Eh.... I like btd4 and 5 but the 4 one is way worse quality, in BTD5 you can record but you need to provide your own in btd4.

Great Game!!!. I play this game lots!! It is my favorite game for iPad and iPod. There is a bug however that when I get to high rounds I stop earning very much money and I have double money on and also there needs to be a thing where highscores are uploaded once you get to wifi. Also a feature where you could play multiple maps at once would be cool for iPad!!!:D

Get it!. By far one of my most played games. It's great for those times when you feel like being entertained without having to press lots of buttons all the time. Plus, retina display is a plus :) the developers have nearly doubled the content in the game with updates since its launch and appear to be continuing to crank them out. Great game!

What's wrong?. I'm not sure why everyone's complaining because this is a fantastic game and is by far the best Tower Defense games on the App Store. Definitely worth $4.99 and $.99 for the extreme map pack. Not worth $1.99 for the upgrades, but why not just play the game until you unlock those upgrades instead of paying for them. There is ONE problem though. I'm Rank 86 on the game but I STILL don't have the Spike Factory. Please update that because I was told it was unlocked on Rank 34 and I'm a little past that. And bring Bloons TD 5 faster. Best Tower Defense game out there.

Still not right. Folks I truly do love this game, and the whole family plays the on-line versions, but seriously, the update issues are ridiculous. After the "new" new update, I still get white blocks on the towers, the Bloons, and the control buttons. After playing long enough to reach rank level 76, I'm not about to uninstall and lose all that progress until there is no choice...but that shouldn't have to be! Not to mention there's no apparent way to contact the developer if you don't have Twitter...and my e-mail on their main web site went unanswered.

LOVVEE ITT. I love this game I remember playing this game in 2010 it was my childhood game and i loveeeee how nothing changed about it, everything is still the same which is amazing!!! Playing this now 10 years later makes me live my childhood again.

Good but...... I have always been a big fan of bloons tower defense since the start when it was on the computer. But I love it still on iPad/iPod/iPhone except It sometimes crashes on my iPad. And it also won't let Me buy the upgrades. Every time it says error cannot download upgrades at this time););); Other than those bugs it's great! So please fix it from crashing and let Me buy upgrades!.!? When it is fixed I will give 5 stars. And p.s PLEASE GET THE DARTLING GUN ON THIS FROM THE COMPUTER. THEN THIS GAME WILL TRULY BE THE BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (:

Give us a current update already!. Oh my goodness. This game is fantastic. I love watching my little monkey towers blow those bloons to oblivion. My only complaint is the upgrades. Why can't any user (reading other reviews) purchase any of the upgrades? Updating this game so that the upgrades can be purchased with iTunes gift cards or other payment, would take this game to a whole new level.

Fail. Well at least it opens now. But don't expect it to be right. Giant white boxes instead of towers and darts. I wouldn't consider this alone being a one star rating but after the last fiasco, I will not be raising my rating until they take the time to actually fix their mistakes; however, they did have time to start advertising other games from them you can buy. I don't believe I will spend anything else with them until they can start putting out apps with some quality again. If you are stuck in the download loop and can not update, download the update via iTunes on your pc and then sync your device.

iPhone version SOLD SEPARATELY!!!. So I love BloonsTD4 and used to waist hrs on it when I was in school. So I ended up getting the app for my iPad because why not? So the other day I had a bunch of meetings and was going to be at work for around 15hrs with a bunch of down time in between. So I was like I’ll download it to my iPhone and and kill some time while I wait. They are super sneaky and the iPhone version is a separate app bloons td 4(iPhone) vs bloons td 4 hd (iPad) this is so stupid! Now don’t get me wrong it’s only $3 but it’s still wrong! Also since they are separated apps it means your progress won’t sync though Game Center / iCloud. This is soooooo stupid it actually makes me a little mad!

Bloons Bononza. Your latest update (adding more challenges) is super-great! I really enjoyed the new track for Halloween - the changed tower characters were hilarious. I hope that you are going to add similar tracks/challenges for other holidays as well! This game is my very favorite that I enjoy playing over and over, etc and have tried just about every possible mix of defense towers to add my own version of 'challenge' to play each track. I also hope you will create a new tower or two to add to the fun & challenge to playing this great game. Have you considered adding a new type of bloon? Please keep the updates coming!

AWESOMENESS!!!😃. I have alot to say about this game. It has really good graphics. It also has the real online game feel. The best part is probably that you can play without wifi and there is no reason to buy the extra upgrades. The only thing is, there have been alot of updates online for BTD5 and i think that BTD5 should soon be available on ipad/ iphone. Sorry for the long review, but it is all true. P.S. i think that the online game is the same as this. It kind of makes you feel like you are actually on the internet!

Fix the upgrades!!. I'm not sure if you realize this but you have several people who love this game enough to write reviews telling you they want to pay you more for what you have done. The problem is that the in app purchase isn't working and that means that you can't get the money that people are willing to pay for the unlocks. Also I don't know the best way to get in touch with you personally seeing as how both contact forms just link to your twitter. But any news about the upgrade being fixed would be helpful. Thank you for what you have done so far and I hope to get back to bloon popping in full force soon.

Great game but.... Why are there still updates on td4 when you could just make td5...you could make so much more money!!!...or just make an update with the sniper monkey and 4 more upgrades on every character like in td5 oh & there should be an option to save and quit not save and quit every time...the last thing is there should be a restart button cus at the moment you have to leave go back in and load the level again...other than that great game!!!

It's a must have iPad app!. At first I was a little hesitant to purchase this app... But I finally pushed my self to get it (of course then realizing there is a lite version). But I have NO regrets getting it. Great cartoon graphics! The animation flows SUPER smoothly. At first I thought it was just another tower defense game (which it is a TD game) but no, it is way better then any other TD game out there in the app store. Over all.... GET IT!!! and if you're not sure if you want it get the lite version (but I PROMISE you will WANT the full version!!)

Gotta keep it up to pace. I love btd4,I love all the btd games personally. They are really good games. But the iPad app is sub-par. Goldfish, release the updates at the same time. Don't give the iPod touch app it's update way before iPad's. Honestly they shouldn't even be separate apps you should get the iPod and iPad version from downloading it and they should be updated. Even though I personally don't have iPad 3, I noticed from other reviews that the game doesn't even have retina support yet, even though you just gave it a new update. So there's not even really an excuse to be behind the iPod version. And on an unrelated note, you guys really need to come out with btd5 for ios soon, it's been a while and I think you should just release the game for ios instead of adding a tower from the game to btd4, even though I realize there are developing issues. Still, theres no reason for the iPad app to be sub par, pick up your game goldfish.

BTD4. I am a big fan of This game but when the last update came out it would not download for some reason and i had to delete and reinstall it and it works fine now but I had made it pretty far rank 50 something or higher and I had all of the perks but it gone now if there is anything you can do to fix this I will appreciate it greatly

App is working again. Seems like the last map I was popping bloons on is gone but the app is loading again. I had to update my iPad to the latest iOS update. I usually wait a while before running them. Customer help tried but didn't really have an idea other delete the app to reload, losing all progress. Luckily I didn't have to start from scratch again. I look forward to mass popping again.

Blows my mind!. I've been playing this on my computer and I'm really surprised the iPad has this game too! Bloons tower defense 4 is my favorite game to play on my iPad! The only problem is that the start button for the next round to start is smaller than the demo and It's a weird since I'm not used to it. On computer my Mochigames account is BalloonDestroyer31. I'm playing this game everyday on my iPad! Even breakfast! When I'm eating or something I get a lot of towers then I start the round. Anyway keep up the great work you guys are awesome! Needs support.. I love is game having played for days and weeks on end on my pc. As soon as I saw this for iPad I gladly shelled out 5 bucks to have it on the go! I recently updated to iOS5 and now upon reloading I have lost all of my levels. I do not use twitter and have no way of finding support for my missing map pack. I certainly don't care about my leveling as that is half of the joy. I would however like the maps that I paid for. I can gladly show my receipt. Until then only 2/5 stars for this 5/5 star game.

Love it, but.... Let me first say, THIS GAME ROCKS!!! Absolutely love popping' those bloons! However, and I don't know if this is because I have an iPad 1, but the game suddenly stopped loading. It won't even get to the 'more awesomer' Ninja Kiwi screen. It just shuts down and kicks me out. I've restarted my iPad, but no luck. The iPhone version works fine, but I didn't pay $4.99 to have the app crash all of the time. Very frustrated at the moment. This app deserves five stars, but can't give it because of he crashes. Once it's fixed, it will be five stars immediately.

Stunning, but.... This app is ridiculously awesome. Should cost much more because of it's greatness. Smooth as heck on iPad 2. My only complaint is that I don't have the newest update, while it is already out for iPhone! Other than that minor detail, this app is not matchable by another game app. 10 stars. I'm stuck winning.. Updates sound great but I haven't been able to play any of the new maps because I seem to have mastered the storm cloud map. I'm up to round 132. The RBE is over 900k. I've got 85 sun gods, 18 rings of fire, a monkey storm, and when they added the spike factories I added 13 spike storms. I've got over 2 million dollars and add 46k every round from banana research facilities. It takes over 10 or 15 minutes to get through the rounds now and no bloons even come close to the exit. I demolish floods of BFBs or whatever that huge red and white bloon is. Need some more powerful bloons to kill me so I can play the new maps without intentionally losing.

Update problem. App worked great until I tried to download the update. It won't download and now I can't even play the original version. Tried downloading it several times, I hope I don't get charged for each attempt. Please fix, I would like to play the game again. Update.... Thanks to the developers for acknowledging the problem and letting us know a fix is on the way. I look forward to being able to change my rating back to 5 stars. Any chance you can give free bonus maps (the extreme maps) to those of us who have already paid for the app and have been affected by this latest bug as a way of saying thanks for our business?

Won't play or update. When I update latest version it won't download at all and then after like 30 seconds it says unable to download and then I click retry and bam! It does It again. Other than that its like the best game I've ever played... All gold metals... Fix it please and I'll be at least 99% to 100% happy and I was hoping the spike tower would work and I read other reviews and please there won't be white boxes. I have been playing for long time without spike factory and now that it's not working.. I can't play...... FIX PLEASE!!!!!! Btw I have and iPad 2. Other than all of that I give it 5/5 rating.

I hate the updates. Why do u keep giving us updates if we either have to unlock them or buy them what the donkey balls. Make and update with a new monkey call monkey rex. It breaths fire at the bloons the first upgrade to the tower will be blue fire more powerful. The second upgrade is three headed dragon that breathes fire. The third upgrade is that it can demolish everything in its path, so simply it decinigrates everything. Then if you are rank 35 you can do the fourth a final upgrade which is shooting thrree different colored fires blue purple and green. So all together you have a three headed monkey with scales that breathes blue purple and green fire and destroys everthing in its past. Thats all i gotz to say. Peace oh and i hope they are reading this.

No audio? Why!?. The game itself is excellent but the app is terrible. It would be fine except for that there is no audio. I do not care about Bloons tower defense five and I have no intention of playing it. It is very disappointing to see that the developers have given up on this game. What a waste of three dollars.

Amazing. Simply a great app!! My favorite game on my iPad 2. Just 1 request/idea for the dev. The monkey ace tower should have a minor function added where you can rotate it's track, for example how the standard monkey ace track just goes up and down, well throw in an extra button that let's us rotate it or have it set in like 45 degree or 90 degree preset fixes. The reason I would like to see this is because it's my favorite tower but a few of the tracks could get tons more coverage flying left to right rather than up and down, it's just an idea I thought I'd get out there and what better place than here! Anyways buy the app (: it's AWESOME!!!

Love it, but.... You guys NEED to get the updates on the iPad version up to speed! Bloons td 4 HD has fallen behind the iPod version by 2 updates! Plus, we pay more. Why should iPad owners pay more for less?!?! This is clearly an illogical and needs to be fixed now. **Update** now that the update is here, you get 5 stars because this game is the BEST tower defense game on iPad. Just try to keep it up to speed with the iPhone version as far as updates go please. Also, you guys should add some iPad only features such as maps, towers or game types. THIS IS HD!!!. OK, so I love this game, especially since it’s the HD version not the regular one and you don’t have to buy it with three bucks. I have no idea why, but everybody keeps messing this up for the original one.

Great game but 1 glitch.... This is a great game for the iPad! You can save your game and the challenges are just that, challenging without being impossible. It is one of the only apps I felt was worth spending the money to get. However, there is a bug in one of the challenges and I have yet to see anyone address it, even though there are threads written on the NijaKiwi site. The Lava Lake challenge requires 45 levels, but after 60+, I still haven't "finished" the challenge. Please fix this in the next update. Other than that, perfect game!

Very good. This game is very good I would like a iCloud feature cus I bought a new iPad I was on like ran 93 or maybe higher but I had to restart from rank 1 but is still good I started playing bloons on td 3. They game is alot like the flash game a little better graphics, a trash can to cancel purchases what could be better then a trash can. (Sorry) HUD way way better then iPhone but great game

Bloons Tower Defense 4HD. I love this games so much. I have both versions for my iPad and iPod. It's a very fun game and if anyone likes tower defense games you will become easily addicted. I have gold medals on every single level except the ( play game--> challenges--> extreme--> bloons vs. monkeys) I try and try and even add to my regular extreme method but nothing works if anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it and also I would love to know what the new tower update is.

Preposterous!. As with the idiotic stupidity of the previous update, as all of us had, I was unable to update this application. After much consideration and the later perturbance of the delima, I deleted the application so that I might be able to download the application yet again. Upon deletion, the application prompted that it would delete all of its data, which was the only path to traverse, seeing that all attempts at updating were futile at best. After attempting the download yet again, it achieved yet again its "formal glory," for it was able to be played again. The problem came when I realized, to my dismay that it did not keep the data of my in-game purchase of the upgrades, to be used in combat. I know very well that I could simply get golden metals to unlock them yet again, but I already paid for the unlocking of them, so I should be able to obtaing them without going through the trouble of doing so. I would give this application a five star rating, as my previous was, but there, however, is thedelima of not being able to have the things which a paid for previously, they really should, I don't know, record their customers' purchases!

Awesome!. Oh yeah! Now Ninja Kiwi SURE worked on this game! It was a classic back then! I love it because of late game awesomeness, OP towers, and even difficulty! This game is definitely worth the 3 bucks!

Please help!. Okay, can anyone help? The thing is, I need to know if this update is free. If it is not free, I am not allowed to get it. I think (almost know for sure) that it is free, but my parents say that you have to pay for it because of a glitch in the system that says it costs $5.99 (the original price) PLEASE help because I really want this update (I rated it 5 stars because I know it is awesome) so please tell me if it is free!

Great game. I have always loved the bloons games even before they were on the ipad. I do remember thinking the price was a bit steep but it is a long lasting game and they have been updating it so it should eventually be worth every penny. The only issue i have with game is the same issue i had when i would play it online with my pc. Once you get to higher levels with lots of baloons the game stops running smoothly. For the ipad 1 it seems to push to the very edge of what it can handle. In the end it is a very fu. Game and i would def recomend it.

Great game. I love this game. Have/had it for the iPhone which I quit playing when I got the iPad. I have had no problems with it that have affected my game play other than trying to do too much in some of the later stages on hard difficulty. My only question is with the achievements in Game Center. I have 16 of 17 unlocked but there doesn't seem to be a 17th achievement. I am going to look online to see if this is addressed anywhere but I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the game. My only complaint with it is when I get to the later stages and all I do is start the stage and then look away to do something else because I have enough defenses in play to handle anything that the hard difficulty throws at me. It gets a little boring but overall it is something I can live with. Keep up the good work.

LOVE IT!. I had had no trouble with updates as other reviews say. Bloons is an awesome game that won't let you get your eyes off it. You will sooner or later be delighted by its amazing and challenging levels, and creative upgrades. All I have to say is that the creator(s) of this game is/are fabulous, and I have no clue how they got all these fantastic ideas to make such an entertaining game. Don't waste your time reading other reviews that complain about crashing trouble, because that was the past, but now this game has no errors and it is a great money inversion because it will keep you entertained for weeks with all the marvelous levels it has. And lastly, it is for kids of every single age as it is fun and contains no violence. BUY THIS AND JOIN THE FAN CLUB!

Awesome game. I LOVE this game but I just wish this and the iPhone version would get sandbox mode and I also want the hd version updated with the spike factory like everyone else has said the computer and iPhone got a few weeks ago but if you don't think about sandbox mode or spike factory this is an AWESOME game thanks for putting it in the app store One more thing you guys should make a Bloons Tower Defence 5 I would buy that as soon a it came out

Couldn’t get in. I remembered playing this game a long time ago and wanted to play it again. Just one problem: it crashed 3 seconds after it was opened.

No update. I've been pumped for the new update for a wile now after getting a text from my friend who owns the iPod version of this game yesterday, but still no update over a day later. This is the third time that the people who paid $2 less than me get the update days before me. It's a good game but for some reason I'm beginning to feel swindled.

Good, but a bug. This is a fun game... No doubt. Very addictive, both me and my kids love it! A bug that really messes me up, though, is that most of the time your finger can't grab a tower on the first try... Or it grabs the wrong one. Drives me nuts and makes me lose on a couple of challenges when my first attempt to grab spikes gets a banana farm instead. It happens even when I'm very deliberate in my attempt. Fun game... Hope this bug is on the radar.

Great game, but.... I've beaten every single aspect of this game. I've spent countless hours and one thing that would make it even better was if you could add a Deflation+apocalypse mode. That way when you spent all of your money you don't have to keep pressing play, you can just let it run until you run out of lives. But great game

One of my favorite games on the app store. This game is crazy fun! But when you get around level 110 it lags a little and I was wondering if it was fixable or possible to have a smoother gameplay at the level 110 and up. But the game itself is over the top, way more then my 5 stars. The game has not yet crashed on me and has kept me playing for hours.

Great game, but need real upgrades not just maps. Love the game, but after you beat it and have all the upgrades, the game becomes really boring. Instead of new tracks, how about newer tougher enemies, newer more interesting upgrades, additional level upgrades. How about design a course option as well. Thinking new towers like flame thrower or heat ray, water gun to just push back bloons, or water rounds with more water related towers vs just the existing boat. Maybe an air round with additional air towers vs existing plane. New bloon enemies could be train bloons or tank shell bloons, or just at the least make them harder to pop. Ideally you have some that fight back, and attack your own towers. Maybe even make the towers need power, and you need solar power plants or something to spice the game and concept up

Great game download had no problem. I have no idea what people were talking about when they said the game is glitched. I downloaded it without a problem, and that is saying a lot given the fact that my Internet is reasonably slow. The game is a fantastic one with no flaws as far as I can see. Great Game!

What started my love for the bloons franchise. Bloons TD 4 is a game that started my love for bloons TD, and ya really executed it well, the towers, upgrades and all that are just plain epic, but stuff like bloons TD 5 is always better! But I exceptionally love this because it is the first bloons game I have ever played! Props to NK!

FIX! THIS ISSUE MAKES THE GAME UNPLAYABLE. This issue NEEDS to be fixed, there are many other complaints. The problem is that when we actually select a map and a difficulty, the game kicks us out. I honestly really like the btd franchise but I didn't pay however much it was to not even be able to play the game👎😤 can't believe bowman much money was wasted on this THATS $8 we won't get back FIX IT PLEASE!

Thumbs down. I found that this game and become very boring after a short period, this game is definitely not worth paying for.

Laggy?. It is a very good game but when you get to the higher levels it gets very laggy...and I mean very. It's almost like the game is not designed for iPad. So the laggyness effects how you play the game. You can't quickly grab a new tower because the lag just won't let you. It's just ridiculous. This game would be so much funnier and get such higher ratings if it just didn't lag.

BTD 4. This game is great. I love BTD 4 on the computer and I love it on here. My only complaint is, where's Sandbox mode? Sandbox mode is really fun on the computer. Can you please make a Sandbox mode for the next update? That would be greatly appreciated thnx :) Other than that, this game is awesome and epicly fun. :)))

Btd 4 in the best. I really like btd 4 but I don't have enough for btd 5 I think it is a little bit pricey I got btd for my birthday with an iTunes voucher but I really want btd5 btd4 was the best thanks

Great game. This game is very great first unlocking things like super monkey, banana factory fully upgraded banana farm and then you can not stop playing I am rank 102!

Very entertaining and enjoyable, but.... Can't save after level 49, and unlike the PC version, can't change player, therefore, you're stuck with completing at level 49, then continuing the freeplay which you lose anyway when you log out (as I said, can't save). Next time you want to play, you start from level 49, BUT ONLY IF you've been saving after every level. An upgrade will be nice, even if I have to pay a few dollars more.

Demand a refund. This game cost me around 5 dollars and DOESN'T WORK! I demand a refund as this money was from my birthday and meant something to me.

Not Happy. I bought a in app purchase and now I m not able to use it so wat was the point of this purchase and how many people u guys take their money cause if u didnt know $2 + a lot of people = a lot of money on top of this game being on of the dearer ones not happy guys D:

Just putting it out there. Just putting my idea in my mind to DIGITAL GOLDFISH LTD can there be a tower that lets the player put a tower on it like a boat or an upgrade on the monkey bunkerneer to let other towers on it. Thanks

Stuffed things up.. I'm disappointed, this was a great game and the fact that you put the spike tower in was even better! But sadly when you put the spike tower update things seemed to fall apart. So I'd like to see you fix this issue ( every thing going white) so we can enjoy this game at most. Please fix this problem.

Keeps crashing. The game keeps crashing I can't even select a level when I open the game not even 5 seconds it crashes I spent $8 on that game and it doesn't even work fix this problem pleaseeee!!

Best ever. This is one of the best games I've ever played, although updates are pretty rare and come out about every 6 months or so. This makes the game not really have enough content and everything seems old. The game also has great graphics (which is awesome,) and I know you are very busy on btd 5, but this is a great game and I think you should keep building up on it. It would be awesome if the game had more than 30 towers, because the content would be so great, and it would become sort of hectic. It makes games have more ingenuity which means more people would play it. The amount of people that already play this game is huge, but if ppl kept commenting on it it could go on the top games for iPad.

Great game but not great game. This is a great game and I love it, when I first got it i couldn't get off it. But one I was starting a new level and the game crashed on me and I've tried deleting and reinstalling it but nothing works. Plz fix ASAP🙁👎

Great game but crashes now. Just started crashing on me, can't even load up to the menu. Also can you make the Farmyard Challenge a tad easier? I'm on rank 77 and tried it near 100 times but it's just way harder than any other challenge, so much so it's not fun anymore. I have gold medals on every map and challenge but I just can't pass this one. Cheers

Great. This game I think is one of the best games on the app store I played this on computer but I think it's better on iPad worth every cent maybe even more

Super Duper. This game is so pro!!!! It's puzzling genre creates fun hours of enjoyment. It's gameplay is simple yet addictive. Highly recomended!!

Great game. So the BTD series are the best tower defence games ever the only problem I have with it on pc/Mac you have to buy the special upgrade eg dreadnought crystal ball ect but on iOS you can just unlock them but other then that great game

Fun, but laggy. Fun game, and very addictive. But the game in later stages begins to lag much more than the non hd version to a point where I couldn't be bothered waiting for the end of each stage. Btw, I have the new iPad.

Love this game, but.... This is one of my favourite TD games ever. It works well, has a good learning curve, fun towers with interesting upgrades, and the ability to have each tower automatically prioritise which types of bloons it will attack. It would have easily rated 5 stars, but it has an annoying bug which erases all of my progress after a day or two of play. This is surprising, coz this game has had a lot of updates, so you'd think all the bugs (especially such a frustrating one) would have been sorted out by now. Will try re-downloading, but if it happens again I probly won't bother playing this again on iPad, until the next update, anyway.

Keeps crashing I can't even play 1 second. I had this app on another divice and for my birthday I got a voucher so I got this app but it keeps crashing every time the level is loading so I can't even play it I'm disappointed because it was only a $20 dollar voucher Iv tried restarting the iPad deleting the app and getting it again it just won't work 😢 please someone tell me how to fix this I did 5 because on the other divice the game was amazing but that divice is gone so I can't play this game

Awes version of BTD4. I love Bloons TD5 Deluxe - this version isn't built on flash obviously, so it's a different game altogether, yet still captures the game brilliantly. As a Bloons fan, this is a great addition.

Lasers and daisies. With the lasers and daisies challenge I only get 5 dart super monkeys not the laser ones I think this is a bug that needs to be squished.

Good but. I am happy to pay the $5 but when you start charging extra for premium content that is a little ridiculous. The lite version is supposed to be the one without full content, hence the lite tag. Other than that a really good game worth the $5 if 'premium' content is removed.

Why so slow. I have played the bloons series and I love them so that's why I give it a 5 but is it just me but does it download REEEEEEEEEALY slowly?

Where's the next update?. Very good game that is great is so many different ways that it's impossible to say, but it's missing the tack factory. Both the computer and the iPhone/iPod touch versions have it, so why doesn't the "HD" version have it. This one costs more than the iPhone/iPod touch version so it's only fair that we get it. Update 2.8. Just downloaded 2.8 and went right to new challenges. I soon discovered, however, that in the laser monkey challenge as soon as you confirm placement of the monkey it automatically defaults to a standard super monkey, all five do this. Suffice it to say once the round starts you get trounced fast and seemingly have no recourse. Other than this I have had ZERO issues with the game right from release. Third generation iPad 1

Good game with bad glitches. I really like BTD 4 but there are some glitches. When you get the monkey apprentice and then fully upgrade it and pass level 20, the glitches will come in. The annoying one is when you have the tornado pick up the balloons at the start of the track - they go all the way to the end of the track, so you lose lots of lives. I don't think I would recommend this game.

Great game. This is one of the best td games hands down. Great support too. Extra modes with no extra cost.

Upgrades don't work. It's a great, fun app. I love to play it in my free time on my phone. I even bought the upgrades. So naturally, when I found the iPad app, I bought it. I had lots of fun, but I realized I hadn't got the upgrades, I tried to get them. So I hit the "restore purchases" button and entered , but it just keeps saying "processing." I very much enjoy the game, but the upgrades do make it more fun. If you could fix this in another update, that would be fantastic. Thanks.

Super good game!. Wow, this was a LOT better than I had expected. The Lite version was horrible, but this is just amazing. Forget my earlier complaints about the Dartling Gun and Spike Factory because THEY'RE HERE THIS TIME. Just amazing. If you want to spend money on this, go ahead. Just remember that BTD5 is a better investment. Remember to spend your money.

It's now 2012-Feb-16, updated version still does not download properly.. I tried to download the 2012-Jan updated version many times, all failed. Please help. Love this game, but the problems make it hard to play. Now I can't play it at all - as once the download / update starts,. you can't play the game anymore. The download keeps on restarting until you get a corrupted file error message. You can't even do the update in iTunes on the Windows environment. Please help. It's been now maybe 3 weeks the app has been failing? Bummer. Before this last revision it worked. Even after the 1st attempt to patch this revision, it's still not working. Bummer.

5 stars. The game is really good, it's fun addicting the level system is kind of cool. Bad part when you try to buy upgrades the option does not work. If your not going to go online with it then don't put it on the update till you actually have it.

Great game + idea. I think this game is a great time consumer, and great fun. But there is something that I think you should add... Pause for dramatic effect... Drum roll please! The creators should add another place-able called the apple mine. Basically it is like the pineapple, except it is a land mine that explodes on contact with bloons. There should be a final upgrade coming with this update for the airplane monkey thingy, that allows it to drop apple mine instead of a pineapple, and the apple mines go directly to the track. Nerfed. I've been playing BTD since the third one just came out and I love the game. The HD graphics do make it amazing but it is 'nerfed' because when you get to round 71 on hard on EVERY map, it just becomes nearly impossible. I have had this for a while on the iPod/iPhone version and beat the whole game on hard! Anyway it's a good game overall.

AWESOME... until it crashes.... LOTS of crashing on my "The New iPad" (I HATE YOU APPLE FOR MAKING ME TYPE THAT). Replaced the iPad for charging issues, and the new one does the same thing. Thankfully when restarting the game, it picks up pretty close to where I left off, but it's still rather annoying. Also pretty irritated that none of my in-app purchases transfer from TD4 to TD4 HD. No way I'm buying it again!

Corrupted since update. This game is a lot of fun and has run great till this last update. It corrupted my current version and now I can not Re-download it. Based on the most current reviews, I am not the only one. It is still a 5 star but the makers need to fix the corrupted file.

What is wrong with this update. So I've had this app since like Christmas and now this update comes out and it wont download when finally the update is complete I find out it reset my level and everything comes up as white rectangles what is wrong with this game!!!!!

Hate it. I think that it is great to know that I just wasted 500 cents. This app is rendered useless after the solstice. The game doesn't load one bit! I can guarantee I will look down on the game until the creators actually try to update the app again and make it WORK! I down loaded it on the 20th and I haven't even got to see a mere level. So the game will be a waste of my time and my money until the creators get off of their butts and try to make an effort to fix the app.

Best TD game ever!. This game is definitely worth your money. I am a crazy tower defense game person and this is the best one by far. The layout is so simple but yet so fun. The updates are great, and ninja kiwi did an awesome job developing this app. So much fun and gives you great enjoyment for hours and hours.

2 things.... Love this game! Very addicting and basically endless (unless you reach level 250) needs a few more maps and the two things it really needs are... 1: sandbox mode 2: challenges modes like on the iPhone Overall great game! Totally worth it!

What is wrong with the app since the new update?????. My kids and I love this game, but since the update came thru last week and never fully downloaded....I had to delete the whole game to make my IPad functional again. What went wrong with the update, and when is it going to be fixed? The free/lite version is very boring!!!!

Download fixed....Five Stars and better with new tower. I have been critical of this team due to download problems. They responded and Bloons TD 4 HD now loads and installs without any problems. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade. Tack tower is very useful in higher bloon flow rates.

FIX THE FREAKING GAME ALREADY!. Now when I try to update it, it immediately closes out of the app store, moves 1 page over to where BloonsTD4 is, and then says it is unable to update at this time. Asks me if I'm done or want to retry. If I hid retry the same notification pops upon my screen once more, twice more, on and on until I select done. It is no hope. The updates have come and gone but the game remains unplayable. I don't want to delete and redownload it, because I'll lose my progress, and I'm not even assured it will work.

Omg. The new challenge you made where you have to beat 50 Moab's was a step In the right direction but it was a little easy (moab maulers and a beacon) With all of these little (and constant) updates I almost fell like you've turned btd4 into a beta for btd5 assuming there will be one :D

Community Feedback. This is the only non-competitive game that I can stare at for seven hours and not lose interest! I complained to the developers about the constant crashing that predated this update, and a few days later, we receive this update. It's great to know the developers have transparency!

Sweet Cheat!. The latest update has a bug that provides an awesome cheat! Go to the new Lasers and Daisies challenge, but exit without redeeming any of the laser monkeys. Then start a new game - the 5 laser monkeys are still available! Place them on the map and then sell them to get enough cash for a banana research facility or two, plus enough money left over for some serious firepower to start the game!

Needs to be updated. Great game. I play it for hours on end. Even have the iPad freeze up. But I only have one problem... It doesn't stay updated. A tower called (I believe) spike factory. Bloons tower defence 5 is now open on the computer. So they are trying to fix that up (even better then td4). But they really need to keep updating this game.

Great but..... I love this app but after I complete one stage and move on to the next all the towers are big white blocks. I then have to restart my iPad and open the app again. It is very frustrating! I hope that you can find a solution soon. Other than that I love this app!

Just one glitch. I was playing and i'm on round 100 or so, I like the fact you can save in free play mode but the game has glitched so every round I move up a rank( which would of happened anyways) but the counter to next level is always 0, and i'm rank 38 and still don't have spike factory, just a little glitch the game is still really fun, I'm not sure if it's worth five bucks though...

Can't download. When I try to download the update it load half way then starts over from the beginning, it does that until a box comes up saying that it cannot download the app. Also the app isn't usable while it is updating. I fixed it by resetting my ipad2 settings then restoring it from a previous update and it brought this app back to its previous version. I don't want to update it again until I know the update is fixed.

Needs something fixed. I don't know about other tracks, but I know the track milk n cookies has a major glitch. Towers, bloons, and all buttons such as pause and options are all represented by white box of pixels. Please fix but other than that it's a must own game.

Fun game. Bloons TD4 is so fun to play and it never gets old (as long as updates are coming),and it is getting addicting. I just wanted to tell the developers that you should make a perk which allows you to have a bank account that you can use to make a loan, deposit and withdraw money. If you had a loan then you would would have to play as many more rounds to pay that money back. It would make the game easier and you would probably make more money! P.S Please add one or more music to the game. The song is very annoying now!

Awesome game. Just like the computer version! You have to get this game. But make the updates faster like the iPhone version and maybe there could be a tower that has the range of the whole map but slow fire rate.

Where the heck. Where the heck are extra tracks I purchased. I had issues downloading your last update and it caused me to have to delete and install the game again. However after I did this I no longer have the extreme maps I purchased. What the heck. I am with others on this when I say that this is a complete rip off if we cannot get back what we already paid for. I expect more from the creators of this game. Very dissapointed customer.

Awesome game!. Amazing game! I do have 1 problem though on the lava lake challenge it says make it to round 45 but I make it passed that round and it just keeps going how do I win it? I've seen others play it on their devices and win it and I do the exact same thing but it doesn't work for me Please fix this problem!

I think I'm to good for this game or........ I'm not sure if this is a bug but every round I do I go up a rank. It tells me every round that I have 0 more bloons to pop. On rank 52 this doesn't make sense. U have to pop about 500,000 bloons on rank 52. If this is a bug or not, plz fix.   

Can't use :(. I updated to the newest update and it worked fine, for just a few days. Then when I tried to open it, it showed the Bloons TD4 screen, and the digital goldfish screen, but then it just closes??? I try un-installing and re-installing, but that didn't work either. So I basically can't use it now Apart from that... Which I obviously hope to be fixed, it's a great game and the bug might just be something with my iPad because I don't see any other reviews like this. Anyways, when I can play again I'll give it 5 stars :)

Great Game. Love the game, so does my wife. Only complaint with new version has to do with the new tower. We play with confirmation building (place tower, hit check mark to buy it) and hitting the check mark adjusts the aiming of the dartling towers. Otherwise I love the continuing app support.

Great!. An amazing game. Whatever sandbox mode is it sounds like it should be added!!! Am now rank 74, and playing on easy for now. Level 122 and it's too easy once you get here with about 55 sun gods!!!! Should try medium..

Good App. This is a good app but I would like to see the ability to transfer inapp upgrades between iPhone/iPad. I shouldn't have to buy them twice. Other wise the constant updates and new maps are wonderful. Also, INAPP UPGRADE needs to be fixed for this version of the app. It's the only one that doesn't work.

Great app, but becomes slow. The game is really addicting, but as you get further into the levels, the game starts to slow a little because of how many balloons are being popped. Around levels 80 and up, the game slows down ridiculously. It's not the app's fault, it's just that the iPad can't process all that's going on fast enough.

Crashes. Just got to rank 80 then updated, now it won't get past splash screen. Tried restarting ipad2 and reinstalling it and still nothing. Kind of upset that I wasted all that time. I had to get up to level 2500 in order to get from rank 76 to 80 Update: the game starts at level 1 with airplane mode turned on but it crashes at splash screen as soon as wifi is back on Had to restart from rank 1. Handful of towers challenge is bugged. I t should stop at 45 but i manage to get to level 74 before I lose.

Let me buy ranks. I got to rank 76, but you have to pop 30,000,000 more bloons to get from there to rank 77! I really want to play the self destruct extreme challenge, but you have to reach rank 80 first. Could you make a way to buy ranks even if you have already unlocked all of the towers and upgrades so that I can unlock the self destruct extreme challenge?

Solution. What you need to do is that u have to go on your computer and download the iTunes update, I had the same problem as all of you but now it works I'm very pleased with the new update!!!

My most played game period. Most games I'll play for an hour or two then either beat it or get bored of it but this I can honestly say I could play this forever cause there is constantly new maps with different modes and difficulties that keep it fun so it is easily the most played game I own!

Improvements. Please add a restart button. To restart now one has to save and quit and hit play again, new game and re-select the track! Also a arrow showing the source and direction of the balloons would be nice. Thank you for a great game, I use it every time I work out!

Highly Addictive. The game runs extremely smooth and the graphics are excellent. A myriad of map choices and challenges make it a perfect game for anyone. I really enjoy the bonus in-game upgrades (makes it easier to complete the more challenging levels). It's almost impossible to put down... I love it; keep it up :D

fix the notifacations please. I have had a glitch where the notifications will restart so if I am on round 50 it will say sometimes: welcome to bloons tower defense 4! On easy, stuff is quite cheep to buy and you have 200 lives. There are 50 rounds to pass

Don't give up!. I also had trouble with the download...it would stop about halfway and restart over and over. Then it finally finished and I got the "white blocks" referred to in another review. After rebooting the whole ipad2, it worked fine!!!!! It is working now, and totally worth the wait. Love this game!

Needs a bug fix for spike factory not ever being available. I am on rank 75 and STILL no spike factory plz fix this bug also it won't give me the Achevement for beating an advanced round on hard to normal difficulty when I beat 2 advanced levels on hard to normal difficulty please fix these bugs this game is awesome it just needs some bugs squashed

Multi player/ splitscreen. This is an amazing game i like to play with my friends but the problem is is there is no split screen for ipad or a blutooth connect play. If you do make balloons multiplayer use the same setup as fruit ninjas split screen. Please and thank you. 4 stars until there is atleast an atempt at this

GARBAGE!. I am an application developer as well. I know sometimes things slip through the cracks and there are errors in coding that need to be fixed. All that said, when a game patch is released and people cant even download it AND it isnt fixed promptly, then there is a BIG problem. My son loved this game when he first got it. Now all it does is sit in my iTunes downloads and is never updated because it is "corruptetd". FIX THIS and start listening to your customers Digital Goldfish, Ltd!!!!
