Awesome alternative to Grain Science. Very unique sounding synth. Similar to Grain Science, but it has a few synthesis options GS doesn't have. I can't wait for this to get on Audiobus!

Broken. I get no sound no matter what I do. I've got iDensity and it works fine. So it seems I just wasted nine dollars. I'm on iPhone 5 iOS 6.1.2.

iDensity’s Siamese twin. Amazing app by an amazing dev, marred only by its overly similar feature-set to that of iDensity. After playing with both for a few hours, it’s clear they don’t really compliment each other—which is very unfortunate, given they are both amazing apps. I find myself deep in a preset in iDensity and wishing I could get a bit more control over the manipulation of grains, while in iPulserat wishing I could automate my sample-scrubbing. There isn’t a clear, conceptual distinction between the two; and I have a hard time deciding which app to open, since I don’t necessarily know beforehand which of their slightly different features I want, and their preset formats don’t appear to be interchangeable. I would much rather pay extra for one all-encompassing “iDensity Pro” than for an additional app which is only a slight variation of the iDensity concept. Again, though, amazing apps, both of them. Keep up the good work, Mr. Ape!

cool app. as someone else mentioned, this is an interesting app and seems very related to the engine in its companion, idensity. what i don't understand is why they have tow different apps as opposed to one app that uses the same engine with different interface options. in other words, the keyboard option and the playing on the sound file option. maybe they could have an in-app purchase option so it would make my purchase of ipulsaret more flexible in the long term.

Confusion. Weird sound effects and other weirdness, app and other graphics are great. I dont even understand how to use it, its complicated.

Amazing Updates Still Coming.... Useful sounds is what it's about and you can find them with this app. There is a ton of value added in this update.

Granular Fantastics. A fantastic app! Granular synthesis can be very difficult to come by via hardware. Thanks to Apesoft we have it at the touch of our fingers. I highly recommend making some space of your desk for an ipad if you desire taking the granular dive.

Unique, and playful. This thing can make amazing and unexpected sounds. And the interface is incredibly inviting. If you have any interest in granular synthesis, particularly for melodic/harmonic work, this synth is great.

Crashing when opened for the first time. It crashed multiple times when opening after purchase. We’ll see how it works from now on?

Awesome. This is a great app! Basically a six channel granular effect with sample players for each channel. Only (slight) complaint is that the user manual could be better. The app is stellar, beats a lot of vst stuff (ok i still don’t have Crusher X.) I’m impressed.

Beautiful. I’m surprised that no one seems to mention how beautiful this can sound. Every sample I’ve imported can be mangled but it can also be shaped into something startlingly lovely.

Love it, but.... Downloaded today and it’s crashed 3 times!

Best granular synthesis app.. Lots of options, intuitive interface, high sound quality, fully midi controllable.

Excellent New Update. I have this app from the day one and this is now one super synth. Problem with all granular synths is they are difficult to control or to get sound you want. But this version is very playable and sounds great. It is obvious that Mr. Alessandro works very hard and I say thank you very much for this update. Absolutely essential app.

Doesn't work :(. Does NOT work with audiobus in the filter section, no sound at all. Just pops up an error saying remove background apps (which I always do when I start audio bus first, everyone knows that) Also no way on the developers site to leave a support ticket. If this issue gets fixed I will re-review this app, because it would probably be a great app if it worked!

One of the best. This app has been around for a long time. It was great when it came out and the devs were always diligent in maintaining it and improving it over the years. They have several excellent apps with consistent interfaces so if you learn how to use one then the others are a snap to learn too. I really think these apps are amongst the best in their class. Any musician who likes to make cool sounds and tunes that are not necessarily the same boring stuff, will live these apps.
