It helps. I use this app everyday when I write or read anything. The translations are more or less correct. If there is any slang terminology, it will not translate it with correct meaning. I wish that there was something that could be updated. But for now, this works. You have to already have somewhat of an understanding of the language to get the gist of the translation.

Easy. Use the voice option and it makes it very simple to use.

Northern Vietnamese dialect. This is the standard dialect in Vietnam.

Terrible update. The app use to give a couple varied updates in which you could understand some and some not. Now you get one translation and it is awful. My wife (Vietnamese) laughs at how wrong the translations are. If the next update doesn't bring back the varied translations I will just delete the app.

Helped me with work. This app was an absolute lifesaver. I met with a client who speaks no English and only Vietnamese, there was no translator around so I downloaded this app and was able to close the deal without any problems of communication.

Handy dictionary. I like this dictionary a lot and very easy to use. To trade back to the previous words just click on the clock on top right.

Don’t waste money. This used to be a good app but developer screwed it up. It’s the same as Google. Don’t waste your money

No audio. Audio doesnt work in basic or upgrade

Speaking to get a translation doesn’t work. Why does the app close when you use voice ?

Great app. This app is by far one of the better translators on the market i use it got Vietnamese one of hardest languages to translate and it does a great job get the app if you need to communicate with other nationalities you won’t regret it

Great use of example phrases. This app not only provides word translation but also examples of how the word can be utilized in conversation. However, when looking up some words, unnoticed some example phrases are very loosely translated or are incorrect in their translation.

Reliable App with key features. This has been a very useful app as I am in a Vietnamese language group. Being able to translate from my native language into Vietnamese and then have the app provide nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs has been most beneficial.

Translations often not reliable.. First the bad news, 15% of the translations are just wrong. At least another 15% are somewhat inaccurate, archaic, or not in common use. My Vietnamese gf will tell me that "that's not really correct" or "nobody says that word anymore". The good news is 70% of the translations are relatively reliable. Also,the translations often include a good selection of example sentences. Bottom line: it's helped me improve my Vietnamese.

Communicate with wife. Awesome communication tool. Breaks the barriers between languages. Enjoy clear communication .

Word ending!. The app is great, but one must have a working knowledge of Vietnamese, and sometimes one never finds what one is looking for!:-). Example: In English, there is no "NG" at the beginning of any word, but the sound does come at the end and within some words, i.e., sing, thing, ding, fang, language, etc. So, I wanted to tell some Vietnamese friends of mine this fact, and wanted to know how to say "word ending" in their language. Never found, yet, but I'll keep looking!!

The best App for Vietnamese translates. I found this to be the best app to translate words for my secondary Saturday Vietnamese school. I know it such boring at the school but these help me with my homework. I had to look at many apps just to find this one.

More ads than other apps. The most Pro Ad App ever. If I can find a dictionary without Ads then I would consider buying it. Just be forward with me and sell me a dictionary and I will consider buying. I will not upgrade...marketing tactic is lacks customer needs. 👎🏽

Neat app too bad it doesn’t work. Every time I use the microphone features the app closes and doesn’t keep what I was just typing.

Love it. Rarely not helpful. Once or twice I have been told by a native speaker that the word it gave me was different than the one commonly used. Specifically the word appendix (body part; like “I had my appendix removed”) that she uses wasn’t even in this dictionary. However, at the end of the day it can help you get an idea for what a word means 9/10 times when you think the google translation is wrong. I am glad I downloaded it, initially I liked it. Since I paid to remove the ads I love it. It is my go-to dictionary now.

Incredibly good for translating texts. Best Vietnamese translation app I’ve used. Online it provides contextual examples of the phrase or clause in question—so much better than a dictionary. And is even often better than a real time translator like Google which often abandons context and gives back a literal (but wrong) translation. This app doesn’t generate sentences but rather provide examples that are invariably accurate. Well done!

The female Vietnamese speaker has a accent from the north. Most people visit Saigon and the southern and middle of Vietnam. All of my Vietnamese friends quickly identified the northern accent.
