Useless. While I understand that this app is free and intended to get users to buy other apps, there are just too many ads. Every time you touch the screen, it pops up an ad that takes you to the iTunes Store. This makes the app essentially unusable.

Excellent. I find it very helpful and educational

Useless. Cannot zoom in to see any detail. No states shown and very few cities. Not worth a look

Disappointing. The map is nice, allowing you to move around the earth, switch to topographic view as well. But the map hardly expands--what you see is what you get. Nice to have a map on my desk, but very limited in cities listed, no US states, etc.

World map. Excellent color, a really good world map, I highly recommend iPad map app.

Searching. Gave me everything I was looking for. Nothing more and nothing less.

Crashed. Crashed. Too basic compared to other similar apps

World Map--free. I. I like this map--It's OK.

Well, the reviews are accurate. Before even seeing anything in the map, I clicked the x to close an ad and got bumped to the iTunes Store (because the have conveniently placed the "Download this app button" in the upper right hand corner, so if you accidentally click the x twice, you are sent to they tunes store. Ingenious for them, but def not for retaining customers. Update: Went back to app after the writing above review and immediately a pop up asking me to upgrade, clicked no and another full page ad. Uninstalling.

Decent?. Works as expected, but includes both permanent ads at the bottom as well as "pop up" ads that are annoyingly intrusive. Also seems to crash every once in a while, usually while trying to load one of these pop ups. The paid version would undoubtedly work better, but at that point you might as well just look up the information elsewhere on the web.

Nice map. Nice map...I like the time zone sections. I wish it went around (sort of like a globe). Overall, good map of the world.

World Map. I like having a map at my finger tips, however, this app does crash on my iPad.

Aggressive ads. I've downloaded over 100 apps for my iPad and this one is the worst in terms of its aggressiveness with ads. They pop over the whole map every time you are trying to view it. Don't bother downloading.

Not feature heavy. I would not recommend downloading the free version. It lacks detail and you have to put up with the banners. Google maps show much more detail and standard maps are easy to find with much more detail. Will delete the application.

Very Educational!. this is a great app for in school use! the school i teach at has ipads for our 'junior high' and this app has been put to use in class. it has been used especially in geography classes and incorporated into most of the other classes as well!

Use regularly. This map was free so I don't know what the other reviewers' problems are. And, just like almost every other app, there are those folks claiming that it crashes or doesn't work - well, that's probably the fault of their operating system, not the app. My iPad has the latest iOS and I've only had a problem with an app crashing once (out of hundreds of apps.) This World Map app works well and I regularly use it to figure out exactly where a country or major city is. In the U.S., most people couldn't locate most countries on an unlabeled map, so this FREE map is very handy. I highly recommend it.

Even free : not worth the time you spent downloading it!. The only thing you can see is an ad across the world map and a banner offering you to get the full version!

Not Updated. I teach middle school geography and was looking for an updated map of countries/capitals for ipad so I could walk around the classroom checking work instead of using Google maps all the time. I was so disappointed. In checking the capital of Tanzania (which has been Dodoma since 1996) it said the capital was Dar El Salaam, the old capital. This app canNOT be more than 19 years old! So where are they getting their outdated information? Let's just say I deleted this app right away and will NOT be teaching with it.

Junk.. The developer constantly bugs you to buy the paid version of the app. This app keeps sending notices and has this awful banner ad at the bottom. The map is slow to load anyway. Look elsewhere!

Great for names of counties. Google earth is great for details but this is much better for seeing names of countries all at once. Exactly what I was looking for.

It NEEDS to be UPDATED!. It use to work just fine but no longer because they haven’t updated it since 2015! Please UPDATE!

Not a top notch app. Hard to see map for the ads. Crashes about 30% of the time.

Needs update to work with iOS 11.. Was great until iOS 11, now does not work. Needs updating thus the reason for rating.

Bad app. App keeps giving ads even when I close them they send me to the web browser then to the App Store and when I go back to the app it crashes

Review. The map is fantastic. I can view the areas of my research with a swish of my finger.

Great map. Wonderful for viewing the "big picture".

Mom. I thought this might help my son with History. There is NO search function. There are a LOT of ads. The world map is very pretty. There is no option to show physical features. The only options are to buy the not-free version and to play games, LOTS of games. Glad I didn't pay for this!

Rating. Crashes often....too many pop ups....no or few map details

No Search function!. Very surprising that there is no search function. I'm looking at the map because I don't know where something is.

Very simple. Fine for very basic use (where is Estonia?) but not a lot of detailed information.

World Map. This app lacks detail and you can not zoom in. I have the paid version and it is a disappointment. This map app is only good to see where a country is in the world.

Worthless. This ap is a useless piece of junk. I would like to be able to see more detail of specific countries and states. The US is just one large blob. Not worth the time it takes to download.

Great Ad app. This is a great app for viewing ads and being forced into the App Store against your will. I think I saw a map in there somewhere too. Move the map, see an ad, try to zoom, go to the AppStore. Ad ad ad ad ad AppStore ad AppStore. Etc.

Bad. The app stinks. Annoying pop ups, and the x to close them is right on top of the button to purchase the full version in the App Store. So when you close the pop up, you end up going to purchase the full version. Very annoying app overall. Much easier maps to use out there.

World Map. We used the world map with our 4 year old granddaughter. It is a good map, however with the addition of the person search, I.e. girls, boys or both, it has become an app that I need to remove from her educational applications. It now gets zero stars.

Exactly what I wanted. I wanted a map to reference when I heard something about a country on the news, social media that I wasn't familiar with. It works great for that. Has never crashed on my Ipad.

Very excellent.. Very good map. Easy to read, but I wish they would put some rivers in.

A little better than avg. Needs to be able to zoom in on more specific city locations by searching and show a clock with current time wherever you zoom in. But it's still one of the better FREE world time apps for iPad.

Not kid friendly - beware of "adult" ads. I downloaded this app for my three school age children, I knew there would be ads, but I did not realize until after opening the app that ads are for "adult" apps. This is not a kid-friendly app and I am disappointed that they use to "education" moniker to bait families. FYI one star is the lowest rating they allow, it deserves NO stars.

43mb for a low resolution. Not really worth it for the adds etc

Great. Awesome app! I personally love geography and looking at the world map. It's just what I need to refer to when l want. It doesn't rotate (which would be even better) but it does show the political borders clearly. Great to access it on my iPad and refer to easily when having discussions about the world.

Maps. Good for time zoning, would prefer a rotating globe.

This may be all you need. Simple and light on resources, this functions beautifully as an straightforward atlas with timezones, although I'd recommend the very cheap paid version over this. If you need more detailed country information and demographics find your preferred app version(s) of the CIA World Factbook as well, but this app suffices most of the time. Highly recommended.

DOES NOT START!. I just downloaded this app. The presentation is nice and all, but it does not boot on my iPad... The price is right, but sometimes free is too much for some useless soft that does not even start... I was wondering if you guys ever tried this soft before publishing it... Did it work? I guess not! I would give it less than a star if I could...

Don't bother installing it. It's not an application. It's a picture viewer with only two pictures of the world map. One is the political world map picture and the other one is a time zone picture. Oh, right! And there's a "buy the full version" button!
