Update of update. New November 2019 update wipes out your issues and problems remain after deleting and reinstalling the App. Don’t bother contacting help email. I have not received any replies after numerous emails.

Buggy. Shuts down, freezes randomly. Very touchy, creates bookmarks as you navigate the page. Needs a lot of work.

Subscription lapsed, upon renewal, all back issues gone?. Was under the impression that digital issues one had paid for would never be lost. But upon having to do a factory reset of my iPad, all my back issues were lost and the Uncut app does not see to recognize my log-in history.

First time user. I used the app for the Byrds cover issue and found it relatively easy and fast. No complaints--the graphics are excellent, and moving through the issue was smooth. Hope it continues this way and offers a few extras not in the print format.

Where Are My Issues?. Uncut is great mag but this app can drive you crazy. Recently there was an update and a years worth of issues disappeared. I’ve tried tech support and did all they suggested but still cannot access my paid for issues. What the hell kind of crap is this?!?!

Great !!!!!. I love this app.

Lost all purchases after update. After the latest update, I can no longer access my previously purchased iTunes subscription issues. I have gone through the Restore Purchases process multiple times with no errors reported and deleted and reinstalled the app, but still have no access to any issues.

Boring. Terrible layout - need to zoom in to every page to read it. Loooooong articles about crappy has-been bands. Not worth the subscription.

What Now?. Used to be fine. Now I can no longer access any of my previously-purchased issues. Why? Stay away from this.

Great zine. And no problems w the Mac app.

Low resolution, slow loading. Hard to believe this isn't Retina-ready yet. Ponderous download...you're better off with the (cheaper) Zinio version.

My favorite magazine!!!. I look forward to each month's issue. :c)

Good but could be better. It's great to be able to get this European Magazine quickly and efficiently in America is the best thing about this app. Content Is excellent but the presentation could be so much better with interactive opportunities. I feel that this app could can only get better over time

Great mag, bad app. I've enjoyed content for years but I'm canceling. App won't accept my sign on. No tech support. I'm out

App and support not good. I bought an issue and it was missing two pages. No, I don't know how that happens either. Contacted support and they told me to redownload which I did and that did not fix either. Sooooooo, missing the first 2 pages of the cover story. Moses it hard to read. Also, it takes awhile for the page to display clearly. I like the new price though...but it'd be nice if the whole issue was there.

Awesome Magazine. Horrendous App. Uncut has been my favorite music mag for a long time, but finding on the shelf of the local bookstore or newsstand was always problematic. The app was my salvation...for about three seconds. The app rarely recognizes my subscription, and even when it does I often can't download the new issue until about 10 days after it's first available (kinda defeats the purpose of a subscription). After you download an issue, the reading experience is nothing short of awful. Each page takes about 10 seconds to render, and if you zoom in the text is often fuzzy until it renders a second time (which sometimes doesn't happen at all, so you're stuck with fuzzy text). I'm canceling my subscription and checking out the Zimio experience to see if it's any better.

Great magazine. Excellent magazine (nothing like it here in the U.S.) and the app works fine. Pretty good value too considering you'd have to pay $9 or $10 US per imported hard copy.

Back Issues. With the new update I’ve lost all my back issues and there’s no help or support.

Can’t buy/subscribe. Trying to buy a single issue or subscribe and can’t :(.

Should be pulled. As noted by others, the app has become unusable and has caused me to inadvertently purchase items already purchased. The publisher refuses to assist in the resolution of any problems. Apple should remove the app or force the removal of the app until fixed.

Won't work. I can't get this to open, even though I'm a digital subscriber.

Great mag, outrageous pricing for back issues. I love the magazine. It is your typical English rock mag where, for the most part, you get a story per page. The stories are great and the type is easy to read with great photos. I would buy back issues and subscribe to this magazine if their back issue pricing was fair. Now, with a PHYSICAL magazine, back issues cost more as time goes by because they become more rare, take up space, need to be archived, etc. But there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON WHATSOEVER for these people to charge more money for DIGITAL back issues!!! It is completely outrageous over pricing, and I will not support it in any way. If they make their back issues the same $3.99 price of the current issue, then I will buy it and raise this to 5 stars.

Great Magazine, OK App. Fantastic magazine, but the app is cumbersome to use.

Unusable with iOS 8. iOS 8 is live and the program is useless. No way to restore or access ipad/digital purchase. Signing up for account succeeds (who knows why) but no issues can be accessed. They need real programmers. The content is great if and when you can read it.

Clapton interview. could not find the print issue locally so purchased with my iPad Air...EC interview well worth the price of the issue -- will definitely check out the rest of the magazine.

Great content, needs better navigation. I've been reading Uncut Magazine since it's inception. It's honestly my favorite music magazine out there. And though the electronic version looks great on the iPad, there's no navigation or TOC to get around to different parts the magazine. I hope this is something that they improve upon in the near future.

So Glad This Type of Writing Still Has a Place Live!. The best Rock rag going. There used to be many options for this type of journalism. Uncut is one of the few left. This along with Mojo are the only ones to get it fight anymore. 100% music coverage, great record reviews, great artist profiles, great pictures both new and archived. Subscribe to this thing. My only beef….why not include a digital download of the months music sampler? Let’s all cheer the return of Creem!

New Update Wiped Out My iTunes Subscription Copies. The November 2019 update completely wiped out my subscription with iTunes. None of those issues are available anymore. I’ve tried restoring 20 times to no avail. It only restores the Special issues that I previously purchased through the app. A complete disaster of an update. So mad!!!

Great music coverage. In print and on iPad, Uncut excels...

Avoid. I like the mag but the app is worthless. Constant troubles signing in and zero support from Apple or the publisher. Think twice, even if you're a fan of the mag.

Close, but not quite. I love Uncut Magazine, and have been a print subscriber for years... and I had high hopes for their first foray into iPad... however, it's not quite there. The text is not optimized for the new iPad's retina display, so text is jagged. You can't easily zoom in on a page (no pinch-to-zoom) -- you have to double-tap for a zoom to occur -- and your double-tap better be quick. I prefer to be able to pinch to zoom to my desired enlargement. I think this will be a much better app when they update to correct these two flaws.

UNCUT. One of the most exiting music magazines. Uncut has been my rocknroll teacher since 2007. You'll stay in touch with the latest musical trends plus great articles from historic moments in music. Also there is, in every issue, like 15+ pages of reviews. Including new and reissue albums. There is also space for the latest great movies and books. If you are musically open minded this is your music mag. There are other mags that care more about image (posers). Not this one! Classic and classy. This is it.

Totally Aware. If you love music and want to stay current this is the mag for you. I love information on any subject of interest and this app will fill your mind with facts and more facts about the most interesting and talented people on the planet.

Bad Tech Support. I have tried to contact tech support but they don’t answer my emails. I’m trying to open the content that says you need a subscription to read. I set up my subscription but still can’t access the content. Luckily there is a 30 day trial period. I will cancel if I don’t hear anything back.

New app won’t allow access to subscription issues. Old app worked great. New app not so much.

My review. As a near 65 year old...too much repetition. Look at your covers and their related stories per annum: about 50% are the same over and over whether tied to a publicist’s tie-in to some re-issue or otherwise. Notwithstanding the attempted irony in your lead-ins there’s only so many times I can read about one’s “theories on politics and religion” (a nod there to R.D. Davies) If it weren’t for the reviews allowing this elder geezer a chance to hear what’s new out there I’d drop you like a bad habit. And hey, for those of us who receive this rag digitally....WHERE’S MY FREE MUSIC?!? Love & kisses. LF

Great content...but. Fantastic content, especially music reviews unfortunately the app design is essentially a PDF and very clunky to work through.

Uncut. Great magazine. The online version is very buggy. Currently it's stuck in a loop asking for a review but not letting me get back to the magazine.

Vernita Ward. I have known about Rolling Stone Magazine for many years and their reputation for the outstanding writing quality by their journalists for many years.

app update blows. After this update — newowner? — all downloads deleted. Restoring one issue at a time is painfully slow.

Lost issues. After the recent app upgrade, I started using this app and only 4 issues restored. I have years of magazines that I lost. HELP! UPDATE: Uncut restored all my back issues. I’m a fan again!

Uncut App Crashing, no support link. App is crashing on loading, and the support link on the App Store is not working 404 not found.

App is too buggy. You think you are getting a deal because in the US this magazine costs $10 (but you get a CD) and you can download the magazine for $4, but that would be $4 wasted. Trying to read the magazine on line is just too frustrating. Some pages are blurry and never clear up.. App frezes. If you like this magazine, and it is one of better ones, forget the app and just buy the darn thing.

Great magazine. Mediocre app. It used to be easy to access past purchases and but new issues. Now, however, it won’t allow for new purchases. Irritating and frustrating.

Great writing, but.... This is nothing but a .pdf. Difficult to read on an iPad and worse on an iPhone... Still - the best music journalism out there.

Great magazine. I'm glad they've ported over to the iPad. Hope they start using multi-media capabilities. Still, content is always first-rate.

Love magazine, app not so much. Doesn't update new issues or recognize my subscription

Uncut, mojo, q. Simply the best!

Excellent. So far so good. No problems. Would recommend if your considering. .

Great mag but very basic app.. Fast download and clear reading even on an iphone. But no added features such as ability to bookmark a page or save av article.

Recent update crashes the app. I can’t get in. Somebody help. Please.

New app a flop. Restored purchases required . . . did so, but still can't access previously purchased issues I.e. It prompts me to purchase them again and locks me out of them.

Tricky to get started. Getting the app sorted was tricky and tiresome but once I was in it works well. The display platform works well on my phone. While I did experience some difficulties getting started, when I emailed tech support they were prompt and helpful. And of course the magazine is terrific as usual

Ok. Real disappointment that the traditional free cd is not included in this format.

Uncut - The Band issue. It's basically a photocopy of the magazine - minus the first two pages of copy (pages 38 & 39) of the cover story on The Band's Music From Big Pink (the reason I bought it). The best publications will be full electronic versions of their print relatives - with audio recordings, movies, picture galleries and more, like urls to sites with more or related info. This isn't there yet. One thing that's right is the price, $3.99. Previous issues at $6.99 are too steep for simple scans of the magazines without the CD.

MR. Great articles and reviews, but awkward to use. In each issue one page loads but changes quickly to a questionnaire page asking for your personal info. Even after filling in and submitting the info the page will not load to allow you to read it. If I purchase the magazine I should not have to submit this.
