Finally!!!!. It took about a year and a half but finally it works again! Not only is it good for mixing but I also use it to speed up songs and to shorten songs that are too long.

the Bishop. This is the best app to learn quickly how to mix record and playback songs. Usability makes sense. Best for use when no other equipment available. I would really like it if this program could be connected into a large-scale controller. I really enjoy this ap and have recorded over 50 songs. I would recommend to anyone getting started.

Why?. This is a good app, I use it to make Taylor Swift act like a guy in her 1989 album but updated in 2013? Why? I would keep updating it because it is really good. I would give it 5 stars if it was updated recently but it wasn't. Works great on my iPhone 6S

Add Bluetooth or AirDrop. Great App but needs Bluetooth Capabilities....if this app does have Bluetooth (and I don't know what I'm doing wrong) please help, thank you!!!!

Please get sound cloud back!. I’ve used this app for almost 8 years, and it has worked great and is one of my favorite and best designed apps ever. Unfortunately the new update has gotten rid of SoundCloud and I can’t use most of my music now. Please find a way to get it back or update us if you can get it back because I love this app so much and really appreciate your work!!

Doesn’t load songs with iOS 11. Wish this thing would work. I was excited to get it. Please work out the details and I’ll change my review. I try loading the songs from my list and it just spins on loading. Thanks

Great, But....... It would be better if it was able to work with Music Download Apps throughout the App Store; even other music apps period. Other than that it's a good app

Nice app. Only thing I see wrong is you should be able to listen to one turn table while u have the other one playing to find ur cue instead of just by visualizing it

It was a good app until new software update on my iPhone. This app really needs an update. I see the last update was 2 years ago. It has glitches that the dj table is twice the size it normally is, because of that you can’t see the switches and buttons on the screen because the records are covering it. I like this app so please update it.

I recommend it. Simply the best, there's always more we can do in the every growing world of entertainment. This App is for the new and the experienced. I do not lie.

BIGCUPINTHEBX. I’ve used this app for a while now and it’s suits my needs perfectly. For it to only be a mobile app on a iPhone cant say I have any major complaints at all. When is the upgraded version coming out has it been released already?

Needs a patch/update. I used to love this app and used it all the time to find samples. But a few years ago there was a glitch that makes the turntables blocked by a random texture that covers the whole right side and you are unable to see the fader, volume, and tempo switches so I stopped using it. It’s a greats app they just need to fix it instead it being abandoned like it was.

App. Good app that is a lot of fun. Freezes at points but it looks like they finally updated some bugs

Next Upgrade: Bluetooth Capabilities. The only other upgrade I can think of would be the ability to use this app with a Bluetooth speaker or Bluetooth enabled A/V receiver! What will it take to get THAT upgrade? Now THAT'S how you rock a party 'til the break of dawn!!!

a real dj setup. there are some nicer ones for the iPad but this the nicest iPhone I have seen - it only took them a year but the finally updated it

Doesn't work for the iPhone 5. It crashes every time I use it and the mixes I record always disappear so if you have the 5 like I do I would just not get this one and look elsewhere but other than that it works pretty well for older devices.

Please update this app. I used to use this app so long ago and it was amazing but now its really outdated and i miss it so pls update for ios 14:)

Great but.... Can you guys please make it to where the music will play in the background while on another app. I really love this DJ app but I don't like how the music stops when you get out of the app

Used to be great now annoying. Never update anything so we can't blame that! App won't see any of my library to load songs anymore. Why?!?

Great game. One bug though, i have cloud music disabled on my device and the tap dj still shows all the songs i dont want anymore...that and some of the songs i have are in the wrong format. Other than that its very fun and addicting

Tap DJ. Great! No problems so far, except for one: sometimes when Tap DJ gets stuck, I press the home button, try to click on Tap DJ, but nothing happens.

Miss the app. New iPhones do not support this app, please update it so I can use it again

App needs another Update. I brought this app years ago. Works GOOD! When they finally updated it, the image is pushed together too close when you can’t control the volume & speed. Also doesn’t work on Bluetooth….

From bad to good. I originally got this app a year ago when i had the iPhone 4 but deleted it after one of those updates it would only play music purchased from iTunes #Fail I got the iPhone 5 and re-downloaded it to see if I could play all my mp3s and hallelujah!!! It can play any and every song on my iPhone. With that said this is the best dj app EVER!!!!!

Love this app!. I use two this same app on two devices and bounce recordings back and forth. Keep an eye out for my mix tape! Lol, jk.

Please update. This is the last DJ app that allows you to really mess with music in cool ways that doesn’t charge ridiculous subscription. It doesn’t work properly with new iOS or Bluetooth please update this app it’s great.

It's pretty good.... Update: Promised new skins for a few years! This app has been abandoned by the developer. I hardly use it anymore but there are occasions where I use it and wish it had more functions. Original review: Works very well but more features could be added... A couple of suggestions would be: Better skins with larger buttons.. Or a configurable UI? Independent loops that don't tie up the main tracks, as push buttons on the panel For true mobility, I'd like to see wifi or bluetooth remote control for other i-devices. That would make this app even better!

Needs an Update. Updated to iOS 13 and the screen’s changed. The scratch table is oversized and it’s impossible to slide the bars to change the volume and speed now. Needs another update.

Great app, a few bugs. This app works great for playing music 95% of the time. However, there are a few bugs that need to be fixed. Sometimes when selecting a song the app pauses the song playing for a second. Also, the app just randomly crashes sometimes too. Overall, a great app that just needs a few bug fixes.

very cool app. This is one of the cooled apps in the store. I can spend hours mixing the music from my phone.

No Soundcloud. The app promised access to millions of songs on SoundCloud but it always says there’s a connectivity error...even when you actually do have a strong internet connection. I’ll change my rating as soon as the developers fix this major problem

Perfect. Could use like a glow, neon, TRON Legacy based theme with the red or blue colors. Also other equipment should be available. Other than this, it's the perfect app for me, considering I am a DJ

Fun but Glitchy. The only DJ app I've bought. I'm still getting used to finding where everything is located. I'd like to see a drum pad on the deck. However, more importantly, if like for the app to not boot me off; in the middle of a sesh. Other than that, it's a great app. Especially , for price.

Needs iPhone 6 Compatibility.... First off, why the heck won't it rotate to the opposite portrait mode? It's upside down when I use it with my standard case stand. Rotation is literally app programming 101, what gives??? Also, it needs to be optimized for iPhone 6 and 6 plus. Many settings screens are unusable. Otherwise I love this app and have had it forever! Fix this stuff and 5 stars all day every day!!! NOTE: It will not play any iTunes music with DRM. Not sure this is the app's fault and I don't think they can fix this but it still really stinks.

Bring back old tap dj. Honestly I used to love this app when I was younger. It used to be the highlight of my day. Then I kinda got into other things later in time and forgot about the app. When I remembered how much fun I had on this app I downloaded it again, very excited to play around with it just to find out everything was locked with DRM... I recently came back to the app to see if I would be able to use my favorite songs on it, only to see everything still locked with the DRM. I feel as if nobody is going to really want to buy their songs directly from iTunes just to use this. There should be a way we could play our favorite songs and use them on this app straight from Apple Music! I have all my playlists and everything set up so perfectly on Apple Music it’s such a shame I can’t even use one song of the many.

Great app for sure. Would be bomb if you had pitch and tempo separate not linked And if you could play Bluetooth through the app Every time I connect Bluetooth it just plays through the iPhone/iPad Been rocking with you guys since iPod touch 4

The tapdj. This is a great app to kill time. And mix the music you have on your device. The feeling you get when you mix two songs together is priceless. My one dislike is that for some reason it the app wont play with any bluetooth device.

Nice but!. Apple makes it very difficult to play my own music here! Hope Tune in may have a player like this one.

What is going on. I don’t know what is the issue with this because I remember years back when I had this app it was the best thing to enjoy now it don’t want to play the music I bought. Could you please fix this issue.

Half of the screen glitched. On both my iPhone and iPad the screen is blocked by a grey and blue glitch, the buttons are shifted and only the left turntable loads anything but all I can do is eject it and select a new song or scratch for 3 seconds with NO fader and then it freezes. I might as well have burned the money or gave it to someone and asked them to kick me in the balls.

Need's Auto Beat Cue. Without the ability to beatmatch and cue song's via headphone's leaves functionality of this app very limited, it need's an auto beatmatch to work properly other than that it's a great little app 5 stars

Good but.... Whenever I choose a new song it either gets the wrong song or exits the app! Plus, you can't change the song while recoding a mix! I Think it must be bugs. It needs to be updated! If this is fixed I will re review this app and give it 5 stars!

Totally worth the money. Worth every cent. Beat sync would be great and cue points need to be more sensitive to be useful. Looking forward to some updates ;)

More compatibility needed. Great little app but on my iPad, when I try and load 128 Kbps songs, it never loads. When I reload the app it comes up with an error. This is quite annoying. Please fix soon guys!!!

Get This Now!!!. Amazing app for dj's and wannabes! I've been djing for 11 years and this really reminds me of djing on my 1200 technics back in the day. Even though it's small and a bit fiddly I think it's the whole touch thing and the response is absolutely fantastic! I simply just want speed nudge up and down functionality, like when u push the vinyl to get it in sync with the other track rather than using the pitch slider, this would complete the feeling of djing with vinyl. Also, without the functionality to cue the next track in your headphone BPM counters are necessary in this app. However if your smart u can see the beats in the wave form and match them there in the mix. Lastly full eq kills would be great and a filter someday too, If this can be done this app will be freaking AMAZING!!!

Nice DJ App - some extra upgrades would make it perfect. Really addictive and workable DJ app - needs BPM and a auto beat sync and also a playlist maker so each song can run one after another (like a auto DJ) instead of loading tracks all the time - Also does not load long tracks like megamixes etc as I have a few I made. Apart from that this is the BEST DJ app I have ever seen and played with.

Update when ??????. I love this app but it's time for an update that fixes this crash when recording. A tip would be to be able to save the recording direct to ur iTunes library on the iPod . Overall great job

Jenny. Only 2 things missing in this app is the playback speed does'nt go fast enough instead of just 1.5 how about waking it up to at least 2.0 or even 2.5, and make it so it can play ur tracks, or mixes in reverse. If they were to do this, this would make this app the best dj app by far.

Well well well.... It's funny when you speed up and slow down songs. And then you can make loops and adjust the sounds and go crazy. Gee it doesn't take much to keep me entertained...

Great. It's a really good app and just fun to play around with. It does take heaps of time to get used to. I would recommend getting it, but unfortunately I found the other reviews to be very misleading. You willl have a lot of fun though.

Great app but. One of the coolest apps out but don't buy if you have anything lower than a 3Gs or it just crashes and lags

Better. TapDJ is way better then Djay because it has way more samples, better scratching, better effects, great presets, shows the the sound frequency up close, plays recordings, recordings convert to MP3 not AIFF, has better speed toggle and just a sexier design. But it won't load my songs when they are the same songs the app used to play before. Re-installing isn't working either.

Yeah, but.... It's great! But if you could change the BPM count of the song it would be much better!

Great App. Needs an Update. Another fine music making app that's gone to waste. Keeping an eye out for the best developers that support the product when it comes to music apps.... There's not one to be seen here as it it seems... moving on.

Awesome. Fantastic game So worth the money. When I got this game I didn't understand it but after practice it is awesome. But I wish you could upload your mixes to pc other than that AWESOME but please update so you can upload your mixes to pc.

Great, but needs improvement. This app is great for the price, but a few more features would make it truly impressive. It desperately needs an autosync function, and a bpm display, because at this point in time, beatmatching is almost impossible. It also needs a search function when looking for music (like in the ipod). If this stuff comes up with the next update, it'll be worthy of a 5 star rating.

Hmmmm.... I just use my actual decks. As it says in the FAQs though, this is no substitute for an actual setup. Some BPM meters would be nice and bigger play buttons are in order. You might as get VirtualDJ on a laptop instead though, unless you are so obsessed with the idea of mixing on public transport that you would be liable to carry your laptop with you everywhere, just in case.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Where to begin....first of all the cost of this app...dayummmmmmm...so worth the money...second the app itself....OMG!! If you love ur music and have been looking for an app where you can mix and scratch from your own library, you CAN'T go past this app. A must have APP for all DJ buffs...10 stars if it was possible.....can't wait to see what updates are in store for this app ;)

I CANT GET ENOUGH OF IT.. Tap dj is sooo cool how u can transform the singers voices to high or low or how u can add tunes , how u can record the music or ur own voice ITS SOOOOOO COOL I 💛💙💜💚❤💗💓💖I am addicted i could stay up all night listening to it.

Matt T. Not bad, but still feels like a bit of a toy. I've not had any crashes yet, but in order for me to take this app seriously, it needs several essential improvements. 1) should have true audio cueing, by mixing down a stereo sound file into one channel (L or R) and allowing the other channel to be used for lining up tracks, before you play it out. 2) should have adjustable pitch sensitivity, since mixing drum And bass (and any other styles I've tried, at 170ish bpm is near on impossible in it's current state. 3) add an automix option for the n00bs out there, and maybe a bpm counter for them too ;-)

One word - awesome!. Never saw the appeal in DJ music but this is similar to DJ Hero making you appreciate of what is possible. Very cool for just mucking around although it would be nice with a proper tutorial. User interface is very friendly, everything feels professional and more entertaining than computer software. Being able to spin on the records at the same time is probably something that isn't normally possible either This app's easily worth $6 (which may be the price once it goes back up?) so get it whilst its cheap! I'm sure bpm will be coming in a later update - its only v1.0 Slight issue: its a battery drainer :(

Waste of money.. Okay, first off. If you want to properly DJ, doing it on an iPod alone will not work. If you are crazy enough to not believe that, then go get Djay. It's the same price for a much, much, much better app. This hasn't been updated in months and is full of bugs. The only good thing I can say about it is that's is slightly better scratching then in Djay. But seriously, this is horrible. DON'T BUY IT!

... just wow. Amazing app, obviously not like a full dj kit but great to play around with on the bus or any other time you have spare time. I'll review the app if they some important features like a BPM indicator but other than that, this app is incredible.

Won't work for me. I might be doing something wrong but it appears that either my iPhone 3g is not fast enough, I have too much stuff on there or whatever. I wasted my money on this app as it does not play the songs, rather it skips them... sorry not for me this one.

Needs an update!. Been using this app since day one but Man U need to update it badly. Out of no where some songs dont wanna load. Plus the bpm is too hard to get it right it's too sensitive. And add a switch to my headphone channel so i can do real Mixes with headphones on.

Awesome app…. I know it's easy for me to ask this, but much harder to deliver (otherwise you would have done it already), but it's really hard to mix without a bpm counter. This app cannot be labeled a true dj mixing app (even if it is just on an iPhone or iPad) without it. I think it's the only thing missing in what is otherwise a great applications. Thank you

Crash. Used to be great but it's now crashing and not loading songs! Fix It :( Your better of getting djay. It doesn't have some things in it but it's cheaper and contains more capabilities (such as automix). However djay doesn't allow you to use your recordings in the turntable. BUY DJAY!!!!! Update it you lazy morons!

Pretty sweet. This app definitely needs more effects I think you should add effects like flanger and not have such a sudden drop in volume when you go to hit the echo effect Apart from that it's a very cool app

Hours of fun!!!. Would be great to have a song search option, so you can choose much faster what you want to listen to / mix. It takes a long time to scroll down and select without a search box. Would be great to have an update there. Apart from that, fantastic app, hours of fun!

Great Fun.. Very clever app. You can have a lot of fun speeding up or slowing down your tunes, and even mixing them together. I'd love to be able to use this in HD graphics on iPad 2. Hopefully this can become universal. All in all, great app.

Pretty good. I am a real Dj, I mix trance and house, I love this app because It accurately reproduces the equipment you need for basic mixing, i can now keep my skills sharp when I'm away from my gear, other dj apps are toys compared to this. I just wish this app had a more realistic pitch control and a bpm readout.

One of the best app. Well worth the $2.50, Its easy to use, great to muck around on. Only problem ive had with it is sometimes it freaks out and gets out of the app when you loading a song onto one of the turntables while a song is playing on the other. Great fun overall.

Great App but small issue!. This is a great app as everyone before me has said however it is giving me some trouble which can actually be very aggrevating. When loading songs the app wants to load up songs I have loaded previously instead of the one I am selecting ... does anyone else have this issue?? Apart from that issue the app is great value and very entertaining!

Frustrating!!. This app is amzing it is perfect in many ways and is exactly what it says it is but I will only rate it 1 start due to this app having so many glitches I do not need to have half my songs not work or for me to be 30 minutes in and the application freezes!!!

Awesomly awesome. i really like the app and being able to mix to of my song and mix them together and record it is so cool id just like to have a few more sound effects(samples cases) and thats all this is the best app ever and would also be grat to be able to listen to the recorded remix in our ipod/iphone music

Impressive. Finally, a well thought out DJ app that could substitute for the real thing in a pinch. Intuitive and fun to use with a surprising amount of control. Only wished it would load songs a bit faster and somehow pull bpm data, but nonetheless blown away and feel confident those issues could be addressed in a future update

Great App! But a suggestion. This is a great app! Definitely worth the $1.99. Although one thing I'd really like to see is the ability to increase and decrease the tempo of the song without it changing pitch. Other than that though, this app is magnificent.

Waste of money. Although is cheap, it is also slow to load songs. I got it and I have not bee able to load one of the songs from my iPad because it does not work...so far a waste of money...really bad!

It's good so far but.... Would love to see sync options or at least bpm on both decks, be able to cut off hi mid and low buttons by tapping maybe, add those and this can potentially be one of the better DJ apps, loading songs were fast for me @ 320 kbps quality.

Loading problem. Great interface but needs a bpm indicator. Not able to load the songs from my iPod to tap dj. The loading track icon appears but nothing ever happens. So no use for me. 0 out of 5 till im able to import my songs.

Tap D J. Love this app use it all the time to cut music. The only thing that would make it even better is to be able to transfer your cut piece directly to your device without a computer. Love it anyway!

not compatible. it says right in the requirements that it is compatible with the ipad, there is a commercial where the app is being used on a ipad but it wont let me put it on my i pad

Poor quality. Rip off. Not to be able to change the track you're playing. This is a huge bug. This is not a groundhog day app. You're supposed to put a different track otherwise what's the point.

Having Fun (for older ipods). I just bought this app july 1, 2012, for my ipod touch and works great. No issues, can load from my library. All functions work. Heres the thing, my ipod touch is "version 4.2.1". Now when i went to put it on my ifone 4 it does not work. So keep that in mind before buying this one. An this is the first dj app i found that was compatible with my version of ipod touch.

Pretty sick. This app is def the best so far Hopefully with some updates itll become the greatest; it did just recently come out!

Not worth the money. I have been struggling with this for days. Tap DJ is far to unreliable to be useful. It often crashes when loading songs, and what is currently playing will stutter even if it doesn't lock up. I had high hopes and have been completely let down. Spend your 2 bucks elsewhere.

Tap DJ. The only thing that would make it better would be if you could change the pitch without changing speed and vice-versa.

FIX THE APP (WON'T LOAD SONGS THAT ARE NOT FROM ITUNES). This app will only use iTunes purchased songs. Which is really stupid, song downloaded elsewhere cannot be used. Such a shame, a good app gone to waste :(

Needs update! Do not buy!!. Half the controls are missing so you can’t use it. They need to update it or take it off App Store. In the meantime it’s just taking money.

Can’t find a way to adjust pitch. This app has been updated, but now the turntables are much larger and I can’t find the slides to adjust the pitch. It’s stuck on a fast pitch for each song. Also, most of my music library is DRM, meaning I can’t play those on Tap DJ.
