Ok kindof annoying for a7 year old like me😒. Seiriously im seven a game like this is ok but I don't play it that much.

fun. memories of fun stories saved on here. the stories are able to trace and then draw your own part. the story your children nade are helpful. now all three of my kids go to art classes for young children. this is a great and fun app. just one thing. can you add a updates. 1. everytime you watch a video i have to press the home button (make a go back button) 2. make it some way to allow all the fun stories your children make come up in photos so you can text them to freinds 3. make a update where you can add stickers for fun and typing so you can type a story in a box. well other than that it's a good app ❤️

Please update. I use this App with several different kids in occupational therapy sessions as the kids are very motivated by the video of their drawing and handwriting. I updated my iOS yesterday, and the app crashed in the afternoon as soon as my sweet little guy pressed the check mark for the video to play--very disappointing. Please update quickly--it was a terrific app.

Great App Encourages Drawing. Terrific app. Easy to use, a great way to encourage my preschooler to draw and write. He especially loves the recording function. His drawings instantly become stories he wants to share and watch again.

Fun for all ages!. Found this app through Starbucks pick of the week and decided to try it out! Im well beyond the ages of 2-6, but was so amazed at the voice recording! Im dazzled by the sheer imaginative power I can possess. Sad, but true. I love this app.

Great App!! A Must have.... I have a 3 year old who loves to draw and talk. This app captures the whole thing perfectly! She loves to watch and listen to her creations! I even enjoy this app...and most kids app are less than fun. Great job!!

Need to be able to turn off sound. Nice concept and I like the simple drawing screen. But it is much less usable because I can't turn off the sound. It always opens with annoying kid music and an explanation of what to do. If I want to give this to my kid to play with while we are waiting in some quiet situation, I don't want the sound on. I can't find any way in settings to turn it off. Having the phone on silent doesn't make any difference

It's okay. So I downloaded this app thinking it was going to be very versatile! For one it's cute but the child does not have the option to changed the width of the doodle...meaning if the child wants to use a finer style of drawing he or she can't. There are no blank pages for the child to draw on! And it just records what you say and how you drew the picture but the picture does not move. I think this should be 99 cents versus $1.99. I'm a bit disappointed. I guess I was expecting more.

Marvelous!. Why didn't someone come out with this app a year ago? It's brilliantly simple, and lets even the youngest kids get into creating pictures and telling brief stories about them. The prompts and sketch-starters are great for getting the creative juices flowing. Get ready to make some new family classics with this. I felt like I was making some of those old classic drawing animations from Sesame Street of yesteryear, where kids draw and tell stories and laugh. Lots of giggles! Can't wait to share this with my 3 year old nephew. It'll be fun to play with now, and even more fun when we review the captured video and audio years from now.

Just lovely!. We have many of Sago Mini’s imaginative apps. The developers’ purposeful, streamlined approach and delightful artwork has been keeping my 5-1/2 y.o. niece busy exploring for the last 2 years. She still loves interacting with all the playful animal characters. Thank you !

another fantastic app from zinc Roe. My 4-year-old twin daughters are still playing the previous Tickle Tap Apps, like Sound Shaker and Boogie Bopper. But Doodlecast is a home run. I wish I could give it more than five stars. I'll admit that the first time "we" played it, I was doing some work on my computer and one of my daughters was nearby with the iPad. She loved the question prompts, such as "What makes you feel happy" and "What tastes yucky." She went through them one by one, considering the questions and then drawing a response. Later we did a show & tell with her mother, and Mom got to see and hear the entire process, from our daughter thinking out loud about the questions to seeing the drawings magically appear on the screen. Since then we've used the app in different ways, usually talking a little about the questions and then drawing the pictures, either collaboratively or in turns. My daughters love seeing their drawings come to life in video form, and my wife and I love having the videos in our Photos folder to look at whenever we want (and share with relatives).

Creative!. I love this game! I love how you can record yourself drawing, and how you can draw whatever you want! This app is so creative and fun! It is definitely worth the money! 😊

I love this game. It allows you to draw and tell story with your voiceyou also get to kill things you know by making a blend of texting I don't know but it's good just get it you don't have to kill things but you know it's just to try and gain

Priceless. This app is wonderful. We've only played with it this morning, but I want to save the videos we made forever. I don't have anything that captures the kids personalities as well as this. Thanks! This is going to be great for messages to far away friends and relatives. Now I have to find a similar app for grown-ups that I can use for work. I do think there should be a blank option.

Add to Sago World!. This game is fun. I love it. However, I play it less because it is not on World. It would be a good idea to add it to world, because many kids like Doodlecast and World, and they would be good together. Also, you should add a hospital or doctors office game to world, and I’m talking about those open ended digital playsets, like zoo, big city, airport, vacation, farm, and camping. I love your games. I play them every day. They bring laughs, unlimited creativity, and giggles. All of your games are a little bit creative. Adorable. Safe. Fun for all ages. Thx.

Awesome App. This simple app is incredibly fun/useful for our children ages 4 & 6. They love to draw & pretend, and this app recording their actions/interactions via voice while they created brought a whole new level of consciousness to their creative abilities. Its been amazing to see their development increase, and their storytelling explode in conjunction w their creations. Amazing.

Lovin' it!!. I love this app!!! I'm a grandma and I use it to "play" w/ my 5-year old, out-of-town grandson!! Now, they've added an opportunity to take a photo and doodle around that pic all the while recording your voice!!! Even better would be to import a photo already stored on my I-pad!! So, then, I can 'decorate' my grandkids w/lotsa hearts!! Also, young people at my gym love it as another form of social media w/their friends!!

Several benefits!. I have been looking everywhere for an app that would let me & my son write our own words and sound them out with our own recorded voices. I can create words he's familiar with and add phonics...This is brilliant!

Sweet app. Love this app. Easy to use, clean design, no annoying ads that I can see. My daughter is 4 and especially loves playing back her drawings to herself and having the kitty meow his approval at the end. I would recommend!

I love it, but there's a bug.... I'm 11, and I love this game. I'm probably waaaaaaaaaay too old for it, but I don't care. But, I have a problem... Whenever I try to pause the video I'm making, the video will get ruined. What happens to the video, is when you watch it, the first time you paused, will be at the end of the video, and the second time u paused, will be at the start... And when there's more than two pauses, the video will end up like complete randomness... I know why people haven't been reporting this, it's because this game is targeted for kids, and the kids probably don't tell their parents, because they rarely watch their videos. Also, I think there should be more tools, like a smearing tool, and a spray tool, you know, like, more ways to make it realistic, and maybe, also, a way to control how much control u have over the lines, like a way u could make the drawing smoother. Open ended and Creative. I am always on the look-out for apps that allow my child to be creative, while also offering supports. In other words, a blank slate is just too overwhelming for my 7 year old, and my 4 year old will just scribble. This app, however, gives suggestions about things to draw. The prompts and supports are just enough without making it too structured. My kids love the fact that they are making a video while they work.

Super cute!!. This game records audio while you are doodling on it. It caught me off guard at first, but it’s so adorable to hear her talking while drawing and to hear what is going through her head. I love this.

There’s a bug update. I love this app but Still can’t playback sequence correctly if paused. Is there anybody listening? Same complaint as April 7 review. When you pause a sequence it doesn’t get played back correctly after it gets saved. This app is very cool for doing stop motion with my daughter but has a serious flaw. Hope you will look into it.

Nearly perfect; inconvenient pause button. Love the concept and it's been fun so far. My only issue is the pause button. It's currently in the top center of the drawing area and my three-year-old kept accidentally brushing it. I used Guided Access to block it, but now he's frustrated that he can't draw there. Would like to see an alternative. Otherwise it's fantastic!

Doodlecast is brilliant and priceless.. My daughters 4 and 6 were immediately hooked on Doodlecast. They figured out how to use everything right away including the video recording capability and they just cranked out doodles and videos of the doodles. They collaborate on pictures together and banter back and forth and compliment each other's work. They sit individually and make doodles for mommy and daddy, speaking their thoughts aloud as they draw and change their mind and erase and draw again. It's super cute and uncomplicated. And I watch the videos and think how precious they'll be for me someday. All the doodles that we parents keep in a drawer. Eventually I just photograph them because you can't keep them all. The drawer is full. Well these are already on disc and they TALK!!! They talk in your child's voice and you hear their thoughts as they worked on the drawing and it's captured to be enjoyed forever. This isn't even really a review. This is more of a thank you.

My daughter loves it! So do I :). My daughter was a fan of the 'Singing Fingers' app so I wanted to get this one for her. She loves it! It was fun to see and hear her narrate her drawings but it was a little mind bending to realize she was creating something like an animated story book. The app lets the user save her recordings, so my daughter's stories are shaping up to be something like chapters of a larger book (granted the first few chapters are mostly to do with princesses and their beautiful hair :p) and I'm looking forward to seeing this epic continue. 5 stars!!! Two last things: I'm playing this on an iPhone, it would be outstanding on an iPad. Also, it's fun to let music play in the background as you draw. When you play it back, it's like your drawing has a soundtrack (audio quality very, very good). Thank you!

A Hit With My Grandchildren. This is such a fun app for my two grandchildren--ages 6 and 3. They can while away hours "doodling." (Of course, this grandma does not let them spend hours on an ipad, but it's a good creative tool to occupy them when making supper or doing laundry, etc.)

I LOVE IT!!. This game is awesome! It looks like a kid game but trust me any age can play it and it's fun. I agree with one of the reviewers tho. Stickers and typing would be amaze! But overall I love it so much. Even tho I'm the only person I know who plays it, sure there's MILLIONS that play. ❤️😍😋

GREAT APP! but Maybe few adjustments. Doesn't work. Sago make great apps, but I'm disappointed that this app doesn't even load properly - choose a scene to play with and it just sits there trying to load. I expect better from sago. This is is iOS 7 with an iPhone 5.

Ok. It's a fun game to mess around with but maybe to make it better add more colours, like a skin colour, black and white...

Fabulous. This is a fantastic pre-school app. I bought the super bundle and I care for children aged 2 to 5 they find lots of surprises and laughs and it helps with communication and planning and they have the control its very simple and great colour just right for them to have fun

This app crashes. This app keeps crashing every time my daughter tries to make a movie of her drawing. She's 4 years old and is getting upset about, not recommended to buy this app.

Problem. This is my grand daughter's favourite program, and it has suddenly just disappeared from the folder where it lives. Can't find it anywhere except in 'purchased' and when I press 'open' nothing happens. Can't even re buy it and start again because it shows that I bought it already. Tried turning off the iPad and on again, didn't help. What do I do now? She's very disappointed and I'm very frustrated!!

THE SCENES ARE JUMBLED UP!. Please make the scenes right in order, the scenes are completely random!

Kids new favourite drawing app!. Fantastic drawing app, has rapidly become my kids favourite - a 5 year old & a 9 year old. Works perfectly on our iPad.

BRILLIANT!😃. I love everything about this game! I love drawing videos based on the questions asked such as "What's happening on the street?" and "What's in the box?" over and over again! I just wish black was a colour option. When I do elephant videos, I have to cope with dark brown. Other than that, this game is AWESOME!! Jessica age 9💛

Powerful learning tool!. As an adult I find this a powerful and fun app!! Also, I have a child who gets frustrated with school because handwriting is difficult for him. He loves drawing and telling stories with doodlecast! Its amazing-- it makes him feel so powerful and proud of his ideas!! I wish he could use this at school -- to be able to really show what he is thinking!!

Great, once we understand, what we are suppose to do (+ french please!). After the great musical apps and the insect app (creating à bug and watch it get In life!) I bought this one without even asking myself what it was... And I have ni regrets! The only thing is that I was not sure what to do! We (my 4 years old and I) realised that the point was to do whatever we would be inspired to do from the selections offered by the app. Nice, but would be funnier if it was random... Other point: this app is created In Ontario (wich is bilingal) and (as for Stella & Sasha) it would be nice to have the choice for french comment... Especially for the mood section! J'ai toujours encouragé Zinc Roe parce que je considère que leurs applications sont d'excellente qualité tant pour leur apport créatif et éducatif que pour leur beauté et simplicité (les enfants comprennent intuitivement). De plus, il s'agit d'une entreprise ontarienne et je crois que c'est un peu de notre devoir de faire découvrir à tous que ce qui se fait près de chez nous vaut (et dépasse) ce qui se fait au sud!

A really fun and unique app for kids!. I've played this app with a bunch of the kids that I work with, and they love it! The videos are fun to make and just as fun to watch. You should see some of the stuff they came up with; hilarious!

Another one to love from Sago Mini!. This is such an amazing app! I love that I can use it to record our guy’s cute little toddler voice as he describes what he’s drawing. He loves that we can watch what he drew and hear his own voice when we play back the video at the end. What an awesome way to save and share the early work of our budding artist! Sending it to Grandma is an extra plus.

Brilliant!. Great job guys! get rid of the sales pitch at the beginning- you won't need it- your customers will buy every app your team makes- kids under three will press the wrong button. suggestions from another Canadian app developer: I can see a whole facebook launch with parents sending in funniest videos- monthly contest maybe? Add some educational theme boxes in your next release. Find out which schools have iPad programs in canada an offer the app free to those programs. Give your programmers a pat on the back!

Excellent, fun, creative. I have Doodlecast Pro and use it a lot for teaching, so downloaded this for my kids' new ipad minis. They love it and are really getting quite sophisticated. Pro next! Just one wee bug where the app crashes if you create a second video after saving a previous to the camera roll... Fixed, this would be perfect. Oh, and now we can save in DC Pro, how about saving ongoing projects in this one too? Well done!

A super special app. We love everything about this app! Drawing and narrating is a magical combination. Last night when our little guy didn't have the iPad, he grabbed some pencil and paper to manually create more stories. This is amazing, because he's never done that before!

So awesome!. We just got this app, and love love love loooveee it. I have four boys ages 7, 4, 3 and 16 mos, and they could allll doodle away. They loved watching their creations at the end, and listening to themselves tell a story, or just talk. lol. They were SO proud to show daddy when he came home from work! My daughter loves this!. As an added bonus it gets her talking. It is hard to find an app that we can play with together. Doddlecast isn't cheesy like some children's games, so even mommy has fun with this one. I have wanted to record some of the cute things she says for awhile, and now I have a fun way to do it for nana. Well done!

What a neat app!. The whole family loves this app! We share the stories with each other and then email them on to other family members! It's neat t o draw a story and narrate it is well! I would love to see, the option to add new pages. Like new scenes! Definitely worth the money!

Near Best in App Store. There are only about a half dozen screencast drawing apps out their. This one is the best value for money, stores video in Photos and no cloud ($$$) subscription required. Great simplicity to get the job done, swipes a bit tricky. Dear Developer, add the ability to load a background from Photos and you will get five stars from me! Also market the app not just for children. This is great for teachers and anyone else want to do their own "RSA Animates"! Good job... 🚗...RB

OKAY.... This app is good. But I have noticed one issue, when I am drawing to controls get in the way. IT'S SOOOO ANNOYING! I keep on accidentally selecting a different colour! Also, app gets boring VERY quickly.

A good start. This app shows great promise, I especially liked the recording of our voices as we drew... Just a couple of tweaks would make it 5 stars.... 1. Move the ad for other apps to the parents page, it is distracting and disruptive. 2. Make a few more color and thickness of line options. Wow!!! :). This is an amazing app! The first update is really cool. But as it is, it's a great app for kids. LOVE IT!

Sound OFF option!!!. Lost me pretty much immediately with the inability to turn the sound off, even with the phone set to vibrate. Couldn't find a settings button to turn it off either. It's not enough to "turn the volume all the way down" because that turns my ringer volume down too. Haven't even tried the app.

Awesome. My 3 and 6 year olds love this app...and I do too! We've been creating stories and listening to them play back for hours. A+ app. I hope that more scenarios are released at some point.

So adorable!. I had no idea that this app recorded my daughter's voice as she's coloring. Now I have all these adorable videos of her talking to her pictures as she's coloring!

Problem. Is anyone else having issues with it loading. I'll exit the app shut the phone off and it still won't load. #help

Crashes on iOS5. This app immediately crashes when we try to open it on our original iPad running iOS5.

Great. My 3 year old loves this, especially after he finishes coloring and gets to watch it color like he did with his narration playing. He thinks his own jokes and sound effects are hilarious.

Super Fun. Downloaded this game for my grandkids. Wonderful colors, hidden treasures, and allows for lots of imagination!! Love having this on my phone...grandkids love to snuggle on my lap and we play together. 😊

Fun, easy to use app. Very cute app, and our 4 year old loves it. She will be able to also use it more creatively by drawing on imported photos. Good fun!

Drawing game is good.. It's a great drawing game for kids. It gives you ideas on what to draw, and great for developing imagination. I don't have kids but it's funny to use with friends. Fun for everyone.

Great tool for the imagination. Some people might miss the point of this app. It's a great opportunity to tell a story straight from the imagination. You remember imagination, don't you?

One point. We love this game but I really wish we could save the videos to my phone instead of just saving them on the app itself.

This could be great for.... Many other uses besides kids but that goofy audio tag at the end limits it's uses. Please create an iPhone version that is more like the doodlecast pro iPad version. Just take this app and make another iphone version that has the following: - not kid focused - allow drawing on photos - remove goofy "made by doodlecast for kids" audio at end Thanks.

Great for speech therapy. You can record voice while drawing, and pause. App saves your drawings automatically. Easy to use. PreK and elementary like it best, but some M.S. kids will also enjoy it.

Strangely confusing. Created cute movies with my daughter, but the export button is ghosted and there aren't any directions. Can't figure out how to save to camera roll.

5 year old devotee. My 5 year old loves this app! Lots of fun.
