Awesome app. Great app! I love how it helps me over power my habits to make and learn great habits for myself

I love it even though it could use one big change. The numbering system isn’t motivating. Instead of showing negative numbers, it should just reset to 0. The motivation is to get the number as high as possible.

So helpful!. This app had helped me SO much! I haven't missed a single day so far for any of my habits simply because I can't stand the idea of breaking the chain! I HAVE to check the little box or it will drive me crazy and that's EXACTLY what my forgetful self needs!

Stopped working after two years. I love(d) this app but am no longer able to open it. Two years’ worth of my habit tracking is now gone. While the app is easy to use, the lack of a log in to an online portal means you can lose your data and never retrieve it. Something to keep in mind before downloading.

High hopes. Getting to know the app but I hear amazing things about it.

Solid app!. Use daily to keep track of important and basic stuff that I want to do but tend to forget. The reminders and the ease of use of the app are very good.

I love Good Habits!. I love this app. I used it a lot on my iPhone. I added a bunch of daily repeating To Do items. And after using the app for a while, I felt much more motivated and productive. My habits really have improved. Great job, Good Habits. I’ve seen “games” that try to make your life into an RPG computer game. Those don’t really appeal to me much. Whereas I appreciate the simplicity of Good Habits.

Awesome. Super easy Layout, easily customizable. Really excited about it 👽 negative your wish improvements do wish I had ability to track over achievements but not make them a negative when not achieved, that's something I would pay for. As a side note I did laugh when the app offered the extended Versions bonus of being able to give yourself and excuse. Not really important to me. 😊 but all said i like this app lot.

On task. Keeping myself aware of everything I need to do.

Just ok. The standard version is pretty good but when I purchased the expansion it stopped working and just crashes automatically every time I try to open the app after that.

Simple app, does exactly what I wanted. I was looking for a simple app that will let me track any activity for a number of days. This one does exactly what I was looking for.

Best habits app. I love this app for helping me remember the daily and weekly things. Sometimes a checkmark fails to stick, but not often, and I much prefer this app over the kind that are more about coaching you rather than just allowing you to simply record. It's an aide memoire, which is what I need.

Oh... my...gosh. LOVE it. One of the few habit apps with Apple Watch complication, and the ONLY one with a number. Others have circles or dots...I donno... I just like a numeric representation of my tasks.

Great app for inspiring change. I love this app because it is easy to use, flexible to configure, and keeps the motivation to stick with your good habits for years (going on 5 years using this app!). I recommend to all my friends.

Amazing app!. I love this app, and I use it a TON. Unfortunately, I just paid for the full version, and every time I try to type in why I missed a day, it freezes up and shuts down. Other than that, it's great!

Simplest and Easiest way to track goals. I love this app!

Minimizes Immediately. After applying the in app purchase for tracking on IPhone 6 Plus, the application won't stay open on the screen, minimizing immediately after opening. It is completely useless unless you delete the app and reinstall without the purchased functionality.

Love this. Great app. Ive tried many other apps and they’re all flashy. This is simple and to the point which i love. Looking forward to more updates

great if it was updated. I really liked this app for the watch complication. It hasn't been updated for couple years. The watch app works fine but opening the actual app takes me about 3 tries of crashing. There's a weird thing when logging streaks, I haven't figured out how to get them to all connect- touching a day does different things with no consistency. Wish it was updated.

Love the app but.... Data did not transfer to new iPhoneX (from 6s plus). Followed directions to export data but link never worked. Had to start over after 580 days.

Great App! Just what I needed.. This is a great app. I know a ton of people using it, and everyone loves it. The color-coding is one of the best parts. The only thing I wish is that there was something that made checking things off more exciting. I mean, I was about to make a sticker chart before I found this.

Begins to crash and won't reopen. Immediately after paying for the full version the program began crashing/closing. You can't reopen the app either by closing and reopening it or restarting your phone. The last time I deleted and reinstalled the app and that worked though I lost my progress. When this happened again today I realized this wasn't a random problem.

Great at what it is made to do!. Simple. Effective.

Functional but not exciting. I value function over form so then bare bones feel of the app doesn't bother me. It definitely gets the job done but there's some things that could be improved in the UI.

Good so far for this ADDer. I downloaded this app (having used several) to try to keep track of the habits I am trying to maintain and give myself a virtual cookie, so to speak, for consistency. So far it's been simple and easy to use. I did pay for the tracking so I can see what my patterns are for not completing tasks - as some have mentioned it seems a little silly of a feature to be a paid upgrade but the rest of the app is free and without ads and the developers have to pay the bills somehow, so I'm happy to pay for it. My only qualm is that when I put in the reason for missing, it's not really clear that it's been "submitted" - and have accidentally submitted an excuse multiple times and had ALL of those entries show up separately in my stats. Kind of confusing - and I couldn't find a way to delete the duplicate entries. I had just started the habit so I just deleted it and started over, but if I had a longer streak I probably would have been frustrated by the false data in my stats.

Add notes. I'd like to be able to add notes along the way. As it is now, I can only add notes about days I miss. I'd like to be able to add notes after any day, even the ones I complete.

Excellent--so helpful!. Really found this app helpful for getting myself organized. A lifesaver if you struggle with executive function!

Have been using this app for years. and now it is suddenly incredibly slow. Trying to check a box will sometimes take me to the habit page, rather than just checking the box, but it takes forever to refresh and the new view to load. Is frustrating.

Habit changing. An easy, once a day reminder to gently build healthy habits

So pragmatic and motivating. I use this app any time I’m trying to build a new habit. It has helped me drink enough water, start meditating, and pay closer attention to what I’m eating.

Great design. I absolutely love tracking habits in this app, and have been using it for quite some time. The newest upgrade does resolve any crashing issues experienced previously (thanks!). Design is clean and lovely.

Excellent and simple app to track your habits!. I use this app daily and it’s nice to be able to set different categories for habits you want to track. One feature I’d love to see is a dark-mode UI! Also, the ability to track frequency versus just a streak (for example 5/7 weekly goal regardless of what day it’s completed on)

App Crash. I downloaded and purchased labeling access. I started to add in titles and add info and it crashed. I reloaded, re downloaded and it continues to crash immediately. It won't even open. Please fix! iOS iPhone 5s

Habits. Love the app. Very basic, very simple. Don’t need to make daily activities complex.

Good App that I Use daily. I like the features this App has: color coding, being able to pause and/or delete a habit, being able to go back if one failed to record and being able to note why one skipped. Would love to be able to make notes on habits. ie my habit is to walk 10,000 steps a day. Sometimes I go over that amount. It would be great to be able to note the exact number of steps I walked per day. And it would be great to be able to note a time stamp.

Good App. Good app to form good habits

Amazing. I love this app. It's neat and clean and does exactly what I want it to do! The unlock-able stats features are a nice add on to the app.

Really useful. This app has really helped me keep focused on my goals. It's simple, very visual and easy to use. Would be even better if you could have a fort nightly goal (for calls to people etc)

Very good chain habit management tool. Works really well with lots of features - supports reminders and non-daily habits, plus is quite pretty. The in-app purchase lets you diarise why you didn't meet a daily goal; the app works well without it and is otherwise not limited in any way. Really pleased - it's helping me meet my goals.

Amazing..ios8 however. This is an amazing app and have had no problems until i updated to ios 8. The data for the days after i updated my phone are deleted constantly which has been over a week. An update is well needed! Never had an issue with the app until now. Really handy as i can keep track of things i need to do/habits each day. :)

Simple and so easy to use. I've used a few daily task apps before finding this one and have found this to be such a breath of fresh air. It's so easy to setup your daily tasks and you can assign different colors to different categories. Also if you miss days it's easy to restart and keep track of what days you have missed :) great app!

Excellent but with a few more features it could be fantastic. I am using it to track habits and love it but would love three more features: 1. The ability to categorise habits 2. The ability to track my completions previously (preferably in separate categories of habits (- see above) 3. Cloud integration so I could use iPhone and iPad with the same data and not have to enter everything again when I upgrade my device (Itunes just doesn't work for me due to issues of upgrading my computer)

Works great for starting a new habit. This is a great app. It helped me to start some new habits. You won't want to break the chain! It is easy to use. It has one minor bug I've noticed, it gets the names of days wrong for days when you don't do the habit. No big deal, it's a great app

Broken - data vanishes. I loved this app until six days into using it, when I opened it to find all my data wiped. That's not acceptable, given the central function is supposed to be data logging (iOS 8.2 on iPhone 5s).

Basic but functional. Easy to use. Been using it for a few weeks to remind myself to floss and haven't missed a day yet.

Simple but effective. could use more function with each habit entered-like a journal component for each day but is effective for tracking habits.

Great app!. I wanted a simple way of keeping myself on track every day for the daily habits and goals I wanted to achieve. The basic (non-premium) version of this app works like a charm. It's simple, you can add multiple habits to track, and it presents your data in an easy to see way without being "judgemental" when you don't achieve your daily goal. I would like to see more ways of visualizing my data included, but overall it's great.

Great until recent update!. It worked great until the December 2015 update - now the app opens and then closes immediately. Frustrating!! THEN, the fix update for the above issue ERASED ALL OF MY DATA. No habits, no reminders, no chains, no past information (which I'm supposed to give my doctor!) ... it's all GONE. I guess I'm looking for a new habit-chain app. Too bad, this one really worked well for me - until it didn't.

Good habits is a good app. I find it incredibly useful to track daily habits that I often might miss. It reminds me to take my vitamins, exercise, eat breakfast, and more. I find it very satisfying to stamp it when I remember and it's very motivating to keep a streak going! I try to get each habit to 28 and beyond! I recommend this habit to everyone, but especially people who may be a little forgetful at times.

It was good before the update. I’ve been using this app for years but after the update today (Oct 30), each time you put a check, it kicks me out of the app. I have to put 5 checks and it kicked me out of the app 5 times. So annoying. Don’t fix something that isn’t broken!

Sometimes all we need is a simple app.... Without the extra bells and whistles that may detract us from our main goal. Good Habits is pretty straightforward and focuses on carrying its job to help you keep track of your habit streaks. The app has a user-friendly and functional interface. I deducted one star for the graphics resolution, as this is an area which can still be improved for us who use it on the iPad. Overall, the app is quite easy to use and effective. I have been using it for almost a month and find it really motivating.

Great app but it LOST ALL MY DATA. This is one of my favorite apps, and gladly would have given it 5 stars...if not for the fact that I opened the app today to find ALL of my habits and historical data. I've been using it joyously and religiously and the BAM! I just lost all of the value i derived from the app. Crying shame.

Patience. Occasionally crashes, failing to open. Be patient and works later that day is the next. Otherwise a great app.

Great way to "Stay on Target". Helps me keep doing the good things I need to do everyday.

Erased data. Are you kidding me? The most recent update erased all my data. All my progress gone. I've been using your app for almost a year and am so disappointed.

Simple and effective. No bells and whistles but it does just what it promises. Set remainders for things you want to accomplish daily, new habits you're trying to build, and view a calendar of your progress. Terrific.

Clean and simple. The reminders are non-functional on my phone. Otherwise I would rate it higher. Without reminders, this is basically just Streaks without the options.

Super helpful. I find this app extremely helpful. It has helped me to remember to make time for things that are important. One change I would love to see is a running tally if how many days you have completed the task out of the total days you have had the task listed. Yes, it's good to know your longest chain, but it's also encouraging to know that 24 out of the last 25 days you've completed the task.

Easy to get started. I love simple and straightforward apps, it even comes with a nice quick tutorial that gets you up and going in a snap. Love the concept that encourages you in your good habits by challenging you not to break your chain.

Great, and no longer crashes on launch!. Used to love this app. After 'improved' update to version 1.1, it wouldn't launch on iPhone 5. But version 1.1.1 fixed this, and adds some nice changes. Wish it wouldn't use a badge icon for uncompleted tasks, but this is easy to fix in Notification Center. Otherwise, a nice, simple habit tracker that's a pleasure to use and reinforces the 'don't break the chain' vibe.

Confusing. Very nice on most of the features but need to fine-tine some topics like color understanding and standardization (look randomly like a circus), doesn't hv the ability to hv habits with no specific day and being track the same way, none statistics. You can go and take some good things from CLEAR AND FULL, to keep improving .... But definitely you are in a good path.

Easy to use & helpful. This is a nifty little app. Would love to be able to flex specific days of the week, as my schedule changes weekly for some of those 3 or 4x weekly habits. It would also be cool to link a couple of habits together for viewing on the same screen.

(Fixed for iOS 8) Changed my life. This App was left behind for iOS 8, but has caught up nicely. Good UI and simple daily tracking. There are no sharing or part-on-the-back features. This is a clean, change-your-patterns App. Pay the buck and reward good developers.

Great App. Use this every day

Great app for committing to small goals!. I have found this app so helpful! It's great for small goals that remind yourself to do things that ultimately will help you see an improvement in your life overall. It helps to see the number grow each day and the simply grayed out design when you don't complete a goal is enough to make you feel bad but not discourage you from using it further. I also use it to help me track things that aren't goals like keeping track of heart arrhythmias on a day to day basis. It is easy to use and effective. I highly recommend.

Love it. Give a setting option to Take away the red # reminders. Love this app! Use it daily. With the new update it has where you choose "days to do this". Perfect! I love that update!!! One change though...some habits Good Habits are "do it 3x/week" and it doesn't matter which days. So the Red #s on the home screen are a little too much. Maybe have an option to turn that setting on and off? Thx!

Excellent - heads above other habit apps. For New Years I downloaded about 10+ habit apps, I have a hard time making a habit of ANYTHING. All the other apps have now gone by the wayside. This app is head & shoulders above the rest. And graphically this app is much nicer than its competitors. Below is a long review of many of the positive ways this works. Some I didn't expect: I am seeing for the first time those habits I struggle with vs those I don't, so maybe my issue isn't always "habits" as much as resistance to certain activities. Now I can try and address those. Things I thought were hard to do like practice a little are proving really easy while flossing is more resistant! You get credit for planning to take certain days off so credit for sticking to a plan, and if the plan was too ambitious I adjust it down until I can succeed; try for 3days/wk vs 5, or give up Tue where I keep failing ... Figure out how to set myself up to succeed to build on it. Unlimited habits mean I can see what I expect of myself in the course of a normal week, so even if I'm not perfect it helps me stay mainly on track so far - writing to friends is on my list... Endless web surfing is not!! I get credit for the former, not the latter! Other apps limited number of habits, but that's unrealistic - I need a way to stay on top of the things I must do in a week; floss, have "focus hours" daily, exercise, practice, take pills etc. Overall great!

Good app!. Overall it is a good way to keep track of habits you are trying to create. With the latest update, however, there are red notifications asking you to share the app on Facebook and with friends. Unless you tap to do these, the notifications stay there. What an obnoxious way of encouraging people to share!

Simple, elegant. This a great app that's helping me avoid the rationalization I would do to avoid simple daily tasks. The only option I would like to see added is for a feature where an event doesn't have to be daily. When I contacted the author with a question, they responded within minutes! Excellent support.

Love it and will love more with updates. I love this app so much. It's made doing some little everyday tasks fun/necessary because I don't want to break my chain. Updates like allowing a custom chain (for something done only on Tuesday and Thursday for example) and allowing the chains to be ordered and color-coded by the user would make this app even more awesome.

Good app but also suggestion. I really like this app. It's great for forming new habits - it's streamlined and easy to use. I do wish, however, that you change the order of the habits. Currently, they appear in a list in the order they were created. It's be more helpful if we could order them as we see fit.

Love this app!! Updated and now crashing :(. I'm in love with this app. It's super easy to use with minimum functionality. Thats a good thing in this case, you don't get side tracked or lost in all the stuff you can do. It's helped me loose weight, walk my dog more, and keep better tabs on my finances.

Great, but needs some tweaks. Most pressing issue: push notifications. I'm not getting any, and that's a problem. Otherwise, I love this app. Its's beautifully designed and has a great amount of potential. Like other users, I would love to customize the days on which habits repeat (eg, Tues/Thurs only) and custom color-coding. Otherwise, love it!

Love the app but broken on iPhone 6s Plus since this morning?!?. Broken....

Tracking Habits. I really like this app because the chain method is very powerful and it liberates my daily to-dos from my larger to-do list. The interface is much nicer than other apps. But developer: PLEASE add functionality for habits that aren't daily! PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE. I'm begging you. For example: I really want to add exercise to my list and set it up to remind me Monday, Wednesday and Friday-- and to track my chain so that when i don't exercise on Tuesday or Thursday, it's not a break in the chain.

Simple but flexible. I chose this over similar apps because it allows multiple habits to be tracked and has the ability to set your own schedule. I am only a week into using it but can already count a couple of nights when I forced myself to do something just to keep the chain going. Might not be for everyone but it works for me.

Pretty great. Excellent simple and easy to apply app for daily habit forming. Kinda feels pretty crap when you fall off the wagon though- had to go back and erase history just so I didn't feel discouraged or burdened (maybe a save and hide feature for past to be able to focus on now and future?) Would add features for: 1) habits that aren't every day (visualize chain possibly with smaller lines through X-es on days habit is performed) 2) Encouragement reminders that state your long term goal when missing day or X amount of days, or maybe daily just because. 3) Achievements - badges, foursquare-like for certain milestones, perhaps with a diary function for expressing feelings/changes or documenting accomplishments/goals met. If you want to keep it perfectly simple just a simple time milestone i e 100 days 6 months 1 year etc. Thanks for the app!

Simple and elegant with lots of potential. Such a quick and easy interface so as to be transparent to your everyday use. There are, of course, many powerful things this app has the potential to do in future updates (trend tracking, periodic habits like emptying the trash or watering the garden); but what a great start. The price is nice too!

It just works. My first review. At Christmas I decided to set some life and business goals. In doing this I realised there were some stages to accomplish to reach these and some habits to form. I kept the number of habits low and now, after nearly 3 months, I don't really need the app to remind me so I've just switched those out for new ones. I have 3 set - fitness, personal and business. Simple, easy to use AND effective app. This is a great, minimalistic app that visually rewards you in a nice, unobtrusive way. I like that it doesn't involve social media competitiveness to my goals. It's not like I need the rest of the world to know that I've met my goal of doing laundry more often! (Though, I guess it does now ;)

Effective Because It's Simple. This app is simple, straightforward, and easy to use. That is extremely important to one undergoing changes in habits, as the actual change is a significant enough challenge in itself. That's why I love this app so much. It has helped me: maintain proper dietary approach for months on end, stick to an exercise routine, daily Bible reading, etc. It's one of the first apps I install when I get a new phone. What would be a great feature addition would be the ability to set schedules in addition to explicitly setting days. For example, "every other day indefinitely, regardless of what day it lands on."

Great little app. It's a great way to implement the Seinfeld method for yourself without pesky and cumbersome paper calendars. In fact this app should have been called Seinfeld Method, but I understand that would have been like blood in the water to the lawyers and then we would not have been able to enjoy the simple brilliance of this app.

Eh we will see. So far I like the concept and started to put it to use, but some habits I need to work on are not everyday or even once a week. I feel like there needs to be a way to make the chain and the reminder for options of like every other week. Then I would give it another star.

Great habit tracking app. This app is great - it lets you create a list of habits. Then, you can assign days of the week you want to perform those on and/or set reminders. One nice feature would be a "don't count today against my chain" if you miss a day because you had good reason to.

So motivating.. I got this app because I could not, for the life of me, get myself to brush my teeth every night. But the first time I broke my chain, I felt traumatized. Now, nothing is more motivating than seeing that little number and knowing I'm going to lose it all if I miss a night. I highly recommend this elegant app. Personal tip: only try to build one habit at a time. Work on one for at least 20 days before adding a new one. That way there's no chance of overwhelming yourself.

Love this app!. This app has been helpful to me in developing several habits that I'd been struggling with and I love adding new habits as I conquer old ones. I also love the update that allows you to pick which days to 'count'. The only thing I would change is I would love to see the options for a habit to be '3 days per week' and not have to pick the days. I run three days a week, but they are always different days each week and I wish there was a way to track those goals.

Perfect design with all my minimum requirements.. I downloaded a bunch of free apps (5) similar to this and this is one of the two I decided to keep. Love the simplicity and clean design. It has all the minimal requirements in one compact design. Love it. I actually use this app over the 2nd I kept because of the design. Nice job guys.

App-tastic!!!!!. This is an amazing app all around!!!! I am currently doing two 52 habit change programs to wellness and I couldn't do it without the use of this app! It is so simple in design but does a world of good for anyone that is trying to build a habit. The one thing I would add would be to have a rewards program built in. You would set yourself goals through the app and set rewards for those goals (they could be app generated as well as have the ability to be personalized by the user). This would really make this app complete. But for now I do my goal setting in a paper journal. I really love this app!!!!

Love it. This works really well for me to make some changes I want to make. It's easy to use and the most recent update fixed my only complaint. I can now reorganize the tasks in the order I want them and set days that they apply to.

Like it!. The new version gives me a helpful way to journal successes with the housekeeping items in my life as I ride the train to work each morning. I wonder if the monthly calendar is off a day on purpose, to show that what I log today is actually meant to reflect what happened the day prior - no, date labels on notes are off too, which doesn't make sense.

Crashing. Downloaded this app a few days ago have been using it daily since and was excited about it. It's easy to use and effective but day 3 it's crashing and it won't open. I don't want to have to delete it and start over again. Defeats the purpose of the concept. Hopefully this bug is fixed!

A very basic app. The app works well for what it is designed to do. Pros: You can list multiple habits and designate specific days of week to do them It tracks consecutive days ok. You can pause a habit if you want. You can set reminders if needed. A very basic app to kick start a habit- not so good for long term if you are building to more workouts per week as your initial goal becomes routine. Cons: You can not set a habit to 3x or 5x a week. If you want to change days it is scheduled from one week to the next it will "alter" your previous score and count previous"day off" days as missed If you want to increase # of days active you are better off deleting the old habit and creating a new one - or your score alters. It doesn't do a great job of tracking day 1 when a task is created. You can't set a goal of 2x a day When setting an item with no "set" days it does not seem to count each check off as consecutive. It stays at 1. I am working on increasing mileage of a workout but am more concerned that I do the longer mileage consistently than that I adhere to a specific day of the week. The app fails for people with flexible schedules.

Gentle Reminder to stick with it. Don't break the chain... It is a calendar in which you set the goals and the days of the week you want to do them on... You can skip them if you must, but you have to restart the chain... Cool way to give you incentive to maintain something until it becomes a habit. Also it gives you a bubble counter on how many things you must do for the day... I'm loving this app. It is helping me "drink more water", "clean for at least 15 minutes", "walk for 2 miles on M-W-F", and "go to church"... So far I haven't broken the chain :)

Great app but it has some minor issues. This is a great app! It works really well for tracking habits. I've had a few minor issues where the app will crash right when I open it up and also to get notification updates for the day you need to open the app then it will refresh and show the notifications. Those are just minor issues though.

Easy!. Simple to use(:

Does what I need it too. I tried this app and Balanced. I decided to keep this one because I can visually see my chain. It's easy to log my habits and get reminders. I can choose to turn them off on the weekends etc. I use this app to remind myself to make journal entries, work with my son on certain subjects and to read my bible. I highly recommend.

Problem. I don't know if the problem is with iOS 8 or the app itself but the chain stops at 84 and no matter how many times I check the box after that it goes back to 84 again. Though the app is really great, this problem needs to be fixed or there is no use of it anymore.

Great app - try it!. There are many reminder & goal apps out there. This one is my favorite because it has a simple interface yet it still allows me to list many items. I highly recommend this app - give it a try !
