AI makes odd plays. Playing single with the AI partner the partner plays cards that make no sense and will lose you the points when you could/should have won. Example: last game I played. Spades are trump. Opponent to my right leads off suit ace. I throw the right bower, the jack of spades. Opponent to my left throws an off suit card. I have it obviously. My AI partner throws the left bower, the Jack of clubs. Uh, WHAT? Then we end up losing the set because my partner had no more trump and would have won had it not played it’s only trump card when it did. Another example: hearts are trump. My right side opponent leads trump, the 9 of hearts. I throw the left bower, the Jack of diamonds. Left side opponent throws the queen of hearts. I have it. AI partner throws the right bower the Jack of hearts and takes it. I then believe that that was the only trump card they could play. Because I already had the trick but my AI partner trumped me. Well then my AI partner leads and throws a 10 of hearts. WHAT? We then lose being the opponents had the ace of hearts. Ridiculous.

Menace. Read Flyinjeep’s review! It’s the same way for me! Don’t understand why he gave it a “5 star” rating though? I consider myself as good a euchre player as you will find as I have the reputation and paid my way through college playing it, including $100/game, $50/set! But as Flyinjeep said, the deals cannot be random as I have played days with 4 suited hands every deal! I’ve never dealt that many bad hands in my life! Try stopping a loner or setting someone with hands like that! Also, I have told the developers that in the single game format, the players are the the stupidest players in the world and no one would learn how to play the game correctly from them! I told them they should develop their game from the book of Hoyle which explains the basics of euchre! I have a partner in singles called Shark who is everything but! He will pass almost all the time, leads Aces when he has both Jacks in trump, get set because he gets his Aces trumped (It’s like playing 3 against 1), will not lead trump for you when you make trump, even though he has even the right bower, makes trump when he shouldn’t and doesn’t when he should! The other players are just as stupid! Please, please redevelop you’re app to play sensibly for everybody’s sake! You have the resources to do this, use them!!!

Worst euchre game. First off, ads are absolutely ridiculous. For some of them you have to exit out of them multiple times (after exiting one, it goes to another screen where you have to exit again). In some instances, you press the exit button and it takes you to the App Store. I’m here to play euchre, not click bait. Secondly, some of the ads are in different languages and i don’t know how to exit because there is no “x” and one of the two options probably says “cancel” in a different language. As for the actual game, there are way too many instances of loners when you are winning 9 to 6 and the opponent wins 9-10. This game is not a good replication of true euchre with a deck of cards. They say it’s “random,” but the losing and winning streaks say otherwise. I’ve played euchre for years, and this app should be taken out with the trash with the rest of the garbage next Tuesday.

Computer and tricks. Developer says hand are random and computer doesn’t cheat. False. I’ve played this game for years because I like it, but it is not always fair. I’ve played complete games where I get mostly 9s and 10s. Hand after hand. This doesn’t even happen this much in real life. Computer also steals tricks, I see it all the time. Just now I played the right bower and opponent took the trick. Usually when this happens the game speeds up real fast so if you’re not paying attention you don’t see it. Also why can’t we choose help or feedback within the game? When I click on them it says to create an email with no way to do so. If buying the game eliminates these problems I would gladly buy it

The last straw. Just played a rated game where my partner left before the first hand was even dealt. I decided to stick it out and try it with AI. Things were going okay at first but AI kept making all the calls, not giving me a chance to really play. When I could call trump, we got the euchre or the point. So it’s not like I was making bad calls. AI made a bad call at the end which got us euchred and cost us the game. And I was docked -10 points!!! That’s the most I’ve ever been docked in a rated game! While the teammate who abandoned me first round lost 9!! So I was punished more for a bad AI and a crappy partner?? Developers need to fix the rated game play because scoring doesn’t make sense and the game is clearly rigged. Also I’m pretty sure my last review was deleted. I can’t find it and I had posted it only a week ago. It should be easy to find. I’m losing all respect for this app and the developers ignoring bad reviews won’t help with any sort of progress or trust in this game. I’m fed up and it’s reasonable to be so.

Nope.. The graphics are great and the gameplay is smooth, but the cards are anything but random. If you’ve played Euchre with real people who actually know what they’re doing, you’ll be able to feel it when you play. Nobody’s opponents always turn up exactly what they need to beat you all the time. I have no problem losing a hand or a game or ten games, but I do have a problem with the logic of the computers. The opponent AI’s table talk like their lips are made of said table. Your partner is dim-witted at best. If you’re a beginner looking to learn the rules and basic strategy, this is a phenomenal app that will suit your purposes marvelously. If you’re a serious player looking for a real game, find some friends, invite them over, pour a Tom Collins, and enjoy the cards that way. Have a drink and wait for someone to make a Euchre app that relies on a self-reinforcement learning algorithm to run the AI’s instead of whatever they run on now.

Review of Euchure app. I learned Euchre as a kid. Many adults in our neighborhood played together, while us kids hung out. I haven’t played in over 30years for many reasons. No one I met in GA or TN ever heard of it over the last 10 years. I recently started playing solitare again. I do prefer a real deck with real people. Im trying to teach my grandchildren some fun card games. Recently i down loaded words with friends & found one of my childhood neighborhood friends on WWF & she told me about being able to play Euchre as partners.? I was floored😳.... shocked. Long story short we won our first match playing together about a week ago. It is wonderful, though Im creeped out sometimes about what tech. Can do. Thanks for the game Deb Pro

Very Good euchre app, few exceptions. This app is great for time wasting. It’s smooth and the ai gameplay is good. Multiplayer has a few issues for me that keep it from being a 5 star game. Each player has a certain amount of time to make a play before they can be kicked. It is WAY too much time. I haven’t timed it yet, but it feels like an eternity. It’s infuriating because people will intentionally wait until the last possible second, then make a play to stay in the game. They will do this EVERY TURN. The other thing I’ve noticed is that I’m convinced somehow that players can cheat and know your hand. Case in point, just played a game where my partner and I both had lay down loner hands at different points in the game, but the opponent knew it and ordered up trump to keep us from getting the 4 point loners. How would someone know that intentionally get euchered is the best possible outcome of a hand for them? Twice in the same game? I don’t think so.

Ex-Fan. I love playing Euchre with friends. It is the ONLY card game I like to play. Sadly, Euchre seems to be a regional game so finding folks who know HOW to play can be difficult. I am a VERY good player & partner. Imagine my joy when I found the free version in the App Store. The game looked good & moves pretty well. I sometimes wondered about the way the game was programmed to play in a few Instances, but generally it was a decent game. It was good enough so that when I found out the same folks made a “pay for it” version of the same game, I (virtually) plunked down my $4.99 and began to play. SADLY, the new, “paid” version is quite a disappointment. My AI partner, whom I have (non) affectionately named “Bonehead” has improved his boneheaded ways ... somewhat ... but my big issue is that it would seem that except for the occasional good hand, I now seem to only get Queens, tens, and nines in the hand I’m dealt. To make matters worse, my Qs, 10s, and 9s seldom include trump! The opponents nearly always make their loans on improbable (or “lucky”) hands, while I regularly fail to make my loans. I can nearly ALWAYS count on my opponent to my left having the Ace to my off suit. “Bonehead” has better luck with his loans than I, (for some odd reason) so there is one slight improvement from the free vs. paid version of this Euchre online game. All in all, I only continue to play this “pay-to-play” version BECAUSE I paid for it!

9’s & 10’s. I love to play euchre & am impressed with layout of this game. I don’t need special features to drain my battery. However when I play euchre for real I never get that many 9’s & 10’s in a row for multiple games. I only play the free single version because I can’t sign in with an email for multiplayer. My partner will call trump with the left & one other trump; or make it with only 3 trump cards (none being a bower) & terrible off cards. When trump is made my partner will only lead a bower if my OPPONENT made trump. The only exception is if my partner make trumps & does lead a bower, I know for a fact it is going to take all the trump as if it’s going alone. Then I’m left with crap cards. I just updated the game to see how it is. But if these problems remain I will delete the app. It’s just too frustrating.

Keep saying it, but it’s NOT random. I have played euchre for decades in real life and have played this version for a while. I’m a pretty good player but you would never know it from this game. There is no way the deals are random. The feel to this game is off. There are way too many deals in a row with tens and queens being the highest card… and most times four-suited. There are also way too many loners in this game. That doesn’t happen in real life to the extent it does here. It’s like the hands are all or nothing. It takes the fun out of playing. I’ll play until I use up the coins I paid for then I’m done. I also don’t like that there’s no penalty for players who skip out early, often when they are close to a likely loss. They hold up the flow of the game. The time to boot them should be shortened and and they should be penalized for this behavior.

Ads are getting out of control. Sure, the gameplay is only average. AI players (and developers) have no sense of Hoyle when it comes to the game. And aggressive settings just increase the odds that your hands will be terrible. However, when I started playing this game years ago, the ads were only in between games. About last year, there started to be a mid-game break for an ad and that was tolerable because most of the time they lasted 15 seconds or less. However, since 2021 began, the ads are happening at least twice per game and I’ve even had 4 ads during the same game. To make it worse, they’re mostly 30 seconds long now with no way to close them out early. I get that the developers are trying o make money, but you don’t do that by frustrating the players to the point that they go looking for another way to play and/or delete the app altogether. Personally, I’m at the trial stage with other Euchre apps.

Best of a bad lot, but boring AI play. I am a long-time AI player of this, and while it’s the best euchre game I’ve found for the iPad, as others have rightly pointed out it’s got flaws that make it very frustrating to play. The biggest flaw is the horrible hands you hold as declarer; these are not truly “random deals.” There’s a bug in the algorithm that skews South (your hand) receiving a steady diet of kings and below, while your opponents - especially West - holds aces & up. Your partner will call a loner on fumes (no bowers) and go set regularly, regardless of his setting for aggressive play. He will fail to lead the right bower in critical situations. AIs do have far to go to “think” like a human in card play, which is certainly forgivable here. However ***hand after hand of lousy, clearly not random cards - ones not even good for defense - should have been fixed long ago.*** Boring card games are just no fun.

Not a serious Euchre game. My family takes the game of Euchre VERY serious and if any member would ever play the way the AI (artificial idiot) programmed into this game, they would be asked to leave the table and not return until they learn to play the game. The author(s) of this game should consider consulting with some real Euchre players. I realize that strategic play is not written in the rules of the game but good players understand that you don’t take you partners trick with a higher trump, right bower over your partners Ace and then play a smaller trump, a 10. Passing dirty in my family will get you expelled from the game for life, not with this game. Its almost feels like the AI opponents know what you have and pass so you will call it n then you go set. I’ve read other reviews about the cards dealt. I thought it was just my luck but maybe there is something to it but the AI issues are not imagined and not by chance, just poor programming.

Don't bother until they offer a paid version. The game plays well, half the time. The other half of the time?. Your teammates get dropped often, leaving you with a CPU teammate who gets you eurchred 3-4 times a game. Wouldn't be so bad but you still lose rating because they can't figure out how to create proper AI. You can't talk to your team, that's fine. But the other team can spam messages constantly which can cause you to miss your turn or be unable to play your cards. What happens then? You get kicked. The adds used to just be at the top of the screen, that's fair. You need to support the game, I get it. Now the adds play several times During the game, in effect making games last twice as long sometimes. And there is no option to pay for the game and be ad free. I had to remove it after it spammed 3 ads in a row causing every player in the game but me to drop. There are other eurchre apps that are far less annoying.

Developers say this game is fair and cards are random……. I have played this game many times and random is not what is happening here. The algorithm is for ad revenue and not fair game play. I typically play ranked games, I speculate that hand strength and card distributions are based on the ad clicks. When playing opponents with higher ranking, the higher ranked pair total wins vast majority of the time. I have never purchased anything from the ads and have had terrible card distribution experience consistently. I speculate that the paywall weights the card distribution. Buried aces are very rare, buried bowers are just as rare, and low distributed 4 suited hands are typical. Expect non typical card odds when playing this game. I have been an IRL euchre player for 35+ years and the “random” hot streaks are consistently weighted for someone other than me. I must be an outlier, as I just had a 8 game loosing streak and have never been able to get past the 1800 level. IRL skills do not factor when playing this game. Be ware of expectations when playing and understand that this game is a means for developers to have the most amount of ad revenue under the disguise of a fair game like all other free games.

Full size pop up ads not authors fault. Edited: I defended this program a few years ago. Unfortunately now they force a 35 second ad halfway through the game that you have to stop the game and twiddle your thumbs while it plays out. It went from a game I enjoyed to kill some time with to a game I don’t want to play because of the ads. Not going to pay to avoid them either. Greed appears to have taken over for the developer. Old review: I have been playing this game for a long time. When the full screen popups started I contacted the authors support site and within 2 hours they had contacted me back advising that they had blocked the advertising network that was shoving out the full size screen ads and that they are in the process of changing their ad provider to eliminate that kind of stuff from happening again. You get more done by contacting support than just writing a bad review. This game is an excellent basic version of euchre. Yes, the AI does make some interesting moves like going alone with hardly anything, but it's not like it happens all the time. I would like to see some additional switches like STD or partners best but compared to other euchre games I have downloaded this one is solid and worth your time, either the free version or the paid version.

Unrealistic Games + Bad Ads. I really want to like this app b/c I love euchre, however the algorithm/AI or whatever is terrible. I play euchre all the time in real life competitively and there are NEVER so many loners in games. I would say every game has at least has 1-2 successful loners…if not 3. It’s just not realistic. Also, I will go on losing streaks of like 10 games where it’s simply impossible to win a game…then suddenly I will go and win 10 games where it’s simply outrageously good hands and the other team has no chance. I have to adapt and play differently on the app than in real life and that’s a shame. And then there are the ads. I get it, that’s how an app makes $$$, but some of these ads you have to click on like 3 times to get out of it. DO BETTER. Make the card play more realistic.

Okay. One of my main issues are the available comments in rated play. Players, bc they are impatient humans, will often use the “let’s go” comment excessively. It doesn’t even happen to me that often, but I get irritated with it being used all the time. Don’t have it as an option. It’s unnecessary and encourages bad behavior. The game reminds you if it’s your turn and you haven’t laid a card. After that players can boot you from the game. That’s sufficient. Don’t allow jerks who take just as much time to make a play but aren’t self aware to harass other players. Also, I’ve left a couple of games due to inappropriate ongoing sexual comments - I shouldn’t be penalized for that as a warning came up about consequences for leaving the game. Why? It wasn’t even a rated game. This game would be also be better with more options for different types of play like No Trump, Bottoms, etc.

Good App - Some issues. First of all; $20 to remove ads? That’s ridiculous. Next, as most people have mentioned, your “randomizer” needs work. I just had a game where every single hand had at least 3 9s or 10s. It just seems strange sometimes, but I hope it’s just a streak of bad luck. Most importantly, your rating system is absolutely flawed!! Ratings should be based on individual merit and not a combined team score! When I have a terrible partner given to me at random, I should not have to pay for his sabotage! If someone wins but played poorly, they shouldn’t gain points! If they win but played well, they shouldn’t lose points! Random partners makes it difficult. Lastly, please implement some sort of reporting button in rated games for those who “table-talk”. When I see a highly ranked player saying “nice one” when something is turned up, it’s obvious cheating! You should be able to view their chat patterns and ban/demote then for continuous abuse. I hope some of these concerns are met. Thank you!

What happened…. Couple three weeks ago, things got weird! I play a lot cards but all of a sudden the two opponents started “cross trumping.” That happens now and then, but not every other game and even twice in one game. I play this app several times a day and in four years have only seen this maybe a couple dozen times! Also, at first I thought it was my imagination, but then my wife commented above it to. About every couple games, you lead a card, especially in trump, and the opponent plays off signifying that they are out of that suite A play or two later, the opponent plays that suite! That makes it difficult to know what to play! Is there a bug in your software? Or, I do win far more than I lose so do you have some sort of equalizer in your app? Overall your app is great!

Here’s how you can tell who is going to win. First of all ads are annoying. It used to be you would close the ad by right clicking the “x” in the top right. Then they upgraded is so now you have to click an “x” in the left hand corner then click an “x” in the right hand corner. Second of all, before you start playing, look at everyone’s score. You can almost always bet whoever has the highest score will be the team that wins. Nothing to do with skill, that team just gets the better cards every time. I’ve played this app for a long time and watched this closely. I would say 95% of the time this is true. Also, at some point the AI will determine you’re going to lose. Buckle up buddy…you’ll lose 10+ games or so and drive your score way down. Then magically, it likes you and you can no wrong for 10 games. Back and forth, back and forth. Statistically baloney, I’ve played a ton of Euchre in my lifetime, and I’ve never seen such dramatically long winning or losing streaks. Lastly, if you’ve ever played real Euchre players you know this game is fast. Boom, boom, boom…game over. You should be able to boot a person right away if they don’t play. Guaranteed every game there’s ALWAYS one guy who takes forever to play then either leaves or you have to boot him.

Good Game overall. I’m a relatively new euchre player, and I’ve been playing this for a while, it very much helped me to learn to play rather than watching my family play. Many people complain about the ads, but you can just turn in airplane mode or block data/WiFi on the game. I like being able to adjust the difficulty of the ai and how aggressive the partner is. I do feel like the hands are a bit on the bad side sometimes as I can get multiple bad hands in a row, so maybe adjust the odds a bit so that it is harder to get bad hands consecutively. The graphics are great for a free phone game and the animation of the card plays are very smooth. Overall I’ve been very impressed with the game and would recommend it to people who want to learn to play euchre or people who want to kill a bit of time.

AI and programming issues!. I am an avid Euchre player, and I have played and won countless tournaments. Unfortunately the AI in this game is completely inconsistent, if my partner was willing to consistently order trump with not enough cards to support two tricks, I’d find a new partner. I have played with my AI partner in all aspects from conservative to aggressive and the tendencies are still the same... bad choices. (Teach them how to throw off, or lead out better). I also have observed on multiple occasions, AI opponents seemingly know the hand of their teammate, to order trump without having a high trump and observing the opposite player pick up four of five tricks, consistently, would get the AI team eliminated from any tournament for cheating. Programming needs to be rethought, this game is not a game of chance... just circumstance and errored programming Fix these issue and this would be a good app, until then I’ll look for a better, and more fair option. I don’t like to be cheated.

Okay at best. I’ve played so much euchre in my lifetime. I grew up in a bar. My grandparents owned it and we had euchre tournaments regularly. This is the card game I love. This app - sheesh. Multiplayer isn’t bad. It could certainly use some improvements such as better quick phrases, an improved community system where one can friend another player without giving out personal information such as phone numbers and emails. The core of the game is there though. It’s kind of hard to screw that part up unless there’s an AI in the mix. Which brings me to the crux of my review. If, like me, you just want to squeeze in a few hands between jobs or on a break and don’t have time to commit to a whole game, you’re in for a bad ride. I’ll use the example that sparked me to write this review. I had an actual loner - 4 trump, both bars and an off ace. My partner (AI) was the dealer and picked up another suite alone AND GOT EUCHRED WITH NO BARS. here’s the kicker - it was 8-9 and we lost. This isn’t the kind of decision an actual player, with minimal experience, would make. This is pretty routine behavior for the AI. It will order you a trump and has 2 in its hand and is 3 suited with no bars. The AI logic needs a drastic overhaul. If you’re not into “shut up and play” this app might not be for you. It’s hard to interface with others and the AI is brutal. Good luck. Hopefully someone writes a better app soon.

LOVE the App, but HATE HATE HATE the ADS!. So, I probably use this app every single day. I love the layout of this app, and it is so addicting. The layout is so simple and easy to work. The app is fast and is doesn’t glitch often at all. I love all the different settings you can choose for your type of game. I don’t know 100% if it’s this app I love because I am just a little bias because I just love euchre, but lately I’ve been upset with this app. And the advertisements are why. I HATE HOW MANY ADVERTISEMENTS SHOW UP. Literally if your in a single player game (yourself against computers), there is a REQUIRED VIDEO 5-10 second advertisement each time your score or your opponents score is around 5-7 points, and after every game is over, THERE IS ANOTHER REQUIRED AD. It is so irritating. This is the same thing that happens for multiply player too. I play at least once a day when I’m relaxing or taking a break, and I just can’t stand the advertisements. I just went to check how much it would be to pay for the app without the advertisements and it was $20!!!!! That is WAY TOO COSTLY TO PAY FOR AN APP WITHOUT ADS! I was very upset, and so now I am looking into other apps that may have cheaper options for opting out of euchre without advertisements....

Ads get you booted off. The set up for this game is great you can play against the computer off line or with real players if you have Wi-Fi, the main problem is they got greedy with the ads!! There is a banner that shows ads the whole time your playing, not a big deal. Then during a real game they make you watch a video that will get you kicked off the game for “inactivity” so while your stuck watching an ad your holding up all 3 players and if the ad is to long your be kicked off!!! Sometimes it will let you close the ad before being kicked off but usually all the other players are upset for taking so long to come back to play!! There should be no breakaway ads during actual game play!!

Addicting but rigged. I performed well. Even though they say it is random, I don’t believe that is the case. I think their algorithm has a higher turn rate on jacks and increases loner likelihoods for teams down say 9-6 or 9-5. If you are up 9-6, and a Jack is flipped if you don’t have it guarded just get your team euchred on purpose and try winning on your own. If you catch fire, wait for the streak of awfulness where every time the other team calls it weak their partner has what they need. I also believe aces are not in the kitty nearly as often as other cards. I believe if I had the time I could provide analytics on this. However, I am just providing my opinion on observations after 250+ games with a high rating. I decided to delete it when it was clear it was nothing like in-person playing.

Still some fixes needed….. I’ve been playing this game a lot lately. I always just play in the single mode. Our internet can be tricky sometimes so I don’t like to play other people in case it goes out. Usually, I win a few games in a row and then I lose a few games in a row. I can’t remember the last time I was able to pick up the card when I deal. Either I have a good hand and my partner orders it up, or I simply cannot pick up the card. Somehow, the player on my left almost always trumps or over trumps my play. It’s rare that they don’t. The player on my left also renigs on a regular basis to take the trick and win the hand. It’s getting quite predictable and frustrating.

Game needs many simple fixes. The adds are frequent and annoying, but other free euchre games are worse. The format of the gameplay is good and pace (ads not withstanding) good too, but there are several things that are extremely annoying, namely: - the lack of randomness in hands dealt. You will see the slight variations on the same hand for 4 hands in a row quite frequently. The randomness of the shuffles is highly questionable. There are also long runs of hands favoring one team or another that you just don’t get in real life. - lack of options, e.g. ‘ace no face’ re-deals - the quality of plays for the AI players. Related, it would be nice to be able to see a recap of the 5 tricks to verify if the other players are playing of the points properly. Here are 2 actual examples of the AI in the game: 1) my AI partner orders up trump to the other team. We go down two tricks. In the third trick my partner cannot follow suit, but instead of throwing a trump card, he throws off and we lose the third trick (because I then had to follow suit) and we get euchred. With the trump cards we both had in our hands, we could have easily won the 3 tricks if he would have thrown a trump card. 2) My partner, as the 4th player, trumps my winning Ace despite having a non-trump card in hand. We go on to loose 3-2.

Definitely not random. The amount of times your opponent is short suited to your off suit ace is incredible. I play pretty aggressively in real life so I can handle being set every now and again, but the cards are clearly rigged in favor of you losing. I think the computers are programmed to play their cards in the right order, I prefer to lead my power when I have it and they prefer to lead their off suit, but I can see both sides of the strategy. However, the computer is very regularly shorted and can trump over tricks that are regularly good when i play in real life. Whereas the reverse is almost never true. If the opponent leads an off suit ace theres about a 95% chance I have that suit and can’t trump in. I feel like that happens 3-4 times a game in real like and it happens almost every time I lead an ace in this game. Eventually it becomes so frustrating you just give up playing. Again, something I’ve never done or will ever do in real life.

Random deals my foot. I’ve played a lot of euchre over the years and there is no way this game gives random deals. There are entirely too many useless hands and loners. There’s very little skill involved as you either seem to win by a landslide or get blown out. It’s a shame because the gameplay is better than all the other games I’ve tried. I keep on playing but I have never been as frustrated as I am playing this game. My advice is not to download this game. Once you get used to the smooth, uncluttered gameplay this offers it is difficult to play anything else. If you do start prepare to be angry most of the time. If you’re good your rank will improve quickly but you will be penalized with a seemingly endless string of garbage hands.

Definitely not like a real game. To start there is a lot of really cool features to this app, enjoy the statistics, speed of play, live play & rankings it provides. The big drawback to me is that they keep track of what you are doing……meaning that if you exit too many games early they suspend you for a period of time (from one minute to one day in my experience). Which leads me to wonder if they’re keeping track of that, what else are they tracking to control your experience which is why to me it’s not a real game. I enjoy playing euchre against others & I understand that it’s not always going to go my way but I play on multiple apps & this one is the only one that I experienced long streaks of poor luck. I have gone several games without the opportunity to make a trump call in multiple occasions, losing most games by a score of 10 to 2 or something similar. Most hands consisting of 3-4 cards 9-Q with all four suits represented. Never ever have I experienced anything similar on another app or in real life & I have been playing euchre for 40 years with friends & family. Now I don’t know if this is intentional (based on tracking your interactions, and they are tracking you. Or if it’s just a bad algorithm….which is possible) but it’s a shame……my advice is buyer beware.

Not a fan. If you want to play a game where your opponents almost constantly make very low-probability calls like ordering trump when they hold A 10 9 and it somehow works out for them over and over and over, while at the same time you make high-probability calls like ordering trump when you're holding left A Q and offsuit A and end up euchred again and again, then this is the game for you! Seriously though, it's a joke at this point. They deal you loner hands pretty much exclusively when you're the dealer and the upcard is the opposite color, meaning the call has to be passed 7 times so you can order up your loner. So you very rarely can call a loner but your opponents sure seem to be blessed with them! They have the nerve to call their AI "intelligent"! I've had two occasions where my AI partner went alone and was euchred! No thanks.

Good memories, great game. My dad and uncle taught all us kids how to play euchre, and poker. We were playing that all the time. With REAL cards!!, I learned a lot about people by their card play and their sportsmanship… my dad died ten years ago, but in the single player mode I have it set to my dad as my partner. Still the partner ever and he NEVER leaves the game. I also like the std rated games, except the comment drop down is way too cumbersome. Someone is always saying the wrong thing and you can’t correct yourself.I don’t care for “let’s go!” It seems aggressive. And it would be nice to thank someone we they say “Nice one.” I would perhaps consider adding a friend button. A lot of times I play with awesome people and I’d like to play again but there’s no way to do it outside of the casual game and they cheat too much in there.

Great app some rude players in chat tho. I love this game, especially in multi player. I’m relatively new to the game and I understand the rules and I keep up the pace, but I occasionally misplay a card and sometimes I might make a risky call to learn from it. Because of this I only play in the casual games, not the rated ones. However I occasionally still get abused and it’s really annoying. My partner last night “Brayden” sent me lines of question marks and told me that I sucked at cards, thanks partner, just the fun kind of experience I want in an on-line game. Maybe one or two or the rooms in the casual games could be designated for people who are casual Euchre players looking to have fun and don’t want to suffer verbal abuse for occasional misplayed rounds. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Love the app! Disappointed. I have played this euchre game for the last 8 months. I started out enjoying the game but recently have been very disappointed. There are glitches in the game play that need to be fixed. For players lapses in time you receive a message “booted from game for inactivity”, which is perfectly understandable during those circumstances. However, for months now and it has happened several times each week you receive the message “booted from game for inactivity” AFTER you’ve already played your card and are waiting for your opponent to play their card. Today (February 15, 2024) it happened three times in a row, one of which I was even involved in the card play because my partner called a loner! So frustrating and disappointing! FIX YOUR GAME!! Since you can review the play you should be capable of replacing a players token when booted from game through no fault of player. RESTORE MY TOKENS!! 😡

Great game but..... I've played a lot of euchre in my life, but I swear the other partners talk under the table !!! They will order up trump to their partner and not even have that suit in their hand, or they will lead a 9 of trump like the know their partner has the right bar in their partners hand !!! Also I seem to get the worst hands I don't know how may times I've had all 9's and 10's I know that happens but not as after as I seem to get them !!!! I've never noticed the other players getting all 9's and 10's !!!!! I hope you read this review this time because everything I said here years ago are still the same issues that I think are happening

Swear to god the algorithms decide winners. I’ve played well over 1000 online games of euchre with this app. It is the absolute best app across the board for in game play. My only complaint is that the algorithm I swear decides the winners. I’ve gone on win streaks for weeks where I couldn’t lose if I tried and then be at the same exact level for 3 months and then lose (currently on a 7 month losing streak) where it is impossible to even get above 4 in a game. I am a mathematician by degree. I understand random probability trends. This is NOT one of them. It’s just does not seem possible to have the trends naturally that this app displays. If I felt there wasn’t funny business going on behind the scenes with the algorithm, I would give 5 stars in second. I do not believe that this is the case so I gave 3 stars.

You only get trash hands. I just learned to play Euchre a couple weeks ago and it was really enjoyable. THEN I downloaded this rigged crap. I started playing casually, then moved to the rated which is essentially a rating mode keeping track of how “good” you are. I put that in quotes because this app is actually just trash. You’ll start off getting good hands every couple rounds and maybe get a 4 point loner but after doing well for a game or maybe even a couple rounds you are reduced to all 9s and a 10 for MULTIPLE GAMES. Your hands literally don’t get better. You’ll get a King maybe... but the other team will have the Ace so it doesn’t matter. Once you’ve been crapped on for multiple games it will finally give you a couple good hands BUT I MUST WARN YOU, play well with those hands and you’ll be sent to the pit of 9’s and 10’s. Also you go to play casual and people are literally just cheating. Played against people typing random letters to each other. One of the people would type something then the other will call trump or tell dealer to pick up whatever card was flipped then not play a single trump card. This happens pretty much every casual game. I’m tired of getting literal crap hands in rated mode and people cheating in casual. App is unplayable at this point. Like a lot of negative reviews say, cards are NOT RANDOM

Impossible statistics. I’ve been playing euchre since I was twelve years old. I’ve never seen such terrible luck when bidding. Cards stacked against you. You’re teammate almost always has no trump and no aces and your opponents have all the rest of the trump and the suit aces. I just played a loner with right, left, nine and two suit aces and got set! In any real game of euchre you would convert a point 99% of the time and make a loner at least 80% of the time probably more like 90% of the time. But this game’s statistical anomalies got me set. Opponent lead to one of my aces and his teammate trumped it. Then said teammate lead back another suit and I trumped with my nine. I got over trumped. Then opponent lead to my other ace and that got trumped. There’s only 7 trump in the deck. I had three and my opponents had the other four. None in my teammates hand. None in the blind. In the 30 years been playing euchre it would be a stretch to say I’ve seen something like that happen maybe 5 times. This game creates the most impossible odds against you on a regular basis. It’s not fun and I don’t intend to play anymore.

Exceedingly frustrating. The multi-player option is great. I’ll agree with some other comments regarding the chat options. Maybe need to include some additional phrases, but not a huge deal. The single player version has plenty of issues, though. Not the least of which is their AI. I just finished a game where my AI partner threw trump on a trick I had won. Thought maybe all it was holding was trump. Nope. It lead with an off Ace after that and we ended up losing the hand. Never saw that happen before. The developers can say all they want that the cards are random. Not a chance I believe them. Had a stretch of three games recently where we had a total of three points. 11-0, 10-1, and 10-2. The amount of 9’s and 10’s I was dealt was ridiculous. I’m a relatively aggressive player, but we didn’t even have an opportunity to call trump. Will stick with multi-player. Getting kicked in the crotch might be less painful than playing single player.

Miserable. I love euchre. This is the most fair app out there. However, I found after playing it for about 1-2 hours a day for weeks straight……I grew miserable. I would not recommend. I deleted it from my phone, and I suggest you do the same and go for a walk outside. Many people wait to long to play. You can tell they are doing something else and wasting your time. The app has no function to block other players……even though I’ve played with people who go alone with no trump and I would like to never play with them again. Also, many players shoot a message like “nice one” after every trick and just comment the entire game making it harder for you to play. The best is when they send so many messages you can’t play and then they start sending you messages to speed up when your slower because of all the messages flashing on the screen. Try to make a real friend (in the flesh) and play in person. You’ll be better for it. Peace and love to you.

Way too many loners! Tsk! Tsk!. I’m usually playing this game while going to the bathroom; there is NO difference between this game and what I’m doing in the toilet! Addicteddd’s review (which was just recently posted) is spot on. THIS GAME IS HORRIBLY RIGGED!!!! Every game is decided by a loner (which totally takes the fun out of playing). Old Review of mine: Let’s try this again (since it was already removed once). Virtually impossible to play a normal game of euchre (in the “rated” game mode) when you have to protect yourself from the opponent having a loner. Every game is decided by a loner one way or another. Not very fun at all. Deals are NOT random. I got the little pop-up box asking if I like the game… I clicked “No” and haven’t won a game since (about 20 games). Went from a 2000 rating to 1700 within a few days. NICE! P.S. I was just up 8-0, but lost because of… you guessed it… 2 liners in a row by the opposition… Fun game! EDIT: since posting this “negative” review, I’ve only won 3 out of 25 games (causing my rating to plummet); and I got the below response from the “moderators” (which has nothing to do with my review)… this game is a complete rigged train wreck!

I have Doubts about random deals. I like the game. I like the no nonsense, no long chat, and no constant in app purchase ads like spades+ and others. However…. My first complaint is the new ads system. Why on earth would any company think annoying me and making me wait 3 seconds 3-4 times for the same ad is going to drum up business? Especially when you hit the “x” and it still acts like you clicked to download. Beyond that I highly doubt the deals are random. I was nearly an 1800 player for quite a while and suddenly I go DAYS without getting a game of good hands. Now I’m ranked low 1500s and lose probably 8 out of 10 games. I would suggest using a verification service for your random deals, because until you do, I have no doubt that they are not random. I play ranked online only. And when I started about a year ago with the app, I got a lot of good hands frequently. Got my ranking up, got excited to play, and now it seems that’s what my opponents are getting. Hook line and sinker. THAT would be your incentive.

Player AI logic needs work, but otherwise gameplay is enjoyable. An extremely well written program that provides hours of entertainment for euchre fans of all skill levels, the interface and experience is simple without distracting animations and overbearing visual feedback. The AI logic needs work, you’ll be frustrated by some of your partner’s gameplay choices such as not leading with trump when you order, holding on to a right bauer instead of leading with it, and not drawing out all trump out before playing off suites when going alone. Otherwise, it excels over any other euchre app that I’ve found online, and is an enjoyable and addictive alternative for times when you need your euchre fix and don’t have access to human competition!

A Punishing Exercise in Frustration. I’ve been playing euchre most of my life & have never seen annoying patterns in the types of hands one receives in this game. There is no way these hands are random! How to explain 10-20 losing hands in a row? How to explain a 200 point drop in overall user score over a 30-40 game time frame? How annoying to be down 8-0 and have the opposing team turn up a Jack on their deal (repeatedly)! How frustrating to be up 7-5 and have the opposing team be dealt back-to-back loners (repeatedly)! Sadly, this game is blatantly manipulative. Bravo to the creators for so successfully preying on human behavior. 😠😖😠😖

Not perfect I suppose, but pretty darn good. I see a lot of reviews complaining that the game is rigged against you. All I can say is that I am a mediocre player in real life and have a 55% win rate which is probably about right. While I seem to get more variability in hands in real life (some lay down loners now and then along with some dismal hands as well) this does not feel like a set up to me. I think the app is great for someone who just learned or is just learning. A couple of suggestions - 1) have an option to show what was buried after the hand, I find that entertaining sometimes in real life. And so you know if you miscounted Trump or not. 2) have a lay down option when the hand is over but hasn't played out. For example, you need the last 2tricks and are sitting there with both bowers. Even with auto-play selected you need to play the tricks out. This is clearly a nit-pick. 3) have an option to let you renege instead of always limiting your selection to not do so. Better practice for real life. 4) have a suggestion button or setting to help new players. This is risky seeing how the AI seems to play sometimes, but could be helpful.

Needs Improvement. Overall I am happy with the gameplay which is why I am leaving 2 stars. I play this game daily but a lot of little things about this game take out of what it could be especially the competitive nature. First you can only say 5 pre-programmed things in the chat. If going to do this follow 8 ball pool and give the opportunity to earn points to get more sayings or just buy some. Second, I quit games when players are slow or I have something come up in real life. Certain numbers of quits you are “banned” 24 hours. I understand the concept but I think adding loss of points to overall score would be a better way to do that - Also I feel like you should be able to create rooms and play with certain people or have friends. Maybe even pick out of certain people available when starting a game? Getting stuck playing with somebody who doesn’t know what they are even doing - lowers my score? These are my main issues - have a great game. Def need to modify a lot.

The best euchre app! Please make 2 changes. I tried all of almost all of the euchre apps out there and this one is the best by far, not even close! Gameplay is super smooth and intuitive. Lots of humans play for the multiplayer games and the skill level is surprisingly high across the board. Also the rate of ppl abandoning their games is pretty low. There are 2 changes to this app that would make it practically perfect. 1. I need you to add more chat options, especially “thanks” and “sorry” and 2. I’d love to be able to keep playing with the same ppl. So I think when a new game starts it should automatically seat you at the same table, with the option to leave and join a different table (at random). Part of euchre is learning your partner and how they play. It’s much more fun to do that over time with the same partner than to constantly be switching partners.

Rigged without doubt. Anyone who’s praising this game is obviously a spender, they are guaranteed the best cards to keep their purchases up and are the highest ranked players. It’s literally unplayable for anyone else and there’s no genuine skill factor about it at all. Definitely as my header says it’s rigged, the spenders love it though.

Euchre. I have played this game daily for years when I deleted all my games because of wasting too much time playing them I could never do this for this app. When the ads started it wasn’t that bad, one ad, not too long,so was bearable. Now it can be up to three ads, when you try and press the X it doesn’t always respond, so by the time you get back into your game the computer generated, It’s your turn is on the screen. People are posting Let’s go. So frustrating. Spoilt a great game

Predictable. I find it predictable when playing single player mode, bowers are nearly always in play, and it’s nearly impossible to off suit the player to the left, it’s as if the game is cheating . My partner isn’t the sharpest pencil in the packet to the point of being clueless .

Excellent. Plays beautifully every time. No internet connection even needed for Single Player. I'm learning the game quite fast now.

Almost perfect. Two things stopped me giving this a perfect score: 1. There are some ads at the end of the game you cannot close because the size of the ad doesn’t fit on screen so you have to compete exit the game and close it completely for it to work again. 2. Not sure why my teammate often saves their best hand for last, often resulting in us winning four hands instead of five.

Needs an upgrade. Been playing for sometime but have found recently that the opponent team is getting and winning on clubs about 8/10 times. These odds are not possible by please check your coding

I like the game......but. I wish.....when the opposition has called what trumps are for that particular hand, that my partner would not lead a trump back at them making it easy for the opposite side to throw in an insignificant card. Has anyone else had this frustrating problem? I've noticed the opposing side does it as well! Maybe it's just me that doesn't think it's a smart way to play.

Ads run permanently in background. Terrible app as ads run at high volume in the background and can’t be stopped. Don’t waste your time as the AI player is also hopeless and clearly the programmer has never played euchre!

Fun but improvements could be .... On small screens, sometimes it is hard to see whose turn it is ... had one today where someone kept saying “Let’s go” and it was there turn - if could highlight better than a vey tiny triangle would be good. I have got caught out myself if I looked away for a moment. Also, when one card left each so no option what you play, would be good if automatically played after a few seconds. The other option would be being able to chat randomly rather than fixed options - agree all should see - partners are allowed to talk openly when playing with real cards. “Sorry” would be a good standard option if not. Game. Been playing for a while now at first was good but now well. The game is not played with the right number of cards from 7 up. To many Jacks are turned up. If you have a king in your hand 99% of the time the opposition has the Ace. I had six hands straight one game where I received either 2 x 9,s and 2 x 10,s or I had 4 of either is a regular occurrence. Too many irregularities, but maybe it’s the way the computer set is programmed.

Euchure. I am enjoying this game and would like to suggest a “no picture cards” hand when the player is dealt a hand with no picture cards you can opt to redeal cause you have disadvantage iin the game

I love the real card game and this could be an excellent version if they could fix my partner leading highest bower when we haven't made it trumps- it really kills the game most times and have missed out on euchring other team because of it Have asked to fix for years now but no change- maybe one day ☹️ Otherwise enjoyable 🙂

Smart AI is a joke. Feels like the AI has gotten dumber and not the other way around. Constantly withholding trump for no reason, overtrumping their opponent’s Ace, not leading with trump in a loner hand. Used to be a good game but feels like the AI needs to be wound back to a previous version. It’s like playing Euchre with my cat.

Bad hands. Seems ok to start with but never had so many bad hands in a row. Played 7 games in row to finally win one. Never had a chance in the other games as my hands were so bad… seem at least once a game the opposition get loners you can’t stop. I have played euchre a lot face to face and never seen this before. Seem once you start losing you keep losing.

Poor dealer algorithm. It’s like the dealer purposely gives me all 4 suits every hand!! Plus, it really seems to like to keep teams even till the end.. if ur winning , U will get poor hands and if ur losing, u will get good hands… I play a lot of euchre in the real world and this game does not flow like the real thing.. it is ok for someone to learn but it is frustrating to play once proficient

Can’t join friends. I would really like to know why I cannot join friends or even have an invite option. All I see is friends online but cannot join or invite??? Other wise I would give it a 5star.

Great to play live. The game is good but it often is jerky and rather slow. Definitely needs shorter waiting time when someone leaves the game.

Such a good app, but…... Really cool game! But I don’t know who’s smart idea it was to have ads pop up mid game while your playing. Not the smartest thing when your playing in real time with real people. Now everyone’s got to wait for your ad to run through. And let’s be honest…no one likes ads to begin with. Now everyone has to wait for you, and the fact that it’s an ad, almost ruins my mood lol just being honest! Such a disappointment to a good app with fun game play.

Not being able to type your own words %*##. In the competion game you can’t type your own words . Instead being limited to clicking a few tabs to communicate . Also it rewards fluky rubbish play more than skill . Unfortunate as its not far off being good .

Euchre with the Bird. Hey you should introduce some new game modes like 3 handed cut-throat(no stick the dealer) must go alone when ordering partner in 4 handed and introduce the Bird into both 3 handed and 4 handed. Otherwise I love the game and these modes will really challenge players skills

9 hand instead of 7. It would be great if you had the option of playing 9 hand instead of 7 as it makes the hands to predictable

Poor. I don’t mind putting up with advertising, but this game has ads butting in between plays in a hand then has the hide to ask for $30 to stop them. It once upon a time was a good game but has gone downhill in quality. I refuse to use it and rate it poor to fail as the author is a money grabber

Useless Partner. The partner you provided has no idea when to turn down and go alone on my deal. They keep doing this with only two trumps and low off-suit. Needless to say this results in a euchre most times.

Advertising nightmare. This company has excellent games including Euchre, Hearts and Cribbage. They have stuffed them all with advertisements. Absolutely destroyed the pleasure of playing. With no option to purchase, I have deleted the apps and this one will go as well.

Euchre I have been playing for quite a while... I find it keeps me from being bored.. I have been playing Euchre for a few months now and really love the game. I am learning so I can join my husband in playing at our local club. Euchre is a game I look forward to playing daily. Love playing Euchre with friends. Now I can play anytime, having the game always at my fingertips.

Getting greedy. I have the paid app and tokens were added quiet frequently, recently the developer changed the app so one token (10 to start with) are not replaced within an hour, you then have to purchase more tokens and these are not replaced until they are all gone, it’s a rip off....stay away

Me. Have deleted this app twice, because of advertisements taking over the game, they take over the whole screen. So I guess this is goodbye again, as it’s happening again.

The additional ads in the middle of the game have now rendered it unplayable. I’ve been playing this great game for years and enjoying it. I’ve not ever had a problem with ads between games, I understand that the developers need a return on their investment. Iunfortunately over the last week we are getting advertisements in the middle of the game play which ruins the game as you don’t get to see the cards being played. Extremely poor strategy by the developers that if it continues will undoubtably see a reduction in playing numbers.

Please stop adds. I love this free game and I don’t mind adds at the end or beginning of a game but the adds in the middle of the game has led to me being kicked out of a game for slow play .. which I can’t stop and return to the game

Ok but.... Lots of bias in the algorithms behind this app. A decent game and idea but the bias needs to be eliminated. One example is that if a trump is called, on the first lead, generally an offsuit, the opposition always has a trump. At this point I would not recommend the game to others as it needs significant improvement to remove bias. I certainly would not pay $7.99 for the full version.

Disappointed. I played with cards for hours on end and I started out really enjoying this app but far too many bowers are turned up for it to be a good game. My computer partner is lost for the right lead most times. Looking for a new game now.

Pretty average game. I’ve never played a game where I so consistently get given no chance of winning. At one stage I played 5 hands in a row without having a trump in my hand and then on the 6th hand I got given 4 9s! Hate that a player can order up his own partner and they both stay in the game. This is the only version of euchre I know of where you can do that. Every version I have ever played you have to turn the card down and go alone. Frustrating game

Good game. I’ve been playing for a couple of years I believe it’s a really good game, needs a little update on things like achievements. I’ve completed all of mine, feels little boring now also the shuffle is a little rigged the cards always fall one way but overall it’s GOOD 🔥

Mrs. I love this game. My mother taught me this game when I was a child but I was always worried what card to play as she was a real card sharp. I don't have this worry when I play this game! It's great.

Euchre. Good game to play. Only fault with this game is when a partner leads trumps (when opposing partners have elected to play trumps). This should only occur if the partner has the cards to euchre the opposition. Otherwise the partner will take away a potential trump card from his own partner.

Euchre 3D. Love it generally. Wish the AI partner wouldn’t take my tricks or lead trumps our opponent has set - it’s poor play and wastes trump cards. These are the bits I don’t like about the programming. Also, each time I’ve upgraded my iOS, the paid option I’ve had reverts to ads 😖 Love the multiplayer option and I spend a fair bit of time playing it.

Bot partners. The bot partners are horrible. They trump your ace and there is no way to send feedback. All the options to send feedback are blocked.

Dealing sucks. This app sucks. The dealing is so one sided. And if someone quits a game a bot takes over right away. Should let someone else join in first.

Rigged or Random???. I’ve noticed that I go on bizarre streaks of very good luck where Ill be 40+wins over losses and then I’ll go through a terrible streak of losing 18 of 20. It’s been going on and on like this since I got the app. Other people online have commented on this too. I wonder if it’s there way of getting you to buy tickets?

Need to fix offline partner!. The game is great and lots of fun! But when I play offline my partner will order up a card and not have either of the Jacks or Ace and he keeps ordering up when he has a terrible hand(he isn’t dealer so he chose to make it). I have him on hard and conservative but he still does this. Please fix it and make it more realistic!

Worst game of euchre around. The worst euchre game there is. I now play to lose. I want to be the best loser. Watch me do it.

Not happy. Recently, I'm in the middle of a game and the app shuts down. I enjoy the game other then that. No idea why this is happening now.

Take away ads tho. Take away ads, or at least given an option to remove for a fee

Not working properly.. Shuffle algorithm frequently gives same cards back to back. Delays in screen process. Was good. Now not.

Pass!. Terrible game. Dealing rarely gives the human anything to bid on without taking a huge leap of faith and then AI partner finds new ways to screw over the play. Frustrating to play when card fall is so suspect. Oh yeah - the ads are relentless and time consumming. I'll make sure to strike this app developer off my list.

Terrible RNG. Was 1711 rating and then lost 14 games straight and went 1600 in 2 days. No way that’s possible, terrible game and uninstalled immediately after.

AI is terrible. Your AI partner makes the dumbest calls. Goes alone with the two lowest trump. Orders up the opponent when your partner only has 1 trump. Won’t play the second Jack until the last play leaving you guessing where it is. Always, always, holds onto trump cards to the end of the hand unless forced to play. Tip to the developer: learn how to play a game before creating it. The “Aggressive “ setting doesn’t mean “idiot”!

Ads causing me to be booted. I was enjoying this game until recently when a certain crypto ad is so long you end up booted from the game. Remove these long ads!!!

App partner has changed. Don’t know what updates the developers have done recently, but the single player partner is suddenly playing like an idiot. This game used to be fun. And now ads have gotten ridiculous. Deleted.

No Ace, No Face, No Trump and Shark Sucks!. I was dealt 9 of Hearts, 9 & 10 of Spades, and 9 & 10 of Diamonds. Opponent called Clubs. This should be a misdeal. UPDATE: keep getting no ace, no face, no trump hands. Also, Shark is the WORST player and the deals need to be more random. Better programming please!

Decent Euchre game, but cannot tell the time!. Updated January 26, 2024. I was just playing a game against the computer, I was the only live player. It was the opposing team’s deal. The dealer turned up a Jack of Clubs. I passed, the opposing team member passed. My computer partner ordered up the Jack of Clubs. AND WENT ALONE!!!!!!! Why go alone when you know 100% the best you can do is get 1 point? If it was a live player in a real game I would have walked away from the table. WHO orders up the right bower and goes alone? I’m very used to my computer partner not realizing that under Canadian rules it has to go alone when it orders me up, it is a very bad move ordering me up when it doesn’t have a decent hand. That happens at least once every 3 or 4 games. I’ve gotten used to it trumping my ace when the player to its left called trump. I would have a really serious talk with any live player doing something that nonsensical. But going alone when ordering up the right takes the cake for stupidity. Original review below. I’ve been playing this game for the past 5 or 6 years and it is not too bad, but there are a few issues. On the Statistics page it says I’ve been playing for 13 days, 23 hours, 51 minutes and 23 seconds. Or just a little under 9 minutes to reach 14 days. On the Achievements page it says I need 16 hours to reach 14 days. So I don’t know if I will hit 14 days in 9 more minutes or if it will take 16 more hours. The major headaches are; - The Pass/Ordered Up messages sometimes go to the wrong player. When it is the West player’s turn the message appears on the East side, then when it is the East player’s turn the message is on the West. I have to rotate the phone 360 degrees to fix it. - My computer partner doesn’t understand that I’m playing with Canadian Rules and will order me up to go alone when it does not have a lone hand. - The computer players sometimes lead trump in the second or third round when the other players called it. If a human player did that at a real game I would find another partner because in 90% of the time that is a bad play. Updated June 25, 2022 Now the Statistics page says I played for “14 day (sic) 17 hr 29 min 14 sec” but the achievement page says “you need to play for 2 more seconds to complete” the “play for 14 full days” achievement. One of those two timers must be wrong.

Ads get you booted. Ads appear in multiplayer rated games and last so long that you get booted for inactivity.

Review-love the game played it a long time now it’s almost as good as playing the real thing. Love the game just wish I could link to my friends to play

Fun app. too many ads. The ads are so long that other players get upset because they think you are delaying the game.

This game has changed - not for better. First of all, I paid for the game. So this isn’t about ads. This is about the single player experience which I have a lot of hours into. This is the only game I play consistently. First up I have adjusted the settings. Always play on hard opponents and turn down my AI partner stupidity. However I always used win most games and as I watched games unfold it wasn’t bad. However I think a lot of people must have clicked the “harder opponents” for the in game survey as they are not just “harder” I mean how can you honestly make someone harder to beat of they play the game well? No the AI must be cheating now. I watch many games unfold now where the west AI will make it spades and the partner (east AI) lays down left and right trump. Or quite often I get dealt 3 9’s and 2 10’s while opponents clean up. Or going alone on a hand with all trump cards and say a single king off suit.. you can bet the opponent AI has the ace.. every.. time. I swear to make it harder over the last few updates they just out right cheat now. Opponents have to know what you have and what they have. While your AI partner is out to lunch. Make it spades and has 2 middle cards and you have all red. If they fixed this it would be back to 5 stars again. The only other thing I wish the game had was an undo button for trying things. You can always stand to learn and I think that would allow you to see if you went a different way on a play would you have won? Or lost.

Too many ads.. I get that ads keep the game free but they pop up after almost every hand..so frustrating

Poor AI. Poor AI. Both the computer partner and opponents make strange trump calls at the worst times. I’m not sure if it’s programmed purposely or not but it can make for frustrating play.

Love it. I really like this but wish there were more emojis and ways to communicate with people.

Going downhill. Player strategy is weak, and with new upgrade the number of ads that stop your game midgame have increased. I will be deleting ap and look for a different one

Used to be great. Now is awful. I agree with what FTWinn wrote on March 14. This used to be a great game. I agree with what many people say about the ads in the middle of the game, but the stupid play and deals is what makes it really bad. How many times can you get hands full of 9’s and 10’s? Answer too many. How many times are Jacks turned down and 9’s picked up? The game is set so that the AI’s ALWAYS hold on to trump until the last card, which often doesn’t make sense and causes you to loose a game. Can’t even count the times my partner orders me up in one colour when I have a guaranteed lone hand in the other colour and then we loose! I have given feed back on this over the last few months, but the game just gets worse. I used to play frequently, cut it back to occasionally. Now I am going shopping looking for an alternative.

Great game but needs smarter players. As mentioned this game is lopsided. Lately you never stand a chance winning a game. Time to delete this app.

Porn game ads make this a NO!. I loved playing this game!! Even tolerated the ads until it became ads for explicit porn game. Too risky to play near kids or in public.

Love this app. I play this more often than any other game. However l do miss the option of being able to talk with other players.

NOPE!!!. This app is disgusting… other players have too much time to linger before playing a card and some players seemingly waste others’ time just because they can before being booted out of the game. If your partner is making ridiculous moves (ie cutting, overtrumping, not considering what was played, etc - whether intention or not - sabotage does occur at times), you are not able to correct your opponent with a simple sentence (ie lead trump). In the event that you want to leave the game and start a new one, as a reason upon being subjected to the aforementioned circumstances, you will lose your allotted playing token and after a couple justified game abandonments, you will ikely be penalized by being temporarily banned for a lengthy period of time (I am currently experiencing a 24-hour ban). Save yourself the aggravation/ humiliation. You’re not a child to be punished by sitting in a corner and this is not your wife making you sleep downstairs because she’s upset with you (which is likely the reasoning to play this game in the first place). Find a better euchre game or invent one.

Ads!. Ads can be difficult to close, and boot player from game

Annoying ads. The game used to be good to play, but now you’ll get advertisements in the middle of the games. After some advertisement you can’t get back on to your game and you’ll get kicked out.

Awful Experience. Not only are there adverts at all times on the top, but actually movie ads interrupt the game entirely for a while. To turn the ads off is an excessive $27.99 The game design and play are poor too. Deleted.

Just stupid. First off, Why would u take away the best two rooms?? Lol that’s just stupid!! Second, I went to purchase the pro version because I seen it was 6.99 so I figured why not.. no ..when I go back it changed to 13.99 lol so I thought I’d wait a couple days.. think about it .. now it’s 27.99!!!!???!!!!! Are u guys on drugs lol like holy inflation lol it’s definitely not worth that amount after taking away the best rooms( royal ranch and bouncy castle away) lol .. I’ve been playing for three yrs now.. not anymore!!! Maybe I’ll come back when the creators regain there mind lol ... wow.....brutal guys!!

Randomly kicks me out. I like the way this app runs. It’s a good game and setup. Not too many ads (some apps run ads between every hand!). I love how the bot takes over if someone quits or gets booted. However, I keep getting booted! 😡It’s usually during an ad. It tells me “due to inactivity you’ve been booted”. How can I play during an ad? I’m not sure if my internet is too slow or what the issue is. I emailed the developer and at first they quickly responded asking me to send a screenshot next time it happens (they also gifted me coins for my inconvenience). When I emailed again with my screen, a couple times, I’ve had no response. No answers or suggestions. Very disappointing.

This Is The Best. Euchre 3D is an amazing game. I know how to play euchre but my friends have the deck and we don’t. I use this game because you can log in with Facebook for Game Center. There is duo were you can play with friends and family. There is only aloud to be 4 people per game. But if you want four people and you are playing with one of your friends the two extra spaces will be filled in with 2 NPC(non player character). This can be a bad game or a one star but I think this is amazing an deserves a five star rating.

Ok game, but lots of issues. First off, the game plays OK like Euchre. However, the deals are not real… it is statistically impossible with 20 cards that you get 1 of each suit 90% of the time. The rated games are honestly stupid! You don’t get rewarded for good play, you get penalized if you are dealt bad cards, or if your partner plays poorly. The biggest issue is SLOW PLAY!!!!!!!!!!! Players get 35 seconds to make a play when the game tells them what cards to play!!!! Some are just slow, but other players purposefully take 30 seconds to play just to screw up the game. If a player leaves the game, an AI player joins in - if they are one of your opponents, when they do, just leave the game - the AI player wins 98% of the time.

Poor customer service, App needs work. While there are some really good things about this app, the fact they charge $20 to eliminate ads ON TOP of continuing charges to even be able to play, makes it entirely unacceptable that they do not respond to customer feedback when there are problems. My nickname went away and my full name is displayed and I can’t do anything about it, and they refuse to respond to me and fix it. The gameplay can be extremely frustrating when players, at times on purpose, play slowly. A game can take literally 10 times longer to play than it should because players have at least 20 seconds to make a play. The piling on of frustrations has me thisclose to deleting the app and moving on.

Used to give it a 5 and then a 4. I used to love playing this euchre app, but the game keeps getting worse — aren’t things supposed to get better? Constant problems with game dropping — this is the only game I have this issue with. Removing the option to boot players from casual game rooms has caused so much frustration because you can’t boot the cheaters, the sexual predators, the general creeps who like to stalk online. So then you have to play the rated games to avoid those situations, but they do zero about the cheaters in those rooms. But if you drop a game because people are cheating or you get matched with someone who doesn’t know how to play, you get penalties lol. I’ll be finding another app.

Unstable and random bootings. I keep getting booted from the game even though I'm watching the screen and waiting for another player to take a turn and even though I have a strong network connection. Terrible AI players. I’ve been playing Euchre a very long time. I’ve also been playing with this App for quite some time too but can no longer tolerate how stupid the AI players are, especially my partner. Countless times I’ll have a great hand only to have my dumb partner call trump when he has a terrible hand. Most of the time we get set when he calls trump because of how terrible his hand is. No real life player would call trump the way the AI partner does...No one!!! Countless times my partner called trump when our opponents had both Jacks, the Ace, and the King of trump. He’s sitting there with a Queen and 10 of trump 3 suited. Seriously??? I’ve changed the opponent skill level in the settings but that still does not change my partner’s terrible play.

Poor Decision Algorithm. Like so many card games the developers use the deal to adjust difficulty. Play in easy mode and time after time you’re dealt strong hands, full of jacks and aces. Play in difficult mode and you get nothing but nines and tens. It makes playing the game trivial. I also suspect it has reneged a few times but without a way to review tricks it’s difficult to prove. It follows the rules well, (except for the suspected reneging), has a good interface but quickly becomes boring when you realize you’ll always win in easy mode, always lose in difficult mode, not because the opponents change their strategies that much but because of the shift in the way it deals the cards. Blah!

No cards on deal. First of all, I love Euchre! But I have a couple of complaints about your game! Most recently, I am unable to see my cards on a deal. Nothing there. Then, I get kicked for not playing! I can’t bid or play what I can’t even see!! Then, there’s the issue of gaining 100 points just to lose at least twice the amount! I’ve been playing your game for 7 years! I should be at a much higher rating than where I’m at! I’ve been as high as 2300 only to go down 400 points!! That’s ridiculous!! Please fix these issues and I’ll give you at least one more star!!

Needs a Very IMPORTANT feature added. This app is awesome. People can be rude and hold up games and such but the app it self is solid. However... there’s NEEDS to be a way to report players. For instance, if two players on the same team are clearly table talking or in the same room together, there should be an option to report them. Or if a player continuously bad mouths and attack’s an opponent (and no I don’t mean harmless trash talk). As well as people who hold up the game for others and don’t pay attention when it’s their turn. After a person has been reported so much they should be banned from the game or suspended. It’s not fair to everyone else.

Hmmm. While I love the game of euchre, this game has not proven itself to be as smart as a computer program should be. My computer generated partner regularly calls " going alone" without having either of the bowers or any real decent cards. I would like to see better plays and less risky calls. I think if you don't get set sometimes you are not taking enough chances but really this is over the top, That being said, I still play every day and I enjoy it for the most part. Keep improving! I'm not going anywhere!

Needs better matching. Great functionality, needs a few things to be better: better matching for rated games. Seems to be completely random so you can end up with two highly rated players against 2 children or anything inbetween. Also could use a few more phrases in the chat “nice try” “sorry p” etc would be used way more often than some of the options. Also need to do something to speed up the slower players - maybe add a “report” setting for slow players and if you get that report on too high of a percentage of your total matches, you get bumped to a slow matchups division away from the rest of us.

Cheaters sesspool. I can’t believe this game is giving itself 5 stars. It’s totally rigged. People are allowed to hesitate in the first round and when they hesitate they let their partner know “they are thinking about it”. EVERYONE that has played euchre all their life knows this. The only people that play euchre by hesitating in first round are low life cheaters. They are like sewer trash. Euchre is like chess it’s a memory and strategic game. The cards aren’t even shuffled!!..all the games are preset. And what’s with the advertisements in middle of game..to hesitate is to cheat. I can’t believe an alternative gaming company has not made this a proper game…they could make some good money. If anyone knows of a legitimate Euchre game please let me know. Until then DONT purchase! Don’t waste your time nor money on this cheaters sesspool

Definitely Not Random Deals. Single player is rigged to take an act of god to beat the hardest difficulty. You get bad hands the whole game and get set anytime you make a call without both bauers. If you’re playing too well, your AI partner will purposely make bad calls and get you set until you lose. Come on. Played this game OTB for decades and never had it be so rigged. 3 games in a row our team was winning and the other team got dealt perfect lay down loners to magically win the game as soon as they had 6 points. In real euchre, consistently good calls lead to winning more than 50% of your games. The other team doesn’t magically get a loner hand every time they are down and get to 6 points. You don’t have 10 game streaks of all 9s and 10s every hand. Maybe if I cough up $20 for the pro, I’ll get treated better.

Does not cheat. This version is by FAR the best. Maybe the best game I’ve played on any device. And it plays fair. Two suggestions.... One... make the Pass button bigger. Two... change the card play algorithm for playing out tricks. A player with trump and the lead should just keep leading high trump cards heavy, hard and from the top. Too many times the computer tries to stick in an off-suit ace and loses the trick to another player’s trump. Throw trump and play any aces later. I’ve played thousands of games with a winning percentage in spite of my computer partner’s flawed algorithm.

Euchre by A-Star. This is an enjoyable version of Euchre, but the play is often not what I would select, There are many times when a player needlessly trumps partner’s ace or has declared trump with only one trump in hand. I am an aggressive player and will bid with just two trump and hopefully an ace, but bids are made by my opponent when I take all the tricks,,,frequently, Also, I wish my partner was less aggressive (marked conservative) so I can get the bid more often when my hand is better, The cards and play are very realistic and clear to follow, I am addicted, Thanks,

The AI is ridiculous. Was in a rated game, score was 6-3 and we were up. One of their players left and the seat was filled by the computer. My hand: Both black jacks, king, 10, 9 of clubs, ace of spades. The flipped card was a spade. Didn’t call it since I was left of the dealer and could go alone and win the game easily with clubs. THE AI THEN FRICKEN CALLED IT with a hand that no human player would have called it on unless they already knew that I was going to go alone, so they could save points. Sure they got Euchred, but we should have won the game with that hand. all the cards I got from then on were garbage and we ended up losing 10-9.

Something is off. I play this game in real life competitively. You can usually count on your partner for one in real life. In this game most of the time one player on the opposite team has all the cards required to set you. In real life that rarely happens. It also seems like no matter how aggressive you play it is already predestined that you won't win. You just don't get the right cards at all and the game is a wash. Playing with real cards and players competitively that rarely happens but this game it happens consistently. I know that the developers say it's fair and they may mean it but the game has a way of picking winners it seems like. I lose more on this game by a long shot than I do playing in real life with random partners on a euchre tournament.

Experience players with chat. Should be a game for experienced players but also has chat. it could be that you have to have so many points or wins before you can get into this section. Too many times I get stuck with a player that has obviously never played before. I know you have the section that is for serious players but it has no chat which I don’t like. I’m tired and of playing with people that don’t know how to play in “Royal Ranch” room. This room should be for experienced players only like it use to be…

Serious Game Bugs Don’t Buy. I paid for the full ad-free version of this game as I love playing euchre. However, when trying to complete their “challenges” or medals for completing their tasks, I almost complete the challenge every time and then the game resets my stats and makes it impossible to ever complete the challenges. This has happened MULTIPLE times at the exact moment I am supposed to complete the challenge. I contacted their help & their technical support but they said they’re unable to do anything to help with THEIR error other than give me a few measly credits that I won’t be using as I’m not going to continue to play a game that intentionally cheats it’s players out of completing the game! Absolute rip off of money. I also requested a full refund for the paid version but have yet to receive a response.

NOT a fair game!. I have been playing real life Euchre just a short time with friends and have caught on to playing pretty good. I am not a slow player and now have been booted off, usually when winning, too many times and without warning! I see even the AI take unusually long times to start, pass or pick a card to play and no one boots them off. As soon as I send a complaint to the help section, my card deals all turn into receiving 9’s and 10’s deal after deal….How is that random? I repeatedly get the same cards over and over again yet this doesn’t seem to happen with playing with a group of friends. Some players abuse the message sending to screw with the game and repeatedly push the lets move it button that makes no rhyme or reason to do so! I would like a “shut up” button for them! I would really like to enjoy this game and get rankings but once I paid and bought tokens, I only feel disrespected and like you do not want real players… Please don’t give me one of your canned responses about the game fairness and wanting the game to be fun for everyone. Update your data and fix the flaws. Heed your reviews!

Great play, but lousy hands!. I have read numerous reviews by folks who are frustrated with the lousy hands they are routinely dealt in single play, and how the opponent ents seem to routinely get dealt gray hands in just the right suit. The response is always assuring that the deals are totally random. Whether this is true or not, it doesn’t change the fact that I often feel like a spectator instead of a player in the game because I’m dealt lousy, four suited hands over and over again, and routinely get beat by seven or eight points. Euchre is way more fun when you get to actually play. With that said, the app play itself is great. I just wish the single player was thrown a bone a little more often...

Great set up, absolutely terrible with cards!. The layout and game playing format is great, but the way the cards are dealt is the most unrealistic game of euchre you will find! 4 loners in one game between all players, when you have 4 trump the opponents usually have both bowers! If one team gets set, the next hand the other opponents get all 5 tricks! Every hand is so predictable on who’s gonna do what based on your cards! Players call trump with ace 9 and get 4 tricks cause their partner just so happens to have both bowers! This is great if you wanna learn the basics, but anyone who has ever played a lot of euchre, you will realize how unrandom the cards really are! Been playing euchre 15 years and the number of loners I’ve had playing real cards in them 15 years is equal to the number of loners I get playing for an hour on here!

The best by far imo. These app developers are the absolute best in terms of their ad to playtime ratio. The banners are tiny and the video ads are less than 10-15 seconds once every six hands or so. It’s one of the very few games that is more game than it is ad revenue and not built by greedy developers looking for a quick buck using brain numbing stimuli, progress edging and “amazing deals”. It’s just euchre with no catch and by far the most minimal ads I’ve seen on any other game without in app purchases. 5/5 stars

The deal is not random. This game does not have random or fair deals. 90% of the time the card that the dealer turns up is a jack, when it is the opponent dealing. When I deal, I turn up a 9 or 10 at least 50% of the time. Additionally, my computer partner tries to go alone 4 times a game with only 3 suited cards and 2 off suited, like a 9 or queen. There is no way, or very little chance, that hand could ever take all 5 tricks while going alone. Had they just played the hand with my assistance, we could have likely taken all 5 sets and gotten two points. This game is absolutely rigged when playing against the computer. Nearly 75% of my hands contain 3 or 4 cards that are 9’s and 10’s. I only have that kind of bad luck when playing this Euchre app, and thankfully not in real life!

Questionable Players. Good game with a nice interface. It plays smooth and fast. The only concern I have is the skill level of the players. Very basic mistakes that drive me crazy. Not one-off mistakes here and there, but they are strategically terrible. Leading a suit-ace and THEN leading the right bower is about as rookie as you can get. Also, they don’t like to lead trump. Ever. I expect my partner to lead trump to me when I call it but they just don’t. This game would be perfect if the players played better. Otherwise, well done. I look forward to an upgrade where the players play like experienced euchre players and practice the fundamentals of Hoyle.

UI is great, game is not.. I’ve been playing this game for about 5 years and it has annoyed me for five years. Players who are sore losers almost always intentionally don’t play their last card to make the other 3 players have to wait 30 seconds just to boot that person to continue/finish out the game. The simple fix would be to only give players 5-10 seconds on the last hand when the hand is decided already. (I know the algorithm is already there for it, as single player allows auto play once a hand is decided.) This is SO annoying to deal with, especially in rated games where people typically play better and more maturely.

Change requests. You've put so e good checks and balances in to stop folks from dropping out of games. Id like to be able to upload a diff profile pic of my choice. Also would like be able to report unruly conduct by other participants. Wish there was a quick way to capture another players info for future game requests. Also wouldnt it be super cool to save friends as favorites... and equally block others? When you find fun folks to play with.... right now there is no way to remember them. It would really take the game up a notch. Ty for your consideration

Good stat keeping, ads ruin experience. The app does a good job tracking your stats. I believe the AI “learns” how to beat you however. While in someways that is good b/c it challenges you, I sometimes feel the AI opponent gets to pick-up a left or right bar far too often. In multiplayer mode lays my largest critique: some ads will not allow you to click “x” to close, or you must wait a period of seconds for an add to end or you just cannot figure out how to close the ad so you can get back to the multiplayer game. This issue has caused me to be booted from games, and that is most frustrating.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THIS GAME!?. what did u guys change recently? the last few weeks the deals have become ridiculously predictable. also the amount of loners and hands with both bauers has gone way up. im practically able to call each card played before the player even throws. please fix this! i love this game/app but its slowly becoming no fun, just goin thru the motions. also would be cool if u didnt need tokens for unranked games and an option to leave the game without sacrificing a token if a player(s) leave or time out in the first hand. hope this finds the right ears to make these changes. ill def change my review to 5 stars if so...🙏

Tricked???. I first started playing everything seem to be going well. However once my score got into the 80% tile and did not seem to matter what level of skill what competitiveness are used or what setting I was out and I could not get a hand higher than queen or king’s and could not get Trump I lost 10 games in a row or more which brought my skill level back down to under 1600. I don’t know but that looks a little fishy to me not allowing you to win one game until your skill level is brought back down to LA what seems to be a more competitive rating.

Terrific and fun app!. Adding to my previous comment after several months of using the app... Still love it! However a couple of suggestions: in the rated games, penalize players who leave without completing the game. Also, increase our options for communicating among rated players. It's very frustrating to have such limited options. Otherwise, great! As I said originally: My family meets on Sundays through zoom to play a euchre tournament each week with this app. Well worth the price of the paid app to eliminate the ads. Love it!

Don’t like this app. I’ve been playing Eucre for years but this game is way off. If you don’t mind rarely being able to choose trump, your opponents having all the good cards and having ALL the trump when they pick (which is 9 out of 10 times) this game is for you. Absolutely no fun hear, even with the setting set at medium (intermediate) playing field. I’m searching for a more realistic site. If I don’t find it I’ll go back to word games and playing Eucre with friends in person.

Fantastic game crappy timing rules. Game is great. Play all the time. Get sick of how long the wait timer is. Game needs to implement a kick rule in general with 3 votes and that player is out. Some players are straight rude waiting and waiting for no reason. So tired of it. Any longer than 10-15 seconds is bad. The timer allows like a solid minute to go by before you can vote to kick. Some people use this full minute every single time it’s their go. Not cool. I’d give the game 5 stars if it weren’t for this.

3D Pro re-release.. You need to bring back the ad-free version of this game. I can now tell when other players are in the middle of an ad, and it is absolutely running the experience, because even tho I paid for an ad-free experience, I STILL have to wait for ads. It’s annoying, unfair, and games don’t take long enough for you to be running ads IN THE MIDDLE OF GAMES. It is also my understanding that the new ad format is obstructive and an intrusive, and it’s clear you just slapped ads in the interface on a timer, and have no understanding of how horrible of an effect that is having on gameplay. This has gone from one of my favorite games on my phone to an absolute nightmare to play, even amongst friends.

This can’t just be bad luck…. I have had the app for about 2 weeks. Climbed to rank 1721, winning about 5/8 games, fairly consistently competitive & addicting. This last weekend however, I’ve won once or twice and lost about 20 times. And they’ve mostly been blowouts. 3 of them my team got 0 points - the most recent one my opponents won in 3 turns with two loners…. All but three of the 20 losses my team had 5 or less points. I am now sitting at 1588. It really was unbelievable how consistently bad my hands were. In those 20 games, I had 3 to 4 loner hands, but couldn’t use any of them. From now on I’ll only play with friends, hopefully I won’t see something like this happen with them

Ridiculously unbalanced. I honestly enjoyed the app the first few times I played, but the more I played the more I felt that the deals weren’t very random, and I was ALWAYS having to pass or take a ridiculous gamble on calling trump just in an attempt to try and gain an advantage. The AI partner is truly idiotic and never plays hands the way a human partner would, and the AI opponents play so anti-strategy that it ends up working out perfectly for them. I’m a pretty experienced player and found that others were having the same issue when I decided to peruse the reviews of the app. Please find better AI or improve the single player gameplay in some way, because it isn’t fun when the strategy that makes Euchre as addicting as it is gets completely stripped away from the game.

Opponents play like they know each other‘s hands. Time and time again the opponents will make calls that are very questionable only to be bailed out by their partner. While if you call it on a highly likely hand then one of the opponents will have the perfect hand to euchre you. I had one where it was the ten of clubs up and I had left king nine of clubs and an off suit ace. The opponent to my right passed and he had right ace queen . It’s like the game is setting you up to fail. Not to mention your partner will play like a idiot like getting euchre going along(half the time going alone without the right)or not trumping odd suit hands or when they do it’s under trumping when they didn’t have to play trump.

Challenge level is perfect for me. On the Hard level, I win 60% of the games—which is just about right for me. My partner is pretty good, but sometimes I think he makes bonehead plays. For example, he sometimes trumps my ace with a very low trump; he is just wasting his trump: if the last player has no trump then my ace will win and if he does have trump then his trump will be higher than my partner’s. My partner should save his low trump for another trick. The draws look very random and realistic to me. I also have the iPhone app. Something very interesting: I win 60% of the games on my iPad but only 50% on my iPhone. I wonder if there are any differences in the algorithms that would explain that. Of course, it could just be a coincidence or I might remember the cards better with the much larger images on the iPad. It’s very addictive :-) It helps me to be a better player when I play with humans. I’m experimenting with how conservative I should be when calling trump. So far, I found that I’ve probably been too conservative.

Rigged. Something that could be great corrupted by greed.. While the gameplay is quite well done, the card distribution varies greatly from what the actual statistical distribution should be. Hands seem to be prearranged, players bumped through no fault of their own to adjust resulting change in ranking, bots making exclamations on hands that are not yet played, ugggg. Computer players go from playing well to discarding off suit aces. Ownership commiserates injustices with credits that only will benefit a player who wants to spend their next 48 hours straight playing the game. Why can’t someone just make a game based on the actual probabilities of card distribution of the game….if you need them I can provide them to you.

Does what I hoped!. After more than 1,000 games with "bots" and more than 1, 200 multiplayer games I no longer embarrass myself when we play at camp. Seems I have gone from worst to near the top in skill level. No substitute to sitting down with friends and playing for hours but it does make those times more enjoyable. Some have noticed I improved and asked what I was doing. At least four other camp players are now using the app as well. Thanks for creating This fine App!

SURS. I keep losing sound. Switch is on. To restore it I have to completely delete the app and remove it. Download it again and reset everything. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. I have addressed this once before and I have been playing this for at least nine years and never had this problem. shutting down the phone and turning it back on does not matter once the sound is off it’s off. I hope they can fix this bug.

It’s ok. It’s fun to be able to play online with friends or rated matches. Nearly every match I’ve played, someone gets disconnected from multiplayer. You can tell the app is disconnecting them when it takes them awhile on their turn. If it’s a connection issue, their profile pic will go away for about 20 seconds before it gives you an option to boot them. In the last day, I’ve been disconnected approx. 10 times. I purchased extra tokens and those are just wasting away as it doesn’t seem like I’ll ever be able to finish a full game. The disconnection glitch seems to go away after you make a purchase for a few days, then it’s back. Maybe it’s a coincidence, maybe it’s their business model. Has potential to be s great app...

So-so. Euchre 3-D has the best graphics of any euchre app available. However that may fool you into thinking that everything else is great too. The creators claim they’ve used the most advanced random number generator available but they state in their literature that they will punish a player for things like exiting a game before it’s over - which, if they bias the deal affects the odds for everyone and especially their partner. I’m occasionally dealt nearly the same hand two or even three times in a row and there are times when I’ve been dealt four suits and no jacks for more than 8 games in a row with only one or two hands to break the pattern. I’d much rather play with a few friends in the same room and watch the shuffling and dealing.

Good and bad. It gets pretty annoying when your partner picks up every jack when you pass on it. Most of the time they don’t have anything to go with it and are just picking it up cause it’s trump. Which means you have to carry them the whole game. Same with the opponent’s. I will have 2 red Jack, Ace, King, and Queen in my hand in the same suite, and they’ll pick up a nine in the same one, expecting to win. Seems completely rigged/unfair at times. The other thing I’ve noticed, if you managed to get really good hands and go alone, they will always lay the one off suite you have, and beat it. Also makes the game really annoying. It’s not designed for you to win every time, obviously, but it shouldn’t be rigged either.

Fun but not totally accurate. I’ve enjoyed playing this app one player. However, I’ve noticed it’s not completely accurate to how real people would play the game. For instance, I play on the hard or difficult level, but my computer generated partner will throw away an Ace when another suit was led, and keep a low card (not Trump) which can make us/me lose the hand. Another time, a club turned up for calling trump, and I had 3 clubs so I called it. One of the computer players had the top three cards in trump (both Jacks and ace) but had passed! So we lost. That wouldn’t happen in real life, they would’ve ordered up trump. If these things were fixed I’d play again, but it happens frequently and is frustrating.

Mostly Good But Frustrating. The game plays fair most of the time. There are, however, those few times that the game does not recognize the off-suit jack. For instance I bid spades. My partner takes a trick with the ace of hearts. The opponent trump’s the next trick with the jack of spades. I am holding the jack of clubs, ace of spades and a junk card. No way I can lose that hand, right? Wrong. Opponent plays the ace of clubs when I lead the jack of clubs, he wins the hand and gets 2 points for setting me. This happens maybe 1% of the time and it has taken me a long time to isolate the issue. Another thing that would be useful is a last trick review feature.

Some irritating items that need to be addressed.. Need to have more options of speech during the rated games. The timer should also be shorter on games as people should devote their time to watch for their play. One person or board should be able to give warning to people that continuously hold up game by stalling their play, and after two warning abort them from the game. Does the programmers and/or developers ever pull peoples stats on who continually drop out of games, specially because they are losing. Someone should be able to automatically send the programmers and/or developers a message to to advise them of when these things happen.

Horrible game. Same comment as many people have. I sent in a complaint about how the game can be cheated. Went from #7 ranking out of 28,000 with 99.9 percentile 2248 and over 4,000 games played to I don’t know where I’m at now maybe a 1800! Sent in complaint end of October 2016 and been losing ever since. Wow, what a fun game to play knowing there’s a better chance of losing than winning. Because the programmers put the fix in!!! Apparently constructive criticism is frowned on. Maybe I’ll just have a loner now every time the hand makes it to me. I’ll at least get a laugh and maybe turn a few more people sour about this manipulated game. It’s not random deals folks!!! Thanks for ruining what I thought was going to be a good app. I would give 0 star but the app developer manipulated that to so that you cannot proceed with out giving at least a one star. For the record it’s a zero!!!!!

Mixed. Playing with others is alright and real. People get distracted, but that is people. The AIs in the single mode is just off. IF, I get to the point that my “partner” and I are way ahead… the AI opponent is likely to pull a loner or get a series of really good hands and I’ll get 9s and 10s. I imagine it is hard to program or something, because other apps are not necessarily better. It’s frustrating. I can win hand after hand playing real people… but play the AI, and it doesn’t matter what intelligence level you have them on because they will get all the good cards and call it every single time. It doesn’t help the your opponent will call trump with an ace and a ten.
