Incredible and so worth it!. I am so thankful for this incredible app! It has been incredibly helpful on my exclusive pumping journey to keep track of all the milk I have in our deep freezer. I’m able to see when I need to use my supply so it doesn’t expire and I have peace of mind that I know how long I have to use it! Thank you for this super helpful tool!

Nice. This app is nice. I wish there was a way to add it to your Home Screen as a widget or access it on apply watch! I work at the hospital and can’t always have my phone open to track when I’m pumping/working at the same time. Other than that I think this app is amazing takes all the guessing out of how much milk baby will need

Absolutely Amazing!!. I am not typically one to write reviews, but I want to let anyone who is considering downloading — DO IT!! This app has changed the game. I am a very type B person, but when it comes to breast milk I have been tracking everything. I’ve been using DairyBar for 7 months now and it has made my pumping / breastfeeding journey so much smoother. I love being able to track milk from the deep freeze to the freezer to the fridge to baby and stay completely organized. The app has occasional bugs or crashes, but Jennifer is so quick to respond when you email for support and resolves the issues almost immediately. (Writing this at 11:45pm on a Saturday after an email thread with her helping me). At the end of the day, the money is worth it. I am extremely satisfied and would absolutely recommend DairyBar to anyone that is nursing / pumping.

Would only change 1 thing. Update: the maker of this app is super helpful and on top of things! Not only did she inform me that you can change the “best by” date to “use by” but she also went in and did a bug fix when my app wasn’t showing the correct amount of total ounces/bags. GREAT app and GREAT creator! LOVE this app. Let me start by saying I LOVE the app. Not only does it help me keep track of my stash, but it is extremely satisfying to look at the stats and know how much I have and how much I have created overall! The ONE thing I would change is adding the option to choose from different expiration times. It’s stuck on freezer=3 months and deep freezer=6 months when really they would be good for much longer. Like 3-6months and 6-12 months! Other than that, I love it! So 4 stars :)

Worth it. I’m an exclusive pumper and an over supplier. This app has been a life saver. User friendly and has all the features I was looking for. Definitely has made my life easier in terms of keep track of how much I have, which bags I’ve used and how long my stash will last me.

Needs update. App will no longer tell me how close I am to goal. It used to tell me how long my stash is going to last me now it says how many oz/nan. I tried refreshing all my settings. Fix this please fix this. UPDATE: fixed and working. Great.

Love app but hate the recent update!. ***UPDATED REVIEW*** My original review below talked about a recent update taking away one of my favorite features, but they since did another update where this feature is returned! I love that they bought it back, honestly I had downloaded other apps hoping to love it but this app is just superior lol. SOOOO glad I’m able to 100% enjoy it again ***OLD REVIEW*** This app used to be a 5 star for me, but they recently updated to show a graph of the stash locations & took away the stats of each individual location. For instance, if i wanted to see the total amount stored in the fridge vs how much was used, I would have to manually calculate because this option was removed

Won’t let me add more than 1 bag. There is no way to add more than 1 bag to each category. It says “log milk” when there is nothing in a category, but absolutely no “log milk” button exists once there IS something already logged. Edit: reset the app and the button reappeared. Weird error.

Doesn’t Add to Stash Reliably. I want to love this app, as the concept, design and stats are fantastic but I noticed when adding milk this week it wasn’t adding correctly. I inventoried my stash again and was off quite a bit. Unfortunately, I don’t find using the app useful if I can’t rely on it for its primary purpose.

Good app, but lots of bugs. I really, really like this app - when it works the way it’s supposed to. Last week, I noticed it was saying that I had no milk logged. I have over 1,000 oz of milk froze, so it was a little annoying that I had to re-enter all of my milk. Now, when I click on things from the menu, the menu on the side doesn’t go away. So I can only see about half of the screen. Very frustrating. I love the app, but I have been having so many bugs lately.

I love this app.. It’s very easy to use especially if you have a pump that doesn’t use an app or if you want an app to specifically only track your milk stash. This is my 3rd time breastfeeding so I didn’t really need an app with my pumps this time. I’ve also used this app the other two times; only because my pump app tracks a lot of other stuff like baby’s milestones, pump sessions, diaper changes, & nursing. I also love that it lets you set a goal and it also shows you how much milk you stored in your fridge, freezer, and the deep freezer. 10/10 would use this app every time in the future.

Great app!. I love the app and the graphs so I can see trends in my milk storage. My only complaint is that you can’t sort your used milk by the “used on” date. There have been times when I want to see all the milk I used on a certain day but it’s sorted by the “pumped on” date instead so if I used an older bag of milk I would have to scroll around and look at all the dates. This feature would also be helpful to see very easily how many ozs baby is taking at each feeding per day. Would love if this is possible!

Love this app. The app is great! A couple bugs here and there but so does every app. When there is a bug, the developer addresses it quickly and gets back to you even quicker. Great app to help you stay organized in the chaos!

Great app overall. I love this app - it’s super easy to track pumped breastmilk. I love the Note feature so I can include the bag number when I store in bricks. My only suggestion would be to add a feature where you can add multiple bags of milk with one entry. For example, 10 bags at 4 oz each. It’s kind of annoying having to enter each bag at a time. Also I would love if I was on the Freezer tab, when I go to add milk, it would default to the Freezer option. Small issue, but would make the app better.

Most recent update hindered the app. I loved loved loved this app until the most recent update easily a 5 star app before the most recent update, now it keeps changing my sons bday in the settings and the amount of milk for each age group and no matter how many times I close out of the app and restart it, it does not let me update the settings info. I get a box that pops up “loading” and after more than 15 minutes that box never goes away and the info is unable to be updated. When I try to refresh the stats page same thing a box pops up and never goes away... It’s getting frustrating as I return back to work in 3 weeks and can’t get an accurate idea how long the milk I pump will last my son until.

Must have app!. I wish I had found this sooner!! I’m on my fourth exclusively pumping journey which is my second journey as an overproducer. I donate milk to a milk bank and this app has been a game changer! I created 3 separate “freezers” - 1 for milk for my baby, 1 for milk to donate, and 1 for bath milk. Now I can easily see how milk I have in the freezer for each category by viewing the stats. I highly recommend this app to anyone who is breastfeeding and/or pumping

Not worth it. I love the intent of this app! It’s pretty well designed and it’s fun to easily see your average stash. Unfortunately, some glitches made it not worth it for me. Multiple times I was logged out and asked to relog in. However, when I tried to reset my password I never received an email. This meant I had to track on a separate note on my phone and update the app when it randomly started working again. I also found it difficult to remove milk from bricks. I’ve ended up just using a Google spreadsheet. I actually think it’s easier to track. It doesn’t show you the average amount stashed but I don’t actually think that’s helpful - probably anxiety inducing for some.

Meh. I love this app for the fact that I can track my milk, but lately my charts have been way off. It’s showing I’ve logged milk up to a week from now but how is that even possible? It’s messing with my averages and I don’t trust the dates it says my milk will last to. Very confusing.

Absolute lifesaver!. This app is wonderful! You can track fridge, freezer, and deep freezer stashes, it will calculate both best by and use by dates for you, it shows stats overall from your stashes, and (the best part!) you can add other caregivers to allow them to add and/or remove from your stash! Definitely worth the money!

Updated review - Menu bar problems. Just downloaded the app to use to track my pumped milk, but when I try and go between the different screens like between milk and stats or pumping calculator the menu doesn’t disappear and you can’t click on anything within that section. You only can click on a different section within the menu but the menu stays up. Update: aside from the menu bar not working between sections I am loving the app being able to track my stored milk and how it tells me when I need to use it by. The developer responded with a way to fix the menu bar issue by going into settings and it’s seemed to help the issue.

Improve my needed but great app overall. This app is amazing but I wish you could easily move milk from once place another. For example being able to move the milk From fridge to deep freeze!

Pitcher Method. UPDATE** The owner of this app is an absolutely incredibly sweet human and responded back to me very quickly with a fix she made for the stats page for this problem as well as a detailed description of how to use the app from there! I cannot recommend this app enough! I really want to love this app as I love the concept… but it’s not working for me with using the pitcher method. Maybe I am just doing it wrong but it’s confusing. For example, I add my first pump of the day for day 1. Any time I pump after that for the next 2-3 days I add milk to this same log so it’s all on one log. So say I now have 40oz in this one log, I use partial amounts of this for a few bottles throughout the day so I give her a bottle and mark used partial amount - 4oz. And then I want to move any remaining amount to the freezer section at the end of 3 days. Well, it seems to throw off my total numbers in the stats section when I do any of this. When I mark partial amounts as used it’s as if I never even pumped those amounts. So I initially had 40oz, so my total was let’s say 540oz on my stats screen, when I mark I used a partial amount of 4oz from the 40oz it removes that 4oz from my “Total” on the stats menu. I really love to see the total amount I have pumped so it’s sad that it acts like I never even made that.

Fantastic app development. I never review apps but I did want to come and review this one because I find this app to be incredibly helpful for managing a milk stash across multiple locations. The creamer, Jennifer, is BEYOND helpful with explaining things in the app and implementing new changes as they come up. Worth the $2.

Best App Ever. I’m a very organized person and needed a way to keep track of all the milk in my freezers. This app is a game changer! Not only does it notify you of expiring milk but it also helps keep everything so organized! This app is a must for oversuppliers!

Help. I love this app I donated my milk and I love the donate button but when I go to the Home Screen it says donated but keeps the oz in the available portion but it’s not available anymore am I doing something wrong?

Great app!. I was so skeptical at first paying for the app but super happy that I did! I am an over producer for my twins and this app has helped me so much with organizing my freezer stash. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to tell me how many “bricks” I have in the freezer

Awesome app. I just got the app, but compared to others it is super nice and more user friendly! The only thing I would suggest or wish it had would be a move option from the fridge to the freezer!

Phenomenal - clearly made by someone who gets it. DairyBar is such a wonderful app - it is so easy to use, and it is clearly made by someone who understands what it’s like to pump and track your milk. I loved how easy it was to input milk, and to make adjustments in amounts used, where it’s stored, etc. It became part of my routine when bagging and freezing milk, and gave me so much more visibility into my stash. I also loved the “goal” feature that helped me figure out how much more milk I needed to stash to feed my baby until a certain date. The one time I had a technical issue, I submitted a bug report and heard back very quickly with a resolution.

Update your App. Please update the app to allow to select multiple bags and to move to donate. This used to be a feature and you got rid of it. Currently you can only select multiple bags and move to either fridge, freezer or deep freeze. PLEASE FIX THIS. So difficult to manually move thousands of bags one by one to the donate category.

Best Milk Tracker!. I’ve used this app since my first baby 2 years ago and it’s so worth it! It is so simple and doesn’t have a bunch of extra unnecessary things in it. I love that I can see the available milk as well as the total milk!

Honest Review. I don't usually leave reviews, but this app is absolutely worth it. With my first baby, I never had to worry about pumping or logging milk storage, so this task felt daunting at first. Thankfully, this app made everything simple and easy. First, it's incredibly user-friendly and customizable, allowing me to adjust units of measurement and storage locations. My son was born premature, and I've been juggling trips between home and the NICU. This app has been a lifesaver, letting me track my milk storage no matter where I am. I also appreciate how easy it was to catch up on logging milk, even weeks after the fact. This app is definitely worth the investment, and I’m recommending it to all my fellow lactating moms!

Couldn’t pump without it!. I just wanted to say how much I LOVE this app. I am exclusive pumper and over producer (second time around) and it makes all the difference for knowing what I have and how much. Organization is key when you pump exclusively! I am I love with the feature that lets you say how many bags of milk you are entering on each date (I usually am entering 5+bags on each day). Thank you for the amazing features! Even knowing how long my stash will last if I exclusively used it is so helpful!

Love the app; please add this feature!!. App is amazing and great for keeping track of milk storage but as an oversupplier I’ll be donating to my local milk bank in Florida. It would be nice to have an option to move stored milk into a donated category. Other than that, get this app.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I LOVE this app. I was starting to build a freezer stash, but I was also breastfeeding. I couldn’t find an app that worked for me and wasn’t heavily focused on exclusively pumping. I was about to give up and make a notebook to track it when I found this app. It does exactly what I wanted. I could track my freezer stash and find out how long I would need to pump to have enough milk to last until my baby’s first birthday by inputting how many ounces he was drinking through bottle feeds. I was able to stop pumping so much sooner than the other apps said and we have enough to last past his birthday. I am so in love with this app and recommend it to all pumping moms.

Missing a few key features. First time mom here who is nursing + pumping. I use a boon trove when nursing and after the milk is chilled, combine w/ existing cold pumped milk in my fridge. One of the things that irritates me is that the pump times offered are only in 15 minute increments. I already have about 30+ frozen bags of milk with the exact start time written on the bags, so none of the entries I add will match my existing stash. Why doesn’t the exact time feature exist? Seems silly to me especially as someone who is tracking their output/supply based on # of expressions and time of day.

Helpful. I love the ability to find out when you can stop pumping using the calculator function. The only issue I’ve come across is the graph. Even though I’ve added in more entries the graph has capped out and plateaued only reaching 102oz when I really have 181oz.

The perfect app to track milk!. I simply want to know how much milk I have in the freezer so I know when I am done stashing and can be done pumping. This is perfect! I log every bag I place in the deep freezer, and I love that in the stats section it calculates the date that I have enough milk to get to. I tried a few other apps but they didn’t help with the question- when am I done pumping?!? I don’t care what boob produces what ounces or how many minutes I pumped, just tell me what’s in the freezer!! This app does just that!

Hopeful. App keeps crashing when trying to import my csv file. It asks where id like it stored with no options, then when clicking save the entire app closes. I’m really excited to use this app so I’m hoping all my pump data can be added and not manually have to be entered.

Easy to use!. This is the perfect app for me! I exclusively breastfeed, but have pumped to get a freezer stash. This is so helpful because it doesn’t ask for how long I pumped, and it’s so easy to input my milk, as well as see how much I have! I seriously recommend this app to everyone!

App crashed. I used this app for almost four months now and the last two days I’ve tried adding milk and it’s like the app crashed. I click on the app and it just stays on the green screen with the milk glass. I haven’t been able to use the app now and I feel so lost. I’ve tried clearing cache nothing. I’ve had to uninstall the app many times to log in but after logging back in and then going to another app the app will not open again. Please fix it so I can continue to use the app I love.

Temperamental!. UPDATE** app glitch has been fixed and working as it should. Still a little pricey for the issues and hassle but happy the bugs have been worked out for the most part. When I looked up the app it was half of the cost that I ended up paying for it two days later when I decided to purchase it. However, I thought it would be worth it to track all my stored milk. And it might be worth it if the app wasn’t so glitchy. It doesn’t open properly. When I open the app it goes to a loading screen of a giant dairy bottle and never goes beyond that unless I delete the app and redownload it. Then it works one time. A few hours later, doesn’t work again. Maybe I’d like this app if it was fixed :( I don’t feel like it was worth 4 dollars for this level of quality at all.

Love the line graphs. I’ve absolutely loved this app and have used it for about 7 months. I love the graphs but wish we could go back to the line plot graphs or make it an option to view them differently. The previous graphs were, in my opinion, much easier to read.

Great. Love the app, I use it every day to track all my milk. I find it so helpful knowing exactly what I have. I wish we could customize the expiration dates, though. I love that freeze dried just got added, but it’s best by/use by is only 3/6 months, when it should be closer to 3 years. Otherwise, love love love this app!!

Amazing. For my first son I was guessing how much milk I had pumped. This time around I knew I needed a better system to keep track of my milk. I loved how easy it was to input, remove and overall keep track. My favorite feature was based off how much you inputted your child would drink in a day it says how many days of milk you have left. This put my mind at ease often. So sad my pumping journey is over and im donating my leftover milk. So thankful for this app.

Useful app! One constructive comment. Hi Mamma! Thank you for this extremely useful app! I tried the “email me” button but it didn’t work. I just wanted to point out that the app doesn’t take into consideration the expiration date of the milk when it gives me the final pumping date calculation. I want to have milk to last me until January 2026 which means I can’t stop pumping before January 2025 but it tells me December 2024.

Worked great…til it didn’t. Amazing app, I inventoried my whole stash and was feeling great. Then a few days in it just stopped working. I can’t add anything to my stash anymore. Super frustrating after paying for the app, plus all the work I put in to inputting 10L of stashed milk.

Simple and efficient. I love that this app does exactly what I need without any of the bells and whistles that I don’t. I don’t need to track all my pump times and output—I just want a simple log of what’s in my freezer and this does exactly that! It’s easy to use and the fact that it’s beautiful is an added bonus!

Glitches, Buggy, Fails at its only task. This app has a lovely user interface, but is extremely buggy. The app rarely syncs across devices- on my iPad and my iPhone I have 2 different volumes of milk according to the same login and the additional caretaker login, that’s another amount of milk! The app freezes almost every time it is opened. It freezes frequently and fails on every aspect of its functionality.

Helpful. This app is very helpful in keeping track of how much milk I have stored and when I’m able to stop pumping/nursing. It would be super handy if there was a way to add multiple ounces and bags at one time rather then individually all the time. Example entering in 10(bags)@ 4oz each.

Excellent. Totally worth it to log my baby’s milk

Crashes. I’ve used this app for two different breastfeeding experiences now (2019-2021 and 2022-?) and I’ve constantly had the same issues. Whenever I open the “stats” tab, the app freezes. Half the time I try to change the date when saving milk, it’ll freeze. Today my app has completely crashed and I can’t even open it. I love the idea of the app, but the execution is terrible.

Disappointed. I purchased this app recently and at first, I thought this was amazing! I added in all of my freezer stash and was excited to see the stats in real time.. until it decided to stop working. I have to restart the app several times just to try to get it to sync my data and now when I add milk, it is a day behind, as in milk I add today will show up automatically with yesterday’s date. No matter how many times I switch it to today’s date it still stays as yesterday. If I add a note for myself in the entry to know what the actual date is it sets the date back 2 days! Beyond frustrating!

Could be better. Tracking collected milk is easy! Not so easy is tracking the milk that is then being used. I also wish the pumping calculator was more customizable

Waste of money.. The app glitches and is not very user friendly.

Easy to track but might not be accurate. Easy to use. I enjoyed being able to see how much milk I had in the freezer and approximately when I could stop pumping. However, I encountered an issue when I began using the milk. None of the dates displayed in the app were accurate. I had been diligently logging as I placed the bags in the freezer. I’m certain the dates were correct. It took me several weeks to realize this, during that time I had added some bags that I believed were missing from the brick. Consequently, the accuracy of my available milk is now compromised.

Date Error. I was loving this app and spent a long time logging all of my breast milk. Now, when I try to add pumped milk, it automatically changes the date to one day behind what I documented the date as. It’s very frustrating as it creates incorrect expiration dates.

Exactly what I needed!. This was exactly what I needed for keeping up with my freezer stash.

What’s going on with the dates?. I just downloaded this and the calendar is all scrunched up so I can only select certain days.

Glitchy. Really loved the app up until recently when all it does it freeze I can’t get into it. I have to keep deleting it and re-downloading it in order to add milk every time.
