Very useful app!!!. Great design, easy to use and prices very accurate.

The Ads have destroyed it.. The ads on the new version of the app are the most annoying I have seen in a long time. I'm now looking for a different app that I can pay for that is ad free.

Keep asking for Review. Apps that behave like this gets one star.

Saves $$. Use this whenever I need to fill up. Great for finding best price in me area, as well as when I’m on a road trip.

Easy use easy to save. App really helps tell you how far til next fuel station and it costs. Keeps track of your costs too. You save couple bucks here and there with no problems

Helpful!. Easy to use and makes for some fun on the drive. Def helped us save money.

The equaliser for gouging petrol stations. This app is well presented and has both a map style or list with the options of closest or cheapest. It brings petrol pricing down to a level playing field when you can clearly see who’s charging what. I’ve always found this accurate and informative and uses Govt reported prices in states where available and crowd sourcing for others. Keep up the great work

Fuel watch. Being from WA I have used FuelWatch set up about 15+ years ago. This requires all outlets to publish on the FuelWatch system their Fixed prices for the next day st 3pm. I get an email every day at 3pm stating all the prices in my areas according to my list, giving prices for today and tomorrow. By this I can buy at the bottom of the market probably 20cpl cheaper than with your app which is very good interstate but limited in WA. FuelWatch I believe has saved me lots of $s over many years and I pay a lot more when interstate where the politicians and cronies stopped it. R

favourite stations. Good app! I wish you could favourite certain service stations. Also no woolworths servos are ever updated and only the public updates them. I know they’ve changed from caltex to eg ampol recently, but there are a lot of them near where i live and wish i could see the prices for those stations as well.

It's a great app, but premium Diesel is missing?. The premium diesel fuel is missing from the drop down list. One can chose different types of petrol options such as unleaded, 95, 98 etc., but for diesel there is only one option. Whereas, a lot of fuel stations keep normal truck diesel, adblue diesel and premium diesel as well. It would be good to have premium diesel added to the list and make the app even better for diesel car users. Thanks.

Happy trails. Only had the app for a couple of weeks. But in that time I’ve done a trip from Queensland to Victoria. Love the information that’s available at a touch. My only concern is that the app doesn’t seem to keep up with my current location. I have to descale the map, find myself and rescale the map. But look, I’m probably doing something wrong. I’d recommend this app to any traveler or those who just need to keep a fuel log. Thanks troops, great app!

Great app. This is a great app. Only suggestion would be to have the current price already entered when putting in a new price as this would make it easier to confirm the current price and update the date and time the price was last updated. Cold also add that a variable zoom level at which the servos are shown would be good especially in the remoter areas of Australia where it can be a long way between servos.

Excellent fuel tracker. I love this app. It is the best I have tried!! I love how you input your tank fills and it calculates fuel efficiency. Perfect! Also allows me to track spending over time. One little addition I would like is a tracker for air in tyres. Just because I like to track things and it is a reasonable thing to bundle with fuel - after all keeping the air in tyres full helps rolling and fuel efficiency!

Greatest fuel map App ever. I have been using this App since Dec 17 and found it to be extremely useful not only for finding the cheapest fuel in my area (Hawkesbury NSW) but also for keeping track of my fuel usage. It’s a pity more people don’t use the App and update the fuel prices when they fill up their cars. Petrol companies might be more sensitive to what they charge if they knew ordinary people like you and me are shopping around for the best deal.

Useful app. Good for finding locations of fuel outlets when traveling. Have used it to compare prices and find the cheaper fuel when traveling. I record my fuel purchases out of interest, good to look back on when using different driving styles, for me to compare normal driving to when towing. It would show the difference between city and highway driving if you fill up before and after that type of driving.

Must have app for travelling Oz!. We use this app every time we need to fill up - the variance between stations is unreal & we have saved a buck or 2. We are about to embark on a trip around Oz & this app will be vital when looking for diesel in more remote areas! I’m proactive in updating prices too as I’m conscious this is a user based app & want to help fellow users with up to date prices.

Allan. Easy to use. Can save you money every time you fill up. It is hard to believe that fuel prices can vary so much in one town. It is only a guide as the information you find may not have been updated. It can be more or less than the map price. It is up to all motorists to update the prices to suit on the day.

Please add height limit information. Great app. Prices aren’t always correct but this app has saved me many times when I’ve been low on fuel and in unfamiliar surroundings. The only added feature I can suggest, that would save time is to add the maximum height clearance for each station. I drive a truck and yesterday realised I was a bit low on fuel and had to drive to 4 different station before I found one that I could use due the the height limit.

Keeps crashing - font also way too small. Since initially adding this review the app now continues to crash. Needs a lot of work. This app is all about the price of fuel, but the size of the font is way too small that you can barely see it. On the entire size of an iPhone X screen, the price is about 2mm tall, at the best. Ridiculous. Make the price more prominent. Also you have a confirm price option, but it doesn’t work. The time of update remains the same.

So helpful... This is a fantastic app, so easy to use. I can check everyday to see where the cheapest fuel prices are, whether it be petrol, diesel or gas. The prices vary so much from town to town, even in the same town, so it’s very cost effective to find the station selling at the cheapest price. It’s very easy to zoom in to find the street locations of each service station and to navigate from town to town. Everyone should download this free app; it will save you a lot of money....

The best way to track your fuel consumption. Gives you info on average fuel consumption and shows crowd-sourced fuel prices at all service stations. I’m not going to drive 100 Kays to save 10 cents a litre, but it’s a handy guide. The hard part is remembering to fill in the data when you fuel up. I just photograph the fuel pump readout and the odometer and bang the numbers in later.

Rob. Very useful app. We have been using it since it started and have been all over Australia using it - before we get to a town we look for the cheapest fuel. Because we are driving a diesel vehicle we can use truck depot/stops which this app also has - often a significant saving over "main road" service station prices.

At last, a real time way to save money!. Who can ignore the price of fuel? This is a vital real time tool whenever it’s time to fuel our vehicles. In Cairns, it is nothing to see a 15 cents per litre difference between servos for the same fuel, and this easily translates into savings of $20 per week per vehicle. Knowing which servos are good or bad is now simple- just follow this site. So forget your Coles or Woolies vouchers, and if you don’t, you have way too much money. Also, as we are about to do a road trip to Adelaide for 4 weeks, guess what we are looking at, at the planning stage. Wow, 50 cents per litre difference in just a couple of hundred kilometres - that’s dinner paid for!

Effective map. The fuel map shows data in real time and is reliable enough that other people enter the right price. When you want fuel cheap it’s the best place to go for fuel the first time any time. The only problem is the updating of prices can be left for days on the same price. Confusing to make the decision where to get fuel. Especially since the prices are so high.

Superb support. As everyone has already said, the app is great, although pricing data (being crowd sourced) is not always up-to-date. Recently noticed a glitch where one of my two cars appeared to have been deleted. Not happy, Jan. Emailed support, response in 6 minutes (on a Saturday!). A bug, which will be squashed in the next iteration, means that the vehicle list appears blank. Scroll on the blank list anyway, and there it is. Your car and all the data appears, safe & sound.

Best Fuel Watch App. Amazing app. It allows you to look along your intended route and find the cheapest price and to see the relative prices. You do need to use google to work out if it is worth going off you route to get the cheaper price, but on my last trip I was able to save over 20 cents/litre and it only cost me a couple of minutes over a 6 hour journey.

Great app to check fuel prices. We are travelling around Australia and always use the fuel map to check for cheapest prices. Sometimes we’ve found he price difference to be 10c/L so when you’re filling up 90L it’s a big difference in cost. We also update prices as we see them (even if not stopping) if you can do the same as this only updates based on user input 👍

Top Quality. Super helpful in providing updates of fuel pricing near and far. It’s the only app that I’ve found that’s the closest to perfection. I love the fact of how easily you can update prices before or after you’ve refuelled. Super quick, super easy, 5 stars isn’t enough for the performance of the app. Keep up the solid work.

Price Saver. This is a great app. Shows all the prices for fuel around your area. Great in QLD & NSW, not so much for VIC. Not sure about the other states. You can also log your fuel purchases, and it will calculate distance travelled, average km, L/100km, $/100km and more. Also shows graphing trends of fuel prices over the year, so you can better determine when to purchase your fuel. I use this app every time I’m searching for fuel. A+++

Works, but with issues. I regularly use this app for its purpose of finding cheapest fuel locally. It works very well for that. However, it does sometimes suffer from glitches where different prices are shown as the map is moved. Also it relies partly on crowd-source information so users can add new servos to the map. This is an issue because the map is littered with numerous servos that do not actually exist. There is an option to report a listing, but this does not get followed up and false listings are not removed.

Fuel App. This app has been very handy whilst traveling Australia. Whilst not all prices are accurate it mostly is. Knowing the prices in advance of our trip allows planning of fuel purchases to take advantage of cheaper prices and avoid the more expensive. We fill up jerry cans prior to a stretch of expensive fuel or we put in just enough fuel at an expensive servo to allow us to arrive at a cheaper servo. Overall very useful to save money as well as plan fuel stops.

Brilliant!!. I really appreciate this ap. We’ve had to travel interstate regularly (please don’t judge, cancer and death supersede whatever nasty uneducated judgemental opinions you may have - thanks to those who didn’t even think it) Anyway, this is fantastic for travel as we’ve been able to determine where to stop for fuel. Also the servo’s details are usually provided so I’ve been able to ring them and confirm opening hours. Doesn’t help if people don’t update prices but you generally get a good idea. Great for local use too, saves the driving past several servos to hunt for the best price. Highly recommended.

Great app, need integration to other major apps. Great app but needs more mainstream appeal. If they integrated more closely with the likes of Google/Apple then it would be even more useful. If people had an incentive to enter/confirm prices then confirmed prices may be available earlier each day. Currently I tend to fill up in the evenings as prices are typically not available earlier in the day.

Excellent App. This is the best app I have found for recording fuel usage, also an added bonus that it includes current fuel outlets and prices. Couple of additions that I think would make this app far more superior would be: 1. The ability to filter fuel suppliers ( I have two certain fuel cards and I would like the ability to filter out the fuel suppliers that I can't use my cards at). Other than the above, the app is great.

Wonderful App. It's a great idea as I've been using it for the past few weeks and now I rely upon the app to check my mileage etc. I update prices of some servos when I pass through them. Speedway is another servo that needs to be added. They are mostly cheaper compared to others. App has helped me to find servo each time I was worried of running out of fuel.

Great App but needs a major bug fix. The latest update version of this app has a crash bug. The app opens & as soon as the advert at the bottom of the screen loads the app crashes & shuts down. Nothing fixes this not even deleting the app & reinstalling it. Can the creators please fix this as it is an awesome money saver. 👍🏼

Just so helpful. I find this just so helpful to find cheap prices anywhere in Australia. So use this app and encourage others to use it please, but do spend the extra two minutes to update the fuel prices of the service station not just the fuel you use but as many as you can to help more more people. And this way it will help keep the fuel stations honest.

Latest update too clunky. I have been using this App for about 5 years and have been really happy with it. The latest version update has made it different and in my opinion not as easy to navigate and use. If I make a new entry it doesn’t display Ltrs/100 straight away after saving, I have go back in edit and save again (with no changes made) before it calculates the economy for me. I’m disappointed with the update, but still a good log for fuel usage history.

Updating app. We used Fuel Map, on our travels, and found it to be a great idea. We checked the fuel prices of diesel and often found a big difference in price in the same town. If we found that prices differed from Fuel Map prices, we simply updated the prices in the app. If everyone did this, where they find a difference, the app would soon function as it should. Overall a great app

Great for the traveler. This app has been great for us while traveling, it’s allowed me to bypass expensive stations where there is a cheaper option in the next town. As a few others have said it would be great if you could see stations when zoomed out at bit more to maybe 5-600kms so you could see what’s ahead at about fuel tank distance or even use the black dot with number in it like WikiCamps.

From good to average. I have been using the app for several years and was really happy with it. The recent update has decidedly decreased its rating as a tool for travellers in particular. Today I noticed a fuel price discrepancy and tried to change the price. I was told I can’t do this and had to go through a state govt web site to change it. Most like me won’t be bothered to do so and therefore others won’t be able to plan their fuel stops properly. In this case the price is significantly lower than on the site

Best at the. In NSW fuel price check is now offloaded to FuelCheck so rarely use this feature, not sure about outside of the state. However, I still find its Logbook feature extremely useful, it's simple, easy to use, does the job without any fancy cloud sync or subscription. What's more important is that it allows data export to CSV or transfer to another device. Happy to pay A$2.99 to remove ads to support the app, keep on going, it's my long term logbook app (I believe many other Aussies do the same). Thanks.

Very useful for travellers. I found this app when preparing for my motorcycle trip around Australia. It has been very useful, but hope you can take onboard some suggestions. 1. Allow to show stations without zooming in - Australia is a big place and when travelling up to 1000km in a day it would be easier to look further ahead. 2. Showing selected fuel type is great, but showing all fuel types at selected station would be better. My bike takes 95RON, but some remote stations don't have it. I need to know what the alternatives are as I can use 98 for a period, and I can use 91 but it affects performance and consumption, which may be critical over remote long distances . Also as I learned, 98RON may not pump when the ambient temperature is very high. 3. It would be easier to update the current price if the existing price remained in the field as you updated, because often it is the same price, but you just want to refresh the information so others know it's more current. Thanks for the app though, it has been a great help.

easy to use and surprisingly current. Brisbane drivers pay the highest fuel prices on average because they are too lazy to look at price comparison websites. They have no excuse. This app is very easy to use, and it works on voluntary input from its users. Notwithstanding that I have been (pleasantly)surprised at how current is its information and how comprehensive is its coverage.

Saved so much using this app please update prices when you can. Thus app has saved us over $110 already in the three weeks we’ve been travelling - cost of filling our long range tanks so much easier when you can plan ahead - the app relies on us good folk to keep it updated - thanks in advance for your updates

So easy - leaves others behind. I’ve used a couple of other apps before this one and they were so frustrating. One regularly couldn’t seem to retrieve data, and the other just wouldn’t be accurate. This app is so easy and the data seems correct all the time. It’s just easy all around.

Great app. This is great to use and easy to update data. A few things could be better though like having an off line map and data when you have no service. Being able to see the service stations in wide field view not just the map and having to zoom into fairly close to see if there is a service station in the region, something like WikiCamps do for sites, show in wide field the number of stations in the area of zoom. Sometimes just finding that there's fuel available in the area is what you need. Especially if your in an area where fuel is scarce...

Incorrect Fuel Prices. We love this app, but as we know fuel is going through the roof. Here in Queensland, I may be wrong, but the government source the prices. So we planned on getting fuel in Kilkivan at the BP and it’s 10c more expensive than what’s advertised on the app 9 hrs earlier. How can this be? It makes it hard to plan our fuel stops.

Best app. I always use this application it’s very handy to search the Petrol price. And it’s easy to use. One thing is missing in the application is user should be allowed to choose what program ( Google maps, waxes, apple maps or any other map he want use with this application it should be up to user. But app doesn’t allow this. Please fix it.

Search Functionality needed. I love this app and use it regularly however it could be improved even more with a search functionality. Many times I want to search a certain petrol station but cannot do this. I often know I will be at a certain place later in the day but unless you are close it is almost impossible to find the price of that station until you are in the close vicinity, by then it is too late. Please bring in this capability and I will give 5 stars.

Great app. I have used this app for a quite a while now but am starting to see so called enhancements that seem to be achieving the opposite. I refer mainly to the graphing function which in my opinion is now far less user friendly with bar chart than the previous line chart. Definitely a step in the wrong direction. Love the app though just disappointed to see enhancements like this that actually degrade the quality of the app.

Restore the home of quick access to all types of fuel update. We used to be able to update very quickly from map view, each petrol price. Now we need to enter each page to update price of each type of fuel. This will only discourage people from updating all petrol types for others... takes too much time. Pls restore that function?

Top quality app. Used this app for my trip across Australia, Tassie to WA and return. Easy to use, find garages, compare fuel costs and plan a trip. The car fuel log component is easy to complete and provides an excellent report regarding car economy. Lastly, exporting the car report is easy and the format is very usable. Probably the best designed app I have at the moment. Thanks

Ripper app. Love the app. Often saves me good coin on fuel for both my bike and my car. Only problem I can see is that if no one goes to a servo for a while it obviously doesn’t get updated. If this app could hook into other means of finding accurate prices that would make it 5 stars. Like the the NSW fuel watch app updates live so if that happened on this app it would be 5 stars. Been using it for 3 years at least with no glitches or freezes so far. Would recommend.

Great app. This works really well to check fuel prices as well as keeping track of fuel consumption on multiple vehicles. The only thing that would improve it for me right now is if it could come up in Apple Car Play so my passenger could look for the best price while I was driving.

Trip option. This is a great app and the ability to log fuel purchases is very handy. One feature that I feel would make the app even more useful would be a trip function. This would allow you to put in where you are currently and where your destination is. The app would then list the one cheapest station on that route for your fuel type. An option could also be to have it within a range of say 1km radius of the route.

Perfect for roadtrips & remote Australia. Wish there were more users so prices could constantly get updated on the day in remote Australia but beside that the app is just perfect! Make sure to update prices if using it! Cheers

Fuel Map Australia. Best app ever! Calculates fuel economy accurately even when you don't fill the tank. Lots of info. Using it while driving around Australia for 11 weeks. When are you coming to Canada?
