Magical. Beautiful and pleasant to navigate and look at. I enjoy using this app to check the cycles of the moon phases. It so happens that was able to catch and witness last nights Luna eclipse in the frigid cold for a short bit. The sky was clear and the moon was bright. To see the earth’s shadow come upon the moon was amazing and beautiful. I also enjoy listening to the mysterious and magical quality sound music when the app is used.

A Beautifully Perfect Lunar App. This app has info several other of my similar apps have, just not all together. And this app offers so much more, as the preview pictures demonstrate. The Zodiac signs and the music are enchanting. I particularly love calendar view with each lunar phase or zodiac phase laid out for the entire month. Needs landscape orientation fixed. At least on my iPad, the "landscape" mode is "off and on" ... sometimes there, other times not.

Almost perfect app. This app is beautiful and covers everything one could ask for except the ability to store several different locations so it would be easy to check them without having to enter coordinates or find them on a map! Other than that 5 stars.

Wow!. I have had Deluxe Moon Pro on my iPhone for a few years. It’s been a daily use app and I’ve seen it continue to expand and improve. This version for iPad is different with the interface, but still carries the same information. I love the difference! Beautiful app and extremely informative. If you love the night sky and follow the moon in all her phases I believe you will enjoy this app!

A Significant Improvement Over The iPod Version. For years, I had the iPod version of this app, but the new iPad version is a significant improvement over the old app, with a more detailed display and better graphics.

Almost there..... Like the other reviews, I have the iPhone app as well and love both of them. The artwork and operation are smooth and flawless. The integration of the astrological information has allowed me to focus on a single app, rather than the 2-3 I had before. This would get ***** if it had a widget for the home screen. I’ve had to load the iPhone app with this one for that purpose. It really needs that feature to be complete. Thanks!

Zodiac? really?. This app has all the zodiac information along with the moon information. I was looking for scientific information, like times, and where to expect the moon to rise, etc, which this app actually has. but... why mix it with something such filthy as zodiac? Not every body likes that stuff. Some of us know the relationship of zodiac, horoscope, future forecast and whitchery as well as spiritism and demoniac stuff. If I was looking for that, I would look for a whitchery app.

Cool app. Cool app. Provides all the data you could possibly want on moon phases, sunrise/sunset, moonrise/moonset. If I had two wish list items, one would be to remove the background animation. And the other would be to find a way to declutter the interface a bit. It's almost too much information at times.

Beautiful but full of typos and weird English.. Obviously the person who wrote the text for this otherwise amazing app has English as a second language and didn’t use an editor or even a simple spell checker. Although humorous at times, it’s like a beautiful scenic landscape marred by random trash.

My favorite moon app. I've had this a couple years and it gives all the stuff I'm looking for, phase, times, signs, seasonal stuff and other cool info...it's very easy to use. Highly recommended!

Doesn't work on iPad Air. Only lists 8 of 12 months on the calendar for any year; September through December are missing. The biggest complaint is that it does not tell me the time of the full or new moon, even when it knows my exact location. WASTE OF MONEY - DO NOT BUY!!!

Not good at all. I would like to say the same thing that trainman said & add the fact that according to this app the sunrise is around 10.30 pm & moonrise is always wrong, but i must say that the iPhone version is so good & working at its best

Best app I have ever bought!. I have always found it difficult to understand the intricacies of the moon. This app is brilliant showing exactly where to expect moon rise, current star sign, and much more. So much information day to day it is addictive! The compass component is helpful, I enjoy just walking around watching it move! The sounds really add atmosphere also.

Pretty much useless. The app is beautiful. Maybe too beautiful at the cost of performance. It constantly freezes and is extremely slow to use. Performance is so bad, I wonder why they decided to release it. I'm using an iPad Air and even if I close most other apps, it still runs like a dog. It's completely useless I it's current state. Make it perform better, please.

Excellent educational app. We're currently studying " The Earth In Space". This is an excellent app that the kids really get into. It raises questions and then gives the answers. The kids love it !

Good with disappointment. It is a very interesting and useful app but the calendar does not automatically update. With all the complexity of the subject it is disappointing that the app does not know what day it is.

C R. App. This app WILL give you cancer. It crashes, freezes and is inferior in every way. The developers deserve to catch gonorrhea. Or chlamydia. Maybe syphilis. All three. And then they should be forced to watch koala porn. Not that good. Looks pretty but crashes and isn't quite at functional and dynamic as you really want. And anything that WANTS be serious science needs to ditch the mumbo jumbo ooga booga horoscope stuff. Really? We need more pseudo science? Real science is WAY more exciting than that gibberish. Next thing they'll want us to believe that Aliens built the pyramids and Stone Henge.

Beautiful and informative. Much more information than I thought it would have and very well presented. I would certainly recommend this app.

Hopeless. I've had this app on my iPhone for ages and only recently on my iPad. The iPhone version shows the moon day dates and times plus the void of course but the iPad version only shows the void of course so it's really difficult to figure out which time frame all the information refers to. But the most annoying thing by far is that despite turning on my Location Services (and allowing Deluxe Moon access while using) plus connecting to Wi-Fi, apparently my location is in the northern hemisphere! Not impressed. I have tried everything to alter the location but it won't budge.

buggy. shows the full moon/new moon on a different day to when it actually says full moon etc. so calendar shows little circle on say, the 26th but you have to press the 27th for the title to say full moon. so which day is it? buggy and not nearly accurate enough

Moon phases calendar. Love it. Being a person that runs her life by the astrological way of life I am impressed with that side of things. I just want a little more like having it as a permanent thing and not having to exit it to activate an alarm on another ap (or can I do that and I am not seeing it!) The night time part of it awesome and have never seen something quite like it. the music is quiet and not something that is recognizable so that means that you are not waiting for the next note and taking away from the whole experience of your eyes rather than your ears. The whole thing on the whole though is slow (but that could just be me) and it took me ages to flick between night and day modes. Other than those little tid-bits I am thoroughly impressed with the product and I hope that there are more updates that make it even more impressive.

Stunning visuals!. Great graphics and a wealth of lunar information. Astrological info is pretty generic but I did not purchase this app for that purpose.

Visibly and technically excellent. One of the better apps. Adding support for landscape mode would make this app pretty much perfect.

I am a yoga teacher, and many are coming back to spirituality by turning to the earth and the moon cycles. This app provides valuable information to track the moon and other cycles.

Regorge de données sur notre satellite naturel mais nous renseigne aussi sur notre étoile : heures de lever, coucher, ensoleillement, éclipses, équinoxes, etc. J'avais commencé à rédiger cet avis pour rapporter que l'heure avancée n'était pas pris en charge... Je viens de trouver qu'en effet, rien ne se passe lorsqu'on passe à l'heure avancée (i.e. que les levers, couchers, etc. annoncés sont une heure trop tôt). Il suffit alors, simplement, lors des changements d'heure, de régler d'une heure en avant ou en arrière «le décalage TUC», à partir du menu «Décalage». Oups, je viens de me rendre compte qu'en effet, après avoir bien régler le décalage TUC, les heures de lever et de coucher du soleil et de la lune s'affichent correctement... mais d'autres éphémérides, telles équinoxes, solstices, phases lunaires, s'affichent avec une heure, en plus ou en moins. Ce n'est peut-être pas catastrophique, si vous manquez, par une heure, le solstice ou la pleine lune 😉 Je m'empresse donc de le recommander pour faire le plein de données astronomiques.

So many bugs.... I really thought this app was going to be great. Until it started crashing everytime I tried to do anything. I tried to turn off zodiac BS, but even though the switch is set to off, it's still there. I closed the app, restarted my ipad mini, and nothing... Still there. Also, every time I try to change the settings there is a 2 second lag at least and sometimes they still don't take.

Moon. I have always been mesmerized by the moon. When I was a child growing up in the country, I would lie at the foot of my bed and stare out the window looking up at the moon in amazement. In those days, the night sky was crystal clear and if there was no moon, I would stare at the stars.

Good program. Haven't seen a program this comprehensive and helpful since Lunabar, but when you toggle the use sensors option to yes, instead of using the sensors to reorient the program based on what position the iPad is in, it locks the screen. Other than that, no complaints from me. Love the graphics and the soothing music.

Got this for iPad 2 Air and can't download to iPhone 6. This review is not for the functionality it is because I paid $2.99 for it and I went to put it on my phone. Doesn't work. You have to pay an additional $2.99. I have other moon apps that I've paid for that automatically load onto my phone. Not this one. If you think you can pay for this once you can't. They make you pay over and over for the same app on different devices. Very disappointing.

Nice app, but needs a few kinks worked out. Nice app, lots of great info. Huge program so when it ceases to rotate and I have to delete and re-download, it takes some time. Annoying . . . Also, sometimes it doesn't update to the current date automatically. Hope they fix these issues soon because it is a pretty kool app when it is working right!

Excellent. This program is the best. I use it along with my other astronomy apps whenever I take my telescope out at night or even during the daytime. I use it a lot of times at night without my scope just to view and learn about the moon.

Beautiful!. Please add alarms for moon phases to the iPad version. This app is beautiful, detailed, informative and all round fantastic!! A great addition would be to incorporate pop up alerts when certain situations are happening or about to happen. Some of these situation alerts could be when there's a full moon, new moon or when specific astrology information occurs.

Thorough and Gorgeous. This app has a ton of information and is presented in an unbelievably gorgeous way. There isn't a single thing I do not like about it and I can't think of anything that they left out. There are a lot of different perspectives of information including astrological. But don't let that dissuade you if you are only interested in an astronomy app. Great, great, great!

Like it but it doesn't work!. I really like this app but the functionality is lacking. It never works in portrait! I also can't ever access the options or the spinning calendar and zodiac. They are there when I first open the app but then they disappear after about 5 seconds and I can't get them back. Please fix these issues. I really do like the app but I'd like to have full functionality. I've been waiting to review it for a while hoping it was just a glitch. I even emailed support but nothing changed. I wanted to give you five stars but I just can't with these bugs.

Really useful. I like the app. I normally by the Moon guides each year, but this app makes it easy to follow the daily cycle of the moon. The write ups are useful for my own interpretations of the moon's trek through each sign. Short of a aspectarian chart, this app is wnderful. I am not sure why the other writer can not use the app in landscape mode. I can use it in both portrait and landscape.

Best app ever!. Not only does this amazing app tell you what moon we live in each day, but it has tabs on the side that explains that moon day and what are its characteristics and recommendations for the day. If you swipe that part, you can read about how the personality traits of someone born that day.

A must buy!. I have to say, the menu for this app is absolutely beautiful. Between the retina graphics and the interface, this should be a must buy app! It is very easy to navigate through the different features of the app, from the built in compass to the Astronomical calendar. I love it!

Deluxe Moon Hd. A very wonderful program. When divining with the Yi Jing it is wonderful to see that the Universe is in sync. I enjoy the music that accompanies the app and the graphics are clear and crystal. I enjoy being able to see the sunrises and sunsets so times for the is nice to have on my iPad instead of having to depend on the desktop or my phone. Namaste.

Great app. I loved,loved,loved this app it is my most favorite with all the effects it actually helped me get the chimes set right on my grandfather clock that had been off for years. Because there was no one that works on that kind of clock. It uses the moon phases to chime.

This was more than I was looking for but. am glad that I found it. Has all the info I wanted plus more to expand my knowledge. Love the look and the movement. The only addition I would make is a widget to be able to add this to the Notification panel. Highly recommended!

quick zodiac. Allows me to know which zodiac sign I'm entertaining for each moon phase. Quick & to the point information. I use it daily. The only negative thing would be the compass interference I receive from either my ipad cover (magnets to keep it closed) or my gloves (magnets inside the finger area to keep them pulled back) which is totally my own doing!

Moon Watcher. This app has a lot of information it is great!

Good feature set. This is a great app for pretty much anything you want to know about the moon at any given day. The interfaces is nice to use, and the graphics are very nice. My only two complaints are the lack of ability to rotate the screen, and the inability to listen to my own music while using the app (the app has ambient music that can't be switched off).

Wonderful app. We are not SERIOUS astronomy buffs . . . but this app gives us lots of great information, promptly. It has worked perfectly for us; there are great features; we keep forgetting to take it outside using the "night" red version. (Now that the holidays are over . . ) It's just a delight to use. Highly recommend.
