Excellent, with room for more improvement. An excellent calculator at a perfect price! For further improvement, I would like to see opioid or morphine equivalent calculators, USPSTF preventive recommendations as well as or as an option instead of the Canadian ones, and illustrations to go with the Ottawa ankle and other rules. There are also some font issues - reading the information for the NAFLD score, for example, the “fi” character does not reproduce in some cases, and some of the mathematical symbols get mangled

Use this pretty often. I've got a couple of medical calculators, this and Mediquations. Would recommend getting both as sometimes one has an equation you need, but not the other.

Love it so far. Loving it so far. I would like to request a drug compliance calculator. And maybe a research nurse specialty. We have to use whatever calculator our sponsor wants us to for our studies which makes this app super useful.

Excellent app for common calculations. I am a student in my clinical rotations and I use this app several times daily for many common medical calculations. It is well organized and easy to use. Very handy...I recommend this app to all my fellow students.

Scam. I have no recollection of signing up. But they are spamming my email. I tried downloading the app to delete the subscription and account since that’s the instructions I found online. However, I am unable to do either. I found a privacy email and it send me a message saying the person no longer worked for them. Absolutely ridiculous

Great app. I love it. The organization within each specialty is great. I get to see a bunch of tools that I never even knew about before. The app is smooth and very fast. Recommended!

More options. Pretty useful. There are alot of formulas which are not on here. It would be nice for specialists to add or suggest formulas and to customize which ones you use, maybe from a database? And customize the order of which ones you want.

Quick and easy. Excellent, gives me useful results in seconds, I highly recommend this app as a clinical tool.

Pretty good. Very nice interface, clean, ads aren't too bothersome. I use it a lot but occasionally will look for scales to calculate and be unable to find them like the APACHE II. It's also *very* deficient for standard psychiatry scales like SLUMS, mini-mental status, PHQ-9, and other scales that all med students and many physicians from multiple specialties use routinely.

Great app could be even greater if.... This could be a money maker for the developers if they gave the option for putting a name and date and top and then the ability to print so we can put it in EHR or even better integrate with the ehr and send the results to the ehr. Providers are now getting paid by insurance for administering scales but they must be documented in the chart. I would pay (to a. Retain price point of course) to see that happen. I recently emailed you saying something similar. I have notable experiences as a user interface tester for an ehr and can provide assistance if you need a consultant a few hours a month. -DanielleZ

I'm glad I found it free. This is an extremely helpful tool for most of medical professionals, which is always at hand. I didn't find any bugs, works smoothly, very easy to use.

Good. This definitely not for common use but if you know how to use it helps to understand when you need the professional doctor advices. My nephew is a medical specialist and he showed me how to use this.

Great calculator, but bugs for reviews too much!!. I use this app on a daily basis. It is very comprehensive and easy to use. HOWEVER, it seems like every other time I load this app, it asks me if I want to leave a review!! I have already reviewed this app so many times that this nagging is really starting to get annoying.

Cardiologist. Outstanding & current. Every cardiologist should use this daily. Each version is superior to the last. Citations could be easier to get to if one wanted to read the literature supporting the calculation or formulae (e.g., Seattle Heart Failure Model). Stunning nonetheless.

Great app! Always there for quick reference.. A colleague recommended this app for all the neurology references. Then I found many other formulas and calculators in use in the ED. Now I use it all the time! Thumbs up.

Amazing. I've been searching for a free usable pregnancy wheel for a year now, where I can find EDD by LMP or ultrasound OR gest age by EDD, and this has it! Not only that, but it also has pretty much every other clinical calculator I use on a regular basis as a Family Physician, like Framingham/ATP III. It also has dermatome diagrams, which I look for often. And to top it all off, it's actually in a user-friendly, intuitive format (as opposed to Epocrates), including a Favorites list. I've replaced several other apps with this *one* that works better.

I use this a lot! Great program.. This is a wonderful free Medical Calculator. I practice as a Hospitalist and this program has the calculations I need for patient care. You can use American or European units of measure. I prefer this over MedCalc.

Helpful for Rotations. I'm a PA student on my ob/gyn rotation and find this app very helpful to calculate ega, and it saved me the money of buying one of those pregnancy wheels I know this app will be helpful for all my rotations to come

Don't waste you're time. Absolutely worst support I have ever experienced. App will not update and most calls won't function. Emailed them and no one ever responded. Don't waste your time.

An Excellent Resource. As a clinician, I find this app extremely useful as a quick, handy tool. It's an added bonus to have the references for each function available as well. Love it!

Easy to navigate. I like it! If I would change one thing, I'd make it easier to clear current inputs and start over, especially for trending labs ovee Time.

Dr.. Use this app all the time. Helps with treatment options and risk options. ( i.e. Does this patient need a statin, risk stratification, coumadin). Is my pregnant patient due in 28 or 29 days, because pregnany wheels are often off by a few days.

Very nice. I surprised it's free! I've purchased two other apps from this company since downloading this app. All work flawlessly. It's nice to buy an app that works the way they advertise.

It will do. This app has potential and would probably be ideal for an internist or hospitalist. But it's too cumbersome and, at times, lacking for someone like myself in the emergency department. I dislike having to answer criteria individually. I would like to see all the steps listed on screen with those sliding buttons to answer them. Also, there are rules that would be helpful in the ER setting that are not included with this app, such as the San Fran Syncope rule, the PERC and Wells score for PE. An app that I do use often is MedCalc There are some cool features like the neat dermatome and BSA pix. (Peds BSA is not included either).

Good app. It would be even better if there was a way to have a section at the where you could save your favorites. I only use a few of the calculators and it becomes tedious to scroll and drill down, scroll more for some of the features.

I use this all the time. The user interface is a little clunky at times but definitely not unusable. My biggest wishes: 1. I would like the dermatome map to be interactive. I want to say "show me L4" or click on the map and have it show me the typical and perhaps some atypical distributions of the nerve(s) for that location. Also, having a map for sensory vs. motor distributions would help, as well as one for which reflexes to test for which spinal root would be helpful. 2. It should be possible to plug in the actual peak flow as measured and obtain percent of predicted. 3. I would like a calculator for pediatric BP percentiles. It should ask me the date of birth or the age, the height, and the blood pressure, and compute the percentile of BP. There is a table online somewhere which I use for this, but you have to compute the height percentile first and then use that to get the BP percentile. 4. There should be an in-app way to give feedback, with a button on every page. This would allow those of us who would like to improve the product to report ideas at the time they occur to us.

None. I have found this app to be able to provide me with multiple equations that simplify my work. I find that I go to it daily while at work. It is probably not truly invaluable, but it does keep formulas and various scoring systems close by for their use. For the cost, it is a real deal.

Excellent until now. I have a long list of favorites. However, now, something is wrong, “bugs” the app freezes at the end of questions. It happens on all the decisions trees.

Great app with good UI, easy to use, part of my regular practice.. I refer to this app frequently in my assessments of patients before Anaesthesia. The variables are quick and easy to fill in, the information drop down box useful, and the ability to mark tests as favorites speeds access to my most frequently used tests. I can only see its usefulness growing as the number of tests available grows.

Can't turn to landscape. This current version has a bug! Please fix ASAP. The app opens with the iPad upright position, and the calculations fields are obscured. The app won't flip to landscape when you turn the iPad! So you can see any of the calculations outputs! Please fix ASAP

Calculators not working, outdated resources. So far have tried about 5 calculators and they don’t work and when prompted to contact support and send the email that also doesn’t work. Specifically (so far) MGUS and CKD calculators not working. Also feels clunky. Really should have a units conversion calculator as well for metric to imperial weights and heights and temperatures.

Brilliant app!. Quite useful when rounding and for quick reference via pub med. Any chance of adding back on the San Francisco Syncope rules (was originally in Cardio Calc) and adding Sokal scoring for CML? Cheers

Doctors need to know about this.... Makes reviewing journal articles fun. Completely customizable in terms of your interests. Best thing about the app is that if you have a service you use for pubmed articles (e.g. University login for Wiley or another online journal database), you can enter this info and the app will download the PDF articles directly for review. Excellent app. I use it everyday.

Still Annoying. Used to be a great app, but is constantly harassing you to make an account or sign on with Facebook. Should support sign on with Apple but doesn’t. This latest update still didn’t fix the problem. Hopefully Apple starts enforcing the rules soon. Kind of disappointing the devs are going to wait for Apple to force their hand rather than being respectful to users.

The update was a bad idea. This was a great app, but the recent update only opens portrait mode and there a lot of black space on the edges. Basically it not fitted for the screen. Please fix this I use this app on a daily basis.

Fix the EF!. Overall good app, but the Ejection Fraction on the Echocardiography section gives wrong results. I emailed the author a long time ago, but it has not been fixed. The formula is wrong. For example, with LV Diast diameter of 54, syst diam of 32, normal apical contraction, the calculated EF is 592%!!! I know how to fix it, but they never answered my message.

Handy!. Better than the blackberry version. Better than carrying around a books with the same info

OK, but missing new guideline scores. This app excellent in user friendliness, yet missing the updates on Guidelines, such as the ESC Atrial Fibrillation Guidelines with the CHA2DS2-VASc score (as an addition to the CHADS2 score), it also is missing the major bleeding risk score such as HAS-BLED. It is an OK tool, but needs more frequent updating.

Saves me- daily!. Perfect for quick calculations done while rounding.

Nice app. Only improvement would be an option to email a table of the risk models and calcs for inclusion in a note or for research purposes.

Paramedic. A very quick and intuitive app. It would be nice to have better access to tables and algorithms, although there are other apps for that...I just can't wait until someone finally makes a complete diagnostic and algorithmic app.

Amazing. I love how I ca use this in the ER As a new grad it's a difficult transition and this app helps me ask the right questions to gather the information I need to better assess my patients.

Qxcalc. Really useful app, in school and really comes in handy for quick calcs. It has everything.

Will Not Open. The app will not open with iOS 8.1 on a new iPad Mini 3. I contacted QxMD app support. So far, no response. Update 1/7/15: After yesterday's update I thought perhaps the launch crash would have been fixed. No luck with that. Also never got a response from tech support. It also crashes on the old iPod iOS 5.1.1.

So far, useful. Have not used it too much yet, however so far it's useful. I like that the references are provided for each tool in case you need more information.

A must have. I'm a general surgeon and this app have all the calculations and formulas I need. It never crashed and it's easy to use.

All medical apps should be this good. This is an app that other medical apps on iTunes should aspire to be as good as and should take lessons from.

Geriatric & IM DOC. Fantastic med equation app. Tossed away all the others I was using. Everything I need for office internal med & geriatrics. Some hospital geriatric equations could be useful additions ( like dementia & CAM delerium calculators)

Must have app. Accurate and in depth explanations of calculations, easy to use interface, comprehensive and organized list of calculations. Must have app for students and residents.

glitch: can't change settings. The app won't let me change the settings that it forced me to pick at the start. When I try to exit the settings menu after having changed them, the app asks me to "input a valid email". I've already given it my email and activated my account!

Open articles in PDF expert would be great. Like the app but hate e mailing myself the article. Would be great if could send the article directly into my PDF reader app from inside this app.
