Works well but one feature is missing IMO. I like this app but it seems it could be better if more space was devoted to the translations, and that all of the text was translated. Perhaps something like an image map where you tap an area and it shows that block of text translated. Also more posters would be great. Add those things and it would be perfect.
A history teacher's dream!. This is an awesome collection and useful tool for nostalgia buffs and history teachers like me. Will be using in my classes for teaching WWII, communism, the Cold War and more.

Interesting insights. A few Tsarist-era posters, not giving any clues as to what is to come. But the bulk are Soviet era, a combination of sophisticated and simple. Knowing some Russian helps. The translations are terse and look like they are from Google - some of the ideas get muddled. Even without translating the words, the artwork is beautiful.

Very nice collection. This collection of Soviet propaganda posters is not just limited to war and military, it also has harvest info graphics, mother and child 'instructions', advertising and trade- including a cool 1965 Stoli ad. I wonder if Russia is selling USA or German propaganda posters? :-). All are truly works of art, no matter the message.
Great collection. Superb collection, but the translated captions range from weak to unintelligible. Retranslate them all, please. Some of them make no sense. Nevertheless, a great value.

Nice posters. I would give it a gold plated 5 stars if you included the posters of World War I and the revolutionary posters of that era and its aftermath until Lenin's death. Interesting poster art of that period.
