Love it!. I have used for many years and it is marvelous. Flexible, easy, versatility. I usually use it mostly in pictures about people or selfies. The result is outstanding!

So much fun!. I just uploaded this App and am enjoying the variety of filters to create different looks. I am anxious to see how they print out! Excellent !!

Great!. Took a great shot of our three dogs actually looking at the camera. Unfortunately it was a little blurry. I had the idea of maybe turning it into a painting. Googled some apps, download this one and was not disappointed. They even sent a $30 gift card with the print! Will definitely keep this app

Easily Create Beautiful Paintings!. This app is SO COOL! You select any photo from your library and EASILY transform it into a work of art you can hang in your home! We went on a trip to France last year and I used one of those pics to create a beautiful, impressionistic water color painting for our dining room. I ordered the print matted and framed and it turned out perfect!

Use it for painting. Like to paint but can barely draw. Use this to get a pretty clean line drawing, print directly on watercolor paper and paint away. Really shortens the whole tracing paper process. Wish i was an artist and able to draw, but since im not i use this, love it.

Review.. I only know how to use less than 5% of the features and commands, but I can change a photo into a colored pen and ink. Have no idea how to use the other commands. But good enough, as that is just want I wanted.

Rocky start, but really like the app. This is the first app I've had of this type. Getting it to do what it was supposed to do was not very intuitive. I ended up stumbling across how to use it but once I figured it out, the results have been frankly terrific. The filters are great. Like another reviewer said, it helps take an ordinary snapshot and turn it into what my vision was when I first saw it. I was bummed when the app no longer worked after a new IOS…but then they updated it and I’m rocking and rolling again

Great app!. I have a new iPad Pro, and have bought several photo effect apps to try with my 28,000 photos. I have tried them all, and end up using MobileMonet nearly every time. I love finding something that works so well.

New watercolorist. I just started watercolor after many years showing interest. Being able to convert a photo into a painting is exactly what I needed to see composition, shading , and light. This app is amazing for this novice. I use it everyday - 5 star!!!

Good job!. I don't usually write reviews but this app is quite fun. I'm not sure what happens with the print version as only started using it and haven't had opportunity. Looks good on screen.

A Disappoinment. Stripping all of the color out of an image is no way to begin a conversion. Unlike some painting apps, Mobile Monet doesn’t allow users to choose the extent of change the user wants. No. The app strips out all of the color—and the very poor documentation/help text leaves you clueless about what to do and what choices are available. This would be the child of a marriage between the worst of the colorburst apps and a bad translation of documentation about someone else’s app. I have a couple of the other ECP apps - and they all have similar problems - but this is the very worst of the lot.

Love It. This is the best app for digital content. What it does, it does extremely well and no complaints here. Thank you for this app.

Cool app.. I downloaded this app. from apps gone free. Best decision ever. I have just explore the beginning of this app. I'm sure there's more to learn. I recommend this app to make really cool pictures on the fly. In due time I will learn more about modifying pictures and make even better pictures but I'm having too much fun turning my friends pictures into abstract art. I gave it five stars because right now I'm modifying my pictures and they look great and it's fun.

A great fun creative photo app. It's great to be able to play around with the photos that I take without having to go into PhotoShop. The results are so surprising at times.

Best app ever. I heard about this from another photographer. I decided to try it and I am in love with it. I loved Microsoft digital imaging that I had when I was a PCer. I have been disappointed that apple who has better equipment never had a photo program that was as good as DI. Let me tell you that one was far better than photoshop. Finally this wonderful one Comes along and I can now create work like I used too. I have just one small problem. I like shooting with my camera and creating on my laptop where I have a larger screen when will someone make this compatible with my MAC. My world will be complete when that happens. Get this and you too will become addicted

Easy to use. I like its ability to generate an excellent sketch. One can use the sketch, or go further and brush in color. Either way, the results are delightful.

Great app. I have had watercolor apps before which gave a few effects, but I really like the fine detail in these outlines, and I really like the option to fill the canvas. Downloading this app is a great decision and you will enjoy it.

My Favorite Aps. I love using this Ap to create artistic photos. It is one of my top favorites. It is also great for making "dead" time while waiting in airports fun.

Architect/ Planner. This app is tremendous! Within two hours I was creating spectacular watercolor paintings of our residential and commercial projects from raw photos of the built structures! We're going to have them printed on canvas then present them to our clients as gifts. I love this app!

An artist photographer's opinion. I've never written a review of an app before. But this app is really cool and I wanted to congratulate the creators of it. It is easy to use, and though it doesn't do what I was looking for, which was turning a photograph into something that looks sort of pixelated like Renoir and Monet did, The effect that it gives the artist is unusual and acceptable considering the cost of the app. In a few moments I learned how to use it and sent out 2 photos that I turned into pictures which I thought the people who I had taken the pictures of would really appreciate. Keep in mind I've only had this app for an hour or so. Once I get the hang of it I bet I'm going to make sensational looking pictures. The kind that I can sell. If that's not worth trying it nothing is.

Great!. This is a very well made app. However, I was looking for something with less control and more automatic conversion from a photo to art. I think this app is great for those who want to have a full control of how each pixels turn out. Their customer service is also very excellent. They replied to my question within a few hours.

Top notch photo-paint app. I'm a novice re: photo to painting apps; I usually focus on traditional landscape images. However, I've been discovering the joy of turning seemingly ordinary photos into strong images/art that conveys my vision at the time; amazing. On the desktop, I've been using Snapart for a long time and Paper Artist on iOS, however have been looking for something more robust. This app definitely fits the bill. It's fairly intuitive, it has a lot of various types of... Painting Styles and is has enough Modifiable settings to satisfy most people. All in all a top notch product. Now what they need to do is create a desktop version.

Gets better. I read here someone say it got better each time he returned to it and I agree with that. As I understand what it does then I started to see more ways to use this app as an artist. Both in creating art but also using as a tool to create in other media

Great App!. I adore this & all of East Coast Pixels apps. They're that good. I'd buy any app they make in the future, sight unseen. That's how much I like em. I don't know them, I'm just a 60yr lady who has finally discovered smart telephones. UPDATE: now I'm 65, and still love all things ECP!

Unique. Over the years, I’ve used a great many gFX apps. Mobile Monet is unique. I don’t use it often, but I will not be without it.

One of my favorites. I have a few “Photo/Art” type apps. This is one of the first I go to for a ‘different’ look. Many result in printworthy art.

Beautiful photo gifts. I’ve made photobook gifts using this app to enhance and adjust what i want to feature. It changes the mood of the picture instantly.

An oldie but goodie!. I pulled this one out of the mothballs and it’s still as useful as it was six years ago. Thank you for keeping it in the Apple Store.

Pretty Darn Good. I used the first image I tried after purchasing Mobile Monet. I have others that are too complicated -- this one is fun. The results are specific, so you might use it sparingly, but you want it in your arsenal.

An artist’s dream tool. As an artist, this app has been invaluable in helping change a not so interesting photo to a great one. I recommend it 100%

Beautiful rendering machine…. It took me a couple of goes at this app to make it reveal it's surprises. I've come across other painting edit apps, but this one is so easy to use, once I figured it out. Keep up the good work

Truly Marvelous and VERY HAPPY !. I absolutely ADORE this app ! It's wonderful .. And when I had some issues with a revision, the designers contacted me and immediately made me happy !! I can't recommend this wonderful app anymore than 5 stars only because I'm looted here . But I would give these designers 30 stars if I could ! Truthfully , I liked the app much better prior to the revisions . I had more control over what I wanted to do as far as personal creativity . Still better than any other app like this .

Needs tweaking. Great idea, just needs softer application of colors, especially on skin tones. One swipe and colour too solid (on face). Needs option to adjust the sheerness of the colors so it can be applied slower. Tried all adjustments and it made no difference to how quick the colour applies, especially on skin tones. Fix that and continue to improve and 5 stars.

Nice app. It would be nice if the auto rotation can be disabled coz when I rotated the phone to get the right angle to paint or erase the image would auto rotate. Nic thing is the image is saved in it's original size...thank you 

Loads of potential. I'm enjoying using this app to turn my floral photographs into sketches. It seems to have an issue saving to Phototoaster although I can use the OPEN in photo toaster function. I like the way your apps all work well together.

Awesome. This app is amazing. The pictures it produces of landscapes look like pen & ink watercolours. I'm going to frame some to put in my new home, they turn out that good. Best app I've ever bought.

Great app for simplifying. I have used this app extensively to simplify reference photos prior to painting them. It has been awesome to see what the scene might look like in a painterly view. Highly recommend this app however choose your view wisely as some can look great while others can be really overpowering and distort the scene and colours. Enjoy!

Mobile Monet. This is fantastic and so much fun to create sketch works of art. I have already done eight for inclusion in a book for my sister's Christmas gift. The one of her at Niagara Falls came out well and I had a riot with Halloween and Thanksgiving!

Great watercolour filter. I find this app has better watercolour options than Photoshop.

One of my favourites.. I have owned this app for years, and every now and again I open it and play with it and edit a photo. It's a wonderful thing, fun and easy to use, and with it I've created graphics I love. It's a must have in my photography app library.

A musthave app. I love this app. In seconds I can make beautifully paintings from pictures.

Mobile Monet. I’ve really enjoyed going through old pictures and turning them into paintings. It’s especially useful for making marginal pictures much more interesting. One useful improvement would be to improve the span of the gradients of the adjustments. This would allow the user more precision to refine the picture they want.

upgrade for iPad version costs more. I purchased this app after seeing it in the "Staff Favourites". It said it's for the iPhone, iTouch and iPad. After purchasing it on my iPad and using it twice, a pop up appeared saying an upgrade of this app was available 'specially designed' for the iPad. Only thing is, they ask for more money.

Concerning the update/rework/overhaul. This app as been around for quite awhile, and for good reason. It's fun and a very unique treat for your photos.

COMPLETELY non-functional. This app does not function at all. Not only is the interface not intuitive, but nothing works. You cannot add or remove paint at all. You cannot use any of the tools. You cannot do anything.
