CIBC Mobile Banking Comments & Reviews 2026
Banks instance on using 3td party interfaces..... Often & most likely lead to some of the biggest scams; some already have been well published in various media and news outlets. I would never use it, Major issue , pretty sad that the bank won’t even consider taking it off, when I called and asked them to...... Gone are the days when you get what you want (products and or services) from a bank ( and pay the fees for them, now you simply get things thrown at you and ,make it worse, I am than somehow have to manage and be responsible for it’s security and any mis- use. Sad sad days for any simple consumer!!
Please fix password Paste. There’s no need not to allow pasting a password on the mobile app. I use a password generator and a different password for all my apps. Having to type in a highly complicated pw every time is silly. Im tempted to make my pw easier to enter which defeats the purpose. Theres just not a good technical or security reason to block pasting.
Horrible app. Horrible and buggy app interface. Need to call and wait on hold to get anything done
Slow. App is slow and inconvenient to use. It’s basically a glorified web wrapper and it performs as such.
Freeze and unfreeze. I think the freeze and unfreeze settings has been removed.. I can’t unfreeze my account now..
Logging in. The CIBC app does not even let me sign in to my account. If I try with my actual info, it says my info isn’t correct so I try to reset my password in which I always get the pop up “an unexpected error had occurred, try again later” but it never works. I can’t even move on to step 2 of 3 of restarting my password. Nothing I do works for this app.
Crashes. This app continually crashes. I like being able to get the info quickly from my phone but I can’t even do that because of it crashing constantly. Other than that it worked for a bit and was good.
My bank app keep saying some features are currently unavailable, what does that means?. My bank app keep saying some features are currently unavailable, what does that means?
App stuck loading. App stuck loading with the guard logo
Worst app. Currently the worst app on my phone.
Broke keyboard for login password manager toggle. Great app in general, but the latest update broke something crucial to my use case. I hope this finds it way to your dev team for the next app deployment: Your latest release broke the contextual keyboards ability to fill a password from any password managers in iOS. I have previously used this functionality for years with the CIBC app, but it no longer works in the latest version. STR: Running latest public release of iOS 16, tapping in password field with a saved account number doesn’t allow for filling saved password nor toggling enabled password managers.
Broken App. App has been completely inaccessible for months. What is going on here?
most garbage bank ever. i’m a product designer working in silicon valley and i have never seen a more poorly designed app ever every time i use this app i want to throw my phone at a brick wall
Easy to use. I use the app on my phone and have found it to be easy to use. I’ve never had a problem with the app crashing.
The worst banking app out there. Half my transaction don’t appear on the app. Another 30% of my transactions show up and then disappear with no explanation! And when I call the customer support rep they say they can’t see anything on their end either 🤦🏽♂️. Also it takes forever for this stupid app to update transactions, FOREVER! And then when it goes through it ends up under the wrong date. I got something refunded on Tuesday and it’s showing up under Monday in their system (not as a refund as a charged transaction) I suggest keeping all of your receipts till you are 100% positive that the right transaction has gone through, how incompetent do you have to be as a financial institution that you can’t get the dates right and are putting the burden on the customer to ensure your doing your jobs right. Complete and absolute idiots, whoever is in charge (please fire the team or person in charge and spend a little money on bringing a competent person on board) of their app is a complete imbecile. The bank is okay but the app is made by dummies. I don’t like asking for people to be fired but the app team needs to go, the app is a joke
Can’t transfer money?!?!. It’s only good for viewing account balance but not transferring money in and out of the account in the app... Why can’t the app do basic features such as transfer money in and out? The app is kind of useless that I need to use the web browser.
Fix Password Autofill. Password autofill has not worked in months - you perhaps need to get people on this. Nov 2023
New design, still no basic features.... Why is there no auto bill pay? Oh yeah, you WANT customers to miss their due dates so you can charge fees and destroy their credit score so you can charge higher interest rates... silly me, why did I even ask. Carry on.
Most of the time the App does not work. About to transfer my money from this bank not only because they drop the rates every month, which I get but because this App is always having issues. Despite being up to date it won’t load. Very frustrating experience.
Missing an easy feature. I’ll give this app 5 stars once they fix this silly missing feature. In iPhone you can only find the app by searching for “banking” and not “cibc”! This is an eternally missing feature for no reason. Please fix it. Thanks
Horrible. I’d give it a negative 1 start if it were possible.
Please update!. I love CIBC but the app desperately needs an update, not only to improve the visuals but add new features to the app. Please do this.
Excellent. Love it
OTP is broken. OTP via push notifications is broken. iPhone XS Max. iOS 17.3
Bad bad bad!!!!. Trying to update the new phone number. The app keep asking for SMS PHONE UPDATE 4-Digit pin. But it never sends it. Neither Customer service does anything and forward the info to IT team nor probably IT is aware of this issue. So frustrating
Where’s the logout button?. You moved the logout button to More, scroll to the bottom, to logout? You stupid, stupid, stupid people. I’m in absolute awe that you’re employed and paid. My hat off to you, you’ve achieved zen level in treachery. That, or your own bosses as dumb as a rock. Why not add the logout button to the top right, next to search and messages? And if you do, don’t add it first or second, make sure the order is: Search, Messages, Logout, i.e. logout is far right, next to the border. You stupid, stupid dumb people.
CIBC US Link. Don’t know how to file bug. But it’s been here forever when you click the cibc us account it brings you to the App Store every time. Can we make it open the CIBC US app instead.
Missing an important feature. Print Pre authorized payment form and void Cheque missing. Would be nice to have credit simulation functionality on your credit score feature.
CIBC APP. Perfect works and give me all the info I want.
Error at sign in. The password field limits me to 12 characters my password is longer than that, I can’t use the app.
Doesn’t work. Worked fine on my iPhone 7 Plus when logging in; now it wants a card number and password which I enter correctly and still gives me an error logging in.
No credit balance refund option. I’ve paid my bill twice and you people take another 3-5 business days to get my refund back. You say your app is the best but I don’t find a option for the credit balance refund in my account. How do you claim that your app is the best then?
World Wide User. This CIBC APP is absolutely world class, I use this App worldwide. I love the feature where a notification is sent immediately to me on my iPhone for all purchases no matter what country I am in. I highly recommend both the APP and the CIBC.
Can’t use password manager?. What happened to password manager support? It used to allow me to use my password manager to log in, now it’s gone.
Needs iPhone X support. Throws an error when trying to set up Face ID on iPhone X. So basically worse experience than on an older phone. ☹️
App. App is good, their client dealing is good ..
Crashes. All the time the app have crashes and updated that all the time and never fixed what the point of the updates if the issue still remains!!!!
New virgin doesn’t work. Doesn’t work with any iPhone if the language Of the iPhone is Arabic
Normally a great app, what happened?. For about a month now, the app claims I have no internet connection either immediately after attempting to log in or when trying to load information from my accounts/transfers. No other app I'm using has this issue. Please fix!
Works on iPhone X. Doesn’t crash. Not sure Face ID works but at least the app works
Forcing me to accept an offer. App won’t let me skip on an offer. I cam either accept it or refuse it. What happened to free will and to the option “remind me later” ?
Useless. Basic features don’t work. Can’t see my own chequing account. Almost all features beyond what I could see at an ATM return an error. No feedback mechanism to contact the dev team. App support link takes you to a contact page with no details about app feedback? Clearly CIBC does not value this customer channel or their customers time / experience with the brand. Don't waste your time with this app, just get a laptop and goto the website.
Can’t Sign On. I’ve had an account for years. Savings only. I downloaded this app and tried to sign on. Need to have a debit card to sign on. I have no debit card. So app is useless to me.
Limited functionality. App has very limited functionality compared to website (which is also limited compared to other banks). For example I cannot do external transfer within this app. Doesn’t show my external transfers under Activity. Cannot see my statements. Only good to check balance.
Waste of space. Keeps failing to sign in due to “unexpected errors”
Does what we need - no issues. We have been using CIBC mobile for quite a few years. It’s been great. The functionality has been expanding and that’s great too. For our everyday needs it’s been super. Validating transactions, xfering $$s, checking balances.
your updates messed up the cross border transfer. Couldnt be able to cross border transfer after the updates, it keep changing back to chequing account, cant even do chequing transfer to saving account. Please get it fixed.
Crashes. Hi, I have an IPhone 8 Plus with iOS 11.1.2 running on it. The app crashes several times a day just by itself. It blacks out and poof, disappears. Could you find a solution to this? Otherwise, this one is of the best banking apps today! Thank you!
Can’t use Face ID. Please come up with a solution to be able to use Face ID to log in on the iPhone XS
Not easy to navigate. The Credit card portion is so confusing
Did you know that you can earn 25 USD from our site just by registering? Get $25 for free by joining Payoneer!
Transferring money. The app is very buggy. I can’t even add a contact to transfer money to family. And when I try to do it using the “one time payment” option it will spin the wheel and just won’t work. Particularly frustrating when your finances and ability to survive and operate in society depends on mobile banking and these types of functionalities. It’s 2024 nearly 2025, this should not be a problem…
Customer service. Terrible customer service, impossible to talk to an agent
Updates too often. As I said. Too often.
Worst banking app I’ve ever used!. This app constantly glitches when trying to transfer money. I have tried multiple times to send money to a new contact and it glitches out. I have deleted the app and re uploaded it, checked for updates and turned my phone on and off and still it won’t work. Have had this issue on several different occasions. So frustrating!!

Violates app store guidelines with notifications and ads :(. CIBC has started to send marketing via push notifications without asking permission. There is no way to opt out of them. Since 2FA prompts use notifications, you are required to allow these marketing notifications to use 2FA. This violates app store guidelines 4.5.4: > Push Notifications should not be used for promotions or direct marketing purposes unless customers have explicitly opted in to receive them via consent language displayed in your app’s UI, and you provide a method in your app for a user to opt out from receiving such messages When logging on, the app shows an ad that you must 1) scroll down to close 2) uses non-obvious styling to close 3) forces you to double confirm closing the ad with buttons that are styled in the reverse colours. This violates app store guidelines 3.1.7: > must not manipulate or trick users into tapping into them, and must provide easily accessible and visible close/skip buttons large enough for people to easily dismiss the ad.
Making me rethink move to CIBC. In the process of moving to CIBC. I cannot believe the amount of in app advertising that just takes up space. Not to mention it’s for offers I’m not eligible for. Even free websites have an ability to pay to remove advertising. Here I’m paying, and still can’t turn off the ads. And I really don’t need to have half the screen taken up by a Costco welcome after I’ve read it, please add a delete notification function to that thing.
Worst banking experience. Very limited functionality, vast majority of features are either “call us” or “come physically”, this app wastes countless hours of my time regularly. This is a bank from XIX century
Awesome App. An intuitive, clean, and easy to use interface. It's feature packed and a pleasure to do banking with. For those complaining about PCF, there is a separate app that works just as well.
Horrible app. App is not working properly after update!!!!!
A bank app that includes advertisements. I’ve been receiving advertisements more frequently within the app. I was trying to pay some bills and had to contend with a pop-up offer for a streaming service. I find this highly inappropriate. The app does not include a way to turn the ads off. I am dissatisfied with this app/service and believe this review to be highly relevant. If it is deleted again, as it was yesterday, I will post it afresh. You should not advertise within the app, and if you do I should be able to opt out easily.
Great App for Beginner Adults to Use & Learn. Did not know much about banking and the like starting out as a kid or at 18 but the CIBC app has worked great for all simple banking needs and has been educational as well. Our CIBC in town has some awesome employees that really helped set up everything and continue to assist any time required through the years!
Credit check. What happened to the old credit check ? Now it says i have 000 credit score which is very weird
Slow to update. It often takes more than a day to reflect market conditions.
Worst banking app. This is by far and away the worst banking app I’ve used. Whereas other apps update balance within 24 hours, this app usually takes 72 or more more hours.
Disappointed with Version 10.50.2. Lost the ability to autofill password using 1Password as with all previous versions of the CIBC App. May have to use a much simpler password which means less security. Also interested in using a Passkey in future.
Keeps adjusting period. App keeps adjusting period of credit card payment from $1 to $10,000 instead.
Functionality Removed, not impressed. It seems, after many attempts to find a solution, that this new version doesn’t sync to MyKey, to retrieve the password. Very disappointing and forces you to remember your password or register the app to use facial recognition. At least the BMO app allows you to lookup the password in MyKey. CIBC app has taken a step back from ease of use.
Password Autofill Broken. Title says it all, last two updates broke and have not fixed password autofill on iOS. This should be fixed immediately. Why do I have to copy my password from my password manager in 2023??
Balances are blank. Have not been able to view credit card statements for several days. Please fix!!
Issue with transfer funds. When I use this app to transfer funds between accounts, it changes amount by itself, sometimes lower than the amount you set or sometimes more than the amount you wanted. Example you want to transfer 111 from 1 account to another, say a bill payment towards a credit card, it might be doing transaction for 1.11 or 11100. Considering that fund transferred to Visa account cannot be retrieved as I have experienced earlier, this would affect your whole budgeting.
Too many Ads!. Each time you login - you see 2-3 ads. Very annoying.
Auto fill password no longer works. Like many others, I find the most recent update frustrating as password auto fill/facial recognition etc. is no longer a feature.
Lost face recognition. Since the last update I have lost facial recognition and password saving in the app. Have to enter password every time I want to log into my account now. Not very convenient way of banking now.
Poor. CIBC developers need to fix this issue. Blank screen when I try to receive an e transfer.
No longer able to use iOS password manager. Not sure if it’s a CIBC or apple issue but I can no longer use my password manager on my iPhone which makes signing into this app incredibly frustrating. Can we please fix this? This started at the iOS update for 16.6.1.
Too Many Advertisements. Opening the CIBC app is becoming an increasingly annoying experience. Nearly every time I open the app, I’m bombarded by popups or banners espousing new “offers” that I have absolutely no interest in. As far as I can tell, there is no way to permanently disable these solicitations. On top of in-app advertisements, CIBC has recently made the infuriating decision of using push notifications to advertise to me. This is particularly maddening since I appreciate receiving transaction notifications. I’m now caught between not receiving transaction info or receiving ads. Nowhere in this app is there any indication that the push notification permission will be used to send arbitrary “information” to customers. Is a banking app that doesn’t pester me with “offers” too much to ask? If a developer or product manager reads this review, please consider at least adding an overall opt-out for these “offers”.
Credit card transactions history and balances needs a lot of work. When it comes to giving accurate and up-to-date information on credit card transactions and balances, this app is completely useless. Do not rely on this app if you want to know what your recent transactions are or your true balance at any given moment in time. You will be misled badly. For example, purchase transactions will be shown as pending for many days after they have been posted and payments are also not updated in a timely manner after they have been processed. And it’s not because the information is not available, because if you call and speak to an agent they will give you the accurate updated information.
The discrepancy app. My credit card’s Balance, Pending $ and Pending Transactions are NEVER equals, the processing time takes ages, it’s not useful. I don’t have to manually calculate these amounts. Stop putting makeup on the app and work on the engine; also, too much place for “offers”; it’s not a selling app, it should be client oriented.
No password autofill. The latest version broke password autofill, making login extremely inconvenient for me as someone who uses a password manager. Please fix this.
Check credit score not working. me and many people around me can't check their credit score most people have the same problem. after the banking program was updated it became very bad
Garbage. Will no longer allow me to use auto fill password feature on my iPad! Super Annoying!
15 updates in 12 months. One has to wonder how incompetent an organization is to require more than 15 updates in the last year. Do the app writers have no skill to avoid the bugs they say they keep eliminating, does CIBC have no clue what they are trying accomplish with the app, are they diseased with change my minditis, do they enjoy annoying their clients with constant changes. Well at least the annoying part is working. A competent app builder and client (CIBC) should be able to design and build an app, test it thoroughly and release it, then offer 1, that’s ONE, update PER YEAR.
Latest update breaks password managers. The latest update breaks the ability to use password managers to login natively on iOS. Please fix it.
Dumb update. Why doesn’t iCloud password keychain appear anymore when logging In
Terrible. The app is horrible now. If you hated the periodic sign in offers, wait until you see the spam that is now littered through the basic account pages.
Auto fill password. Please bring back auto fill password.
Terrible integration with password managers. Have done a really nice job with most of the app. But their integration with password managers like Lastpass is so bad as to be almost unusable. This is a banking app. People and the bank want you to use strong passwords, the type that are facilitated by a password manager. But CIBC has made their password entry on both the app and even their website version so nonstandard that it doesn’t function without hours of screwing around. Fix this or you’re going to lose a court case over somebody using a weak password!
Features gone. The latest update removed the ability to use password managers. Also, the credit score history graph now shows only the latest score.
Mastercard integration poor. The balances are never in sync. Payments may have been applied but they don’t show in transactions or pending. Makes it very confusing to know what pending
I like it But…. The app itself is fine, but I purchase quite a few things online, from other countries. Places like eBay offer the convenience of paying in the host country’s currency (USD) or using their converted amount to CAD. I always use the “Travel Tools” on the app, to see what the VISA converted total (to CAD) will be. I ALWAYS update the rate before checking, to make sure I have the most current amount. The “Travel Tools” converted amount is always less than the amount I get charged on my VISA statement. Why bother having the tool if it isn’t accurate? I update the rate, find the CAD total, and make the purchase all working a span of 4 minutes or so. Never get charged the rate I’m quoted, ALWAYS more. Just another instance of big banking lining their pockets with our hard-earned money. No wonder people are getting away from “brick and mortar” banking institutions.
Too many ads. For the last month I’ve had a huge message for Costco Mastercard support. I don’t even have that card! This is on top of the ads that block access after logging in. This is lot a free to play game it’s a bank app.
Cibc always crashes. You guys really need to step up on your technology. The app always crashes, and their ATM machines constantly are out of order or it says not available. It is 2017 and either you catch up with the times in modern society or you get left behind and all the future professionals and moneymakers will choose your competitor who is more technologically advanced and innovative. Don’t fall back too much!
Sigh. So much less useful. Guess someone just wanted a change to justify their pay check. Let’s face it, no amount of negative feedback will force someone to swallow their pride and roll it back. Check out the alternative banks. This may be a turning point for traditional banks. This is either designed by committee, or designed by someone with no sense of an everyday users needs. You know, folks who check balances often because they manage their income, not an overpaid exec who doesn’t need to worry about making ends meet weekly and doesn’t monitor total balances, or need shortcuts to common transactions.
Bad User Experience. It is really hard to pay something in this app, since the total value always changes after typing the amount. When I am trying putting decimal values, the application transforms the total value in a huge amount. That’s really annoying and unsafe for the user experience.
Great app and great bank. Fantastic app.. and to everyone that complains about the e transfer or system issues.. it's going to happen unfortunately.. they normally resolve it pretty fast
What’s going on?!. I haven’t been able to login to my app in over a week. Neither can my sister. Is there a problem? Can you let us know? Please and thank you.
Notification issue. I cannot receive push notifications after the last update, cibc icon doesn’t appear in the notification section of my iPhone 6s. my friend has a iPhone 6s but he can receive push notifications, please fix this issue thanks
Unexpected Error. Keep getting the Unexpected Error measssge every time I try to login. Very frustrating. Don’t care what the issue is, just make it work 😡!
Need a new feature. In this time is isolation, it would be nice to be able to schedule interact e-transfer for birthdays etc
Worst banking app. If I could give it a zero I would. Have to rest my password every single time I need to sign in. The app constantly freezes or glitches. Extremely frustrating when the point of banking apps is efficiency.
E-transfers. The app works well in most cases, but not when I try to change the phone number in my profile. Makes it impossible to send an e-transfer because the app insists on sending a verification code to my old land line number.
Can’t pay my bill as system glitch. When type in amount what I want to pay it’s automatically add on 00. For example I want to pay $70.50 for my bill but it’s automatically transform in to $7050.00 - it’s crazy annoying!!! Can’t use it for any payment. Sad…
Update removes FaceID. Multi billion dollar company. What a joke.
Login problem. When I try to login in the account every time it want to reset password. I already reset password 3times but till same issue
Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!
Need optimization for iPhone 6. The app is becoming great, except lack of screen resolution for the new devices.
No PC Financial support. Add PC financial support
Amazing! CIBC did it right from the first try! Good Job. This app allows me to track all my expenses, pay bills, transfer money, find ATMs - anything I would imagine possibly needed from a mobile banking app.
Mobile deposits?. Please add mobile deposits. It's nice to check in but I'd love to actually do my banking with this app.
Great app!. Absolutely love this app. I have another banking app and I think this one is so much better. I would recommend this to anyone with an account at CIBC. Well worth the price, and then some. Oh wait it's free - even better. Long story short: If you bank with CIBC, you're a fool not to have this app!
Still not working.. As long as I tap on the screen trying to type in my username or password, the app freezes. Please fix it.
Great job!!!. Great job on the first version! Allows me to do everything I need to do.
Text too small. Great app. Works well on iPhone X. Nice clean layout but I find the text on account balances to be too small. Would also be nice to color code credits and debits so they could be more easily differentiated in the layout. Otherwise great job!
Please redesign it for iPad !. Fine app for iPodtouch and iPhone. I just can't wait for the redesign for iPad. I mean, a real iPad version, not just the present one which is only a pixelised 2x image from the iPhone app. Disappointing !
Great app. A must for any Cibc banking needs. Good clean simple interface. Check it out if you bank with them!
Thanks for the update... I guess.. Thanks for the retina display update, I guess. The iPhone 4 only came out this summer, so it's not like the update took a long time....
Current version faulty (wring amounts). Used to like the app, but this version has introduced a major error: whenever I try to transfer funds, instead of the amount I enter, it wants to transfer 100x the amount, e.g. CAD 68.20 turns into CAD 6820.00 in the confirmation box. Watch out! Even knowing about this and being careful, it is now impossible to transfer anything below CAD 100.00. Please fix this asap. (I thought it might be an issue of my main keyboard being non-English and using a comma instead of a dot for a decimal point, but switching that hasn’t helped.)
Defect:. When asking to update account information, the app expects postal code in Canadian for (A9A 9A9) but I have an Canadian account with US postal code (99999) and the app rejects it. I am able to skip updating however if I were to need to update it I would be blocked. The application should verify country before validating postal code. Otherwise app is working fine.
Cann't login using 3G. Simply Cann't login using 3G
Suggestion: picking a Login name. Remembering the card # isn't ideal and letting the system remember it defeats the security. It would be great if you could pick your own Login and password.
Doesn't work with iOS4 on Touch or iPad. Notification on May 1st of inability to type a a decimal point when paying bills on an iPad was acknowledge. Now 2 months later, the APP won't work on iOS4. They must have fired the programmers! Anyway, a great app crippled and useless for paying bills from iPad or iOS4. They are working on it! Just not too quickly. "We're aware that some CIBC Mobile Banking application users are currently unable to select the decimal point within the application, and we're actively working to address the issue as quickly as possible. "
Garbage. I’m trying to reset my password and it keeps giving an error code. Been like this for weeks
. Great!! Now I don't need to make uneccesary trips to the bank
Excellent. Love it
Missing remaining available balance overview. It would also be better to sort statements by years instead of having to choose the month and the year from the list. That slows down everything.
Dumb app. For some odd reason, my online banking is blocked and neither I am receiving a code on the registered number to reset the password. Apple needs to kick out these dumb banks out of their IOS!
Would be Five (5) Stars EXCEPT. . .. The program should set up to handle people who have more than one bank account. I have a personal account plus a business account and it would be nice to log on and see both without having to keep entering the Convenience Card number for both only because the program only remembers no more than one card number. Other than this, EXCELLENT CIBC. Finally.
Deposit doesn't work :(. Doesn't work on iPhone 6. :(
Excellent App. Lets me check my balances on the go. I no longer go to the bank anymore, I do all my banking via this app. Amazing app, a must have!
Great App. Easy to understand & use !
Unsatisfied. I've downloaded this app more than twice and minutes later the app is deleted from my device because it never works. I don't know if the app is fake or my phone just isn't allowing me to use it. Anyone else having this problem?
Great banking app!. This is the best banking app in the App Store! For the first time on the iPad I have dynamic charts of my accounts, detailing my balances and my transactions. Totally awesome!
Edeposits don't work - always says invalid amount. Downloaded to use the awesome new feature on my ios 6.1.3 device - no go. I hope they catch and fix the bug.
Good as an iPhone app. Not sure what the complaint is, this is an iPhone app not an iPad app. Agreed a true iPad app would be great, but they aren't even sold in Canada yet.
Good. Easy to use, probably the best bank app out there.
Awful.. First, mobile deposit would not work in any way. Now, the app doesn't even log me in to my account, just freezes on the "please wait" screen. And why do I have to use my card number? CIBC should really utilize a username login system.
Nice but.... Nice app but would you please add features like billing history, pending payments jus like the scotiabank app!
CIBC Mobile Banking. This app will not accept 13 digit account numbers. The early version would not accept a login with the message "enter a valid account number". I called CIBC and was told that I would get a call back within 48 hours. They never called back! I noticed that there was a newer version available, so I upgraded (2.2). I still couldn't log in. The error message was the same, but now there was an error code (U102). I called CIBC again and was asked if my account number had 13 digits. It did and I was told that the app will not accept 13 digit account numbers. They offered to give me a new account, BUT that would be inconvenient (I've finally memorized that and am not anxious for a new test). The rep didn't seem to understand that the app could be modified to accept a 13 digit account and that would be preferable to inconveniencing customers. This has really been irritating. I have spent a lot of time only to be told something that should have been prominently displayed in the program description. I'd rather change banks than account numbers.
Needs lots of work. Not sure how others can suggest that this app is beyond a single star. The find a location feature sends you out of the app to a web page that asks for your postal code. It even asks you to authorize the use of location services. Signing on failed for me as well. I like the idea of a dedicated app for my banking but this first effort is not worthy. ATG
5. Everything I need
10.18.6. I’ve yet to see a more robust and user friendly banking app
Fix it. I can't log on using the app because when I put my password in it stops halfway because it's "too long" even though it's not
I love it. I love how I can track my spending on the app... I only have a Visa card from CIBC, and it details every single transaction. If it doesn't let you sign on at first, call them up, and they will reset your online banking. Works great A+++
Meh.. Not bad. Could be better.
