Just like the real thing. I have an hp 11c and this is basically the same although without the tactile buttons. But it does have integral and zero solving which is great for my physics class!

Loved it while it worked. I loved this app, until the iOS update, when it stopped working. After noticing the last update was 3 years ago and not receiving a reply after emailing the developer’s support email twice, I presume the developer has abandoned this app. This was not a cheap app. I expected more from the developer.

My 11C finally crashed. I’m so relieved that I can now have my scientific reverse Polish calculator on my phone. So far I’ve not found any problems, it seems familiar like the physical version and I’m very happy.

Latest upgrade,. Finally got it back on my IPad and iPhone. Use it daily in addition to my HP45. Thanks for upgrading the app.

Great Tool. Works just as good as the original. And as long as I have my phone it is with me and ready to go!

Five Stars Again. After the app had stopped to work a while ago due to an iOS update, the developers finally delivered a version that work ms again on the latest release of iOS. This is the 2nd best calculator - the best bring my real HP 15C. If you know how to use the original calculator, you will be able to use this app as well. It behaves just like the real deal. To the developers: Please make sure that the app keeps on working through any future operating system updates.

Just like college. The HP 15C got me through four years of computer science, physics and electrical engineering. This is the same and it’s programmable just like the 15C. Cool beans.

Fixed. This app has been dead on my iPhone for a long time... I never deleted it because I was so hopeful that the maker would fix the bugs after the iOS updates some time ago. Thank you for fixing it, it’s my favorite HP emulator and works great again.

Favorite 15C Emulator. Have been using for years, it is my favorite 15C Emulator for iOS. Was disappointed when it stopped working entirely after an iOS 13 update. Tried some other emulators again but none are as good as this one was. Thanking the developers for their ongoing development and making a bug fix for this to work again in iOS 13. Salute!!!

Great HP15C Emulator. Before you buy this app ensure you do research and understand the features, complexities and limitations of the HP15C. This emulator is a faithful rendition of the good old vintage HP15C advanced scientific calculator. Those of us who own or have owned the HP15C will appreciate the convenience of having this on the iPhone as a replacement or backup. Recommended.

Reliable through four years of use. Same as college days. Reverse Polish notation is the best. If you loved the device, this app is for you.

Just like daddy's. Actually, just like the one I packed to work at LLNL for much of my carrier. I still have a couple of them, but this one is just handier. Except for the slight wobble of the keys, this one is identical.

Either I use this one or the real 15C. This app is great works just as expected. I love my HP 15Cs. Started using the 15 see you about 25 years ago. I still have it and often use it. The nice thing about this app is I have my 15 C wherever I go. I’m so glad they created this app

Works exactly like my hardware 15C. This is a great app that works like my hardware version. I used the 15C long before this app existed but find I now log more time on this iPad version. I recommend this app without hesitation.

It's 1984 again!. I was an engineering grad student back then. Loved the 15C then and still do. I still have my 15C and documents! Fully operational. But I use the app more than the physical calculator. Great job!

Excellent App and Sci Calc. This is an excellent app and HP 15C Scientific Calculator. I teach AP Calculus BC, and I use it often for my calculations. The user interface is clear and accurate, and the calculations are accurate. Highly recommended.

If you like the original HP calculator, you will love this. I use this more than anything else on my phone. The app functions beautifully.

It's 1984 again. I bought this a few years ago, but am only now rating it. I'm a professional engineer. This puts my trusty HP-15c ALWAYS in my pocket. 2019 & the product is bricked by the iOS 13 update. This’d be understandable for a free product, but this app was released many years ago, at ~$50. Which was exorbitant, but justifiable since it put an indispensable tool into a device one always carries and (TBH) is probably used by tens of thousands at best. Which is enough lucre for the developer to keep it from bricking. They’ve done so with the 12C (more popular; much cheaper). Maybe they’ll update; maybe not. If you’re considering this app: (1) Perfect emulation. Better than HP’s! (2) occasionally bricks, with no certainty they’ll fix it & (if they do) it’s a loooow priority.

Happy days. Love this app. Brings back fond memories of being in e-school in the 1980s. I spent more time with my 15C than with humans. Great app that recreates all its functionality. Now if only they could get that nice firm click feel when I hit the buttons.

Maybe add Haptic. I really like this calculator. It would be nice to have haptic feedback upon key press. This would help knowing that a number is pressed and not double pressed

Works like the old fashioned RPN calc. It even has the sound like an hp calc when you press the keys. Well executed app.

Works like my 15C. This app works just like my 15C that I bought decades ago. I'm pleased with this app. Once or twice it has locked up but all I had to do was quit and restart the app. Update (2019) - This app quit working after my iPhone updated to iOS 13. I emailed the developer asking if they were going to make an update so it would work on the new iOS version, but have not received a response. It appears that the app has not been updated in over 3 years. Is it abandoned?

Great simulation of a great calculator. Have owned an HP-15C since 1983 during engineering school. Still have it and use it regularly, but when I don't have it with me this is the next best thing. Everything but the feel of those worn keys. Great ap!

Worked till iOS 13. Great calculator app, just like the real calculator. However, in iOS 13, it crashes when you start it up, so until an update is released, it is broken. Please fix!

Works w/latest upgrade. I had been using a different 15c app, but this app-which I already had gotten, I suppose, DOES work with the latest upgrade. I am still getting accustomed to the ‘look.’ It’s a bit shiny-like a brand new HP15C-I can’t remember that far back can you? But I can’t calculate with any other system. Mostly I have done simple math, but you can’t beat that back arrow key once you are deep into a stack. Speaking of which I have to give a shout out to my brilliant Principles of Finance professor. As we were working in class I said, “Where is the formula?” He said, “You don’t need the formula.” Our agreement had been that I could use my 15c (instead of the calc they suggested) as long as he didn’t have to help me put it into my calculator. All I said was, “I need to see the formula to put in the stack.” The man not only knew the exact page off of the top of his head, but since my 15 C would give ever so slightly different answers than the ‘suggested’ calculator, as he came around to me in the class he would tell me exactly what number I should have. He did all the math in his head while teaching the rest of the class. I couldn’t ask for a better business professor! I learned so much more from him than how to press people’s buttons. Go Cougars!

Don‘t get unless you know the specific calculator. I was just looking for a good calculator that works well and has advanced functions. Now I’m sure this is a great app for people who are used to this particular calculator, but for anyone else it’s just too frustrating to try and figure out how to do even basic math like +-*\ A fair warning that this uses very nonintuitive inputs would have been nice. Or let people try it before having to pay. I’m a student and have very little money to waste on trying calculator apps.

They Finally Fixed it. it stopped working beginning with ios13. Couldn’t find a better 15C emulator in the meanwhile. Some of the alternatives had reviews indicating wrong results, so I went to the Apple calculator. Low and behold, after many months Vicinno INC caught up with revisions. Damage already done to their star rating though.

Works for me. As is the case with many others, I switched because my old 15C emulator stopped working after an iOS upgrade. This one works for me just fine. I’m very grateful to the developer for keeping the 15C alive.

It just works - again!. I write a review a while ago, that this just works, and that’s exactly perfect. This is a great emulation of the venerable hp15c. For quite a while, it would not launch - it would crash on launch. But all is well now. I had several programs I had put into it a while ago, and they are still there and working well!

Best 15C app out there. As well as being affordable, this app seems to properly save the state of the calculator, including programs and registers, when the program is stopped or the IPhone rebooted. The free app and HP’s overpriced official version do not, a disqualifying flaw. Who wants to re-enter their programs whenever their device reboots? No flashing display after running a program, a silly uncorrected bug in HP’s app. Plus, this one has a well-done portrait mode and an excellent help that includes the full manual. The key clicks sound good and are switchable from within the app. Haptic feedback capability would be nice. Programs seem to run somewhat slower, but that may be eye candy so the “running” display can be displayed for a second or two during program execution. Feels much like the original. Love it.

Finally fixed bugs. Didn’t work for iPhone X. So annoying. Finally fixed the bug and working great now. Thank you for updating. I was despairing that it would never be fixed after silence for nearly 3 years.

Mr RPN. This app works just like it should. It used to be that when someone pulled out their 15C in a meeting I suddenly knew they were a compatriot! But five years ago my beloved calculator stopped working, and I even talked to my HP Rep about getting another (after denial cane bargaining) but he assured me they were a thing of the past even for HP employees. Thank goodness they live on in smart phones!

I use this app everyday. One of my all-time favorite apps. I owned the physical calculator back in the day, and now I have it back again. People like me, who use calculators daily, will greatly appreciate this app.

Great emulator!. Try this on your calculator: (-.5!) then hit or "=". The flashing display means the calculator is executing the wrong algorithm. It should evaluate to the sq. rt. of π. This app has the fine details that made the HP15C a classic. I knocked off one star just because the latest update tends to lock up the first time it's opened. Just restart.

Works Great...Control Center Coming?. Now my iPhone is complete! Now if I could only add it to the Control Center life world peace would be achieved!

This app worked well with iPhone & iPad until iOS 13+. I used this app on my iPhone & iPad until the iOS 13+ updates. After the updates, the app opens to the opening screen, “Viccino 15C Scientific Calculator” briefly and closes. The last update for this app was 3 years ago. It looks like it’s due for another update.

No longer works with latest ios. Love this app but iit quit working when I downloaded the latest ios.

HP 15 C emulator. I still treasure my 15C from the mid-1980s and now I can have it on my iPhone. I still have my HP manual with the programs for TVM. Simple to program the 100 or so lines into this app and the 15C is also a 12C! Excellent app!

Please add Programs Storage/Retrieval. This is the best HP 15C emulator. Behaves and feels just like the real one. Anyhow, taking advantage this is an emulator and considering the original 15C could not store/save programs (i.e. you have to retype a full program each time you switch programs)l, PLEASE add programs storage/retrieval capability! This is a must.

64-Bit Support?. This is my go to portable calculator, I own an old HP-45 & 15C but no battery for either so I relied on SCI-15c which was discontinued and went with Vicinno 15c which was updated for iPhone 6 screen. Used it a lot lately to modify a redesign analog FSK modem (along with Excel) and would be lost without it. I hope Vicinno plans to update to 64-bit for iOS 11 or I will have to buy HP app which will be the third time I have purchased. Thank you for keeping HP-15c alive!

Nonfunctional DO NOT RECOMMEND. The 15C has worked up until recently. Now when I open program there is a very quick view of what I will call a cover sheet for the app. It goes by too fast to read. Then the app closes. I tried deleting and reinstalling app, but the same problem exists. iOS is up to date. I do not recommend this app.

HP-15C worlds best calculator. This app won my day ! I have missed this calculator over a year. Since my 15C bought in 1983 died last year. Works just like my actual calculator did. Thank you for creating this app. It will be most used app on my iPhone 5S

Great app. I have an original HP 15C but when I need a decent calculator, I tend to use this app rather than dig it out and load the batteries. This does a fine job. I like the optional vertical format for quick calcs . Nice job. Thanks.

Next Best Thing. This is a excellent recreation of the greatest calculator ever made. If I can go back in time I would have a stockpile of HP-15C’s. Since I cannot, this clearly the next best thing. Love this app.

Not functional. I have an iPhone 16. With the phone position sideways the calculator works excellent. My rotate vertical the image does not rotate. Also, there’s no access to settings as shown in the pictures. Lastly, it’s very difficult to close the app to move to something else. The normal swipe doesn’t work.

Broken after iOS 13. As everyone else is reporting, this app is non-functional after iOS 13 update. Unfortunately, I did not read enough reviews to discover this before purchasing today. I have emailed the developer, but I suspect I won’t hear back, since this seems to be the common result. I’ll be asking Apple for a refund.

Stuck in RAD?. g DEG 60 COS I get -.95, the RAD answer. But RAD is not on the display. What am I doing wrong? How do I get to degrees? g DEG does not seem to work. This is my only known question on my beloved 15C app. Thank you!!

App is awesome. Fantastic app. Can of paint poured in my trusty 15C and killed it. Suffered for a few yrs till this app came along and saved my sanity. Used it sense it first came out. Once you go reverse polish there's no going back. Thanks.

Sweet!. Loved my HP15C when I was a tech at LLNL. Had a program for everything you can think of. Thank goodness for RPN. To this day, I can't get through a calculation involving more than 2 numbers with a standard "equal sign" calculator. Well done! Update—crashes upon opening with iOS 13. Bummer!

Versio 2.3 did not fix the bugs in 2.0. It seems that Viccino stopped maintaining this paid app. A real shame. The problems in version 2.0 are still present in 2.3: rotation problems, no settings, no back page and display half calculator when in portrait mode. Please try again. I used to love this calculator.

Not working after iOS upgrade. I think there is something fundamentally wrong when a paid app stopped working after iOS upgrade and several weeks have passed without the developer providing a fix. Very frustrating.

PROBLEM!! Not even one star should be given. I’d love to write a review, but it won’t open. I touch the icon and it opens to the title screen, then abruptly boots me back out. My phone is up-to-date. Is the app? It doesn’t even get a star.

Faithful Emulation of the Real Thing. After running a number of comparisons between this emulator and a real HP-15C, I am impressed by the faithfulness of the emulation. The program must be using the physical calculator's actual ROM. Well done.

Not for iOS 13. I used to love this app. It’s really a great simulation of my old 15C. Unfortunately the latest version, 1.89, which is several years old, doesn’t work with iOS 13.

Worked great until iOS 13. This was a great app until iOS 13 was installed. Now the app opens briefly, then closes. It has been rendered useless by the new OS. 5 stars before update. Zero stars now.

Was perfect no longer works on iPad. Please update this app, maybe add a bigs reel feature to iPad. Even if no features are added as long as it works again I will change rating to a 5.

Used to be Just like having a new 15C. Updating: this app is my go to, Ive used it a lot. Now is is DEAD with the last OS update. I need it back, so bummed for now. Button clicks. Yuck!. No setting to turn off button clicks as if ios10. Yuck! Most annoying feature. Only solution is the silent switch which you must then remember to re-enable. Amazing how one feature ruins the experience. Please add a setting.

Excellent emulation. I have two Hewlett-Packard Packard HP 15C calculators (hardware), but this emulation has become my go to calculator. Very pleased with this!

HP15C. Great calculator. Have always used HP RPL calculators. Only issue I experience is the app only comes up after several tries. Otherwise I’d have given 5 stars.

Fantastic App - does not work under IOS 13.1.2. I’ve been using this app for a couple of years and rely on it. Just upgraded to latest IOS and now the app starts and then disappears. Tried re-boot iPhone X and deleting and re-installing app. Nothing works.

Have to have internet. I don’t like Calc apps that require an internet connection to work. I was in Ukraine and wanted to use this app but it kept on giving me a message internet connection required to start up app. So I deleted it.

IOS 13 broke it. Blink and you'll miss it. App starts to start and then then stops starting and stops, well actually, it just disappears. Tried deleting the app and reinstalling, but same problem. Please fix this. Five stars until iOS 13.

Good HP 15C Calculator. The Vicinno 15C is accurate emulator of the venerable HP scientific 15C. This app is as easy to use as the actual physical calculator. Highly recommended.

Does Not work with iOS 13.x. Don’t buy this if you want something that works with the latest iOS. It was a great 15C emulation before but now it’s useless, wont get past the splash screen before closing.

HP-15C. Normally this app is flawless however after the recent iOS upgrade to 13.1.2 the app only shows the splash screen and crashes. How can I fix this?

IPhone 13.1.2 Broke the 15C app. Used this regularly until the latest IPhone update and then it quit Usually flashes Viccinno and then closes, but on my IPad it locked the screen and I had to force a restart to recover.

Switch to “menu” screen appears to bring up the calculator, but accessing the “help” screen, calculator totally locks up, can’t get rid of “help” screen. Bottom line: Still not working. 29-Dec-19: Add my name to the others who have complained that the app stopped working for iOS 13. As of the December update, app wouldn’t work at all.
