HVAC Load Plus App Reviews

Training and Tutorial Videos. I just did the download yesterday and have been trying out the app. In the app description at the bottom it says there is Training and Tutorial Videos..I see the training page but no videos? Would be a great help if there in fact was a video or two to help with the training on how to use the app. Please post some video like stated above. Great Application!!! Now I want to buy an IPad just for a larger screen to use this app in customer homes and businesses Thanks Carmel

Great reporting. I've been using this app for a couple weeks now, and my clients really like the reports it produces, especially the pie-charts. It has helped me close more business so I hope my competitors don't get a hold of it. My only wish is that you could customize some of the reports so I could email them directly to the client as opposed to emailing them to myself, modifying it, then emailing. Maybe next version. Great job.

Block loads. Great hvac block load program. This has been quite useful for my hvac repair biz where I need to do quick loads to give my customers an approximate quote. I wish it had some pricing info in it, but maybe next version. I've used this app much more than i thought because it is so useful.

Quick energy audits. I know this app doesn't quite do energy audits, but i am a tech for a solar installer and this does help with that whole process of determining cooling loads, etc. It's really useful once i email the results back to my office and then do further analysis on it that is required for our business. I look forward to the native iPad version, that will be a killer.

Useful app!. I’ve been using this app for years, and it’s very useful. The update is even more so with the Equipment Locator built right in. Even though it’s not a full ACCA Manual J8 app, it’s good enough for me to do fairly accurate loads out in the field. I like the reporting, too. Great app!

No updates. Developer does not take care of this app there are no updates it feels like you’re working with a Calculator. I got a new phone and lost all of my loads that I have done in the past there’s no way to export them out. Software is hard to use and not intuitive recommend going to right soft mobile

Looks ok so far. I am looking forward to using this in the field in front of clients. However on the iPad the graphics when exploded to 2x are fuzzy. I feel like I am going cross eyed. Looking forward to seeing a true iPad version with a crisp, easier to read display.

Great for homeowners and pros. I love this app, I used it to calc the loads to replace the two ACs in my house when I couldn't find desktop PC software to do the manual j. When the contractors came over for bids they wanted to get this app too. It is easy to compare "what if" scenarios by adding insulation to the construction type etc.

Cool App if you are into OK. Several quantifiers are a bit enigmatic for this App. For those like me who avoid customer service, I will need more time to establish confidence in its recommendations. Regardless, it is a very helpful program.

This is a game changer. This app has pretty much changed the way I do business. I can now do quick and accurate loads out in the field then email the results back to my laptop so I can do further analysis. This really is a game-changer.

Works good!. I have been in the HVAC industry for over 50 years. I downloaded and installed HVAC Load Plus and plugged in the house a friend just bought. Came up with exactly the system I ballparked in my head but, now I have something to back up my 'calculations'. Four stars for now, until I've used it a few more times.

Disappointed. Bad that it only does 1000 sq ft . Few home are that small. Makes you do room by room then put them all together for total
