Drive Weather with Live Radar Comments & Reviews 2026

Great for road trips!. I used the free version of this app for a road trip from Minnesota to St. Pete Beach,FL. There was rain and thunder storms shown on the app and the location and intensity shown was spot-on with reality! I used the radar overlay to help me decide whether to pull off and wait out the storm or press on and get through it. I pressed on and was out of it in 30 min but if I’d waited it out I would have been delayed for hours as the storm cell was large and moving west to east and I was going north to south. Highly recommend!

From a trucker. I paid for the upgraded version of the app as I drive for a living. This app is invaluable when your doing your trip plan. Truckers know that wind is a dangerous as snow, maybe more so. Knowing the direction is key so of yer light you can explore a route that gets you out of any weather situation. With the premium subscription, which is a steal btw, you can slide through a 72 hour forecast. I’ve been able to shoot through the “holes” in weather systems by adjusting my start time or where I shut down. For a trucker that just means $$$. I’ve actually made much more keeping my wheels turning than the subscription to get all the features. I highly highly recommend this app to professional drivers.

Your app. I think any app that requires on going subscription is a rip off and a scam. It seem that so many are willing to pay a unnecessary subscription fee that all apps are going that way. If my only option is on going rip off then I’ll do the old school way and you sell your app to those that choose to be lazy. Aside from that I don’t believe if your sent some unfortunate into a blizzard that you would pay theyre motel fees. But you want them to pay your fees seems a bit scandalous. Keep your app I refuse to pay a subscription, if it were a one time fee that’s one thing. But no you want a payment over and over and over again. I would recommend replying to this because I’m only going cuss you out. Scammers

Gold Standard!. I’ve been using this app for many years - in my own cross-country MC travels and to help incoming visitors to anticipate what the weather WILL BE as the trip unfolds. It’s uncanny how both timing and meaningful details of weather information are consistently so accurate. This app helps to ensure that I select the best departure time, plan best timing for stops, select better routes and minimize travel disruptions. I’ve bought subscriptions for kids and have recommended this app to countless people. We can’t yet control the weather, but this app helps us easily make practical plans to deal with it effectively.

Fantastic Travel Weather Planner. I recommend the paid version that allows you to plan beyond a couple days, but the free version is good to give it a try. You can adjust your speed of travel and see wind ( including gusts) rain, ice, snow, tornado warnings, and temps all along your route based on any departure time up to 5 days out (with paid version). Easy to use and accurate. Especially excellent for RV Travel or any kind of travel in the north, higher elevations, or anywhere that tornados could pop up which seems to be anywhere. All road travelers should use this. I have recommended it to countless friends, family members and fellow travelers. Thank you to the team at Drive Weather.

Waste of Money. I enter my starting point and destination, then scroll to adjust my departure time. The app immediately resets my travel information. Every single time. I tried restarting the app. I restarted my phone. The app does not perform well. It’s a waste of money. I requested a refund within minutes of my purchase and still haven’t received it yet, 3 days later. Update to respond to developer response: The free version doesn’t allow you to see the weather for a trip in the future. You have to pay for that. That is the aspect of the app that does not work. And I did submit a request for a refund almost immediately after purchase. I tried minutes after my purchase, but Apple wouldn’t allow the request to be processed until after money changed hands.

Amazing!!! Kept me safe on a cross country drive during winter!!. I was relocating from the west coast of US to the east coast and ended up driving my car, in the middle of a pandemic and during winter. The scariest part was not knowing what kind of weather patterns and road conditions/closures I would see along my route. I definitely did not want to find bad weather when it hit me but wanted to know ahead of time so I could plan for an alternate route. I tried many apps to get this info but I had to do a lot of work to accurately interpret the weather. I stumbled upon DriveWeather app and I was amazed at how intuitive and easy it was to get all the weather information along my route in a few clicks. It told me how the weather would look over the next 7 days, in drive time. I could also adjust my start time and it would tell me how the weather would be like at each hour till I reach my destination. It was spot on!! I had 3 routes planned as backup in case weather turned bad. Every morning, I would check weather using this app on my planned route and if it was unsafe, I would choose an alternate safer route. Having this ability gave me confidence to complete a 3400 mile drive in 7 days that took me through 13 states. My original plan was to take the longer southern pacific route that hugs Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Carolinas and then drive north to New York. It was a 10 day drive but with the help of this app, I was able to cut my trip down to 7 days as I could see better weather on the other routes on a day-to-day basis. Ended up taking AZ, NM, TX, OK, MO, KY, OH, PA, I would highly recommend this app, it was a game changer and life saver for me. If you’re a trucker or drive long distance frequently, this app will be super helpful. I will continue to use it regularly. The annual subscription is totally worth it. The app developer has also been very responsive and incorporated some of my feedback in the app to help make my cross country planning a lot more easier.

💯. If I could give this app 10 stars, I would!!! My husband and I had to drive some heavy equipment from South Carolina to Oregon. AAA had provide a trip tick for us that recommended staying as far south as possible and driving up through CA to avoid potentially hazardous weather. That was going to take longer, but safety was important to us... I ended up Googling apps that determined best routes given weather/driving conditions- this one came up. It had good reviews, so I went ahead and purchased it. It suggested the route we WANTED to take- so... although it was kind of a gamble taking I-80w through Nebraska, Wyoming, and 84 (which had just been closed due to hazardous traffic) we followed the route the app suggested and made sure we made it through passes before the app said they would get bad and it was RIGHT ON YHE MONEY!!! The $10 I paid for this app was probably the best $10 I have ever paid for anything!!! I will be a customer for life as we also take several motorcycle trips a year- and knowing where and when to expect foul weather is very important. This app is the real deal!!!!

Awesome tool for motorcycle trip planning and riding. This might just be my new favorite app for helping me when planning motorcycle trips. I have a 5 day trip coming up and this app let me import my gpx files and then shows the weather for the entire trip based on the time I will be at each waypoint. The app show temps, rain, snow and storms. It also shows wind and any weather warnings as well as live weather radar. It is CarPlay compatible, so I can see it on my motorcycle CarPlay screen while riding, where I use the radar to change my route if necessary. I had a small issue with the app, so I sent an inquiry to the developer who responded in just a few hours with answers - outstanding support by the developer. I consider the annual subscription price to be money well spent.

Super handy road trip tool. Drive Weather is an incredibly handy tool to almost instantly check the weather forecast alongalong an entire route for several days of driving. Or to compare the weather on multiple route options and departure dates. I drive from the PNW to the Midwest multiple times a year, early spring late fall. It’s so good to know which passes I should be expecting mountain snows or thunderstorms on the plains—and plan accordingly. No-brained for the price if you regularly make multi-day trips.

Perfect app for those that drive long distances. This is what I was looking for as I drive 30,000/yr. I found the app very accurate and am able to plan my trips avoiding unnecessary weather conditions. I could have used this last year when we had a snow blizzard with high winds, drifting snow and low visibility. If I had this app I would have chosen to drive the next day avoiding the long delays……a 5 hour drive turned into a 9+ hour drive. UGH! I highly recommend this app!

Deceptive. Definition makes it look like you can “map” a trip & know the weather along the way for the free version. You have to PAY money in order to use it the way anyone who downloads it wants to use it. I can’t stand liars! I would literally have added “pro” options for extra convenience but this is a farce. Download it, but you can’t use it properly unless you pay money! No thanks!! Deleting! **response to developer: there was snow in the forecast, not blue skies! I tried MORE THAN SEVERAL times to use it to route my college student to safety when they ended up in the eye of the storm while driving back to college. It kept telling me I had to pay for the map feature in order to check her route. I stand by my review! Got ahold of a friend who’s a weatherman & he was tremendous help!

Thank you John!!!!!. I met a friend at a former job. A great guy that genuinely cares about people’s safety and growth. I told him about the company I was employed at and the type of trailers I would be pulling. He looked at the routes and immediately told me to download this app and to upgrade to the premium service in order to have better route planning due to weather. Without him, I’d still be fumbling with other weather apps and guessing and hoping. Thanks John for everything that you do. You’re a rare person and one that I proudly call friend!!!! Take care of Lily.

Best Travel Planning App!. My husband travels every two weeks from Texas to Nevada. I bought the pro version and it was a huge help to plan his trips around snowstorms this winter. I recently contacted support with a suggestion and they responded to me within a day. After a brief back and forth in real time, support is going to see if they can add my suggestion. I am thoroughly impressed with the app and support. I don’t often recommend apps, but since buying this one I have recommended it to my siblings , my husband’s siblings, co-workers and friends, most of whom now have it, too, and thank me for it. So thank you for a great app!

Works Great!. Going into year three with this app. I use it only once a year — when I drive to Ohio and then to Florida at XMAS. I’m more than happy to pay the subscription for that one use. When I first downloaded the app, I had a question. The developer immediately contacted me, and I mean immediately, to walk me through the solution. Since then, the app has improved with new cool features. That first year, with the help of Drive Weather, I was able to convince my wife that we needed to delay our departure. If you drive and want to be safe, this is a the app for you.

Major Glitches. I am so anxious to find an app that does what this app claims to do, but this one isn’t there. After several times, deleting and reconfiguring a road trip I have already planned on another app, I am not going to waste any more time on this. Each time I tried, stop number 4 could not get the times right, and therefore threw off the entire trip beyond that. I can’t possibly leave a stop at 6AM, make another stop, 50 miles away, and stay there 4 hrs (leave here at 10:48AM), drive another 50 miles, and get to my next stop at 7:58AM. Especially since the route is going east across time zones, not the opposite. I really tried to get that stop fixed, including changing locations, just adding the time there, to the time at the previous stop, and deleting and re adding it multiple times. Each time, the stop 4 made the same timed error. There are other things that make the app not so user friendly, like not having a location for Death Valley, a National Park, and not allowing you to add a waypoint off the designated route. Sometimes diversions are part of a trip, and I am looking for a travel app with weather, that allows you to set your own trip. This is not that. It is a fun app to play with but, it isn’t as functional as I would like when planning a trip across country.

This app will save you from accidentally killing yourself. I decided to drive around America and put 12,000 miles on my camper van in a month point I drive into Tallahassee Florida and it was completely black. I drove for miles right through the city center and everything was black. This was way more than a power outage. This was really spooky. I finally came across a cluster of stores that had electricity. I then learned from the staff that they had a tornado rip through Tallahassee at 6 AM. Everyone was freaked out. I could’ve driven right into it… Only after that, I searched and found this app which honestly is a lifesaver… And it’s accurate too. 5 stars🎉

WAS Indispensabile NOW NOT (update). Update: I have not used this app in a while. I used to have a paid subscription, but I’m just not taking as many road trips. I’m taking a long drive today and opened it up. I cannot even type in the destination address. Every time I input any character it asks me if I want to upgrade or use the free version. I hit free and then put in another number of the address and it comes up again. I thought this must be a bug so I deleted the app and reinstalled it. apparently, that is the new normal. That’s too bad because it’s a great app and I recommended it to so many people. Past (5 star) review: I’ve been using this app for at least a year. I love how it will tell me how the weather will change, depending upon what time I’m going to leave. Twice in the last trip that I took, its advice has saved me from getting caught in terrible storms. I change my route, depending upon the weather and change the time I’m going to leave, depending upon the weather. It’s really great.

Contentious Developer/Poor Ui. After watching the video tutorial, I decided the UI was not vetted with any sort of formal usability testing making it difficult to see and use. But, I was still considering purchasing- then read the reviews. The developer seems arrogant and contentious is his responses - and frankly I don’t have time to deal with a prima donna. Sir, even if you are utterly convinced you are right, you will not be successful if you feel you must “win” every interaction with a customer. Some humility and grace will build a customer base as opposed to alienating the very people you need to adopt your app.

UPDATE. Updated review- I have been a long time paying subscriber to this app. When they raised the subscription rate $2, I went along with it. Now I've just received a notice that they are going to raise it $5 more. That's a hefty increase, especially for the loyal subs who have supported the app all along. Consider me now, unsubscribed. Previous review-There are very few apps that I will pay for. But, as an intermittent traveler, this one practically pays for itself for the important and accurate weather info it provides. It’s clear that they care about how their app works when you look at the version history. They are constantly fine-tuning it to be even better. The sliding “leave” time scale is immensely helpful in avoiding bad weather and calculating driving in the dark. It doesn’t stop there. Wind, temperature, freezing rain, etc. are all easily shown. It even shows the likelihood of the various conditions. Yes, they've raised the price of this app recently by $2 but unlike other apps, I am happy to pay for it for the ease of use and peace of mind while on the road.

Good. I have been happy with Drive Weather. It has a multitude of choices to view! For example, you can see wind, fog, rain, temperatures, and many more on your entire route! I especially like the time marker. You can set your route then adjust the start time to determine when you choose to start your journey. When traveling through major cities, this is a great tool to determine what the weather is going to be at a specific time! It also offers multiple routes, which helps me to decide the route that has the best and safest weather to travel in. I am impressed with this application. I use it on my adventures. Thanks. Denise

Went From Effective To Where’s Waldo Madhouse Map App. Update:This is clearly a developer more interested in giving attitude & obnoxious responses to people calling the clunky app getting worse. Check the negative reviews & see the developer response too. Original: I paid to subscribe and initially found the app a bit clunky but usable for some estimated driving weather. After a few weeks of not using it, I launched it to be horrified by a garbage UX and nightmare results. Going from Tampa Bay FL home to East Patchogue NY home 1100 miles away - with a couple of rest stops and one hotel night in 3 cities along I-95 - provided me with a 3700 miles route …. LITERALLY through KANSAS. I deleted a couple of the stops… to be given a new route …. From Florida to BOSTON to Long Island NY. Just went from 4-Stars to 1-Star Is Too Much. The UX is not even worth wasting time writing about.

UPDATE: Appears I cannot determine my own route. Response: yes, I see using waypoints works ONLY if I add each city along the route. The options should automatically include more routes. OR allow additional routes without having to enter each individual city. I should be able to tell it to use route I10 and I40 for comparison of weather. The current design is not end user friendly in my opinion. So yes, please provide a refund. I live in AZ and will be driving to northeastern IL. There are multiple routes, ie, I10, I40 I’ve used over the years. This app apparently determines the route and I can’t change it. I want to compare I40 to I10. But there doesn’t seem to be a way to make that happen. I just pd $5.99 to learn this. I have no use for this app and there isn’t any options for a refund if the app doesn’t fit my needs, within minutes. The free version is not useful as it has a very limited function. What’s the point of it being free when I cannot add the end destination? This lack of function makes it useless for me. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to waste my money ☹️

Best tool for planning drives!!!. What a fantastic app for looking at weather during a drive and planning! It is simple enough for determining drive time for short drives and robust enough with customizations for planning long drives. I recently completed a cross-country trip. This app allowed me to figure out where to stop and when to depart each day to dodge weather events throughout the trip. Examples: I got through one area just as it started snowing before it got bad enough to hinder driving. It allowed me to bypass a hail storm in an area and miss some major thunderstorms in another area. It also allowed me to get to my destination before a winter storm set in which is expected to dump 6” of snow. Now, I know that weather events can’t always be avoided, but I also see the advantage of this app is that you can at least know what to expect during the drive. If you drive, I highly recommend adding this app!

Very handy for RV owners. This is nothing less than awesome for an RV owner. It does what we used to do by hand - a lengthy effort. This app routes you and then uses weather forecasts along your route to let you know what to expect as you travel. On top of that it allows you to adjust your departure date / time to see how the weather along your route changes with the change in departure time. Weather forecasts are not entirely accurate sometimes but you can’t blame the app for that. This app is best suited for longer trips. If you are concerned about high winds along a route, this app will give you the forecast wind speeds as you travel the route. RV owners like us know how important it is to have an idea of winds along the route. Well worth the small annual fee.

Great Planning Tool. We’ve been doing a ton of cross country driving this spring and as seniors we really want to avoid bad weather when possible. This app has been so very helpful I can’t imagine traveling without it. It helps us know when to drive a bit longer or shorter for a break or overnight stay to avoid bad weather and showing temperatures across the miles helps to have the right clothing on hand. Next best innovation since GPS!

Disappointed. The app will not stop updating my start position back to my current location. I drive for a living and it makes planning my potential loads impossible as my current location is not relevant to why I purchased the app. What Happens: I’m able to enter a beginning and end for my trip. As I’m moving the date of departure to a future day the app all of a sudden changes the start location to my current location.

Almost…. We did a cross-country driving trip in February, and I tried out and bought the app then. It was useful for the first few days, and we managed to plan when to leave based on the displayed weather for a four-day itinerary that I input. It worked well. After that, putting in the evening stops individually just took too much time to do. There has to be maybe a default day length because inputting that you want to stop the drive at 4pm and restart at 9am next day for each day is just too hard. We ended up watching tv weather every day instead.

Fantastic App!!. Like so many other reviewers, I find this app indispensable. I make long road trips on a regular basis from the sometimes unpleasant weather of my home desert environment to the sometimes unpleasant weather environment of the Gulf Coast. I plan my departures in either direction based primarily on this app. Knowing what the weather will be like at a place by the time I get to that place without having to play games with a bunch of different weather apps is a game changer. Thank you Paxton!

Don’t bother unless you want to pay for a subscription to Pro. Free version only nominally functional. The worst part is before I could even really get a feel for this app, a persistent add came on the screen insisting I install Chrome. That is when I deleted the app from my phone. Note to creator: I do NOT use Chrome. I do NOT use Google Maps. I do NOT use google search engine. I do NOT use anything Google. I strongly resent Google forcing itself onto my phone. I purchased an iphone, not whatever piece of spy junk google sells. Google has NO RIGHT to muscle into my digital world. If this app has some sort of relationship with google which allows google to try to invade my space that should be prominently noted before people install this junk on their devices.

Saved us some serious weather issues. I just purchased this last week to help us plan our trip east across Canada from Kelowna BC to Ottawa ON. We are on day 2 and by using the app we planned our trip to avoid some nasty weather through the Rockies and are so pleased with the results. I’m looking forward to them continuing to improve the usability of some of the features, I haven’t found an easy way to modify a trips stops once pulling up the route, so just create a new one. But the value of this information far outweighs any of the user interface challenges.

Pretty Accurate. This app has proven to be a useful resource and has saved us from traveling through very bad weather. I have delayed our departures by hours and sometimes a day due to what the app is showing and have not been disappointed. Yesterday it saved us from driving through hail and tornado activity by leaving earlier than planned thereby traveling ahead of the activity. Arrived at the hotel 15 mins ahead of the massive storm.

Pretty cool when it works. I bought the Pro version a couple days ago. It works great until it doesn’t. Sometimes it gives no route at all… I plug in my cities and request route info, but nothing happens. I will say I enjoy the heck out of it when it actually gives me a route and corresponding weather info. If it worked consistently, I’d highly recommend. After initially rating this app as 3 star, because of glitch mentioned above, I’m tweaking it to 4+. The developer did find a bug and immediately worked to resolve it. For that reason, I can now highly recommend!

Scam! They tried to charge my account!. Apple sent me 3 notifications after I downloaded this useless app and gave them my Apple Card info. Apparently this app tried to charge me $49 three times, even though I didn’t sign up for any paid features. Absolute scammers!! Avoid! EDIT: the response from the developer is baloney. There was no third party. I downloaded the app from here. And it DID ask me for credit card information claiming they want charge it unless I sign up for services. But as soon as I gave them my Apple Card information, I immediately got charged $49 x3 from strange websites. That literally never happened to me and I’ve been using Apple Card for a long time. So that was most definitely connected with this fraudulent app. Avoid!

Love this app!!. Needed to drive from Los Angeles to Concord NH to be with a gravely ill family member, did a search and found this app. WOW!! Came in super handy and helped me avoid bad weather in Arkansas (which turned out to be a tornado!!). I used the app each morning and updated it throughout the day when I got gas. Lots of helpful aspects - shows degree of probability of weather events, temperatures, allows adjustment of departure time which helps to see if weather improving or worsening, also adjustment for how fast you drive relative to others. Getting the subscription for a year is a no brainer for the price!!

Excellent support. Was planning a motorcycle trip to Mexico but the weather for Mexico was not included in the app. Contacted the developer, he responded within hours. My trip was 4 days away, he was traveling at the time but he worked tirelessly and stayed in touch when he ran into a problem that may have prevented him from completing it before I left. In the end, he was able to get Mexico added prior to my trip. Not only that, he kept me updated during my trip when an issue arose and he had to remove the weather for Mexico in order to fix it. Thank you Paxton for your excellent support!

BEST MULTI-STATE TRAVEL APP EVER!!!. DriveWeather is a game changer for planning road trips! For 30+ years I spent hours checking multiple sources when planning a interstate trip, and using the DriveWeather app in less than FIVE MINUTES I have all that information (and more)!! If you travel by RV or car (or you’re a truck driver), DriveWeather really will be your new favorite app. If you are planning travel through multiple states, this app is exceptional and the user support is exceptional too. Using DriveWeather I can easily see weather, wind speed, temperatures and precipitation for the entire trip. I can adjust the start day or time and see what the weather forecast will be for the entire trip at the time I’ll be in a specific location!! (I upgraded to the paid version on my first trip for $10/year, and received more than $10 in value the first time I used DriveWeather). *I sent the developer a question, and in less than 30 minutes I received a very polite detailed personal response* I have never had a developer respond to a question, and if I had downloaded the latest update to the app I wouldn’t have needed to ask the question.

Useless. I used the app for 2 days as we were traveling and liked it. Then when we needed it the most it glitched? Every time I tried to use it, it updated and froze in "updating". When it is buffering in that you can't do anything with it! I restarted the app multiple times, restarted my phone, nothing worked. Couldn't troubleshoot through the app bc you can't get past "updating". It wasn't a connection problem bc every other app on my phone worked. I ended up using a convoluted mishmash of the weather channel and Google Maps to get at least some of the information I wanted. If it was a free app I wouldn't have been so irritated by this.

Works good . . . Sometimes. Inconsistencies keep me from rating as high as I’d like. When you’re planning a long distance multi-day trip this is genius. In fact I’d pay more if it were consistent and reliable. I understand weather forecast have never been reliable. That understood, I travel enough and use multiple sources to know this app Sometimes misses. Some trips it’s good, some trips it’s been unreliable. And . . . Quirks seem to come and go. You just don’t know when those quirks are going to crop up. But, they do appear to get fixed. Hope they can continue to develop into something I don’t have to double check before setting out. Again, the concept is Genius. UPDATE: biggest and most prominent problem with app is Wind Gusts out beyond 48-60 hrs. App will give constant wind speed days out but not wind gusts. Gusts can be the problem (especially across bridges) and I would like to see improvement there. These guys work hard to provide a very valuable service.

Disgruntled Developer??. As I sit in a gas station parking lot in Abilene, TX at dusk while driving cross-country on my way Georgia from California, all of the sudden it becomes extremely windy. The sky turns brown, gray, almost black. I decide to open the Drive Weather app which I downloaded before leaving on this trip. Since the free version only routes trips up to 999 miles, I began to consider paying for the upgraded version. Unable to make up my mind, I thought I’d check out the reviews to help me make an informed decision. NOW - Is this for real? What in the world is wrong with the person (developer or representative of) responding to people’s reviews?? I have NEVER, EVER seen such a shameful, unprofessional, accusatory display of entitlement, defensiveness and lack of accountability from a customer service to customer standpoint. Sorry Concept Elements LLC, You just lost a customer in me. I refuse to pay for a service where the service provider is abusive and berates to their client base, becoming reduced to the emotional intelligence of a two year-old having temper tantrums and slinging insults as a result of not being able to cope with any form of criticism. Reminds me of a former president we once had. FREAKING UNBELIEVABLE!

No free trial. I wish this had a free trial. I’m not going to pay a subscription to an app I haven’t even properly tried, and many things to try are locked behind a paywall. Responses to developer: no, I am unable to plan out a roadtrip at all because it says I have to update to pro in order to see the full week, even two days ahead. I can only see 24 hours, if I try to click further it automatically says to purchase Pro. Which is useless when planning a long roadtrip with days of driving, and put a customer in the position of having to pay pro when they aren’t sure if they’d like it. Having a free trial would solve that issue.

Super Value!. December 2022 holiday travel was fraught with weather risks - and Drive Weather has been a real bonus - maybe even a life saver for us! Using this app, we decided to depart a day earlier than our original plans and missed some terrible road conditions. Questions posed to the developer have been quickly answered. This is a great app and well worth the price of the paid version in support of long trips! Thanks so much for reducing my stress!

Terrible. I purchased this app for a trip back in February. I was doing a trip from Phoenix to Chicago, a very important necessary trip. I was watching national weather and several apps which were free. I paid the 10$ for this one assuming it would be extremely accurate. We finally left based on the app info which said clear but cold, no problem I thought. Well leaving Phoenix at 10pm I hit Gallop NM and was socked in with snow fog and ice all the way almost to Albuquerque NM. Approaching Albuquerque it was snowing slightly by the time we hit I 40 and I25 it was a white out, 1 lane down the middle of the interstate. All the exit ramps for a hundred miles where blocked by semi’s, no way to get off. I white knuckled it for many hours at extremely slow speeds. The weather was bad all the way to Oklahoma. This app failed me.

A must have for cross country motorcycle trips. This app is amazing. It helps me keep track of the weather not just where I’m at but days ahead, which is very helpful. It gives you all the important information you need on one screen instead of checking each upcoming location one at a time. I’m using it for the first time on this trip from North Carolina to Colorado, then home, and it will be on my home screen on every trip. The customer service is too notch also. They are responsive and knowledgeable.

I’ve been using it for 2 years now I believe, I know for a fact since last winter 2024.. On rare occasions it’s slow to load up the weather information, also on rare occasions it misses the temp and weather by a few degrees, but in reality what weatherman or app gets it perfect every time. Honest opinion, for 20 dollars a year this app has helped me pick better routes, avoiding blizzards and bad storm areas. If you are traveling in any profession, get the premium subscription and this app will save your life, or at least your vehicle. As a truck driver this is a must have, it tells you the wind speed sustained and gusts. Know what you’re about to drive in to and make informed decisions. I do not drive at all before checking with drive weather anymore. Wind can blow us over, blizzards can leave us stranded, and this app is always here to help. Also the free version still shows you the weather and temperature if your not needing wind information like me, and because I drive a diesel engine just having the temperature forecast is a must due to knowing when anti-gel is needed. Even if you’re driving a pickup truck that happens to be diesel powered, get this app and check the temperature. The money you will save by knowing when to treat your fuel tank and you can skip it far exceeds the cost of the premium version of drive weather. I’ll end this by saying thank you drive weather for providing a perfectly functional app that helps me run my business effectively! If you’re a trucker like me, the decision is non negotiable, download drive weather and start making good trip plans.

Awesome App. Im on one of the most significant journeys of my life! My largest concern when deciding was how to safely navigate the treacherous weather during the winter months. I've lived here almost 30years, I am 75yrs old, moving from Concord Cali to Longmont Colorado, driving my 2015 VW TGI 1700 miles, all my remaining possessions packed to the gills! My youngest brother who has lived in Longmont 10years is opening the doors and guiding me in many areas; the big one besides lodging, planning the ride there. Prior to my departure, Ive had car problems that stumped the dealership and had to press them to find. I was actually sent home after with a "here you go" with no repairs. There was still something was obviously still wrong and didnt want to break down in the middle of a snowstorm or worse. I prevailed and pushed them to relooking. Lordy lordy! They suddenly found the problem, a split coolant pipe which is now repaired! I think we're good to go and have been driving for a week with no issues. I still had my navigation issue...my bro came to the rescue with your app! I spent some time exploring all of its facets and im so impressed and thankful you created this to make it easier, safer, removing any prognostication. Its fun too! Largely, the citizenry is not sophisticated or desire spending the time to needed figure things out! Its not complicated...Folks! This app is exactly what I needed, covering all my concerns. If you cant figure it out, you're doing something wrong...go back and look 👀. Dont dare give this app a 1 -star review! If you do, you're really rating your own stupidity!

An ESSENTIAL Tool for Long-Distance Drivers!. I am generally stingy with five-star reviews, but simply MUST award one to DriveWeather! My mid-January Michigan-to-Massachusetts drive in a packed box-truck would have been an horribly anxious ordeal without it. WITH IT (for its $5.99 full-utility subscription-fee…), however, I knew precisely what to anticipate and I am relieved to say that its forecasts were shockingly accurate both in terms of timing and intensity of the weather. When I hit heavy snow in the pridelands of WNY I knew to expect it AND when to expect it to pass. DriveWeather NAILED IT!! I would venture to guess that it is free-mode the app would have done alot less to allay my fears of heavy weather and to inform my plan for safety's and timing's sakes. Don't cheap out to your own travail. Pay the subscription fee as you are planning your drive and put the full power of this amazing tool at your disposal.

The Best. I’ve used this app all over the country as an OTR Truck Driver and it has allows provided the best and most useful information. I rarely ever needed to review another weather source for the driving information I needed. It may seem crude but what this app provides is invaluable. I always knew what to expect or what I was up against and just adjusted for conditions. It kept me moving safely and rarely did I ever have to shut down. I could look and see if the conditions were passable or plan a way around. Now I am a local driver so the frequency of use is dramatically reduced. If you are OTR it’s all you need.

Reliable. Once you figure out the icons and the color meanings, the APP truly lets you know what you are driving into. The severity of weather is best. Light weather is harder to determine sometimes. As for snow accumulations or actual rainfall is not depicted, but that can be researched through other means of necessary. The great part is setting up when to travel or wait it out by the timing feature. That is what makes this APP invaluable when traveling across the states and what to prepare for such as need of chains for snow or a rain jacket to check your load or where to stop and check out a beautiful sunrise.

Hit and miss. I loved this app when I first got it last year. It was a life saver as I was traveling back and forth from Iowa to Minnesota every weekend. But the last two months I have found that it takes forever to give me the details. And more often it just keeps spinning and spinning never giving me my data. Even after the update I’m still having issues with it just spinning/calculating. Sad as I relied on this a lot for timing my trips.

The Best. My go to App whenever I travel. Takes the guesswork work out of the weather on route

Great road assistance. Use this application when traveling long distances. Great option to determine driving conditions

Wow This is Wonderful. I am surprised no people have not told me about this I found it by fluke It helped me determine when to leave for a long drive mid winter It actually helped me to determine I could leave A day later and also it’s better weather I gave it 5 stars I will Gladly update my review after using it for 3 weeks on the road Hope you see a huge upswing in downloads because I shared across my Facebook (almost 5000 friends and tagged a bunch of people) I gladly bought the Pro after downloading as I see the huge benefit Thank you for this app!!

WTF. What a horribly difficult app to decipher

Won’t work across border. I live in Ontario Canada and I tried planning a route from Ontario to Florida. Once I entered the start point as a town in Ontario I was unable to enter a destination in the USA.

Absolutely useful but. Very useful and acurate for weather but interface could be improved. Editing routes could be made easier.

Very unimpressed. I bought the upgrade of the app so I could get a forecast a week ahead for our road trip. They were wrong about everything. Driving through blue skies, the app says heavy snow. Supposedly there was freezing fog for a whole six hour trip for a solid two weeks every day. It would have been laughable if I hadn’t paid for it. Don’t know if this app is run by algorithms or actual people With actual knowledge about weather forecasting but it was truly awful. This is literally the first review I have ever left for An app.

Nice. Great when towing RV

Love this App. Helps take the worry out of long distance driving through numerous days!

Great and accurate app. This app makes your driving options for each day better informed as to wind and weather.

It is absolutely excellent app. It helps people with the trailers or motorcycles highly recommend wind direction is important and weather. It shows you radar too. I think it’s excellent unfortunately it’s too expensive to have a nonstop so I’m using it only for the summer when I using the trailer

No weather information available for 5 days on our trip. From the first use before we went on our trip, the information sites have remained black It appears that it may not work on the iPad which is what I use for my travels ???

Good app. I find this app very helpful

Noble Effort, but.... The non-standard interface might be pretty, but it doesn't make much sense. Where is the weather prediction on the map? All I see is a pink line, with no indication of if that's good or not? It's snowing outside right now, but nothing on the map tells me that. Confusing app.

Drive Weather. Very good app for truckers

Very helpful. Our “go to” when heading out on road trips~ reliable and helpful to ensure a safe drive!

Retired Driver. This app works great for us to avoid bad weather while driving

Ads cover important tools. App was working great and was impressed with free version until the ad banner started completely covering up the “to” and “from” waypoints and they literally can’t be moved so the app is useless. It has to be fully closed and reopened and that it glitchy and takes time. Wish I could upload an image to show it.

Awesome app. Great app. Love that I can use it for Canada & US. Awesome tutorials. Great updates. Thank you

Solid App. It is quite annoying that I have to pay a subscription for basic features, it’s main feature (showing the weather according to your trip) definitely saves you a lot of time of manually finding the weather at different locations at different points. I drive 3.5 hours back and forth from university to my home every weekend, so it’s definitely saved me from driving through harsh weather

Works good so far. I have used this on two separate trips already and it has worked ok. Better than other apps as far as finding out how the weather is going to be where I am driving to. The only gripe that I have is its cost. $25 a year is way way too much and I probably won’t keep it just for that fact. I have another trip starting tomorrow so I will see how it goes. I usually just use this app to see how the weather is going to be before I am on my trip but once I get going I usually switch to Google Maps or Apple Maps. I don’t know if that’s how you are supposed to use it but I am confident with the other apps versus this one.

Disappointing. I had high hopes for this app but it feels really clunky and outdated on my iPad. Cumbersome interface and only moderately useful to use. Saving routes is not possible manually and to make changes you have to select ‘show in search’ from the history tab lookup. There must be better apps out there…

Can’t use!. Doesn’t include my destination

Don't travel without it. We travel with an RV and love that I can check the wind speed and direction on my itinerary.

Love this app. This is a must for anyone who’s driving and wants to avoid potentially dangerous weather. We always use it as we plan trips. It’s especially helpful if we are driving our motorhome and we also need to consider things like wind gusts. Honestly, it’s a critical tool to use and has kept us informed to avoid potentially dangerous driving conditions.

Godsend. What an amazing little app. This is an absolute Godsend. Original and super handy. Usefulness 10/10.

Good for RVers. We travel in a motorhome, and I use this almost daily to check our route for high winds, especially if I see bad weather forecasted. On at least 3 occasions we have stayed put for an extra day to avoid high (+30MPH plus gusts) winds.

Excellent. I use Drive Weather on a daily basis as an OTR driver. I know what’s ahead and I can track weather systems. Very useful, I recommend.

App stopped working. Love this app, as a truck driver this is a very useful app to check the weather for your trip. It's pretty accurate and easy to use, and for the price you can't beat it. Tried uninstalling and installing it again but still nothing. I put in where I want to go and it never fetches the routes. Miss using this app. How can I fix this?

Save time for trip planning. The UI and UX are great and it saves a lot of time for planning road trips. The time estimate is good enough and the weather information are reasonable accurate. The 7 days forecast is useful to pick start time for our west coast road trip between northern California and Vancouver BC

Simple, effective , affordable tool. I love this app, not least because the makers haven’t been bitten by the greed bug. It’s an easy to use very practical tool to help truckers like me. A huge thanks for not jacking up the price like SOME apps have recently done. It shows that you value your customers, which I for one appreciate.

Easy and smart. This app has a beautiful, intuitive interface. There is a walk-through video by the developer built into the app. I’m using it right now to plan a cross country winter driving trip, and it lets me easily plan when to stop each day and when to leave from our overnight stops.

Essential Travel Tool. Since downloading this app, I have used it for all my travel across the US. It allows me to plan safer routes in my motorhome. Especially when crossing the Rockies on I-80 in the winter. Up to date info on Snow fall, icy roads, wind speeds/gusts and other dangerous conditions through Wyoming was imperative. I don’t travel without it!

Lousy app!. When I tried to enter the name of the city I was traveling to, the app failed to find it. How can Van Nuys, Encino, Panorama City, North Hills, and many other cities in LA be missing? All those are major cities in LA. I then tried to enter the address and it says that that is a “pro feature.” WTH! I am trying the app for the first time to see if I like it. If I can’t find the name of the city I am traveling to, or surrounding cities, what makes them think that I want to pay just to try it? Totally unrealistic. That shows that the developer is greedy and lacks common sense.

Amazing for road traveling. I somehow stumbled across this app and am so glad I did! It gives me perfect vision of upcoming weather down the road and I love the time adjustments I can make to avoid bad weather. After using for a while I noticed the area search and really love that too. I use it daily and recommend to everyone I know

Like it a lot. I really like this app. It appears to be very stable and reliable so far. I only wish it showed the total hours and minutes of the trip as well as “times” along the way like another app like this I’ve used in the past. That said the many features this app does have are very good and appreciated.

Saved us from SW sand storms. Such a great app! There’s always a learning curve for something new, but once I watched the video and input our route, it saved us from horrific sand storms that closed I-10 in NM for miles. It enabled us to make an informed decision & leave a day later to avoid bad weather while traveling on our RV. A must have!!

CarPlay requires the app to be opened on iPhone to use while driving.. The app was very functional before the last update. Now, the app requires you to open it while driving when using Apple CarPlay. So I stopped and opened the app. After resuming my drive, it displays that I need to add a route using the phone. It worked fine before, and I didn’t have to add a route for casual drives. This is frustrating. I don’t want to have to add a route each time I drive, and I definitely don't want to be handling my phone while driving. Please provide a fix.

Update. Have used this app for a few years & has always worked. Haven’t used for a few months now & all I get is the spinning wheel. Have always loved the app Update: After uninstalling & reinstalling the app it works. I love the app. It’s great for our long travels several times a year. Thank you

Charged even though I canceled subscription the SAME DAY I downloaded it.. The concept is a great idea, however this app isn’t very accurate weather, and for that reason I cancelled the subscription the SAME DAY I downloaded it, however, I was STILL Charged for it even though I canceled subscription the SAME DAY I downloaded it. Also, the developer is a JERK, rude response to every negative review. And constantly defending the very inaccurate weather drive app, instead of saying thank you for the feedback, and also saying, they’ll remember the feedback when adding features and updates.

Accurate and Easy to Use. A great app that’s accurate and user friendly, perfect for long road trips especially when winds and weather can play a big factor. I plan trips ahead with it so I know if I have to make any stops. It also pairs with CarPlay well and updates in real time so there’s no surprises.

Weather is useful but travel time way off. I couldn’t figure out why I have a huge 2nd day of driving ahead of me, and why I’m so late in arriving at my overnight stop. So I used this app and then Google maps to compare. For the same route, this app gives a 7 hr 45 min trip from my current location , while Google maps says it’ll take 11 hours. I am a frequent x country driver and have always found Google maps accurate. This is my first time relying o this app , and I am WAY off the mark (or more specifically, still on a dark highway in New Mexico). Perplexed.

Excellent display of weather forecast. This app has been an excellent companion for both motorcycle rides and trips by car. The ability to plan a route for a motorcycle trip using several destinations to plot the weather along the way is handy but the slider to adjust departure times and see the forecast update is invaluable.

Good App. I travel in my RV and rely on a couple different weather apps when planning each day’s travel. I like the features offered in this app. I use it to see if I will encounter rain (or snow!)/storms/wind. It shows me different routes I can take that might offer better weather conditions. Worth the price.

Most useful travel app ever. Intuitive and easy to use for coarse and fine drive planning, a quick way to see alternative route and schedules that is difficult when looking at individual forecasts and putting the pictures together.

Make your life easier!. So during the Rona, all the trips we’ve been taking have been road trips. Now that the Midwest winter is back, it’s nice to have the weather not be a factor. We can decide when we need to leave, what we need to avoid, plan little stops along our routes to sit out any crazy storms that may pop up; it just takes some of the stress out of planning. Love it.

An essential tool for RVers. We are full-time RVers, and I rely on this app (among others) to know if we need to leave early due to high wind gusts. Once we drove double distance to avoid high winds the following day, thanks to this app. And glad we did; there was a report of an RV being blown over in the area we would have been. Thanks for the app!

Glad someone made this. I didn’t know an app like this existed, so it’s already making my trip planning easier. The free option answers enough for me, but looks like there are useful paid features, too. Let’s hope the data is sharp enough to keep me out of heavy rain. Cheers.

Missing Link-Actual Road Conditions. Everything put into the app is great. But, like many of the other products on the market, it has nothing about current or forecast pavement conditions, e.g. unplowed snow, slush, ice, standing water, etc. We have spent the last 4 days trying to pick our way from Montana to the Austin area in the aftermath of Winter Storm Fern, and it is really difficult to obtain reliable and useful info about what the driving conditions are or are likely to be when we get there. Adding this would move 3⭐️ to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

Always room for improvements. I truly rely on my Drive Weather app while I’m on the road. The easily review of what weather elements I need to access quickly is my favorite part. I only wish I understood what certain tab block ups actually mean. I cannot find any “help” explanations and I’ve yet to unlock the system mysteries (to me) of how to decipher them. Other than that … I love Drive Wise!

The Best 5 stars all the way. This is the only app I use when planning a trip. Have wx available as well is a plus. If it could be improved I’d say if it had county line overlay would be extremely helpful for storm chasers & when media is giving alerts by county. Tech support is almost instantaneously when emailing. Thanks Paxton for a terrific product.

Great App - Consider Ad-Supported Pro Features. This app is excellent, even at the free tier. As an infrequent user, I can't justify the PRO cost, but I would gladly watch ads to unlock premium features and support development. I plan to keep using it for basic routes, but the lack of PRO features means I'll have to use other apps for complete trip information."

Extraordinarily Difficult to Use. I find Drive Weather very hard to use while on a trip, and I don't understand why it miscalculates my arrival time so wildly inaccurately. Estimating anticipated sleep stops is variously difficult to do without the application adding, like, a day onto my trip's end, then at other times it works as intended for no reason I can determine. It all makes me feel monumentally stupid, because I can't understand what I do differently to make it work properly or not. Most apps I use seem to work better more consistently than this one.

Great!. Does what it says. Icons take a LITTLE effort to understand but very helpful once you do and I feel the extra icons/shadings are necessary to fulfill the point of this app. The slider for the time to leave / arrive is VERY useful. Want to avoid snow/ice? Just slide to see if you should leave a little early or late - or just stay home. Well done!

Total game changer. Love this app! I have been taking epic (vacation) road trips for decades and always wished I had a tool like this. What this app does in seconds would take me up to an hour to do. Also, I love traveling in the fall and winter with less crowds but don’t like dealing with snow. This app enables me to be ahead, behind or completely avoid bad weather. Thank you!!!!!!

Great for long drives. I was in Myrtle Beach where there was a prediction of a tropical storm on my departue day. I was thinking of extending my stay until the weather clears. Fortunately, an online search mentioned Drive Weather. It showed bad weather only in the Myrtle Beach area and the rest of the 6 hour drive showed good weather. I drove and the app was correct. Thank you Drive Weather.

Excellent app for truckers. As a truck driver in the western 11 states, this app is awesome for trip planning my route. With accurate wind speeds and storm tracking for each step of the route. I’m able to set my turtle speed and the timing is spot on. I love how it now shows when there are major weather issues like winter storm warnings or wind warnings. I use it every day.

Great comfort. This app is my go to for every major drive I take. It’s very reliable as far as the forecast , and it gives me comfort to know what type of weather o may meet on my driving trips. I recommend this app to everyone who drives, especially in our ever changing climate.

Where have you been all my life?. I was looking for an app that would show me where to expect bad weather on a recent trip from Minneapolis to Denver. This certainly does that. But when I saw I could change the departure time a see how that would affect rain & snow on my trip - I was blown away. With that info I moved up the time I would leave and had nothing but dry weather. That aspect alone makes this my new travel app. Very cool

Not giving enough. I just bought the app and I literally want weather for my whole trip. I figured 7 days out is good, but I can only get 3 days of travel if I leave tomorrow? Really? I leave in 5 days and can only get travel for two? I can get better weather conditions for up to 14days on the weather channel! Then if you change your leave times it completely wipes the history and stops that you had put in your route. Very frustrating. Not user friendly at all. Brandi

Sometimes works. I ride a motorcycle and mostly look to the app to determine if there will be any rain or stiff winds. One day this week I looked at the app and it showed no rain. Unfortunately my ride was met with about 80% rain along my route. Today I looked at the app to see what the week’s forecast was. This time, it showed some areas with elevated wind speeds, but the problem is that the areas with denoted weather (dots) did not change throughout the day or week. That’s a bit frustrating.

So simple and easy to use, and super helpful!. This app is by far the most helpful for travel. It’s incredibly simple to use yet provides a ton of important info. It saved us this trip from ending up in the middle of the winters worst storm - we stayed a second day at our campground and then followed the storm, in clear dry weather. Best $ I’ve spent on a travel app!!

Somewhat confusing.. I am planning a cross-country trip in January. A well designed app like this may be would be invaluable to me. However I am struggling with the many features of it. I wish there were clear cut instructions for it. Update: in the middle of the road trip. It does work, but FYI you need to start over each time, don’t look at a “remembered” start/stop. I’ll report when done.

A Must!. I have been using the Drive Weather app to drive across country and it has given me accurate and descriptive weather, warning us of possible dangers, etc, along with options for lodging. Several occasions, the creator has gotten back to us right away when we had a question about the app. Definitely worth the purchase! I have suggested it to dozens of people.

A breeze. I had to drive from Boston to Florida and back and do the same for Boston to Savannah this December. This app made planning when to travel and where to take breaks a breeze. I got the subscription just for one month and plan to do so next year if I need to do similar driving. I really like how the app focuses on what it does and is not bloated with unnecessary junk.

TRAVELING & WEATHER ON YOUR ROUTE MADE EASY!. Best Intuitive weather and driving combined App ever! You get to know what weather you will be heading into on your route and the time you leave. Punch in your departure and your destination and your route is mapped out with the weather conditions that will pop along your route. You can slide your departure time or arrival time earlier or later, as you like and it seamlessly adjusts. Also can punch-in extra stops. And yes, tech support if you need it! An actual human that responds to your questions! Thanks for creating an excellent no nonsense app that does what it’s supposed to! 💕🏆

Free is worth Free. The “free” version of this app is not usable. It’s not even good enough to get me to pay for an upgrade. I’m thinking about deleting the free version. No thanks. PS I did get a response from the developer. The free version gives you “2 days of forecast and one drive”. Testing this app, for me, and the “drive”, is 2 days long, is not enough testing time for me to purchase. I can use many free weather apps for a drive forecast. I deleted the app.

NOT GOOD for small routes. I got this app to check weather conditions and how they affect my routes to work. I am a traveling RN and do home care. This app has been completely useless. This app might (still doubtful) be useful if you are driving cross country but for driving conditions just around your state- GARBAGE. I am sorry for the bad review and I NEVER leave reviews unless I’m super happy or totally disappointed by something. This was a waste of money. I’d try to get a refund but know it’s useless to get your money back from these kinds of things. My advice is skip this app.

Love It!. I’ve been using it for over a year and since most of our trips are on a regular schedule, we don’t need the upgrade. We must be flexible with travel especially in the winter months. It works so well, we’ve shared it with several family members and friends who have downloaded it and bought the upgrade for their frequent trips.

Never works properly. I paid for the full subscription. It never lets me type in the address like it’s suppose to with the subscription service. Then every other week I was having to “restore” my subscription in order to see the weather for the week when looking up my route. Now for the past couple weeks it’s not showing the route I’m even on. I’m currently in McClean, TX headed to Nashville, TN. It’s showing me the weather for a route that goes through Kansas, Missouri and Kentucky before dipping down into Tennessee. It’s nowhere near where I’m at! Useless app.

Pro version problem. I like this app. I bought the pro version and really liked it at first. It worked just fine for a few hours, then last night I started looking at it again and it would only let me go out a day and a half instead of a week. I can still use it, but I would like to have the version I paid for instead of this one.

Useful, but limited. Drive Weather does provide some good information about possible weather impact along your route, but fall short in route planning and real time information Drive Weather relies so much on watches and warnings rather than current conditions, it’s really not very useful for finding the safest route around severe weather. That’s because those watches and warnings are almost always spread across many many counties in the National Weather Service forecast area. Overlay of current radar is useful, however

No sharing of route(s)?. Just purchased pro, so we’ll see how this works on upcoming trip. I’d like this app to have the capability to SHARE routes with family/loved ones, so they can see weather conditions too. If this functionality can be added, I’ll update to 5 ⭐️. Otherwise, pretty cool. I’ve already plotted our trip and as expected, it’s going to be nasty drive with the wind and ice. At least we’ll know what to expect driving the route, in real time.

Love at First Drive!. ***** Five stars! Highly recommend! This app has helped me plan for encounters with weather events while driving across thousands of miles. It’s easy to use, maps and routes/alternates and weather overlays are very accurate, and it’s affordable. Thank you to the team that makes this wonderful tool available!

Good app to use when driving across the country.. I only use the 2-day, free app mostly because I’m to tight to splurge on & purchase the extended one. I do appreciate the ability to view the weather when I travel across country. No weather map is ever 100% accurate but gives me an idea of what to expect. I appreciate the service & use it frequently. Ty

A must have for traveling. I used to search through the forecasts for different cities I would be traveling through which took forever. Now I can instantly see the weather along my route and adjust my travel time to miss wind/rain/etc.

Would be great if it actually worked. I can’t get it to let me enter info. I can enter a starting point, or a destination, but not both, and it won’t retrieve weather info. I keep tapping and nothing happens. It has worked in the past. Perhaps today’s weather is so bad, it can’t handle all the data. I tried restarting my XR (which does freeze up a lot), but it didn’t help.

The BEST weather drive app. Accuracy is, I guess, most important quality and it’s certainly that. But to me accuracy is meaningless unless the app is easy to navigate and understand. Drive Weather is that on steroids. I’m in middle of trip west as I write this, and need to monitor impact of major winter storm heading east toward us that will combine with Vortex. I’d be driving blind without this app and it would be dangerous. I won’t leave home without it. Bravo!
