Mobile wallet doesn't work. If the developers are reading this, the mobile wallet doesn't work. First, it wouldn't sign me in. Tried multiple tonnes. Hmmm. I worked around the mobile wallet sign in by going thru a dummy booking. Then went to mobile wallet and it gave me an error. Went back to my laptop to sign in and that's fine. I can see my tickets there. Hmmm. App is useless to me unless I can access my tickets like Ticketmaster app. Please fix the mobile wallet and I'll download it again, but until then I'd give this 0 stars if I could.
One star is well earned.. Dont waste your time on this useless enterprise.
No support. Trying to buy tickets and my card is blocked. Called my bank and they said there was no problems. App and website are faulty.
Terrible Experience. My personal experience is not exactly with the app but the company in general, I joined the queue three hours early and sat there for four hours while being told it should just be one moment for your tickets. I never even got a chance to buy any tickets. If I could rate 0 stars I would, simply a waste of time.

Taylor Swift eras tour.. I was on from 9:40am-2:00pm on Wednesday, I got in twice. The first time I was putting my account through (mind you I had made my acc the week before and checked all my acc details the night before) and I told me my email and password were incorrect so I timed out and lost my tickets. The second time it was too late and all the tickets were sold out for four people. Today (Friday) I was on from 9:40am-6:30pm and I did not get in once, not once! My friends cousin got in four times in the time span OF AN HOUR and for the 9+ hours that I was in the “queue” did I make it in once. Why there isn’t an actual queue is baffling! It ruins everything for the people who have been waiting hours just to get ONE ticket. I know you’s have said that I doesn’t matter what time you get I but this was really really unfair for people (like myself) waiting hours. Also why is there a timer? If it wasn’t for the timer I would have been able to use my dads account and easily get my tickets, timing people out because they couldn’t complete a whole transaction in 8 minutes is another thing that blows my mind! Do better Ticketek.
Terrible app, forces unnecessary updates. I hate an app that requires you to use it to access your own tickets (eg when shared from someone else). I especially hate apps that require you to update even if you don’t want/need to in order to access your own ticket, and just become unresponsive / crash if you refuse. And I definitely hate apps that require you to use the app to access your own ticket, but then opens pages in a web browser rather than the native app you’re forced to use (suspiciously requiring location services and permissions…) Just another reason to use tixel or alternante booking services rather than the monopolising ticket agencies like these…
Horrible app, please fix it!. Feel like this was designed by monkeys in a lab. None of the functions actually work and then there are timed pages throughout the app?? Why tf do I have a 6 minute clock to view my details?? Also couldn’t simply send tickets to each other.. you can tell they tried but the email function doesn’t actually link to the app itself. Get a team of UXers on this to sort it out because everything in here is BROOOKENNN.
Ed Sheeran Melbourne Concert. I was at ed sheeran in melbourne trying to get in but my tickets weren’t working, neither was everyone else’s around me. The app had crashed, and everyone got sent halfway around the stadium to get a printed ticket, all of a sudden there was thousands of people lining up to get printed tickets and about 5 registers to print at. I tried accessing my tickets online and through my emails but it just said to download the app. Its great and all to have an app, but why no backup options for accessing tickets? You cant rely on one app when there is an event going on at a stadium that seats over 100,000 people. Terrible planning and execution on Ticketeks part and I don’t think I will be purchasing tickets from them again.
Mobile Ticket Madness. This company has for some reason changed their system so that any mobile ticket purchase requires use of their terrible app to access tickets for a venue. This means should you need to send a ticket to any of your fellow event goers, they then need to download the app and make an account in order to access their ticket (clearly data harvesting). Previously you used to be able to just send the link to your friend and they could open it immediately on their phone and enter the event. And as if that isn’t enough, when you go to an event with a large number of people all trying to access the app at the same time in the same place, the app will continuously crash and fail to load your ticket due to overloaded reception. This whole process renders the app completely useless. When this happened to me I had to line up at the box office to request physical tickets to replace my mobile tickets that I was unable to access through the app due to its complete inability to function. Making any event going experience way more difficult and stressful than anyone should need it to be.
Can’t access tickets, defeats the purpose of a ticket app!. So full of bugs it makes it actually impossible to access your tickets, opening the link from the SMS opened the app which said it needed an update (it didn’t) and then wouldn’t show the ticket. Trying to view the order history it asked me to login again and then showed an error. Finally uninstalling the app meant that the SMS link opened in a browser instead and I could get the Apple Wallet link, sad state of affairs when the best way to get your tickets is to delete the app!
Can’t add tickets to Apple wallet. App and website are broken. The button to add tickets to my Apple wallet doesn’t work on the website or the stupid app. This forces us to share tickets via the app, but how can I share with my child’s friends if they don’t have the App? The confirmation email recommends adding to my wallet in case there is a network problem, but how can I do that if the function doesn’t work??? I had to print paper tickets like it’s 1995 again.
Olivia Rodrigo 8 June 2024. Ticket-tek was a life saver when trying to purchase Olivia Rodrigo tickets ! I got a few members to help in the queue and a family member succeeded to get 2 tickets ! I know there’s an unfair system of waiting hours and ( some times ) not succeeding and waiting minutes and ( sometimes ) getting the tickets , but if you really want the tickets . you should allocate the time to achieve the tickets and stay positive.
Bit dumb, heavy handed security. This app is trying to stop scalping but the security features are crippling for ordinary users. You cannot screenshot your tickets as a backup. If you buy multiple tix, then choose to share a ticket to the person you bought it for, it then disappears and you can’t see it anymore, not great if you’re buying for a child. And I dunno what happens if you accidentally type in an incorrect ph number when you share, I guess that ticket is gone forever?
AFL Finals ticketing. The App is an absolute waste of time, doesn’t progress the ‘queue’. When we selected “Public” to access our member ticket allocation the App didn’t allow us to enter our barcode number (simply stayed on the “Public” selection screen. What’s the point of an app that does not let you buy tickets. The App still doesn’t let you buy tickets, a day later. We then transferred to a laptop, accessing the website, which did work (although very slowly) but unfortunately we were ‘timed out’, frozen screen, payment didn’t work which threw us out. Poor customer service, no answer to our phone call. Absolute waste of time.
Taylor Swift Melbourne. For some reason even if there are tickets available to buy for the Eras tour if I click on them it will just say that it’s being transacted by another customer and, in some instances, has stayed like that for more than an hour. It doesn’t take that long to transact a ticket. I have written to Ticketek on the customer service page twice asking for help and even called them, but it just had a recorded voice telling me to submit an issue to the customer service page and check FAQ’s, both of which I have already done.
App won’t show ticket. My brother has tried to share my ticket for Foo Fighters twice - first via SMS and second via email. Neither are working. I downloaded the app, signed into my account, but the ticket isn’t there. I tried signing out, deleting the app and started again, but it still won’t work. I’ve checked that the app is up to date, and it is. It’s very weird considering my friend has accessed her ticket which was shared to her at the same time mine was shared with me.
Order history doesn’t work. Good luck trying to track down your order history in this app. It NEVER works and hasn’t for years. Not sure why this bug has never been fixed. Then there’s the times when your tickets just disappear off the app for no reason, and guess what? Yup, no order history. So you gotta go queue up at the box office and explain to the staff how you bought tickets and now they’re not in your phone.
No access to tickets, no help. It is less than 24 hours before The Kid Laroi concert and I still have no access to my tickets. Ticketek site says “download mobile app to access tickets” but can’t even access tickets on mobile app… There is no phone number for ticketek so I’m relying on communicating (barely) with them through Facebook messenger, ridiculous. Ticketek told me that it is the venues responsibility to send out ticket access, so I called the venue and they confirmed that is not the case and that they infact had a similar issue raised with them for the Travis Scott concert at their venue where people also could not access their tickets. How is ticketek still the biggest ticket provider at this point, absolutely useless. Will I get my tickets?
Disgusting. I can’t believe they give you the shortest amount of time to buy your tickets. When you are doing presages there’s going to be so many people on the app/website. This slows it down. I was doing everything I finally got through to get my tickets I picked the seating and went to checkout but the screen took so long to load because of how many people were on there that my time ran out and it kicked me out. Such a piece of garbage this app is. I hope you take this review in to account and change this disgusting app.
Time for a new ticket company to take over. This app is pathetic. It’s honestly the worst put-together app I’ve ever come across. You can’t do anything until you prove you’re not a robot, but the pictures look like they’re glitching, and there’s no right answer! ‘Select all pictures with motorcycles’, and all the pictures are of trees… or ‘type what you hear’ and the backend of the sentence isn’t in English. So you can’t even open the app essentially. Apps aren’t hard to make these days but no one seems to have told ticketek that.
Cannot log in to this app. The app does not recognise my password. When I try to reset the password it does not email me a link. Checked the spam folder as suggested online, but there is no reset password. I also tried setting up a new account using a different email address. Same issue. I tried multiple different devices: phone, iPad, laptop but nothing works. I’ve been trying all afternoon/ evening with no success and it is infuriating. If I could rate it as 0 stars I would.
Let me keep my digital tickets. It’d be great if past tickets weren’t deleted, but rather moved to a history folder. We used to be able to keep our ticket stubs, but with digital tickets there’s no current way of looking back at the gigs we’ve been to.
Hopeless. Can’t access tickets without an error. For weeks now I haven’t been able to see my tickets in the app. I get a vague ‘Something went wrong’ error every time. I’ve tried reaching out to customer service but they don’t listen - they just send me new links to the tickets on the website. But I can’t share from the website. I’ve deleted the app and restarted my phone, logged out and in again numerous times, but nothing helps. No idea where to go now!
Taylor Swift Sydney. I don’t know how the queue works but the fact that I can’t see what number I am on the queue absolutely frustrates me cuz guess what, I HAVE A LIFE, but instead I’m spending hours on end just starring at the loading lounge screen having to carry my laptop everywhere not knowing when I’ll be let in to purchase and with the fear of missing out if I take my eyes off the screen even for a minute. I already missed out during the presale after a 6 hour wait and when I was finally let through, almost all tickets were gone with only single seats left, and by the time I tried to grab even a single ticket, I was booted out. What’s the point of going to a concert if you can’t have a loved one next to you to share the experience. There’s so many wrong things with Ticketek’s purchasing process and I am helpless knowing that there’s no other way to purchase tickets for a show that I’ve been wanting to go to for so long. I don’t know if I’ll succeed in buying a ticket, but this process needs to improve.
Login doesn’t work. No matter what. I had to log in on the app to open a ticket I’d been sent. I couldn’t log into my account because of an incorrect password so I tried to reset it, there was no reset email after an hour. I tried to register with different email addresses but they were all registered somehow, which is definitely incorrect as I’ve never used them. I couldn’t get into the event and had to go to the ticket office
There are so many 1 star reviews because of the esra tour. It’s a good app it works and is useful to get tickets but there are so many 1 star reviews because of ta ta and no one cares so 5 stars to get the rating up and 4 stars because tickets are expensive ( I know it’s not the apps folt)
Don’t bother. App is already deleted after only 30 minutes of use. You have menu bars blocking options I need to tap on requiring the app to be restarted to access. I have to tap on seats on the interactive map about 50 times before it registers and have found no way to buy multiple tickets in one go. Which means if I’m buying 4 tickets I need to click on each individual seat 50 times 4 times in a row!!! No thank you.
The app is rubbish the support is worse. I can no longer access my mobile tickets, the app just spins its wheels. I had to raise a second case when the first case was responded to with useless irrelevant suggestions. The second case has not been responded to. The first case was eventually replied to stating they are aware there is and issue and asked me to create another account, so they could transfer the tickets to the second account. They asked for proof of purchase and loads of other info then after stating they were going to change the access email to the first account instead, they have gone quiet, it’s been nearly two weeks. As far as I can see the support crew are as useless as their app. If only there was an alternate for accessing sport tickets in this country.
Taylor Swift Eras Tour Melbourne. Horrible app. Even a piece of garbage is more useful than this. I tried 11 hours to secure Taylor Swift tickets and not ONCE was I let past the loading screen. I later found out that the system for who was let in was actually a lottery, meaning that people who got there 5 minutes later ha d the same chance as someone who had been waiting hours. It is such an unfair system and many other Swifties like me didn’t have a chance. In addition to that, Ticketek announced earlier that there would be a resale on 4th of September. Come that day, apparently the resale was ‘delayed’, meaning that all of us have to wait even longer. It’s now 20th of September and no new date has been announced. Ticketek has been completely silent and ignoring everyone’s requests. This just shows you how poor and ignorant this company is. The only reason I downloaded the darn app was because that was the only way to purchase tickets. Otherwise, I would have gladly taken my business someplace else. Do better ticketek.
Non functional. I bought tickets. I’m required to download the app to accept them (which is absurd by itself). The app will not let me log in nor create a new account. No support for troubleshooting due to wait times (likely from other people struggling my with the app. My partners is experiencing the same. I don’t write negative reviews, but this is the worst app I’ve ever dealt with. I feel for you if you’ve bought ticket and are now struggling to access them.
Preposterous Application. Useless. Need to make an account just to view a ticket? Can’t screenshot the ticket to send to a friend? Everyone needs to download, make an account, and accept the ticket share. What if they don’t have a modern mobile phone? What if they don’t want to give ticketek their contact information? Now I am forced to have 10 tickets on my phone and to pass the phone backwards at the stadium to slowly scan everyone in. Ridiculous. Blatantly anti-consumer, putting every obstacle they can into your path to make it difficult.
Ticket wallet & share is a complete shamozzle. Ticketek still can’t their you know what together and fix what should be a basic function. Used to work fine but remains in operational. Made the mistake of not selecting print at home during purchase of AFL Finals ticket. Now I need to go to the booth at the ground to get hard copy printed. At least the representatives at the ground are helpful but when asked if this is a common problem, which going by the feedback reviews on this platform I know very well it is, I’m just told “no not really”. Oh c’mon! Ticketek you are deplorable.
Disappointed. Paid extra for refundable tickets to find it there not refundable Ticketek needs to really take a good hard look at their morals when before selling tickets. I will no longer purchase tickets from this company. The lies dished out buy this company when trying to obtain a refund for my refundable tickets due to an unforeseen situation and being rejected says a lot about Ticketek. Buyer be aware I recommend searching for other companies that sell tickets.
Tickets. When we finally got into get the tickets for Taylor swift after waiting 3 hours and when we went in there was only f seating and we were going to get that but when we went 3 people it did not work so we went with one to try to make it work and it did not it said it had tickets when we went in but it did not allow us to buy them so we were allowed to get them and it did not work because it said they had tickets but repeatedly kept not telling us there was no tickets. Why did it let’s us in then if there was none?
Seating allocation. While I understand the need to stop people from leaving one seat between groups, but when you have 3 seats in a row because the whole row is booked but cannot book 2 is ridiculous because you’d leave ‘1’ space. This is TERRIBLE user experience. The app can easily be fixed to recognises the rest of the row is full and allowing to people to purchase them. This not only is a bad experience for the user but the performers! Having 3 spots vacant in a show looks bad for them and if I was a production company would not use TicketTek for that rule.
Issues with seat selection screen. I had to reopen the stadium seat selection screen several times on mobile before it worked properly. Most times it failed to load correctly and while I could zoom in it was clunky and wouldn’t select seats. It took about 10 tries but eventually worked. This app needs a lot of work.
Broken. I don’t know who is in charge of looking after this app but it is plain broken now. I purchase tickets for the football a few times every season. Used to have tickets interstate with Apple wallet and be able to share them. Now I get tickets delivered by text and it wants to open them in the app not in the web browser. No more integration with Apple wallet and the app itself doesn’t show tickets in an easy to access manner but send you to you order history to find them. I hate to think how people with a disability would be finding this new experience.
Does not work. This app will not let me log in even though I know my details are correct. Even when I try sign up with a new email that definitely hasn’t been used, it says there is already an account for it! Using the app is apparently the only way I can have a ticket transferred to me from someone else so now I’m just apparently completely unable to get the ticket I paid for!!!!??? Zero response from ticketek support. What a horrible app, service and overall idea! Why can’t I just use the website!!!
Doesnt allow ticket download. Can see record of my FooFighters tickets in app and on website but no ability to download or save them - even though have received an email saying they are now unlocked. Hopeless. And no way of contacting them by phone - only an email address and from other reviews here i am not expecting to get a reply. Am actually shocked that Ticketek has all these 1 star reviews for this and other issues going back over a year and hasnt fixed the issue.
Just over complicated. Trying to share tickets with family for a footy game. Find it ridiculous that you need to download an app to accept the tickets to begin with, but to make matters worse when trying to access their account my family members forgot their password, asked to reset password yet never got the actual email. This went on for 20 minutes on multiple devices. In the end we ended up keeping all the tickets on one device and handing our phone backwards as we passed through in line. Just an all round inconvenience. Ticketmaster is much better when they’re the same product. Not good enough
Convoluted and painful. Trying to receive tickets is far from a simple process. To access your procession (tickets) that you have paid for, you are forced to download this app and sign up, providing my personal details. The app is clunky, convoluted and difficult to use. I spent 15 minutes trying to access tickets I had purchased and couldn’t even take a screenshot for my partners ticket to save them the difficulty of undergoing the same process.
Just terrible. Terrible app from terrible company. I’d say you should avoid this app, and Ticketek generally, but what option do you have? They have imposed themselves in between the general public and items of value (seats/tickets to events) and provide zero value themselves… negative value, in fact. The ticket purchasing process regularly has problems. Thicketek (genuine typo but I thought worth keeping) offer no support or explanation every time something goes wrong, leaving consumers to spend hours online trying to access tickets, then only to be charged a booking fee for the privilege. “Unexpected errors” regularly occur when trying to access already purchased tickets on the app, again with no support. Regular complaints about their service and ticket allocation process provide no change at all. Thicketek do not care at all about customers, and if we had a choice we would avoid them with barely a second thought. But we have no choice and they have no care.
Refundable tickets are a SCAM!. We payed the extra fee for refundable tickets however Ticketek has refused to refund our tickets unless we have valid ‘proof’ (make sure you read your t’s and c’s before buying) of needing a refund, or unless the staff deem it to be necessary. This is false advertising of apparently ‘refundable’ tickets, as when I put through a request I was immediately denied as it was not a valid reason according to them. Adding to this- any circumstance that is listen in their refund policies requires literal documentation, which in the case of a dear verbatim asks for a death certificate, proof of relationship to the deceased etc. This is an invasion of privacy and is complete false advertisement. The worst part is that if they don’t like your answers, they can keep your money despite paying extra for a refundable ticket. DO NOT BUY WITHOUT READING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS!!!
Worst app ever. I downloaded app and tried to create account. Says account already registered. So I send a password reset request 3 times. The email never arrives. I then create a new email address (3 attempts) using a completely random email address that no-one else would use. It says email address already registered. I spent the past 20 years implementing IT systems in large corps so I am pretty confident it’s not me. There is no contact info on the app for support so lodging my thoughts here. What a complete waste of time. Fix your app!
Broken app and no support. BRILLIANT!!. What the heck is going on with app developers lately? I search for an event which has just become available for tickets, select it, and the app tells me the event is either in the past or tickets are no longer available. The event is in 6 months time and there’re clearly tickets available which you can chose on the website. But wait, there’s more. There is also absolutely no way of contacting any support. The Ticketek phone number has a message telling you how busy they are and then just hangs up!! Day after day after day. The NRL should be ashamed of itself being associated with a vendor such as Ticketek.
Bad App. Used this to try to get tickets before, doesn’t even update when concerts are sold out, still says tickets remaining. Was logged in for 7 hours saying my turn coming for tickets soon but elsewhere online said all tickets for all shows were sold within the first couple of hours. Absolutely no way to contact a person if you have issues with tickets you’ve previously purchased. Would give 0 out of 5 if I could.
Hackers. Anyone who can’t login, and doesn’t receive the password reset email can expect they have had their account hacked. This happened to me. If you have tickets on the account they have most likely sold on Ticketek marketplace. Ticketek will most likely refund you and let the person who they were sold to keep them. So they can keep the transaction/processing/ticket fees. Ticketek makes profit, you lose your tickets. They will offer to sell you whatever tickets might be still available for your event so again. They gain profit and you lose your original ticket to someone else.
The Eras Tour. As this was my first time buying tickets, I did not know how it was supposed to work. But seeing how much people were getting frustrated because they were severing people randomly and not in the order of when we entered the page. I entered the page 2 hours ago and a friend of mine entered later and got their tix in 10 min. :( Also, I looked at the difference between Ticketek and TicketMaster. TicketMaster: although you are in the waiting page, it shows you the number of the queue you are in and slowly takes you to your turn. Ticketek: whereas this one does not show you the number you are at and just keeps refreshing the page every 10 seconds. I truly hope this will be fixed for the future. PS. Really wanted to go to my first ever concert :(
Foo Fighters Brisbane. I received an email saying my electronic ticket has been unlocked. But it doesn’t show the ticket anywhere! On the app, it says ‘to access the ticket go on website,’ then on the website it says ‘the ticket can only be accessed on the app!’ Like seriously?! And there’s no way of contacting Ticketek. They do not answer calls or respond emails. Absolute rubbish we allow these morons do business like this in this country. Now, how the hell do I access my ticket is the real question!!!
Ticketek App Terrible. This would have to be the worst App in the history of technology. Clunky system that times out constantly and even when you have eventually bought tickets constantly crashes so you cannot share the tickets anyway. They have no communication system if things go wrong, no phone number to call and you end up getting an email from someone in Singapore that is not able to help anyway. Cannot believe they hang on to their contracts to manage tickets for half the venues in Australia.
DONT USE TICKETEK. Ticketek is horrible! Both the website and app are incredibly confusing and a scam, as well as an inconvenience! They do not place you in the seats that you select, only insuring that you are sat in the section you purchased. If you plan to get refundable tickets, forget it unless you have an EXTREME reason, even if you have paid the EXTRA FEE for refundable tickets they can DECLINE your REFUND. An unfortunate circumstance came up with the other member I’m planning to go to meaning both of us will be unable to go. Because it’s not an issue that’s involves circumstances like a fire, flood, domestic abuse, relocation and so on we are not eligible for a refund. Absolutely ridiculous, if possible DON’T use Ticketek. If I could, I’d give them NO STARS! And their lack of acknowledging ANY of these reviews is a HUGE sign that they do not care or have any consideration for buyers.
Taylor please blacklist this vendor for next show. They use lottery system to sell a ticket. There is no que number or whatsoever shows how much tickets left or how long we should wait. It’s all based on your luck. They selected random people. And if you are lucky enough, you will be able to purchase ad much as you want (like, really! some people can get multiple tickets for multiple shows) but If you are unlucky, they won’t even let you in purchasing ticket page.
Ticket trash. Took forever for a ticket my friend transferred me to be available in the app… while I can eventually open the ticket, I get an error trying to add it to my wallet. I also have other tickets for an event tomorrow that I purchased… they don’t show up under my tickets and I have to view my order history to access them. I still can’t add them to my wallet so I’m hoping there’s decent 4G reception at the venue so it can open the url of the tickets. I’ve never had a good experience with tickets from Ticketek and would rather give it 0 stars if I could.
Piece of junk. I go to a local rugby game once a year. Last year, bought some tickets for myself and some mates and can’t remember having trouble sharing them and for my ticket could send to Apple Wallet. All good. I’ve just bought my tickets for this year and completely different experience. The tickets show up in ‘Order History’ but not in the ‘Tickets’ tab. So I can’t share them or downloads to Apple Wallet. I selected the delivery to mobile option so forwarded one of the links to a mate. He can’t open it. So I’ve had to go on my computer to create a print to PDF version to send to my mate. This app really is a one trick pony and not even close to delivering.

App not Loading. Trying to load my tickets but the app won’t even load past the first screen. It’s just blank with a circle…concert is this week and don’t know how to get the ticket without the app!
0/5 stars, would not return. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I was trying to get tickets from a friend and despite hours of attempts to have the app work it wouldn’t do anything. Why have tickets only transferable in your app if it doesn’t work? Let it go through email or SMS without your garbage app.
