User sound ?. Trying to figure out how to import my own drum sounds would be 5stars but it can’t find the option, only preset sounds

Love it!!. Although other apps show you a drumset, this is the only app that gives you even access to all drums, instead of trying to tap a small picture. It's not like you can cross your fingers over, like you do with your arms. And with the multiple sets available, this app kicks *ss!!!

No Velocity Sensitivity on MIDI Out. Dealbreaker.

Best drum pad on the App Store. This is probably the most effective drum pad app on the App Store. All the others are too complicated when all you want to do is play along with a beat. Also the latest update fixes lag issues that made it hard to play on the beat. My only wish is that it can one day support iPhone X. The menu on the bottom is a little annoying too since sometimes I accidentally click on it.

Great App All Around!. This drum app is incredible, and it's a very useful tool to practice with! It is great for all levels of drummers. I love how you are able to play along with your music library, and you can record yourself to help yourself improve! It has a metronome to help you improve your timing skills. This app is all around great for any drummer wanting to improve their skills or just have fun playing some beats.

Best drum pad app. Good sound ,sensitive by areas and in general very responsive

Love the app but background activity wiped my battery. I love the drum pad experience with this app. There is little to no perceivable lag and the drum sounds are high quality. The battery in my 5S started to drain dramatically faster after installing iOS 8 and after checking my battery usage I found that Rhythm Pad has accounted for 47% of my battery usage in the last week. To make it worse, it said that it was the app's background activity that was draining my battery. I've since deleted the app and my battery now lasts an entire day. Unfortunate since I enjoyed the app and even spent money upgrading it.

Perfect for practice. This app is really perfect practice for a certain game involving a taiko drum and Japanese music.

Can't disable notifications. Great app, could use more kits & customizable pads. But pretty good for a free version. However, being unable to disable push notifications is a deal breaker. Your options are daily or weekly. There needs to be a never option. Some people only play as a hobby or distraction, and don't need daily or weekly reminders to "practice" because we will play when we play. The notification can't even be cleared. This is probably more annoying than the notification itself. Outside of this, it would be a 5 star app.

Great sound. High quality realistic sounds but what's even better is how responsive the touch pads are. It's a small detail but when you hit the open high-hat then the closed hh you can hear it close. So it's not just playing short tracks but is a little more realistic. And it works with Garage Band!

The Most Useable Of Them All !. After downloading every single one of the free drum-kit/drum-machine apps from the App Store, the "Rhythm Pad" ....wait for it....w a i t f o r i t....cue the drum roll....and....cymbal crash! Destroyed all of the other apps more convincingly than Keith Moon did at the end a of "Who" concert! I think the drum sound samples are more realistic than most of the apps I tried. The pads are configurable allowing you to set things up to the way you want your fingers to trigger the percussion. This feature alone, which is unlike most other apps that present you with a "picture" of a drum kit, makes this app the stand out. Having a picture of a real drum set and having to imagine you are sitting behind it on your throne is a joke because you're not at real drums you're on the flat surface of an iPad screen. It just doesn't work to have a 3-D picture of drums on a 2-D playing surface. Those apps are just dumb ideas with hardly any novelty appeal. This app works very well and the feature of being able to play along to songs in iTunes had me jamming in just a couple of minutes. Sure it could be enhanced; things could be more configurable and made even more usable, but the developer is definitely on the right track.

Haters got no skills. I collect real analog synths and drum machines modulars and what not I always use my sequencers doesn't matter if I'm using my mpc or a jomox999 even my tempest . So this is great practice to get some skills on pads . Not being a drummer I play guitar and piano so this is great when I'm stuck in traffic or Watching tv being lazy .

Much better than a yeat ago. This is my second review. The drum machine is very nice; responsive, vert little low layency if any, sound is pretty good, nice to be able to play along with my music and record my beats and the drum kits are ok. It would so great to allow more drum kits and even nicer if I could build my own kit from any of the kits that are available. Currently you can only swap drums within the current kit you selected, you cant mix sounds from the other kits. It would also be great to overdub while recording and record on 4-8 tracks. Other than that it is pretty good. Make my suggested changes And I think your app will be up with the big boys. Thank

Cool App but. How do you make the drum pads louder than the music file? We can barely hear them & they are turned all the way up (the pads). Did I miss a setting or something? I also tried the setting to make it louder in center of pad but it’s still too low. 🥺

Okay. I downloaded this to play along with songs. It works great while no music is playing, but I used it with Pandora and can't hear a thing out of the drums. Great drums and good sounds, and I understand the ads, they aren't in the way. But make the drums be sound effects or something, because I want to use them WITH music.

Responsive, good samples-great app. Touch is very responsive easy to stay on beat, the samples are pretty good too, punchy snares and kicks. But the best part is being able to play along with your music library and record live. I play the drums so this is nice to have when I'm bored and not able to access my own drums.

Finally!!!. I've literally tried 20 different drum apps. This is the first drum app I've tried that allows me to play in real time. I can roll with ease as every stroke can be heard playing back to me, which leads me to an improvement I think would be killer and that's adding sensitivity to the pads so we can play lightly or loudly. It feels weird trying to be dynamic and hearing the same wallop. This app is awesome!

Purty good!. Drums are responsive...but they should allow you to upload your own sounds. However, they do have a pretty good collection of sounds. The pads are also large enough not to miss. The main negative is that if you accidentally hit the ad, it will interrupt the song which could be very bad! I wish there were a paid version...

Great App. Awesome. If this little App Keeps improving like if has it’s gonna be the best for something so hard to find in any app dealing with music. It’s 100 percent Doing exactly what it’s supposed to do. It doesn’t play the drums for me either. Dang. I may have to work on my rhythm. Oh I thought music was easy. Great for any learning drummer. I, being a rock drummer for numerous years, always appreciate any practice opportunities I can get my hands on. This app is perfect for me, and anyone looking for the same thing as me- a great learning experience for any rock drummer. This is also great for people trying to work on new techniques, or simply looking to improve their rthym. A great app for anybody overall.

The best. For all the people leaving negative reviews, please suggest a better drum app for everyone? The notifications are annoying, it's not perfect, but it's MILES ahead of any other drum app that's out. Drumjam is pretty good but it is played in a much different way. The kits are great except for club, hip hop, and the one with the ride cymbal. Those honestly need work but overall still the best drum app I've tried.

Bittersweet. This is the update I always dreamed for, like seriously. By adding all the times I use this app throughout the day, it probably comes to be 2/3 hours. BUT, the latency and performance can be bad, VERY bad depending on what kit I use. I almost lost my mind thinking it was my phone but it is most definitely this new update. Please just match that original latency and performance to this new update! I love the new drum sounds and if the kit wouldn’t glitch as much, I could see myself using this app in professional settings, please know I mean this respectfully. Like I said prior, this is my favorite drum app on any device EVER. Also, can we please re-add the ability to connect to Garageband? That was fun having the ability to use those effects on Rhythm Pad. Thanks!

THE 🐐 OF DRUM APPS (a note from a Pro Drummer. I came across this beauty of an app a few years back when I was in high School, I wanted to drum at all times, even when I was on the go, and I desperately looked for good sounding drum apps that would give me that almost surreal uninterrupted sense of rhythm and feel, there was none. But when I came across Rhythm Pad, it was an absolute game-changer. It not only feels and sounds like an actual kit, but it’s made me a 10x better drummer because I was basically walking with a drumkit in my pocket. I could practice at all times without having any of the neighbors assassinate me, I would experiment and improvise different rudiment patterns and combinations due to the app’s ease of use and apply them on my actual kit. To the entire Rhythm Pad team, this message is pretty overdue but I’d sincerely like to thank you for the effort and passion you put to bring out a superbly functional and enjoyable portable kit that changed my drumming experience and journey as well as I’m sure thousands of other drumming enthusiasts. Nice drum sounds. Some nice realistic drum sounds. Features I would like to see would be the ability to build a custom kit using samples from between kits and midi input allowing samples to be triggered via Core Midi support effectively giving you a drum module in your pocket. Nice work!

Best App. This is my favorite drum app been using for soo long now but you guys should add an option to make our own drum kit for e.g have a pop drum with hip hop cymbals and ect keep it up :)

Worth downloading. Enjoyable app, after 5 mins I was playing drums along to songs straight from my playlist. Can change volume of the track and the drums. Many different styles of drums, surprised me. Quick fun easy app :)

A review. Hello their my people I have come along to review this app I personally love this app as it is free and easy I wouldn’t mind having afew extra ways to optimise your song such as loop but hey you can do that on a sound editor or something. Another reason why I like this app is because usually you have to get a subscription of about $10 - $20 a month which is very annoying yet this wonderfull thing is free.

Great app. Very responsive and extremely easy to use. Thankfully this app comes with many kits to start with. :) I enjoyed the option of jamming along to my favorite songs :D overall, this app is great to use. One of the more underrated apps when it comes to making and playing creative rhythms

A must on every apple device I own (for me). I prefer this drum app over many many drum apps. Low latency (surprisingly, one of the most downloaded and loved drums apps on App Store has noticeably more latency than this. Ew!) Good sound and simple layout, prefer the pads over drums U.I on phones. First started using this app in 2014 or 2015, and it has been on every apple product I owned.

Rhythm pad. It's fun

Good but room for improvement. I like the simple layout, i think theres no point in having a picture of a drumset when playing drums on an app, especially on a phone, its distracting and useless. The simple layout of this app makes use of the whole screen and makes it easy to play. I find the sounds lacking somewhat though, theres not even a jazz set, the sets are indistinctive from eachother and uninspiring. Would love to see more electronic sounds, and the possibility to create sets entirely from any set.

Violates app guidelines. It doesn't stop giving you notifications, to buy the full version, even when notifications for the program are turned off. The other notification I saw was "it's time to practice your drumming!" it beeped at me from across the room, for that, after I'd removed it from the notification center.

Needs multiple tracks. Cool app to play around with. Being able to record it is cool too but it would be a lot better if you could layer tracks. Adding drums piece by piece, without tripping over your fingers. Making it possible to make more complex beats

More annoying than an actual drummer. This might be a nice app but the constant notifications warrant 1 star. I don't want to be best friends with a human drummer, never mind a spammy robot drummer app.

Too many push notifications. Ok I give the 3 stars instead of 5 solely because when I turn push notifications OFF I still get push notifications. And that's why I deleted it. So yeah, fix that BS and I'll re-download it.

Decent drum ap. Not a bad drum machine. The auto play is pretty nice. You can't export the beats or I haven't found out how yet. It's decently programmable and not a bad ap at all for the free price. I wish I could minimize it and use it to play guitar along too.

Amazing all the great free features. A few years ago free hand drum apps were really basic. But now you can record. Or lay down tracks over your recordings. Lots of setting if you want them. Or just play it as is and have a lot of fun. I record and play through loud speakers then play my guitar to it. The sophistication of the feature set is a musicians gold mine. Enjoy. Oh and thank you to this app's creators. You did an incredible job.

Great app. I think that Rhythm Pad Free is a goos app for music. You might not like it at first, but maybe you like different kit. Overall it's a good app. I also use it for my music class, and it works just fine. I recommend this app for you young musicians.

This is boring. I liked this app like the first 5 minutes and then it just got boring it need different kits,and record and save soo u can share the beats u make, and also if I was u I wouldn't download this app wasted a good 5 minutes of my life but the rest is good soo like 30% download it and the other 70% don't download it

It's a drum set.... It may just be my iOS grade but I am not able to suppress push notification reminders; other than that the sound quality, features, and functionality are great for what is made available!

Gets the job done... And more. The pads make it easier to play complex rhythms compared to 3D drum kits available on the App Store. The record function and play with, are a bonus.

Just what it should be.. It is a free app after all and a darn good example of one too. Lots of features to get you intrigued and to see if the paid version is worth the money. So far I am certainly considering buying the full version.

Worst app ever. If I could I wouldn't even rate this a star. really the search button is to search songs not freeze up and glitch every time I try to play it freezes I keep trying to stay cool but it won't even let me log of the app you might as well delete the whole game than getting more bad reviews👎🏾

Best Drum App. This is the most awesome drum app ever made. The drum sound is too good. And the pads are placed in the most optimal positions unlike other drum apps in the app store. Highly recommend to anyone playing drums.

Help. What is the difference besides ad removal between this and the 3 dollar version??? Ok, so I absolutely love this app. No delay, no problems with the app. I like how I can play along, record, and even make a link that I can post directly to Facebook.

Great app!. I've tried several drums apps available. This one does the trick for me. Quite a few sounds to choose from. I really like the metronome as it comes in handy when developing your riffs.

Eh..... Not bad for a drum app. Tons of crappy ones out there. The biggest issue I have is the latency. There is a noticeable gap between my tap and the actual sound that is produced. More pads with other sounds and ability to add effects would be awesome. For the reviewers that trash this app, just remember it is not a real drum machine. If you want it to sound pro then get a real drum machine or even a real kit!

Awesome. When iciest played this I didn't like to but then I played with my music and absolutely love it 100%. This app is awesome when playing with music!!!!

Invasive ads when using other aps. The functionality is great but the ads in the free version make it more trouble than it's worth. Paying for the full version will just encourage them. I'd rather upgrade from a product that doesn't make me grind my teeth.

Drums good! Notifications bad!. This 5 star drum pad is overshadowed by forced notifications. Why annoy the user to the point of app deletion? Remove the notifications and I'll vote 5 stars. Then add some more kits and offer a paid version.

Its kewl. I play drums for a band and i cant afford real ones so i play electrick drums and this app allows me to change and modify my drum set the way i need it well done Lol

House drum. Just got the app,crazy about it. Beats the hell out of tapping on a table or the side of your leg. DO the upgrade, the adds just get in the way. This is rhythm you can take anywhere.

When it alerts my phone for me to practice, I jam it out if I'm in public. It's the best one I've tried yet. No delay, very crucial. But I need a kit with 2 kick pads so I can double thumb bass, and get a pointer or index finger in the mix. Open and close the hi hat while double bassing? What?

Well.... Good but it stinks that u can't record them cuz I need a beat for a talent show song I made and so I can't sing without something in the background so I was hoping this would help but... You get the idea

Great but needs latency support for Bluetooth. Great app but in my opinion it needs build your own set where you can mix and match drum pads and better Bluetooth Support, there is a lag when I want to use my Bluetooth Studio Headphones, please fix this and I will gladly add a star...
