My only issue: At this high level the sound keeps cutting out. ??? It’s affecting my other game too, so I am looking into it being my iPhone instead of the game. Anyway… I just love this game! Horrid ads. I really love this game, but it’s interrupted all the time by video ads that I can’t close out of. In order to make the ad go away, I have to click on it. It opens a ton of screens and is really obnoxious. It’s always the blood sugar and military grade flashlight ads, as well as the posture corrector and others. I’m getting really frustrated and SUPER annoyed. Every single ad I’ve had for the past several days has been one of these video ads. They can’t be closed, even if you watch the whole thing. I understand it’s a free app, but this is ridiculous and nearly impossible to play. Having ads I can x out of would be fine, but I don’t want to have to fight with a game to be able to play it. If I’m listening to music, it pauses it so I have to listen to these agonizing videos. I’m really fed up.

Good game. I teally enjoy this game. It gets your brain working and learning. I noticed that the dictionary use to be in app,but now it takes you to safari for the definition. I do not like this change. Please revert. ***Update: Dictionary is back in app! Thanks! Its so much more convenient, thanks for listening to your users feedback.😊

Game great; ads are a gigantic pain!. Get rid of the ads that will not go away! I can put up with the 5 second ads but the ones that stay on the screen and have no “X” to go back to the game are simply wrong! That’s criminal in my estimation to not allow a player to return to the game. I have to shut down my phone in order to continue. This has happened with two ads.

Great brain exercise. I’m not sure how a one star was on here under my account with no review. I have had this app for years and always enjoyed it. I apologize to the developers if it was detrimental to their ratings. I have fixed it now. PS I play this game daily. Only suggestion would be to add some method of tracking best score. Also new users should know tech support is very prompt and helpful.

J2. I played to level 112 and I found some words were not accepted but ok. But then I got to one level and was trying to find the longest word and I just couldn’t. Finally I though, ok, what’s up here. I finally decided to look online. The word turned out to be pawls. Yeah, pawls. A word we all know and use all the time. I looked at the definition and a pawl is a pivoted curved bar or lever whose free end engages with the teeth of a cogwheel...and so on. Well, you might lose the level, but hey! You’ll learn a word that just might take you years to work into polite conversation. It’s an ok game and with only five letters to work with, can be challenging but some of the word choices are a little weird. All in all, it can be fun.

Good but.... I was super sad to see the original Text Twist disappear off the App Store and have been searching for a replacement because Text Twist 2 is garbage. I appreciate the timed and the untimed options. I don’t like that the game will use words that are slang, old English (no really), or uncommon alternate spellings from before modern English was standardized (also really). I’m more of a scrabble dictionary kind of person I guess. But the mechanics work well enough.

Fun But not Consistent. I am actually giving this app 3 1/2 stars. Not all the words used in everyday language are accepted. There are words from very old dialects used. In other cases proper nouns are used, but not all. In some cases, suffixes are used. However, not all of them. This is a fun game, but be aware that whoever created this game isn't a wordsmith. Just this last game, the following words weren't allowed... devein, stat, and stats. Still worth playing. After playing for over a week, the company definitely needs to expand their vocabulary. 🙄 Good grief. Seriously, if you are going to allow proper nouns, then all should be allowed. If you are going to use suffixes and prefixes, then all should be allowed. If you are going to allow acronyms, then all should be allowed. I couldn't believe the word reflow wasn't allowed, as in changing the flow, or to flow backwards. It's in the dictionary for Pete's sake, and not a difficult word.

I love this game. Love the game but sometimes when I tap on the letters, they twist around instead of dropping down to be chosen. Also, each time I complete a level, I get all of the “reached level” tags one right after the other. Is there a way for it just to be done when that level is completed instead of showing ALL of the levels that were completed? Please fix that, it’s getting annoying.

Long-time Fan. No doubt there was a need to update the game's lexicon. I'm referring specifically to Level 7. But your new version is ridiculous. Arcane, obscure words, often derived from different languages and unknown to knowledgeable speakers of English. Here's hoping you take a considered look at your new "challenges". Otherwise, alas, I'll be an ex-fan. Chris

Almost perfect!!!!!. I love this game but I don’t care for the fact that you have to tap a letter sometimes 2 or 3 times to get it to move up which really slows you down, especially when your being timed. I think it’s because the letters aren’t stationary that’s the problem. I also would love to see a variety of timed amounts instead of just 2 minutes. With those changes the game would be perfect.

Nicely done but an ad after almost every puzzle is a bit much. The app is well presented but the amount of ads is a bit over the top. I realize the free version comes with ads but there are times where they run after every single puzzle... I appreciate that the free version requires ads for support, but the frequency is way too often and it gives (me at least) the impression that it’s purposely annoying to goad me into paying for the ad free version. In any event I still enjoy it in small doses...

Myself. Love the game but there are many common words that get left out of the lists. It's possible that only certain words are chosen to represent the parameters of the level so I suppose that's fine but there are some words that seem unfair as they are not whole words but truncations of words.

All Time Favorite. Update: This used to be an all time favorite, but since they increased the ads to where there’s one between each level, I play much less frequently. Wish they’d go back to the old method. I've been playing this game for years. I'll take a break from it now and then, but it's consistently in my top three favorite games that I'm playing at all times. Love it!

Quick and compelling. Jumbline timed plays are perfect for many circumstances where you have a short time between events, eg, television commercials, airport gates, intermissions. Such a fun challenge to try to guess all possible words within 2 minutes... starting with the longest word! I have learned dozens of new words. This is my go-to game.

Too Many Ads. I have been playing this game for years and have always loved it. It’s challenging and makes me think. It was one of the games I could play without being bombarded with ads. The few that popped up were short and I could live with it. BUT recently that’s all changed. It seems like your making up for lost time. There’s an ad after EVERY SINGLE GAME. Granted you can X out of most fairly soon, but they are very annoying. So much so that I’m considering deleting the game and that makes me very sad. It really is the best word game out there, but the ads are TOO MUCH! I’m so disappointed. You went from a 5+ to a 3 in my books.

Love playing except for….. I have been playing this for quite a while and love it. Now what’s happening is the letters are freezing when I try to form the words. The only way to get them moving again is to shut off and restart my phone. I found that it’s not my phone but the game. I just purchased a new phone and the same thing is happening—only more often.

Game has changed and is not worth playing anymore.. I have played and loved this game for years. Words can be challenging but I don’t mind - an opportunity to learn. But they now use archaic words, foreign words and really obscure words. No one knows any of these words. I have tried it in this current mode to give it a chance but I am done. There is no point playing any more. This game is ruined and is not worth playing at all. Avoid at all costs and find a different game.

My favorite word game. I’ve played this game for years and I LOVE it. It allows my brain an escape from the daily stresses of life. However, I really dislike that so many of the large 7-letter words are non-English. I have nothing against foreign languages, but I don’t know any and to get stuck on a word only to find out it’s not English is frustrating. Maybe there can be an international version that’s a different app? I also recommend that you create some kind of skip or hint to go on to the next round if you can’t guess the largest word. Otherwise people will get stuck and give up on the game altogether.

Technical issues while playing the game. Lately while playing the game there has been interference. Either the screen goes completely black or an advertisement interrupt your game. It seems to be the same advertisement in the meantime you can hear the click ticking and ending your game. The advertisement is a woman jogging. This issue needs to be corrected I’ve lost a few games due to this interference thank you

DO NOT UPDATE !!!. If you’re using the old Jumbline 2, DON’T update! They’re using an old Developer’s trick. The “update” is the same app except they truckloaded it with pesky, disgusting ads. If you don’t want the ads, then pay $1.99 and you’ll get back your same old Jumbline 2 with a plus sign (+) at the end, just to give the appearance of a “new” app. I paid for the app years ago and still use it occasionally. It’s a Five Star app. I would never update it. Ever.

An almost perfect word game. I love this game. I have played a ton of word games on iOS but most that claimed to allow you spell all possible words for your letter tray usually had a very limited vocabulary and it was extremely frustrating to play them. Jumbeline 2 has the largest vocabulary of any of them I have played, save only Scrabble. It does have some weird choices of words it supports and makes distinctions that that seem odd but the are tolerable enough. The example here is that they allow the words “orc” and “orcs” and the dictionary says something to the effect of a fictional creature from Lord of the Rings trilogy. If that is the distinction then why stop at orcs and not include other words such as “ent” etc. At any rate it’s a small quibble. Probably my only other observation is that the game seems to forget that I have accomplished many achievements, especially when restarted so when I start a new game I get rewarded over and over again which for some reason bothers me but that probably says more about me 😄. Love the game and highly recommend it.

Remember familiar words and learn new ones. This game challenges me to remember words that I already know, and learn ew ones. After I use all the letter combinations I know are valid words ( using the alphabetical order helps me think) I then use the randomize letters and guess what looks like a word. Once I get them all I enjoy looking up he definitions that are included to learn new words. Just hope I remember those new ones!

Better than texttwist. Allows play with no signal. Option of five, six, or seven-letter words. Only possible downside, ads after every round. Still an advantage over texttwist, however, as ads come AFTER the round, instead of interrupting in the last thirty seconds and killing your game.

Should be 5 stars. After the below posting everything was resolved. Excellent Customer Svc! 5* again! I just send an email to support. This game was a 5 star until a new ad started. 3D Digital comes up like a Google map and there is no way to end it unless you select it and go to their site or end the game and restart - hoping it doesn’t come right back up. Hope this is fixed soon. Love the game and especially that I can learn the meaning of new words and suggest others.

Excellent Word-Search Fun!. I love this game! Somehow it seems to be friendlier than most...a good amount of challenge but not enough to raise one's blood pressure through the roof. I play many word games, but this is the one that I play when I both want to have fun AND relax. Also, I have found their help folks to be second to none...very responsive and friendly to boot! 😊

One of the ads causes app to crash.. I play this everyday, but recently, when the "Game of War" ad pops up between games it crashes my app when I x it out after the ad. Then the app must be restarted multiple times in order to resume my game. This is very frustrating. I don't mind the ads between games in general, but the "Game of War" seems to be causing a problem. The other ads don't cause the game to crash. I hope this gets fixed because I have been playing this game for a long time.

Horrible noisy ads. I've played this game for years and recently one of the "updates" now enables loud, obnoxious video ads. Awful. No way to permanently mute them. Also, I seem to have run out of words at over 2327 games played. More often than not I get a word I've played before in the very recent past. Like 5 games before. Loved the game, but not so much anymore. The developer has gotten lazy and greedy. I purchased the non-ad version years ago, have it on my iPad, but for some reason only the free version downloads on my phone and I refuse to purchase it again.

Okay, however…. Overall game concept and design is very good. It rejects many common words but often requires the use of archaic and incorrect plurals e.g., eld(?), elks (elk). Also inconsistently rejects words found within categories such as country names. Often using the dictionary lookup function indicates that the required word does not exist. A feedback validation function to flag possible incorrect word usage would greatly reduce this problem.

Great game. I really enjoy this game, and since it is free, I expect and don’t mind advertisements, however, when I’m playing this while putting my kid to sleep, it’s a little jarring when one of the loud video advertisements start blaring. I know, it’s a first world problem, but I figure I’ll just throw it out there in case you want to address it... *Just wanted to update and say that after I wrote this review, I have never had another, single, loud video ad occur again (the reason I never sent you a photo, per your request). Y’all are on the ball! And I’m still enjoying this game.

Great game but one issue. I love this game it is fun to play by myself or with friend but the only problem I have with it there is too many ads I get one every time I go to the next level or restart. The only thing is can you make less ads because there isn’t even a remove ads function. Thanks!

Very Good, but..... I play this all the time, but there’s a few things that really bug me. There are far too many words ending in ING, LY, and plural words. Having those as words just makes playing it longer and tedious. How many times do we have to spell the words GIN and INS? If I see the letters have an I, N, and G, I skip to the next word. Sometimes other words are extremely odd. Yes these are words, but BLACKLY??? And BULIMIA?

Wonderful Brain Exercise!. I have spent many hours playing Jumbline 2, and I am convinced it has made me a better speller, and certainly a better anagrammer. The words to anagram are mostly ordinary ones, which is great. about the only suggestion I have is for there to be an "alphabetize" button. Sometimes when I'm at my wit's end, it helps to find the words logically. Thank you for a terrific game!!!

Too many ads.. I really enjoy play this game because some of the puzzles are challenging and they keep the neurons firing. But there are far too many ads—there’s an ad after EVERY game. I play other Branium games and the others have far fewer ads than Jumbline 2. Why so many on this game? I understand that I have the option to pay a fee to eliminate ads, but why would I do that? You are already being paid for including the ads—-so why would I double pay you to eliminate them? So I’ll play Jumbline 2 until I tire of the insipid ads—then I’ll delete the app, like I’ve done with other games. Thanks—as long as it lasts.

Disruptive ads. I enjoy Jumbeline 2, and tolerate the ads between puzzles (they’re reasonable compared to other games), but occasionally an ad will pop up in the middle of a game and revert to a blank screen. When I close the blank screen another opens in its place, again and again. Eventually it will stop, but start up again maybe 5 minutes later or 5 days later, at random.

Fun and Challenging Game. I love this game! I love that there are words of all different letter amounts, so you’re continuously challenged, but not stressed. I can’t wait to see how large the words get as I progress. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that there isn’t a Hint option for words you just cannot seem to get in a reasonable amount of time. (I play Untimed…life has enough stress as it is.) So, I requested the designers if they could add a Hint option. 🤞

Way too many ads. This game has been a favorite for as long as I can remember as far back as playing Text Twist on the computer...until about a week ago, the ads would pop up every 2-3 minutes between a round. Suddenly, the game starts playing ads between EVERY round, regardless whether it takes 20 seconds to finish or time expires at 2 minutes. I emailed about this and they responded with pretty much, “Too bad, so sad...upgrade if you don’t like it.” I got one better...’DELETE’. Too bad, I really liked this game

Jumbline2. I love the challenge of these word games! I am totally addicted to trying to better myself. It helps me to think faster and "out of the box." Hopefully it will also help keep dementia out of my vocabulary! Only problem-they don't accept a lot of words that are so ordinary and accepted by some of their other games. I have even sent in some of the words that I think they should accept and they're still not accepted! Lately there are too many adds! Worst problem is that an ad comes on and then will not disappear and I have to delete the game!

Ads killed the game -. I’m not against ad sponsored games. But it’s now taking almost 30 seconds between games. And, in some cases, the only way to exit the ad is to let the ad go to the ap store so you can decline the ap. Then you have to go back to the game. The iPad version has a permanent ad banner at the bottom and is a much better way to play. Update ——- I deleted the app from my phone. I just couldn’t take it. I wonder how they are going to make money as people stop playing. Guess I do t care since they don’t care about us.

One of my favorite games. I entered this review a few days ago: “Yesterday, i loved this game. Today, there are truly obnoxious ads. I’ll check back in a week to see if they’re gone. If not, I’ll try another game.” I haven’t seen that ad again. Most ads are innocuous. I enjoy the game and am getting better at it, which, I hope , means I’m exercising my (74 year old) brain.

Noisy music is going to make me delete this game.. I have enjoyed this game for a long time, and I understand that it is paid advertising that supports the free version. But, recently the game will blast music at me even though I have the "music" and "sounds" settings turned off. This doesn't seem to be associated with any ad - noisy ads would also be unacceptable, for what it is worth. I often play at night next to my sleeping spouse and a sudden blast of sound will wake him. I guess I will look for another similar game that doesn't force sound on its players. My rating would have been (and used to be) five stars before this happened.

More Time!. After playing Jumbline Light for years, I’ve been forced to upgrade to Jumbline 2 with my newer phone. The new words are great and the graphics are nice, but I really do miss the VERY NECESSARY 30 seconds you cut off in the upgrade. I want to enjoy the game and get as many words as possible without having to get into a panic! Can you please extend the time or at least provide an option for it? Thanks!

Developers responded & fixed problem 😀. This is my favorite game.. but every time the Gardenscapes ad pops up & I try to exit it, my screen goes black & resets! VERY FRUSTRATING 😡 I have stopped playing because I end up “fighting” with this ad for over an hour & only end up with 15 min of gameplay. ***Update*** Thank you for responding.. it has stopped crashing! I really love playing! Thanks for resolving this issue 💜

Time to Go. Had played for years, but cannot stand the updates with ridiculous or non-existent words, accentuated by ads after every round that take longer than actual play time. You give every reviewer the same cut-and-paste response, proving you don’t care about our game-play experience. You want to make money, I get it. But when will developers and advertisers finally get that making players want to delete the game is self-defeating? As a health care worker, I look to games as stress-relief, especially since COVID hit. Now this game is more stressful than stress relieving. You ruined a great game.

Fix this Bug! (And then they did.). Okay, I'm updating my review to five stars—the developers actually emailed me and fixed the bug! Here is what I had written: This is a wonderful game and I used to love playing it. For several days, one particular ad maddeningly causes the game to not load. The promo/demo for _Game of War: Fire Age_ often repeats five or more times before allowing you to advance! 😡😡😡 Correct this and I'd give the game five stars.

Increasingly turning down legitimate words. I love this game, but not as much as I used to. Increasingly, I find that legitimate words are refused and not counted. I don’t know if my vocabulary has grown because of the game and other word games, but I do know that “sedum” is the name of a common succulent plant, but that it was refused just a minute ago. Such rejection of normal words is getting to be common in Jumbline 2 these days. It used to be that if you could form a word from the available letters in common English dictionaries - one which fits into an available blank space and which is not a proper noun, the player would be credited for it. That is frequently no longer the case, and that is no-end irritating. What’s up?

Noisy ads that won’t go away ruin the game.. I have been playing this game for a long time and enjoy it. Unfortunately, the video ads have come back again and some of them don’t honor the sound muting of the game, while others put an X in the upper left corner that does not end the ad - it just takes you to the App Store. You have to watch the full 30 seconds to finally get an X in the upper right corner to go back to the game. It ruins the game for me.

Weird words. I love this game but lately you are using words that no one knows or are used in some dialects etc. This makes the game less fun because almost any combination of letters can make a word. I have stopped playing it. I need to update this review. I actually got an email from the developer saying I had inadvertently clicked the expert word game rather than classic. My mistake. So nice they get 5 stars for a great game and great communication!

Great game, one pitfall. Great game! There always seems to be new words I haven't seen. It's a solid game to keep your mind going or master some repetition of patterns. I find it a great way to make my mind stop racing and fall asleep at night. However, you make me watch five seconds of a noisy ad that I am unable to at least mute and I delete you. I'd rather pay for an app that doesn't have obnoxious interruptions. Maybe that's why it was free...

Refusal to remove a word. I contacted this site several months ago regarding a word that is offensive and heinous to a great many people. Lyncher has only one meaning and refers to one of the most horrible crimes in the history of the United States. I was assured that it was an oversight and that the word would be removed. Obviously that was a lie. It is unfortunate that whatever entity is responsible for this site does not recognize acknowledge or care about this matter. Although I’m sure it also doesn’t matter that I will no longer utilize this game but that is the only answer I can give.

Great game. It is great that possible words are listed alphabetically so it helps you think of the missing possibilities. Only problem is the achievements section does not award you in many areas when you should have been awarded those achievements and points. Also, many words are not accepted whilst playing the game. You can submit words, which is great. They should allow you to choose versions of spelling before you begin the game, for example English as compared to American. So often I have not thought of a word because it is how they spell a word in America and not how we spell it in Australia.

It’s in American, not English!!. Please allow choice of language - English and American. The app is also selective in the words it accepts. Accepts “Bible” which is a proper noun but does not accept “Romans”. Cox is not a word? Oxford and Cambridge will have something racy to say on that! 🚣🏻‍♀️ Also keeps crashing in a loop every now and then. Otherwise appreciate the ordering of words making it easier to think under time limits

Keeps on crashing after closing an ad. Good mental exercise and learn some new words. However, the app will crash whenever I close an ad banner.

Great little game!. A good little app! Change the number of letters required to find your words and the challenge gets tougher

A bit random?. Some of the words you would think you could make, you can't, but then it'll come up with words you've never heard of??? Otherwise it beats counting cars while waiting for a bus! waiting for a bus

Fun but could be better. Very addictive but frustrating game. Heaps of real words aren't included and many of the answers are grammatically incorrect. However, I like the dictionary function and it's overall a fun game. I agree re. others' comments about inappropriate content of ads on a game that kids play.

Addictive and exciting. Awesome stuff. Addictive. Keeps the mind fresh. Loads of words and variety. Helps me learn everyday. Gives me meaning for words I don't know. Couldn't have asked for a better game.

Good but a few issues. I enjoy this game. I play it on the train to uni. My issues with the game are the number of adds and that every few games when you press start the app closes itself. My final issue is that the game refuses to accept Australian words eg ute and roo.

Tricky but fun. The game is tricky at times especially on 7 level words, but it is also very fun and takes up a lot of my time. The only problems I have with the game is that I think it is missing a multiplayer mode and a wide variety of mini games.

Jumbline2. Great game and addictive. Except for constant ads on gambling and dating. Totally unsuitable for game involving young kids. Take away one star for that, Also cancel button on several ads pushes you to website meaning we will remmove this very eductional tool from kids devices

Fun game, two flaws. Really like this game bar two things - in-game dictionary has stopped working. Takes me to safari every time now. Very annoying. Secondly, wish you could shuffle after bringing some letters down. Can only shuffle with all letters up.

Addicted. I play this so much, it has become daily routine. Learnt words didn't know existed and get a buzz when I find the large word.

Unplayable. Come on techos. Please fix the problem with it freezing. Both versions are doing it.

Ridiculous Words. Why such an obscure and impossible-to-know array of words now?? I liked it when this game involved terms in normal English usage, not bizarre unheard of ‘derivations’ of obsolete language from arcane sources.

Aussie. Very very addictive. Can't get any housework done 😃. Missing some words but don't want to stop to write them down, plus I'm in Australia - diff words maybe?

Great game. I love this game. I've been playing it nearly every day for over 6 months, whereas other games I get bored of. Especially love the background clouds floating. And like the new quicker dictionary.

Enjoyable. Like the fact that this app sorts the words in alphabetical order making it easier to guess all the combos.

Great but. Lately it's been crashing occasionally after a game is complete. Trying to load it back up puts it in a loop of crashing and won't let you continue until you completely exit the app and start over.

Love it!!!. Addictive game which has diverted my attention away from all the other word games I play! The cloud game option a bit lame but the others are fantastic!!

Basic, but annoying. I’ve played this off and on for several years. The basic concept of the game is OK and playable. However this is seriously marred by: - Ads, particularly recently with ads that pop up 15 to 30 seconds after you have dismissed them. The ads for Homescapes is a prime example. - the limited vocabulary available with many valid words excluded and a focus on colloquial abbreviations and Americanisms. I’ve had enough and will find an alternative.

Mostly enjoyable. Unfortunately many existing words are not usable. There are very obscure scientific words, and more common ones are not usable..

I'm impressed. Several options for game play, real words and the option to have a timer or not, this is probably my favorite word game on the app store.

Love it!. I've been playing this for months and months, maybe a year now, and still really enjoy it. I love that it's so easy to manipulate the letters and that you can tap on a word for a definition. Highly recommended.

Jumbline. Excellent game but very frustrating for me as a non American! I know many more words than you appear to, judging by the number you reject. Your spelling is also very dubious! If I could find another game which uses correct English instead of American I would play it. Until then.......

Good game "except for words I know I've highlighted" and aren't acknowledged". Still having the same problem - words I've highlighted (more than once) are not recognized AND when it runs out of time, guess what...the words I underlined are on the board. This is my pet peeve - I highlight a word I know should go onto the board, when the game ends, there's the word "on the board"...but not recognized when I did it. I not only swipe it once I've done it a few times, still doesn't acknowledge it. I've played this game for a long time now & I really liked it....NOW ITS JUST FRUSTRATING.😕

Player. I enjoy the game a lot but am frustrated that many real words are not accepted and words that should be proper nouns using capital letters are accepted.

Solid, fun word game. Similar to Text Twist. Solid word unscramble game, with the listings in alphabetical order, which provides built-in hints when you're stuck. Different modes of play keeps things fresh. However, the game could really benefit from an expanded dictionary -- it's frustrating when it won't accept very common words. Overall a keeper!

Jumbline 2 very disappointed!!. This my favourite all time game and I was up to around level 2000. Why today did my iPad sign me in with a nick name and start me over at level 1??? No way to get back to my current level. Very disappointed and don’t want to start over!!!

Fun game ruined by ads. This is a fun game, but the ads are intrusive and very difficult to dismiss once they attack. It was so bad that I deleted it. The old version 1.0 didn’t have ads like this, and the game could be enjoyed. Not this version. Too bad. I’m sure the aggressive ads will cost the author a lot of potential sales.

Fun but has issues. This game is fun but wish it functioned better. Sometimes the works you input aren’t accepted. But then will be there when you skip to finish. The tap for definition feature doesn’t work which is a major disappointment. Freezes often.

Was really fun. I love this game and have it installed on all of my devices. But lately on my iPhone the game has been crashing and freezing up. Sometimes I have to restart it 3 or 4 times before I can actually play it. It has become very annoying

App works well but.... No problem with app but it needs to have a larger word base. The phone app allows submission of word suggestions; however, the tablet app does not. Nonetheless, game is fun and addictive.

Fun for Wordies.... Great for word puzzle fans and interesting too, because you can click on any word to get the definition. I've learned a couple new words since I started playing Jumbline and Jumbline2.

Going to delete this app. I like this game. I’ve been playing it for years but I can’t handle the adds. There’s no way to get rid of them. I simply refuse to look at them. Period.

Really Fun!. I really enjoy this game. I’ve been playing it for a long time, but lately there is one ad for a game, where you redecorate a mansion or something, that keeps coming up and when I hit the X to close the ad, the screen goes black and the app closes. If you could fix that I would be so happy!

Lots of fun but..... The game many times requires obscure words but doesn’t include all words that can be made with the given letters. I regularly try words that are easily found in the dictionary but are not included in the “allowed” words.

Fun, but limited vocabulary. I've played this game off and on for years. I enjoy the format and challenging puzzles. I always come to a point where the limited dictionary frustrates me so much where I have to put it down. There is no pattern, that I can detect, as to which words are acceptable and which aren't. If the designers could fix this flaw, it would be a great game.

Never Gets Old. I love this game. With all the different types of gameplay you can chose from, it really never gets old. Always entertaining, and it makes you think. It isn't just mindless entertainment like some games can be.

Like the game. I enjoy playing your game. Only complaint is that you can’t change to different modes without completely ending the current game and loosing your levels or progress. Like changing from 5 to 6 or 7 words, or switching to timed mode.

App going downhill…fast. This was, for several years, my favorite app. The ads were acceptable at first but lately have gotten so long with ridiculous offerings, I’m deleting this app as soon as I send in this review. And I see no way to purchase a ‘no ads’ version…so Jumbline is going to meet my delete key right now. It was a great app, but not anymore. Sad…..

What is going on with the disgusting ads!!!. I love this game however, lately they have added such disgusting advertising for a game that is unfit for kids. I play this game with my grandchildren and now I can’t because of these horrible ads.

The ads are terrible!. Like your game. I’ve repurchased this and won’t do so again. I will probably stop playing if your ads don’t improve. The Hospital game shows disgusting infections with the pus coming out of them!! Please clean it up!

Addicting!. Love this Game! it's very addicting. The music puts me in a trance so I play without it. Other than that I'm enjoying it. The ads can crash my game but it picks up where I left off.

Pretty Fun.... Well I was enjoying this game thoroughly when I decided to switch and play the 7 letter for the expert word. I was on level 100 with the 6 letter. After I played a few of the 7 letter games I decided to go back to 6. It took me back to level 1 instead of level 100! That's ridiculous! AND now many of the words don't seem like real words anymore! Not happy. I'm not going to play as much anymore...I'm sad.

Rapidly turned into my favorite game!. Love this game! I play whenever I have a free moment. It challenges and helps me keep my mind active and creative. To the naysayers, words can have different spellings-- so open your mind and learn.

Love/hate. I absolutely love this game and have for years but I cannot believe the absurd amount of ads. After every single puzzle!!!! I can’t take it anymore. I don’t want to have to delete it but I will soon if there isn’t a fix. Thank you And I’ve gone through every word several times. Could use a word update and graphics change as well.

Used to be fun. Deleted. Every time a level was completed (which can be as few as one or two words) you either have to sit through an ad or close and restart the app. When the commercials significantly exceed the playtime, it is time to write off the app and move on. (Trust me, if I didn’t like the ad the first time, showing it again a minute later isn’t going to win me over.)

Intense word game. I rarely write a review, but this game is one of the harder word games I’ve played! It’s well worth your while if you like to challenge your mind! Drives me crazy! 😂

Fun most of the time. The puzzles are great and I rarely get a repeat word that I’ve already seen. I love the variety of difficulty levels to choose from. The only negative is that sometimes the intro screen for Brainium freezes and the game can’t be accessed unless I unload and reload the game thereby losing any accumulated history.

Love the game but the ads are longer than the levels. Used to be you could play the game without having to negotiate multiple screens to get off the ad. I realize that pays the bills , but really, the ad is longer than the level I just played.

This is a great game. I used to play a game called text twist on my phone ,but this game is much better because you actually get to see the words you’ve already guessed instead of guessing the same word over and over. Great game and the background music is awesome

Game changes. I used to rate this five stars, but the eligible word list seems to have changed so that there are a lot fewer words. I don’t like this change at all and don’t understand why you would change the game after all this time. Added comments: I have noticed that some of the eligible words are offensive terms for various minority groups. All eligible words need to be reviewed and offensive slang and slurs should be removed.

"Game of War" pop-up ads. Getting very tired of my game crashing every time the "Game of War" ad comes in between levels. Jumbleline has to be restarted numerous times because of this ad. This problem is getting quite irritating.

WAS a good game. I played this for years and enjoyed immensely; but then they increased the rate and length of the ads so much that I rarely play it. Then when I do open it, I’m reminded why I stopped playing it. I understand that the developer(s) need income, but they have gone way over the threshold. I’ll probably delete this game the next time I open it.

Issue after October 12, 2018 update. I have been using this app for years. Suddenly after this last update, the game freezes a lot. I have already shut down and restarted my phone, but the freezing mid-game continues. I am using iPhone X. Hope you can fix the issue. Thanks.

Great app. This is a great way to kill time, like at the doctors office, it takes your mind off when they are running behind, just don't forget to listen for your name..lol.

I used to love this game. But now that they have added so many foreign and completely obscure words as the only option to pass a level I never play it anymore. I would give examples....but I can’t. I am very well read ...but would have to screenshot things like name of the type of some currency from some long collapsed country that I have never even heard of 😓

Forced To Uninstall. Th ads are so ridiculous and intrusive. They literally freeze up my game all the time. I get way more annoyance than enjoyment out of this and it’s a shame because it’s a great game. But I just can’t handle the constant disruption. I spend more time watching the ads than playing the game when it is working.

No 7 letter words. I have quickly become addicted to this game. Even though I have pressed the button to get games containing 7-letter words, I’m still only getting words with no more than 6 letters. Is there a level I need to attain before getting 7-letter words? Thanks.

Jumbline. I really enjoy the mental challenges offered by the different levels of this game. I've been playing it for years and have recommended it to others!

Antiquated and Super Obscure Words. I used to play this all of the time, but a few months ago, they clearly updated the word bank to include a much broader pool of words. Examples of these uncommon and obscure words just from the most recent games I played: “sloyds”, “sovran”, “ars”, “avo”, “arvo”, “naos”, “osar”, “vars”. This recent change has made the game significantly less fun to play.

Updates bring problems. Last update has automatic pop ups showing Passed Level 50, Passed Level 100, etc all the way up to Level 3000. Then screen freezes. Phone has to be shut off and restarted before being able to play again. Very frustrating.

Fun but frustrating. I like this game. It’s a great way to pass the time but it’s frustrating when real words are not included in the solution list. For example, the 7 letter word was “sidings” but not “dissing” yet “diss” was one of the 4-letter words. It will have “lab” but not “alb”. Work on this.

Amazing Fun!. I have been playing this game for several years and I never tire of it! It challenges me by making me think about all the possible letter sequences to come up with the words that are needed to solve each level. I try to play very day!
