Nomo - Sobriety Clocks Comments & Reviews 2026

Much more accessible than AA apps. I understand the value of AA, but for me all the prayers and rituals and references to God just make me uncomfortable. This app is great because it provides all the useful tools of an AA app as well as "gameifying" the process of recovery and making it more tangible than other apps. Whenever I feel like I want a drink, I just open up my clock and watch the money and time I've saved increase minute by minute. I like sending screenshots of my progress to my family whenever I gain a badge or increase my savings. It allows you to customize your clocks for different vices from alcohol to smoking. I HIGHLY recommend.

A helpful little tool in anyone in recovery. I downloaded this the day after I decided to get sober and it's been a wonderful little part of my sobriety journey. Tracking days and dollars and time saved is a great way to track my progress and quantify some of the benefits of sobriety. The "refocus" tools are wonderful if you just need to get the rocks out of your head and don't need/don't have time to go to a meeting or phone a fellow person in recovery. I also recommend contributing your "encouragement." By sharing your experience, strength, and hope you can both help others AND take the time to acknowledge the good in how you're working your own program. There are a few bugs and eccentricities that I don't love about the app experience, but this isn't a professionally created app - it's one guy in recovery trying to help others and I know he's making improvements as he goes and it's not anything that gets in the way of the usefulness of the app. This IS NOT a substitute for meetings, professional counseling, rehab, or fellowship with others in recovery. But it IS a wonderful little tool to add to your tool kit and I highly recommend it!

Sobriety Clock. Thank you for making this useful app, it’s helped me with my sobriety a lot. I probably would’ve been living in a bottle still trying, clawing my way out, only to slip right back inside. When the days seem darkest and I feel as though it doesn’t matter...I stop and look at the clock. Seeing the chips, hours, and months truly puts everything in perspective. What I like about the app is the notification settings to alert you - YES YOU MADE ANOTHER DAY! - it encourages me to keep stomping down the path I’ve chosen. Continue on my sobriety journey. Thank you to the developers for making this, I wouldn’t be sober if it wasn’t for life choices and this app.

Simple & effective. I just needed a simple counter of my days sober. But the money-saved counter really helped my abstinence. It adds up fast! I actually found myself put off by the hours-saved counter because I felt like evenings not drinking went on forever in the first few weeks, so I calculated how many calories were in my nightly bottle of wine, half-block of cheese, and bowl of mixed nuts, and used the hours-saved counter to track calories saved. Mind blown! I saved over 35,000 calories--more than 10 pounds--in the first month! I'm happy to say this is now a 3rd-screen app on my phone, and after a couple resets (with encouragement!), I'll earn my 90-day token this afternoon!

PLEASE READ!!!!! TELLS YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!!!!!. So I just got this app and I love it. You add a clock on what you want to stop doing, you add the date and time and you get to know when you decided to stop! When you first get in, it tells you Parker’s (the creator) story, and that right there makes it feel comfortable. Every day you check in on your clock and if you relapse. You just restart! If you wanna feel heard and help others feel heard, you simply just look through the partners category and pick who you feel closest with! I will continuing to use this app and hope you will too!

Awesome app. I stumbled upon this because I was looking for is a sobriety counter different than the one I already have. This one is definitely unique! I love the focus games and exercises, the journal is super handy! And, the encouragement and support seems pretty solid. I've only had it for about a week, but I'm getting a lot of use out of it already and pretty consistently. I've already recommended it to a few people. It is also awesome that you can use this app for Myriad addictions and even anxiety, I believe! It truly is a grounding app. It's pretty user-friendly, the only downside is sometimes it's hard to navigate or toggle between each of the sections because there's no back or previous button… However, I know it's always being upgraded and I'm still getting used to it; overall, it's not a glitch or really even a big deal in the grand scheme of things. The point is this app could really work in providing solid support from anyone in recovery, curious about recovery, or dealing with A close companion in recovery… All of the touch of a button! Thank you for this rockin app!

To many years and not enough days.. I have enjoyed nearly 27 years in and struggling for recovery. How ever at 15 years I used. I was out for four nearly five years. I took the one day at a time for granted. And started drinking and using. With the calendar I can see how many days I have with two dates of recovery in twenty seven years it gives me a look at what I would be giving up today if I drink or use. This seven years has been more of a struggle than the first. I would not suggest going back out. With any amount of clean time. Count your days. Today is all we have.

Great multi resource app and beautiful concept. I happened to stumble upon this app looking for something to help challenge myself with my health goals and bad habits. After downloading and reading the intro for what inspired this creation and the creators life/motive behind it, I was really moved. This is a genuine regular guy with a wife and kids who was looking for tools to help with his sobriety and created a multipurpose app that fit multiple things he was looking for, for his own journey. This is a passion project from someone who is simply looking to give back to the community and to help other people who are struggling, or are like me and are looking for a little reminder and help in accountability for my bad habits. This app has counseling, a journal section, a community board to help others who are struggling as well, or celebrate others sobriety milestones and wins, which I find so beautiful. There are book recommendations based on what bad habits or additions you struggle with, SO many resources for those in need, and it’s free which makes it accessible to everyone. Not to mention the fact that this is a free app that he runs by himself and only asks for donations if you’re feeling compelled to help the purpose behind this, which I am more than happy to contribute to. I recently lost a family member to addiction and seeing stuff like this warms my heart and reminds me there are really good people out there trying to make a difference still and help uplift others and create community to support one another. It’s really beautiful and I’m happy to have stumbled upon this app. Thank you to the creator for this awesome passion project that is helping so many people and creating resources for those in need.

Favorite Sobriety Clock App. Get the app, take my word. You can trust me today, that wasn't always that way but I am trustworthy today 😊 I've had a couple of these apps over the years and this one is absolutely my favorite with all the different features and things to use it for besides the clock but the clock is why I originally got it. The other app i still have the clock doesn't work as good but has a lot of literature which I really do like having on my phone to use if I need on the go, still nothing like the books to flip through and hold but I use it as needed. So getting back to this app I'd love if there was some of the literature from different fellowships added. But really love the work that has been put into this app and truly appreciate all your efforts to be of service to the recovery community at large whatever each persons specific "poison" is.

Sometimes we need to see our progress. I have been using this app for 8 days now and it is really a game changer. I have every addiction known to man and I learn by seeing progress. This app has given me real-time progress tracking and I have been clean and healthy for the first time ever! Praise God! With my next paycheck, I will be donating to help the developer keep it going as well as to help support his cause. He has obviously put tremendous thought and passion into the level of detail of which is so useful. Stray strong ya’ll. Addiction is simply where we have placed our fleshly desires above our spiritual desires. I put God First and everything changed!

Useful tool. This app has been useful for tracking the number of days of sobriety with the clock feature. I also like that you can create clocks for anything, so I also have clocks for food addictions. The encouragement function is a great way to feel as if you're not in this alone, and the distraction feature has simple games to help you through a moment of weakness. What I've found to be lacking is the Accountability Partner function. I've done partner requests based on the app's suggestions and haven't gotten an approval from a potential partner. Perhaps the people that I sent a request to aren't active anymore, or maybe that function is not working. I emailed the developer about the partner function, as well as a suggestion for the app, and he did not respond. Apparently at one time he was very responsive to messages. Combine this with the fact that the app hasn't been updated since January 2017 and it makes one suspect that something has happened to him or he has abandoned the app. Nevertheless, I still find it a useful tool and I check my clocks daily as a reminder of the positive direction I am taking with my life.

2 weeks sober!. I love this app, including every last one of the features (money saved, calories, badges, etc). It feels like it was made out of a place of genuine compassion and care. Every other app for sobriety costs a lot, and this app is free and has every feature I need to motivate myself. I love looking at it every day or two just to see all of the little impacts that sobriety has made on my life, which eventually snowball into huge impacts. But most of all, I love the message and story behind why this app was created. It’s a great and motivating community. Tomorrow I hit two weeks sober (I haven’t gone more than 2 days in years, until I started this app two weeks ago on the day I decided to stop drinking). I never thought it was possible, let alone that sobriety would become a GOOD feeling. Highly recommend it. Also, to the rude reviews complaining about the ONE time it gives you the option to donate and never asks again— you guys can go pay $7.99 a week for an app that does the exact same thing, or shut ya yaps. You must seriously have no problems in your life if you take the time to complain about something as minescule as that. I enjoyed reading the story behind the app’s creation, and it made me appreciate it even more.

Thanks!. The notification system has helped me stay on track, during a tough day getting an alert saying how much time clean you have accumulated can be a nice reminder. I think in today's world with so many types of addictions and not all of them having a substantial support network it would be nice to have more one day at a time alerts/counter/chip after the first week on sobriety apps instead of jumping to two weeks as the next notification; part of the benefit of a tool like this is self accountability and I think some people still need daily reinforcement after a week or two. Thanks for the great app!

Tremendously Helpful!. This is a very helpful tool. To begin, the interface is very easy to set up and use with no extra frills and useless nonsense. Every button and tab is relevant to your recovery. The app offers a clock that counts the time of your addiction-free days (more then one habit can be tracked by adding timers), allowing the user to earn the next "chip" for successfully completing a given period (week, month, etc). I find this quite motivating, almost like a virtual "pat on the back". There is also a 'Journal' function (self-explanatory and very useful), an 'Encouragement' tab full of helpful quotes from users of the app primarily, and a 'Refocus' tab with several games and relaxation techniques to keep your mind and you hands busy during tough moments. My favorite function of the app, however, is the ability to create your own support group by searching for like-minded people that use the app as well. Once you create your profile and allow for sharing with others, you will be able to send requests to other users of the app and add them as your 'Accountability Partners'. I am sure there will come a time I will no longer need the "refocus" tab. The rest of Nomo will, however, never become obsolete. I couldn't be happier with this find, I'm excited to take it One Day At A Time!

Another lifeline. How I stumbled onto this app was a final cry of desperation. No explanation beyond that. You are reading this review, so you know exactly where I was the day I found this app. I’m at day 2251 without drinking, and in no way would I have managed this if I didn’t have all the lifelines I could have for any given situation. This one? This one is that final net, that constant keeper of your time that you spend successfully navigating your life without whatever it is you are trying to rise above. For me it is booze. Anyhow. Out of those 2251 days, if one of those days was saved by this app, it’d be worth having a million times over. For me, it’s been there well over a dozen times in critical moments, moments when my other safety nets were unavailable or just not cutting it. Anyhow, good luck with your battle, this is a good tool to have in the armory. Truth.

Good app😌 just some things that need to be sorted out. So I love the whole idea of the app. I like all the features it had. I also love what you are doing, I really want more people to start using this app! The problems that I ran into was that the Home Screen was very touching when it came to scrolling down. It was hard for me to find the organizer so I could put my addictions down I’m struggling with. I was kinda confused when it came to the menu. I feel like those are problems that a lot of people are having. I can’t be the only one. So I’ll give you 4 stars because this app does need improvement. Just out here giving you my honest input so you can make the app ever better for the future💎

Something to keep me positive!!. It has always been hard for me to stop drinking for more than a few days, I've never had any true friends to help me due to my work schedule, only drinking buddies. This app is my new friend whom I don't want to let down! It keeps encouraging me to get to that next day, and I'm actually ambitious to do so! With the help of this app I've been sober for the longest time since rehab 4 years ago. Seeing my progress by the hour, day, week, month.... keeps me on a positive track. There's no shame in resetting the clock as long as you DO keep trying! I now have money for real activities and new music to make me happy, not wasting every dime on wasting my life. This app is my favorite of the lot. It also goes hand in hand with the health app for iPhone because now I have the ambition to go hiking and see the beauty of the world :) 5/5 stars!!

Helpful and encouraging. Whenever I’m tempted to give into bad habits, I read my list of goals I keep in my pocket and check this app to see how far I’ve come and actually press the “reset” button to see that if I give in, it’s been “this long,” and my sobriety would end today. I do slip up, but this is a great tool for resisting my bad habits. Personally opiates, a few other drugs, and I had the idea to use it to track eating habits like having fast food and binge eating too... I learned about this app on Reddit and it’s been great. Thank you to the creator(s) and people that made this a reality. Also the resources the app provides are pretty decent. 5/5 app

All-Around Good Quality. So I was searching for a good recovery app, and honestly all I had in mind was something to count my time. Stumbled upon this app and decided to download and I’m actually very surprised with all of the features it includes, and found myself using the journal feature and exploring the other features. Despite its many features distinguishing NoMo as the “all-in-one” recovery app, the application from a UI standpoint is very user friendly, and the application design is pretty clean and not difficult to navigate at all. If you’re looking for an app to help you through recovery, this is definitely the app to have. I’m very glad I found this.

Good but complicated. I’ve been using the app for two years and it is my go-to sobriety counter. I appreciate the ability to share. I like the new counter style, though wish I could save the counters alternate displays (show a counter permanently as years instead of days for instance). The one thing holding me back from five stars is the complexity in resetting the counters. It was always cumbersome to me, which discouraged me from resetting it, and now it’s worse. I now effectively have to set the day for reset twice instead of once and I don’t know why. Please add type entries for resets, not just drop downs, and simplify the reset process, removing the requirement to enter both a relapse and a sobriety date and time.

EXCELLENT. i just wanna say a big thank you for this app, specifically the ability to include so many clocks without having to pay a subscription. i love being able to keep track of my friends’ sobriety dates in addition to my own, and this app makes it so easy to see who needs a congrats on a milestone on any given day. one thing that would be nice to have in a future update: not having a minimum number of characters for the name of each clock. turns out i have several friends who have names that are less than 4 letters.

A great self-love tool. This app truly helps me feel great about myself. I don’t open it for long periods of time and then once in a while I will just open it and look through it and put it all into perspective because I will have 4 years completely sober this April 1, 2020 and in this time I have actually gotten my license to be an addictions counselor in the state of New York and my life had done a complete 180. This app allows me to track some of the things I have done in this time and money I have saved. It helps me realize that I am doing great in times of frustration or during times of neglect. I will get complacent now and then and then I will start to work on self-love stuff again and read more and eat better and this app really helps me realize that I have done something wonderful and the proof is right in front of me... I am living proof that addicts CAN & DO recover.

Helpful even if you're not an alcoholic. I got this because I've been in a relationship with an active alcoholic who has been talking about starting recovery. Whatever he may choose, this app has turned out to be surprisingly helpful as I've started my own recovery from the affects of living around alcoholism! The clocks alone have been a great tool and a wonderful way to mark those emotional turning points when you know there's no going back to the way things used to be anymore. And the refocusing tools are a quick and easy way to get me to a clear, meditative state of mind. It fills the gaps around my meetings and daily readings, and I just shared my feelings of fear, shame, joy and appreciation and healing with the community through the encouragements section and feel a weight off my shoulders. I don't know if I'm ever going to bother with connecting with any accountability partners on there, but it still helps me feel that I'm not alone. Thanks!

Great concept! Terrible performance…. I love sobriety counters first and foremost. It’s a great concept to set a date and time and then track the hours and money you have saved in your sobriety from your vice(s). This app has a lot of great features for someone wanting a sense of accomplishment for their sobriety. However, the app performance is often like watching paint dry, at least for me. I see a lot of great reviews for this app and my only thought is perhaps people are overlooking the awful performance because of the concept. I get that. But I mean a lot of the times when I open the app I get a blank screen. It can take 6 or so seconds to load the clock. Basically, everything feels extremely sluggish. I hope this is something the developers recognize. If they fix that up I would rate the app higher. I am tempted to find another app to track my sobriety but I will keep this one around for now, as it seems to be one of the more popular ones. With that said, if the performance isn’t sped up at least a small amount, I will definitely be looking for another app.

It is a tool. It is a tool, don't expect this to make recovery with whatever you're going through a walk in the park, you still will be the one putting in the work, you still have to make the daily choice to DO or DON'T do what you have to return to a peaceful and graceful state, which is your natural birth rite. It is still your burden, this is a tool and it's not going to make it easy but it will make it EASIER. I gave 5 stars because it does what it's supposed to do and is laid out pretty well. NOTE TO THE DEVELOPER, since you asked on your email to recommend suggestions for positive change to the app, might I recommend making a drag and drop function on your timers so that you can organize them once you've created them, this might help some more OCD people. *Cough cough*

Inclusive Help. Nice Update!. Really lovely app. The strongest people in the world use this app, or that's how I feel when I see people reaching their sobriety milestones, be it 24hrs or many years. Some of the resources are helpful, some are just the same "try harder!" thing you get on a brochure from the doctor's office which is something I was hoping to avoid by using this app. But I am glad for what an authentic person wanting to help other people can do. I got a notification in the app to write a review, and I had one major thing to say, but you already fixed it! Thank you so much for adding in restrictive eating as a demon to stomp with a clock. It's just as destructive as binge eating and purging and just as unhealthy as junk food. It made me feel bad to see eating treated as an addictive behavior to overcome but not starving. Now that little thought has been banished! I am starting a restrictive eating clock right now. Thank you SO MUCH for listening to the community and for creating the community in the first place.

Excels on every level!. Beautifully designed Intuitive and fun user experience High appeal to the recovering addict Well organized Nomo is such a pleasure to use. I don’t know the developer personally, but I’m a fan of great design. It has sobriety clocks, as many as you want for whatever you’re quitting. It tracks your money, time and calorie savings. During cravings, it has Refocus activities to help you get through. It has had its occasional bugs, but no deal breakers and they’re eventually fixed. Being part of a sober community is essential in recovery. When you can’t be, this app has everything you need. Please buy Parker a few coffees and a dozen donuts. He’s doing a huge service with his talents. Service is the key to recovery, people! 🙂

Just do it! Don’t let your dreams be dreams!!!. Super cool app. Everything is so optimistic and encouraging. I love everything about it; the simple yet intuitive design, the positive feedback and notifications, the impression that the developer understands the struggle of addiction too really helps. This app lets you know you aren’t alone in this world with these struggles and that you can overcome this and that you can find the power to be the best person you want to be; even when addiction tries its hardest to tell you otherwise. Addiction is a disease that I feel is often looked down upon, and this app helps you feel good about yourself, and feel pride in oneself in spite of addiction, especially when it can seem like everyone around you judges and makes bad assumptions of ones character because of addiction and brain chemistry. 10/5 stars

An excellent tool for tracking sobriety!. Have been using this app since I got out of rehab and I absolutely love it. The ability to have multiple clocks, the chip notifications, & resources are excellent and help keep you motivated on the days you may not be able to make meetings. Have not had the need to use the SOS feature but the fact that Parker included such an important life line shows true passion for helping others in their recovery. Would absolutely recommend to others. Even though other apps offer the ability to locate AA/NA meetings it might be cool to integrate that into the app in the future to avoid having 5 different apps for the same general things but I can see how it might not be necessary. Also very cool to see the money I have saved. Keep up the good work!

Best Recovery Time app for free on iPhone. This is a really good clean time app. The best one I could get for free on my iPhone. I tried all the others but this one is by far the best. It is so simple and easy to use. It's awesome that it sends you notifications for special days in your recovery. The only thing I do not like since the upgrade on it is how it changed a little bit. I love the chips but I do not like that it goes by months at first. It messes up the days. Plus it also does more chips than it should be. It should go 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, 18 months, 2 years, 3 years and so on. It messes up the right day since it gives a 1 month chip which is not on your 30th day half the time. And it gives chips every month. It gets confusing . But overall it is an amazing app. Also wish there was a way to choose both drugs and alcohol instead of either or for those who are in recovery for both .

Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!. This app is amazing. There is simply no other way to put it. My favorite part is that it’s free I looked for a long time and couldn’t find any free apps like this one. I was about to give up and then I found this. It’s everything I wanted to just kinda keep track of life and what I’ve done in the years. My only criticism is that it is a little hard to figure out how to work the app. There is no tutorial or anything to learn what all the different buttons and tabs do. However you can delete most if not all of what you post. Therefore with a little trial and error it’s manageable. Great app.

The Quiet Accountability I Needed. This app has really helped me, and my sober circle, keep ourselves on track. It’s a communal event to check in on the app, and check in with each other, especially in a moment of need. I highly recommend it for someone who’s aware they have a worrisome relationship with something that’s holding them back from being true to themselves. It’s not just for alcohol either! Setting a clock to keep a behavior in check, to remind you to practice a good habit, and to show you time and time again just how much progress you’ve made REALLY helps inspire further growth and change.

A great tool for every vital moment in one's life!. I not only use this app to keep track of my sobriety, I've used it for several other important factors in my life, such as how long I've been Vegan, deaths of loved ones / grief management, etc. It is a great, simple way to track progress and works fantastically as a natural inspiration too in that if ever one is struggling staying clean or sober, just looking at the clock and seeing how long you have worked your bum off to be sober is enough of a boost to make sure you stay on course. No one wants to hit that reset button! Wonderful app made by a great person who actually knows this life!

Incredible!!. This app is so thoughtful and simple. I was looking for an app I could use that acted like a calendar I used to have where I would mark an ‘X’ on the day that I completed all my goals. Seeing all the ‘X’s on my calendar for a whole month was so motivating that it kept me going. This now replaces that and I get to look at it multiple times a day whenever I am feeling the need to ‘cheat’ myself. I have circles for multiple things beyond alcohol and I love that this app encourages you to do so! I use it for drinking, emotional eating, daily movement and meditation. Being a visual learner and motivated by accomplishing my goals, this simple layout of all the circles on one page is VERY aesthetically pleasing. Also, shoutout to the creator of this app. From the moment I opened the app, to the email and personal story video I received, it felt like I was connecting to a community rather than a product. Your ‘Why’ behind this service is so clear and authentic. Kudos to you and thank you for creating this for all of us to benefit from!! xx

Love this App!. "The therapeutic value of one addict helping another is without parallel". NA Basic Text NOMO was developed by recovering people for recovering people which is apparent in its elegant approach to tracking progress in recovery for any addictive behavior with which someone is struggling. It works for newcomers and old timers alike and as of recently goes up to 50 years! I know this because I reached 29 years of recovery from alcoholism. I was having trouble opening that particular clock (I have four😉), I put in a help ticket and IMMEDIATELY got a response from Parker that they were in the process of increasing the day count limit from 28 years to 50. Yay! And, when I needed to reset my day count in my 12-step food program, I got an encouraging message and the App tracks my resets. Day counts are important, but honesty always trumps it. I love the positive reinforcement and accountability that this App provides. It has become another tool to help me stay on the path.

Has issues. This app is a good platform to use to help keep you accountable but the technical issues, such as extreme lag and sometimes not giving options to return back to main menu, so it forces you to kill the app and reopen it, are major issues. I try to open options from the main menu like “notifications” and “messages” and the screen will not do anything. I received a random notification this morning saying that I received a payment (no idea why) and when i tried to open the app from that notification it didn’t work. I’m trying to check my notifications part of the app to see if this app took money from me or if I somehow got money from it? Not sure what is happening but the tech issues from the app are making it impossible to see what happened.

It's cool. I like that I can set clocks for multiple 12 step programs like Nicotine Anonymous & CMA. I also like that it counts the number of chips earned and the potential to interact w/ other addicts. There's a couple areas where I find difficult to use. I've had to reset my time in the latter a couple times and I have to choose an exact time which is fine but scrolling through the time options takes awhile. I also wish that the chips earned can be reset back to 1 if I have to set my time again. I guess the solution is to not relapse!! I recommend it to anyone counting days because it's exciting to check in each day to see the days increase!

Perfect for motivation. If you’re sick and tired of being tired and sick like me. This is the app for you. Instead of me trying seeing how much money I spent the next day after a night of drunkenness. No more morning trying to remember what I bought or how much I drank. No more dreading to check my bank account to see the financial damage. I now am able to see how much money I have saved versus spent. I am also amazed how much I spent on bars drinking. There are other features that helps you get your act together. This app is very motivational for me. It’s a must have if you are done with abusing alcohol, smoking or drugs.

Nomo rocks and so does Parker!. I've had setbacks in my journey but Nomo is gentle about those and doesn't take away the points I earned in the past before I messed up. I'm grateful for an app that allows me to see certain clocks that are building so much time, capital.. and peace. While there are two others I'm struggling with. I'm inspired by Parker's leadership and service to give us all Nomo-free of charge. This is a company I'd like to invest in once my life settles and I can get stabilized- away from my addictions. Thank you, Parker, for helping me overcome my problems. God bless you! Readers considering this app- go on and download it; start your change now!

It’s helpful. I’ve been using for a few weeks now and it’s nice to have a visual representation of your progress. It makes it enjoyable to help fight for sobriety because you don’t want to have to reset your clock and start back at zero. Of course you can cheat it but it makes you practice accountability for yourself by seeing that you have in and had to reset the clock. This gives you an opportunity to sit and self reflect about what lead you to give in and journal about it giving you an outline of your most common triggers. I’m by no means saying that this is the key to sobriety but for me it is a helpful tool as long as you stay true to yourself. I gave it 4 starts because the notifications don’t seem to be working for me. I don’t know if its something on my end or theirs. If it’s on my end please reach out for troubleshooting tips.

Some suggestions!. This is by far the best self-help app I’ve ever gotten, it has a journal, ways to calm down, support from others in similar situations, and the customization allows you to track everything from self love to lying to alcohol. You can tell how much work and care the creator put into this, and it shows. Some suggestions I would LOVE if you added is a way to track triggers for separate things, and a place to write down how to cope with said triggers. I would also love if you enabled emojis in the journal section, either that or a mood tracker. Please consider these at your leisure! It’s fine if you decide not to do these at all, they’re merely suggestions.

I Just Love This App. I really appreciate the community attached to this app. The nice thing is you can be involved as much or as little as you want. You can just use the sobriety clock and completely disregard the social media aspect, if that's where you're at. If you want to chat with people - or even just read their community board of supportive / inspirational posts - it's really easy and intuitive to do so. The app is definitely a labor of love for the programmer - very much a "hand made" interface - so it can be a little buggy at times. But its constantly improving, and is better than it was even 6 months ago.

Good for keeping track of chip dates. This is a great tool for what it is originally intended - keep track of sobriety milestones. For this, this app is a great help. I check in with my chips each day and remind myself I don't want to go back. Other features are well intended but better found elsewhere. Potential accountability partners rarely respond and the few that do never once responded to check in or communication. Devotional tend to be insipid bromides - you can do it today! Rarely does it take one back to actual 12-step principles. Journal- do I need yet another word processor or notebook when google docs do so much better? There is reasons we go to meetings, have sponsors who we meet with and talk on the phone and read classic books such as "as bill sees it". For these items an app may be cool but really unnecessary as much as I tried to like these features. As a chip tracker it is great - the only negative is the app tries to be too much (as we addicted tend to do). So use it for what it is good for and get your accountability, encouragement, and inventory through proven channels. UPDATE: All was true until developer took a simple easy to use application and rewrote it. Now it is fancy, more cumbersome to use, very slow and tedious, and buggy. Reducing stars. UPDATE 2019. Ignore the above update. Developer quickly responded at the time and app has both traditional and new mode and is fine to use.

Amazing, useful app that doesn’t make you pay for help. First of all, I never review apps. Sorry app makers! I’ll work on that. Maybe I’ll put it a nomo clock of some kind. I plan on donating to the Nomo cause (as noted in the banner down low) — I love that there are no ads. The app is simply there to help you and you can track so many things in a myriad of ways. Even if you aren’t an alcoholic, it’s a great app just to track your days between drinks. Maybe you’ve never noticed that you can’t go more than two days without a drink, and it triggers you to try for longer. We are all addicted to something and this helps give you motivation to stop or cut back. Nothing eggs me on more than a streak! Thanks for making such a beautiful app and thanks for helping my sobriety (among other things).

A refreshing sobriety tracking app. I haven't been using nomo for a long time but I already see that it's a valuable tool in my arsenal. Once you create your profile, you can choose your addiction. The options go beyond alcohol or drugs or cigarettes. Self-harm, gambling, co-dependency, and video games are just few of the other categories. There's an optional "time/money saved" clock as well that allows you to have a visual on your progress. Keep your notifications on so you can keep track of your chips. There are a few activities within the app to distract you when you need it. The app also has a feature to help you find an accountability partner. The creator of the app sincerely wants the users to succeed and that is very evident.

Most helpful app I’ve tried. So far I’ve had this app for a little over a week to try to recover from an addiction in my life and while I haven’t had it long, I already like this app. It’s not easy trying to break something that’s become a habit or a crutch, but when I’ve thought about backsliding this week I was able to go in this app and “check in”. just that feature alone feels like accountability that I definitely need. I’ve also appreciated that it gives me a clock that keeps track of my progress on the app. I’ve got a long way to go, but even little things like an app on your phone can make a big difference. Definitely recommend!

Love the ability to chat and connect with others. The most useful tool with the app is that it offers the ability to reach out to others that are dealing with similar issues. It’s private as well as you don’t have to disclose your name or contact info as you can chat though the app. Not everyone I messaged got back to me but I met a really wonderful woman who has really helped provide some really great resources and support. The only issue I have is that the chat feature doesn’t always work properly. I think you need a solid WiFi connect and not just use your data. The encouragement section and the little games to help refocus you are great as well! Thank you so much for this Parker!

Amazing!!. I literally LOVE the amount of thought you put into developing this app, Parker. I was just swiping though after setting up my clock and saw the features of "money saved" and "calories" and my jaw dropped. Being able to take into account other positive factors along with just being sober is awesome, as well as having different clocks available (I hope to quit nicotine soon too so having an entirely different clock and start date option is so convienent). So many other sobriety trackers don't have this depth, and only someone going through recovery would think of these things. Thank you for this app, and I'm so excited to keep track of my journey here.

Fantastic App!. This app is really great. I used it when I quit drinking alcohol, when I had cancer surgery, and I use it to track the longevity of any life event such as how many days, hours, seconds, etc. that I have been alive. I’ve recently used it to track when I started intermittent fasting to visually see how long it’s been since I started. Parker, the app’s developer, is very responsive and provides fixes for when something stops working, which happens infrequently at best. This is a wonderful app with wonderful support. You can’t ask much more than that!

Powerful little tool during hard times in our lives. The struggle of sobriety or generating more healthy behaviors is hard enough on its own. However the small little tools like finding healthy habits to replace old ones, seeing the reward of the sobriety counter going up, and feeling reassured that not only are you making progress, but you are not alone in the journey of trying to make better decisions in your life is very important. I appreciate the NOMO App being one of those small little tools to remind me that I am making progress, and helping to hold me accountable during moments of self doubt.

Genuinely helpful!. Nomo has been a game-changer for staying accountable and tracking my progress. The check-ins, milestones, and supportive tools make it easy to stay on track each day. Simple, motivating, and genuinely helpful — highly recommended.

Super simple design & easy to use 👍. Super simple design & easy to use 👍

Very useful tool. It’s not about graphic design folks. This app does what it promises and the rest is up to you!

Needs an account. Wanted to try this app but instead of just working when you open it, it expects you to create an online account. Not sure why a bunch of timers requires any form of account but that’s ok, I’ll try a different app.

Really Grear App!. Overall... Extremely pleased. I'd make a few small changes but a very good app.

Brilliant. Everything about this app is fantastic,it’s so very well thought out, it’s fun to use, fantastic info , the dashboard has all the right stats ! Outstanding a fantastic app in my view the best for this entire quit market

Going well. It’s a good app, good to track how long I’ve got threw without harming, makes me remember I’m worth something

Great app!!. This is such an amazing and definitely recommend it to everyone who needs it, I have a question tho how do you update your time?

Great App!. I’ve used other sobriety counters before and none have been this user friendly, or encouraging. Thank you so much!

Fantastic support. Thank you for this gift to the recovery community. This has helped track my progress and keep committed. A fantastic and compassionate app.

Recommend!. Easy to use and simple. Everything I need.

Great App!!!. Well done Parker on putting together a really great app. The chips are really cute and a great motivator to keep going each day. I’m really enjoying the journal function. I’ve never been a journaler or diary writer, but I love being prompted each day to write an entry as it really makes me stop and think about how I’m feeling or what’s going on in my head that day. Not really sure what the check in function is for. But really loving the app, great work!

Wonderful Idea. Very interesting and well executed idea and app. Sure there are a few oddities however for a free (donation) app it's wonderful :)

Great app!. This a great app to track your progress when quitting. I have tried others but this is simple and user friendly. Highly recommend to keep you motivated.

Motivation on app (lame joke I know!). I've tried a couple of sobriety apps and this is the most straightforward and really motivating. Love the chips and lack of judgement when I've had to reset - it helps me just keep going.

Great way of staying on track. Helps you visualise where you are at with your sobriety. A great tool to add in for feel good factor!

Such a useful app for so many things. I find this app so useful in keeping track of when my hip was operated on, how long I have given up smoking and to encourage a friend that has now been sober for over a year. She finds strength in knowing how long and doesn't want to go back to that place again. To the maker of this program, I thank you and sorry I can't send you a few dollars but things are very very tight this way. Thanks.

Excellent!. Just starting but tons of great features!

Well thought thru. Impressed

Simple and effective. Really enjoying this app. The mindful and distraction exercises are good and different to the usual ones. It’s clean simple and easy to navigate. Thank you.

So easy to use. I have been using the app for a week and am loving it! Easy to use & very motivating to achieve my goals.

Thanks. I'm over 2 years clean and I still love checking my sobriety clock. It gives me a thrill to see the days turning to years. I recommend this app to everyone

Amazing. Literally everything u need for free

Love it!. This app is so so good. And completely different from any other. Buy that man a coffee!!

The Most amazing ( and free ) Self Help/ Sobriety tracker app you will ever find on the App Store.. All I can say is WOW ! What an incredible app. When you actually read the story behind the creation of this app you can’t help but be brought to tears. It is one man who struggled with addiction himself who created this app through trial and error to bring this incredible sobriety tracker app to life. Not only can you create “clocks” to track different types of sobrieties but you can also meet other people through the app and their stories, there are helpful self help resources, mini games to play when you feel stressed or like you are about to relapse and the widgets themselves are great because it’s a visible way to see your progress outside of the app while still being discreet. To top it all off this app is TOTALLY free. No hidden costs, no invasive ads, no subscriptions. The creator does take donations if people would like to say thank you. God bless you sir for creating this incredible app ! It has helped me turn my life around for the better ! ❤️

Notification not working. I love this app but it continues to tell me that I need to turn notifications on to be notified of accountability partners and Nomo is not listed under my notifications in settings at all so I can’t turn it on. I like other aspects, like the chip trackers, but would like to connect with others as well. Please fix

Easy to use. So simple yet so effective. A couple of clicks and your clocks are all set to go. A great reminder of my progress and achievements.

A beautiful support. This app is like a beautiful kind support person, not judging, just encouraging. It has been helping me for 3 years now. I have 3 clocks and they are all precious to me.

Instrumental in my recovery. A simple yet affective tool to manage tackling addiction. The community aspect connecting with others in the same boat was/continues to be, a huge asset & instrumental in my recovery.

Awesome app :). This app is really helped me stay on track. It’s so easy to use & quick to check

Unfinished work. Going well but still a work in progress

Disappointing. Sometimes it opens, sometimes it doesn’t. So basically this app is useless 50% of the time. Considering all I want this app for is counting days, it is very disappointing that it won’t even open....

Brilliant motivation. What a great app! Provides the motivation I needed to stay stopped... shows you how much money and time you have saved since you made the decision to do whatever it was that was holding you back. Highly recommended!

Great app. Great app so helpful to keep the track of my addiction and to get distracted when needed Thx

Reg. Excellent really helped me out of a difficult spot and I’m still using it years later

Great App. Looked at lots of Sobriety apps and this is the one that stuck out. If you get a chance would love a calendar view as well.

New Beginning. Big thank you to Parker for creating such an amazing community I feel like I have control and support over my drinking habits, something that I’ve been struggling with for years Thank you

No words. So very thankful. There are no words to describe how thankful I am to find this app. Although I am only on day 8, this has been my “go to” for strength and courage to stay sober. I only wish that it could be set to time zones as I am in Australia and, selfishly, am wishing I could see that I was on (now) day 8 and not day 7 as reflected. As my sobriety continues I think this will be less of an issue. Right now I do not have the financial resources to contribute (alcoholism will do that) but as soon as I am more stable, I surely will. Would love a buddy to help me through also, but hope that will happen in time.

Easy to use. So far so good! helping you be aware of where you are at and see how far you've come is really awesome way to take action and gain control over your addictions resulting in a better healthier lifestyle!

A key part of my journey. Thanks so much to the creator. Just the act of having a tool to check in with. A simple app on my home screen to interact with. This has helped me immensely I am coming up on 2 years now! I won’t say I owe it all to Nomo. Not even close. BUT it helped, and made especially the early days far more manageable.

Great app. So motivating seeing the days etc since last drink, makes me more determined to not have any at all because it's so satisfying seeing the number go up and up. Fantastic app.

Nice and simple. Easy to use reminds me how far ive come

A brilliant and well meaning app. Beautiful design, easy to use, great array of tools and a lovely system for quitting addictive behaviours. This app demonstrates a real world understanding of what it’s like beating addiction. Thank you to the creators!

Simplicity plus. Takes seconds to check.

Loving this!. Thanks Parker for creating this app - I’m loving the chips and notifications when I’ve reached a new milestone as these are something I can go back and look at when I’m having a moment. I also really love the personal touches; having a partner really helps to keep me accountable and your communications remind and inspire me to keep my journey going!

Best day counter app. Easily the best day counter I’ve come across. Offers so much more, too. Thank you for your wonderful service!

Sober. It’s only early days but I have found this app to very helpful for inspiring me to keep pushing through each day with sobriety! Also found a great book to listen to via your app which has helped me immensely. I would love to see daily inspirational affirmations quotes or words of encouragement built into the app as this helps me immensely too. Great app! Thank you

Carefree counting!. App is incredibly simple. Takes the stress out of marking your days of abstinence.

Extremely helpful tool in recovery. It’s so easy to see how long I’ve been improving for, how much I’ve saved, and to solidify that I’m going well. I can’t tell you how many times seeing my progress has prevented a relapse. On the note of the missing star - I find the app slow and glitchy at times. Occasionally it won’t load unless I exit like three times and reload the whole app. Apart from that I would recommend and have recommended NoMo to several friends also struggling with addictions.

Sobriety. Has everything I need to keep track of my drug use

This has helped in many ways.. I was struggling to get sober, I got this app and this has help me.

Helps me keep track of my progress. I don’t spend a lot of time on the app besides checking every now and then to see my progress and reset if need be

Great simple app without any references to specific programs.. Wonderful way of tracking multiple sobriety types separately and is compatible with any path to recovery. Thanks!

Excellent App. Nomo has been instrumental in tracking the progress I’ve made in my addiction. It really helps to see the parameters of your sobriety in terms of dollars/hours/calories saved.

A great tool. If you're considering moderating your drinking I strongly suggest this app. It's another tool in the toolbox. 9 months sober and counting

Good app. I love the app, and the accountability. I wish there was a way to delete clocks after they were made though. That would be great.

Great app!. I really like this app. Easy to navigate with a lot of different features. The re-focus and encouragement features are a nice touch. You can tell the developer has put a lot of effort into making a well-rounded app (with no distracting ads in the way!) I would like to see a bit more of a community feature though. The accountability friend is a nice idea, but would love to have a community forum type of platform integrated somehow.

Excellent. What a wonderful free app that will help you stay on track with your goals

Always there. This is an important app, and has helped me through a lot of rough periods in life. And when it says it’s free, it really is free, not even any ads. If you can afford to give you should give as much as you can! If you can’t, Then good luck all the same. This app has saved me thousands of dollars over the years .

Very good app. Very good and very useful app. No ads and is truly built to help you overcome addictions. 100% recommend.

Thank you. Really enjoy the app, I feel like it’s an amazing step towards helping motivate yourself towards your goals. Has fun features and cute reminders. Definitely suggest downloading or even suggesting it to a friend or family member.

Nomo is awesome. This app is fantastic. I missed apps with no subscriptions made as a labour of love. I felt disgusted by the sobriety clock apps that were trying so shove their monetization schemes in my face. My only gripe, I’m missing the old social feature with public comments and likes. It felt far better to be able to see the support of the community and see that people care in a public forum. I’m actually scared of posting now because of the private messaging function, I felt more comfortable before. Regardless, thank you for developing this app, It’s helped me through a lot.

Awesome App!. This app has kept me on course. The additional calculations are wild to see during progress. I’ve recommended this app to anyone who has tried to quit anything.

Goood app. Enjoy using it, glad its not bombarded with ads. Would be cool if u guys made it so the clocks could act as a widget!

Very great and easy. This helped me in so many ways. It’s very easy and it helps keep me on track. The clocks are my favorite feature and they are directly accessible.

Helpful. Thank you for offering this app for free. I will gladly donate when I am able!

Amazing!!!. I love everything about this app!!! I only use part of it and am so satisfied! Thank you!

great app!. love this

so wonderful. helpful, easy to use, and just an overall amazing app.

Helpful. Honestly a great free app to stay sober! The app has been made by someone who truly cares about other’s wellbeing!

Best app ever. God bless you sir, thank you for making this app

10/10. This app is genuinely so amazing and provides so many resources. It’s got so much diversity and options for everyone. Very accessible. It also allows you to share and gain perspective on others and your own experience. Perfect app.

Great app. Shows clicks and spending in real time

Updated and deleted my counts - not cool. Very disappointed in this app. I did an update and now it wont open & have no access to my counts. Nomo, you had one job!

Keeps crashing.. (K, I get I’m using an old phone, but it’s a burner and my parents don’t know about it😭) Now, I download this app on my iPhone6 because it didn’t need recent iOS updates. It keeps crashing every time I try to open the app. It’s frustrating and I just wanna stop my cutting😭

Great app. Often in the recovery world you hear “one day at a time”. People think it’s great when they ask me “How long have you been sober for?” and I answer them in exact days! So appropriate. Lots of services and support on the app. Very important. Great job Parker!

Amazing. I love this app it’s the best one I found thus far and the only one I continue to use. Very well done

Basic. Nice idea but there’s no real interaction between users. Many have their profiles locked. Also, when the app is first opened there is a white flash which is very startling especially for someone with light sensitivity

Aide à suivre l’évolution parfaitement. Très bien fait et pratique.

Can’t start over. I was off liquor for 2 weeks. And my sister got engaged and I felt i should part take. This app would not allow me to restart or delete the term.

Awesome. What a great app for those in recovery. Many thanks to Parker for developing and monitoring. Recommend it to all my friends in recovery

Clock function is great. There are many functions in this app. I only use the clock. It is great!

rlly buggy rn :(. it’s not working for me rn but i love it :(

This is my go-to for tracking !. Absolutely essential . Thanks so much to the creator of this app. Bravo!!

Such a great tool. Great encouragement tool. I can see every day how much i am saving, how much better i am becoming

Fantastic app!. Downloaded this app to keep track of my days for Dry January, but will definitely keep it for future use! User-friendly, well-organized, and much appreciated😊

Great tool to track your goals. Very helpful

So glitchy. Nothing ever loads, the app is so glitchy

Great App. Love this app! It’s free, it’s simple, it’s useful.. it’s straightforward with no hurdles to jump exactly what I was looking for! It’s an example for all the other apps out there!

Download Nomo ASAP. I am so grateful that I got this app.

Simple and straightforward. Helped me quit smoking nicotine this year!

Awesome. Great app. Been using it for almost 11 years!!

NOMO stealing the info that you’ve copy onto your clipboard. Huge privacy concern. Do not use.

🙏🏻🫶🏻💪🏻. Simple. Straightforward. Run by “just a guy”. Soooo good. Please don’t ever stop.

Developer fail. I went to sign up but never received a verification email, and since there’s no option to send it again, I just couldn’t use the app.

SECURITY ISSUE. Every time I open the app it says “pasted from notes” when I pasted nothing. This is a security issue. Also the app is slow and buggy.

Great job with this project. Is amazing!

Adore.. I absolutely love this app and how personal it feels. The creator did an amazing job

scam. you need to pay and they wait till u created your account and are ready to use it. purely a lame scam

Helped Me A Lot!. I was once so dependent on substance that I truly believed I would never be able to give it up. This app is truly a blessing! One day I decided that I couldn’t do it anymore and I downloaded it and here I am 6 months in and I’m never looking back! This app has helped me with not only tracking (day, minutes, seconds, hours, $ spent) but has helped with accountability! I have significant mental health issues and substance was always my way of coping. This is cliche but coming from someone who was an active participant in substance daily for over 10 years, if I can do it, anyone can do it! Stay strong friends! One day at a time!

It Works. My husband and I enjoy wine with our dinners. Lately it had continued way past dinner. Everyday we would decide to drink less and then drink the same amount every night. I read books about other people’s struggles, tips on what to do. Nothing worked. The app worked the first day for us. We only drink one glass of wine with dinner only. We are on week three and had one slip up dining out. But we got back on it the next day. What I especially like is it shows the amount if money saved everyday. That is a huge motivator for me. I think the app offers something for everyone.

Daylio is Now my Daily Habit. I am really thankful that my doctor recommended Daylio daily emotion app to track the symptoms of my mood disorder and just record how I am doing in general. I am a recovering alcoholic as well as a person who wrestled with Bi-polar II disorder. The app has helped me get into the habit of writing about my feelings and checking in with myself daily to keep track of gape I am really doing, no smoke and mirrors, so to speak. I highly recommend it to anyone who is considering a journaling or daily emotion tracking app. It’s working great for me!

Simple and effective. I’ve tried to quit my bad habits before and wouldn’t last. This app is great and inspirational. Every time I’m feeling down or tempted to relapse, I go and check the wall where members share their stories, struggles and achievements. Overcoming dependency isn’t easy but this app, as simple as it is, has helped me stay on track. The ability to find accountability partners is also a sweet spot. The fact that this app is fully free and run on donations is a testament to the developer’s commitment to help others overcome addiction the way he did. Thank you.

Great App. Thank you for the extra accountability I need daily! It is so selfless of you to provide people with this information credible app. I even purchased the widgets, to show my gratitude a bit, for creating this…I wish I had more to give! Don’t ever think your work here was for nothing because it truly is that little extra step I need in my daily routine, the one that I didn’t know I needed, but now I would certainly feel lost without. Thank you, again!

Everything I could ask for.... I appreciate the wide array of different options for those looking to find control where we have felt we’ve had none. Watching the days pass and being able to check in whenever we need to not just once is calming for me. I love the refocus games and the opportunity to get counseling if I need it. The journal option is fantastic too! And being able to have more than one clock is helpful as well. Thank you so much for creating this not just for those who struggle with substances but food, gambling, shopping, codependency and more!

Love the app.. It's helped me quit after smoking for ten years, tried many times alone and I never could do it. The clock and the chips give me an extra incentive, yeah they don't actually do anything but it's something to work towards as apposed to looking at each day the same way. Now I wake up and I get excited to see new chips, gives me the motivation to keep at it. I just want to give a huge Thanks to the developer, who works on this to help all of us struggling with addictions and not for the money.

Terrible update. I can’t recommend it.. TL;DR When the most helpful reviews are five and six years old, you know the app isn’t satisfying users anymore. ███ After using the new update for a few months, I can now say with confidence that I dislike the app very much. In fact, I feel trapped using it since I’ve been such a long time user (since v1) with old sobriety clocks. It looks clean, but it’s a kludge to use. You took some steps forward in stability, but the part I use—sobriety clocks—has an obtuse display UI and is needlessly complicated to reset. ███ My two largest gripes are that I can’t see past sobriety data as I used to be able to do prior to the update. Also, when resetting a clock, I can no longer use the same time for stumbling and recommitting as I could before. If I chose the same time, the app goes through the process of resetting the clock, but then doesn’t actually reset the clock. This is clearly a bug, but a bug that has been in place for months. ███ I want to love this app because I rely on it so much, and I’ve paid for the app in the past, but it’s clear you have different goals in mind for the app that don’t serve my needs. I’ll be looking for a replacement. ███ Older update review: Happy for the update because now I can use the app again. The redesign is clean, but I have two gripes. Checking in is faster and more stable than the older versions, so 👍🏼, but it’s still too slow. My largest gripe is that I prefer the old way of displaying clocks. Firstly, it fit more clocks on the screen at a glance. Secondly, I just don’t find an ambiguous dot on a circle very useful. Is it halfway past a freckle for days, weeks, or years? You can’t tell until you dig into the clock. But you seem committed to forcing us to use it since you’ve removed the old clock display as an option. I just gotta admit that I hate it.

Helped me with its simplicity. I love the simplicity of this app. The clock ins alone are worth it. Just as a simple chip can encourage you, this clock helps you focus on one day at a time. Seeing how much money I've saved has been truly eye opening. I love that you can interact with others users or choose to remain private. I wasnt able to get to this review section through the rating pop up, however. When I click yes I would like to review it sends me to the app store but says it cannot connect. Keep up the good work!

Coming Up on 2 Years. I was seeking out an app like this when came across it. I had checked out 2 or 3 similar apps and found this one best suited for my needs. It’s simple, yet has all of the features you need, and it’s FREE (although I do recommend opting to unlock the add free version for a couple of bucks). I paired the use of this app and the Audible version of “A Naked Mind” and have been alcohol free for 18 months now; will be 2 years March 18th. The app creator seems like a great guy too and the community support is awesome. Best of luck to you on your journey.

A visual clock helps!. I've been in recovery in and out throughout the years this is the longest I've gone and I'm very happy and proud of myself. I'm also a visual person so just counting the days in my head can only do so much but being able to look at a clock and have a count for me makes me feel so much stronger. Thank you Parker for a great app and for anyone who is in the recovery, starting the road to recovery or thinking about recovery, this is a great way to visually see your recovery working for you. Stay strong, believe in yourself and take it one day at a time.

Needs a widget. This app is very helpful in keeping with your goals. Its simple interface and calculations of savings ($, calories, time, etc) has helped me stay on track like no other method has. THANK YOU. The ONLY complaint is that it doesn’t have a widget to display my days. I go in to the app to see my days and check in. It’s very helpful in functionality, but in the past when I’ve slipped up it’s easy to ignore the app. A widget would help immensely. Creator of the app - I’m willing to offer my services as a developer and help - $0.

Fantastic App!!!. Let me preface this review by saying this app is not for those who require intensive rehab of any sort. This app is for those who are ready to change and are willing to do just that through accountability and the help of this app. You must be willing to be able to hold yourself accountable as well as be there for others. I love the features that are included with this sobriety app. From money saved by being sober to time saved is just fantastic! If you are determined and ready to make a change on your own, this app is perfect for that.

So far so cool. It’s my first day with the app and I can say I’ve never seen an app that had someone so personable as a creator who interacts with everyone as a genuine person. I’m unfortunately struggling and looking for any way that can help me at all so I have faith that soon here I can be proud and say I’ve made it even one month without a drink! That would feel fantastic as a start if I could and I am hoping this app makes it more possible. The app is easy to use and understand for me so far. I recommend it, any help is great help.

5th times a charm. Been up and down with alcoholism and groups like AA never really worked for me. As I was sitting in the hospital, getting over DT's, I was searching for groups that might help and heard about this app. As of writing this, I am only 8 days sober, but it has been extremely motivating when I am sitting around alone, which is when I would drink. I too have tried to request an accountability partner with no luck, but still love this app!! I know it's one day at a time, but every chip I get, is like moving up a level in a video game. Keep up the good work. GREAT APP

FIVE STARS. This is such a great app for drug/alcohol addicted personalities. I'm a recent recoveree, and this app has been a persistent reminder of my achievements. A larger percent of us do not recover....and if/when we do, an even larger percent of us relapse, and even die. It's a daunting curse and scourge on our lives....so even the small things, such as glancing at this app and the ever-growing number of recovered days it shows us, is a greater breath of fresh air than one could ever imagine! I thank and commend the person who created it, and I'll be ever grateful...."one day at a time"!

Amazing app but functions badly. I love this app, don’t get me wrong, it helps me to keep track of my sobriety in an easy and mindful way. However, there are some bugs/lag issues that make it increasingly difficult to use. For instance, whenever I open the app a screen titled “rate nomo” opens up but never loads - leaving me on a blank screen that sometimes I have to relaunch the app to get out of. The check in feature I attempt to use every day, but the fact that it takes sometimes over 30 seconds to even load is making that irritating.

Great app, but.... Love the sobriety counter. Keeps excellent track of my progress in recovery as well as the amount of money I’ve saved. Great job! The only real flaw I find is the accountability partner option. I’m having difficulty getting in touch with others. Also, I feel that there should be some sort of filter options. As someone with over a year of sobriety and working hard to keep it, I don’t want to be paired with someone who just wants to cut back on the drinking. Other than that, great app. Very useful.

Best app for anyone. I have been very pleased since using this app I have currently been sober for two months and some days seeing the days grow on my app are very rewarding as well as motivating. There’s no type of unnecessary ads or notifications that you retrieve unless requested. I will fill forward will continue with this app even continuing my sobriety, and as well as multiple other things that this could help manage with. I appreciate the creator and the help that this has giving me since continuing my sobriety.

Best sobriety app!. I like this app because you can create as many different clocks as you want & you have free range to name them for each addiction, rather than other apps that make you select one preset category and have one overall sobriety clock. It tracks your milestones for each one. Also, the owner of the app Parker runs everything himself with 6 kids and it’s cool to support him instead of a big company! He’s helping so many people get and stay sober.

A app suggestion!. Hey Parker! I love the app and everything it includes thank you for making it! I do have a suggestion if you have time to read this. What would be the chances you would make the app a Lock Screen widget?? I feel if anyone was really going through it with whatever their trying to get over it would really cut down on the time given to them to think about relapsing? Just a suggestion though!! I just figured maybe it was a pretty cool idea! Anyways love that app thank you so much!

Wonderful tool!. This app is fantastic. A few days ago I posted a 2 star review because of an update that had removed a few important features. The developer actually listened to the users and he restored a few of the previously removed features. The app itself is user-friendly and simple; it has everything you need and not much that you don’t. It’s such a great tool for earmarking relevant dates and times. I regularly do extended fasts (2 to 3 days long) and NOMO is my go to for tracking how long it’s been since I began my fast, which helps me to appropriately determine when I should end it.

Love the app. It is an amazing app, it has helped me a lot. One thing I think would make a great addition is a graph that lets you see your progress, y would be based off of days sober and x could increase by one every time you reset. I think it would be helpful to see about when you normally reset weather you have a upward or downward trend and however it could help other people. Anyway thats my two cents. Thank you for developing this app for us.

Very Helpful. I’ve been alcohol free almost at 6 years. Best decision I have ever made. Following a path of recovery uncovered so much more than addiction and alcohol. My life has been completely transformed. I wasn’t initially big on counts & days but I believe if a person is in recovery it’s an important number to know and to share when asked. It’s not the number of days in general. To me it’s what has been done with those days. This app keeps it crisp and clean and simple. It’s no nonsense. Perfect.

Chip count. If you're looking for a thing that will help you accomplish your goals this is the one app I can help you get there if you go each day you look forward to getting Chip I'd let you know how close you are and you get checked in but you get to watch the dollar signs add in the digits get to get bigger than ours if you boss getting back your addiction doesn't seem to far away I hope you find this useful I hope that you choose this app and I hope you have a great amazing time fixing your life

Thoughtfully designed! :). It’s been quite a year + 4 months + 3 weeks + 4 days! :) I’ve absolutely loved having this app on my phone. Being able to check in at any time gives me an instant feeling of recognition while reminding me of my progress. The ‘money saved’ counter, in particular, is something I keep track of myself, and proudly share with others invested in my recovery. Also the creator of the app seems very sincere and genuine, which makes me love the whole thing even more!

Update to 5 stars. Thanks you for listening to us. I’m really happy classic mode is back as an option. I liked to use this app daily for motivation , and sometimes that meant discreetly looking at a quick (X years, X months, X Days etc.) and quickly closing the app. The ‘Fresh Look’ was pretty, but I already had people go “oh what you playing with there?” As I was having to manually scroll for each individual sobriety detail. for numerous clocks, this looks like I was playing a game or scrolling through reddit/facebook. I enjoy keeping my sobriety a happy secret, Classic mode is where it’s at for me.

This thing is great. For anyone struggling with addiction, no matter how major or minor, or anyone trying to change a habit of any type this is an amazing tool. It helps remind you of how far you’ve come and what you’ll have to start over if you slip. I haven’t used it, but there’s support available from others if I understand correctly. You can have multiple timers and label them however you wish. It’s free, but it would be super cool if everyone can make a donation to this guy because he worked really hard on it.

Super helpful. I love this app, it's been incredibly helpful for me. I love that I could have my boyfriend download it so that he can basically follow my clocks, it takes a lot of pressure off what are always tough conversations. If I can give one bit of constructive criticism it would be that there is no section for eating disorders. There is for "food" which is a triggering word for me honestly and what I'm going through has little to do with food. So I ended up choosing "self harm" because I felt it fit best. It does make it hard to connect with other partners dealing with the same issues because of this.

Refocus “activities” to distract your brain. I think it’s very very cool that he included these refocus activities in the app to distract your brain if you’re feeling like picking up your specific vice. Example: If you’re feeling anxious and like you’re waning to to pick up a bottle, you can use the breathing exercise activity. For myself, I have *undiagnosed* dermatillomania, and I like to use that bubble wrap to distract me from wanting to pick my fingers apart. Well done on this app Parker, and thank you. Once I begin full time work I’ll certainly donate to the cause.

Best app. This app is amazing! To the creator, thank you. Truly. It’s an app where no matter what addiction you have you’re able to track your sobriety and even talk with others who are fighting the toughest fight. Being able to read and even write my own testament of being an addict is so helpful. I also enjoy being able to interact with people 1on1. My only issue is sometimes it will just be white and I have to exit the app and reopen it. but I do understand is a fairly new app and the kinks are still being worked out.

Quit Old Habits and Keep Track. The best part about this app you can have multiple topics for things you’re trying to quit and improve on. It also has a check in and each day you check in to help you stay on track and overcome those habits you’re working on to quit. I’m not a perfect person but definitely making a healthy change for myself and this app is here to make sure to keep me on track!.

Amazing app. I never write a review but for this app, I definitely wanted to advocate for it to more people bc of how much it has helped me with my addiction. I’m 78 days in and I really like how it allows you to add someone to help you be accountable. On top of that, the creator of the app made it entirely free, unlike the other apps on here - goes to show the authenticity behind their intentions of wanting to help others out. I really do appreciate it very much. Anyone that’s going through addiction and wanting to get better should really get this app. 10/10 recommend

Wonderful tool. I’m about 10 days into using this app and so far I have enjoyed it very much. When you’re first getting sober, time doesn’t feel real. And seeing a number just to kinda confirm and reassure me that time is passing and I’m making it through days is a comfort I didn’t know I needed. I can’t afford to financially support, but knowing this is just a man who wanted to help people and make a change is worth 4 stars already. We need more people who care about people right now.

Review of NOMO sobriety app. 6:15am southeast Michigan- I got out to my tree stand extra early this morning and decided to write a quick review for nomo. It’s a great app because it gives you a visual on basic accomplishments of your sobriety, counts days, weeks, money saved, time saved, and those few things alone are convincing enough to stay sober..... nomo is great because it’s for us people that need or want that reminder of when they became sober, why the became sober, and to remain sober. In my case it’s from drinking alcohol which is the worst thing you can ever do to your body and mind.

Love it. I personally adore the app. I got it almost three years ago to help keep sober and after the first year and a half after that it got really buggy for me to the point where I couldn’t even see my clock. But I recently checked the app again and not only has the clock been fixed but everything works so much better and even has new functions I didn’t know about like the breathing and bubble wrap! (Which I love) I definitely recommend this app

highly recommend, an amazing app!!!. this app has helped me keep track of my sobriety so so well! the app doesn’t feel like just an app. the creator works one on one with users that reach out to help make their experience with the app a good one. he really cares! you have the option to go on your journey solo or add some “accountability partners” to join you on it, which gives you a very connected sense. sometimes the app can be a bit slow, but that’s such a small price to pay for something that is so helpful and FREE!!! GET THIS APP! 💗💗

Accountability outside of meetings. It's nice to run to something when I can't make it to a meeting and I feel like using. The encouragements are great, the journal helps me keep all of my thoughts organized in recovery, the accountability is great and I really like the clocks. Whenever I feel weak I go to my clock and click "Check In" it's almost like I'm telling someone "I'm here. I'm okay. I'm not using." I would recommend this app to anyone who is early in recovery and just needs a tiny bit of extra accountability and guidance in their lives.

Poorly optimized. this app is poorly optimized, every time I open the app I am greeted with a blank white screen with a “home” icon. Naturally I click the home icon and i see my habit clocks. yet they are blank, it takes a few seconds for them to actually display the time passed since they were set. When I need to reset the clocks, I must force quit the app in order for the reset to take effect. it is extremely clunky. there are many other apps that serve the same purpose while doing it quicker and waste less time. I don't care about watching a small dot go around in a circle, i want to see how many hours have passed after a specific date and time. plain and simple.

Excellent service that could use better mechanics. I've used the app for several months now and the effect of knowing I'm on the clock has been a massive boon. A must have for those of you with bad conditions to kick and want an easy way to stay accountable. My only issue with the app is the interface. I've used three clocks at once and it gets a little annoying when I have to enter each of their detail pages to get my new chip. I would also be more encouraged to check in if the button was not on this same details page. Keeping these effects streamlined and easy access would really help the app.

So Buggy, It’s Unusable. While I appreciate the concept behind the app, it’s so laggy and buggy that I am unable to use it. The app almost invariably appears as a blank white screen, requiring me to quit and reboot. This rarely resolves anything, though, so I can only access the app stats when it cooperates, which is barely 10% of the time. It’s too bad, because the tool could be a tremendous motivator if it actually worked. I made a small donation for the ad-free version, but that was a worthless upgrade.

Problem i noticed + request. This app is great 100% Problem: The clock does not include Daylight Savings Hours. Not too long ago, the time "sprung forward", so now my clock is 1 hour behind what it should be. Request: Can you make it so we can have custom types of clocks? I know that you can make the name of thr clock whatever you want, but I mean I want to make the actual type of clock specific things like: “Running” or “Daily Pages Read” and stuff, rather than just a list of options like “Alcohol”, “Drugs”, etc.

Bad mechanics. Got this app to quit a habit of waking up in the middle of the night and eating junk food. When I was able to actually use the app it was confusing and not user friendly (which says alot because I’m very young and have had a phone for more than half of my life). But as of recent the app simply won’t open up anymore. My habit wasn’t that serious or dangerous, but I would hate to think that someone struggling to quit something more dangerous would feel pretty set back if the app they used to track their progress just stopped working. I’ve tried powering off my phone, restarting the app, letting it sit for 10 minutes. Nothing has worked. Wouldn’t recommend.

Terrible App. From the beginning I had issues with this app. I continually told it to format my dates as mm/dd/yyyy but it always showed my date as being dd/mm/yyyy. I had to keep deselecting my start date because it kept changing my start date. This morning I went on and it changed to a completely different month, 3 month earlier than I started. Aside from it never having the dates right, the user controls are terrible. I can never figure out where to view my clocks and it’s not user friendly at all. Plus it keeps trying to paste information I had been copy/pasting on other apps. Why does it have that information and why would it need it? I would rate this zero stars for all the hassle if I could.

Great way to check in daily !!. The app is pretty good. I like that it breaks down months, days, minutes, & seconds, and gives the opportunity to see how much time and $$ you were wasting, although I still can’t figure out why I don’t have all this money I’ve managed to save over the past 100 days since I’ve been clean 😛, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to follow others, that’s about the only issue I’ve got with the app, overall great app!

I live by this app. I am not sure I could have made it to my upcoming 4 year mark without this app. There is everything you need to guide you to stay sober. I always tell people about it. I swear by it and it has truly changed my life. Thank you to the creators for making something so useful to keep me on track and focus my goals in the right place. I now am sober with a great job and have found the man of my dreams and we’re getting married soon because your app helped me clean up my life. So thank you from the bottom of my heart

Fantastic app, responsive developers.. I've been using this app for over a year now, and it's awesome. It's been a great tool in my own personal recovery, and I've been able to share it with other men in my accountability group. I emailed the developers with a few suggestions for improvement, and was surprised to see an email response the next day. They were very positive and thought about incorporating my suggestions in the very next version. And all this for free? It doesn't get much better than that. Thanks guys for all your doing to help men like me take steps towards freedom.

This App Keeps Me Honest. The idea to get an application like Nomo came to me when I was watching the Netflix series, Love. Ever since, I've loved being able keep record of my sobriety. In fact, the application was very easy to set up. After making an account, you put information regarding your situation into the application, so it can create a clock for you to view your time clean and sober. In fact, the application calculates how many hours and dollars you will save the more you progress. Overall, I love Nomo!

Great for accountability!. This app is not only incredibly well made, it also has multiple features beyond the simple clock. It will give you reward tokens for reaching certain benchmarks, but it also allows you to connect with others on the same recovery journey. You can share clocks and receive notifications when someone your following checks in or resets their clock. This app has helped me to not feel so alone in my recovery walk. Thanks fo keeping it free. It is incredibly well thought out and well executed!

I don’t usually write reviews.... I would like to personally thank Parker for creating this app. I’ve been suffering from CHS (cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome) and felt like I’d never be able to stop smoking. The encouragements help immensely, and I really enjoy writing them and helping others through their struggles. The only addition I would add is the ability to reply to people’s encouragements. Kinda like a little forum. Or maybe have it as an option to have people reply to your encouragements. Just a thought. God bless!

Amazing App. Nomo has been life altering for me. Each morning when I wake up and get the notification that I've been sober for one more day, it reminds me of how far I've come, and how much better my life is without alcohol. And on my bad days, I log in to see how many days I've been sober and how proud I should be of that fact. Each day is a brick in my foundation of clean living, and the work i've put into sobriety. Nothing on this planet will cause me to tear down what i've built. I give credit to Nomo for this.
