Great App, very useful!. I find this app to be invaluable in helping me to organize and keep track of my flights. Anyone who flys at any frequency should own this. Ali a nice tool to show friends your flight paths.

Don't fly your balloon without this !. I have been flying balloons for more than 40 years and I can say this is the best navigation program on the market and I would not consider launching without taking "HOT AIR", with me in the balloon.

Hot air ap. I love this ap. My crew would not be able to find me without this ap. Sometimes we land in mountainous areas and from the road the balloon disappears. Having the hot air ap. is awesome.

No real time GPS Tracking. I have been trying to contact support to find out why my G4 iPhone will not link with the software. A number of weeks have past and still no word back from the developer no support or contact. In my option it is not worth the money they are asking.

Best 4 dollars you will spend in ballooning. I fly balloons for a living and just being able to track the data from flights is very helpful ( take off and landing sites, fuel consumed, # pax, crew members, aircraft each have their own place for log entry). Analyzing the flight track afterwards can also be very helpful in improving your flight decisions and techniques. I use it in an area that I am very familiar with and I still extract map data from it which is very helpful to get the crew to the appropriate landing site ahead of time. This aspect would be invaluable in an unfamiliar area. Great product!

Flight log - Awsome. Easy to use. Works well. Should have had it years ago. Keeps track of my flight activity. Gives a nice record of the flight path to my pax.

Really great app and support. I've been using this app for a couple of years and has become my goto app. I use it for tracking as well as for my logbook. My phone crashed and mangled the database. I asked for help from the developer and had a very quick response from the developer. I emailed him my database and had it fixed and back to me in less than one day. I love this app!!! Only wish I could share data between my iphone and ipad.

Good app, but could be better. This is a nice app, and the live tracking is great. Needs to be able to transfer live tracking info into flight log.

One of my favorite apps! A must have for all balloonist. I wish I had time to write a lengthy review outlining everything about this app that I like. If you fly balloons you should buy this app, period. Do it.

Excellent. Great app for ballooning.

Great ballooning app!. I'm hooked and a daily user with my ride business. I would like to see it easier to upload a map. To get more than a straight line between start and finish points I have to email the map to myself and save the image on my home computer. 2 steps. I would also like it if the bread crumbs left on the track would interact with Google Latitude which I already use with an iPad in the truck. It's just hard to see the path of the balloon with out crumbs.

Outstanding for LTA pilots. I use this application on every flight. It gives invaluable information in flight, including giving me a view of things like powerlines (loaded by KML) as I fly. Also serves as outstanding reference on past flights, to view trends over time, and also as electronic logbook, with back-up features. Outstanding app that increases my safety in-flight, and increases my enjoyment of the flights as I review the experience with outputs from the tool (like the flight track) after the flight.

Written by and for balloonists. This easy to use program now allows the use of offline maps for a small fee, which makes it perfect for use without the need for Internet access. Records tracks, and allows the use of KML overlays for red zones, etc. Well done!

Love this app!. I use it for flying my powered paraglider. It would be cool if you could call your aircraft an aircraft rather than a balloon, but this is an app for balloons. :) Love to have playback capability of flights but this app suits my needs perfectly!

Much Needed Tool. Highly useful app. Something I can rely on every day as a commercial pilot. For challenging flights it can be essential. Once, when surface fog suddenly encroached below, this became my window to see where I was ultimately able to land safely. My VFR aircraft became IFR capable. It's also great to be able to send customers a view of their flight path.

Line to Target?. This app is fantastic, but if it had a line to target (a la MotionX) I would give it all 5 stars.

Hot Air. Excellent application. Very handy, even in the air.

FlyingOma. Great app. I have been using this app since it came out. I am amazed at how it works. When I started ballooning we only had CB radios. iPhones and these apps change ballooning and the way we communicate with our crew! Wonderful!! No more sitting in a field for crew to catch up.

Great tool. Great for family and friends to follow your flight. They even often meet me at the landing site. Sometimes even beat the crew!

If you even think about flying balloons, get this!. I can't add much more original praise for this incredibly useful app than what has already been said. Regular updates, solid reliability now, multiple user suggestions that have been integrated quickly, and many useful features come together in a bargain-priced package. Its value is worth ten times the price. The track projection feature is a most handy way to check your likely flight path. My only suggestion at this point is to add an option to stretch that path beyond 5 minutes for extended projection. This app is simple to use even for those afraid of electrons. Flying as much as I do, it's easy to get behind on logging flights, and this app makes it dead simple to stay up-to-date no matter how long I've been away from home. If you even think about flying balloons, get this!

Great logbook. Great app to keep details of your flight! Glympse is also great to help your chase crew. Great teaching tool.

Totally Awesome!. Brand new to the Ballooning community… this App rocks! Having a visual map of the flight's track is just cool and the app reminds me what basic information I should be tracking. I agree with another's suggestion that some way to remind me to begin the track (and a simpler way to start the track) would be icing!

Crashing. App is crashing after newest update

Fabulous training tool. As a rookie pilot, this is a great tool to review my flight and learn much more than memory alone. Very helpful logbook feature. I recently lost some data, emailed the developer, and got a quick and very helpful response. Thanks!

Hot air. So far it works GREAT!

Hot air app is fantastic!. I am a pilot and i have been using this app for a few about 2 years now, I just love it. My favorite part is not the log but the real time tracking showing positioning on the map as well as direction (love the bearing bar that stretches with speed), speed, altitude, and even Wind Map that i only have seen before on a flytec 6040. It can record flight paths and display on map, which is very nice too. It now features glympse tracking for the crew and little refinements like trimming your flight track when you forgot to press stop at the end of the flight. The interface looks very good and it has all the functions I could dream of. Without data service, the map range is limited to about 10 miles from the last place you had connection to the Internet, this can be a little short if you have to drive away from home before you launch. It would be nice to have a little more map buffer, but it does work without connection. When i manage to tether my iPad to my phone then the map keeps updating, I don't enter the "uncharted territory". I will download the in-app maps, hopefully this will address the issue. Every balloonist should give it a try, this app is such a bargain for what it provides to the pilot. It is awesome, and Shawn you are awesome too for creating it. Thank you!

Use every flight. I love it! Use for every flight. Today the satellite image to make an approach to land in a non familiar area.

You can't beat it!. This is an awesome app for a balloon pilot. I used numerous other tools to tracks and log my flight before Hot Air came out; now I am down to just this application. It allows me to post my location in real-time by integrating with Glympse and provides me post flight data to review my conditions of the flight. If you are a balloon pilot I say you shouldn't fly without it!!

Hot Air. The only thing that I have not been able to do is track (ground crew) the flight from another iPhone. The app itself is very reliable and does as it was designed to do. The tracking data is as cool as one would expect. The flights on google earth are way cool to look at. I would definitely buy again if I had to! Did anyone notice that we are not pilots but just lowly crew members? I love this app!!!

Pilot. Flying balloons in southern cal for the summer. Just flew 24 times in a month. Love the app. Wondering why tracking doesn't go to flight log.

Amazing. Had to change my phones and ran into some issues with Hot Air and my new iPhone 4s conflicting. Sent Shawn a email and within no time he had me back up and running and helped rescue all my old flight logs. I have to say this has been the best app with my phone and more then worth the purchase price. If you have a iPad or iPhone and a balloonist this is a must have app.

Great App but.... This app likes to freeze on iOS 8 if you switch to another applied the camera. There has been a few times that one of my friends I was flying with used my phone to take photos and when I went back to the app, it was frozen and/or unexpectedly quit. I guess it's not meant to run in the background. Other than that, it's an amazing app and I love it!!!

Glympse integration does not work.. The ability to track the balloon was the entire reason we downloaded this app. The dialogue box does not appear, not does anything happen when you click on the G. I've wasted an hour trying to figure it out.

All you need. I have been using this app now for 2 month everyday hot air ballooning. If you are a balloon pilot get this app. With the map overlays you can put all your takeoff and landing sites, PZs, and a file from the power company you can have all power lines on it too. This is a must have for the balloon pilot. Just love it.

FB stopped working. They fixed the bug with Glympse, but now the only way to post to Facebook is to save a track image and start a post in the Facebook app.

Coll but crashes on my iPhone4. Hey love the app and the update but one major problem, it works on iPad2 no worries but has crashed on my iPhone4! I have lost all my flight data records and the program seizes straight away or after one click. Not happy but hope you can fix. Cheers, Michael
