Time consuming and pointless. I got this app to help my children remember to do their chores and see the money that they earn as they go along. It was very time-consuming to set up and a major headache when the kids check off their completion. Things like talking back and poor behavior cannot be locked for parental control only. My 10-year-old spammed her self 10 poor behavior marks Worth a dollar apiece just to see what it would do. I could not get her balance to reset to what it would be. The chores that were assigned for anytime of the week and multiple per day are also confusing when checking off. This is not quick, and it is not easy. I really regret this $4.99 purchase. If I could get a refund, I would.

Not to bad. This app is really good but just that I can only put 2 chores on the list. It cost money

Problems with the latest update. I loved this app until the latest update. It changed the balances in each of my kids’ accounts and now all the tracking I had been doing for YEARS is messed up.

Unsupported App. While this is a good app if you are only using it on one device, it doesn't sync well with other family devices. And it looks like there is no longer any technical support for the app--inactive tutorial webpages, broken links, unreturned email, misleading instructions on what extras need to be purchased. After discovering all this, I was able to get a refund from Apple. It really needs a single sign on feature, so you don't need to sync at all.

Bank money. I don’t like the fact that each chore is link to money, I would like to have the ability to have chores with stars only and be able to use it as I want

Awesome. I get to keep track of my chores while my mom can make allowance and trips I’m so so glad that I have a app to keep my screen time up, and get money you worked hard on your app keep the good or up

Can't get it to sync. Seems easy to use and set up 2 kids accounts. Don't like that we have to purchase the app for each device-- that increases the price quite quickly if you have 2 parents and 2 kids. But main frustration is that the syncing with Dropbox seems intuitive and easy EXCEPT it's not syncing on my husband's phone-- even though with both phones we get the message that syncing was successful.

Helped us be consistent. We’ve been using this app for about six weeks and it’s fantastic! It’s easy to use and customize: we were able to create different “chore” lists for our kids (who are 3.5 years apart in age) and they’ve enjoyed providing input and ideas of additional things they can do to help. They each decide what activity or item they want to earn (we use stars) and we decide how many stars they need to earn for said reward. Because the app is so easy to use and sync-able, we’ve been able to be more consistent with our expectations which has helped all of us; we have far less arguing and far more helping out.

iAllowance is Awesome!. Our whole family loves iAllowance. We tried a bunch of different ways to keep track of allowance and spending, but ended up with arguments and lots of extra junk. Now there's no question how much they've earned or what they can buy. The kids seem to understand more how much things cost and are learning about compound interest. We also don't have to worry about where all their cash went or why they lost it again. The app is so flexible I was able to add different amounts of interest for different accounts. The kids have started putting their money in savings b/c they noticed how the interest $ earned keeps increasing. I am able to disperse money to multiple accounts when they use the chore chart. That means a portion can go directly into savings, spending, tithe or whatever with only one touch of the device. Awesome. I love efficiency. I highly recommend purchasing the full version or the full upgrade on the light version. Completely worth it. One other note. I had an issue with the app only once having used it for about a year with 6 accounts active with all kinds of features. When I emailed Jim, the developer of iAllowance, he responded personally within hours, offering a quick solution to the problem. You will be hard-pressed to find and app of such high quality and flexibility that also comes with the personal assistance of the developer himself.

Free version only allows for 1 child. I’m not paying for something that I can’t test

Maybe it works- I can’t tell. I decided to try the free version of this app to see what it was all about. Well, don’t bother. The free version is so restricted that you can’t do anything. I had to upgrade just to add multiple children. Then when I tried to watch a support video (transactions) the link didn’t work. I couldn’t adjust the amount in my child’s account after she spent some of her money. I wouldn’t have minded paying the $3.99 for the full app, but don’t offer a free version that does nothing. I feel that it is misleading and they just want to sucker you in to buying the add ons. Deleted the app and purchased a different one.

Charges just to sync with a new device. I upgraded my phone and in order for me to sync the things I had done in this app it wants me to pay for an upgrade...I paid for the app when I downloaded it originally. What a scam, trying to make me pay again

Best chore app I’ve found. I tried a lot of apps before I finally settled on this one last year. This is the best in my opinion. I liked it so much that I immediately paid for the upgrade so I could have full access! It’s very simple and yet can do so much at the same time. I create a list of chores for each kid and whenever they do a chore, they get a check. Simple as that. I created a chore called “didn’t do chore” and it has negative money as the pay so they lose money if the don’t do it 😆. My kids used to mark all their chores on a board in the laundry room but it got too complicated and couldn’t remember when a tally was given or not. With this app, it’s dated so I simply go to the date to see if a chore was marked. When my kids want to buy something, I simply go to savings and withdraw money from their bank. Love this app! Also, with the new update, my account reverted back to basic and I lost access to both my kids and all the chores. However, I emailed the developer and by the next morning I had full access to everything I had paid for! Great communication and customer service.

Lost all my data. I had the paid iAllowance app for years. Kept track of all of my kids “money” on this app. It worked great until one day, poof... it was gone. I tried logging in one day and there was no record of my account. I have no idea how much the kids had in their checking/savings. The logs of where their money went, everything... lost.

Have used this for years - love it!. I’ve used this for years for my 2 kids. I use it every single day. I love how flexible the app is. When my kids were younger, in addition to keeping track of allowance for chores, I also awarded them with stars for good deeds - the stars could then be redeemed for a “prize” from my prize box. Now that they’re older (15 and 13) I use it just to keep track of allowance for chores. I love that I can deduct allowance as well - if they decide not to do a chore for the day, it subtracts $5 from their allowance. I pay them the actual money when they ask for it. My son has built up quite a balance over the years - over $500. My daughter is more of a spender, so she asks for money more frequently. James Spencer provides excellent app support - I’ve had several technical issues over the years and he has always responded immediately and has always resolved any issues I’ve had. Recently I and my 2 kids got new iPhones, and to get the app to synchronize across all 3 using our individual iCloud accounts, I had to pay again to buy the app from the App Store (previously, I paid in-app for the upgraded version), but I really didn’t mind, since this app has proved so useful to me.

I super-duper love this app!. I've been using iAllowance since it was brand spankin' new and it just keeps getting better and better. I have three kids and it can be hard to keep track of everybody's allowance, but this app makes it a breeze! It's also wonderful to have automatic scheduled transactions for adding their allowance to their accounts. I even use this app to keep track of our Family Fun Fund, then we all sit down together and figure out how we'll use it. One time we went go-kart racing. Another time, the money went toward a family membership to a local museum the kids love. Highly recommended!

Rip off. I signed up for an account, paid for the extras, and had to delete the app temporarily. When I downloaded the app again, it said it didn’t recognize my login info. Now, if I want to use the app again I’ll have to pay, again! I’m not a happy customer.

Makes allowance a snap.. I always forgot to pay allowance and would forget how much they had. Now they get it automatically. And, I can keep track of their purchases. The chore tracking is great too, but I mostly use the recurring allowance auto payment. They get to manage their money. So many ways to track chores or behavior and reward in diverse ways. Great graphics. Very use friendly and customizable.

Big help with keeping track of kids’ funds!. This app has been great for keeping track of allowance.

Useful, but steep learning curve.. I’ve been using this app for several years now to keep track of chores, allowance and savings for my 2 daughters. It’s a very powerful app with rich features allowing you to get creative and specific with how you want to incentivize chores and savings with your kids. I does however come with a bit of a steep learning curve. Initial setup can be a bit painful, especially in regards to the cloud sync feature. It does work eventually, and every time I get a new device of the kids upgrade to a new phone, I pretty much have to start the sync process from scratch.

Not working. Downloaded this tonight excited to use the app with my kiddos. Never have had an account l, but it’s saying there is an account attached to my email already. I can not log on as a new account and can not log on, apparently, on the existing account attached to my email. Won’t be using.

Very Hard to Sync for a Non Tech Person. The app seems like it will do ever I need it to, but one thing. I can’t get it to sync our IPhones. I was told by Verizon, if I use the Icloud sync I will get all text message my family gets. They also warned me not to use the Dropbox link due to software bugs. I’ll update when or I ever get it synced.

What happened to my account? It was deleted?. We were using iAllowance for years and then all of a sudden it was gone. When I try to retrieve the old account information it says that my account “may have been deleted”. What???

A fan. I started using this app a few years ago when I saw kids (ages 3, 6 & 8 years of age) pretend playing with their real cash and coins. Money was getting lost. This has been a perfect way for me to keep track of their allowance $. And the kids can spend their $ at anytime as long as they have some to spend. My 10 year old this year has even taken $ out of her account here and there so that she could have cash to spend. I'm a big fan of this app!!

Won’t Login. Was so excited to try, but it won’t login.

A Perfect app. This has way more features than we need, but the base functionality that we use - an allowance as a percentage of their savings – is so much better than anything else that’s on the market that we couldn’t get by without this. As the kids have grown, they’ve been able to see the impact of their purchasing decisions on their long-term income. Now that they’re 12-year-olds, I wish it had a chart and long-range planner they could use to see the present value of future allowance. Or maybe a “read-only” version they could sign into. Not because I don’t love the app, but because I love scope creep more.

Update deleted everything. Great. I’ve relied on iAllowance for many years to track my kids’ savings. An automatic update deleted absolutely everything. Time to delete and find a new system. 😡

Confusing: just go for iAllowance. Great app, but the process of upgrading to the purchase version is confusing and prone to mistakenly being charged twice. Better off just purchasing the top end version (iAllowance) to begin with.

Freezing frequently in the first 5 min of setting it up.. .

Does it!. Good program overall. Had to contact the programmer for setting up and syncing difficulties. But he followed up and got me going. All work as intended.

Unable to transfer to new phone. I paid for the app on my old phone and am unable to sync it to my new phone or any other devices. I’m not sure why it isn’t connected to my Apple ID. Disappointed.

Absolutely wonderful!. I love this app! It’s so amazing. My kids get their chores done and earn rewards for racking up the right amount whatever of the 4 options you choose as points. I use stars as my point system. You can set rewards for things such as cold hard cash or events that they want to go to, anything! And even change the currency. There are so many options! Updates immediately for everyone when I make changes and I can see if they are actually checking off their chores in real time. Did I say I LOVE THIS APP? Well I do!

Confusing- inapp purchase. I actually love the app. And my children do too. I downloaded the lite version checked it out and decided to pay for the full upgrade. Unfortunately the FULL upgrade can not be shared across devices like the regular app. So if you plan on sharing this app with more than one child & over multiple devices do not get lite and upgrade. Just get the iAllowance Chores and Allowance (cost less too)

Please add a delete feature to transaction sections. Almost perfect if only there was a way to delete transactions. Currently can only edit but not delete. :(

Great fit for our family. This is the perfect fit for our kids to track chores/savings/tithing/saving. Also, both times I had a question trying to figure something out they hit back to me right away with a solution. ♥️♥️♥️

Account got deleted with no notice.. I haven’t used the app in a while but have it to keep track of how much money my kids have. I just tried to log on and it tells me it doesn’t recognize my identifier and my account was deleted. I searched my email looking for notifications from them, but nothing.

No tutorial or overview👎🏽👎🏽. This has the potential to be an awesome app but I am not wasting a day or even an hour or two fumbling through and navigating in the dark to explore the potentials of purchasing an app knowing that the designers and builders obviously did not prioritize basics such as user friendliness in just the initial set up. If user-friendliness isn't a priority upfront it will most likely not be a priority long term and that's a HUGE deal breaker. ...with the benefit of saying goodbye to the piggy eyesore tile. Peace out ugly piggy bank icon.✌🏽 Because complaining about the slight perk in not looking at the aesthetic eyesore of the piggy tile appears superficial I will explain why the functionality was the deal breaker. Is set up for a highly educated adult is cumbersome and lacks user-friendly tips, tricks, walk-throughs or smooth integration how on earth would this be user-friendly for a teen, preteen or especially usage by a child?! The apps link to the tutorial in Dropbox is no longer found ANNNND there's NO WALK THROUGH, no tips, no pointers, NO EXPLANATION WHATSOEVER regarding ANY of the app. Which basically equates to you can count on wasting your precious time navigating in the dark to figure it all out in hopes that it's actually worth purchasing in the end. I won't gamble away a day or even an afternoon of my precious time towards sampling a potential dud especially allocating my time resource to one such as this that's lacking zero direction or overview regarding what you are setting up, e.g. "accounts" or what is actually being allocated to what account, e.g. what monetary value the stars are worth or how time settings relate, etc is NOT worth anyone's time risk investment. --- The "tutorial video" is no longer found in drop box & the entire app seems cumbersome at best to piece together into a functioning machine. I will take my business to a more streamlined company/app that holds user integration as an upfront priority.

.... Takes some time to set up, but is well worth it once you have! Very versatile and can be used for all ages and multiple reward and punishment types. My kids are 10 and 14 and have reacted very positively to it so far!

IAllowance. Excellent app!! I have a terrible memory and always forget wether I have paid my boys their pocket money from their chores. This app allows me to track each one individually and transfer cash over to another bank do I know I have paid them! I also love how it syncs with all my apple devices so that my boys can check their iPads to see what chores they need to do daily... LOVE IT :-D

Only syncs with same apple ID. If your kids have their own apple IDs, this app will not sync across devices.

Brilliant app. I am so glad I found this app. The kids love accumulating time for chores or general good behavior ( I set up a Mum's bonus which is given at my discretion). They are then able to use the time to play the wii or iPod games which allows me to monitor the time they are playing for.

Brilliant. I setup a Google doc spreadsheet to do something similar to this app but it was always so clumsy and difficult to maintain. This app does all and so much more in a much better way and the kids are so motivated now. The way I use it is that each chore earns the kids a few cents which automatically gets divided into the various bank accounts created for them, thanks to the percentage feature. By doing every chore, at the end of the week they have earned the amount that I was paying them in pocket money. No chores, no money. Then I have a section for 'fines' which withdraws money if they mess up. So easy and fun once set up. Even takes care of when the kids want to spend their money. Just enter in the withdrawal amount, what it's for and which account it's from and it's recorded. Totally recommend it.

Great for managing kids pocket money pity it takes sooo long to sync.. Has lots of functions for managing kids pocket money. Lets you work while syncing but why does it take soooo long. I could load dozens of spreadsheets in the time it takes to update.

Love this app!. This app does exactly what I need it to do - keep track of the kids' pocket money. Each week their allowance is automatically added, and when they want to spend their money I can update totals on the go. Love it!

Gets the kids motivated. This app has been really useful in getting the kids motivated and improving their behaviours. I have the app on the phone & iPad so I can update it anywhere. No more lists on paper that can get lost. I even award money for the kids that get into the car before Mum with all their things organised - of course one child is earning the money here!

Perfect. I'd almost given up finding a functional allowance app/ reward chat and then I found iAllowance which has every feature I was looking for: ability to subtract stars for bad behaviour; ability to customise chores/ desired behaviours and even use own photos for the icons; conversion of stars to a monetary amount; virtual bank that keeps track of deposits and withdrawals; ability to sync with other devises; easy to set up and use. I couldn't be happier with it. Fabulous work guys!

Short review. Ok I know there are tutorials and sample data, etc, but I created a 'kid profile' but couldn't figure out how to personalize it. After 1-2 minutes of trying, I uninstalled. I shouldnt need a tutorial to do something that basic. More UI thought = less need for lessons.

Fantastic. This is a great app, we have been using this for the past year and it is a great tool. Kids are happy and parents are happy too!

Keeps crashing. Was a good idea, but the app keeps crashing and it is DRIVING ME CRAZY because I had just finished setting all the chores, banks and kids up.

Shows promise, key bug. This is a great app, however it has an annoying bug. Conversion rate from Stars to Dollars DOES NOT WORK for chores. I want my kids to be awarded stars, with the conversion rate showing in their bank accounts. Currently this only shows $1 per star, no matter what you put in as the conversion rate. The only way this could work for me at this stage is to start charging them board!!!

Easy to use and effective. Been using 12 months now. Works well with pocket money automatically going into multiple accounts ie savings , spendings etc. I then enter transactions when children want to spend the money as I give it to them. Drop box sync works well and support has been quick and helpful when I forgot how to do something. I rarely pay for apps but this has been worth it .

Great app!. It's a great motivator for the kids to track their chores, and we can easily set and track the reward amounts.

Love this app!. I have 5 kids and this is a great app. They can go in a check off what they have done every day and I can approve it after the fact. I love that I can convert tasks to monetary values. They are motivated enough to feed the dog almost every day ;) All in all an awesome app!

Great Tool!. We use this app with the kids. It's fantastic and motivating for them. Only recommendation for developer would be to have one common list of editable chores and rewards that can be added quickly and easily for all children - the way it's set up currently is a bit cumbersome. The boys love being able to see what's in their banks - we also use real funds in conjunction with the electronic version as a tool to teach them how to reconcile their piggy banks!

Fun & Easy. I love this app! So easy to use & handy whenever we're out and my kids ask for something. I just check the accounts right there and they know how much money they can spend.

Love it when it works. I thought it was a great way to end the allowance debate with my kids. We'll worth the money. I have this on an iPad and iPhone. Unfortunately I have had some some instances where entered transactions disappeared. There is a restore from backup function but I'm not sure if everything is there. I'm using this to keep track of my kid's money. It has to work flawlessly but doesn't. I think I will just keep it on my phone and end the syncing issues.

Syncing issues, but otherwise a great app. I am noticing a long lag to sync changes, which has causes me a few setup issues across devices. Otherwise this looks like a great app for motivating the kids to help out around the house! Kids are excited to earn stars and to keep better track of allowance.

Awesome tool!. Finally I am able to keep track of my kids allowance. This app is easy to use and very handy. If the kids spend $ I keep track on the app, if they save a lot of $ I transfer it to their bank. I love it!

Awesome!. Oh my gosh I'm ten years old and I love this app so so much I get the right amount of money and I don't lose track!

Not working. Trying to start up the app for the first time, go to sign in but nothing pops up once you click on the sign in button. No error message but no logging either.

Like the idea but lost info. I like the idea of this app, but after download I went through and tried to set it up over and over but the info I entered would disappear. Finally get the info entered and I closed the app, I later opened it and everything was gone. So annoying. App deleted!

Great app and great support!. I downloaded the free version to test, but decided the best value was in the full version. Posting my review for the full version here as well. The kids are quite excited to be using this app to track their chores for credit. The initial setup on the first device took a bit of time, but the setup wizard walks you through it. The dropbox sync is what makes this app so useful for me. I have it installed on 2 iPhones and 4 iPads. The sync is a bit slow the first time, but fast for updates. I ran into an issue I couldn't figure out from the help so emailed the support address. I was very happy to get a prompt reply to help me sort out my issue.

Please Update. Currently loving the app and so are the kids! I do wish there were more regular updates as this is a leading app on its field. If not copy cats will soon be on its heals.

I like it, but will my kids.. Setup went well, very flexible, it what I was looking for. We'll see how it works with me 10 and 12 year old. I think it be good to have a children version so they can check off chores on their itouches as they complete them and they can see the rewards.

Great app!!. Have bought this to help me transition my 8 and 7 yr olds from piggy bank to a more realistic money management training!! Great app!! Lots of options! Kids are loving it! Developer was extremely helpful and very responsive in as seeing our questions. Downloaded it on 4 devices and synching is easy! Looking forward to keep using it!

Lots of features!. Wow! loaded with features and very customizable. I love the layout and looks of it as well. Thorough instructions with videos which definitely should be seen. Otherwise you will miss some of the great options. Developer is very responsive. Nice job!

Better but still Complicated ,sync issues. Update following app update: The ability to hide children per device is a nice feature. Syncing multiple devices with multiple children is still problematic Setup is still ridiculously and unnecessarily complex Have used this app for a couple years now. It has always been overly complex and lacking an intuitive and refined interface but we have worked with it. Now trying to use it on several devices it has become painfully obvious that the app is simply broken. It appeared to sync via Dropbox for a while but turns out it is inconsistent in the end making it unusable.

App makes life a lot simpler!. Bought the app yesterday. Had trouble setting up kids chores ect. When I contacted support they responded almost immediately. After several emails back and forth we got it all worked out. He was very patient and very helpful! What I love about the app. Is that I can set up lots of different chores and specify how much goes into which bank. We have spending saving and debt pay offs. As well as stars for practicing piano ect. Much better than having to pay out money and figuring out where it needs to go each week!

Helpful. Very helpful app to teach some responsibility, financial planning and goal setting. Definitely helped to have her motivated to do chores.

Love love love it!. Pretty incredible and powerfull APP that will change your kids attitude, habits over night!!!! Little negative is the synch between different Apple devices is not always easy or automatic as the sung setup creates an error and the synching will stop ;(

Nicely done!. Awesome app, well thought of, easy and fun to use. Flexible and simple.

Setup is a little tricky. This app is great as an allowance tracker and chore chart. The format is very easy for the kids to navigate, and is very motivating for them. Being able to see their siblings' totals also breeds a little healthy competition. My only complaint is that the set-up was very time consuming and the interface with Dropbox took a bit to figure out. Once it's set up, though, it works great. We currently have it on 5 devices.

Finally the App that fits our need. Awesome work on iAllowance it helps alot with my son who is ADHD it is straight forward for him. Using only stars it allows us to add or remove stars Sent suggestions and Jim answered within 24hrs...WOW Thank you Jim!!!

I Allowance. My kids live the electronic version of a chore chart. I have tried all sort of manual wall charts and never had the success I have with iAllowance.

IAllowance. This would be a 5star rating if it would update properly. The app never updates to the cloud so when my kids do their chores I have to manually change them on all our devices.this is not a cheap app. to pay for 4 copies of it and it not to work properly is disappointing.

We like it!. The chores List has been expanded and grouped to include school related and self-care so that the one list isn't so long. That and transferring stars into money or screen time has been great for my nine and 11-year-olds. We don't do an allowance, but it has been great for the boys to see that they are earning the privileges. Four weeks into the new school year, It's almost tangible, with great results, instead of the subjective yes/no from one parent or the other. Biggest challenge is the same as ever, consistency. This app helps us.

Great concept! Some functionality issues.. The overarching idea is brilliant and it's been working for our family. The kids use iPads connected to my iTunes account so set up between the three of us was easy. I appreciate the parental controls that allow us to approve checkmarks as well as the ability for a child's device to only show her own chart so they aren't snooping on a sibling's progress without her knowing. The deduction feature for bad behavior has been tremendous at improving attitude, tone, and treatment between siblings. However... Disappointments: 1) Had to purchase $3.99 upgrade on both parent phones due to differing iTunes account for dad. Annoying. 2) Due to #1, had to delete iCloud sync settings and set up again to sync to Dropbox. 3) Due to #3, had to set up a separate Dropbox account specifically for this purpose. Were I not tech savvy I'd be frustrated and would have given up. Otherwise, lots of good stuff here.

Stop searching now! This is the app you want!. I spent a month looking for an app exactly like this. (I think I even bought 3 others.) I love how you can set it up for more than one kid. I love that you can assign different amounts of money for different chores, and set the frequency in which it needs to be complete. I love that you can track for other types of rewards (my daughter hates reading, so I can keep track of days she reads - 10 stars equals ice cream). I love that you can set "A weeks" and "B weeks" for rotating chore schedules. I could go on and on. I just love this app!

Good for our needs. So far this app has worked well for our needs. We have a teenager and setting up all the chores with the option of awarding stars or money is great. There are a few things I would like to see added that would make it nearly perfect: 1. Optional themes. While I think the theme that comes with it is very cute and accessible, it is a bit juvenile for my teenager's tastes. Would be nice to have a theme that was a bit more grown up. Honestly this could be used for spouses too. ;) 2. Long term "chores" mainly to promote good grades. A chore can only be assigned in the terms of weeks so it isn't really suitable for setting up goals like good grades. Maybe there is a way to use Rewards for this but they seem to pay out immediately... Maybe I am missing something, or maybe there could be a new feature set for grades specifically. 3. For the chores that you can set up as "punishments" where it deducts from their bank, the icon in the list is still the gold coin. It should be something else so it is easy to visually distinguish those from the good things. Other than those things this is solid and well done app that is pretty flexible and well thought out. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to set up an easy way to keep track of their kid's chores and allowances.

Decent app for $$$. We purchased this app to help us keep track of our daughters allowance she receives for doing daily chores, while also giving her confidence and more skill when it comes to handling money. She just turned 4, so she doesn't make much...but we downloaded a chore chart app that she follows by clicking her completed task...or she can scan a barcode with her iPad and it'll track her chore progress...at the end of the day we take all the info from that app and plug it in to this one and she is virtually learning how banking works...which to us is awesome..she can see how much money she has..how much she needs to reach something she wants...and then if she'd like can withdraw that amount from her account and we will go get what she's asked for..her dad and I love that she's learning the value of money...how to manage it...making her own choices on if what she wants is really worth the money she'll be spending...etc. We also, once she gets a little older a understands money just a little more will have her use the app to divide her allowance in to what she is allowed to use and what we want her to put away for savings...it's never to early to get kids understanding money..and we hope to raise one who doesn't find herself drowning in debt by the age of 25.

Nailed It!!. I don't normally write reviews but this app truly deserves attention. I have a 10 and 7 year old and both love our iPads. So having this app to check off chores and keep tracks of their funds is perfect. We make them do at least one chore per day in order to even use the iPads In the first place because money isn't their motivator (yet). I use apps to their fullest and this one ranks up their in my top ten for productivity. I would like to be able to use the rewards in a way that gives them a treat if they do so many chores in a week. I'm sure ill figure out a way to a accomplish that soon. (Baby steps). There are many facets to the program that allow for flexibility. The chalk board design is really brilliant and unique - love it! I checked out many other similar apps and none came close to this one.

Great app for responsible kids with irresponsible parents. I have used so many refrigerator chore charts in the past and the problem was my kids would do all (well, most) of their chores and I would loose track of and forget to pay them their rewards. My kids got ipod touches for Xmas so we decided to try it. This app definitely takes some set up time, but that is a given if you want to customize it. After that the kids can do all the work and I can use my iPad to check up on them and make sure they are honest with it. My son has ADD and this really helps him to stay organized in the morning. I like that you can assign stars or money to each item because I want to pay my kids for taking the trash out but I don't think I should have to pay them to brush their teeth. They can redeem their own stars to do things like play a video game. There are a few glitches and sometimes it shuts down in the middle of working on it, but at least it saves it. If you buy it, buy the full package. The sync option is a must so you don't loose your set up work.

Glitch. I'm giving this program 5 stars because it is awesome and I want folks to get it so it continues to be around. However, I do want to bring a glitch to the developers attention. My kids have figured out that they can "deposit" instead of "withdraw" when it comes to rewards. The "deposit" needs to be turned off unless the parent is logged in. My son ended up with a ridiculous amount of stars that would have been impossible for him to earn and then I had to guess how many he had really earned when I reduced them. Please fix.

My favorite app to brag about. I tell everyone with kids that I know about this app. I found it after my son's 5th birthday when he lost $40 of his birthday money. "No more cash in your rooms!!" But then how do we keep track of how much money the kids have? This app is awesome! Anytime they get or earn money, it gets entered right away. Any time they spend it, it gets taken out right away. No more "you could have gotten that if you brought your money." Or "ok I'll get it, but you have to pay me back when you get home..." (Which never happens!) plus it keeps track of chores and accounts for non money perks!! We live this app. Thank you 100 times!! You guys rock!!!

Worth It!. I use this app combined with another that gives daily chores over the corse of a yr. As a single parent this app became such a blessing....not only was my daughter motivated to help around house now but she has def. learned that work equals pay and no work equals no pay. She def. does not like no pay Fridays. I use the reward section for special earnings areas where she can earn more money than normal chores such as extra homework, helping her baby sister get ready, even with coupon sorting which has the biggest pay out for her....she gets out the timer on that one! Though it has frozen sometimes.....rarely....I have no complaints!

Awesome app, awesome support. I have been using this app for several years now (one device only). I have loved it since day 1. For a few bucks it has made my life easier for years. I even added my sister as a child to keep track of money because we always owe each other $ and tend to lose track of how much. In this last upgrade, I couldn't see any of my old entries. I knew they were there as the scroll bar was there along with the totals. I sent an email to support and got an immediate response. When I opened up the app the next time, it had resolved itself already. I think it just needed an OS restart. So no support necessary but i was impressed with how quickly he responded and was ready with questions to troubleshoot!

iAllowance is Awesome!. Our whole family loves iAllowance. We tried a bunch of different ways to keep track of allowance and spending, but ended up with arguments and lots of extra junk. Now there's no question how much they've earned or what they can buy. The kids seem to understand more how much things cost and are learning about compound interest. We also don't have to worry about where all their cash went or why they lost it again. The app is so flexible I was able to add different amounts of interest for different accounts. The kids have started putting their money in savings b/c they noticed how the interest $ earned keeps increasing. I am able to disperse money to multiple accounts when they use the chore chart. That means a portion can go directly into savings, spending, tithe or whatever with only one touch of the device. Awesome. I love efficiency. I highly recommend purchasing the full version or the full upgrade on the light version. Completely worth it. One other note. I had an issue with the app only once having used it for about a year with 6 accounts active with all kinds of features. When I emailed Jim, the developer of iAllowance, he responded personally within hours, offering a quick solution to the problem. You will be hard-pressed to find and app of such high quality and flexibility that also comes with the personal assistance of the developer himself.

Behavior-changing app! And great app support!. Have used app for 2 months with our 4-yr-old and it's helped change his behavior with regard to delayed gratification (upgraded to full version after 2 wks). We use app regularly and now when he sees a toy he wants in a store, we show him how much $ he's saved/earned on the app and tell him he can buy that now or keep saving towards his goal reward. Invariably, he puts the impulse buy down and says he wants to earn his goal more. App support is fantastic! Developer gave personal support via email when we had a software syncing glitch and fixed our issue. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this app for any parent wanting to model patience, goal setting, and good buying habits in their kids!

Brilliant app, well worth the money. I bought this app as a means to document and track the chores and rewards for my two kids. This app has absolutely every feature I can think of and seems to be vastly customizable. This is also slightly overwhelming at first so I STRONGLY suggest you watch the tutorials all the way through before starting. If you're like me, however, and just assume you'll figure it all out, prepare to be wrong, but when you are, just send an email to the support email and you will get an extremely prompt, thorough response. I love this app and I am excited about the possibilities!

Very nice!. I just started using this for tracking my kids allowance and Stars! The kids are very excited to use this, they now have a way to track what they are doing. I am also using it as a piggy bank for their money with interest. This way when we are out, I can give them money and deduct it right there with my iPhone - normally I just say pay me when I get home, then I forget. All our devices are synced through Dropbox, which works to keep everything in sync. I really like the presentation and ease of use. I asked question of the development team and they responded promptly with an email. Kudos!

Great. Very happy with this app. Always disappointed with apps that use in app purchases but this one gives you a deal to open all the extras but the app is pretty much useless without any in app purchase. Limited kids, limited chores, limited banks without extra $. That being said I did purchase all the extras and once you have your kids, banks, rewards, and chores set up (time intensive regardless of app) this app works great for tracking my child's rewards. The Dropbox sync allows my wife and I to check on our child's account balance any time without having to manually enter data on multiple devices. Cuts those pleading episodes in the check out lines to seconds when my child knows I can just look up her chore history etc.

Great teaching tool. My 7 yr old son and I love this app. We discussed possible rewards and deductions for chores/behavior. Now he can see the money in the bank and watch the balance change with each transaction. He's learning how to save and spend and can see his work paying off with stars and other incentives. We just started the app this week and he's already cashing in rewards and transferring money to other accounts to maximize saving and spending. ( with my approval of course :)). Recommend to any parent. I'm even planning to use it for myself to reward healthy eating habits and weightloss.

Great Motivator, Great Features. I've tried many systems to track my kid's chores and responsibilities, thus far none of them digital, but I had a good idea what features would be helpful in an app. Looking around at what else was out there, iAllowance seemed like my best bet. As I started using it, I found my way around pretty quickly and set up all my kid's chore charts. I was going to wait until our family night to show it to them, but I just couldn't wait. I called them all over and before the day was over, they were already vying for opportunities to earn stars. I love that they can earn stars, time, or money, and work towards individualized rewards. I like the way the charts look, and how easy they are to manage. I had one little suggestion for functionality which I sent to the developer, and heard back within an hour with a very positive response. I'm definitely upgrading to the full version and sticking around for future updates. I know they're going to be good.

WARNING!. First, I love this app (customizable, easy to use) BUT one of the main reasons I chose it over some others (like PiggyBot) was that it allows sharing data so my husband and I could both use it. BE WARNED that if you want to be able to share data, you MUST buy the full version through the App Store, NOT the in-app purchase, otherwise you'll have to buy the whole thing again. I took off one star because this is NOT mentioned on the upgrade options page at all. I took off another for poor customer service. When I emailed about the data sharing and they explained, I replied asking if they could issue a refund or credit so I could delete the app and buy it through iTunes. A full week later I have received no reply at all. We'll probably break down and buy the app a second time from my husband's phone, but it ticks me off to do so.

Superb!. I absolutely love this app! We've gone through so many chore-charts in our house and have never found one that did all that we wanted it to do, until iAllowance came along! I'm able to keep track of 3 kids' chores, their allowance, any extra money they receive, and add/delete/switch any chores within the program! And when I had an issue that needed help (this past weekend), I simply emailed the support team and recieved a reply within hours. THAT is great service for a product that fits our needs. JumpGapSoftware is great!

Great application, easy to use, kids can understand it!. I love this application! My kids are working toward real goals and learning what it takes to earn something rather than just waiting for a birthday or special holiday! The application is truly complex in the programming, but the user interface is very simple and easy to understand. I can imagine a few great enhancements for this application, such as a scheduled email so the kids get a regular report of their progress. I can't wait to see what the author does next!

Well thought out application!. Upgraded from Smart Piggy Bank (which is a basic "hobby" site) and have found iAllowance to be a beautifully well thought out feature rich alternative for managing our three kid's (7, 9 and 12) allowances and savings accounts ... a real "learning experience" for them to track their iTunes purchases! On the technical level, the drop-box integration is really useful to allow the older kids to track their allowances from their (re-cycled) old iPhones ... good idea to maintain support on older versions of iOS for this reason. The parental controls are a boon since it allows me to keep the numbers straight while allowing them to see where they stand!

Really good, could be great with some improvements. This is a really good app for managing allowance and has taken the pain out of trying to keep track of whether my kids have done their chores. There two things that really bug me though - it's a little unresponsive (can take several seconds for the app to react to checking a box, depending on the device). My kids sometimes check things over and over because they think they didn't hit it, but the app is just slow to react. The second thing is that the dropbox syncing isn't always reliable across multiple devices (it works most of the time) - really need to build in iCloud sync and make it real time. Finally, it would be nice to have a condition that says either you do ALL of these things in a certain span of time or you don't earn anything. The app is structured to reward individual tasks, regardless of when they get done. You can set targets to actually earn a reward, but there is still no time constraint. Regardless, the app is so helpful that it is worth adjusting how you manage allowance and following the app's structure. Overall, really good app - I recommend! I hope you keep improving it.

Love it!. This app has helped to get my children to willingly help with things around the house as well as become more independent. My seven year old loves to get her stars and when she gets close to an award she starts doing more things to earn stars faster. It has made such a change in her. She is getting herself ready for school without prompting so she can earn as many stars as possible. I like that I can add pictures to the chores and awards. It helps my 5 year old so he knows what his chores are and what he can get for doing them. He likes feeding the dog now because he can check off the star next to the dog's picture. I would highly recommend this app. I am also pleased with how quickly questions are answered by the developer. Definitely 5 stars.

App Excellence. Best chore app ever!! I have four kids who all have rotating chores and this app organizes them all. All in school and after school activities with two working parents BUT no excuse to not have a clean house. Lifesaver! It took a little while to setup each child and the schedules but after the initial work is done, the app keeps track of everything automatically. It is super user-friendly and all my children have the app downloaded on their devices and have up-to-date access to which chores they have to complete for the day wherever they are and I can check their progress and allowance from work, the mall, court side or my bed. So convenient! Completely well thought out! Totally worth it!

Great App!!. This app is fabulous!! I've tried chore charts and rewards earning systems before without much luck - it was difficult for my daughter to stay motivated when she couldn't see her progress. The chores are being done, she is earning for each chore (even the multiple occurrence types), and she enjoys seeing what mom owes her!! I would recommend the upgrade immediately! The free version is very limited and quickly became obsolete - I only have one child but she has more than a few chores. I like the fact that my daughter can track her own chores and all I have to do is okay them. The app definitely takes a long time to set up but don't let that discourage you regarding the purchase - it's worth it!! I goofed up a setting and had all the chores disappear!! After all that hard work I was a little irritated! I e-mailed the developer and within less than two hours he had responded with the fix. I totally goofed it up - this was not an app issue. It was an issue with me not wanting to watch the set-up video - I already knew it was going to take a long time to set up and did not have the patience to watch a lengthy video. The app is easy enough to figure out and with such great support, this app is a MUST!!!

Just what I was looking for. I've used other apps and software to try to manage my kid's chores over the years and I'm glad I found this one. It solved every problem I had with others and opened up so many other possibilities I had never thought of. This is by far the best app I've seen. I really like how I can create different banks and when they complete a chore it automatically splits the earned money into those banks on the percentages I tell it to. Ingenious! It helps them put away money for savings or other goals they have. I also love how it syncs between our devices so I can see exactly what my kids accomplished on my wife's phone or iPad while I'm half a world away on a business trip. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Excellent. You have to take the time to prepare the chores and the allowance but once you do it is great, the kids love it they are the ones entering their time and thinking up new chores for them to earn more money( I pay them 5 dollars a week but distribute it out amongst the chores, plus they can earn extra for big chores and if the chores are not done they don't get payed per chore per day, so they can actually see were their money went plus it has a away to deduct for negative behavior) or also earn video game time! The house finally looks in order and the kids are enjoying every minute of it...3 boys and 3 dogs are all in order thanks to this great app!

Fantastic App. I downloaded the LT version and then upgraded using in-app purchases. Our sons never wanted to do their chores or they just couldn't remember to do them. We downloaded iAllowance and set down with them and laid out the rules with them so everyone was in agreement with how we set up their chores. Since then, both of them have been on top of their chores. We use both options for paying out on chores, some of their chores have to be done everyday of the week before we pay them while others (mowing the yard) payout each time it is done. We also took advantage of the other types of banks that are offered. We give the boys a stars each time they do their homework or practice their instrument and school work like that. Then when they have enough they can transfer the stars into a time bank. We used a ratio of 15 stars equals 1 hour. Once they have at least an hour in their bank they can cash in a reward and play XBox for 1 hour during the school week which is otherwise not allowed. This created an incentive to come home and get their school work done without using punishment or the opposite (money). Fantastic App.

No more DRAMA!. I did the in app upgrade and instead of nag nag nag I send my teens an email of what they HAVE done and their balance. Seeing everything broken down in $ vs lump sum at the end is motivating. They get paid when I get paid and only for things they do. I get texts saying "I did ... may I get bonus stars?" AWESOME SO FAR! Edit*** may be a fluke that I came to this but I put DRAMA under rewards. If we get through a night without any I give a star if not I deduct one. Started with a balance of 100 with cash in value of $.25 each to be used towards "I wants". Blessed are stars!

Excellent app with excellent customer service. I started using this app for my seven and nine-year-old girls. They love watching their progress and counting their stars at the end of each day. The ability to split their funds into savings, spending and tithing works really well for us. I also like how you can customize your own chores and rewards. I ran into some trouble getting the app fully loaded on my husbands phone. I sent an email to customer service on a Sunday night and got a very fast response. I was definitely impressed with the service quality. I highly recommend this app!

Wanted to Like It. I purchased the full upgrade on my iPhone 5s, b/c after setting up the allowance system I felt it would be perfect. HOWEVER, the sync option is not functional. I synced it to my Dropbox account and then downloaded the app on my iPhone 4 my daughter uses as an iPod, so she could view her banks and earning options anytime. Here are the problems I discovered: 1. The "Sync" tutorial merely tells you how to sync it to Dropbox and not how to actually retrieve that data on another device. While I figured it out myself, anytime I did ANYTHING in the app after syncing it to Dropbox I received an error stating it could not communicate with Dropbox and to check my Internet connection. Well, uh, both iPhones were on my WiFi. 2. The parental controls are confusing, as in the viewing mode it still allows for checking items off and in my daghter's iPhone it allowed me to retrieve a reward that went against her balance (left a negative balance actually) and then the Dropbox errors started. Has potential, but should have true OTA syncing ability without the need for Dropbox and a simple parental control function that says, "view only mode" for each device. Given it does not, this app is cumbersome and not functional for the behavioral plan I created.

Great Features, Poor Performance. My kids and I really want to like this app but the synch is horrible. My son checks off his chores on a daily basis. I go in at the end of the week and none of his chores are checked off on my end. If I approve checked off chores, then they sometimes show up checked off on his. Kids losing faith which is a shame as it offers all the features we've been looking for. Also annoying is that two people cannot make changes at the same time on two different systems. Have to make changes on one, then get out of the app, wait a few minutes, and then maybe the changes show up on the other device. Wish it had icloud synch vs dropbox. There's a few other bugs but poor synch is the deal breaker. Improve the synch capability and this would be 5 stars - easily.

Love it!. Best application for kids. Not only good to manage their finances but their behavior as well. It's a very smart reward system/finance management app. Thank you very much. It's helping me very much with my unruly 7 yr old who is now helping around the house like never before to earn stars and get rewards with his earned stars. He is also more aware of his money and cautious about how he spends it since he now has goals to look forward to a clear picture of it all. Love it love it love it!!! :D

Great app. It's is just what I was looking for touse with my two girls, 6 and 4. They love the check boxes and that they can watch the stars add up. I was doing something similar to this only on paper and this takes all the work out of it. I'm even thinking of using it for motivation to save up for something for myself! That way the girls will see that I value saving too! Thanks for this great program. Oh, and I did have a question about. The rewards bars and I got a very timely and useful response. Again, I'm very pleased with this app.

More of a suggestion than review. Just starting to use this. I think it would be much easier if you could set up a list of common chores, then when setting up your child's week just check mark the chores he/she must complete for each day. I have two children who rotate chores so this would be easier for me to switch between rather than setting up each chore new on each child and each week. Also, I don't know if it does this already as I haven't spent a lot of time, but it would be nice to be able to sync with mg child's iPod/iPhone so they can access their daily chores on their device, check them off as they get completed, and update my account. Maybe send a notification as they complete a chore? I think this app has a lot of potential, but not there quote yet.

LT version too hamstringed to test. I downlowded the free version so that I could see if the paid version would work out for our family. You're only allowed one child with two chores and no syncing to test it out. Why not give a full version that locks out in a week? I have no idea if this would be helpful for my family after trying the LT version. It seems worse than my current system of just keeping a list and running tally in AwesomeNote right now since at least there they can have more than two chores. Disappointing. I was hoping this could help the kids take more responsibility for keeping track of their to dos with less nagging from me, but I guess without splurging for the full version, I'll never know.

The very best responsibilty building app that I've seen!!!. Buy it, buy it now! Save the peace in your home and teach your children to be responsible, too. I am not only a parent of a tween, but an professional educator. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this app! More importantly, so does my hard to motivate daughter! She enjoys seeing what is available to her as choices and selecting what she wants to do. Sometimes she chooses according to the time needed to complete the task, other times it's the potential earning and yet other times it's what would give her the most satisfaction. This lines up well with our parenting approach of giving her choices, logic and love. We have only encountered one issue and we asked for help using the easy help button. I got an answer immediately! I mean within minutes and it was the developer himself! Amazing! Of course he knew just how to fix the challenge quickly and was very courteous, too. This app is a real bargain and I would encourage anyone to go with the full package! It has helped our daughter to be more responsible and our household is more pleasant, too. Thank you for such a fabulous app!!!!!

Wonderful App. We love this app. We always know how much spending money our child has. Because allowance can be deposited automatically, we don't have to worry about "missed" payments. The app helps our son plan for purchases - he can check to see his balance grow (or how much more he needs to earn to purchase a desired toy). It alleviates arguments and compensates for our poor memory skills (even parents can't remember everything!). We have set up "bonus" banks - our son earns "cool points" (stars) for spontaneous acts of helpfulness (or especially great behavior). The app allows you to convert these stars into money or time units. You can decide how much a "star" is worth. So your child could earn computer time, game time, etc. The chore chart allows another way for your child to earn items. You decide what each chore is worth The child can check off his chores but money/items aren't added until you "confirm" by checking each item. The app allows you to transfer money/units between accounts (i.e. moving money from savings to spending). When our son has earned a number of "cool points" we can transfer them to his spending. The app will convert the stars to money if you like with just a click of an icon. I am excited to hear the app can be connected to an actual account with a debit card. When our son gets older-this may be a great way to teach him how to manage money!

Remarkable. Exactly what parents need to keep track of the progress their kids make. This app will grow as your child does and can be used for all different areas of responsibility, paid and unpaid. This is the most thorough app I've come across and plan to use it for a long time. Well worth the money for years of usage. Also, I've had several questions which were answered on the help center but did have to email the developer. He responded within an hour. This blew me away. App user. iAllowance is an excellent piece of software, and fit the bill I was looking to fill to a "T"! It allows me to track chores for both of my boys, and we use a "Star Bank" to award them credit for the chores they accomplish. Each week they can convert stars into their weekly allowance, and if they earn additional star credit they can use it toward additional rewards (pocket money, ice cream, movies, family outings and more). iAllowance is flexible enough to allow me to tailor chores, allowances and awards to the individual needs of my two children. They can each access their own accounts from their personal iPod and check and update their own chores, see bank balances and track their own progress towards rewards. Thank you for iAllowance, this is helping our family tremendously.

This app does it all. After failing so many times to implement a reward system with my children I finally decided to see if there was an app out there to help and I found iallowance. I love how it can track multiple reward types (money stars time) so whatever my kids are motivated for at the time I can give them that. I can pass out rewards or "punishments" ( losing stars) no matter where we are. It's so easy for the kids to see their progress towards rewards with the colored status bars. For any money they earn I can automatically divide it to spend save give banks. This app is the best representation of real life financial management for kids and it makes teaching good financial principles so easy my 6 and 7 year olds understand. It's the best I just love it so much!

Great for my 5 year old.. My son is the kind of kid who needs to be working toward a goal at all times. This app. Is perfect. His participation in tapping the screen for rewards is something he looks forward to every night. I used to have a hand-made chart and it was such a pain running out of stickers,etc... This solved the problem. Another plus is the Rewards page's visual measurement of his progress toward a set goal. At 5, he doesn't yet fully grasp amounts of money, but the visual colored line on the Rewards page is perfect. He loves seeing & understanding his progress. Great app.!

Helpful customer support. I had a bit of difficulty setting things up. I emailed the customer support on a weekend. My question was answered quickly and thoroughly via email. The developer was also very personable with his email. So far, I have had a good experience. My daughters are very motivated to work because of this app. When my son sees the payout....no doubt he will jump on board. I recommend this app to any adult who needs to keep their child accountable to their chores/ goals...and to any child who needs to keep their adult accountable and cognizant of their successes.

Great app for motivating children & teaching financial responsibility. We homeschool and this is just what we needed to track our kids rewards & consequences. We are using this app to track screen time, allowance and behavior. It is very versatile and I have been able to customize it to meet my needs. Love it keeps track of everything for you. Great time saver! Can also teach financial responsibility like saving and tithing. I had some questions and the developer got back to me quickly and I was able to help me with my issue.

Good Idea, But Need Improvement. I downloaded this because of Money Mag's recommendation. I think that it is a great idea but takes too much effort to get started. After I spent an hour getting it going, I synced it to DropBox and the linked it to my wife's phone. It transferred fine but I kept getting asked if I wanted to load a sample account to see its capabilities and I accidentally hit load data once. Because auto sync is turned on, it backed up the sample account and I lost an hours worth of work. Recommendation: get rid of the tutorial/sample account pop-up and make us look for it if we want to see it. Also, create a web site that you can do the initial setup on the desktop computer, they are still easier for big tasks than an iPad.

2 happy kids (5&3). My boys are three years old and five years old, and they absolutely love this app. It helped my oldest son to quickly learn how to count money, and he is having a lot of fun saving and keeping track of how much he has earned. Today when I upgraded to the full version I needed some support for the first time (user error, my fault) and upon emailing for help I received an almost instant response. The support for this product matched the quality of the features, and I'm happy to recommend it.

Great Tool for Teaching Kids 😄. I got this app to keep track of my kids chores and allowances. Previously we were using a calendar with stickers, which was fine for a while. But I saw this app and tried the LT version. I liked it so much, I had to have the full version! My kids love it to! They get so excited when they can check off their chores and earn their allowance (stars for my little one). It's great that they can learn about earning money, doing chores, and having fun all at the same time. And it can be used for so many things. A must have for anyone with kids. I just wish I had this while potty training them.

So far great! Love customization and sync capability. I have played around with a few versions of apps like this and so far this one has the most customizable features. The syncing through Dropbox is nice as it avoids the iCloud sync. One of our kids has their own iCloud account so that would be a huge problem. I'm not sure why it needs access to "all of my Dropbox information". It is a little worrisome putting that information on my kids iPods/phones. I love that each chore is customizable for each kid, and each reward etc. I have yet to run into anything that is a negative (except my concern about full access to dropbox). I haven't quite figured out how to suspend the allowance yet but that is next on my list. There are times when we take trips and so forth where the allowance is suspended because, hey we just went to the beach and paid how much to get your hair braided? Or the infamous "you just lost your allowance". Great product!

Sync Unreliable Therefore Useless. I am very disappointed in this app as it has potential. However, after hours of troubleshooting with the developer (he is very responsive and willing to help) the app is still not functioning as advertised. Having purchased the full version for the sole purpose of syncing between devices, I've wasted my money. The app is also tedious to set up having taken a very long time to set up. I would have been ok with this had the app performed as expected. Unfortunately it did not and after many emails back and forth with the developer and many instructions followed in an attempt to fix the issues, I have to cut my losses and move on to another app. If you plan to use this app on one device, I would recommend it. If your goal is to sync more than one device, try something else.
