Beautiful app. Have enjoyed this app. Informative and beautiful artwork. Wish more apps were like this were around. If I would change anything it would be to have more. More paintings and especially more music and even more info (not all the artwork offers an information page). Also, the feature to save art in photo album (so you can use it as background on phone) doesn't work for me. This was disappointing.

Fine Art for all. What a wonderful collection. I live in rural America so this app is a great privilege to me to bring fine art to my home to see and share with others.

Addictive!. Now I can re-visit and learn more about old favorites as well as discover new masterpieces. Background music is a big plus.

Sure beats going to London. The quality and quantity are superb. After once again visiting the National Gallery this summer, I find it a pleasure to inspect the works at my leisure here in Miami, where the weather just became bearable after six months of hell. Keep updating and upgrading.

Great for art students. The app is easy to use and helps familiarize the art student (or art aficionado) with important pieces through the centuries. We utilize it in our classroom to familiarize ourselves with one new artwork each day. You can search via genre, century, or name. It would be nice to have more information, such as links to technical bulletins, restoration and/or curator's notes. Hoping for an upgrade with this information!

Exceptional Collection. I have visited this museum and have enjoyed it's wonderful exhibits, from sculpture to paintings. The "Arnolfini Wedding" is a prize for any museum. I liked the Holbeins and others of royalty and nobility which give the viewer a sense, not just of the subjects, but of other classes of people who shared the land and challenges of the era. This museum is one which every art enthusiast should include on a list of "must see" destinations.

Nice artwork. The interface and design are easy to use, the artwork and viewing options are nice and simple. 😀😀😀 the picture quality and artwork are excellent.

Wondrous. How very cool to be able to gaze at these masterpieces at home or wherever. I gazed entranced at the works of Durer before I went to sleep last night. I love this app...;)

I know what I will soon see. Pics are in good detail and organized well. Looking forward to seeing the real thing soon. Even my son, who is not particularly into art, looked these over and put the art museum on his list of sites.

Beautiful paintings. I've been to the National Gallery but it is wonderful to revisit some of my favorite paintings. For first timers please get the upgrade for so many more treasures to see. The HD feature is as close to standing in front of the painting as you can get.

Art. I enjoy this app while kids are in the pool or getting ready for bed it allows me the opportunity to increase my artistic knowledge, still would like to visit

Visualization of Faith. The eternal nature of faith is reinforced in me as I appreciate the vehicle of art in communicating spiritual things at a time in history when the masses had no Bible and probably couldn't read if they could have gotten one.

Great app. Very clear and detailed. Wish a small history of paintings and artists were included. Maybe in future updates.

Excellent App. This is a fabulous app allowing one to see these beautiful paintings one would never see without traveling to London.

Enhances the art experience. We purchased this app anticipating a trip to the National Gallery. It has been very worthwhile and enhanced the experience of viewing the art. There are some details of the Arnolfini Wedding you can only see in person like those little red shoes on the floor in the background, but the app has allowed us to re-live the joy of the experience and it cost less than airfare and hotel.

Great app. Not the same as being in the gallery, but a fantastic way to see some of their remarkable collection -- and to spend time with works one might neglect on a physical trip there.

Art Connected. This app is the best for connecting avid viewers, students, and professionals to the works of some of the greatest artists our world has witnessed. Crystal clarity in pictures and authentic and vibrant colors combine to truly reflect the masterworks in the National Gallery. For the viewer who has seen these classics in person or for those fortunate enough to be able to now see them at their leisure, this app gives one the chance to share, savor, and reflect upon the wonders of these fine arts.

Great way to visit a gallery far away. The image quality is great, five stars for that. I'd say four stars for the info included with each painting. It seems a bit brief. I'd love to learn more about the artist and the piece when I view a painting. A kids section would be a great educational opportunity.

Gorgeous App. I will definitely upgrade. It's like a little trip back in time, in old Europe.

Absorbing. I did not know what to expect. But the work displayed is simply absorbing. It is what you expect art to accomplish - draw you in and carry you away. It's great!!!

Stop asking me to review your app. Asking to review once is enough. Asking to review every single time the app opens is annoying. Also, why is there no way to listen to your own music while looking at the artworks? Other than that, it's great. The ability to send images is great, and the image quality for the most part is good.

National Gallery's. This is a wonderful app and makes me sad I did not visit when I visited London many years ago. The music is a nice touch also.

Self education at its best!. What a great learning too; everyone needs this app; still learning and appreciating all that is offered after circling the sun 62 times!

More please!. Lovely selection of the classics. I look forward to seeing more. Wish this technology were available 35years ago when I was studying Art History!

Great experience!. I used to live not far from the National Gallery and it is a pleasure to re-visit the paintings on my iPad! I of course bought the $2 upgrade and can view the paintings in HD if I wish, and the ones I've looked at are stunning! I've got several gigabytes free on my iPad so limited memory hasn't been a problem, but if it becomes so there is a button to delete all of the HD versions of the paintings that I've downloaded. It's not the same as seeing the paintings in London in person -- these aren't 3D images -- but it's the best alternative. The images, like most things on my iPad, are beautiful!

Supports my studies. I can study anywhere I go. This perfect app is going to help me get my degree in Art History! Couldn't do without.

History of Arts. I love this and the developers' other similar apps which I bought all. This app as well as the other apps that show more paintings, can be viewed in HD where you can actually zoom in and get a closer look at their techniques. I see some of my favourite painters and see others I have not heard of. So many unknown painters, there are some unfinished works in these apps. Amazing. If you want to look at paintings for any reason, you cannot go wrong with this and other apps by same developers. Click on related beside review and you will see more apps. See one, want them all.
