I left and came back. I tried another service because it was cheaper. After being stranded TWICE out of town with no access to my office computer because the other system malfunctioned and showed it offline, I came back to LogMeIn. Cheap isn’t cheap if it doesn’t work.

Unable to drag files. fail to drag files within folders of host computer. Mouse becomes unresponsive. Can use control function to select files but unable to drag them from one folder to another

LIfeline!. Been using it since it’s inception (2003?). We started our business in 1999, and Logemein has made it so much easier to check on things when not in the office. Especially helpful with a small bus, when you have no minions! Helpful hint: Make a note in your phone as to how to access for those times you are stressing & cannot remember your own name! Sending LogMeIn some serious gratitude! And thanks for the little blue mouse, so helpful as screens get smaller. -Kate ;)

Please have support for iOS 11 files app. I've been a Ignition user for over 8 years and pretty soon I'm switching to the original LogMeIn app, and now that it's been updating pretty good, but what it's really missing is the support for the iOS 11/12 Files app support. I want to drag files from one app to another. Please have support for Files app.

Continues to make a good program bad. Recent updates of the program no longer log in automatically when you start the app. Very inconvenient when you had grown used to certain behavior. This combined with continually raising the price makes the use of their service and this app a terrible investment. To give credit where due however, functionally the app works well.

Great app. The app is very easy to use but could benefit from better mouse integration. Free solutions already pass the mouse through to Windows with full support for left/right click and scrolling. If this feature is added, this app would be perfect. As it currently functions, I will look for alternatives for my firm that allow for better mouse integration.

Very buggy. App works well once its up. Takes VERY long to login to my account, and if I get disconnected during a session I have to close the app and re-open to get back into what I was doing. For the amount of money required for a LOGMEIN subscription I think this needs more polish.

Stopped Working. After years of use, the application stopped working and tech cannot seem to fix it. They have been working on this for 6 weeks. There call me via a bogus phone number and want me to change my password. Seems very shady. I tried to cancel my subscription but I couldn’t because the credit card they have has been cancelled and I don’t remember the number. I guess they will find out when they try to charge me for next year. At best, it was a clunky app that convinced me to use it sparingly. I found a better method of connecting to my office computer. I advise you to do the same thing before buying this.

Logmein/ Logmein ignition.. I am not a power user. I purchased Logmein Ignition, which is the most that I ever paid for an app. I did so, because it was a one time fee. That said, this company has honored my purchase. Splashtop has not. Ethics are important! They have always answered my (paranoid) inquiries. I rarely use the app, but when I do it works well. I have never had issues adapting to the UI changes. My connection is fast and stable. I have no complaints.

Great Remote Access. This is a great product that gives you remote access to multiple computers on multiple or same networks. It doesn't require any special port forwarding on router. It helps with remote administration or people wanting to work remotely.

Almost perfect. 90% of the time it works every time. Doesn’t work when the software decides on its own to just turn itself off, which isn’t exactly awesome when you have an emergency that only remote access can help with.

New Update Slowed Startup. Can’t copy/paste text from remote system to local device, so if I need to copy and paste something in a document or email on my iPhone, it can’t be done, so I have to swap apps back and forth if it’s IPs or something else. Stupid as 💩 that you didn’t test to make sure this would work! Guess no IT people work with LogMeIn anymore and the concept of needing to have a constant clipboard ever occurred to you?! This is why nobody wants to pay/use for your services anymore. One step forward and two steps back... New update causes app to start a lot slower now before it gets to login screen for account to use. This is on an iPhone XR, so since it wasn’t this slow before, there’s NO REASON for this to be happening now on latest hardware. Back to 1 star you go!

Wonderful app!. When I first used this app, at least a couple of upgrades ago, it was awkward, although rather useful. It has been a while since I last used it, and in that time there has been real improvement. It is quick and agile, connecting to my office computer easily. I can open and use any program on the computer, and, best of all, print from my iPad Mini to my office computer on command. This app is now a gem. I highly recommend it. Update: After the developer raised the price to highway robbery levels, I dropped this app. I miss it, but not enough to pay that ridiculous price!

Very helpful but. This is a great program works with no problems. Only down side is the cost use to have a free basic which was great for a homeowner who has kids and 2 computers. Or used few times a year. Best part was couple times needed a document from work computer was able to log in and see documents.

App works, company greedy & dishonest. Go to zoho assist. UPDATE: we switched to Zoho assist since we were not willing to be taken advantage of and go from $300 to $1000 to $1200 to $3,500! Good riddance LMI, we will not miss you. Invoking such outrage and emotional dissatisfaction is only bound to hurt a company. As they says; negative feedback spreads like wild fire, certainly when you take advantage of a others in such way. I do not think I have been taken advantage of this way by any other company. This company is the reason that people must not trust advertising. Lure you in with a free offer and then quadruple the cost of the product and since you have so many devices, it is impossible to move away from it. Btw, no partial refund, who does that? Yearly subscription and they will not refund you when you cancel two months in!

Laptop ID and password issue problem. Logmein to connect iPhone to windows laptop took 3+ hours due to windows ID and Password issues. I hate Windows ! But logmein works ! I hate Windows and would never use it if only my tax e would work on my Mac!!! My text rep. Mario was very knowledgeable and provided the expertise needed to get the windows laptop to connect to my iPhone using Logmein Pro.

Works great. Needs to be free again. Great product and I’m glad I have it BUT it needs to be free again for those of us who only need a hand full of computers - 5 or less - so that we can admin our computers.

No place to cancel subscription!! be ware of hassle autochage!. They don’t alert you before the date of automatic subscription payment like any other respectable service will do, and you will be surprised and stuck with a full year subscription! There is also no where in their site to cancel your subscription, I have contacted them them through email to cancel it and retrieve the subscription that I don’t want to use, and I am still waiting for their response!

Keeps my business alive. I’ve been using Logmein for years-almost every day! (I still remember when it was a free service) My self storage business can be run remotely because Logmein works so well. And the few times I have needed support, their team has been extremely helpful and happy. Thx Logmein!! You keep my business running!

Way too expensive for prior App purchaser. As someone who made the $30 app purchase, I’m disappointed that the access via that program is gone. Now they offer a full subscription priced at about $350 a year. For someone who used this app to access a relative’s computer or occasionally accessed a work computer this price is way too expensive. I did sign up for the 1/2 price discount on switching over from the $30 app but at $350 a year I won’t be renewing. If they come up with a cheaper program I might consider it. But not at that regular price.

Great app. Logmein is a very good company, they have a few great product on their websites. I personally use few of their products. The app is very easy to use can let remotely connect back to your computer.

Please add a way to map keys. LogMeIn works great, but has some limitations when using a Magic Keyboard with iPads. I NEED to be able to use the Windows “Delete” key and copy/paste functions, but I can’t figure out any way to translate these commands from the Magic Keyboard to inputs that Windows will understand. The LogMeIn on-screen keyboard helps with these functions but it’s a big time sink.

Pays for itself. Extremely useful on one’s phone to solve a Customer complaint. The Wndows app asks too many security questions. Would be nice if it remembered longer

No complaints. Easy to use and secure when logging from a remote location. User since 2013. Plus I can work from home when I don’t feel like driving to the office. Sweet.

Product’s becomes worse over 14 year instead of improving. They have increased their price so much over the past 14 years and their product is becoming worse. They do an update and move things around for no reason making one find everything again and waste time. They take away features and do not respond to complaints. Ridiculous! will need to find an alternative finally. This time besides all the money I’m paying & have paid with their crazy price increases, they have just done enough to make me move. Started off as a great product but has become horrible now.

Priced out 💰➡️🚽. Logmein used to be one of those companies that you'd have only good things to say but this is no longer the case. They’ve made clear efforts to shake off individual users and focus only on business users. Thankfully we have better options these days like Splashtop who gives you same functionality for $100/yr. I’m guessing the LogMeIn reviews are either from a PR firm hired to boost the company’s reputation, LogMeIn employees, or business users who are passing the expense on to their employers because no sane person would pay $350/yr for something that can be done just as easily and far more affordably by using a competing product. ALL of the LogMeIn services are WAY overpriced!! People like me that paid astronomical fees out of our own pockets for something we've already paid for many times over are NOT happy. When I voiced my concerns regarding the ridiculous pricing with their customer service they tried selling me this spiel that the costs are justified by their "active development" and R&D. Yeah, everyone else does the same thing and yet they manage to stay competitive with their pricing so what’s the problem with LogMeIn? $350 annually is robbery. 😳😡👎 Like most people, I know they don't care and don't even read these reviews so we're all wasting our breath.

Great to keep an eye on my restaurants!. Invaluable tool to log into my restaurants point of sales and back office software from anywhere. This, combined with cameras, are invaluable in allowing my wife and I to get away but not be “away away”! TWS

Price has gotten out of hand. I've also used logmein for many years to access my office computer from home. It is a great program and let's you use all your computer's features remotely. It started out free for several years. However, starting in 2014 they charged a $49 annual fee which I was OK with. Then in 2015 it went up to $99 which I could still deal with. Then in 2016 it went up to $149 which was my breaking point. Finally, in 2017 it went up to $249 which was a shocker. So, now I will be leaving them and will look for another more cost effective alternative.

Love this!!!. I am type A and feel so much better being able to access everything from anywhere.

Expensive but worth it. I work from home and the road a lot and this solution is far better than VPN. I can connect to my office computers from any smartphone tablet or PC quickly and get files or run data quickly. It is like you are sitting in front of your computer when you aren’t Highly recommend

Issues login in. Every time I open the app it makes me log in again. Even though I have my credentials saved and use lastpass authentication. I’ve been using LogMeIn for over 5 years now and this started about a month ago. Please fix. Thank you.

App is amazing but leaving LMI. The iPad app is amazing. I installed Logmein at multiple clients who each have a server and multiple users. In a flash I can login and select the computer that needs my assistance. But the cost increases are out of sight and make no sense. We will be moving to another service. $600 year is too much. We don't have five employees trying to access their machines remotely all the time. I am an accountant who has to access once or twice a month.

Helps to have a good remote system. Love this app I hate when it needs to verify the security but I understand. Just seems like it happens at the wrong time for me. Hopefully we get our timing on sync.

No tool like it.. I’ve used several remote programs in the past and none are a match for Logmein, it’s easy to use, relates to all of your hardware (local and remote), handles dual screens, notifies you of errors and updates, easily and quickly transfer files, turn on systems remotely, force restart a freeze error and so much more... No tool like it! Thanx!

Terrible renewal experience. I abruptly, and without warning, found that I could not log in with LogMeIn. I had been able to use it 3 days earlier. The link within the app was supposed to give me a way to renew. It instead gave what was useless information and did not let me renew. The upshot was that the account was apparently lost. Customer service could not find my account, except from 2018. I finally found a way to renew again. After doing this, the account info for the remote computers had been lost. Awful experience all the way around.

So convenient!. Having access to my desktop while having just my iPad is wonderful! I am even able to print to the team who are in the office while curled up in my bed. Working from home would not be possible without this level of remote access! Thank you!

Too expensive & poor service. The Log Me In folks only seem to care about large corporate clients these days. They charge an arm and a leg, and they won’t base your license on the number of computers used at any one time, only on the number shown on the account. So, if you have three machines, but only need to access one at any point, they want to charge you $500+ per year for three machines. That’s highway robbery. In addition, the customer service folks don’t understand the product, commit to do things but don’t, and aren’t nice.

/. Weeks well with very few issues over many years. On the rare occasions when issues have come up the customer service responds quickly and resolves the issue. I have placed this software in multiple businesses I am associa5ed with.

Safe and secure. My IT has told me this is a safe and secure system. I was using Remote Desktop and I was told to disable it and stop immediately. I was having difficulty with Logmein on my iPad because I was trying to use it through safari. My error. I downloaded the App and all is good. Very easy to access my office computer and gives me even easier access than I was used to. It certainly meets my needs and standards. I even have the ability to right click. Thank you Logmein.

Fantastic, but there is always room for improvement!. The company that I work for has been using LogMeIn for a couple of years now, we use it for about 150 computers. Working in the I.T. Field it is extremely useful to be able to hop on any computer around the country and resolve a problem with out having to run someone through step-by-step over the phone. Across our company, our PCs vary anywhere from Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 and MacOS, and LogMeIn works well on all of them! However, while it is fantastic, even on poor DSL connections, and works well with MacOS from a client standpoint, it could use some work on a MacOS host standpoint. When I use my MacBook from home to sign in remotely, I notice the app tends to loose connection more, and the app occasionally becomes unresponsive, causing me to need to force close the app. I also notice when loosing connection sometimes, LogMeIn has trouble reconnecting to the client, even though the connection status hasn’t changed. We’re paying about a little under $4,000 per year, which is reasonable for what the product is. We have explored other options that are a little more versatile (like the ability to run repair scripts from the program), but honestly, aren’t as UI friendly or quite as reliable. For the foreseeable future, we will continue to stick with LogMeIn and expand with them as well as we continue to grow!

Room for improvement. Works pretty well but has one annoying flaw. If you run this in the background for more than a few seconds, your remote session is automatically timed out. So it can get annoying and means that you basically can’t do anything else on your iOS device while you’re using this app. I’m not 100% if this is the fault of iOS or the app itself. On the plus side, it does work consistently when you’re actively using the app.

Unable to sign into LogMeIn. For the past three weeks, multiple users on our master account have been unable to sign in to LogMeIn without completely forgetting all credentials and reentering them. We’ve reached out to LogMeIn support daily, reached out to our LogMeIn Account Executive weekly and have tried every troubleshooting method possible. LogMeIn has us paying $1,900 per month for this service, and they can’t even be responsible enough to respond to emails asking for support.

FaceID required every time I navigate away from app. Super super annoying, and makes app almost unusable. Every time I navigate to another app on the iPhone while I am in session, it requires a FaceID authentication to resume the app. This is infuriating to me as I am a multitasker. When I connect to my office computer, I will always be checking email, messages, photos, website in conjunction with working remotely. To re- authenticate 20+ times during one session is not productive at all. And forget when wearing a Covid mask. May have to go elsewhere after 10+ years of being a PAID customer.

Horrible software for Mac users. Run away!. It truly seems LogMeIn could care less about our problems. I have never been able to confirm nor do I think they have more than one person that is Mac centric working at this company. If that! They certainly don't mind taking my 3 to $4000 each year but I can't use the stupid Mac Desktop or iOS apps to login to 22 Mac computers. 13 are mine as well others I support... The only way to get anything done is to never let these computers monitors go to sleep. These are expensive computers and as soon as I lose one monitor I'm going to sue this freaking company for not fixing this **bleep** problem. The right thing to do would be for them to admit defeat and quit supporting the Mac & iOS platforms. Apple remote desktop, team viewer, slapshop have no issue with this. LOGMEIN could fix this if they wanted to… They just don't care. Too big… This problem has been going on forever and it is well documented. This company makes me absolutely sick. I hate LogMeIn and their garbage software (for Mac users).

Good Product, Terrible Update. I have used this product for nearly a decade in some form and this latest iOS app update is, in my opinion, overly and unnecessarily complicates once easy tasks for no apparent reason. System-to-System transfers are now so unintuitive, that I, a systems engineer, had to go to the knowledge base at LMI to see if it was still possible to do in the app. Even the selection of files and folders for moving or copying is now complicated by first having to select an option from a dropdown before making your selection. I get improvements in GUI and flow, but I for the life of me, can't understand these changes. Seriously, why the need to over-complicate the most simplistic and intuitive tasks this app once had as a strength over TeamViewer?? The reason I don't use TeamViewer just became the reason I may look for an alternative to LMI. Please fix this by reversing course and reimplement the older, more logical flow you once had.

I was lost. In fact I was lost and it's been very hard to control my computers and servers! But with logmein app life is SIMPLE AND FREE; simple to control and to use computers any where smoothly and free because it can be done via any device especially mobiles and tablets! I LOVE THIS APP

Pure scumbags run this company. At a time when working remotely is vital to the workforce Logmein has once again proven they could care less about their customers. I once subscribed to their service after it went from being free to a paid subscription. That was fine as it was a valuable service to me although I went from access to all my computers to only 2. That was ok as they promised the app, which I paid $30 for at the time, would always be free and give me access to all my computers. This was great until yesterday when I opened up the app to find all my computers had “restricted access” and I would once again be subject to their subscription fees in the hundreds of dollars per year. I thank my lucky stars I had already started using jump desktop as the feature set destroyed everything logmein has to offer, which as of 13.4 iPadOS, supports full generic and Apple mice, trackpads etc. Adios Logmein you guys really take the cake for scumbaggery!

Getting worse. Every year, it crashes more and has more bugs. Approaching 50% fail now. That is, about half the times I log in to another computer, it crashes or fails. My last 10 sessions have failed completely. Also, they promised 2 years ago to fix a bug on the mobile app, but still have not done so, and each time I call it’s news to them: The bug is this: the app disconnects within seconds of using another app on your iOS device. So you cannot check your texts, email, do anything at all without immediate disconnect. And yes, I have contacted tech support way too many times and for way too many hours. I have been using it since day 1, many years ago. Time to switch.

Computers tab. It would be great to see additional information on the computers tab like three date and time the computer came online similar to the web version.

More and more people are using pins. This app works great and saves lots of time for both client and technician. The trouble is you cannot log in with a pin. This needs to be fixed.

It's good but.... It's pretty good, does what it says but... If u have two screens, it will only show u one screen (marked as the primary screen). This is very inconvenient for me since the start bar, task bar and all my icons are on the 2nd screen, the way I like it. So at least for now, I can only interact with things I may have happened to leave open on my primary screen.

Brilliant!. This app is so clever!! My dad is 70 and trying to navigate his way around the computer drives him crazy!! I try to talk him thought things over the phone but I talk about 'menu bars' and 'ribbons' and 'status bars' and he just gets frustrated and gives up. Now I'll be able to show him, remotely, and help him solve his problems. Such a great idea!!! It also helps me keep an eye on what the kids are doing online which is a bit sneaky but unfortunately necessary. One thing that it doesn't seem to be able to do which would be VERY useful, is to log in to my own computers even when they're turned off. This would be great to allow me to access my files when I'm away from home. Perhaps it's already possible and I just haven't figured it out yet. All this considered, I love it. Plant manager. Excellent way to manage and chance settings on remote power and other process plants. Love the app on my ipad Not that easy on the iPhone6+ as the app only allows touch recognition at a single pointer position on t he screen so it requires the whole screen to be repositioned so that a single place can be touched The phone app is good to look ans observe but very difficult to use as an operating tool

Just about flawless. Works almost flawlessly except for some keyboard shortcuts such as shift-click to select everything between two points. Other than that I am yet to find anything I cannot do

Amazing. I was just able to program and compile in visual studio from my pc using my iPad and this app. Amazing. I just tried to play diablo 3 and it also worked!! Great with mouse controls too. Looking into buying the pro version for the sound! Which would be epic

Essential to manage your network.. This product allows me to log onto each key PC in my network at home and at the office no matter where I am in the world. Running updates and work on the right machine at the right time or even working remotely on another machine when I do not have access to my laptop.

Highest if all high recommendations. LogMeIn has wonderfully fulfilled society's terms of the iPhone that it is 'a computer in your hands'. With this, you can literally access your running computer without utilising several apps on the iPhone and also without dealing with its limitations to not being able to use certain programs for work, viewing and editing documents etc. Although the viewing quality is not quite impressive, it makes up for this superbly. Hope to see this element improve in the future.

Fast, effective and incredibly handy!. Have had very few issues using this app. It has made by job managing IT systems MUCH EASIER! Even when I was in Thailand, where mobile coverage is average at best, I still had a fairly fast connection with computers back home in Australia. A must have for any computer nut.

The best on apple and PC. This is simply awesome. I first found it on PC an have used it non-stop as a solution for gaming over internet but being able to run the game on a local area network. When some modded games didn't work on LAN me and my friends run it over logmein and it works. Highly recommended.

Logmein. This application is Freaken Awesome!! Its the best Ive seen and used. Very user friendly and very easy to set up! You have access to your PC from your iPad within minutes! You need to be logged out of your iPad while setting up your PC. Soon as you've downloaded program to PC just log in from your iPad! And viola! You're looking at the desk top of your PC from your iPad! You can even use your mouse to navigate your PC on your iPad...too Freaken crazy!! But love love it!! Good work Logmein....will definitely buy!

Angry customer!!!!. I paid a fortune for their Ignition App a little while back and now they are telling me they are removing it and I have to use this free app which doesn’t have all the features of the version I paid good money for. Ignition for reference sake was one of the most expensive apps in the App Store at one point. Now they try and pass this app of as the same when it’s clearly not. I am not impressed and will continuously give this app bad ratings until they resolve the issue.

Hardwareman. Awesome app!!! I've been using logmein for 18 months carrying my laptop and connecting through wifi, more recently through my iPhone 'hotspot'..... Now I don't need the bulky laptop but an iPad is now on my shopping list because it's soooo small on my iPhone :-) ( have to zoom in and move screen around way too much it slows things down a bit) but I don't have to go to business premises so often now and for that I say : "LOGMEIN ROCKS!!!!!" Update... : iPad works brilliantly with logmein!!!!!!!!!

Really Usefull. Really Usefull app! I've tried all kinds of remote management apps, but this one I found extremely good, especially due to fact that it is cross platform, so I can control all of my devices whether windows or Mac, which was not possible with either Remote Desktop or Apple remote management. The controls are really intuitive and uncluttered, and has the characteristics of a well designed app. Overall I love this app!

Handy Access. There's so many times I've needed access to the home computer at work and play, this app makes it all possible. From large files I couldn't transport to accessing forgotten files and lessons, it's even been most helpful working across operating systems, i don't have to install the same programs on all my devices, so i don't have problems with programs - nothing stops the show! :)

Great app. Love this app, so simple to set up, now I can easily log in to any friends and family's computers (if they install the client software in their side) if they ever have any issues that I can fix for them, and having moved over to Australia from the uk just a couple of years ago this is perfect for me..... And it's free

Just The Gnome. Well this is my first ever report on an app or program for that matter but this is just the best. After some small problems (not reading instructions) I was amazed that I had my home computer PC screen clearly in my iPad 2 and everything working downloading files direct and then looking at the c, d and e drives in windows explorer with no problems. Sliced bread has nothing on LogMein. Thanks guys.

Logmein app for remote control of desktop from iPad. I downloaded the app for logmein after I saw how it works on another persons iPad. Love the ap. easy to install and easy to use.. I bought the full version same day. It works exactly as they say. The video streaming is a little jerky but that may be due to bandwidth perhaps. Otherwise so convenient when on the move.

Amazing. It's an amazing app, the simple fact that remote connectivity is now that simple makes me feel like in a James Bond movie, it's great help and have control of others devices with this app. However, needs some improvements that only time will do. By the way I have just the free app, I can't imagine how good is the paid version.

Perfect. This app is perfect. Effortlessly downloaded software on PC, created account. Then downloaded iPhone app and connected remotely to PC. The whole process took less than 5mins. I've only had the app for 24hours so I haven't explored all the options, but everything I have used so far works perfectly. No dramas remote accessing from work today over Optus 3G. Very impressed with responsiveness over 3G connection. First time I have used 5 stars! Highly recommended.

Great App. This app is just fantastic. A little difficult to first navigate but it only takes a short time to get the hang of it and your up and running. Great job and well done to the team of designers. Needs a tab button though. Can't find one just yet.

Changed the way I work.... Great App - dead easy to setup, gives me total control of my laptop which I usually leave in the office. I can even ghost in, pick through the internal network drives, and print documents in the office - all from anywhere, all from iPad. Full access to email, all folders, my laptop desktop. E.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. Only dropped a star because the controls can be a little finicky sometimes. I know that's the limitations of the touch screen and different operating systems. Once you get the hang of it though, all good. And this is the FREE version... Unbelievable.

Great tool and free.. I'd had purchased the LogMeIn Ignition app several months ago, I got this on special and before it had it price jump. So it was really nice to see LogMeIn release a free version. Although there are some limitations of the free app, it will fit most people's needs. I use it to access a number of systems, from windows servers to OSX.

Almost perfect. The logmein app is almost perfect, very little has to be clicked to gain access to your computers, the app remembers who you are etc, so no 'logging in' , passwords etc, although it would be nice to have a password as an option, especially if your iPad is available for other people to use. My requests for the next update - Sound, followed by an optional 'hide' function for the menu bar at the bottom of the screen.

Cheap. A little more expensive than the ignition version

It gets no better. If you use logmein via a web browser on a smartphone or a tablet device then this should be the only way that you access your computers remotely. I tried to log into my Mac at home via my iPad but the experience was so time consuming and clumsy that I searched the app store for an app. Why I didn't look earlier is beyond me. Woks perfectly and is very fast compared to a browser. If you use LogMeIn at all, this is a must have app! Thank you so much for your efforts.

LogMeIn great app. This is a great app for staying in control of a bunch of computers from iPhone Ipad or laptop when away from base. The pro version has massive functionality but is too expensive for the home user. The basic version provides most things you want.

Brilliant Application!!!. Thank you for this fine app.. This app has a button for those stuburn servers that require a password at the login screen (Ctrl+Alt+Del) so you can actually type your password in without being locked out, it also has a 2 finger tap feature which allows you to copy/paste easily for fast navigation, it also has the option to either use the cursor to navigate the page or use the page to navigate to the cursor (very handy), there are extra features on the keyboard which I found very useful but I can't list them all here, all in all the best remote application I have come across so far, very well done to the creators of this excellent application, they really thought about the user on this one, a definite 5/5 Stars 😉👍

Great app!! Couldn't live without it!!. If some ones listening it would be great if you can remotely transfer files between locations on the remote destination without having to first come to the iPad and the back to the remote computer.

Best app I have. This is simply the most impressive app I've ever come across, and it's even better that it's free. It's not ad-supported and has all the functionality you could ask for. You can just look at your computer's directory, or control the desktop directly. There is a very forgiveable lag present, but maybe that's just my internet. You can store files and transfer directly to/from your computer from iTunes. There's Dropbox and Google Docs access. You can save passwords. You can rename files, and update your files if you've changed them somewhere else. The interface is just brilliant, it's clever and useable. I'm just gushing over this thing, this made my iPod a whole new machine. Still can't believe it's free.

Great app!!. Have used the web based version in the past and this is just the icing on the cake, can check up on things while lying in bed. Only thing is when you end session the laptop screen turns back on for a bit as "the mouse has been moved"

Excellent. This is the only app that I've written a review for because so far it's the only one that's exceeded my expectations. I love the fact that these developers have pushed the boundaries of what apps can and can't do. Love it! Very smooth and simple to use, easy instructions to understand. Great work!!!

LogMeIn. Initial reaction is that the LogMeIn App is more intuitive than other similar software..remote control is OK , but not great. Seems to work well, file transfers etc... Easy to grasp hw things work. Ability to link to cloud services is great.. App is great for someone traveling light, but still needing files on the home network, or the ability to do small jobs on the computer at home. BUT it comes down to price, as the useful functions are only available in the Pro version. I think the Pro version is overpriced, and I will not be purchasing at the current price - especially given that I can achieve the file transfer functions via VPN and a cheaper, fixed price, File Browser App. Too bad.

Gr8 app. Just loaded this to my mothers comp. no more rushing around when she can't access Facebook. Can simply load this on my phone or computer and fix the problem. Easily to install and setup. Add multiple computers to your account. Downside is the non file sharing without the pro version, but otherwise gr8 app.

Wouldn't let me log in again. App worked brilliantly connecting to my Mac through my iPad4 till I quit LogMeIn on my Mac. When I reopened it, all login/power buttons were greyed out! Couldn't seem to find any obvious solution on the web so I downloaded the app every time I wanted to use it to reconnect. Very irritating! This was fixed after I shutdown my computer overnight and turned it on again. LogMeIn also disabled the sound on my Mac after I played songs in iTunes on my Mac through my iPad. To turn the sound back on, on your Mac, go to System Preferences; Sound; Output; and manually change the device for sound output from LogMeInSoundDriver to Internal Speakers. I've wasted many hours working all this out so I've given it a low rating despite the program working ok.

Really really needs to make use of FaceID. Really needs to make use of FaceID for iPhone X owners, and TouchID for users on older iPhones. Feels so outdated having to type in a password on a device when biometric security protocols available on modern devices do the job more efficiently and arguably more safely given how weak many users text passwords are.

Must have app. This app is intuitive, clean, and above all completes its native function with out any fuss at all. The interface is great looking and simple to use on an iPhone. This app is free and does much more than you would expect from a free app. Great product would recommend.

Well done. There are so many ways this app could have been done badly, but logmein seems to get it dead right. While it will never be as easy to operate a computer using a mobile phone as it would be to be sitting in front of it, this app has some really creative UI mechanisms for getting the job done with a minimum of fuss. No real defects that I can see, so five stars.

Brilliant!. Fantastic app. I can virtually run my office from anywhere using my mobile phone or iPad on the road or my laptop at home. I've recently returned from a trip overseas where I also had full control of my office computer, printer and emails. I can't rate it highly enough.

Pointless App. To connect to your pc you have to pay money

IPad app works great. Provides all the basic control functionality, plus some extremely well thought out interface control issues, like zooming, dragging, right clicking and advanced keyboard control. Just right for keeping an eye on the parent's computers.

So handy. I've only used the logMein app for a short time but have loved it so far. I needed to have access to my computer while away without lugging a laptop around and so far has done the job perfectly. Of course you have to have to have a subscription to logMein for it to work but you get a fortnight trial first and the app is free.

Take your desktop on the road. LogMeIn is a fantastic tool for any mobile salesperson or for anyone that wants to just check up on their PC while on the go. Access all your programs on your PC with ease. For the small business person, keep working when on holiday or at home sick. It's also worth the upgrade to Pro. Take back your weekends, just LogMeIn. Job done!

Log me in is great. This app works good. Easy to set up and connect. It would be good to have my mouse and finger options work the same but for what I need this for it works ok. No problems on connection. The finger mouse is ok but if you have a bluetooth mouth teathered to your iPad it's even more accurate. Now I can leave the office and still access those files if I need to.

INCREDIBLE!!. I'm amazed, I can play adobe flash player games, stream a better web browser and loads loads more! This has taken technology to the next level. Giving the iOS devices the abilities of their computer has more capabilities than we realise today!

Best app ever. I wanted to have an early night tonight as I have a big day ahead of me. I was randomly searching apps on the app store and came across this amazing thing. I just ran Skyrim on my IPhone!! Not that I could do all that much, but I was simply taken back by what this app has to offer. This is going to come on handy when I'm at work and want to schedule downloads so that they're complete by the time I get home. To the developing team. I'm going to get little sleep tonight. Great but.... ...too expensive - if you want to use it properly. And once you've played with it, trust me, you will. There are other apps out there that do essentially the same thing (though probably not with as much class as the logmein mob) but, really?! Do I need yet Another subscription fee on top of paying for home net and then fees for 3 mobile devices, news subscriptions, premium app subscriptions...? The list goes on. It would just be nicer if there were a couple of treats going around and as this app is actually unnecessary, I wish it were this one. Because it is real nice and all.....

Glad it's finally free!!. This app is by far the best remote control solution I have used and although you get more features if you pay for the upgrade, the free version includes all the essentials so it does not feel crippled like some of the competing options available. I have used the old paid app (think it was called logmein ignition) and can honestly say that this is much better!!!

Ridiculous Price Hikes. The app itself works well. I’ve been happy with it for almost 10 years. It was free for a long time, and now it’s been increasing 100USD per year every year since 2014. $350 for individuals??? The features you get are identical to when it was $150 but I should just pay more and more and get nothing extra? No thanks.

Thought I was going to have to switch remote software!. The app is great! I only thought there was a paid version for the iPad and I stumbled upon this. I was actually looking for other apps. I look after a wireless hotspot and now I can easily (easier than computer) log in while I have a user on the phone because it is quick, and a one click login! Awesome work "log me in"!

This is ----almost --- perfect.. I saw this and loaded it right away. So hopeful. And it's great!! Almost. It is a little clunky on third party environments like flash, but I rarely use stuff on flash so I won't miss that, too much. Maybe a few times. The other place where it test finicky is doing highlight cut and past work. That is where it looses that all important fifth star. And I do use that a bit. That said making the mouse work in a tough environment is hard stuff and they haver an elegant solution. Very well done. Now since all my work applications are flash free, and the hight cut and past does work, I really have to say well done logmein! I really think this a top app for folk like me that is always away from the office, and I can work on my base machine anywhere in that works on the iPad. Yes, I be one happy camper. Grate work!

Stable, Capable, Usable. Considering this is free, this app is the best for ease of use and accessibility. The virtual mouse makes a world of a difference, and makes scrolling rather easy. I'm happy to see this on my iPad!

Dull and bland. Sure you promote feature enhanced but the look of the new design is dull and bland looking. Paying customers deserve better. The UI was perfect as it was allowing us to see depth in design & functionality. Why did you have to mess with perfection? I would give it less than 1 star if I could. I’ve seen many iterations of the UI on the App Store for almost 10 years now and I have to say this flat uniform design is the worst!

Never again. I used LogMeIn for years after buying their expensive Ignition software, then getting grandfathered onto this new version. Well, they dropped users from this, giving us the option to spend HUNDREDS of dollars a year to continue connecting to our computers. Nope, I’m not that stupid. I’ve since switched over to a different desktop application that has a “pay once” model, and costs a fraction of what LogMeIn is asking. I’ll never use LogMeIn again.

Doesn’t work very well. I have two Windows 10 computers with LogMeIn. Stopped being able to see the screen on one of them. Emailed for help and got none. They’ve raised the price by more than 300 % in the the last three years. Trying to cancel my account.

OMG with all the moving the screen around a pointer urgh. You have to move the screen AROUND your mouse pointer which remains in middle of screen at all time. Very annoying.

Big Help. I haven't had any issues with the app needing to be reinstalled as yet after using for 1 week. It is a big help to be able to access on my iPad desktop applications on my office computer that I use in running my business. Use with the Apple Pencil is good. It is a little slow and clunky to use programs in my desktop though the app, but I don't know if that is just the nature of remote access generally. Overall, a very useful app and I will be paying the monthly subscription cost to keep using it once my trial is over.

Useful with limitations. It’s great to have the opportunity to log in to my desktop remotely. The keyboard generally transmits well. However, use of the mouse is difficult (clicks and drags), and remote sounds do not transmit reliably.

Excellent product. Easy to use and very handy for accessing anything I need from my work computer right from my phone.

Doesn’t really work. The phone app needs some MAJOR tweaking. Having to move the screen to the mouse is ridiculous. Then logging in sometimes works, but mostly not.

It’s the greatest possibly the best thing anybody can use. This application is definitely the greatest as it can possibly be!!!!!!

Use it Everyday!. I’ve had more problems lately with my account taking a long time to authenticate to the LogMeIn servers. The interface is a bit better, but there has not been any major improvements to the workflow.

Terrible! Not just bad or poor, absolutely terrible.. If it’s frustration you’re looking for or you take pleasure in useless circular pursuits this app may be for you but if you’re looking to connect with a remote computer easily and seamlessly every time this is NOT it! Pure crap!

Works Great for SMB. Very pleased with this app. Any time I can be lazy and not get out my laptop, I'm all for it. Navigation and UI are very smooth. This will make me cringe just a little less when I get that annual bill.

Can’t justify the ever increasing price. Paid $30 for the pro version before, now I am expected to shell out hundreds per year to give my dad tech support? Quit subscribing after it hit $149. Now it’s $249!? Someone deserves to get fired for this one. The product hasn’t improved to justify the increased cost. I’ve moved on to more affordable means of remote access.

Hate the “upgrade”. I’ve been using LMI since 2014 run my network of systems. I use to really enjoy the iOS app as it can do a ton with it. Now? This latest version is terrible. Crashes all the time, can’t do remote system to system transfers. All they did was put a bunch of GUI changes and over complicated what was once a decent product. Has me wanting to look at alternative options.

Stress relief. This has made my administrative work so much more convenient . To be able to log on to my office from my home. Great program.

Buggy Update. Latest update takes FOREVER to load the Home screen (computer list) on iPad and is otherwise buggy in general. It is so bad that I am CANCELING the paid subscription that I have had for over a decade ($900+ per year). This is a mission critical application for my business and it simply does not work anymore. Very disappointing!!

Cannot get this to work. Instructions describe interface elements that don’t even exist. Documentation is very poor. Was working briefly, then next time I log on, it’s greyed out and says “restricted”. Have been hammering on this problem for days with extensive research & troubleshooting & nothing works. Not intuitive. Not reliable.

no longer works on iPad Pro. I used to use Logmein on my iPad Air and on my iPhone. It still works on my iPhone, but now that I have an iPad Air Pro I can’t get past the main screen that shows my computers. Cannot select any of the computers and the their is a continual double icon spinning in the middle of the screen.

Not ready for prime time.... As an app to be able to seamlessly control your work computer, this one falls pretty flat. Support for an iPad Pro is apparently non-existent (on the phone with support - and they can’t find a manual or any guidance). Just very little control of a Windows system (HOW do you click and drag? They can’t figure it out and neither can I!). The only reason I give it two stars is that the connection speed is better than expected and it seems stable and solid otherwise. The desktop app, however, is great and works well.

Huge, Huge Problems with Catalina. I’ve been a Logmein user on Macs for years, but the latest Mac OS upgrade to Catalina has been pretty disastrous. I’ve had to get Logmein tech support on the phone twice, and still having trouble. I get it that Apple may be the main culprit, but Logmein has gotta get this resolved.

Be wary. Absolutely terrible customer service. Easy to add services..but almost impossible to cancel. Even if you cancel credit cards they will auto renew at increased prices. You must call and navigate their call center purgatory to cancel. It appears they intentionally waste the time of their customers. I can not support a company that intentionally places barriers like this to exit.

Amazing, but 3 computers only? Lame. The product is great. But having only 3 computers for a standard license is ridiculous - after that it’s $800 per year (!!!!). Fix your plans! Give us 5 computers on standard.

Ok by me. Have paid hundreds for subscription yearly for pro on my laptop for many years. Worth every penny. Great program. I’ve just downloaded the app for my Apples....so we’ll see how this goes. Logged in seamlessly.

Horrible customer service. Good luck trying to contact them. The app contact does not work. I have called 2 times to cancel service for which they told me they cancelled it both times and apologized. Just received my 3rd notice in the mail. This is borderline harassment.

App and your server is slow to respond and at time will not connect in last few weeks.. Your app has slowed down and not connecting fast as it use to here in the last 2 weeks I’ve noticed. Also getting connection issues from your server.

Doesn’t play well with an iPad keyboard. Intermittent ability to login. Had support help and after resetting my password numerous times to finally be able to login. Then, after the support call, had the exact same problem!

Customer service does not exist. Terrible customer service. A company that is only good when things are working correctly. No one at their office when they say they will be. Prices are inconsistent. It was good until latest “upgrade”.. Latest upgrade made it much less intuitive and less user friendly, now very “developer” like. Something only a 23yo programmer could love. Pricey for what it is given how competitive this mrkt is.

The service works fine mostly, Too expensive. On the basic plan you only get two computers to access and for what you have to pee annually I think it’s a poor value you also cannot access network attach storage on the file transfer function as well as some software will not display properly like Drobo, or some versions of Internet explorer through the terminal window

Times out quickly. The connection times out to soon, if I switch to an other app it only lasts 20 seconds.

Great for Free. Otherwise not so great. The company honored the deal I bought. I believe it was $25 on-time purchase on the App Store and that implemented the free version for ten years. It is 2020 and no longer free. I will miss it.

Over priced. It used to be a good program but now every year they raise the price by $100. it is only for 2 computers. Now up to $349. I cant even find out how to stop auto renew. I have used this program for many years but now I am done. Will be going elsewhere.

16GB of RAM and this app still won’t background properly??. Really, for the price you charge, you should be able to invest some dev resources to figure out how to keep this running in the background. Not hard. Use a GPS connection like some apps do to keep the idle timeout at 0.

Does not work on iPads. I recently downloaded the app for my new iPad to use on long work trips. Unfortunately the app does not let me actually log into my host computer and tech support cannot offer any assistance. Logmein is obviously worthless if I cannot log myself in and I would give this app a 0 if I could. This needs to be fixed.

This was my most useful application.... ... until I chose to restore my iPad. Now I'm told that my iPad is not supported. Other applications allow for users to run previous versions of the app if/when they have paid (as I have) and are using older tech. I am bummed. This application once made my iPad worthwhile. Fantastic. When traveling it is so easy to access my desktop from my iPad!

Goodbye.... This was once a great app... now the developers have gotten super greedy, as far as the ridiculous pricing... I'll soon delete the app as it certainly isn’t worth the cost. There are cheaper (even free) alternatives out there - plus with the recent explosion in cloud computing, one doesn't really need remote access to his or her desktop as much anyway. Peace ✌🏾

No Shift Click!. It looks like people have been requesting shift-click for years and they still don’t have it! This would be so a great app if they would give us this one tiny feature! (Creating a section box doesn’t work for all programs).

Hard to use. It is hard to get it to click and learn what makes the buttons work. Easier to just log in from a computer. The app isn’t made to navigate on actual screens well

Suggestion. On the app, it would be helpful to have a way to show any Windows updates that are pending. Thanks.

Works perfectly. Been using for years. Reliable and secure.

Waste of time. The desktop never came up on my ipad. I was on the same WiFi network and it never fully loaded. I could move the mouse on the screen and then see it move on my Mac but I could not see what I was clicking on. Thank gosh there is a trial

Works Perfectly. Downloaded the software on two computers, and the client on two iOS devices. Everything connected flawlessly.
