Keeps crashing...AGAIN. Starting last month, whenever I tried to open the magazine the screen stayed black. Eventually, after weeks of trying to get it successfully open, I got it. However, ONCE AGAIN I am having this issue with October magazine. This is seriously angering me and I think I might cancel my subscription. PLEASE UPDATE TO PERMANENTLY FIX THIS!!!

Buying November 2014 issue. I'm trying to buy the November 2014 issue with One Direction on the cover and it goes to process my request and I feel like I've sat there for five minutes, having to keep the app open no less, for my magazine to download. Wondered if another update is coming out soon.

Won't open. I loved this app at first. The idea of paperless magazines was amazing. I loved how interactive to was and I didn't have to flip all the pages. Then the new issues wouldn't open. I thought it was just a minor glitch so I got this version. Now none of my issues will load and I cant even open it half the time. Very disappointed, hope everything gets back to normal.

Charging twice for the same issue is pure greed. When I bought this subscription for my daughters, I double-checked to make sure it was a print+digital subscription. For whatever reason, we were able to view the first issue by mail and online, but now, Apple wants to charge again. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only parent/subscriber who is canceling her subscription due to this greedy policy.

No way to link print subscription. I subscribe to the print version of Seventeen, but I cannot download the digital issues unless I pay for them through the Newsstand app, which is ridiculous, who wants to pay for the same magazine twice?! Come on Seventeen, get on board, other beauty magazines I subscribe to offer this service at no additional charge for customers who subscribe to the print version!!!

Something to think about. Please think about adding a way for seventeen users and subscribers to access an already existing seventeen account. I get the issues every month in the mail, but I want them on my iPad. But why would I want to pay $3 for something I already have. Pleas think about this! I've had this app since January but haven't used it because I don't want to spend the extra money. It is now the end of march.

Potential. This app has the ability to be amazing. The only problem I have that prevents me from even using this is the fact that I'm not able to use my already paid subscription to the print magazine to read the digital version. If the makers would look into this, they would have something no one would be able to complain about.

It's good but it can improve. I love Seventeen Magazine! It's has everything: health, beauty, love advice, and fashion! The only thing I don't like about it is that now it erased my issues and I restore them but now it always says download failed!

Ok. Took over four hours for the magazine to load and while it was loading you had to keep the app up the whole time, but the magazine is very fun and interactive, but zinio works much better.

Loved Everything About It Until...... This was a really great way to start reading magazines until it started crashing. And majority of the interactive parts or the magazine won't work. Fix this bug! It can still be great, just fix it!!

Crashing. I normally love this magazine but I recently downloaded a new magazine after uploading but it wouldn't load and kept saying unzipping so I shut my device down after numerous tries of loading the magazine. When I tried to pull up the app though it just crashes. Please fix.

Love It!. I love this app! You can either subscribe to see the current issue or see the previous issue for free and it is so handy for on the go magazine reading!

How To Fx Crashing. For everyone who said it crashed, I deleted and reinstalled the app. I then redeemed my purchases when I reopened it by clicking the bottom lefty corner button. Hope this helps, it did for me!

Subscribers can't access their issues.. I bought this thinking that, like the "wired" app, I would be able to access the issues of seventeen that I own, as I am a subscriber. I have been subscribed to seventeen for several years. However, you are only able to read the issue by buying the virtual one. So if you download this thinking that you can read your subscription on your iPad, you are wasting your time. Disappointing.

No content to review. Imagine a newsstand loaded with magazines, all of them sealed except for their covers. Not a single magazine to allow you to thumb through the pages to decide if you want to buy it. Each magazine would cost you $3 just to crack its cover to see inside. Would you buy any magazines that way? Welcome to the world that Hearst wants for you here on your iPad. Only the reader is free. Everything else needs to be purchased site unseen.

This is getting so annoying!!!. It really PISSES me off that the developers of this app haven't fix this issue with the black screen. I really was happy when I had this app and paid for the year subscription and it work perfectly fine....until after 2 or 3 magazines that it was freezing on a page, and I was okay with that issue. What gets me furious is the fact I can't even access it cause there's just a black screen that just stays there....so thanks for making me pay for something that doesn't even work, Seventeen! If the developers of this apps makes an update that fixes the issues what other people have said it would of been 5 stars...

I like it. I don't have paper a paper subscription so I have no complaints. It works fairly well and I love it. Of course just like a lot of apps it just needs some fixes, like for those who have a paper subscription, and also HD/bug fixes an the such. I am a Seventeen Mag fan!

Very Disappointed. I am constantly reading Seventeen Mag. When I found out I could purchase magazines on my iPad, I was thrilled. But the app has let me down. After I have purchased the magazine it takes a painful amount of time to download if it downloads at all. And if I exit the app, it will not function properly afterwards. I hope Seventeen will step up on the app front.

Use to be my Favorite Magazine...HA, I was dummmmbbbbb. I use to actually like this magazine, but after it's makeover, it seemed to get...dumber. I'm not saying I don't appreciate "girl power" or anything like that, but it's just annoying to see it in every issue. Also, I think this magazine just wants to be popular because they keep using words like "bae" and other lingo that will quickly wear out. Overall, a terrible product...DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS MAGAZINE!!!!!!!!'

Amazing. I absolutely love this app. I have a lot of the magazines. The only thing that I don't like about it is that it tends to crash a lot. Also, sometimes when I open an issue it only shows black. The magazine doesn't pop up. Other than that, I love it!

I wish I could zero stars. I looove seventeen magazine but this app barely works and the support is non-exsistant. The other magazine apps by this developer have problems too. It's a shame that Hearst magazine won't even read the reviews here and fix the bugs. I have to say that until they make the support better or fix their apps DO NOT BY THIS APP OR MY OTHERS BY HEARST MAGAZINE. I have already waisted over $10 on their apps and I not even get to enjoy the issues. Huuuuge waste of money.

Let paper subscribers also have digital issues, added to their subscription.. I think that paper subscribers should also have a digital copy subscription that is added in the membership. It's a great way, if they lost or damage their copy....so they could see on their tablets, etc... Seventeen should be like those other magazines that let their clients have digital copies that are free with their subscription. I'm really tempted to unsubscribe from seventeen.

Pretty great!. I think the app could use some improvement but I really love all the magazines! If you're having problems with the app I suggest a paper version subscription, they're fun to receive in the mail plus you can read them better backs they aren't on a tiny screen:)

Need to login with existing account. This app would be great if you were able to login with an existing subscription from the print magazine, because no one wants to buy the magazine twice. I think people would like this much better if this critical feature was added.

Frustrated. So, when I downloaded the June 2013 magazine, the app crashed right when it finished the download, and when I pulled it up again, all previous purchases were no longer downloaded and refused to do so. At the advice of the app help page, I uninstalled the app, reinstalled it and then restored my purchases. It only restored 5 out of 12 magazines. I lost seven magazines and could not restore them - in fact, they were no longer even listed as purchased. I contacted Seventeen and they replied back that they were aware of the missing issues problem and were looking to fix it. I don't know if any of the updates were supposed to help with that, but I've never been able to restore the seven magazines I lost. I still use old magazines! The clothes might become out of date, but I still use the makeup tutorials and the hair sections and the exercises in the magazines! And I lost all of those! I'm ticked off to say the least. There was supposed to be a solution and there never was. I payed for those magazines! That's money out the window! And, probably any chance of me getting a magazine off of this app again. I'll probably just get a paper subscription. That way, if I lose magazines, I'll at least be able to find them again.

Seventeen app review. This app is on the HORRIBLE side. Ugh. First it turned black in the moving pictures, then when I tried to zoom in, it would not scroll around the page. Finally, when you turn your ipad, it freezes and starts flipping out to a bunch of pages. Otherwise the app is okay. I love the interactive links and stuff. Seventeen magazine is great, except for some of the outfits....that they put on models. Try a different style like Miley Cyrus's dress down outfits. And do more dress up with pant nice top and a cardigan. Try something WITHOUT heels. I personally think the magazine is great. The app has it's peaks.

Can't access anything. This app doesn't allow print subscribers to access the magazines they already received in the mail. Also when trying to change your password it doesn't work and says it couldn't process it. Very disappointed I couldn't read my magazines on my ipad that I already own and very disappointed in the app.

Seventeen Review! 💗. I moved to Israel and they don't sell Seventeen here 😞 But thankfully there is the digital version. Thank you sooo much! It crashes rarly for me, and there are special things like videos too available only in the digital version. Thanks again! 😊❤

Disappointed. I got this app thinking that I would be able to access magazines for free because I have a paper subscription. I found out that I would have to pay 2.99 for a magazine that I already have on paper! So not fair! They really need to let people with paper subscriptions be able to access the magazines for free.

Nice but..... This magazine was nice, but there are a few problems. I started downloading this on a good wifi connection at 9 am and was able to read it at 5 pm! (While it downloaded I barely used my iPad and it only seemed to make progress when I was in the 17 app.) Also I don't like it when I'm reading in portrait mode and accidentally go to landscape then back to portrait that I'm off the page I originally was on. Now the latest issue of the magazine won't even work -- It's a black screen! This happened after the last update, which you had to download in order to continue purchasing mags. Oh, and for the people who complain, "This mag isn't free!" think of it this way: would you rather pay for the app AND magazine or just the magazine? This company has to make money --- have you ever seen it on the stand in the stores? Their sales would plummet if they gave free copies away in the app. But on the good side I like the video integration and exclusive iPad user deals. Fix those problems and I'd rate it 5 stars.

I love seventeen magazine. I've loved Seventeen magazine since way before I was seventeen and I still do now at twenty. I am a very crafty person and love to recycle, but I've kept so many physical copies of Seventeen and not used that drove me to buy a digital subscription instead for $10.

Love this. I've been reading other people's reviews and they're saying its a "bad buy" and "don't waste your money" but actually I think this is a great magazine. I mean the magazines are only $2.99 to buy. It's more in the stores, so it's not really "wasting your money". I'm having no problem at all with "subscription issues". I love it and I think you will too :)

OMG! One of my faves!. I love this magazine so much!

Pretty good. :). When I first downloaded it the magazine would not open and the screen remained black. Soo I re-downloaded it and it now works fine! I love how the reader is able to engage with the magazine. Throughout some pages, there lies special 'tap here' buttons for additional information, photos, and even video tutorials. This app is totally worth it and I do recommend to others. :)

Amazing. This is awesome I really enjoyed it and it is not expensive so that was great I have always loved the magazine and now to have it where ever I go and not have to carry around a big pile of magazines is so amazing!!❤️👌👏

Good, could be Better. This app is good and the magazine is interactive is okay at best, but we should be able to click on products featured and be taken there, but what really bugs me with this app is the subscription service. I get 17 the print issue, I have had it for 5 years and have 2 years left. I should not have to pay for both print and iPad edition! Customers who are already subscribed should get iPad version free, 2 other iPad version magazines I have do that. So why not 17?

Fix. I downloaded the one direction issue of this magazine. When the download says "100% Unzipping" it goes on forever and my connection is very strong. I exit the app and it says its in my library but when I go to click on it the black screen pops up. I then archive it and try again but the same thing occurs. Please fix this as soon as possible.

Slow download. The downloading is taking forever! I purchased it an hour ago and it's only on 7%, but it was still a good magazine and afford more than you could get with a paper version. One thing I wish they had was that you could listen to music while you read.

Incredibly annoyed. I bought a subscription a couple months ago and I downloaded the hunger games issue and whenever i try to read it, the screen just goes to black and I can't do anything with the app at all. And it's also annoying that there's no website or anything that can help me with it.

Read and please respond you developers!. This is ok I guess... it’s so ridiculous how y’all make us pay for this! I literally can’t look at anything because it only gives me a couple minutes to look at each magazine! And personally I can’t purchase anything so that’s very unfair! So thanks for making this the worst app ever !😑

Ehh?. This app wouldn't be so bad if they fixed the bugs in it. I love the effects you get while reading, but I'm a bit frustrated that although I'm subscribed through my iPad I'm receiving bills to sign up for a paper subscription... Then at times the pages freeze for no reason. Fix the bugs and I'll fix my rating but for now I'm not 100% happy with this app.

What the heck?. I expected so much more from Seventeen. The magazines occasionally crash and take forever to load. And there's NO MORE INTERACTIVITY! You used to be able to click on photos and see exclusive photos of celebrities, but they took that feature away! Now, I basically pay extra money for this magazine just because it's on the iPad. Save the money- just buy the print version!

Love One Direction. I love <3 the magazine . Since i have always loved 1D I think it shows the true meaning of the boys . They all are very talented young men. I think they will be even more successful than they already are. I am only 10 years old. But I can still have a true mind. They have gone so far already. They will do great things in their life's. Interactivity is Great!. I love how interactive this magazine is. Click on a story from the cover and it brings you right to it. Your workout section comes to life with videos. The only thing that I would recommend is to allow print subscribers to access their issues for free.

Amazing!. This magazine has got it all! guy or girl advice, look alike clothes for a cheaper price, cheap nail polish, ect. This a defiantly for a teen but anyone can read it. It has such a clear picture and best of all, you don't need to go out and buy this magazine. Just get it for the iPad.(:

easy to read. For those that are complaining about the app crashing; when you purchase a magazine, you have to leave the app open until it downloads completely, otherwise, it will crash/won't open. other than that, it works fine. I have no complaints.

AGH!!. This is my favorite magazine ever but, I downloaded an issue, went to read the issue and the screen went completely black. Now I still cannot read the issue I payed for. Please fix this or I will have to delete the app-.-

I like the magazine but can't download it. The download see is too slow and every time I walk away, the screen was locked and it stop downloading ! After a few miutes, the download failed bcs connection to the server failed! I want my 1yr subscription money back!

.... I love the magazine itself, but I cannot figure out how to sign in with my current subscription, so I am probably deleting this app. Can anyone tell me how to log in with my current subscription? If not, I would recommend to the publishers that they fix this flaw.

.... Why are the magazines not cheaper...I know you have to make money but you don't need to pay full price when you can probably get the same magazine in the store for way cheaper I know I cannot afford to by a 3 dollar magazine. That is stupid and it should change

New issue is crashing on iPad. I bought and downloaded the new issue but when I attempt to read it, it only goes black or crashes. I tried restarting my iPad and archiving then redownloading it but nothing I can think of seems to work. Please help?

Um can't do anything. I wish I could actually use the app because it just crashes non stop, the screen turns black every time I open the magazine and it takes forever for a magazine to "unzip" I really want to read a magazine so I could say something positive but the app won't let me do anything so please fix it

Doesn't work.. I bought this months magazine and it took forever to download and then when it finally downloaded, I press it to read it and the screen went black and it didn't work. So I wasted my money.

Pointless. Everytime I try to buy the year subscription, it won't go through. An error comes up saying "Oops! Purchase unable to go through" or something along those lines. It's not my credit card cause that works fine. It won't even let me purchase one issue. No in app purchases will work. Fix please.

Good Idea, But... This app is nice in theory, but I am definitely not happy that I cannot use my print subscription to view the magazines in the app. And even once you get that sorted out, I'll still have to pay a discounted price for something I have already paid a subscription fee for? Black screen. I recently purchased the September issue but every time I tap on it to read it, the screen turns black and freezes. When I go back home and tap seventeen again, the screen is still black and frozen. I haven't even seen the first page of the september issue after I bought it.

Great!. This app is great, I love how interactive it is! However, sometimes it gets stuck on a page, and I need to access the Page Viewer to go to the next one. Also, how long does it take for the newest issue to be released?

Steal. I paid for the year subscription. And each time I try to download a magazine it says it has no record of my purchase I also did not get an account number so the support on website is absolutely useless to me. I emailed the support a week ago and do not have a reply. I am furious.

Don't get it!. When I saw the app in the regular magazine, I thought it would be great! Perfect for tanning outside and reading with out pages always flapping or reading at Starbucks. I bought the app and purchased this months magazine and clicked Read. A black screen popped up! Don't get the app it's a waste of money!

Pricey. I have the print copy and it does NOT let me download it to here. I gave it 🌟🌟 two stars because if you JUST want the e- mag copy then it seems okay. Overall, I will not recommend this to anybody.

Angry. Crashes and won't download. Tried to get my money back but they never refunded me after I was on the phone with them for several hours. Great app when it works.

Upset. I am a seventeen magazine subscriber and thought this would be nice as an addition. In some other magazine apps, if your are a ha copy subscriber than you can also be a electronic subscriber with no extra costs. That isn't the case here. I wish that they would let you do that. Not too happy.

Always Crashing!. I bought a magazine on this app, but I couldn't even finish downloading it before the app crashed. I even tried uninstalling and then reinstalling it, but it still crashes every time I try to open it. I just wasted $2.99 on a magazine that I can't even read.

Purchasing. If we already receive these in the mail, shouldn't we be able to get the magazines on here too. I didn't see a choice for that, but I would love the app if I could prove that I already pay for it

What about you subscribers. I already subscribe to the magazine and want to keep a copy on my iPad...then I found out that I can't. If you want to keep customers, then be customer friendly please.

Keeps crashing. The new issue took forever before it even let me download, and now that I have downloaded it, it keeps crashing. I deleted it and re downloaded the app and it's still not working. Please fix this.

Don't waste your time or money!. I payed $6 for two issues and while it was downloading it crashed and now when I open it back up it just crashes again. I'm glad to know Seventeen not only makes their print subscribers pay more, but gives them the worst quality product. Fix it now seventeen!

Needs a login for current subscribers. Ok, tons of magazines allow you to get your magazines that you ALREADY paid for through the IPad app. Not Seventeen. Why would I repay for a magazine that I already bought? The app is supposed to help make things easier, which it does not. I feel that the app is totally useless until that change is made.

Hot guys with dong oh so cool ha so dumb And the freebies only let people ages 13-29 enter the freebies but everyone can get the magazine and only women can enter what if my brother wanted to enter and if your going to put stuff for your room u should probably put a little more info cause your basically just putting pictures

I would like my money back. I just bought a magazine for three dollars, and have tried everything. No magazine! I would really like either my three dollars or my magazine please! I don't mean to be rude but this is quite irritating. If anybody can help me I would be very appreciative.

Please update. I know this app is new so a couple of thing to add to this app would be a chance to sign in with your account number or address and read the magazine if you already subscribed to the magazine. Hen you should make it easier thread the magazine...have the exact magazine but on the app

Fix. I love seventeen magazine but when I try to view the One Direction magazine it just shows a black screen, fix please. I have a year subscription and I want to be able to read the magazines THAT I PAID FOR.

17 mag. I enjoy reading the magazine and I like the pictures in the magazine and all the people I like and Admirer are in the magazine

Stressed & Frustrated. I was excited because I already own Cosmo and its ecofriendly and it was great so I downloaded Seventeen and anytime I turn off the wi-fi or the app crashes I have to painfully reload the magazines it happens multiple times a day!! I'm going back to normal paper copies and want my money back..

Disappointing. I am a print subscriber to seventeen which I love but I would also like to be able to download them on the app with no charge so if I wanted to read on my iPad I would have to subscribe again which is really disappointing fix it seventeen!

What is wrong?. I was very surprised by everyone's bad reviews because I was having no problems but right after I signed up for the yearly subscription I only get one. The latest issue which is the September one doesn't show I don't know what do. My money has gone to total waste. Please please please fix it.

Very Disapointed. I bought the most recent issue on Wednesday night, it is now Friday, and I haven't been able to read it. Every time I try to download it, it says "oops lost a connection, or our servers are busy!" it knows I've purchased this to! I want a refund or this to get fixed! A bill was even sent to me!

After I convinced my mom to let me get a subscription I download the december magazine and find out it was a waste of her money. Spent my money for no reason. It was working yesterday with my old magazines just fine but when I got the two new ones it crashed and came up with a black screen Please fix it I just spent 2.99 on two issues and It doesn't even work

Disappointed. When I got my iPad for Xmas first thing that came to my mind was 'I get to try the seventeen magazine on it' I was so excited only to be disappointend and find out that I would have to buy it, no matter how much I want to spend the money it's not worth it.

Print subscriber. Great app but would be a THOUSAND times better if print subscribers could have free access. I don't want to have to pay 2 subscriptions!!

Not working,. I really want to read it, but I can't. Every time I click read, it goes black and stays like that. It also automatically crashes each time I turn my iPad 2 to the side. This update did absolutely nothing. I'm mad!

Not paying twice. I already pay for the print subscription, and I was hopping I could use this app just to read on my iPad, but even if you already pay for the print you have to pay to use it on your iPad FIXXXX THISSSS!!!!!

It's a great app but..... When I got the new October issue, I tapped on it and the screen went black! Now I can't get back to the library or anything!!!

Horrible!. App always crashes & u have to end up deleting it and reinstalling it every time there's a new issue out. Which means u have to download all the previous magazines again & the downloads are stupid slow!

Can't read if you are already subscribed. Was hoping I could read them on my iPad cuz I'm already subscribed but I can't, have to buy it again.

Not consistant. 😡👎I have years subscription and so far 2 issues have not been able to load! So I payed for it but am not able to look at the issues. It just goes to a black screen!!

Very Disappointed. I was very upset that you can't get digital copies of the magazines even if you already payed for print copies. It's basically paying double the price. I wish I could give no stats because that's what I would give this app. At least Teen Vogue gives you digital copies if you are subscribed for print copies. Go teen vogue.

Good!. It's a little complicated flipping through the pages and trying to find a certain one, but I love the issues!

This thing was good untill.... I got the september issue and there is a major bug... It shows a black screen :/ plz fix it WAS a good app now im ticked off. I redownloaded it and waited forever for september issue to unzip now... Black screen ); FIX OR NO GOOD RATINGS PPL!!!! But before it was awesome (wayyy cooler than the paper mag) -cl30-

Bad. You should be able to login with your paper subscription information. There is no use if you have to pay $2.99 for something you already have. It would be better if they fix this.

👎👎👎👎. not good. if you read seventeen magazine and already have a subscription, dont bother downloading this, you cant login to your seventeen account like the normal magazine apps, you have to buy a subscription ALLLL over again to download the issues on here. waste of space

Crashes!!!!!!. Ugh.... It won't stop crashing!! Whenever I open it it just shuts down! I can never even read the issues cause when it does work, which is very rarely, the Magizine is just black!! It's so annoying!!! Don't download it until they fix it don't waste your money!!
