Best dictionary ever. From the time that I am using this dictionary I have memorized about thousand of words with its correct pronunciation, I really thanks from the persons who running this dictionary and it’s so useful dictionary I haven’t seen yet

Useful But discharges phone’s battery. It’s a very useful and fine design. The biggest problem is discharging the battery when the app is open. If you go to ”setting” and then ”battery”, you'll see it on the list as ”Background activity”. The main problem is that in the ”General” menu and ”Background app refresh”, the app’s name isn't on the list in order to turn it off.

Writing in Farsi. When used English Persian, the writings in Farsi get scrambled not that they become unintelligible but rather disturbing. All in all, this Farsi dictionary and its Arabic counterpart have been extremely useful, seldom i need to refer to an actual dictionary! Best regards, HMY

Prediction. In the previous versions, before typing the complete dictation of a word, suggestions of words starting with the letters one has typed so far would appear, making it easy for the user to pick the word they waned to look up. The latest version does not include the feature.

Useful and accurate. This is needed especially for persian class-for those who are taking it! I’ve originally been using google translate (majority of students do) but my professor didn’t like many of the words that were picked up from google which didn’t display the correct meanings for certain words. So a student suggested this app for our class and I’ve been using it since then to help with my writing. :)

Was better before. I think before was better, because when we was trying to go have 2 Application open and see from first application and COM type to your application I don’t need to start the word from the beginning but right now each time I have to start the word from beginning,,,

It is a great app but.... It is a great application, I am using it for almost 2 years and it was perfect But recently I can’t add any new word, it will be reset every time I close the application! I don’t know what to do, somebody help me please?

Dict box. This application is extremely useful for learning english, vocabulary and pronunciation. It has a variety of examples for every word in order to help understand. Moreover, flashcards are so handy. Thank you for making such an application.

Layout. I highly recommend this app but I hate the layout changes!!! By every update you change sth and every time I find it annoying! Specially this time that you change the search bar!! what was the point of make it this big and ugly??

Wonderful app. So Helpful, extensive word and definition, complete example sentences. I love it and use it easily every where even some where I don't have access to the internet.

The Update Ruined Everything. This app used to be my favourite go-to dictionary whenever I needed help. Not everything about it was perfect though, but it perfectly covered my needs. The UI was way better than whatever they replaced it with now, and the annoying advertisement section didn't show up all the time, right at the top of the screen, occypying nearly half of the screen on its own! I never knew the developer could do so much damage to this app by updating it. Just as I never thought I'd ever be so fed up with the "improvements" in the new update that I'd be forced to delete it. Thanks for ruining my one favourite Persian-English dictionary!

Thanksgiving. I’ve been using DictBox for two years. Since after, this was the most fecundity dictionary that I have ever used. Free service, sentence examples and Great Persian Translation make this app more different than other apps. Thank you!

Very Concise & Helpful. I'm very pleased with this app. I've been using this app for a few month. It has been doing a great job of finding the right words, correcting my spelling errors, finding the right description for a word in the Farsi language and the right translation between Farsi and English.

Handy and accurate. Very nice app. I have other dictionary apps too, but I often end up using this one because either the pronunciation option in the other apps does not work well or the ads get too annoying.

Mute. I think it’s a great dic but there is prob when the word reminder wants to send you a word it makes a sound even if your mobile phone is silent and then it makes you Wake up in the middle of the night.

Very useful and perfect. This app provides access to different set of meaning and example to comprehensively learn new vocabularies. It also provides mechanism in order to track the words searched before.

Cannot share the app. On the app description page, it’s said they support app sharing but they have put it inside the app meaning that you can’t share it after purchasing the app. That’s why I’m giving a 1 star for dishonesty

Helpful. Dict box has been always helpful for me cause it is easy to access and has wide range of words and phrases in both persian and English languages and its adds are not too much and annoying. Thanks to the dict box team.

Can’t add reputable dictionaries. This is a relatively good dictionary. However it does not always offer meaningful definitions for Persian words. I tried adding dictionaries the app suggested but it did not add them although the list says “installed”.

Stop Ads. Literally this app is really cool i have been using it for many years but now this weird kinda ads tryna interrupting my studies and lessons, and also my other colleagues and and my younger brother is using this but unfortunately having these weird Ads make us delete it and i am so not happy with it if you remove these Ads that would be really an appropriation. This is very helpful dictionery. This dictionary is one of the most powerfully written dictionary i have ever used in my electric devices. First ,it is easy to use. I can find my word by simply typing the word in search bar. Second ,there is other forms of the word and the important usage tips are also available. An other good future is the image search for words . It is very important and help me to memorize the word very quickly . All in all, this dictionary is my good friend and ease my studies. Wish I could find this incredible Dictionary Few Years Back .. I couple of years ago i have been attained a scholarship from Prim Minister of Pakistan to continue my higher education in the field of medicine. As i was an Afghan graduate and we studied everything in ( Pashto & Farsi) it was quite challenging for me to tackle all those exams without a best companion to make things easy for me in terms of translations. I was wondering here & there to find an amazing friend app which may ease my frustrations finally after years of hard days and nights consequently i found out this fantastic dictionary and I’m feeling over the moon while i get to understand difficult words . One of the best thing about this app is that it works quite well and have plenty of information despite of translating the words which may help one attain plethoras of information regarding unfamiliar words. Simply the best. Although there are lots of professional translators out there, this one has easily grabbed full attention of me. It's just as good as a translator should be; translating to two languages, reminder, bringing pictures and able to group words. I really enjoyed it. Thanks guys

Capacity. Hi! Thanks for this awesome app you’ve made! and I’m really into the flash card option it can be a huge help for my exam! I’m from Iran and as u know we have quite a hard time paying and upgrading to premium:( So my question is how many words can the history or starred part hold,without deleting the first searches?

Use it Everyday, it's best.. I use this Persian Dic. App everyday. It is very complete, pronunciation, examples and picture dictionary ALL in ONE. I just wished it offered more examples in a sentence and relevant pictures. Sometimes the picture that is offered is not the best depiction for the definition.

Applicable clear meaning. Tanx. This dictionary is very applicable for me due to its vast variety of knowledge providing to me with great explanations for different situations supported with examples and pictures. Besides, the app in itself is very well designed and so applicable. It almost always takes me to the point and stops me from needless searches any more.

Word Reminder. Thanks for the great app. Here is a problem with it! It drains the battery by background activity! Unfortunately there is no option to disable it! I even disabled the whole background activity for my iPhone but it didn't help!

one problem. I think you can put down searching click to down screen cause I've been always searching by one hand typing, but, finally it's need to other hand. right now, the apple has perfomed about his app means "voice memos".

One of the best!. I really like this dictionary. It is simple and gives you a lot of information. You can switch from Eng to Persian quickly and the translation is accurate and simple.

It stopped working. Unfortunately it needs to be updated in order to work. But there is no new updates

A bad problem. To developer: When we use flash cards in the app the charge of battery starts getting low quickly(in 30 minutes 40% of your cellphone’s battery power will run out of charge) I think developer has to create an update to solve this trouble.

Problems. I like it but the biggest problem is the advertising. When I look up a word it means I need to know that immediately and instead of giving me the answer an advertising comes up! Other problem is when I use the app and when I close it, it uses my data by itself. Other things are perfect.

PhD Structural Engineer. I love it. Haven’t seen anything this good in the past few years, but voice detection still has room for improvement. Keep up the good work. Also if english pronunciation can be expanded including Persian it could be awesome.

Letter ي is still a problem. If you fix it. It’ll be a perfect app. Please use a great app to learn new words with verity of definition, but the only problem these has is with the leather leather leather"ى". I am appreciate the effort if they will solve this problem.

Highly recommended. I downloaded this app a while ago, it has been very helpful for me and indeed my English has improved as you learn new words in a sentence with the right pronunciation. I highly recommend this excellent dictionary to every one.

Not able to restore previous purchase. Recently I do coming up too many crash when I want to use this app, so I removed app installed again in order to fix issue but now when I am going to restore my previous purchase it shows no previous purchase done! Really nice app!. I am using this app for a long time and I am completely satisfied with its abilities. It has the definition of almost every word that I look for both in English and Persian and also with 3 different voice pronunciation of the word.

ي/ى. I am an Iranian pilot student and we have lot of English books. So I and some friends of mine couldn’t understand some words from these books. So I got this app and I figured that this one is very useful for us. So we’re thankful from creatures of this app. But it has a little bug and it’s “ي” or “ى” in Persian keyboard. It doesn’t work with this tow letters. Please fix it in next version. Thanks🙏🏼

Awesome application. This dictionary is by far the best dictionary I have ever tried. Either from Persian to English or vice versa. Nice drop-down search bar, in addition to a handful of examples within the translation portion, and of course, the nice pronunciations in all main accents, made this app almost always one of the 4 main applications of my phone. easy to use/ uses multiple resources. I definitly love this dictionary more any others and I’ve been using it for almost all my studying life . All said above it’s been a few weeks that I’m suffering from this bug of an update or sth like that which makes the app forget whatever changes I’d made the last time I’d been using it. This so called a bug is killing me as I spend a lot of time using this dictionary and writing notes in it and when I come back to check them or change sth I see there’s no changes from the last times. It’s like it’s frozen on the date and changes I made the day I updated it. Idk exactly whether this problem is related to the update or not but it’s really killing me pls help me if you’ve heard sth like this happen for someone else before. thanks a whole bunch for this great app you’ve designed

Problem with IOS 16. Dear developer/programmer, I love this app, but in IOS 16 the pronunciations does not work properly, and it’s the only feature which I use this application and I love it. Accent. This is a great dictionary, it’s really helpful for me , but I think there is something need to be fixed, and that is i can’t change the language accent to English, I want the app to say the words automatically in English accent when I select a word

Inappropriate advertisement. It is a pity and so so disappointing and it is angering me that when using this app, ads come up showing underage girls doing sexual acts. I decided no matter how helpful this app is to delete it and use another app. I would not recommend this app to no one. I don’t even know how they could allow such content to come up when using this app.

Heating phone in star section of app. In my Xs phone, the app in star selection after approximately 10 second cause to very heat my phone so I make close the app. I taught the problem be ios12 and then update my phone to ios13.3 but the problem is yet! Want my money back or replace new app. I bought this app 2 years ago for $13 and it got problem and I tried to re downloaded but the new one with no ad free opened for me. I lost 2000 saved words in previous one and I have to buy new one for $27. I sent email to provider and he told me contact Apple and I did. Apple said provider must give me credit or replace for new one. Now, Mr Provider, solve this problem. I’m expecting a free app as an old customer. You must satisfy me.

pasting from clipboard without the user doing anything. this app randomly pastes the content of my clipboard while the app itself isn’t even open. just now when i was using my ipad a pop up box said that this app is pasting something from my iphone. this is a potential security issue.

Farsi to English dictionary. It’s a really effective dictionary . Whenever I am looking for a new word , I find it easily .if the word is a professional one,this site helps me to find it in the special sites too .

IOS 16 problem. we have a lot of problem 1. when we use microphone for say our words and tap our finger on screen the app closes 2. offline pronunciation doesn’t work

Great dictionary. I love this app and i used it for few years , but I just bought an apple x and i notice it does not have the pop up on the window option , and thats the only thing i fo not like about it .

Engineer. This dictionary is so useful for me, I could found more technical words as well. I wish you to add more technical words in field of Mining, Water supply, medical and other fields of engineering.

How can you do this to your own product?. I was happily using the useful dictionary, until these frequent and unbearable advertisements hi jacked it, specially when they’re designed to STAY! annoyingly on top of your screen, even after zillions of touchscreens, the poor user might make to get rid of it! Congrats developers!... Now I hate “Grammerly”, after it’s stubborn appearance to stay on the screen for ever!

A problem. There are some words or idioms which you have in the dictionary but the meaning is word by word, not the accurate meaning of that word or idiom

Great app. It not only provides a definition but also synonyms, and examples of usage. As a Learner of Persian, I do wish the pronunciation was available for Persian. It's a great app. More accurate than other online dictionaries I've tried.

One of the best!. I really like this dictionary. It is simple and gives you a lot of information. You can switch from Eng to Persian quickly and the translation is accurate and simple.

Good. Good dictionary but needs more time to better. In somehow it doesn't define some other words and need to be certain online translation. Need to more improve as offline and more fixed to common words and phrasal verb.

Not complete. I look at this dictionary, it’s very updated which is fantastic, but for many ordinary words refer you to a more advanced one, otherwise it’s very good

Request. I really like ur dic and I’m trying to learn vocabularies,the only problem is that I can’t have a backup 😩 I have saved many words but as we are in Iran I can’t purchase premium apps 😐

Effective. The best dictionary for English to Persian (Farsi). It not only includes the best and most accurate translations but also has very efficient examples. Highly recommend to everyone.

Disturbing advertisements. You may get fed up with the myriad advertisements that disturb your work 😩. However, it is worth the installing

Pop up window not working. I updated this to the latest version and now all of the sudden pop up window doesn’t work properly

The best dictionary ever. It even lets u voice search, all online dictionaries in one dictionary, it has definitions, synonyms, antonyms, examples, phonetics, and pronunciation , five stars aren’t enough, i add one more ⭐️😂

excellent. This dictionary is more powerful than other dictionaries that I have used such as the contemporary Longman dictionary which costs 30 $.

Best application. I have been using this app for a while it is the only app that I liked so much with a lot of options u can track your goal here, it is a good app for learner of a language or for those who want to prepare for exams like TOEFL or IELTS.

flash card. It work well, but it would be better if it makes flash card by words in history.

Word reminders. I can’t receive notifications from this app the older version I received the word reminder notifications Plz help me what’s the solution Regards!

Epiphonema. Thanks for this great website. It is useful reliable source. I love the structure; giving lots of information in regards to a word such as synonyms, antonyms, and examples which is applied in different occasions.

A new bug. The new update of the Dic doesn't show the reminder words in the dictionary! I hope you can make it right in the new update! Thanks

Hard to use the Dictionary. When I use this Dictionary, I constantly receive adds and is very difficult to use the Dictionary for me.

Limitation on some fixed equivalent in some disciplines. Dear team First of all i need to appreciate this comprehensive dic. A bug for ios v 13.0. Most of the time when my cellular data is on and I’m working with dict box app, it gets freezing and doesn’t work for 1 minutes or more. Please fix the bugs thanks

Both Persian and English definitions. Using for more than a year and always happy with the results. Sometimes it adds pictures for better definitions.

Device gets hot. I used earlier versions of this dictionary app it was awesome at every aspects I can think of, but recent updates ruined everything, when I use the app more than 1 minutes, my devices gets hotter and hotter, I think it has bugs that put the device hardware under severe load, I hope developers solve it quickly I don't want to replace this dictionary with another one because of this issue. thanks

Good app but so many advertisements. It's a good and applied application but the advertising is so much and makes a bad feeling during the usage. Hope you manage it to get better and better .👍

A really useful dictionary. A good dictionary app which works inside other apps. Simply select your word and use the share option to have it opened in dictionary👍🏻👌🏻

Love this app. It's complete and easy to use , I'm working with this app for a long time and do not need any other dictionary! Very convenient! Only problem is some farsi words can’t be found
