Relaxing and fun game but....... I gave it 4 stars only because even if the game is fun and relaxing it needs alot of work still. They need to update it by giving us humans and natural disasters. Wouldn't it be nice having a volcano that erupts or hurricanes and even rain storms? If we are all paying for this game then the least you can do is update the game.I hesitated it to buy it but i have high hopes they will have a major update soon. Please listen to us!!!!

Love it but. I truly love this game but one thing is it's not that realistic I mean where are the wolf packs etc. I would absolutely love if you could add people where they live in tribes and build towns, if they should happen to stumble across another tribe maybe they go to war or maybe they remain allies. Thank you and I hope to see all of these improvements in the future:))

Game is awesome!. This game is awesome because it feels like I am the god of my own pocket worlds! Here are some suggestions to put in the game: Natural Disasters You should be able to cast tornadoes, tsunamis, all that fun stuff. Add Humans/Tribe It would be fun if you added humans that were like tribal people. They could hunt whatever gets in their way. Flat Map Add maps so you can see your overall world. It gets hard to see sometimes. Add game modes such as: Challenging (you have to build a world that meets different conditions every time) War (Humans(if added) can be diplomatic and can declare wars and settle treaties) Last suggestion: Make animals more realistic like, birds eat fish and tikes eat pinos food chain sort of thing. Instead of fictional animals add earth animals besides fish and birds! Keep up the good work!🙂🙂

Incomplete and Unbalanced. While it looks pretty and the landscape-building features are creative, the game feels incomplete. There are no objectives, the controls are clunky, and the menus are convoluted. The game's only mechanic outside of shaping landscapes -a food chain between animals- is incomplete and unbalanced. Predators seem to run amok and procreate without any check on their growth. Birds, as well, have no enemy and multiply almost exponentially. The game also seems to be missing features. Only one map is available (scrawled with weird logos and a tutorial for a part of the game that doesn't exist) and there are no preset scenarios as advertised. This is an incomplete game that offers no replay value after the novelty almost immediately wears off.

Love it!!. This game is amazing! It would be great if you could have houses and people and run the world in realistic way and decorate people and houses it would also be fun if you could go inside the world and make a town and map and stuff... but otherwise it is amazing! Please consider using these update features...!

More work to do. I like the basic idea, but this game still needs a lot of work. The plant and animal options are far too limited. Predators kill prey faster than they can reproduce. Birds kill all the trees and nothing keeps them in check. Ideally it should be possible to build a balanced ecosystem. It's a good start and has a lot of potential. Hopefully future updates will add some complexity to what is now frustratingly simple.

Updates!. This game is nice. You can just sit down and mold the world for hours, or create large animal herds. With that being said though, this game really needs updates. I now a lot of people how would play this game if the AI was better and there were more animals. A lot of people want humans. But, things need fixed first too. Like how the trees don't grow back and the birds don't die and only eat trees. Fish don't eat anything or breed and don't have any predators. Birds don't have predators either. P.s. This game is great just try to update it more often! I thing that it, with enough updates, could be very popular.

Pretty awesome....but.... This app works great for macro simulation but lacks the specificity required for micro manipulation. The following would be very helpful in an update: weather patterns, structures (like castles, huts, walls, etc), more detailed/specific geological features (waterfalls, jungle plants, rocks/stones) and, of course, humans. All in all, insanely worth the two dollars it costs.

Good, but.... I enjoy this game, and I’m willing to be patient with updates. If I were to suggest anything it would be the ability to create roads, or defined pathways. Having humans in the game would be nice, as well as the ability to change the weather. 4/5 only because this feels somewhat unfinished, I think the game should include more to do. For what it’s worth, it’s a satisfying game to play.

Dinosaurs. So although i dont play the game much and almost hate all the animals you should add more animals like dinosaurs, sharks, humans. Also why not make it so you can evolve in civilitaion like when humans lived for a long time then they can go forward and become pioneers but keep the dinosaurs for fun.

Should be free.. I would rate it less than one star if I could. For the amount of things you can do it should be free. Spawn animals that don't die, spawn predators that kill all the other animals. Every tree you create dies. Birds multiply like no other and swarm the whole planet. You literally can get the whole jist of this game in 2 minutes. The description makes it sound a whole lot better than it is.

AWESOME but could have some more work. I LOVE this game but I feel like there’s not enough variety it would be awesome if you could add more creatures it would also be awesome if the creatures could evolve depending on the environment into creatures you could only get threw specific evolution it could also get even better if you could have lava and ice so there could be creatures that adapt to that area and things like that with the weather things like natural disasters could really spice things up

Awesome game!!. I have been searching for a game like this for awhile now, and you have no idea how excited I was when I found this! I really enjoy this game, and it is TOTALLY worth the two dollars, so if you are unsure about this app, stop thinking and buy it. You will not be disappointed. However, I do have a few suggestions (there's always room for improvement, right?). First things first, I think that there should be an option for a blank world, so it starts out as all water, and you can create your own islands. Second, I think that there should be people (which I saw that you are adding already. Yay!!). But I don't think that the people should be, I don't know, modern? I think that I would enjoy the people more if they were actually a part of the food chain, and didn't take over the world. And last but not least, is there a way for you to delete your worlds? If so, I haven't found it, so you could make it a little easier to find. If not, I would love to be able to do that😊 Anyway, I absolutely LOVE this game, and if you just add these few things, I will give it the fifth star it deserves. Keep up the awesome work guys!!!

Very very good sandbox game, but. Love the game, all around awesome but a few things that bother me is there is no food chain for the birds they don't even eat the fish the crocs never die so they become way over populated in one area and don't roam the world. Also I wish I was able to make a stable world that has both predators and herbivores it seems like the predators either become way to massive or the herbivore herds become so big that all the carnivores just die eventually. I can't wait to see what they will do with humans just hope it doesn't take forever for them to release, but over all awesome sandbox all around worth getting, O and the trees don't regenerate like the grass so the one herbivore that feeds off trees just die out and never really get huge herds. Birds also eat the trees making it even more hard to keep poips out. I think if they added a designated breeding ground zone for both herbivores and carnivores that kept the opposite out it would make a more stable environment but they would have to make it very small or make the world a bit larger also they would have to make it that the few carnivores that stay at the breeding ground to reproduce don't have to kill to do so and won't starve from not being able to hunt in that short time like they usually do. Idk just an idea but good game great potential

I was expecting more... I'm happy with it, don't get me wrong. It's great to plink around with when you're bored and such but there is so much more that can be done with this game! The land is very basic. I'd like to see desert options, volcanos, caves ect. Oceans and rivers should be selectable to create more detailed reefs and underwater terrain. More plant life and other 'decor' options...Should have the option to set weather patterns as well. Animals could be more realistic so can the plant life...perhaps the more basic creatures evolve the longer the world is played?? Predators multiply faster than the pray and some other mechanics are off (as mentioned by other players). There are several reviews that make note of what I said and elaborate much more on the subjects (so I'm not going to repeat what they say lol). Overall, the game is good. Worth a buck ninety nine? Not quite yet but I'm glad I got it!

Where's the real humans and animals?. I think they should make real animals and humans, so you can design their house and make them grow, also They should fix how land animals die as they touch water, also carnivorous just kill kill kill and they never stop I think they should stop kill for a while.

Great but....... I think this is a great game but the only problem. I can’t figure out how to change the time? Help please. Ok so I figured it out (half a year later) and I still love this game. I have one question. WHY DID YOU ABANDON IT? IT HAS GREAT POTENTIAL THAT YOU CAN STILL USE?!? It seems like you do this with all you’re games. I bet you aren’t even ever going to read this. Probably. And if you are, check how long ago it was written. The game it’s self is great, but please more updates. This is the game I have always wanted, perfect for me, honestly I think there should be more games like this. Update please.

wow!. the game iS AWESOME but can get boring, I know you are working on it but I think it would be cool to be able to customize a species or one creature of a species, and have an opposition bar that says if you want the species to stay together or go alone, and you can change the color or what it eats, maybe a wolf is a vegan so it's a out cast, but gets taken in by sheep, then it protects them, and new biomes that you can draw on to the world, but what if I want a ravine or a sink hole or a cave, well maybe when you dig down water wouldn't just appear, like actually add water Physics and you could fill up holes you made or just pour it on the land, and I think you should make a setting how big your planet is, like small is how it is now, medium and large, please consider these ideas

Awesome! But....... I love this game but, where are the humans? Can the humans hunt carnivores and herbivores? Can the humans build villages? Can the children of the humans play by themselves without following their parents? Can there be monkeys or rhinoceros? Can there be natural disasters? Can the humans be pregnant? Please answer my questons?

Some ideas. Great game! but I have some ideas to make it better! Maybe the crocs could be carnivorous and eat the fish. Also add so that the carnivores don't hunt like a lot of people are suggesting. Also I think you could add natural disasters and maybe bigger planets.

Needs improvement. I absolutely love this game and the idea behind it. The prey of the game shouldn’t be able to fight back and kill off the predators as well as the predators should have a pack mentality so they aren’t killed off so easily. The trees should be self regenerating so the animals that live off of them can’t and won’t die out. I think it should be added that areas that are far enough away from water should turn into desert like land but I also think it should be an interchangeable option if you want this in the game or not. If you’re going to add humans to the game, it’d be interesting to see them be able to evolve to their surrounding areas and utilize predatory animals as well as the prey. Over all, I like the idea behind it and I hope you would take these ideas into consideration

The dev is still active on AppStore. Still making new games yet has abandoned this game which could of been a gem of a game but was left bare.. Why not make a new one & put it on Apple Arcade like u did with skyfish ! Love this game happy it still works but there is so much that can be done with newer devices new features style & such PLEASE UPDATE IT, OR release a new one gladly would jump buy if it’s premium no subscription & works offline.

Definitely Get it! But.... This app is great fun, and has many easy-to-use tools. Fun, creative creatures replace some of the basic "Earthly" critters. This app has a little ways to go, but most definitely shows great potential! If you you think of yourself as creative and you enjoy the outdoors, you will certainly have fun "playing god" in this app. I recommend it entirely, and believe that it is worth the small charge. Note for Creator: As I said, this app is awesome. Great work! However, as many other users have stated, there are many things that could be added to improve upon this game. It is very enjoyable as is, but there is definitely room for improvement. Summary: Great app! Some things could change for the better, but great app!

4.9 stars. All i say is it needs a flaten tool to make it easier to flaten land and a animal maker also a way to become one of the animals or a person and live on your planet could be cool but other wise great app cool concept amazing

I know its a bit late. It seems like you guys aren’t updating anymore, I understand that, but at least come back and make birds starve without food and some needed small fixes like natural growth please ): I used to love this as a kid and I love the potential it had more now that I’m older

Great game but. First off no food chain, second, the carnivores should have a limit of how much they can kill for a certain amount of time, third, there should be certain things that defend themselves and others that run, fourth more fish like creatures, fifth bigger creatures like dinosaurs, and sixth natural disasters

Favorite app?. I really love this app and it has entertained me for hours... However it needs some updates! For instance the crocodiles don't die and the fish don't do anything... Make the trees self replenish so that the tree reliant creatures don't die off!

Population control needs improvement. This is a great time killer, my only gripe is the population of animals can spread ridiculously fast. I know there's a "kill all animals" option but it'd be nice if there was a "kill all -insert animal name here-" option. Or for a wild card destructive experience an option for bigger lightning strikes that can start fires or a meteor that changes the shape of the land based on size and kills what it lands on with a small shockwave. Keep up the good work!

Great game. So I love this game but I'm kind of hoping for evolution for animals and humans that get smarter through out time and build buildings and stuff so like they start out as cavemen then get smarter from there and build skyscrapers and empires you know?

WUH DUHAL MOONCRESCENT!!!!!!. Love this game but the issue is where the hell are the updates, WE NEED MORE ANIMALS, I'm very disappointed that their aren't no new animals and plus they die very easily which is really sad same for the plant life, I been having this game for a few months now and wishing a strong and good update but none happen feel like the to not care about it anymore very disappointing , at least add some freaken dinosaurs yo, theirs like barely any animals WUH DUH HAIL!!!!!!!

Good concepts poor execution.. I don’t know why I’m making this review. Maybe to help others in not buying the game or hoping some one will get the rights and continue this promising project of a game. The developer got his money for the game and scrambled leaving an unfinished work that had so much potential. I deleted this game 4 years ago and I would think about it often. I love work builder games and this one looks great and has amazing AI and terraforming of the planet. This game could’ve been awesome with other more intelligent AI like humans or some other alien.

Nice try. I like the game it's really fun......but I was expecting to make my own animals....plz use the same sort of concept of the game spore....like how you can make your own creatures in it....also plz update the trees so that they don't die so easily.....but this is a good game overall....its just that I have a feeling it can be better👍🏻

potential. great game, crazy potential, needs updates. Here are my suggestions that would really help this game. First off just time, the game is simulated way to fast, you put down a predator and it instantly sprints to go eat a prey, please slow the process down maybe have feeding time or something like that, also a predator without food dies within 30 seconds plz make that longer as well, this would give us more time to enjoy the game and not worry about putting down so many animals, next idea is if predators would fight, that would be cool it happens in real life so it would be epic seeing a rare occasion where 2 predators in the game fight, would be even more cool if the winner would be a surprise that would keep it so interesting, next is the ocean plz put more animals in there im excited to see whats next for the ocean i would like to see sharks and maybe dolphins, the most important update i would like to see is the time situation, predators fighting predators (only sometimes), and more animals like sharks hawks tigers and things like that, would also be cool if there were more things to edit the world with but plz all this game needs is some updates and it would be epic so plz hurry edit- congrats you have a game with unlimited potential and were to lazy to do anything, dont worry someone else will take this idea and reach its potential

Kinda boring, but fun. It has only a few problems, but the animals are not even real (except for crocs and fish) and very few options. It like has no mistakes in the game but very few features. It is kinda fun, but boring at the same time.

I support Topia with 5 deserving stars--. The more support this game gets from the players, the better updates we will have in the future. I have been waiting for this title to be released and I'm so glad to own it on my iPhone! I am very pleased with the look and feel of the game. The controls are simple enough, you don't really need much of a Tutorial to get started (although I'm glad it was there to follow). Any Strategy, RPG or Achievement features in future updates will absolutely have continued support from me. This title sets itself apart from all other games released in the App Store. Great work, Crescent Moon and Glenn Corpes! [EDIT] Crescent & Corpes, Just take a step back to previous releases (such as Topia World Builder) and polish them off a tad bit more ;) Topia is analogous to an unfinished sculpture that shouldn’t take too much effort to polish, but it would be great if the imbalances everyone is mentioning are tweaked. Put your mind to it and create a balance between all ecology. Do that, and players can REALLY create their world and watch it thrive. [ADDENDUM] I’m so happy to see another update on this game. Starting it up right after the update finishes (!) Let’s see how the changes and updates play...

Great game, but needs updates 🌲. I am I big fan of sandbox games, such as this one. You get to create large mountains and oceans with the touch of your finger. You get to spawn a few creatures, which each have characteristics. Such as, one is a carnivore that runs very swiftly and with a small frame, but the other is chunky like a hippo with large fangs. But, this game needs a few updates. For some reason, whenever I put down 🌲s, they die. I don't get this, but all my giraffe like animals die. They always die out, and never thrive. Another thing is animal population. The sheep and cow like creatures always thrive in great numbers, which makes them invasive. They eat all the grass, which leaves me with a bare world. The carnivores help, but they will eat all the herbivores, then, in two seconds after there gone, they die. Then I have no animals. Please fix that. I also want some thing to eat the birds. The birds are way to invasive, and I have a way too much on my world. The fish aren't a problem, they don't invade too much. Then main problem is the animals, but building the world runs smoothly and works perfectly. Overall, the app is pretty fun. Get this app 😺

Absolutely Amazing. I have had this game for YEARS and have never grown tired of it. I wish I'd see more updates, but it's amazing just the way it is. It has the most potential of any free mode games on the App Store I can promise you that. Love love love it. But srsly... An update would be nice.

Bugs. The Poips don't reproduce as quickly as the other herbivores. The Crocs get stuck on land and the birds kill the trees and breed too quickly. Zapper doesn't work in water. Also, add civilized life of some sort. Perhaps a season maker. Pine and Palm trees are reset to to oak when you load up a saved file, it's annoying.

Topia world builder Needs more land animals. You need to add more land animals from carnivores to more herbivorous creatures they need a lot of biodiversity like in real life more herbivorous animals and some carnivorous animals and maybe add some intelligent humanoids alien species and make a civlization

Great!. I love this game it's so fun to build mountains and rivers I can't wait till you add humans that will be awesome! You should add bushes and you should be able to control the weather too like make it rain and have an earthquake and make it snow you guys should also add a animal that is big kinda like elephant or a dinosaur and also try to add a way to just start out with a blank planet so you can start from scratch add these things and if will be perfect

Needs updates. Gets very boring due to the animals really just running around eating and dying. Not much else to do. Need to stop having predators kill 24/7. Make it realistic.

Species of Higher Intelligence. It's a very good game and very creative. However, it needs some kind of species similar to humans so we can watch them evolve and build cities. A species of higher intelligence would really make this game the best.

A relaxing, yet lacking experience. Been playing this game for a while now, it still holds true to itself even years later. Such a fun, thrilling little experience. The game really should be updated though, it has a lot of open and loose ends to tie that could really make the experience a whole lot more amped up. That aside, it’s a ton of fun. Taught me a lot about how to construct abstract and natural looking environments. Simple yet visually appealing. Very beautiful and smooth day and night cycles. The UI is easy to navigate and world building is simplified well enough. I’d say it’s overall flaw would be that it’s lacking. It’s really just a first hand experience at shaping lands, nothing more. I still wish for the day this game gets major changes. It’s a nice thing to play around with when you’re bored. Great game! So much fun even years after it’s release.

Great game but it needs more. I love topia don't get me wrong but I think the game would be a lot better if there where more animals to pick from, Trees that spread through the land instead of having to place them. Some animals that I think you should add are big animals, like some thing the size of a elephant, I would also love to see some type of animal that builds huts and is like a tribe or civilization. Any way it's just my opinion on what would make the game better, I would to see them added.

Great but needs updates. This game is really good and has patently with a few good updates as in better realism and they should add in more creatures like dinosaurs! You should control more stuff to like tide, waves, and storms. There should be natural disasters to as in volcanos, tornados, and more. Finally I have been wondering why do birds destroy trees, why are alligators indestructible, and why are carnivores so hungry?

Please bring it back with updates. This game is crazy fun!!! It would be really cool if you guys added more animals and had the predators fight each other. Also giving the animals longer life spans would be great! Please come back and update this game. It would be crazy fun to play this game with even more opportunities to spawn different animals and plants.

Bad Game. This game is a waste of time and money. It looked interesting and it was ok to start but soon became an effort in futility. The creatures are non sustaining. Some of them have predators who will hunt and kill them and some will die when they have no resources. But some like the birds will just mass produce until they take over. I was looking for a building type/resource management game and this was not it! If that is what you are looking for then do not get it.

Great idea, but.... This is a wonderful game, I absolutely love it and the idea behind it. It's so much fun to spawn in a massive amount of herbivores and then a couple carnivores and watch the herbivores swiftly die out as the carnivores multiply. But through doing this I've noticed that there are some things that should be changed. The crocodiles don't ever die, and I haven't yet seen an herbivore kill one yet. Same thing with the birds, they fly around and destroy all the trees, but nothing can keep their populations in check. I think carnivores should definitely be less aggressive, but they should also try to hunt down other carnivores, as well as a carnivorous bird that will eat the other birds and can be eaten by ground carnivores. And as mentioned by others, I think the idea of "people" would be great! So long as it doesn't turn into a spore/sims mashup :P

Game needs to be realistic. This game concept is truly amazing!!! The trees need to be self spawning so the creatures that depend on them don't die out. Also the the creatures in the game should all be interconnected by the food chain and the wolf like carnivores should have a pack mentality so it is more realistic. Also the carnivores need to be less aggressive so they don't kill off all their food, and the herbivores should not beable to kill predators they should run. Also if you happen to put in humans I think they should be like caveman , live in tribes up in the mountains and they come down to hunt and can hunt basically anything they run into. Also the birth rate of humans should be significantly slower but they should be stronger and more resilient. Also if you decide to put in natural disasters like tsunamis or plague that would be cool. The plague could originate from bacteria which is essential to life and is something you have to place In order to have any life on your planet. ( of course the plague ratio would be slim and not common but possible, and would be spread when animals came in contact and there could be certain plagues that certain animals are immune too, predators would most likely be immune so as to kill the sick. I love the game and hope you take these ideas for the most part and incorporate it into the game.

Fantastic app!. I love this app. The graphics are great, the utilities are awesome, and the user friendliness of it is just superb. I am in the early development stages for a novel I am writing and have drawn several maps for the world it is about. This app allowed me to bring my world to a 3D format, so that can finally see it in, sort of, a real world look. It has also allowed me to make some alterations and small changes to my world, that will bring more depth to the story. That being said. I would love to see some small changes that will allow for more natural wonders in the worlds created with this app. For instance, the option to use different weather patterns, the ability to add bodies of water to different elevations and waterfalls, volcanoes, glaciers, and snow covering for atop high mountains, to name a few. (Obviously, I would also like to see humans.) This app deserves a 5 star rating so far... in my opinion, however, I would love to see new options and changes, to make it even better for future play.

Disappointing.... Had I known 6 months ago that the only updates I would ever see would be compatibility issues... I would have saved my money instead of supporting this developer. I dare anyone to say they played this for more than an hour without getting bored and expecting more.... Such a good engine... Such a sad waste.

Great fun..lots of potential!. Easy controls make moulding the earth satisfying. A bit boring after awhile because theres not a lot to do after you have finished moulding...its a little bit aimless. Could do with sea creatures, dinosaurs, plants, trees, volcanoes and definetely the ability to control the ecosystem, change the climate and make disasters like earthquakes, comets & tsanamis. The save game system fails big time.... I want to be able to load where i finished off......!

Humans. It's fun and worth the dollar BUT like other people said there should be people that build a society hunt and die off slowly and natural disasters ( fires and earthquakes) then this game would be so much better I would pay an extra 2-3 dollars for it if it was a bit more expanded on and make it so there is small medium and large worlds so you can fit more things like bigger oceans valleys and mountains

Great idea! Keep updating. Its a good idea for a game. You could do much more though. There are many problems and animals breed to fast and dont stop running at each other. I think this should be more life like and slow things down. With an explorer mode that lets you explore your world and walk amongst the wildlife. And the SANDBOX WORLDS DONT SAVE!!! Must fix that, or if there is like some secret way of saving then make it more obvious. Its a good idea for a nice relaxing, creative game. Good job!

Has potential for so much more. Is an absolutely gorgeous app but despite the lovely graphics the entertainment factor wears away very quickly. You basically build a world and put some basic animals on it but that's as far as it goes. It would be great if certain actions you performed like continental shifts, etc, could cause natural disasters or a sudden increase in heat destroys a population of animals as they've adapted to the cold only, or even plague spreads. Having humans on it would be very good, also the ability to divide the map up into more manageable quadrants as the spinning back and forth can leave you a bit lost. Also there is amazing potential to develop the undersea factor too with undersea creatures, even mythological creatures, etc. Generally good but would be even better if it was developed further.

New update. Love the new update, the new landscaping tool will prove for some interesting builds and the saving system looks a lot better, I can't wait to get creative and build some worlds

THIS IS SOSOSOSO COOL. This is the simulation game I've always dreamed of! Or the start of it anyway! Two big suggestions though, could you have a feature where the user can design their own species, and also could you have a way to build planets out of other materials (e.g. Boron, Gold, etc.)?

Ergh. I was hoping for more control, the ability to create animals and plants... All you can do is make a world and let it run wild... You don't have control over the weather, and you can't fight the elements either... It's like you have to much control for it to be a challenge, but to little control to be a beautiful sandbox... 'Regret spending money on this game it's just bad.

This game is better then minecraft and any world builder game but maybe add more opinions but that's it if your looking to buy a good game buy this one the graphics are perfect and defently worth the 2 dollers best game ever it's not addicting which is good and it's actually really cool defently recamend it to evryone well back to the game

Has great potential.. This game has great potential. The breeding thing is a little too fast. Predators over populate making herbivores go extinct. Birds get stuck over the ocean and hopfully sea creatures get added. And the land animals seem to drown themselves. Overall this game is great with a few bugs and I believe this game could be great in the future updates hopfully.

Great game but needs humans. Topia is a great game but it needs more stuff. Humans who could build villages and cities then advance in eras would be great with different tribes who attack each other and hunt dinosaurs for food.

World builder. This game has amazing potential and could go very far with a some updates. It needs more customizations such as trees, rivers, plants e.t.c. Haven't downloaded yet, but. This app looks wonderful! The idea is beautiful and creative and I bought it simply to support clever ideas like this! Further updates will make this amazing! Hopefully by supporting the developer by buying this, it will get the updates the app deserves!

Brilliant. I really like the game, and it is fun and easy to use. Would be better if the interface was a bit better and there were more options for creatures and landscapes. Would also be good if the planets wouldn't glitch and not save. Keeping it would be appreciated

Lacking in...... Some sort of organised game play. Real world physics (prey attacks till nothing left, birthing of predators out strips prey births) While the graphics are good, it really needs something to keep you occupied, you can put down 100 "prey animals" and 1 predator and in no time flat they are all gone. While simple to use with large icons it will keep a 5 year old amused for an hour or two but anyone older will get bored with it fairly quickly. Designers will have to pull their collective fingers out to make it more interesting otherwise a good idea will end up in the apps waste basket.

Closest game to populous I could find. I really like the game it would’ve been nice to be able to play before I bought it not that I regret my purchase however will there be any future additions such as either PVP or because the sandbox gets a bit boring after awhile maybe another type of gameplay such as PVP / PVE / natural disasters or perhaps even humans settlement,The engine that the game is designed on is nice and smooth and workable I believe with additions such as I mentioned above it could be a really awesome game that would appeal to a lot of different gamers

Okay but needs fixing. I enjoyed playing it for the first half an hour then I went and did something but my world didn't save and I got really annoyed so I think they need to work on saving the game so everything else was awesome except for the bad save option.

Humans. Ok, great game so far, but a few things this game needs is, a larger animal limit, humans or an evolution rate, and larger height limit, also remove the water 'layer' when you go down far enough water will appear, remove that... Other then that it's a perfect game.

Average. Fun for about 5 minutes. Needs something to actually do in it. Would be great with people and a food chain so animals only prey on certain other animals, that way spawning two predators doesn't wipe out the total population of all species because the predators multiply too fast with nothing that eats them.

Good app, not many tools. Hi. Ok, so I think this app is awesome, being you can create a whole new world/s, I half and half recommend this app because for 2 reasons. Positively I think this game is very creative but there is limited tools. I am glad I bought this because it is an amazing game but I wish there were more things you can do for instance, have people - create families, build houses on your world. Otherwise good app and hopefully there will be an update with some exciting new tools. :)

Great!!!. This game was lots of fun and probably the best game ive played but i think there should be more animals and you should be able to control groups of animals than 1 but the control was still awesome

Terraform doll housing :) Perfect. .. Except no save!!?. Ok, I know this is just a stepping stone toward a bigger and greater game. But I love the sandbox stage :) I love doll housing, and I love terra forming so the 2 come together nicely here .. BUT & it's a big but. I spent 2 hours on ONESIDE of my world, intricately making this awesome place. Only to come back later to do more and NOTHING has been saved!!? I can watch a replay of what I did .. Great .. But then I have to sit there for 2hrs until it get s to where I'm up to, cause then u have the option to "take control" but if u go PAST where you were up to for a second .. You have to watch all over again to get to where you want. I mean come on!!? I was SOOOO excited to hear there was an update to fix the save .. But it seems I already have the update, ALTHOUGH it still says 1.0 on the start up screen .. Oh PLEASE clear this up. I'm sure there are many like me who REALLY want to see this grow and evolve. Or at least make the sandbox a little more challenging. But PLEASE fix the save bug .. Or make it clearer HOW to save and load please. I love crescent moon games and I'm loving this .. But I can't play it til it saves :(

Good Game, recommended.. This is a good game when it comes to creation and using your imagination, I highly recommend it to creative users. It would be better if there were people to civilise the world. I can figure out how to save the worlds I create. Other than that its a good game for creation.

It's just not wright. Neat idea. Could be a fabulous game but at the moment is very simple and isn't "big" enough. Would be awesome if it gave you a sense of the grand scale of what your trying to create. More features, much bigger planets, truly vast herds of creatures, and I'm willing to pay!

At the moment good. This has so much potential it's not funny, if anybody here's heard of populous or the sexual coming out that was on kickstarter this could be that if this had 3 things 1. People that built settlements, mined, hunted, etc 2. Bigger planets for more freedom and room for PEOPLE 3. Maybe a multiplayer feature where you play god with each other and you have to destroy each others people. A fantastic start to something big!. Topia has a way to go before it realises its true potential, but as of now, it is a firm and friendly set of tools. Mould and make your ideal planet with ease, create mountains and rivers with the swipe of a finger. Add and direct herds of herbivores and carnivores, watch their numbers deplete or multiplayer. Topia is going to be something special. Right now, it's a cool experiment just begging to be developed further.

I think it's a good game. But It need's more!. I like playing this game for like 5 mins then I'm bored. I would like to see more this game has great plot and could become better. You should add, 1. humans that interact with the land. 2. A bigger world. 3. more animals. 4.More land types. Etc swamp. 5.ocean animals. 6. I think I would be good to see humans hunting animals building villages gaining tech. More villages trade sets in, farming hunting fishing trade tech different civilisations. Other than that you guys/girls are doing a good job. But I could be better.

Everything I Need. I’ve had this game before and i’ve deleted it too, but either way, it is amazing! Its beautiful, simple and fun! The soundtrack in the background is amazing too, it’s relaxing and nice! All in all, i couldn’t ask for more!

Great App. Nice app with loads of potential for the developer to blow our minds with updates in futures. Kids love it... So do I. Agree with others that weather, natural disasters and perhaps humans would really bring this app to life.

Good but needs tweaking. This is an excellent little simulator. The only problem with it at the moment is that the predators are over powered. If you place one predator on a world full of herbivores it will kill and breed so fast that it will take over the whole world until it runs out of food and dies out leaving an empty planet. This is just a balance problem and could be fixed with a tweak or, maybe allow the gamer to adjust the breeding rate and hunger rate of the animals. Over all a nice start.

More updates. This app has real potential if they update it more.

On track. This app is fun but I think that there needs to be people who can civilise themselves, build houses and hunt, volcanoes or other natural disasters that can wipeout whole civilisations. Also a game mode where you start with a few people and you have to create a town\city and try to protect it from natural disasters for example by putting up barriers for tsunamis and reinforce buildings for earthquakes or volcanoes.

Hmmmm...?. Great Graphics and the idea of this game is fantastic! BUT, there just isn't enough content within the game which makes the game boring. And don't get me started with the really bad interface of the menus, they are really hard to interact with and most of the time you have no idea what your opening or how to save your world. This game is still a working progress and for me, is only just worthy of its 99cent price tag. Keep on working Crescent Moon Games! Great concept.. This game has a great concept and with some tweaks would be a great game. Tweaks such as better graphics, more animals, ability to place different plants, place water on land, weather effects, different climates and use of fire. Can't wait for updates.

Topia. It was great for a while then caused my Ipad to stop working. It just stuck on the start up screen. I could not switch off or change applications, very scary. Had to let the battery run down for a full restore. I have now deleted the game aftter playing for only an hour or so. Shame as it had potential. PS. I have 6 Apple devices an hundreds of apps. I do not think it was a problem with my Ipad!

Amazing. It's a beautiful game. All you do is create a world however you'd like. If you've ever used world painter for Minecraft it's a lot like that. But, this game could get quite repetitive if you have a small imagination.

Absolutely Amazing!!. This game keeps me busy for hours! The graphics are great too. A couple things I would like to see are: being able to place water, so we could make things such as waterfalls etc. maybe even at some point, being able to change into first person, and roam with the animals yourself! Hello, I've bought quite a few of yours games and enjoyed them thoroughly, and when I had bought thus game I thought I had found a game where I could create my own little earth, but then I realized you didn't have little humans, and I just noticed that you have updated this game recently and I was thinking that in your next update you should add in some form of human life, that could possibly be able to build their own little villages and stuff like that. I'm sure it would be a big update but I'd seriously give it some thought and maybe even expand on my idea. Anyways, I've really enjoyed playing this game, although it can get pretty boring at times. But I'm sure this new update will make the game a bit better.

Not Finished.... This is a really fun app, but it isn’t finished. There is so much more that can be done with this app! The potential for a cultural phenomenon in this game is staggering, all that needs to happen is for the developer to start on updates that add things to the command menus. It doesn’t all need to be done at once, it just needs to happen! It seems the developers have lost interest in this game, it has not been updated for years now, so don’t go expecting it to start happening. Soon this app will stop being supported by them and it’ll disappear from the App Store, another game that almost was.

It would be cool to watch them evolve, build, hunt and survive in your world.they could build themselves a little town or you could add buildings into the game, that would be another cool feature. After 5 minutes. It was interesting for maybe 5 minutes... But thereafter what do you do? Just eat other animals (fictional creations) gets real boring. The graphics are so-so. Lots of potential but it there is no tasks or objectives and the game feels unfinished in design. Dont waste your money on this one....at least add some humans so they can be eaten.

Eh.... For what it's trying to be I guess it's been alright game. The terrain modification graphics are awesome! The animal population mechanics are mostly uninteresting. The biggest issue is there's no point to the game outside of creative terrain mapping. It feels more like a drawing board than a game.

I LOVE THIS GAME. But I need a few changes for it to be 5 stars. Some changes I would like to see are: - HUMANS. This is my #1 complaint. How are you going to have a world without humans 💀 - We need a food chain. We cant just have the omnivores die because the carnivores eat them. Good but lacks realistic animals. I love sandbox games and animals and I'm a sucker for amazing graphics but I thought this would have real animals not made up alien creatures. I like the way the world looks but the animals ruined it for me and that's why I gave a poor rating.

Dont bother. The game hasn't been updated in ages. The entertainment is brief at best. The game needs more features. I have the same complaints about how the animals work as most everyone else.

Doesn’t work iPad 2018. The app technically launches but you can do nothing aside of setting and tutorials. Devs are clearly abandoned application many years ago.

Fun for a game mechanic. But it can't qualify as a game yet. Simply put the interaction of life doesn't yet create a functional ecosystem and there just needs to be more. When these things are changed I will review it again.

Updates Soon?. Love this game but... Updates? Where are they? Updates are nice! Especially the Human Update.

Great but it needs more. Like - Evolution - More control on the environment like making floods. Lighting. Storms. Rain - Smart creatures that could build civilizations and go to war etc - More animals and expanding the world in the likes of moons and other surroundings planets similar to our solar system. Colonization of other planets. - Multiplayer -Volcano -Caves
