Wonderful. Big fan!!!!! SO useful!!

Exactly what we needed. Found this app by luck in prep for our South Island trip. It has everything we need to feel comfortable in a camper for 18 days, showing powered and dump sites, among other important things, by using the filters. Wonderful job, worth the money absolutely and we haven’t even gotten on the road yet.

Super and User Friendly. What a pleasure to use. This is a "must have" for caravaners and campers touring in New Zealand. Would however be nice if users added their comments about the individual parks more often.

Ok app, search is not great. This app would be so much more useful if the search were intersection, meaning when I select something like the three filters “tent allowed, showers, laundry”, it only shows places that have all three, not just places that have one of the three. Otherwise makes search unusable because the more filters you select, the more sites you see, which is the opposite of how it should be. :(

Best NZ camping app. Fantastic app for finding campsites in NZ. Lots of sites, easy search filters, many camper reviews. Includes many sites not found on Campermate or other camping apps. Highly recommended.

Beat camper App ever. I am three weeks into my two month tour of the South Island and have found every DOC campsite and private campsite that I have stayed at. The reviews have been extremely accurate and helpful. I’m touring in a self contained and have stayed at full service to off grid. I love this app and don’t think I would have had half as much success without it. Spend the couple bucks, it will pay for itself the first night!

NZ. Big fan of WikiCamps Australia and future travel plans include New Zealand so I grab the app now. Keep up the good work guys

A must-have for road trips. Fantastic app for camping and road trips with hidden gems scattered everywhere. Definitely recommend.

March update. I am in NZ on holiday and was happily using the app. Did the update a few days ago and nothing but trouble. Now it won’t even open my saved trip. Says “can’t load trip, try again later”. Have been trying repeatedly for 12 hours. Not happy Jan!

Mise à jour désastreuse et aucune solution apportée. Nous avons toujours utilisé Wikicamps pour nos déplacements en Nz et en Australie et nous sommes déçues par la nouvelle mise à jour. Cela fait plus d’une semaine que nous n’avons plus aucun accès à la plate-forme. Nous avons contacté a de multiples reprises le service d’aide mais aucune réponse n’a été apportée. N’achetez pas l’application, ça ne sert absolument à rien. Restez sur campermate qui est gratuite et à ce jour plus fournies que Wikicamp ironiquement…

Wiki camps Australia or New Zealand. You could be forgiven for thinking this is wikicamps Australia, app has not been properly configured for NZ. I found the first map of Australia after 10 seconds. If you want NZ users properly configure the app. Edit: new version still shows maps of Australia.

Very helpful, easy-to-use app.. I use the Australian version of this app all the time in my home country. It’s fantastic. The NZ version is also great but is not as well used by campers and reviewers as in Australia and so many sites have no ratings and reviews and, even where there are reviews, they are several years old. Still, it is the most helpful camping app I’ve used in NZ.

use Wikicamps. We have used Wikicamps in both Australia and NZ. It is necessary for any camper or motorhome traveller. In NZ photos are rare and comments good. The problem is that sometimes ther is no comment for a year or more and one does not know if the place is still operating

Could be better. It is ok but seems to lack some polish. Hopefully it is a work in progress

Helpful to find motorhome freecamps. This app has been most useful for us as we travelled around the north island. The review system is great as you get a feel for others experience. Shows you lots of dump sites which you need with self-contained free camping. Would highly recommend if you plan to trip around NZ.

Disappointed. I have lost 6 months worth of research due to the new upgrade on the NZ app. I never received a notification ☹️( I got the AUSTRALIA one) all the icons / ratings have disappeared aswell? I am devastated it’s hours of research for our move over gone 🥹

New version - major problem. All location ratings have disappeared!

A great App. We used this guide in North Island. It proved to be very easy to use, accurate and extremely helpful in locating places to camp. The many user comments on the sites were highly informative and accurate for the places we stayed. Thanks for a great App!

Major bug since the last update. Since I update the app 2days ago the app is a big mess, I can’t access to all the info like before! For example: missing all the notes or can’t use the filter free camp as info missing to most of the camp. Please reverse the update ASAP! As it’s impacting a lot our traveling thought NZ, thanks 😁

Horribly buggy and slow. For some reason the NZ version seems to be horribly buggy and slow, which I never experienced in the Australian one. Using an iPhone 13, the app hangs for no reason for minutes, often for good. Every time I open the app it takes a good 20-30 seconds to start up. For a paid app, this is a joke.

Check the last update. Since the last update I cannot visualise anymore information and icons related to campgrounds

Awesome. Love it.

Nice but sadly outdated. I have used the Australien version of WikiCamps, wich generally looks the same and seems to display the same information. Once you start travelling with WikiCamps Nz you notice that a lot of information is not up to date and you will find sites closed or completely removed years ago. In it self the display of outdated information is not a problem but the lack of reviews makes it a gambling game whether the information on the app is still true today. With a active community this App would be awesome in the current state ist moderately helpful at best. So if you get this app (which you should), write a loot of reviews to ensure a better usability for everyone.

Very glitchy. App has a lot of bugs and takes around 10 minutes to load to 100% to open. Very annoying. It can also glitch and close while using it. Other than that it is very helpful.

Helpful travel tool. We used this travelling around NZ. Great tool with comments and prices as well as offline options for those not connecting phones os.

Fantastic app for finding everything as you travel. Use it find places and points of interest as we travel. Can be used without phone reception. It’s fantastic!! Very useful.

Holiday making app. This is a great app and really helped us to have a wonderful trip. We used it for 14 days campervan-ing round the South Island. The app allowed us to plan easily and adapt our plans on the fly to suit what we found each day, the weather and our mood. A great companion!

Bad upgrade. Was the best camping app in New Zealand; now it is unusable. Will not usually load. If it does load it will not save maps previously downloaded for offline use. Give it a miss🤡🌏
