Just what I needed. It's nice and simple. Great for quick temp lookups while prepping to cook.

Easy to use.. Gives the charcoal briquette count for both standard and deep Dutch ovens.

Looks like just what I need, but…. This app has the three variables to determine how many coals, but… I can’t change the size of the pot, and sometimes the temperature gets stuck and can’t change that either. Fix that and I would give it 5 stars. Running on iOS 16.0.3 iPhone 12

Spot-on!. I highly recommend this app. I used it while camping. Its recommendations worked well for me. No limitations on internet connection which is great for camping. I followed its advice for charcoal briquettes with my GSI anodized aluminum Dutch oven (also highly recommended) to bake some cornbread. It came out fantastic.

Great place to start. Really simple great app to know about where to start with where to place and how many briquettes to use. Especially for beginners and people new to dutch oven camp cooking, the only caveat is that depending upon altitude, wind, humidity, you might adjust a briquette up or down, but thats what experience is for and experience is fun in the camp kitchen

Is what it claims to be!. This is, simply put, a quick and easy way to get the right amount of coals for your exact cooking situation. The developer responds very quickly and positively to feedback. I'll be happy to keep using this great addition to my cooking tools.

Excellent advice. I don’t know if you can improve on such a great app, unless there is a way to take into account the outdoor temperature and wind chill. I don’t have empirical evidence to prove this but I believe it impacts temperature and cook time.

Touch functions are offset. I like the info, but scroll does not work when finger is on scroll but does when far left on scroll or on most of scroll wheel to left. A bit annoying. Fix this and it will be a solid app.

Killer little app!. I have used this app multiple times and with great success. Mostly when it comes to baking breads as temp control is pretty key for that. Granted, you can always look up the info online regarding coal numbers and placement, but it's killer having it all in a little free app on your phone. Highly recommend it.

Pretty good app. It did a great job getting temps i needed with specific number of coals.

Very useful. We do a lot of Dutch oven cooking with the Boy Scouts. This app works well to determine the briquettes needed for any temp or cooking type. Has always given us the best results.

Changing the size. I tried to change the size of Dutch Oven. It was stuck on the 6 inch. Very disappointed, I had high hopes so my grandson could learn. I’ve cooked for years so I can do by memory. He still needs help. 😢

No Briquette Number after update. There are no briquette numbers after the latest update. App is currently completely useless and will be deleted shortly to find another that works.

Great Guide for Dutch Oven Cooking. My husband and I have used this app for years. It is very handy to help you how many briquettes you need in order to get the right cooking temps. I especially recommend it to beginners.

Can’t see no. briquettes in night mode ios13.. When the iPhone switches to night (dark) mode the number of briquettes disappears.
