Great for language classroom. I teach a 1:1 Spanish class. The voice note feature is great both for my students and for me to leave feedback. It's so much easier for them to hear pronunciation corrections that to try to decipher them in written form. My one recommendation would be to add a scoring feature. I can't see grades I've written without opening up each individual document again.

Great Solution for Going Paperless!. Showbie is giving me everything I need for a seamless paperless workflow. I can push assignments out to students, collect them, annotate them, and push them back out all through the single app. No more downloading from dropbox into an annotation app and then back into dropbox -- which can take FOREVER. Essential app for the paperless classroom. A great workflow app that helps transition towards a paperless classroom. Allows teachers to post assignments and resources, which students can then edit in Showbie or other apps. I love that Showbie let students edits and turn in PDF documents right within the app. The new greeting features allow the teacher to quickly check the same page I'm PDFs for each student in the class and give valuable feedback.

What An App!!. I have been trying to find apps that will make my classroom more and more technology literate. We have had eBooks for the last 4 years and I have been trying to encourage my students (7th - 11th grade) to do more and more of their work with technology. ShowBie is perfect because my students can work on their math together on an iPad and then submit for grading (which can be easily done on the app). They are beginning to submit homework through ShowBie as well, and we are having so much fun figuring out all the different things for which we can use ShowBie. I am so excited to get my fellow teachers on board with this app. It has such potential for school wide use.

Great App for 1:1!. I'm a high school teacher and this is our first year as a one to one iPad school. This app has been great for all of my classroom needs. I moved from using Dropbox to this app because of its efficiency. The app is easy to manage and the ability to grade directly and even leave audio recordings very helpful.I have found that my students really enjoy using it and find it easy to navigate.I highly recommend this app!

Going Paperless Has Never Been Easier. I heard about Showbie at a conference this summer. It looked really simple to use and set up, so I thought I would try it out with my classroom. BEST. DECISION. EVER. My fourth grade students can easily turn in any assignment. Everything from green screen movies, to photos of projects, to old fashioned worksheets. It's so easy to use. My students and I really like how they can annotate right in the app. It's awesome. Check it out!

A very useful tool for my classroom. I work in a district where each middle school student is given an iPad. This app is perfect for my band and orchestra classes. Students are able to submit their goals and send recordings to me and receive feedback much quicker. I would give 5 stars if it didn't crash at home for students. - this may be a district problem though. Overall, a great app that helps me feel more connected to my students.

Many many glitches and bugs!. PDF documents open up as a black page. I can't view any of my own documents or my students' work without opening them up in another reader app. It will work for a few documents after deleting and reinstalling the app (having done this 5 times already in the past 15 minutes), but always goes back to blank screens again. Another glitch is the message that I can't edit any work because it is already being edited in another app (this is upon opening the document for the very first time). I have the Pro version, and this app is proving itself to be worthless unless these numerous bugs are fixed. Not worth the time or money!!

Paperless is amazing!. I'm a high school physics teacher and just collected, graded and returned a set of homework assignments, before the class period they were due! Now I know exactly where my kids stand and can lead meaningful discussions about their assignments. I used this all last year, but the new grading upgrades make using this app truly stand out. Students also find it really easy to use and they can't "lose" their assignments.

Awesome resource!. I use Showbie daily in my classroom. I teach Spanish and not having time to test my students weekly on pronunciation and speaking they submit a weekly Showbie and they have improved by leaps and bounds. I also use this to save on paper by uploading readings, vocab lists, etc. My district also incorporates eLearning and students have to submit materials electronically and this works wonderful. I don't know how I taught without this for years!!

Okay. It’s a good concept, but sometimes it glitches and I get missing assignments.

Chemistry teacher. This is the app I have been looking for!!! It allows me to post lab data sheets and worksheets, have my students do their work on the actual sheet, and submit completed work to me. It has cut down on the number of paper copies I use, and I can grade on my iPad using the app. The turn-around time from grading a paper to going to the next paper is very short. It is almost as quick as grading hard copies and doesn't require me to carry around a folder full of papers. All I need is my iPad. The grading time is improving as I get used to using the app. Only a couple of clicks are required to re-size the paper and write comments/corrections! I love it!!! Thank you Showbie!!!

Teacher. As teacher’s digitize their curriculum, Showbie is an amazing tool to lean heavily on. Students LOVE to turn work into Showbie. It is so much quicker and easier to grade than any other app that we as a district, have come across. I highly recommend a trial run, especially if you use pdfs in your class. Also, if you have students that are hesitant or cannot use the iPad for schoolwork, have them complete it, take a picture of it, and still turn it into showbie!

Great. This app has worked well for me. The only thing I would like to see is an email generated if a student turns in an assignment late. For example, when I finish grading a set of homework, I want to be able to tell Showbie to email me if any assignments are turned in after a particular date. This way I would get a notice if a student who is absent turns in a homework that I need to grade.

Faulty. Hey, I absolutely love your app! But the text box feature is majorly glitchy. It keeps kicking me out and I have to log back in.

Over 200 kids, this app is great. I have a lot of kids in every grade, K - 6. Showbie is an excellent tool for handing out PDF handouts, providing project instructions, and giving students and parents a place to see exactly what is going on in school. My fellow teachers can point to a late, time-stamped, or missing assignment when students ask about grades. The tool does exactly what it is designed to do.

So helpful. To Whom it may concern: Showbie is awesome. Though sometimes you may glitch, overall it is extremely helpful in our classroom. Showbie is very similar to Google classroom, but the ease of use is superior. One improvement that we suggest is the assignments can become “buried” in the folders. Amazing. I have tried multiple ways to go paperless in a classroom but this is by far the easiest and most efficient way I have seen. Coming in a building where they use this application, I can see why they choose it, its quick and easy to become well versed and proficient with the application. Not to mention the support staff is always their to answer a question when you have it. Amazing application, I would recommend it for any and everyone.

The Best Lightweight LMS for iPad. Showbie is a fantastic paperless solution, as they say, but it is also a great lightweight LMS (Learning Management System). If you’ve ever tried to submit an assignment from an iPad to Moodle you know how frustrating the process is. For those that aren’t aware, it’s like 10 steps! Showbie bypasses all of that by using the iPad’s built-in sharing system. Almost any App can share to it - iMovie, Pages, Notability, you name it! Kids and easily submit any kind of assignment directly to Showbie.

Showbie: A Must for Teachers!. Showbie is one of my favorite teacher tools which helps not only me, but students as they try to utilize their phones not only for entertainment, but for learning and education. My students are encouraged to use their phones as educational tools and they voted Showbie as the #1 app of their choice. They find Showbie easy to navigate and complete assignments and beg me for more "paperless" assignments all of the time. I, too, am finding Showbie to be one of my top three teacher tools that enhances my teaching and helps me and my students become better at utilizing our mobile devices for the classroom. Thank you.

One Truly Amazing App. Showbie is an absolutely amazing app! It has completely changed life in my classroom! We are so much closer to becoming paperless - which is an incredible accomplishment for which I am thankful. My students really enjoy using Showbie. I am hoping to upgrade to the pro version for the next school year. I would highly recommend the Snowbie app for all classrooms.

Lifesaver. Showbie is fantastic. It streamlines the process of collecting work and makes it easy to grade papers, no matter where you are. It is great for keeping parents in the loop and for tracking students who fail to turn work in or chronically turn it in late. The staff is quick and considerate with their response to questions or concerns and really do work to implement suggestions. Showbie has changed how things work in my class and helped me to be better organized and more on top of my grading. It has been nothing short of amazing.

Perfect for Primary Sources. Teaching Social Studies in a 1:1 iPad district and having ditched textbooks long ago, I searched for something that let me easily give feedback to students as they analyzed primary and secondary sources. Other teachers suggested email assignments, but it drove me crazy to have my email full all the time (even while using filters to send those assignments to folders…). I used a variety of LMS’s, and eventually stumbled upon Showbie. For the past 2 years, Showbie has been a go-to for grading writing, map analysis, etc. It allows me to give immediate feedback in written form as well as voice notes! I cannot recommend this enough.

GLITCHY AND USLESS. Worst app i have ever used. This app has deleted my work THOUSANDS of times. Everything about annotations is sooo much better on competition apps such as Notability. Sometimes work doesn’t upload. The SLOWEST app interface and its THE MOST GLITCHY.

Terrible. Glitchy mess

Teacher. I use Showbie for my 7/8 Math class; two sections of 7th grade, two sections of 8th. It’s very easy for my students to use, it saves me so much time with grading, and it allows me to set up other smaller classes to support my challenged kids and my accelerated kids. It fires up easily in class, and works great on both their iPad and my laptop. It’s really made a big difference in my workflow.

Horrible app. This app has cause me depression and anxiety that I started doing therapy because of my suicidal thoughts, I have to take pills now and I don’t know if I can do this anymore…

Quest to Paperless Classroom. iPad has been a powerful tool for taking in and producing information for my kiddos. Showbie has helped me close the loop on my paperless classroom by allowing my kids to submit work created on iPad to a central place that I can now access from my 1 iPad (instead of pecking around in each little iPad or dealing with a stampede of airdropped files). The added bonus is that when I post, grade, and leave comments on their assignments, parents can see if from home! I wish the app supported Pages/Word uploads so that I could work with students via Tracked Changes. Maybe in the future. Also, making sign in easier for multiple users would be so clutch! (Ahem, useful).

Great! Give me a Calendar?. I'm a high school science teacher, and I've found this app is a wonderful one stop place for my students to find their assignments, turn in assignments, and find their grades after I've graded right in the app. It's everything you need, and nothing you don't. One desire that I've heard from students and parents: if they could optionally see their assignments in a calendar view somehow, it would be magic.

Tutoring. Showbie is a perfect way to share documents, audio files, etc. with my virtual tutoring students. I like the ease of sharing assignments between students.

Perfect for paperless. I love this app because I can quickly and easily distribute math assignments to my algebra 1 and geometry students. I generally give them the choice of doing their work directly in showbie using the pen tool or doing it on paper and taking a picture of their assignment to attach and submit to me. The part that my students and I love is that there is not a complicated 'submit' process. They simply click 'done' to save their work and the file automatically updates on my end. I can give students participation points based on how much they were able accomplish in any given amount of time if needed and they can continue to work and correct their mistakes as well. Basically I love everything about this app!!

Not the best. In my experience its not the best tool to use. First of all it glitches and show that you turned in your assignment even when you haven’t. Second of all when a file cant be correctly imported it glitches and shows a error screen for a frame on the screen. Third of all editing on showbie its buggy and not great. For the first while of using it it seems fine but when you use it for 3, 4 years you start to notice the cons

Revolutionized!. My classroom has been revolutionized. With the addition of Showbie to my classroom my students are able to get their assignments both at school and at home. No more tracking down students for late work or for missing work when they are absent due to illness or school related activities. The amount of feedback that I am able to give my students creates more connection and better understanding within the classroom. It's also very helpful when it comes to parent teacher conference because the parents are able to see the entire body of work for their student. On a personal level it allows me to grade much quicker. I'm an English teacher and it gives me back my time on nights and weekends. Well worth the price.

Even a Kindergartener can do it!. Showbie is an easy and useful app that allows my kindergarteners to share and create things. My kindergarteners and I are able to upload books made in book creator. We can complete and check phonics worksheets, math journals and even upload pictures of more tactile activities. Showbie has helped keep my students accountable for their learning. I can not say enough how much we love Showbie!

Paperless Classroom with Ease.... I love this paperless classroom. The way it can organize a “stack” of assignments helps, and the fact that everything is time stamped is a plus. I love how I can now add narrative comments on a desktop instead of just an iPad. I also truly think that the tech staff is really attentive to our needs. Keep it up. I think I’d love it more if it allowed students to create more text boxes on a document instead of just using comments or handwriting.

Extremely glitchy. This app was made with the intention of making as much money from schools with the minimum effort. There are numerous bugs that never got fixed for even after a few years. This app lacks very basic features that every basic document editor has. It’s so poorly made that it can’t handle 5-10% of a page being filled up with annotations without lagging horribly. With constant crashes you can be sure that your work never gets saved. Even if you somehow manage to get through all that, more than a third of the time your work just simply does not save. It either flips pages, deletes random blocks of text and annotations, or just gives up and deletes all your work!

Good overall. It is user friendly for students and teachers alike. It also allows students to write directly into documents, video, and record. Students usually are able to submit work with little to no glitches. Over all, it is a great product. It could be better if : -it allowed teachers to assign groups and group assignments. -it allowed teachers to know what edits a student has made to late work so that partial credit may be earned. -it allowed teachers to create an assignment for multiple classes at once and to schedule those according to the scheduled time of each class.

No more clutter!!. Since using Showbie, my paper piles and clutter have practically disappeared!! No more misplaced assignments! With Showbie, you set the deadline. It will show you which students turned in their assignments on time. It also shows you when students have gone back in to an assignment that was already turned in. It lets a students know when you have checked an assignment. Showbie also allows you to plan ahead and leave your assignments locked until you are ready to use them. For those of us that teach more than one class, you can just copy an assignment with the click of a button. I love Showbie!!

Free Version Limited/Pro Version $180 per Year. This is a good little app. The free version is limited but serves a purpose. If you're trying to go paperless, this app is a good way to distribute work to your students. The free version only has one color ink and line thickness available. The text feature is limited too. I've found that I need to use Showbie to distribute work and have students use another app, like Notability, to do the work. If the free version had slightly more options available I would rate this 4+ stars (or if the pro version was less expensive). Showbie Is easy to learn and use, easy to sign students up, and easy to create and distribute assignments.

What am I doing wrong. I log on and the menus are the LEAST user friendly ways to navigate through the app! I’m glad I didn’t pay 💰! However if I could get the app to do any of what has been claimed, it would be a bonus. I have not uploaded any worksheets for I don’t know how. I would love video tutorials. I gave this app 2 stars because I still believe in the potential it has to revolutionize my life as a teacher. If I understood it, I would be using this on Monday (today is Saturday). Out of pure frustration I gave it 2 stars because I haven’t made any progress with it.

Great app for the classroom!. If your goal is to use less paper and make fewer copies for your classroom, Showbie is an app that will help you achieve your goal. The teacher can upload assignments to Showbie and students can complete the work on their iPads. Teachers can see how many students have completed the assignments and which assignments have been graded. Students can type or use a stylus to write on the assignment, and the teacher can leave comments on the graded work. I especially like that I can add an assignment or test and archive it until I am ready for the students to view it. It is also great to have all the assignments I need to grade organized on my iPad instead of in stacks of paper-clipped pages. Students love using the app and not having so much paper to deal with, too. The folks at Showbie welcome suggestions on features teachers would like to see added. I have a 1:1 classroom, and Showbie works great for us. I would recommend it.

Efficient, simple way to ‘flip’ your classroom. This app has completely changed how I can deliver content to my students in grades 4 & 5. No more having to run to the copier, wait in line and devour a ream of paper! With Showbie I can upload all the documents I would usually print and hand out to students, but they are delivered immediately to each student’s folder. Even better: I can modify assignments as needed, and give written or audio feedback in a flash. Comments, reminders, clarification, rubrics and more can all be shared instantaneously with students (and their parents). Students can have access to their entire class ‘folder’ through Showbie whenever they need to. No more lost papers, and time stamps on all files makes it easy to see when work was submitted. I recommend this to colleagues in my district all the time, as it’s become a huge time saver and a real convenience for us!

Amazing School Tool!. I use Showbie for school and it makes the students lives and the teachers lives easier! Even for a student, this app is TOO good! It says when assignments are turned in late D: The only thing that is bad about it, is it is hard to take notes! If Showbie and notability combined, schools would be all over this app! Oh My Goodness!!!. This has been my first year having iPads in my class room and one of our training classes exposed us to Showbie. I was slow to adopt it but in the last two weeks I am finding numerous ways to integrate Showbie into my classroom. (A note of interest before I continue: Showbie is available as an iPad app and can also be accessed by laptop or desktop computer for students who don't have an iPad at home). Showbie is very flexible app. Last week I used Showbie to upload an essay for my students to read and create a written response. Later in the week, they used Showbie to answer questions from selected textbook and internet readings. This week they have been using showbie to take lecture notes, write comments on videos and accomplish their bellwork. I have become so excited about Showbie that my fellow teachers are probably tired of hearing me talk about it. I strongly recommed this app for any teacher wanting to digitize their class. Unlike many other applications available, Showbie is very easy for students and teachers to learn and use. It's flexibilty is such that several teachers in our district have gone completely paperless, using Showbie for almost all of their assignments.

Showbie. This app is a travesty to humanity. It is horrible glitchy and downright unfunctional it’s should be banned from school use. It’s ineffective inefficient and bad. Showbie isn’t a usable app. This shouldn’t be the standard. This should be the lowest example.

issues.... okay, I love showbie bc it was really helpful during online learning BUT... I hate the new update where it looks so different. You can’t see the full class name when you press the folder bc it’s so big. I also HATE the notification bell thing bc I can’t properly see my notifications. I liked the old update much better. it would be amazing if u could change it back again. overall, I love the app... thank you

Good work. I’m a student but I think this app is best for teachers. It is very good, with L@H we can now download documents which make it easier to send back to teachers. It is very good I recommend this to schools that don’t use this app already.

Really good meditation app. Discovered this app after I met my friend Kelly, we used in while we were swimming. Honestly this app helps a lot with yoga and driving a car. Definitely would recommend this to my friend batman.

Bugs. Extremely useful for school and such but there are just so many bugs. I can get around it but it glitches very often. If I’ve finished my annotations and want to press ‘Done’ to finalise it, it just says there was a problem with saving and I either need to discard everything I’ve written or continue editing. It’s not a problem with wifi or anything, and it happens to many people. And uploading videos and such takes quite a while but it’s alright. Overall, great app for schools but the bugs need to be sorted out.

Great all rounder. Using Showbie Pro has made setting classroom and homework tasks so much easier. Two way feedback for students and teacher is great. See students progression through understanding by using different colours at each stage. All their work in one place - I love it!

Awesome but........ I’m a teacher and I love this app and the simplicity of using it. However, I have an account as do both of my own children and we keep getting logged out and logged into each other’s accounts. Not practical when are all using it at the same time.

Tim. I've been using Showbie for over a year now and found it to be extremely user friendly. I use it to store children's PE videos which they take on their iPads. I can then easily refer to them come report writing time. Brilliant.

Pretty good. Yes it is good I am a kid and I use it like probably 100% of the day at school but cuz of the thing going around and I am at home its had a lot of glitches for example when I’m just typing something it would just randomly freeze or I would be swiping and it freezes and the worse thing that dose happen sometimes is that it doesn't save but apart from all of the glitches it is still a grate app 😊

READ IT ALL!!!. My expirence with showbie was a total disaster. It wouldn't save any of my work, and block me out of classes. It was unfair that everybody in my grade had no problem with showbie, only me. Honestly if i could i would take showbie to the ombudsman because this is totally unfair. Right now it is holidays and i am sitting here about to do my HASS assesment again because it did not save. I AM SOOOO FRUSTRATED. It is very annoying to because if children have borthers|sisters that use showbie to they have to log out and sign in again. I have a sister and once she changed my name to eye can see you with. picture of a eye. I would not reccomend this app to anyone. Move to One Note, that will be way easier. thankyou for taking the time to read this, i hope this changes your mind.

5 Stelle. Fabulous platform to create interesting and fun lessons. All the tools required to provide one on one feedback. I have only recently started using it, and find it user friendly and fun to use.

AMAZING. This app is amazing, our school uses this for all subjects. It’s incredibly useful. I only have 1 problem about it, it doesn’t have a dark mode. If they added a dark mode I feel that many people would like it.

Good app. This app makes my schoolwork much easier. Though I hate using it, it is better than a book. The only reason it lost a star is it’s occasional glitches.

Better than canvas. Have you ever wanted to commit genocide on Iberian monks? Me neither. Took my children here on a sightseeing tour. We ate ice-cream afterwards. Would recommend this app for people who also like ice-cream.

Suggestion. Overall pretty good app but I wish that there was feature where you could add photo to an exisiting document like an overlay.

Showbie is amazing. I personally love showbie. It’s is so useful for online school because I have to do online school because of the Covid 19 [ corona Viras] it helps to keep in contact with my teachers and see work easily. There are a few probs but it is 98% amazing! The orbs are it can sometimes take ages to load an i sometimes have to print the worksheets out but most of the time its ok. I hope you agree that showbie is an amazing app!!!!!!!

I love it!. Showbie is, in my opinion, the best app for school homework! Even if you are away, if you have internet, a device with Showbie and your logged in profile on it, your set! The only thing that I think could be helped is Showbie being able to be used even without internet.

It is effective but.... I’m being honest. It’s good, but the thing is. I can’t get to my account. I was doing my assignment and left so I can do something else, but as I went on the app. For a second, the screen was normal, but then it suddenly turned into the sign in thingy area. I tried signing in, but it kept saying that they can’t find any records of my account. Then notifications came up from showbie like mRS KiM gAve yOU an ASSIgnment, and when I pressed it, it still won’t work. It is good to use, but just. Annoying.

Bugs and glitches. As some of you may know, Showbie is not an app well known for no bugs. With crashes and files being unable to save happening quiet frequently, these are the only problems I have so please try to fix them as it is very annoying

Recommended To All Teachers And Students. I am a student that loves this app and it is easy, swiftly-running and is a great way to save paper and trees online without have to not do any work. I use this app most days for just about any subject. I love the whole concept of this app and think every school should use it. Something to work on is maybe after 30 days, or a term or something, delete the collected assignments. Otherwise it might just clog up space and be hard to find what you need to work on in the ‘collected’ section. I also like how you can do voice recordings, post images and much more like adding text and even a ‘markup’! I have used this app for almost three years now and it has been brilliant. I hope this helped any new teachers, students or other users. Cya:)

It’s fine and simple. I’ve been using this with my teacher for about three terms and, I’d have to say, it’s not the best compared to others, but it’s simple to use and works smoothly. 4 stars.

When I first saw it I thought Showbie was loading but I then realised that the icon just changed. Please change it back it’s horrible. Shoebie has lots of shoes for sale, which make it one of the best paperless classroom apps. Everything is entirely based on shoes, and this is probably one of the best things about this app.

Simple and effective. I've used this for about 4 months now including an entire topic done paperless. It really works well. It's simple so you don't waste time setting it up. It's very easy to open files from elsewhere straight into Showbie. It's great, because by it's very design, Showbie organises student work. Today I opened up Showbie on my iPad, marked some student work and graded them without leaving the app. That's pretty good! I would love to see rubrics added. Students have enjoyed using it. This app has changed the way I collect and return work. Premium fees (only necessary if you want to grade from within the app) are a little high I feel. Recommended.

amazing app for teachers. when you look at the title you think im a teacher but no im a student anyway this app is amazing! teachers can give you work even if you get stuck in traffic and cant get to school. it also saves paper and is more organised. when you sre at home you can get your test results. you can also kinda comunicate with your teacher. Very Good. I use this app 99% of the time at school and it’s really useful! Ever since we started using this app at school, my teacher has barely printed out work! My only concern is that sometimes (not all the time, but sometimes) it takes a long time to load the annotations and then save them, even if I’m quickly exiting, looking at another sheet for a few seconds and then switching back. But apart from that, it’s an amazing app!

Amazing education app!. I'm a teacher and I want to do most jobs on my iPad. This app helps me to set up classes, assign work, post reflections, receive students' work done on their iPads, mark their work using my iPad, which they can view and comment. Almost like a one-stop shop. Only one frustration so far: it is sometimes reluctant to let me sign out.

Do you ever spill coffee on student work?!. Ever had that sinking feeling when you think you've lost a kids draft in the papers piled high on your desk?! Ever been embarrassed to hand back a draft with a wine or coffee stain on it?! Ever had a student say "My book got wet/ left on the train/ lost and I've lost everything"?! Then you NEED this app! Students can submit digital work or photos of written work for teachers to mark, annotate, draw on, leave voice or typed comments etc. Why spend time typing out a comment they mightn't even read or understand when you can just SAY it to them in a recording !?

Vital. You really don’t have a choice. Why are you looking at the reviews even though you have to get it. You need it, unlike me with a therapist. I don’t need a therapist.

BEST classroom app!!. Being 1:1 iPads I have been trialling various ways to collect, read, view, assess, give feedback Eric etc. Now I have found it! I cannot recommend highly enough how easy to use this is (for primary/elementary) students. The latest update put it across the line as the number 1 iPad too for the classroom. You'll wonder how you ever survived without it!

it’s alright. this app is really good I’ve been using it for the past two years but some things are really annoying. Like when I upload a file yes it uploads correctly but it does this ‘loading annotations thing’ and my teachers can’t see the full document if it’s more than one page. And this is really annoying because I get messages from my teachers asking why I haven’t done the work when I literally have but showbie just won’t show it🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 so ken y’all like fix this so my teachers don’t think I’m slacking off in online learning plez and thank you

glitches need to be fixed.. Lots of people have been having these problems. There are so many glitches and they appear often. It is very annoying especially when it doesn't save your annotations. Please fix this.

Fantastic app. I use Showbie for all my Visual Art classes and it is such a good way to deliver, collect and assess student work. It has saved heaps of paper and ink cartridges over the last year. The students really enjoy getting feedback on their work and can share it with parents as well.

Showbie is the Best Tool I’ve Got. Showbie is hands down the best tool I’ve ever used to supplement my teaching. I use it every single day in a number of ways. It would be hard for me to go back to teaching without it.

Show Me Showbie. #1. Showbie is not blocked in my school. Any software that stores student information outside of Canada is banned from use by legislation. Showbie works. Great web software for assigning and collecting assignments. It even works with with Video submissions. My one suggestion for change would be to include the ability to add an assignment to a class by simply clicking of the gear by the title of the class. If you click New Assignment at the top of the page it defaults to the top class and I repeatedly add assignments to the wrong class. Works great on my Mac and iPad.

Ça ne sauvegarde pas. Étudiante ici. L'école nous fait utiliser cet app, mais c'est une vraie blague. J'ai passé 2h à annoter un long texte d'une vingtaine de page, mon iPad meurt, et bien évidemment Showbie n'a rien pu sauvegarder pendant ce 2h. Il fallait absolument cliquer "terminé" avant. C'est ridicule. Je comprends que ça prend beaucoup de data sauvegarder à chaque modification (malgré que PDF expert le fait merveilleusement), mais au moins sauvegarder à chaque 30 min. Il est presque minuit et je n'ai plus le temps de recommencer mes annotations qui m'auraient été TRÈS utiles pour mon cours de demain. Il faut que mon école trouve une meilleure solution que Showbie.

This app. This app is the worst for online homework use google classroom. This app requires an apple pen to work with and the homework doesn’t register half the time. If I could give it 0 stars I would when you slide to the next page there is momentum so often when trying to go to the next page you go to the end of the document. Also there is a delay of about 2 hours when sending something. And don’t give them your e mail they send you a notification each time someone comments something and it floods my in box. This app should be removed burned buried for 100 years burned again and then sent to Brazil.

Fifth grade teacher. Because there is a big push to reduce paper usage in my district, I decided to give Showbie a try. My students and I find it easy to use. I love having all the papers at my fingertips without hauling papers home. It is easy for the kids to receive quick feedback from me. I love using it!

The new, improved Showbie is awesome!. I've loved Showbie since I began using it. It is so easy to upload PDFs, ePubs, and web links(great for 1st graders-when you have a game or video you want them each to play or see). I'm finding new ways to incorporate Showbie in my classroom; it is super versatile! Latest idea is using it with manipulatives to provide a learning center game... I love my Showbie! Give it a try!!!!

Love this app!. This app is easy enough to use with 1st graders. My students can easily finish exit slips, tests and practice pages. I am able to grade these anywhere that I have my iPad. Love it and so do my students!

Fantastic App!!. My teacher introduced our class to this app and it's wonderful! It's a "hub" where teachers can give assignments and students can do them without the need of paper. You can have multiple classes at once and it also reminds you when homework, tests, and quizzes are due.

Average. My teacher for probability and statistics used this app for our class last semester. Showbie is used to upload worksheets for students, and allows the teacher to write on them once they are submitted. I found this really helpful for prob and stats because it allows the teacher to visually show you what you are doing wrong without face to face interaction.

Showbie Features. I am really enjoying using this app in my classroom. It would be awesome if the app would allow me as an instructor to add a few directions…just thinking about reminding students to attach a rubric or post a url to allow me to evaluation a coding project. Thanks!

Great help. This app has definitely helped me, especially with my bad organizational skills. I have not had to worry about losing my worksheets for school and not getting a grade. It's wonderful, but 4 stars because it needs to work on the calibration with the Apple Pencil.

The beta webpage is wonderful, and though I wish it had the writing tools like the app (our class is BYOD, and they don't all have devices), we appreciate the new features!

6th grade teacher. Everyday my class uses Showbie to open assignments and upload completed work back to their personal folder for me to review. It is simple to provide feedback, especially with voice notes. Students stay organized and Showbie easily connects with other apps such as Notability!

Great for management of electronic submissions. As a teacher, this app is essential for the digital classroom. It is easy for students to upload files and for teachers to provide feedback, even in voice memo form. Small drawbacks: file sizes are limited (keep iMovies at one minute or less), and i haven't found a way to delete a voice memo.

Game changer for digital classrooms. Great features and easy to use. What I love best is how responsive the Showbie team is to help requests and how they are always improving their product. The new gradebook feature is really handy, and the improved annotation tools much appreciated.

Amazing!. I have been using Showbie for years and it keeps getting better and more useful. It’s the perfect tool to collect student work of any type (written, typed, audio recordings, media, etc!) and provide personalized feedback! I don’t know what I would do without Showbie in my classroom!!

I would give it a 0, but that’s not possible. So I give you…a 1. This is horrendous. My 8 year old daughter, Anastasia, has been having problems with this software app since she had downloaded it. Every time she goes to submit an assignment it fails to upload. Her teachers have gotten her in trouble for not turning in her assignments. I hope you can fix this problem so that my daughter, Anastasia, can have a delightful education.

GREAT App!. This app allowed me to transform my classroom to being virtually paperless. Kids got used to it quickly. There are a few upgrades I'd like to see but will go online to voice them. Thank you!

Annotations for iPhones. I would like to suggest a feature where you can add and edit annotations on your phone. I have showbie on my phone and it would be pretty convenient to do my homework on my phone instead of the computer or an iPad. Plus people constantly say you need to pay for the app, but I don't need to. I don't know why people keep saying this. People are probably just wanting to get the app bad reviews.

High School Teacher. The good: great for a paperless classroom, when it works properly. The bad: must pay for the year subscription to get all the good features. Can be hard to keep track of assignments, especially when using for multiple classes/students. Becomes frustrating when in the middle of grading errors out, saying "cannot connect to the Showbie server." This happens too frequently to not be frustrating.

4th grade teacher. This is such a great tool for the classroom. We have started using a stylus and that allows students to write on the app easier. We are using the free version, but are excited to use this in the future. Thanks for creating a great app.

Awesome!. Showbie is working really well for my class. My students find it incredibly easy to use to load their assignments by either taking pictures of their handwritten homework or typed papers. I particularly like how easy it is to use the comment function by typing right onto the homework. This app is silky-smooth!

Teacher. We love showbie! It's so easy for my first graders to use! Love being paperless! Love being able to archive assignments! It's so nice to not have to take stacks of papers home to grade, and the convenience of being able to grade when I want with access to all students! I love that students can make quick corrections also!

Fast and Easy Way to Submit. I love using Showbie. It makes turning in work so fast and easy. My students have turned in eBook projects, iMovies, notes, voice recordings from Explain Everything and plain voice recording directly in the app. It makes be paperless feel a lot more organized. Changed my teaching life. I use this app for all projects, assignments, hw's and tests. It is wonderful an has gotten better every year with their various updates. I grade tests, listen to reading assignments and assign work all on my phone. Get the pro edition, it's worth every penny.

Working on phone. I use this app on my school iPad and it has been working terrific and never disappoints me. The only downside is that I can not use this on my phone. Every time I’m out of town and I don’t have my iPad, I always try to resort to my phone but it never works. Fix this

I love it!. Why didn’t I know about this before? The PERFECT tool for any kind of elearning, whether fully distance or blended. I love it and wish I had started using it much sooner. A must for math teachers. Showbie is solving my remote learning problems as a math teacher - I am able to annotate student work that is easy for them to upload in an organized place. Much much better than other options. Loving it so far!

Awesome. This app is one of the best to communicate and assign work to students. I love the sharing capabilities and easy interface. I would like just to see more colors and better design in the platform. It is a little boring. I recommend this app for any teacher in any grade.

Needs some work. This is a very good app but it still needs a few things added to the next update. Some of these things are: 1. this app crashes a lot!!! (Fix it!!) 2. needs a faster system to load documents 3. Should add more color choice to each class. So you can customize each folder with a different color to organize items better. Other then that I think that this is a great app!

Great app. Great app for all subjects and grade levels. I currently teach high school math and I assign all quizzes and homework with this app. Easy to upload worksheets, and it is easy for students to upload documents they have created as well.

Excellent App for Classroom. This is an excellent app for a paperless classroom. It is easy to use, and it shows real-time updates. I've been using for two months now, and I'm quite happy with the results. I wish I could have the choice to view all the assignments done by a particular student instead of having to check the assignments one at a time to see the student's work. I highly recommend this app. Good job!

Disappointed. I have used this app for 2 years. Always loved it and had great things to say until recently. The app gave the teacher the ability to lock assignments and the ability to copy assignments to multiple classes in the free version. Just this month they have taken those away from the free users and made them premium tools only. So if you plan to use this app be careful because they might take free things away!

Great App!. After just a few weeks of using Showbie, the percentage of my students submitting assignments on time has doubled! I like this app so much that a colleague and I are writing a grant to get the Pro Version for our departments for next year. Love this app!

Need a feature back. Love, love Showbie...use it pretty much every day. I'd like to see the feature back where I can change the name of the document in the students' work folders. I can still change it in my shared folders, but not the individuals.

Amazing iPad dropbox. Showbie is a fabulous way to eliminate handling stacks of papers and is such an efficient time-saver for me! Plus, students get immediate feedback, and no more graded papers trashed or lost by students. I can add quizzes/tests easily for students to open in Showbie and use the pencil or text option to complete. As a 20-year classroom veteran, I insist this is a must-have for iPad classrooms!!

Great Tool!. This is a great app! I really like how easy it is to use! Would really like to see the email feature be able show annotations so I could email the student's work back to the parents. Currently the email only sends the scanned in activity. Other than that this is a wonderful tool to use in the classroom!
