Can’t use the app. When I opened the app it blank out for a while and then jumped out of the app. Even after I removed the app from memory and restart the iPhone and back I still can’t open the app properly. I feel like the app has too much data and needs to be unload a little. But I wish I can safely remove the data not just brutally uninstall it. Is there a way for it? Also before I had the problem that when I wanted to search on a keyword., the app also crashed . After I removed a lot of the data then I can search again. Looks like I can’t save too much data in it . I wish there is an warning sign for it .

Great notes app. Another wonderful app from Junecloud! Syncs perfectly with my Macs! I look forward to further enhancements from its creator!

GREAT app. Notefile is a down and dirty note taker. Don't waste your time trying the others. This is what you need so get it now. If you receive / send a number of parcels ( UPS FedEx, USPS, etc ) get Delivery Status from the same author, another must have app. Enjoy,

Very Good Ap. Simple and easy to use, but needs An Edit function to move notes for level of importance.

Basic but perfect. I wanted a simple note tool that would sync fast and not take forever like the default app does on my phone. This worked great. I’m working on my masters and I just don’t have time to wait from something to sync from my Mac to my phone at any given moment. This app utilizes the cloud in a much more effectively.

Replaced my notes app. This app works perfectly. I make notes on the Notefile Dashboard widget & it syncs to this app flawlessly. It DOES sync both ways. To/from my iPhone to/from the dashboard widget.

Great app, needs folders. This is just about a perfect app for quickly adding or finding info. But it really needs to add Folders. Please, please add folders. I love its automatic, quick syncing to my iPad, iPhone, Mac.

Minimalism at its finest. I have 1000s of notes and take roughly 10 a day. The app is amazingly responsible, quick to navigate, and overall in my top five of favorite applications. I do have to say that sometimes I'd love the ability to throw a photo in there, or give a note a tag, but I wouldn't want to spoil its simplicity - so I'm conflicted there. Either way, buy this app, it could just change your life :).

Perfect because it's simple. The strength of this app is not in its options list, but it's simplicity. I have evernote for tracking more complicated notes, but sometimes I just want something way more simple and clean for silly little notes I need to jot down. Notefile is perfect for this. It syncs between your laptop, iPad, and iPhone. If you're looking for something with a ton of options, this isn't the app for you. If you're looking for something easy to use, easy to sync, and evernote has just too much going on, this one is perfect.

New Favorite and Most Used App. I picked up Notefile a few months ago and it quickly became my new favorite and most used app. I have it on my iPhone, iPad (in the dock) and MacBook (Assign to All Desktops). The interface is dead simple so it's easy to add notes quickly. iCloud sync is seamless and near instantaneous. No tags or folders, but the search function makes it easy to find the notes I'm looking for. If I need to keep some notes in a more structured format, I can easily 'Open In' iaWriter or Documents 5 or copy/paste to Things or 2Do, but Notefile has become the on-ramp to my personal information highway.

Awesome!. Very simple, looks great and works even better! No syncing issues at all, simple note taking just like notes in a journal. App works seamless with the Mac app as well! Highly recommended!

Nice Surprise. At first, this app seems nothing more then the program notes. But as I use it more I find nicer and nicer additions. The most surprising addition is that TextExpander connectivity is included. This makes jotting quick notes very easy and very simple. I also like being able to use iCloud or the company's servers Junecloud. The connectivity is very fast. After making a note on my iPhone when I arrived home shortly, there it was on the iPad. No problem! A nice addition.

Love Junecloud!. Notefile further continues Junecloud's beautiful aesthetic and design that I've grown to love and appreciate from Delivery Status Touch and the accompanying widget. $4.99 is a small price to pay for beautiful design. Well done, Junecloud!

Useful, but.... The Notefile app offers a clean interface and provides more simplicity than Simplenote. It is updated regularly and maintained by a solid developer. I have experienced certain specific reliability problems with Notefile and perhaps iCloud services. While Notefile syncing usually works, on occasion it consumes 100% of CPU until I force quit from Activity Monitor (on OS X). Everything slows down. This may happen several times on one day or less than every month. It just keeps happening. Junecloud is aware of problem, and has been. As of this date, the problem is not currently resolved. It may affect your enjoyment of this iOS application, especially if you use Notefile on your Mac too.

Much Improved with Update. Notefile 1.1 is a significant improvement over the initial release. Thanks for adding search capability and some helpful gestures. Searching could be even better if the words were highlighted in the notes found. Or, perhaps, adding a search within a note feature.

My Go-To Notes App with Flawless Syncing. This simply beautiful text editor has been my go-to notes application since it’s initial release over two years ago. Fast and easy to use, and the sync feature has never once failed me. I use it every day and it will always have a spot on my home screen.

Needs options to customize. Love the idea of this app. It allows me to keep my information right as my fingertips. I have a total of 12 notes that I update and use on a regular basis. I also use Juneclouds Delivery tracker (LOVE it). When I saw Notefile, I immediately paid the $4.99 and downloaded it since I was so happy with my other purchases from them. I am really disappointed with the lack of options within this app. The absolute only thing you can do with it is input information. You CAN NOT organize them in any way (not by date, alphabetically, etc), no font options, NOTHING. I am a bit bothered that I paid for this app and might as well have used the "Notes" app that comes with the Apple products. When I contacted customer service hoping I was just missing a setting, the response came quick but was not what I wanted to hear: "Unfortunately there is no way to do that at this time". Hope they change their mind and produce an update soon - otherwise there is no reason to purchase this app when you already have one for free.

It's so simple that makes it extraordinarily superb.. It has everything you need: simple and clean UI, seamless syncing, and intuitive ease of use. It would be absolutely perfect if there was a dedicated Mac client (because I'm afraid Dashboard widgets won't be very well supported in Mac OS X Lion).

Getting better with every update. This app is simple and reliable (I'm using iCloud sync between my iOS devices and Mac and never experienced a hiccup) Once you got the hang of the menu and navigation its a breeze. I only wish users could customize choice of fonts and background. Add night mode the ability to pin important notes to the top of the list and this is five stars.

Very nice. Great UI. Simple. One tap to note. If you are looking for a lot of bells and whistles this is not the app for you. If you are looking for a simple, good looking note taking app, get it now. Only negative for me - it is overpriced by $4 - should be $.99.

Fills a gap. NoteFile is a simple app that fills gaps between ToDo lists and more robust apps like Evernote. I have tons of apps and am constantly searching for just the right one. NoteFile allows me to keep track of the many steps I have in my projects. I am a consultant and can be hard to keep track of progress and what I owe to whom. NoteFile is really helping. There is plenty of improvement. You get the most rudimentary interface and no formatting options. Notes are just listed in order of last review. I hope there will be updates to make it a bit more powerful.

The best Syncing dashboard widget!. Ok, iCloud doesn't sync dashboard widgets any longer and I use 2 macs often and I love me some stickies and this app is perfect and its counter part for the os x dashboard is the best. I love that I can change my notes on my iPhone and it will show up on my dashboard on both of my computers. If you miss os x dashboard sync then I would highly recommend this!

So Useful. This application is so great! I have been using Simplenote but when I noticed Junecloud was making this I knew it would provide a hassle free syncing experience and great design. This will not disappoint. The biggest additions I can think of would be: 1) Ability to sort your list alphabetically 2) Ability to pin most used lists to the top Great just the way it is though!

Another great app from Junecloud!. Been using Deliveries for years and Notefile is a wonderful addition to my iPad, iPhone and Mac! Keep them coming!

Old Yeller Notes has met it's match.. This notes app is as simple and as powerful as iOS notes, but has a clean look that's easy on the eyes. There are minimal features to get in the way of just writing. The index easily flicks out of the way to give full-screen attention to the note you're working on. + Automatically syncs with iCloud and has a Mac version and Dashboard Widget. + Full text search + TextExpander support + Hold on note in Index to share by Twitter, Facebook, Message, Mail or to copy + Send note to any app that supports iOS text send + No titles to type, just start writing.

Over-Prices, Useless if you have Mac and iPhone. This app is extremely overpriced. I wish there was a way to get my money back. Honestly, it's exactly like the very old version of the Notes app on your iPhone and Mac. Notes has been updated and I extremely like it, although I still use Evernote which I can password protect and use Touch ID. But please please, if you already have an iPhone or Mac, don't lose your money. :'(

Best app hands down. One of best apps that I have on my iPad, iPhone, and iMac. Syncs flawlessly and immediately. Has never, ever crashed. For simple notes, it's the best.

Effortlessly the best notes app on iOS. Everything has been thought through down to the last detail; including swipe gestures, clean design, and an entire syncing-suite to accompany. This is the best notes app by far... I should know, I own all of them. ;)

Great little app!!. This is a great app for inputting text and then sending to another app via the Share menu. In this sense it’s similar to Drafts but simpler to use. Two big pluses 1) support for TextExpander and 2) syncing across devices through iCloud or their own proprietary server (which is very reliable and works well). I would give it five stars but encountered some minor bugs in screen refresh, but nothing serious. Don’t overlook this app!

Won't sync both ways. I purchased Notefile so that I could sync notes both ways between my Mac and iPad. I bought a license for each, but then realized the app only syncs one-way: from Mac to iPad. This is a problem since I often travel with the iPad, write and change notes, but when I return, am unable to sync my changes back to my Mac. I feel this product was misrepresented and it's useless to me unless it syncs both ways. If this is a bug in the latest version, it needs to be fixed ASAP!

Notefile. This is a fabulous app. I love it & use it all the time. It keeps so many things hand at my fingertips no matter where I am across all my devices. I would give it five stars if it had a way to keep all of the notes alphabetized all of the time.

Great but.. I bought this because you can do calculations without leaving the app but would like to be able see the problem as well as the solution after the calculation.

PERFECT app for notes. I've tried so many different apps for notes and none of them had the aesthetic, functionality, and ease of use that Notefile does! I will be getting this for my Mac as well. thanks for a great product!

notefile rocks!. I love the syncing between Dashboard, my iPhone, and my iPad. The UI is beautiful, and the sync is transparent (just like Delivery Status). Apple should have built this into their system from the beginning.

Simple, Minimalist, Solid. A go-to app for me when I need to make a quick note. Nothing in the way. Exemplary design. Would like to see options to change background color and remove time stamp. Kudos to developer on really getting "less is more."

Good start.. This could be a great app. I'll change my rating if more features are added. Needs a passcode. Needs different fonts and also be able to size the font to what you like. Other than that I love it. The syncing works like a charm.

Beautiful & fast. Another update! now tappable links. Keep the simplicity! I have other note apps with more options but this is my go- to app for quick entry. Very nice PC users make sure you go to junecloud web site, bookmark and create desktop shortcut. Your own apple icon on PC!

Help. When I highlight text the app crashes. I didn't have this problem until latest update which is supposed to fix this problem? Can I undo the update. Please fix. Best note app on the store. I have try several apps but i always stick with notefile , only complaint i have is that until these date still no password lock option specially because with these kind of app if someone mess with your stuff in 1 device it will end screwed in all your device ! Plzzzzz add password support.

Why did I buy this?. OK, I am confused. After reading the reviews (and I'm a big fan of Deliveries), I purchased this on the reputation of the developer. But I can't figure out why this App exists. It seems to be merely a copy of the native Apple Notes App. About the only thing it does different is Calculate. (And I can't imagine that justifies the price tag!) Can anyone enlighten me?

Replaced the Built in Notes App. It works just like the notes app that is built in, but looks way better. Syncs thru iCloud. Also has a Mac version so my notes are every where I need.

Having Trouble. UPDATED: I finally figured out what the problem was on my own and how to get the note I’m working on to close. So y’all get 4 stars from me! UPDATE: I finally and accidentally got it to close for me. I still don’t know what in the heck I did to get it to close!!! I’m not adding stars until/unless I hear from a human connected and this app. BTW - I rebooted my iPhone and after that is when I finally did what I needed/wanted it to do! ——————————————————————- I like the app but I’m having trouble with it. I typed a note in the app and I can’t get it to let me close out of the note. I close the app and when I open it back the note is still there and open. I think that Apple and the App Store should require all developers and sellers in their store to give customers at least a 10 day free trial of their apps instead of allowing them to make customers purchase the app in order to download and try it out to see if it’s what they want and if it will work for their needs. But no, we have to buy it before we can try it out and then if it’s not what we expected, won’t meet our needs, etc., we have to jump through hoops to get a refund! So far you’re getting one star from me. I had to pay $4.99 + tax (I think on the tax) for this app that I can’t get to close a note like it’s supposed to. I need to hear from somebody helping me with this problem. Then I may update and add stars to this review.

Not right. I had already paid for the Notefile app. I should not have to pay $3.00 to download it again. I do not want the other app!! I should have a choice.

Nice Simple App but needs a search feature. Very easy to use and simple. I like the interface. However, it is lacking a search feature which is the main reason for digital based notes.

Great app!. I switched to Notefile after other note apps had syncing issues. This one is great. Very stable sync across different versions of iOS and OS X. I use it on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Great note taking app with 2 big mistakes. Please change those abnormal Terms of Services! Who wants to use the app when everything that one writes is copyrighted by your startup?! And by the way, $5 is too much. Your app really is a great app to take notes with, but with those two mistakes it is more or less useless.

Stable and reliable. This app doesn’t generate a lot of buzz which is a shame because it is simply the best quick notes app out there. I have used Notefile since it was a Dashboard Widget on OSX and it has consistently been the most stable app I have ever used. When you are entrusting your important info to an app stability is the most important feature, and it’s the one it excels at.

Awesome, love the gesture support. Absolutely love this app on the mac and iPhone. Love the gestures to push you back one list. The other complaints about the terms and condition only apply to JuneSync and not the iCloud sync that it comes default with. I called their tech support and they were incredibly nice and took the time to explain the difference and what the terms really meant by it. So your notes are safe, since they are on Apple's servers, not June's.

Finally a great alternative to Mail notes. I had been using Apple's Mail notes on my mac and syncing with MobileMe, which was working out fairly well, until I started using Sparrow on my Mac for mail and it became much less of a convenience to open Mail just for notes. Junecloud seems to have taken the success of Delivery Status (which I also love) and applied it to notes by making a dashboard widget companion, which I've always felt is a much more elegant solution for notes than a full-blown app. The iPhone app is also a great replacement for Apple's Notes; it's simple, beautiful, and has an icon that is main homescreen worthy, which makes all the difference. The syncing seems to work great so far, as it always has for Delivery Status. Great work, Junecloud!

Perfect. Been using this app for years for keeping notes on my budgeting, bills and spending. It's a real ol' faithful. Simple, easy to use, nicely designed, reliable. I use other notes apps for different things, but Notefile is perfect for me. I love it long time.

KISS Keep it Simple... Sometimes the smaller apps are great. Do not need exhaustive search functions, Or hash labelling or picture input Or share to social media.. Although one feature I think they have removed is cut and paste.. Just keep it small, and solid with the ability to do the job it was made for year after year after.. Well done.

Just What I Need!!. Was looking for a good cloud based note app. This one is perfect. Automatically syncs with my MacBook without me having to save. Simple and very easy to use. Well done. Wish there was bold and italics though. UPDATE: Finally!!!! Hyperlinks within notes!!!

Once again, Junecloud delivers!. Just like Delivery Status, Notefile should be included with every iOS device. Notefile should be the default note taking app. It's both simple & beautifully functional.

my favourite app for taking notes. This app has been my favourite note-taking app for a number of years. I especially appreciate the widget on my mac dashboard. Simple, bare bones design provides only what I need and nothing extra. Never once had any issues syncing between devices. Absolutely no complaints.

Excellent to keep iPad and iPhone in sync for your notes on the go. I've tried free note apps and have paid plenty for most other note keeping apps. Note file is the best. What it like most is the syncing that takes place automatically between the iPhone and iPad. It's pleasant to the eye also. Just type in your notes and close the app and you will find it in sync when you open the app on your other device.

Useless application .. ever. i just lost 4,99$ on a useless application they was same then the stock note application on your iphone dont buy "Notefile" stay with note

Beautiful Application & Cloud Idea - - Perfection!. I support JuneCloud. I am not affiliated in any way just need to make that clear. However, they have yet again proved what a great application is about for the iOS. What makes it even better is that they build it ready for all iOS's. You maybe paying 4.99...but you get it across all platforms. I have rated this application 4 out of 5 because I would like to see more customization to the application ie. colours, background. I wish the elastic band was left in the very far left inside the app for more pleasant look and feel. I know the app is great as it is. But definitely that would of been pleasing to the eye to have. It would be cool to have some calm music playing in the background something simple and zen. Nothing bloated but just right. Other than that it is yet another great application from JuneCloud and I would recommend it to any user. I love the fact that from the very beginning before all these "dropbox" places that allow you to sync your notes and files. JuneCloud has been doing it since their "Delivery Status" days and now they combine it with "NoteFile". Love it. I do not need additional accounts as it comes integrated with your original "Delivery Status" account. I did not think twice about picking this application up because I know the developers behind this application only delivery on quality and their heart and soul. The Best so far.. Note file is the best Web base note taking Application for the iPad And iPhone. It works very fluent and it is very reliable. I will recommend it to all.

Excellent. Excellent, dependable app - does what it says and syncs nicely to a companion Mac OSX app. Perfect for jotting down simple notes, etc. If you're not looking for fancy features (folders, tags, to-do integration, etc) this app is great.

Almost Perfect! Except..... I really love this app, I think it's great that it syncs with all my Apple devices. I love that it puts my most recently opened notes at the top of the list, this is also a great feature! My one complaint is that it is kind of boring... I would like to see different templates, customizable fonts and at least an option to have lined 'paper' that make reading the notes easier. Add this feature and I give this app 6 stars out of 5! Would love to see this update....

So AMAZING!!!. 1.15.22 Still an app I use every single day! It’s not organized and neat anymore, but that’s what the search function is for! I imagine I have at least 500 separate “files.” I put everything in this Notefile. Recipes, grocery lists, daily tasks, just to remember things I might forget, clips from Internet articles I want to quickly find! There are not many apps I can say I use daily, especially for years and years… but this is one of them! Never any bugs, just simple perfection. Still loving it! Past review- many years old…. Really love this little app. So very simple yet so powerful! I use it to just write down little tid bits I need to remember. I also use it to make lists for the grocery store. I have several different "folders" that each have there own important info in them. I must say, for such a "simple" app- I use it almost daily! I have tons of other note taking apps but this is one of my favorites for simple things. It's also neat that you can add an icon by the title... Makes it a little more fun. Good job! Thank you for such a useful app!

Draconian terms of use. I don't want to grant Junecloud a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free (etc.) right to use any content or ideas I upload to their servers. Waste of $5.

A bit too minimal. I appreciate the speed. But the web interface needs a search function.

rite to left formatting formatting. this is a perfect app for taking notes and sync with Mac app as well as the dashboard widget. but as the title clarifies, it does't support right to left formatting.

Beautifully Simple - needs work on iPad Pro. I've used this app for years on my iPhone, iPad and Mac and love it. If you plan to use this on your iPad Pro with the apple ipad keyboard you will be frustrated.

Plea to Devs. Please DO NOT update the UI to your beautiful and simple app to meet the iOS7 groupthinking that other devs have seemed to fall prey too. I've seen enough WHITE with THIN FONTS to last me a lifetime. What you have here is excellent just the way it is. It's just OK (for now anyways). Pros---it syncs with the phone, pad and computer. Cons--- somewhat complicated to use, small print, simplistic in nature, lousy terms of service, very expensive for what you get.

Unable to sync with iCloud. Love most of their products but this one did not work. I attempted to remedy by doing all of the suggested methods to get a good sync but unfortunately I cannot get it to work at all. Am waiting for tech support to help me but no answer as of yet, if they can correct will update review

Too expensive for what it does. This is too expensive for what it does! In my opinion the ability to create folders ( which it does not have) doesn't defy the minimalistic goal. Also when you're in a note, it doesn't show when the note was created. All the above are attributes you can find in the native notes of Apple. The option to show in menu bar is nice though. All in all this should've been an one dollar app.

Very good for my needs. I wanted a no nonsense iOS/OSX note app for capturing quick notes/thoughts. This does that perfectly. Improvements: 1. Get rid of yellow paper, skeumorphic elements (at least give the option in settings). 2. Navigating to the notes list is not natural (tapping the note count) use a home icon or list icon. 3. Better if controls (nav, new note) were at top of screen.

Wieder sehr nützlich. Nach "Lieferungen" die zweite sehr nützliche App, die sich herrlich über Macs, iPad und iPhone synchronisiert. Super wäre eine Sortiermöglichkeit und Einbindung in die Spotlight-Suche.

iCloud Sync Does Not Work Properly. Don’t waste your money like I just did! I got this app to as a simple note app just because it also had a mac app. Unfortunately, does not work as advertised. It syncs only one way - from iphone/ipad to my mac. Does not sync at wall to either my iphone or iPad

Fix please!. The app quits every time I try to paste anything in a new note!

Won't sync via icloud. Over the first week of ownership of this app it went from very cool to ice cold. Simply does not sync ... Notes on all my iOS and MacOS devices are different. It was syncing fine ... Then my mini got cut from the NoteFile herd and would not sync... As of yesterday none of my devices are syncing. Sad because the simple elegance of this sync'd note app was a great idea.

Great app!. Delivery app from Juno was always one of highest quality apps I've used. When I saw they released this I got it asap.

Fantastic!. Simple and logical. JuneCloud syncing is flawless. I think my only recommendation would be that the UI be updated with a sleeker modern look.

Gorgeous, but too basic.. I love simplicity and a well-honed visual aesthetic, so this app seemed a no-brainer. But it needs at least a few more features to be useable as my day-to-day notes app: (1) Drop-box support (2) A way to sort / rearrange notes (3) Password protection (4) A way to archive deleted notes (5) Folders - grouping notes (ToDos, Journal, etc.) would be ace.
