Worth A Read. It's hard enough to put together a publication monthly, bi monthly, but weekly. It keeps your interest but there's almost room to improve. Great info. Would like to see more gear reviews and material on Lightroom. It's worth the read.

Photography Week. I went through everything to download this magazine that is designed for both iPhone and iPad only to be told it can only be read on an iPad....tsk, tsk

Once great, now tediously terrible. I've subscribed for 2+ years, but recently turned off my annual September auto-renew. Changes amount to still more in-your-face obtrusive popups, advertising a sister zine, quiz or buying older editions of this zine. What was once smooth operation is now a sputtering mess. In short, these folks no longer respect the reader, which shows at every turn. I'm off to find another photog zine. This one is now on my blacklist.

Buyer beware - Half the issues won't open. The most recent issue, as well as many previous issues will not open at all. Great idea, but I'm going to have to cancel my subscription because I can't read any of the issues on my iPhone 6 plus because they're crashing!

Great app content needs more depth. The interactive nature of the app really makes reading this magazine a pleasure. The content tends to recycle itself every few episodes. Also the reviews of cameras and gear tend to be superficial. It's probably fine for a weekly but an occasional in depth topic would really help. Thus withholding the fifth star.

App is transparent to the great content!. This periodical is perfect for someone like me, a person with a basic technical understanding who aspires to improve my technique with the equipment I already have. Price is right too for the amount of content in each issue.

Love this!. I heard about it on Facebook and decided to take the free trial for the first five issues. I'm loving every issue! I also enjoy that they get the readers involved on their Facebook page. I am considering a yearly subscription if the rate comes down a little.

Not only informative about photography. This is a great interactive magazine. Makes reading and learning about photography a pleasure. Look forward to each new issue. The videos are an especially good addition to just reading a magazine. Being able to submit photos and participate in the magazine contests is thought provoking and stimulating.

Loving the mag so far. I don't know people are complaining about. I was able to access the first issue free. Then I subscribed and I am on my 3rd free issue. Two more are coming up in the next two weeks. Thank you photography week.

Good information. I like this magazine a lot. Because it is new each week and covers many different topics, it challenges me to look for new and different photography subjects.

Fine Art 4 Amateurs. I have done fairly serious, low budget shooting, employing proven, long established rules of art, such as the rule of thirds, side lighting along with the importance of planning, sturdy tripod when others may be proned to hand-holding and bracketing for 28 years. Now that my old film SLR work is replaced with today's digital power, there are both an adjustment curve and the world of editing images. I don't see the need for every issue. But any aspect of the art a photographer should seek council, Photography Week is a valuable companion. The recent issue on HDR imaging blessed me with fundamentals I intend to carefully begin a new art form in my portfolio. Photography Week, as an app on my "New iPad" is gorgeous. Developers provide hide away tips on example images and removable text over example and cover images. The app works smoothly with modern innovations. Thanks to the writers for their fine instruction, accessible to all students of the art. WELL WORTH THE LITTLE BIT OF MONEY I SPENT FOR THE PUBLICATION.

Like the update!. Before it was difficult to follow along. Now it's much easier. I enjoy my issue every week! Very informative.

Great mag. I have been waiting for this mag to launch and I am not disappointed. The content of the first issue was great and I love all the interactive stuff. Folks be proud of the work you have done. Can't wait to see how this develops.

App stop working. Paid for a year subscription but the app stop working. It will not load up "store" and therefore I can't access issues...that I paid for!!

Horrible. I paid for the Canon Guide book and also for ALL back issues and it took almost 3 days to download the magazines. I have a 125mbps connection so it's not that. The app constantly freezes and restarts downloads. Definitely not renewing my subscription. I emailed their support and never received and answer.

Misleading. It says that you will receive 5 issues free. What it does not tell you is that you must purchase a subscription to receive those 5 issues. It is very misleading. Also, when you try to preview an issue, it will not show it. I was very dissatisfied with this and will be deleting it from my ipad.

Very useful app saw immediate improvements in photos..... I love how I always walk away learning something new from each magazine. I find it more enjoyable to read than regular magazines with its vibrancy and interactive media. My only complaint is sometimes it feels as if there isn't enough content like it could use a few more pages and longer articles. I also can't find an unsubscribe button anywhere! I don't plan on it soon but I rarely go into my iTunes and that's the only way to stop subscription.

Glad my subscription is up next month... Do they actually test drive updates before releasing? It literally takes 10-15 mins and that just takes me to an ad that I have to X out then about another 5 mins to get to the magazines where you then have to download the issue.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. This is a great app and for those screaming fraud, perhaps you should take time to read first. The first five issues are free. You do have to subscribe to one of the plans and then turn off the auto-renew. Unfortunately that is an Apple thing. Give the app and magazine a chance. I kept my subscription due to the great content. I even follow on Facebook. I am an amateur photographer and am learning so much. Also, the app is just fun to use. There is NO FRAUD here and only a small amount of effort is needed on the part of the user to get the free issues. Give it a chance. You will LOVE it. And for those that may think this is a "phony review" take time to look at my history and note that I review many other apps both for the good and bad. Enjoy the app. I sure have and will continue to do so.

Not worth the cost.. Weekly issues are very skimpy on content. Articles are not in-depth at all. Interface is also gimmicky, it's like doing a puzzle to figure out how to read each article. They also plug Photoshop constantly despite the fact that most photographers use Lightroom. Will not be renewing my subscription.

Great if it works. I just stopped my subscription since it doesn't work at all after the recent update. What made it worst was that when I was trying to review my subscription settings the annual rate was less than $30 which wasn't a choice when I started my subscription.

Prize that never come. my friend Christina Santoso has won the Portrait Challenge in January 2014, now it’s March 2014 and the prize is never came to her house the only came to her is just asking for her address, but the prize is never came. what a lame magazine

FRAUD. First, the 5 star reviews here are from the tech support team. FRAUD. Second, they advertise "5 free issues" but make you subscribe to get them, and later unsubscribe. If they believe in their product and want me to try it, just GIVE ME THE 5 FREE issues. If I like them, I will then subscribe. FRAUD No idea if I would like the magazine, because I deleted this app as soon as I smelled a rat.

Weekly Diversion. Week in and week out, I look forward to the release of this short magazine. Often there are helpful tips, reviews and news shorts. The most consistent thing I enjoy is the gallery - readers' pictures that are at least interesting and sometimes inspirational.

Nothing works as advertised.. No five free issues, can't open anything even after subscribing and downloading the one free issue. Can't open any articles. Total waste of time.

Crashes way to often.. Too many corrupt downloads, keep hoping it will get better but it doesn't.

Love the interactive magazine. Pricey but good information aimed at the novice to intermediate users with inspiration to become advanced users. They mix technical with practical advice on improving photography. Like the Digital Camera World as well. Wish it was an American publication.

Won't download. I have a subscription and spend hours and hours trying to get each edition to download. Most of the time it locks up or times out. I cannot get the help tab to open so cannot reach the publisher. I just had to replace my iPad so "lost" all my past issues as I cannot get any of those to download either. Cannot read the magazine offline.

My favorite magazine now won't open. App won't open after last update. Please fix soon. I need my weekly fix.

Good info, but takes forever to download. I do enjoy this magazine, but for somebody stuck on slow internet this takes FOREVER to load. There is absolutely no reason these downloads need to be 400mb or more! I subscribe to other photo magazines on zinio and they are around 100mb tops. Please stop with the HD videos, or give an option of a smaller download size! The UI while reading is also needlessly fussy an annoying. Make the reading areas larger and require less scrolling, it really detracts from the reading experience.

Great app but huge size. I was mystified as to where the space on my iPad was going. This app seems to retain all the data even if issues are deleted so the only way to reduce its size is to delete and reinstall the app regularly, this needs fixing, the app was over 5gb in size! It e sound be great if this was corrected

Focused, timely, relevant guidance for enthusiasts and aspiring amateurs. As the first photography magazine subscription I've ever purchased, each issue of Photography Week focuses on one specific technique, style or creative challenge, which keeps me inspired and motivated to get out and master that week's subject. Monthly photography magazines have often overwhelmed me with possible challenges and assignments in a single issue, and I never find the time to learn all of them. However, Photography Week succeeds perfectly at isolating the myriad of potential subjects to one topic per issue. Photography Week doesn't feel like a magazine. It feels like a photography program at a world-renowned art institute, and I look forward to every issue like the next session of class.

Can't unsubscribe. In order to get the 60-day trail you have to sign up to take a subscription. The monthly is $4.99. I want to cancel that so I will not be charged, but I can't find a link of how to do that. Help me

Great magazine, some bugs in the app. I've been reading this magazine now almost since day one. The magazine is truly unique, and I really like it. However, the app seems to have some sort of memory. As I delete issues, the app continues to hold the same space on my iPad. I find I need to delete the app every few weeks and re-install it or the thing takes over my iPad. I could easily rate this 5 stars if they would fix this issue. Until then, this is a big problem for my 16 GB iPad.

Sloooooow Download. The mag is quite good for a weekly. The content is also quite good, with videos and dynamic content. The only frustrating thing is the painfully slow downloads. It takes at least 1hour to download a new issue, if I keep watching the download. If I switch to another mag, and let this download it in the background it takes forever!!!! I read 10 other magazines on my iPad, nothing takes more than 2 minutes to download, even with larger content. Hence the 2 stars, otherwise I would give it at least 4 stars PLEASE FIX THE DOWNLOAD PROCESS....OTHERWISE I WILL CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION

Looks like a good magazine. Great magazine offer is a good deal when you realize its a weekly magazine.

Great, BUT. Great little magazine but the app needs to be fixed. There is a white band at the top which prevents me from being able to expand some of the articles. I can't tap the buttons at the bottom because they are now too far down and partially hidden. Fix or I'll be unsubscribing.

App is Empty. Bad app! App downloads, no issue showing but offer for five free issues with subscription selection. However, no choices showing, just the tempting offer. I would really love to see the magazine. Email sent to developer, but no reply yet, just a link to an FAQ.

Great magazine. I love this interactive magazine. I have learnt a lot from reading this magazine. A lot of really good information to learn from.

Paid and got not much. I paid for a year and after just a few months want me to pay for it again.

Ideal weekly read for a photographer. I rarely review apps but this one deserves it. The articles are useful and a great read, no fluff. It's full of inspiring images that make me want to get out my camera and go shooting. And last, the compact weekly format is perfect for a busy hobby shooter like me.

Crashes. iPad 2: downloaded preview worked fine. Decided to purchase 2 magazine to see if I was going to really like it. After downloading the two items I will open the app it loads up then crashes immediately. Frustrated bc I bought two mags and was considering a subscription and I haven't been able to read a word. Please send an update to fix this.

Employ some techies please!. The mag is good enough, but no technical support whatsoever. Downloading, if it works, is painfully slow and only works when the app is open thereby rendering your ipad useless for hours on end. If you consider subscribing, my advice would be to wait until they are actually able to deliver a magazine. I get the National Geographic every month and they manage to deliver it seamlessly...

Dead app, no support. Hasn't worked in over a week, can't download new issues. Tried to reinstall app and now I lost old issues as well. Paid for a 52-week subscription, so far 1 week is a complete waste. No support, they don't respond to emails or Facebook messages. I will update the review once the issues are fixed.

Hot and cold weeks. It's great that the magazine comes out weekly. When they ran 'theme' competitions, they really held my attention, especially when I got a shot published. On the down-side, the content is a little 'light' except for the reviews, and the app seems to have a lot of bugs - currently asking me to pay, when I already have a subscription, so I've stopped downloading. I won't be renewing my subscription unless they iron out some of the bugs, and include a 'meatier' article each week - say something on technique.

Too many bugs with latest version. App will not open after latest upgrade. And I was still re-downloading editions very slowly after the previous update. Please fix quickly as the content - when I can get to it - is good.

Photography Week. Last time I updated this App I lost all of my downloads. Hope this time is OK. I was not happy.

Mag Review. I took out a subscription because I enjoy reading the magazine. Sometimes the app plays up asking for more subscription and sometimes the auto download doesn't work. I have submitted photos but have never had any selected but I also don't know that they have been received. Someway of acknowledging receipt would be good. The recent change to the format seems to have left the content a little on the light side. However I really enjoy the weekly fix of all things photographic. Keep up the great work!

Ugh. Slow to load, sparse content. Little if any value. I suggest avoiding. The app itself is laid out to make navigation frustrating. A flick to see the rest of the paragraph and you are propelled to a completely different page.

Photography weekly. Great magazine, very informative well written articles but no way to read the text part offline, which is a pain when one does not have access to full time broadband. One would still need internet to use the great interactive articles.

Great digital magazine. I love this mag, the photography tips, the product reviews, interviews and photos. I'm not sure about the latest update but won't comment until I've checked it out completely. A great digital magazine at a very reasonable price!

Extremely slow to load. I used to love the previous versions until lately, it took more than 5mins to load despite the fact that I have an active account. YES, an active account and yet unable to access the store nor my own library of collection. I am not getting what I have paid much ahead!

Latest update. The program does not open since downloading the latest update on 26 February 2013. Please fix.

great articles. This is a great magazine!

I won't be subscribing again. How many times and how long does it take to download each copy? Who knows? The app keep crashing and starting over. Or just takes an hour or more on my 16mps fast download. Useless.

Great. I did have some issues at first but after I contacted them they fixed the issues. Also they have done many updates that have made it better to view with.

Broken!. Last update broke the app. Otherwise great magazine!

So so. Content is ok, if you ever get it downloaded. I have had to download each of the first two issues at least twice each. Also the downloads take a very long time, and to do it multiple times made me cancel my subscription. It is to bad since the content seems good.

Very low on content. Just drop my subscription. Not much of interest in the new format.

Mag is good, app is SLOWWWWWWW. The content seems to be pretty good. The app is deadly slow! I'm running an iPad 2 with iOS 5 and ouch!!!! They really need to do something with it.

Painfully Slow. This app is beautiful but is so incredibly slow that its painful. Needs to be fixed so downloads don't take forever.

Crash crash crash!. Love the content but since iOS8 the app has become almost unusable. Have had to remove and reinstall several times. And absolutely no response from my request for support.

Techniques, ideas, pre & post processing, it has it all!. Excellent mag, highly recommend it

Awkward APP. The fancy scrolls and up down access to content makes it harder to get to what you're looking for. Sometimes advanced technology works worse. A simple magazine interface that works in other apps would be enough!

Concise and helpful. This e-zine covers a good number if areas of interest including reviews of new equipment, tricks and tips, and some more in depth techniques.

App keeps crashing. First issue after iOS 8 upgrade doesn't open. Keeps on crashing. I've tried restarting iPad and removing the photo week app off newsstand and reinstalling. Still no go.

Crashes. Used to be a great app, but now crashes 50% of the time.

Short on content. PW is nicely priced I and has nice graphics. However, unless you are a beginner you really won't get much out of the content. The how-to article saved and most of the tips are too simple for anyone but beginners. So, unless you want to pay to look at a few nice photos, I suggest you save your money.

I HATE this marketing concept!. Get me to download this form twitter and then use the concept of negative billing. Unless i cancel you bill me. this i not for me so get lost!

crap update. ever since the update, all of my issues have to be re-downloaded, and when i even try to attempt the download, it crashes anyways!

Short and Sweet. A great little magazine. Lessons, inspiration, concise reviews.

Long Download. Beautiful e-mag but long download times. The five free issue deal is confusing to get out of.

Won't open. Down loaded the app which was supposed to give me 5 free copies to review but will not give me the option to open a copy. Shows me the cover of the write up inside but that's about it. You want to charge me $28.00 a year for this mag at least let me see what the content is. Thanks

Informative magazine. Informative, but can get repetitive.

Don't recommend!. Never would download. I wanted to try it before I bought it. Won't buy.

Download time is a deal breaker. I live in South Africa where our ADSL is not the fastest. Nevertheless, it's not THAT bad, but it's taken several days so far to get 50% of one magazine downloaded. So unfortunately, no matter how good the magazine is, it's useless to me.
