Garbage. They took my money and gave me garbage app that doesn’t work. You cant register, text in the bix is all white just like background. You can manage to type your name but when it comes to setting your date of birth etc, its just impossible because you can see the controls. BASIC! BASIC ! NONSENSE AND THEY CANT GET IT RIGHT. YOU WILL BE CHEATED OUT IF YOUR MONEY.

Excellent tool for Space-a travelers. Makes signing up easy and is a source of great information.

Needs updating. Buyer beware. I brought this app about 5 years ago. I never actually took a flight that’s another story, but checked it frequently. Now it’s just dormant.. I looked up an air-force base a couple of weeks ago for a trip, and not it’s just stuck on that air-force base. Can’t change it, can’t shut it down and restart it to go back to home page. It doesn’t nothing at all 😒

Great App. I have used this app for two years. We are novice Space A adventurers and Take-A-Hop has made the sign up process so simple and convenient. I have the app on my phone and IPad. I keep the email sign up on my phone. We have never had a problem but if there is a question at the AMC terminal about our sign up date, the email with date and time can be shown to the pax rep. Twice I've had questions and used the in-app email. The developer responded expeditiously.

Doesn’t work. I can type in my name but it doesn’t show up. When I try to input my DOB the page is blank. This app is awful for inputing data. Best to just use the website.

Dear Sir. I did pay this app. Why I have not all the locations? Like I don’t have Andrews in my app?

A web browser is easier. Contrary to how it is presented as a stand-alone source of military SpaceA information, the app is essentially a front to Facebook links that must be used to obtain flight status and information. As I don't have/want a facebook account it provides no utility that isn't similarly obtained using a web browser and is useless to me. I have removed it from my phone and will not be able to make use of it.

Needs updating. Just bought the app Need to fix the part where you register when I go to enter anything u can’t see dates or the information I had to go by the clicks when I registered the website I think needs updating

Questionable. Up until Space A died a couple of years ago, this app was fantastic. Great time saver worth every penny. Now most recently (Aug 2022) since Space A has come back, I’ve attempted to use it but much information esp email address to sign up, must be updated. I’ve written to the Developer but no response.

Amazing App and SO APPRECIATED!. This had made taking hops so much easier. I don’t know what I would do without this app. Thank you for making it!

Not user friendly. No in app directions. No way to search for flights originating from a location or going to a location. Very dissatisfied with the product. You are better off going to the facebook pages of a lot of the bases now.

Great!. Easy to use, with lots of information. Use this app every time I travel on SpaceA flights.

Beware!!!. I downloaded this app to help me plan a trip overseas and it looked like it was going to be good but filling in the boxes was a major guessing game, off white background with white letters. Right now I’m really sorry I wasted my time and money. I’d love to hear from the developers…

Unable to Use. I can't even use this app. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it several times. As I open it, I can only see any info in it for a couple of seconds and then it goes blank.

Abandon ship!. This app worked when I used it in 2016 but looking at it now I can definitely tell this app has been abandoned by the creator. Certainly do not pay for this. Google and Facebook will serve you far better than this app ever could now that it’s been dismissed and not updated in over a year. IMO apple should remove this app.

Garbage. Seeing how nothing is updated for this app, it’s pretty much garbage. However, if PAX ever did make an app that worked it would be incredibly helpful!

Great App! Useful information. I have used this app on my IPhone for years! It makes signing up extremely easy. I don't have to send multiple emails and I always get a copy of my signup to my own email, listing all of the locations I've signed up for. I also use it to find local info, accommodations, and there is a place for me to make my own notes for each location!

What app. What exactly does this app do. I can select an airport but to see any flight info it takes me back to Facebook where I initially searched space a. Can’t see any worth in this.

Blank date. When ever I go to set information in the register section it’s blank and impossible to see

Simply the BEST for Space A Travel. If you travel Space A or are just thinking about it, this APP is worth it's weight in gold. The whole process is simplified by Take-a-Hop and your data saved so that you do not have to re-enter it with each Space A registration.

No longer supported or working. Defunct app. Save your money. I bought this this year and it doesn’t even send me a copy when I add my name to the BCC line. I checked with multiple bases none of them got my registration seven dollars eaten with zero benefit.

Needs updates. I’ve enjoyed using this in the past, but it appears to be neglected now. Using iOS 14, there are white-on-white text boxes and disappearing number wheels (for selecting dates) which make it essentially unusable now. Will revise rating if it gets fixed anytime soon.

Could be good. Some good information but many broken links to local bases to look at flight schedules. It appears it hasn’t been updated in awhile.

Amateur app. This app needs serious help. The early 2000s style UI is difficult to use and didn't provide much useful information. Everything of consequence is available only via FB passenger terminal pages, yet the app's FB function cannot link the user to the correct part. iOS 12 is not properly supported, as I can only find one passenger terminal under any search option or list. Not recommended and a waste of money.

Very limited use. The paid App is very basic and has limited use. It’s primary use is for signing up for Space A flights. It doesn’t provide any schedules, or where flights fly out from to the country that you would like to go, which is always the biggest question for those wanting to travel.

It's a Winner. Makes Space A travel planning and re-planning a real snap. Wouldn't plan or travel without it.

Good idea not great execution. Not bad but there’s issues they need to fix like changing the text color, when you registering the text is white with a white background making it impossible to set the correct date

Great Space-A app!!. My wife and I just traveled Space-A and the app was one reason for such a successful traveling experience. The app was easy to use and I found that it successfully sent my registrations to all our destinations. Love it!!

This is a great App. I find it interesting that a number of reviewers don’t care for it. The only reason I can think of is that they didn’t explore the app thoroughly like I have. It did take me a while, but it was worth it. It removes all the hassle of looking up each departure site individually and then contacting them all individually. The app has been a great asset in planning my SpaceA adventures.

Good concept, poor execution. I love the idea of this app but the interface is difficult to navigate, white txt on white background makes reading the sign up form difficult and most critically, the sign up function does not appear to work now. Should be free considering it’s lack of functionality and limited information value.

Works Like A Charm!. So far, everything has worked like a charm. All numbers and sign ups at every location have worked. Excellent App! Highly recommended!

Veteran owned and operated. This app has proven its worth on numerous occasions! As a fellow mobile developer, I know that he could charge more or charge a subscription for his service, but he does not and helped our veterans and service members take a hop in the most convenient way possible.

Great app.. Love this app. It's my go-to when traveling space A.

Turn off dark mode?. It has white text background and you can register. Update. Take iPhone 13 dark mode off and it works! 2023 still great for mass mailing and proof at the passenger terminal. Oct 2023. iOS 17 not supported. I’ll try 16 on a default phone.

Isn’t usable anymore. This app isn’t usable. The date field on any of the fields doesn’t show but still scrolls. Not worth free much less 7$

Love to hop!. This app has been extremely helpful with information about bases, locations, ground transportation available, etc. I'm grateful to have it and reference it often.

Wasted Money. I used this app. to send (supposedly) space a signup requests to 5 passenger terminals. A week later, I called each terminal to confirm receipt. Only one of the five had received the request. MUCH safer to just send emails myself. VERY DISAPPOINTED in this app.

Many broken links. When clicking through to flight schedules many links are no longer functional.

Waste of $6.99. This app does nothing and provides nothing. Near as I can tell, the only aspect of this app remotely useful is that you can see what Air Force bases are out there.

iPhone dark appearance off. I was hesitant to purchase the app because everyone was saying they can’t see the text. Happened to me on my IPhone 13. Turned Darkmode off and text is now visible.

Mixed bag. This app was semi useful at one time but since they still haven't added JBLM Lewis-McChord, even after today's update, I just can't recommend it due to its incomplete list of airfields. If you used this as your sole source of Space-A info you would miss out on countless flights due to this omission. All needed info is on the internet so making this app current shouldn't be a difficult task. Although I hate Facebook, I will use it as my source of Space-A info as it is current and up to date. But it sure would've been nice to go to one place, this app, for all my Space-A needs.

Far from pleased!!. Ok, I choose a departure airport, and every time I tap on a destination, it always ends up being the same as the departure location. Please help.... anyone. Thank you! PS my iPhone has the most current updates.

Lacking Many AMC locations. I had high expectations for this app...unfortunately it is missing MANY major AMC locations...additionally, if you are 100 DAV dont bother...its not updated to support you either..USE facebook save $$$$

Great App!. I am a long time user of this app. Whenever I plan a trip I always use this app for signup. Never had any problems with app.

False application. This app is a scam. As you navigate through this application and fill out all the information you believe that it is a form of registration through the app. IT IS NOT! All it does is generate an email for you and send the email with all the information you just filled in. You are paying $6.99 for an email generator… an email that is easier to just type behind a computer. It doesn’t even do it for you! You are still typing everything in yourself then it just organizes it for you!!!! Complete theft. Refund has been requested! Zero stars if I could

Love this app. I feel that this app makes signing up for flights very easy. You can sing up for space a in different areas at the same time which saves so much time... I definitely recommend getting this app

Awesome app!. This is a very well maintained app for space-a travel. It is super useful and I would never leave home without it. This is a one stop app that is very valuable for sign up and info.

6 out of 10. It was so so on the older iPhone iOS but crashed and had multiple bugs and on the latest iPhone iOS. Deleted and reloaded app and it worked fine.

Best way to travel space a!. An incredible, thoughtful, user-friendly, one-place application to make space a travel easy. Don't attempt to leave home without it!

Use it all the time. We have been using the take a hop app since it first came out and we love it. It is so easy to sign up for flights at the press of a button. We especially like the base data, i.e. where is the commissary, where is the long-term parking, billeting, etc.

This is great. This is a really convenient way to register for military Space A flights. Easy to use, and the developers are prompt with assistance if a problem should arise.

Terrible Design. Okay the app has white letters on a white background making it impossible to read.

Helpful ideas. Would be helpful if this app had a link to the website for each AMC terminal. Also, the phone number listed for flight recording for Mcquire AFB is not correct. Would also be helpful if you could make some of your own notes on the terminals for your personal reference.

Great app for space a. This is an essential app for space a'ing. I sign up at a lot of bases because I don't know where I am going. This app makes that simple. Great database of lodging phone numbers and maps. The app has saved me time, trouble, and money.

Fantastic Space-A app. I believe this app is a must have for any space-a traveler. I've used this app for a few space-a trips now and it has been indispensable in streamlining the sign up process. I love that you just check off your desired Passenger Terminals from a list and off goes an email to each one of them, including one to yourself for your record. It saves your passenger sign up info on your phone (and only on your phone) so that it's there next time you use the app. It keeps track of how long you've been signed up for quick reference and planning purposes. And if that wasn't enough, there is also a plethora of information and phone numbers for just about every base that one can space-a from worldwide. Every update so far has just made the app better, so kudos to the developers. Highly recommend!

Number 1 Site for Space-A Info. There are a couple great sites on the Internet for getting info about space-a travel, but NO site makes travel as easy to plan for, or to execute, as this app does. Go for it. You'll be glad you did when you're trying to solve a travel issue on the fly!

This app is indispensable. If you travel military space-a this app the the most useful utility on your smart phone or iPad. Don't leave home without it!

Quick iOS support!. (I sent an email to support and I was instructed to clear my AOIs. I cleared as instructed to rectify the multiple (null) sections now that plague this out-of-date version but there was no resolve. The scrolling drop down menu options available before no longer work with iOS 9.2.1. Please get err back on track and make this once again the best Space A travel app for us AD and retirees.) This email is what I sent to support and they promptly solved the issue. The support team is constantly updating and benchmarking this great app. This is a great app!

Vic and Connie. This is an excellent app for any Space-A traveler. It's the most user-friendly, flexible, and powerful signup process I've found. In addition it's chocked full of very useful information which is invaluable. Highly recommended.

Great Upgrade.. This app is worth every penny and more. Great upgrade and very user friendly. A go to resource for every space a traveler. My go to source to sign up for flights.

Space A is A-1. Very fast. Loads up lots of data on most of the USAF passenger terminals, although some are missing. (For instance, March Air Reserve Base.) From what I see, the app will submit your request for travel. (I have not had a chance to check out this feature in real time.) If this is the case, then the app will go beyond A-1 and into a rating of "Sweet"! Well worthwhile.

A "must have" for active/retiree use of military spaceA benefit. Advance signups a breeze with this app. AMC terminal verifications made easy with request cc's in osmart phones. Base pax terminal info recordings made easily available w/o hauling pounds of "how to" books and manuals.

The Best App for Space A.. This app is incredibly handy when traveling around the globe on mil flights. I used it this summer to plan my trips and even book lodging in the area of travel. I did it all with just my iPhone.

adventure accomplished. This app helped us accomplish our first Space A adventure! Thank you for putting all the information that is needed at your fingertips that is otherwise sprinkled across the Internet. We truly appreciate this app and it had the "unofficial" endorsement by some members in the terminal.

works great. I have just started using this app, but I works great so far, signed up for departure from two different locations and got immediate replays that I had been placed on the list!

Where did all the locations go?. There are only about ten listed.

Makes getting there Extremely Easier. Great application, anyone that gave this app less than 5 stars must just not know how to us a smartphone. It provides great details on numerous AMC terminals for space A travel. I currently serve in the Army and have used this app many times for me and my family. All the above was pre formatted but it is right on par. This is the best app I have ever purchased and makes Space A traveling very easy! If you have a smartphone and travel via Space A you need this app!

Take-a-Hop. A useful app and very easy to use. I especially like having the option to save my data, so I don't have to take the time to reenter everything from scratch. There will be times when traveling that you may not want that info stored in your iPad, and that's no problem because you have the option to clear it with one click. I also like the copy of your request going directly to your "Sent mail" folder, thus eliminating the need to carry extra copies with you. Thanks Rob for a great app -- I Love It!

Great App. Use this app for any and all Space A sign ups. Is completely accurate, gives a hard copy confirmation email which is a needed asset!

Does not work with 5s. Since opening on the 5s it doesn't work. Before then it was great. Taking a few years to answer does earn a 1 star review.

Worth the money!. It allowed me to easily sign up for multiple flights simultaneously. The free update has very useful facilities and location information. It is great to finally have all of this in one place. Well done!

Ron and Angie. We use this app more than any others. It is so user friendly and is filled with so much helpful information. We can register for travel at all of our favorite bases in minutes. Love it!

Not worth the $. All this app does is link you to the air terminals Facebook pages. Most of them you can sign up from there. It is nice to know where all if them are in one place but if you go to the AMC site you can find them too. Good on another vet finding a way to make a buck tho. :)

This is an amendment to my previous post. I have been contacted by Rob G and was advised to simply uninstall and reinstall the app. It now works nearly flawlessly. Just a minor issue with it jumping down 2 or 3 lines when hitting tab when it should ideally jump to the next line for the next entry but that is way minor. Also it did not produce a passbook due to a server error but that's not at all a big deal. The biggest plus is that it saves all my data even when I exit the app which means no more having to enter the same data over and over. Is that cool or what? Also, since all the updates that I have not been on top of since I quit using Take-a-Hop the available info for almost all AMC stations is awesome. It even has the AMC Grams loaded. It's like I got all the AMC stations right in my iPad. Very handy. So please disregard the old post because so far this app is a 5-star rating. Thanks Rob G and my apologies for the rant earlier on. My previous post read: Does not work at all. Just sits and stares at me. Some items can be entered others cannot. Unable to enter countries of destination and sometimes it just crashes. I am using this on an iPad Pro, the latest model and it does not work. Many of the e-mails embedded into take-a-hop are not updated and bases are not receiving the e-mails. Deleted it and will go back to just sending raw e-mails, that way I know I'm signing up for Space "A". Not ready for Prime Time.

Great app. This is one app that is will worth the money. Unbelievable amount of information right at your finger tips. If you can use space "A" flights, this app is a "have to have".

App design flaw. You can’t see any of the text font to register. Useless.

Great App. I plan on trying to SpaceA around the country this summer, and having all the SpaceA information at my finger tips is great. Last year, I spent a lot of time locating the Space A number for different bases, sending the emails, then trying to find numbers and types of local transportation. This app has all that information located on my iPhone and iPad. Thanks for making traveling a little easier!

incredibel support. What a great app, i have been traveling spaceA for years and have had to spend many hours finding the info that is at your finger tips with this app signe up, loding, rental cars ect... it makes things so easy, Also i had a minor problem with appels resent update i contacted the provder he got back with me and updated the app within 24hours you cannot beat that kind of service, Thanks

Must Have for Space-A!. I used the Take-A-Hop app for the first time recently to sign up for space-A from Eglin AFB to Pope AAF. I have to say it exceeded my expectations. It worked perfectly! It really cuts down on the hassle factor, and makes signing up a breeze. It also provides an abundance of related travel information at your fingertips. For Space-A travelers with a smart phone or iPad I would consider this app as an essential piece of travel gear. It is well worth the very small fee for the app, and the developer is continuing to update and add new features on a regular basis. I love it!

Outstanding. Great app for those Space-A travelers on the go. Much easier to sign-up for travel using a mobile device then the previous web-based app.

Nothing like it anywhere. This is the premier app for military Space Available travel. Each update enhances an already great app and I rely on it on each trip I take. Worth every cent.
