Fix it!. It opens blank white screen, nothing else. Can you fix it soon?

Slow progress in improving. Improving at snail speed. Must be proactive to take in user requirements.

Worst App. CIBC needs to update so much in this fast developing tech world, the app is so bad and so many clicks needed for placing one options trade. So many small banks are putting better app, such big bank not investing in their app looks strange. Actually I am slowly moving out with because of their high trading fees and so bad functionality.

Not clear. The currency isn’t clearly stated a lot of the times and it gets confusing.

always improving. It started off as pretty not so good app but investors edge is always working on it and improving it. That’s what makes a good app always improving.

Basic app and far behind competitors. Can’t even understand my rate of return with the app… Sunlife app for instance is much much better.

Very basic features, not for traders. This app lacks many features for professional traders like: (1) auto-display real times shares prices: I have to press the refresh button to get continuously the current shares price. (2) the selling of shares at the market price is slow (up to 4 minutes before it’s done), and there is no app notification of realized trades. I have to read the emails send time me to realize that my trade order has been done.

Extremely slow to make any trade. You need to pass through many loops and hoops to make a trade. That’s a valuable time you’re missing. Do not like it at all. If it was not for my TFSA account I would never use it.

way to slow. tHis is just gimmicky. tHe price action is like 10mins delayed from real time market. no dollar cost avg for sHares bougHt. orders take time to file and always gets filled at HigH prices. only tHing good is tHe 6.99 per trade. we need better trading platforms in Canada like webull or thinkorswim.

The designer is definitely not an investor. It's a pathetic app. I have lost a lot of money because it doesn't show the investment properly. The investments need to be in a form of a table like any other good platform. I so much want to take my investments to some other banking.

Hard to find features. Not user friendly. Hard to find certain features. Cannot access the technical analysis sheet easily in the app.

Improvements are great. The old app was alright and not the friendly to use. This new format is great and the UI has a good flow but more can be done to make it less complicated.

Ok, much info missing. The info provided is limited especially when trying to look up book value per share to market. BMO does much better job.

Many improvements have made this great. The app functions well. It’s easy to see your portfolio value and book value, etc. Making trades and selling is easy to complete. Overall great app

Not a fan of the new version. I liked the old version better. I can see market value of my shares when I click the stock instead of now

Not good. When you click on the stock to sell it doesn’t show your holdings. Very annoying

Feels Outdated. This is a very useful app for investors and has fantastic potential. However, it’s missing too many features, like the ability to see statistical information. The interface is outdated as it did not support the larger screen of my former iPhone X, nor does it support the larger screen of my iPhone XS Max. More importantly, an iPad version, such as CIBC has one for banking, is badly needed. While it supports FaceID, the menu only mentions Touch ID, and this should be updated.

The worse app ever.. The app looks like it’s from 1990, and it’s as slow as A normal trade is pending for F 2-3 hrs Money transfer takes forever UI is 0/10 It’s sooo bad I wanna change my bank

Not well thought out design. Already logged on to the app try to update my contact phone number but app try to send security validation one time passcode to my old phone number. No text sent to my old number. Select option to call no phone call. The whole point of updating phone number is old number no longer valid or in use. If someone change their phone number how do you expect to update new number when there is only option to send OTP to old number? We’re you blind folded when you were developing this app? Do you even understand testing? User acceptance test? Any of the IT best practices before rolling it out to the public? This is a crucial app for traders like me. Huge amount of money at stakes. You have an app built by a 3rd grader.

Great site for all the information. I’ve been using this for several years and it seems to work well for accessing all your information. Really handy and no need for a desktop.

Improvements noted but still costly. The CIBC Investors Edge app has evolved and improved nicely over recent years to provide clients with the features and security we require to help us better access and understand our investments . One should also note security upgrades seem to have been done. Where the app falls down is not offering clients the ability to have forms easily mailed to them rather than clients having to use their own time to pull up the documents and print them off. The Investors Edge platform remains relatively expensive for clients, with each trade costing $6.95. This effectively means spending a minimum of $14 just to buy and sell shares in a single security. Therefore if one does extensive trading the costs quickly become prohibitive and dissuade one from using IA when there are more welcoming platforms available.

Too slow preparing trades. Also, any time you show a $ amount show the currency and the time that the value was calculated. Otherwise the numbers differ on different parts of the site

Not great. Multiple times the app and website have been down during trading hours. Ability to look at charts and stock information is limited. Trading fees are extremely high for such a limited platform the preforms poorly.

Insufficient. I switch from RBC direct investing and their app is more superior to your app it give most active dollar gainers dollar losers percentage gainers percentage losers . Maybe you should look at you RBC app and try to improve the amount of information at our fingertips

Trending. Good app. Would be great if there was trending on display.

Numerous bugs and problems. I can’t believe they published this garbage as an application. Get ready to face with uncountable problems

Worse trading app. Nothing is transparent. When you are averaging out shares it does show the price where it was averaged out

Password reset. It is a good app but lt seems I’m having to change my password regularly because it does not recognize my password and l am forced to change it when their is nothing wrong with it.

Can be improved a lot. The most important view is to see the buying price , current price and %loss or gain of all my investments in an account in one screen. Currently your book value tab doesnt provide the buying price. Also i need to know the buying price easily in CAnadian dollar for stocks purchased on USA stock exchanges. bine if these are easy to find

Platform. No where close to other apps in regards to trading platforms- have to go into transactions history to find average cost. Getting quotes is horrible and slow. Option chains horrible. However I do understand this app/ platform is not designed for active traders regardless these are easy fixes.

App review. To summit up quite simply “if it isn’t broken why fix it? “Sounds like a make work project for someone to me.Sugarcoating it doesn’t change the thing.Reducing the amount of time “maintaining” the it would give us more time to rate it properly.

It used to be reliable. Now there’s issues every few weeks. For a trading app that’s egregious.

Not as good as wealth simple. Lacking.

Not great. Some weird idiosyncrasies that require you to wait until the next day to understand previous day performance. Can’t handle adjusting portfolio value with trades made during a session. Absolutely no tools to track portfolio performance over time which is a huge shortcoming.

Sucks. The fee is ridiculous $6.95 each transaction whether usd or cad. Plus they want an annual fee if below $10,000 in a tfsa account. Greedy and ridiculous

Awesome for swing trading…. I believe CIBC Investors Edge is great for swing trading or Long term trading, but not the best for Day Trading. That’s why it’s a 4/5 stars for me.

Much improved. This update is very good for the following reasons: 1. New interface that allows easy and quick access to various menus. 2. Very stable so far. No random crash. 3. Finally it is able to remember Account ID and allows copy & paste of password for quick login. Thank you for the good work!

Poor compared to other Big Banks in Canada. Buy / sell of equities is cumbersome, 1 or 2 too many steps compared to others. Having to toggle in & out of screens for market value and book value is not necessary and time consuming. Others show that info and more on the same screen. Zero 0 information / ratings or sector comparisons from Morningstar, Reuters or others. Zero 0 news items pertinent to the specific equity.

Glitchy. APP is not well designed. Has delay and glitches. Do not recommend.

Opening issue. When I first downloaded the Wealth app, it opened without any issues. However, later when I try to open the app, it only shows the CIBC logo and keeps loading there, without actually opening. I experienced this issue on my iPhone 13 Pro, and now the same problem is occurring on my iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Adequate app.. I would like more information. Such as the date you need to purchase by to get the next dividend payment. On the first page of the synopsis of the stock. I also like to have the expected yield on the first page. You need to toggle extras on and look at a graph on individual stocks to determine the rate. Slightly cheaper to trade than my previous platform but not as intuitive. Very good overall experience but I did have a short learning curve.

Edge. Well built, user friendly and easy to use online brokerage system.

Very Disappointed. Why change something that’s good? I was a big fan of the user-friendly user face before the change.

Needs improvement. I only use this app to trade cuz I’m with CIBC and it’s convenient but it def needs an update and to make it much more simple and user friendly. Look at competitors like Questrade to see what they are doing. Would love if this app could get a makeover!

What investment platform. Little to no tools, poor chart data and way too many fees. Could at all costs.

Sloooowww. This app has become so slow I dread making my trades every morning. I am a busy guy and I am losing money because I just don't have time to take the actions I need to take when every screen needs to load for a minute at a time. I have started doing research on better trading platforms. I will be moving my portfolio and fully closing my accounts with CIBC.
