Great app. I really enjoy the options when making a video. I will say my videos are much better in quality.

Absolute must have. If you have iMovie then you must get this app!! This app allows you to add text, clip art and wallpapers to your iMovie . Without this app you can only add pictures , music and video.

Bug that needs to be fixed!. I have a problem. I'm editing my picture with text and when I come to the screen, the CANCEL and the FINISH option are faded out and not available and now I can't get out of it. And now I cant use the app until its fixed, dang. It would be greatly appreciated if the next update for this app can contain the fix of glitches of not canceling or finishing. Thanks. BUT, overall it's a great and amazing app. I'm glad that the developers created this app. Thanks.

Not what I expected.. To all the haters with low reviews I have one question. Have you ever heard of stop motion? I've used Extras for iMovies to create title roles exit rolls and credits. I expected more from this app but with the continuos updates its functionality is improving. I give 3 stars now will give more as functions are added like animated text, the ability to add effects to movies, and perhaps lots of transitions.

iMovie essential. If you have iMovie then you need this app to add to your movie creations. Thousands of images in the library and easy way to add text to your own images.

Smileys. Has animation clips to insert, can search web for any image, enormous variety for adults and kids. Seems to work well into iMovie so far

Scam Alert. I purchased this app because the other scrolling credit app I bought was non-functioning. I beieve it's called "scrolling credits." This is the same app made by the same company, Dating DNA, Inc. Its a dating service which helps explain why their movie editing app doesn't work at all. I have unsuccessfully attempted to get my money back. I strongly urge you not to purchase this. It does not work. Even if it did, the user interface looks like it was developed by well, um, people who run a dating service.

SCAM. All it is is pictures. Not worth it. If I could I wouldn't give it any stars!

Don't get cheated out of money.. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say all of the positive reviews were written by the app developers. I really wish I could get a refund, even though it only cost two dollars. First of all, the layout looks terrible. It's hard to figure out what to do. You can choose a background, and put scrolling text on it without sound, or you can choose a background and put sound without scrolling text. That's it. Then they want you to save it as a video and add that to iMovie. It's a very poorly done app. No offense to the developers, but you can do much better. And you should, if you're going to charge money for this application.

Does exactly what it promised. I really don't understand why eveybody always says that this app is dumb, because it isn't. It makes the movies more interesting with the cool photos THAT YOU CAN EDIT TO ANYWAY YOU WANT!! I love that feature. Besides, it does just what the creators said it would do (unlike most apps that do nothing when they are supposed to do cool stuff). And just to let some of the people who aren't very observant know, YOU NEED TO HAVE THE APP IMOVIE FOR THIS APP TO WORK!! Half of the people who leave bad ratings probably don't even have iMovie! So don't listen to anyone who says this app is a waste. It is great!

Truly a must have for iMovie. This definitely does what it is supposed to do, add titles and scroll credit clips. Wonderful app. Great companion for iMovie.

Um, no.. "Add titles, text, and scrolling credits to your iMovie videos [...]" This is misleading, false advertising. All this app does is make images that you can add text to. You then must import it into iMovie the same as any other image. This app will NOT let you add text to *VIDEO FOOTAGE* as you might imagine from the description. If you need something to overlay text on actual video footage, this will not do it. The best you can do is have video, transition to a static image with text, then transition back to video. That's BS, and I want a refund.

must have app!. If u use iMovie app, you can't live without this app because it allows you to do all the txt, credits and background when putting ur movie together;^)

Awesome but... It's so cool but they say u can have scrolling credits, but u actually can't. All this app really is are pictures that Can download and save to ur device. They need a tutorial on how to turn those things into videos

Good still image library. This app is essentially a (decent) still image catalog with the ability to overlay text onto the stills, there is NO interoperability with iMovie. This app simply exports a still image and frankly there are better image editors out there, however, the integration of a text editor with an image gallery/web image search is pretty cool. I was impressed with the quick support telling me how to cancel the Ken Burns effect in a still image in iMovie (tap start>pinch the image as small as you can, click done>click end and pinch the image as small as you can, click done). The app is well worth the price for the ability to make custom titles and seems to work as advertised. Check out the video tutorials before you buy.

Great App a Must Have. For the price you can't beat this app, a total must have. I am a real estate agent and so I really appreciate it when I can get something working quickly. This app is great!!!!!

This app is rad!. If you get it try importing a pic then adding sound to it which is easy, then change the voice effect to mouse. You may want to slow your voice if you want it to be clear. Made me laugh out loud :) anyways great addition to your movie pic apps you have and iMovie, as well as searching a large database of media online with it. Cheers!

Fair.. Well, here's my opinion. I would like it if people could download their own photos onto the app and be able to draw, text ,etc. Sometimes it's a little bit slow, but maybe it's just my iPod. Pretty good overall and very helpful to iMovie!

Crashes but still usable.... Tried app for first time today. Every time i tried to save a title (image plus text) to use in iMovie, it crashed--no matter what image optimization level I chose. Finally turned phone to landscape mode, played image as a slideshow (to get rid of onscreen instructions etc), took screenshot. Tricked image with text into my library.

Stupid update. Before update I would hive it a 4 star after I would give a 5 star but it has this stupid bug. Like when u text on it exit out of customize then click it again it has double text and u can't delete it.

I love "Extra for iMovie" but..... I absolutely love this app! But there is a problem. I have a iPod touch 4th generation and I recently updated the app. The updated version allowed you to make "Scrolling text". Everybody else's reviews said that the app works perfect for them. But when I use the scrolling option, it never saves and the app closes. The app took away the scrolling option all by itself. I don't know why it does it and it makes me sad. I really love iMovie and this app is usfull. I hope that this problem can be fixed. Thanks. :) PS, I can still save pictures with text, but it takes longer.

Not bad... To the people who say that it does not help iMovie --LEARN how to use this app. iMovie is really one of the worst iPhone editors. The text ability is horrid and lack if settings and well I will not go on... This app gives you the ability to add text to images, scrolling credits, and more backgrounds. That is it. That is what the app says. For a buck it does exactly what I need it to do. It is not some magic app. iMovie in itself is limited- but once you save your work in Extras- you can use it in any app you choose. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the app growing. Even if you clear the cache, tweak your settings, and delete backgrounds.. It never used to. I thought all of this was on a sever.. So why after I made one measly credit did the app grow 120mb in size??!

One problem but the problem is for iMovie. The only problem I have is that when I have more than 2 pictures on iMovie it will shown the first 2 but then go black for the others.. But pictures are great and i love putting captions and drawing on them. Great app for a great price

Quirky. Definitely a great addition to iMovie, but has a quirky interface. Once you get past that, you'll be able to do some pretty nifty things in short order. Biggest issue I have found thus far: doesn't support scrolling text rendering for HD video. Results for me come out with a weird strobing and flashing effect. So scrolling credits texts aren't useful in HD resolution, even on my new iPad 3. I emailed tech support: they responded promptly stating it is difficult to render HD scrolling text on mobile devices and that there really isn't anything they can do about this. Bummer for me since scrolling credits was of key interest for me.

Amazing. This makes iMovie so much more useful. My scrolling titles were a bit choppy but considering iMovie can't do that at all I will take it! They have excellent video tutorials for those that want to see more about how to use the app in depth. It is really amazing the options this app gives you to add text to pictures and to make scrolling credits. Absolutely love it!!!! The people that said this app doesn't do what it says need to spend 1 minute actually watching the in-app supplied how to videos.

Really???. I bought this app after purchasing the iMovie app because it was recommended by other reviews. I tried using it and it turned out to be an "epic Fail!" All it ever said was .... This feature is not available becasue of problems on the server and we are trying to fix it. Also if you don't have WiFi don't buy it cause for some odd reason you need WiFi!

Shameful. Absolutely NO STARS!!!!!!!What happened to the apple promise of maintaining a family friendly environment. All my kids wanted to do was add credits/ text to their little movies - and here they are bombarded by these explicit images. I demand a refund. This is sickening - and they wonder why school in PA are handing out condoms to children as young as eleven, its because of morally bankrupt individuals such as this app creator - that use innocent sounding applications to peddle their filth to the world. Apple tsk tsk tsk..... I thought you were better than this.

Crap. What if you don't want to create a terrible, unwatchable, complete piece of garbage? What if all you want to do is put a little bit of text on a black background? You'll have loads of fun with all the glitches in this terrible app. If you have any aesthetic at all and you just want some simple graphics, I suggest making them in some other image editing program and not wasting your time or money on this stupid app.

Do not buy, if using with iPad & iMovie. Apple, please take this OFF app store. I want refund. I have an iphone3gs and ipad2. I commonly use iMovie with iPad . I wanted to do titles and with different fonts. So bought this program. Then I did a search. For fonts..... No search results. Then I did a search for titles, no results again. I did use the link for tech support. They did not get back with me but I was patient. So I looked and had to sit throughout the video tutorial. So what I see is a waste of some coin in an iMovie add on app that does not work .

Completely Misled. There are no buttons to upload a video! HOW/WHERE am I supposed to add titles and credits to my video...? The first thing this app claims in the app store us that this app will add (gotta go get and quote.. Brb) "text, titles and credits to your iMovie videos. Yeah sure! After you make a picture in their app (or any other text editing app) and then add that picture into your REAL movie editing software. I was misled to believe this app would position text ON my iMovie. I rarely write reviews. I haz a sad  which is why I'm here writing this. So if I were to give stars based on my experience it would get a 1 I looked at the app fir it's other purpose... MAKING SLIDES and maybe it's ok so I give it 3 now but until the wording gets changed my vote goes no higher.

iMove app. This app is great but whenever I try to save an image or video it never saves. Also I can't get the images/videos on iMovie. IMovie is a great app and it would be much better if I could put up images and videos up from this app. :( Please fix -Thank you :)

If you use iMovies, this is a must have app!. wow, this app really makes my other iMovie app actually functional. With this app, you can choose a background and put text on it for credits and messages then put them in your iMovies. it also gives you hundreds of thousands of pictures and images to use for your iMovies. if you use iMovies, this is a must have app!!!

Offline mode. I personally like it but I have an iPod touch so I have wifi at school not at my house and I edit my movies at home and need an offline version to finish my movies because I don't spend the time I need to finish my movies so please please make an off line mode for everyone who has an iPod and uses iMovie

Easy to Use. Making iMovie trailers is fun and this app makes it easy to find and use photos and other relevant 'objects' to add. Saves a lot of time searching for relevant pictures in particular.

Tyler the author. In my opinion I think this is good because it has HD picture to use plus searching for any pictures you could think of. So I rate this all the way and everybody should to so rate thumbs up.

Great accessory. One of the most useful iMovie accessories out there. You can draw on a library of clips and photos quickly and easily.

Fun and convenient!!!. sure you could probably get away with photo-editors and google search to accomplish similar results, but why waste time when this app makes it soooo easy! Has some cool fonts too! Slight learning curve but you'll get it.

Good and useful app!. This app helps you make a great video out of a normal one. Can do a lot of things. I think I use only 10%. The interphase is somehow disorganized and the search engine may overwhelm you. There is room for improvement. That's why I give it 4 stars out of 5.

The app that fills the gap in iMovie and Keynote.. Not only can't iMovie create opening and closing credits, but you can't even create the credits in Keynote and then export the 'Presentation' to your Camera Roll as a movie--which would be ideal. Thank goodness someone had the brains to make this simple app that fills the gap.

Buggy. Poor experience. Not good. Read the description carefully and it is as described. However, the user experience is shocking. The whole usability doesn't really make sense. Lots of pop ups all the time. When I food my background, added cool text, then when to save to camera roll for iMovie it saved in very poor quality. What the?! Very frustrating.

Add text where?. Great quality wallpapers, backgrounds etc. Still can't find how to create or add scrolling text. So far I am only able to search for wallpapers etc, when I originally wanted the app for the scrolling text ONLY! It's not under the customize options either - a bug? I tried opening iMovie, checking to see if I could do everything in there - but still nothing but pics. So, where's the option of being able to create scrolling text? As the name of the app is called.

Buggy, glitchy, annoying. Not really very good at all. What it wants to do is great, what it actually achieves is not there yet. When it isn't failing, it is jerky. Not exactly sure why you need all of their own wallpapers either. That just adds to its cheapness. Wait until iMovie or AVID natively support scrolling titles.

Pointless and worthless. This is the most disappointing app I've ever bought. I am more than capable of searching for images in google, I don't need a stupid app to do it.

Imovies extra. This app. allows good enhancements to your IMO IRS app. The quality of the enhancement is only as good as your imagination.

Glitchy. Not very good. The keyboard didn't even come up when I tried to type something. Don't waste your money on this.

Wasted money. If this app allowed you to download backgrounds into iPad rather than working in cyberspace, it might, might be a little better. As it is I would not recommend this app to anyone. I work with classes and have gone back to doing titles by hand and filming them, easier, more fun and less stress when teaching.

Excellent. I am a professional filmmaker and I bought this app for fun, and it really does expand the usability of iMovie. If nothing else, the ability to create your own credits is worth the $1. The only hurdle I found is initially trying to figure it out, but give it a chance and you will discover its capabilities.

Why?. Pointless app in my opinion.. I can make graphics in any software and put them in imovie. I bought this app thinking you could add text to recorded video, not just still frames. Why can't there be an option to import VIDEOS not just choose clip art from google images, and put text on your chosen video frames?

Don't pay for this. This app doesn't really do much. It gives you the same credit options that were available on the early Windows Movie Maker. Then, because they know it sucks, the app is not eligible for a refund.

Misinformation. I thought upon reading this, that I could use this extra app to "Crop" videos. That's what I thought. I spoke with an Apple rep, and he led me to believe the cropping feature was included in this "Extra" pack. Well, we were both wrong. There is no video editing ability in this "Extra" pack, other than basic still image editing. Not what I was looking for. No other comment. Can I get a refund.

Awesome. All of these bad reviews are wrong. I have used this app to actually replicate some of the movie trailers from iMovie '11.

Barely useable, mostly useless. I don't see why this app gets 5 stars by others. It is way more involved in selling you the update than providing you with any interesting content. I haven't seen any tools that works, only photos snd clip art you can easily get on your own. Not worth 0.99 cents.

Surprised. All of the one star reviews were as informative as "it stinks". So I purchased it. I want my dollar back. The UI is garish. The workflow is clunky. The options are limited. And quite frankly I couldn't find the way to export to camera role. The save button does not. I recommend not buying this app.

Misqgin. The extras for iMovie is ok at first but updated version allows Google access is fantastic. This should be seen for everyone

AWESONW. I think this app is a good hit!! But I really think that they should put more than just texts on pictures. I think they should add translations and themes.

Scrolling text. Love the new add of scrolling texts. But how come when I save it as a video and go to play it on iMovie the text quality is so low. It's all blurry n stuff. How do I fix that?

Not what it claims to be.. This "app" actually adds no new features to iMovie. It's a pain to use and yes I did take the time to read the help files and watch the tutorials. The positive reviews must be planted by the developer or they are talking about a different app. Don't waste your time or money on this.

Deceptive. This app is awful. It is deceptive, all it does is simple photo editing and provide basic I image searching you can do in google. It does not interface with iMovie. Don't buy!! Worthless app - very misleading. This really is nothing more than a google images search engine and app that lets you overlay text on photos. iMovie does all of the real work to create the scrolling credits effect...except the example in their video isn't scrolling at all. I want my money back.

Text. Good Software, somewhat. Need to miss around with it to get it to where you want it. With the use of Splice, iMovie and this one. Any one can download images from online, duhhh!... please fix the Text editing format so that only text me display in an actual Recorded movie, not by using a picture to distplay text....

It's okay.. It crashes a lot, it keeps crashing when I try to save the scrolling credits. If they fix the crashing it will be better.

Complete junk. This is the most useless app ever, everyone who wrote it's a must have for iMovie must work for this company this app is nothing other than modern day clipart. This app has absolutely nothing to do with iMovie whatsoever. Only if you like throwing money away should anyone buy this total POS app. Would've rated it a 0 if I could.

What a waste. This app doesn't do anything with iMovie. Trying to be charitable, I thought maybe I could at least save some clips to be saved and then import into iMovie, but nope, that doesn't work either. Please remove this waste of a dollar!

Don't waste your $. The positive reviews must be bogus! Awful app. Not at all easy to use. All features such as adding text or using your own videos are not available. If you'd like to make a movie using their photos or videos then spend the $ 1.99. They got me from the reviews. Hope they don't get you too!

Does what it advertises. Nothing special, but a good tool for just creating video still frames with text.

Have used it so far to big big 😬. Lets me craft short funny videos and capture a moment!!

Not bad. For a beginner like myself, this app gets the job done. Adds a few odds and ends to iMovie app. For .99 it's well worth it.

Parents beware. Parents should be aware that the library of images for this app seems to hugely consist of soft porn pics of half dressed, provocatively posed women. Clicking on "recent images" and "popular images" brings up mostly this sort of picture. It's obvious who the target demographic is for this app.

Don't buy - should be free. Of the hundreds of apps I've downloaded this is the first that I've felt ripped off. Very difficult to use, and only partly works as advertised. You can only add text to static images, not overlayed on your own videos. Just use iMovie for this - cant customize much, but at least it works.

two thumbs up. two thumbs up for this app. Its needed with iMovies. You can add so much. This makes iMovie a million times cooler!!!

Please ADD. Please add 1) IMPORT Photo Library from iPad Camera Roll/Import List 2) REMOVE names on some of the backgrounds or animations. Use "Movie Curtains" choose the red curtain and look on the left bottom of the animation. 3) DROP SHADOW - change the distance, color and blur

Not appropriate for schools. I work at a middle school and was looking for an app to enhance iMovie for projects we create here. I thought this would be a nice app to use to add titles and credits and then I watched the video. Wow. So inappropriate for where I work. Uninstalled. Too bad I can't get my 99 cents back because this was not worth 99 cents.

I wish.... It could be better. I wish you could video your self with a different background.

I like it!. I like the app because it is a quick way to go get a last minute picture to fill in the gap for a movie.

Great with iMovie.. Does everything it says it does and is very easy to use

AD!. All the entire app is is an advertisement for an app called clipish pro suite! Go buy that don't buy this! It is a waste! It does do what it says but I have no idea how this connects to iMovie! It does let you edit pictures upload pictures etc, but it doesn't let you connect to iMovie in any way I could tell. I loved iMovie but this was not good. Waste of money! $

Worthless, DO NOT BUY. This is merely a library of images that you can easily find on the web. You're better of using your own images anyway, to avoid copyright infringes. Most of the images are blurry, not high def. VERY poor quality that you don't really want to mix in with your own. NOPE DON'T SPEND YOUR $ ON THIS.

Works great. The only app I have found to add scrolling credits to my videos that I make with iMovie's. Easy to use!

Troubles. Every time I open it up. It says something is wrong with the clipverse. I know you have to have wifi. I do turn it on. But it sounds like and awesome app!

Very Useful!. It makes the iMovie app 10 times better and it can really help to spice up my video's more!
