Great for digital art. I use this for some of my 'masterpieces.' Just kidding but the app is very user friendly, never crashes and adds a lot to my little pictures. I really enjoy this app and heartily recommend it.

Lots of FUN!. Just got it on a freebie deal, and so far, it's loads of fun. Lots of options, though it won't open some of them, such as the "longer tail", and those buttons below that one. Hoping to get all options working soon.

Why u should try it. I like this app it is good for dark days or when you want to see fireworks you might even think it is loud and trust me if you rate this and you are normal like me you will give it five stars like I did and if someone says this is a bad app they have problems as soon as you get this app you will think big deal fireworks you can also watch them wherever you go like on road trips vacations and even more I really hope you like this app as much as I do enjoy a front row seat of awesome fireworks

Needs more functionality. This is a great app for looks. It would be nice to see small trails headed up before each mortar explodes. Also maybe one other effect other than mortars, I'm thinking of those that go up then wiggle around after the mortar explodes. Overall it's really nice though.

Needs Works. Fireworks are supposed to explode, this sounds like someone banging on a Trash Can. Shouldn't an app called Real fireworks sound like Real fireworks? Then, the Images are fuzzy, if it were supposed to be an odd visualizer app, or, but this is supposed to be Real fireworks, and the Firework effect look like odd crayon drawings! Worst of all, this app is not Retina ready at all, I paid a lot for this device, here's a thought, try supporting it!

Fireworks. This is a great app. It's fun watching the way this works. Highly recommended. I like the idea that one can touch the screen and watch the explosion where the screen is touched. Great job.

Beautiful!. A simple app that creates really beautiful fireworks - quite wonderful. Just like watching real fireworks, sound effects and all. The "Artist" option is a beautiful variation on fireworks that creates pretty fairy dust-like images of varying colors.

Good app. This is a good app, there are a good amount of setting. The only thing is that there should be a setting for having the fire works shoot up from the bottom, and not just have them explode right when you touch the screen.

Fireworks are a blast!. This app is so much fun! Originally I downloaded the free app--you know, for the kids...and I had so much fun showing it to people that I ended up buying it! Money well spent! I never get tired of showing it off! Oh, yeah, and the kids like it, too!!

What about a finale?. I LOVE this app but I do think it should have a timer. You know, watch for 15 or 20 minutes and build up to a finale? Great even without that. I do love fireworks,

Beautiful!. This is the prettiest, most realistic looking and sounding and adjustable fireworks app I have discovered. There are lots of modes to experiment with. I just now downloaded and already I love it! Just in time for Fourth of July. Highly recommend!

Great but..... This is a pretty cool app. My only problem with it is that there should be a little more customization options like being able to sort of flick the fireworks up before they explode or synchronized explosions and whatnot. Just an idea. I'd give a 5 out of 5 if it had that

Very fun!. A very well-done app! Six different types of fireworks, five color modes, and four variables to change (particle size, explosion size, tail length and gravity speed) make an almost infinite variety of combinations, PLUS interactivity, so you can either just watch, or touch the screen, drag your finger, etc. and the fireworks will go off wherever you touch. Kids love it and entertaining for adults, too.

They're a blast!. I was interested in this app because I'm into model trains. There's an area on our layout with carnival rides etc. I wanted to try projecting a firework show on the wall behind it. This fireworks app is exactly what I was looking for. With all the fine tuning it is capable of, you can actually "miniaturize" the blasts. It's really fun. Thanks guys, Frank.

Good But Not Great. It's a pretty good app, especially on sale for $.99. (I wouldn't have paid more) It has a fair number of presets and options but all are a bit samey. There only seems to be one (not very realistic) sound effect at one volume level. Settings are global so there's only one style of firework at a time. Stereo only seems to be used by the random fireworks, not those made by touching, and handling of multitouch is only so-so. There are no settings for numbers of particles, types of fireworks, or timing. If this were the visual equivalent of "Storm Sim" it would be great! As-is it's okay.

4th July. It work out nice because I can't get out a watch fireworks tonight and these our better then nothing! My grandson like them also

GREAT FUN. New Years, 4th of July any time of year! I love this little app. I can manipulate the action anyway that I choose. Why wait for midnight on December 31st when you enjoy fireworks early? I love the colors, too. Who could ask for more?

Artist Mode is Fantastic. Tinkering with the settings was very enlightening, finding the artist mode made it 5 star. With a little imagination and a few other apps on my iMac, I am able to record custom fireworks with music and come close to syncing. This opened up yet another world of creativity. A lot of fun. I thought this would be a fun way to introduce fireworks to my super sensitive kid who isn't crazy about loud noises without dealing with the traffic of the firework shows. My son really liked it and had a great time last night!

GREAT App! Please Upgrade to 64 Bits!. I use this app much more often than just on the Fourth of July. I mirror my iDevice to my big screen TV to launch a party with a bang or to celebrate a local sports team victory. I do screen captures to add some fireworks fun to my slide shows. It looks terrific on a big screen and the sound is as impressive to match. I would certainly pay for an upgrade.

There are two versions this is the better one. There are two versions of this app. This is the free version without the banner ad and locked controls. It's pretty good for the ooo and ah of fireworks without the hazards of real fireworks. If you have Apple TV the AirPlay works great from my ipad.

Real fireworks. I bought this for my 2 month grandson. All of the beautiful colors fascinate him and he is learning to touch the screen for more. What a wonderful way to introduce a child to color. I have found myself watching the beautiful explosions of color and taking pictures of them to use as backgrounds for picture colleges. What a totally fun app. It is truly mesmerizing.

As good as it gets. Awesome graphics with realistic particle motion and sound. Just in time for 4th July. This app has options which will allow you to tweak and capture your own fireworks show minus the smoke. Much easier way to enjoy watching your $ going up in smoke than annoying the neighbours with the added bonus of having a fireworks show whenever you feel like celebrating

Fantastic!!!. Real Fireworks is a great app for not only cause and effect play, visual attention and to facilitate reaching and targeting...it can be used as a way to introduce kids to the realistic sound and visuals of fireworks. By encouraging kids to play, you can empower them to grade the input of firework events, and thereby learn to anticipate what is going to happen at a real event. There is a tremendous amount of variation to this app in the settings tab, and it is fun to experiment with all of it and or tailor it to a specific child's needs. I think that this app is a keeper! There are links to social media, but no ads or IAP.

Be warned do not buy!!!!. I got the full app. And now they want me to pay again just to stop all the advertising on this fireworks app. You can not enjoy the program because of being bombarded with advertising for more games. You are required to pay another 4.99 just to stop the advertising! What a rip off after I paid for the full version!

The best one out there. I've had this app for a couple of yrs or so, and really is a lot of fun. I have it on an iPad Pro 12.9, older iPad a few yrs old, iPhone 6plus, and an iPhone 7plus. Looks great on all of them, and really stands out on the iPad Pro. One of my favorites

Found it on sale. At full price, it seems like an expensive toy, but free and without ads, it's great! Lots of options for customizing the fireworks makes it fun to play around with.

AWESOME GAME. This game is amazing! It's so realistic!!! But I do have one question though, how come the fireworks I make when I touch the screen are a lot smaller than the auto fireworks.

Great display of colors!. I like the colors, and it's also very calming. I have it in a folder I call mood & play. Things I can do, that I can play with, added to the calming nature of the app. Love it!

Love it!. You can mess around with the settings, but my is set up to act and sound just like real fireworks. I got it for kids, and they do think it's fun, but I find it strangely satisfying myself!

My only 5 star rating of 2015!!!. I love Wisconsin for 1 thing and it's not the Packers (CA native), it's the roadside firework superstores. They're "superstores" because besides being able to fill a shopping cart with ordinance 365 days-a-year (in many cases), you can get handles of liquor and find easy parking in a lot too big to imagine full (3rd of July?). This app is great for all the time I'm not in Wisconsin.

Smooth Graphics. Beautiful fireworks display and very realistic. I would like to be able to create more variety of fireworks, but maybe I just don't understand how to change the configurations. Anyway, it's a neat app.

Not worth the money!. I downloaded the full version from "apps gone free". However, it is only free for 24 hours! What a rip that it's not even going to be free for the fourth. The app is $4.99 if you want to keep it the full version and it's not worth even $0.99. It does have nice visuals and you can toggle with some of the settings but there is nothing spectacular about this app. Sorry but I will delete this. Good thing I didn't waste my money on this or I would have fought for a refund.

Fantastic!!!. As long as my a/c is working, this is perfect for fireworks. Over 100* outside, way too hot to be outdoors. The displays are so realistic. Glad to have found this app.

Awesome!. So fun, eye catching and entertaining! The only improvement I can think of is to be able to connect it to my pandora radio so that the flashes coincide with the music! Now that would be stellar!!!

Kid friendliness. This app has been helpful in settling a crying toddler during long car trips. Would be better if you could lock it so that they couldn't open the menu etc without a simple number code (the time to enter for which is only 5 secs or so, so that they can get back to making colour splashes).

Live show. As beautiful and as exciting as it would be seeing real fireworks... Only thing missing is the rest of the crowd saying "Aw, Ah."With the app you can control the noise. :) Our students, some who have no speech, tell their story through their body language. Real fireworks. Pretty and fun! Currently hiding out in the air conditioning due to the heat wave, and I get to play with fireworks! Is there any way to put them on a photo? Love it. I can see this app being given a work out in this house, with all of the flashing lights and colours. At 99 cents at the moment decided it was worth the purchase. Only thing I would change is to have an option of choosing colours yourself rather than per set colours. Looks great in a dark room :)

Has potential. This is definitely one of the best looking firework apps however I'm disappointed with the number of options that come with purchasing the full version. For the options included I'm surprised it's more than $.99. Stuff I'd like to see: - bigger variety of fireworks rather than just the same type over and over. If there are different types already...they aren't different enough. - option to randomize the explosions. Eg: some with bigger explosions, some smaller, long tails, short, very bright, dim, then of course different types of fireworks, etc. - ability to control the frequency of explosions. The fireworks look really good, but the lack of variety make it a boring show. All things said, it is a good app though I'd like to see more from it to justify its cost.

TD. This app is nice, but there are NEVER and grand finales. It would be very cool to have a grand finale go off after about 3 to 5 minutes of fireworks. Might keep attention a bit better.

Only Thing Missing Is . . .. I really like this App. Very reminiscent of the real experience. Only thing(s) missing are the grass, blanket, picnic dinner, friends & family, and the summer breeze with gun powdery smell wafting by.

Cool app. Good but wish in the artist mode the blasts lasted a little longer so that you can actually see the final image but thats just me. Really awesome!
