did n every city, I use to be able to see the ad on the old app but on this new app I try to look for it week after week and I just can’t find it so I don’t shop here much anymore , I rather shop elsewhere where I can see if the items I need are on sale or at a decent price. Disappoint. It’s stupid that I have to have a payment method stored just to load the coupons. I’m not paying with the app so I don’t see why I need the payment method. I only have cash and my account is empty so it’s not even letting me download the app at all. Very frustrating.

Not happy. Every time you enter app. Must enter pass word it feels like am going in to my bank app. What is so top secret that having so much trouble to look for weekly ads. Got 5 favorite markets now Food for less is the last one to look and shop.

EMAIL ERROR😡. At the end of my patience trying to just LOG IN! “Email error-try again” I have tried again and again. Fix the bugs in the app already. Recent reviews are horrible and as the app developer being paid by Kroger, this product you’ve developed is useless.

Terrible update and not UI friendly. This update is absolute dog water. The UI is not user friendly, mx also seems they removed the weekly ad that you can view. Please revert back to the previous version

Extremely Hard to Use. This new version is not intuitive. It is time-consuming to use. Items cannot be selected easily by touching. I’m giving up on it, it is time-consuming to use and it’s FRUSTRATING.

Need barcode coupon scanner back. I used to be able to scan the digital coupon and now I can’t this is useless! Bring back the digital coupon scanner you fools!!

The app kept messing up not worth my time.. It wouldn’t even load the card so I can pay for it. Just sent me to blank pages over and over again while my Walmart app works fine. So it’s not my phone at all it’s the app.

Doesn’t work.. The app won’t let me store more than 1 item at a time to my list. And then after I finally got all the item on. I went to the store and they all were gone. This app doesn’t work fix it cause Food4Less app is wasting people time with trying to shop.

Unusable. Would love to try this app to start saving money, if only it actually let me select a Food 4 Less store, literally any Food 4 Less store, as my preferred store. Sadly it only lists every Fred Meyer within a 50 mile radius and nothing else. Tried reporting this problem on their website and the same thing happened.

Worst App. I downloaded the app, creates account and would not recognize my info. I reset the password at least 7 times. Every time I reset it, would go back to log in and would not recognize it. Was never able to sign in, in the app.

Purposely built to fail ?. Poorly built app. Slow, cumbersome to navigate and half the time e coupons don’t come up. The app feels like an afterthought meant to purposely fail so the consumer is forced to pay full price and not use the supposed coupon.

Useless. Out of ALL the retail apps I’ve downloaded, this is the most frustrating and useless one of them all. I’ve asked several of the local Food4Less cashiers for help and they have even less of a clue on how to activate the coupons. Ridiculous.

Horrible steals your money. After you place a delivery order they’ll randomly take money out of your card a couple days later. And they make the refund process horrible only giving you a fake nonexistent credit that never shows up while the Ralphs app the refund process is instant

Terrible IT. I don’t know why they can’t figure out how to do updates. I updated and all my account/login info is gone! My password isn’t working. I’m not going to create another account, I’ll just shop somewhere else!

Dumb. What a horrendous terrible app, for a multi million dollar company they can’t even make a decent proper app. hard to navigate and feels very rough around the edges, I can’t even find the coupons I clipped and everything is so clogged together and messy.

Terrible Update. I don’t like the new redesign of the app, to check your points balance it kicks you out of the app and to safari or google to check and you have to put your password if you didn’t save it, real pain in the *#*#

Listen to your users. Look at your reviews for the last 12 months. Between 1 and 2 stars. Aren’t the feedbacks of your users important for major change to your app?

Bugs, glitches, a mess. Not sure why they force digital coupons if the app you are forced to get never works. They need to fix the app or allow for in store discounts without digital coupons.

Get Better Computer Programmers. Absolutely worthless. Old password doesn’t work. Changing the password still won’t make it work. Have to use Food4Less website to add digital coupons to card. App is confusing to use.

App does not work. This app does not allow you to order for online pickup, once I hit the check out it brings me back and says please choose a way to order. I chose pick up and then it brings me back to choose how to order. I gave it a try more than I should of. Deleting it.

Poorly designed app. Where did my clipped coupons go? Why does it say there’s an unknown error when I tap on Gas savings section? I’d rather not waste 30 minutes on this and pay the 3 extra dollars.

Went from 5 star to 1. This app used to work, but it’s pretty much useless now. They want us to use digital coupons, but no matter how many times I try to log in, the app just doesn’t work. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app, and even creating a new password, but still no luck.

Completely Useless. Every single time I go to use this app I get a “No Network Connection” error, despite the fact that I am on wifi and have cellular data available. Do not waste your time or energy with this app, you’d literally be better off pounding sand.

Standing in food 4 less parking lot. App doesn’t find store only finds store 30 miles away. And there are at least 3 more on the drive to the store 30 miles away I will re rate when the stores are found as others have said

Needs help. I personally don't like this version. I don't like the setup, the homepage or their savings screen. It's so much navigation. It's a no for me. I wish they had a a "clip all" for people like me who just need to save money but dislike the app.

Worst App. The app was fine until they made severe changes to it. Now you can't even search for items nor can you use it cos it says there is no network connection. I needed the app to find items because asking employees is a wasted venture.

Terrible. Kroger purposely makes it as inconvenient and difficult as possible to get coupons by confusing you and making you go through countless steps. I spent 5 minutes trying to get 30 cents off a pineapple.

App Confusing to use. This app is very confusing to use. You know you use the weekly ad to add the digital coupon so we can use it, but you have to click on the Hot Deals Coupon and clip it from there. It’s very complicated to use

Worst app. Doesn't get your location hard to clip coupons had issues just viewing the add and repeatedly showed me stores in LA when I'm no where close to LA. Shared location over and over and app still had issues uploading would not bring up my location to clip any deals near me

Does not work. I’ve gone thru 2 updates and there are still unresolved issues. Can’t open anything in app. Useless. I don’t get their weekly sale paper delivered any more, so I am at a loss. Wish I had someone to complain to.

Food 4 Less app. It’s very hard to use and very hard to navigate. I’ve had it for a while now and still can’t get the hang of. It should be more simple for people like Cell senior citizen.

Hard to navigate. This is the worst shopping app ever. Signs me off every time. Can’t load coupons without signing in again and navigates to a web page and says that I need to sign in again.

Logs me into my other Kroger affiliate account every time I load. This app thinks it’s smart by loggin me I to thr account I have st another Kroger affiliate site. It’s like musical chairs from one buggy site to the other. There is a reason every recent review gives this app one star. It’s utter garbage n buggy and annoying stupid
