Great camera app. I'm really loving this app. It has lots of features I want all in one place. It would be nice if burst mode was a little quicker. But that's not a huge deal. The one thing I didn't like was it was hard to figure out some features like Tags. But thanks to the help, I'm figuring it out. And the Quick Roll interface needs a little work. I don't care for the interface. And it would be nice to have an option to save straight to the camera roll. I also had to work with their customer service people and was extremely pleased. It's nice to know they support their product!

Best of the camera apps. Im really into photography and have tried many of the other camera apps like camer+, procamera and ivideocamera and I can say that this one is clearly the best. For starters it's interface is clear and easy to use. The buttons are big and clearly labeled making adjustment time fast. Special features it has over other apps are: • Upload integration with facebook, twitter, flickr and picasa. • A clear interface to review and choose which photos to save (this is a big deal, other apps make this process a hassle of multiple screens and sub menus). • Video filter effects (although they add in post) • Burst shooting • Tagging • Adjustable exposure (this was the main reason I bought this app, but am disappointed that it does lock the exposure) Cons: • no white balancing • uploading has failed on me when using 3G • zoom isn't smooth while taking video • exposure control is not full manual and only updates to what is on screen to reference light levels from. It's not perfect but it's the best out there. I choose this over all the rest because it's the easiest to use fast and let's me share my pictures and videos.

Crashes. The app has many good features, but after the last update it crashes within seconds after opening.

Filters don’t work on iPhone 13 Pro. Filters not working on iPhone 13 Pro. This is the third time I’ve switched phones over the years and filters don’t work each time i upgrade. Is anyone on the dev team prepared for these updates?

No rotation at all. I had purchased this app because the website made a review about this app and mentioned that it had a rotation feature, it does not even let you edit the photos or videos.

Fastest camera app out there. As an iPhone camera app fanatic who must have dozens of cameras And filter apps I'm always looking for the best all around camera app. Truth be told this one is the easiest, cleanest interface, quickest to maneuver, fastest processing full all around camera. It has everything and more. Video with zoom is a nice add on as well. It could use a little more sophisticated filters like photo toaster and eliminate the distorted filters would make this a much more "serious" app for the iphonographer looking for the ultimate app

Camera Plus Pro Questions Answered. All Camera Plus Pro users, many bugs have been fixed in v2.6 and it now supports video recording and photo editing in new iPod touch with iOS 4.1 or newer version. This version has one of the best video recording quality for iPhone 3G, 3GS, iPhone 4 and new iPod touch when video filters have been added. Exporting of EXIF is now supported. Video zoom has been removed as per Apple's API usage guidelines. We are exploring technical options to support this feature. Thanks for your new feature suggestions, feedback and support.

Getting better. Slow shutter and unimpressive results have me looking for an alternative.

Good controls and editing features. I don't care about the "cool new filters" enhancement they just made. I just think this is the best inexpensive camera app because of the controls you get when taking photos and the ability to edit them afterwards. The steady-shot and multi-shot work well, as does the ability to download photos to a PC. The next enhancement I'd like to see would be the ability to download a selected set of photos down to my PC in one action via WiFi. Right now you have to download each shot individually, which gets old.

Silent video. I used this app for a once in a lifetime concert I attended. Thinking I was capturing some great moments, I did do that, but no sound recorded with the video. And I did not find this out until the concert was over. So now I have visual of the concert, but no sound. Am I missing somewhere within the settings where I can recover the sound so I can enjoy my videos. I'm not a happy camper. I feel like I didn't really experience the concert like I would have if I had just not fooled with trying to video it for revisiting later. Trying to stay onscreen and keeping focused takes some effort and causes you to miss the live aspect of the event. If the app worked with sound, It would be worth the work to focus on getting the video recorded. I have contacted support about this and they still have yet to respond. Most other app support responds fairly quickly. This app shows no urgency for my concerns. 5 stars if My sound can be recovered. We shall see...

New update makes this among the best Camera Apps. Prior to this last update, I used this app often. It had all the great features of a top-notch camera app. It had a simple and easy to use interface, it had good editing features, a few filters, photo sharing features, etc. The one feature that was keeping this from being the top camera app on my phone was the lack of a video function. Now, it's here! Great job. This addition makes it a great default camera app to replace the stock Apple camera. But...with each update comes the wish for more. A few more filters would be icing on the cake. Also, the best video app in the AppStore is Qik video, which incorporates various filters into the video recording, an audio boost, and an easy access to the stored videos from the desktop through the wifi. Hope the next update can incorporate some of these features. Overall, this latest update is a great step toward the top! As far as camera apps go, this has gotta be your #1.

On every iPhone I’ve owned. This is the only one I ever use. It's the best out there! The ones saying its not working this way and that way and giving bad reviews should take their phones to someone to help them. Ive had this app on a 4,5 and now a 7. Ive NEVER had a single issue with it. It allows you to do so many things. I highly recommend this app.

Bad!. Very limited camera—all I can do is point and shoot! No focus, exposure, nothing like that that I can find. Some strange live filters that completely obliterate what I’m pointing my camera at. Deleting it now.

Worked Great….but doesn’t anymore!!. When I got this app a 5 years ago, it worked great for everything I needed it for. The sad part is, that it doesn’t work anymore. I contacted the developers and haven’t heard anything back from them. So, when I go to use it, it opens fine but when I try to access different areas, the app crashes. Would have given it one star, but when it worked it was great.

HDR....?. In the description details of the app in the App Store it's says it's great for HDR, or something to that conveyance. I've looked through the app & haven't found any setting for HDR. Can you help me out here?

Hit and miss on a few functions .... Great having the ability to set the exposure and the focus as you wish, even when using the default built in video camera function on the iPad3, but sadly you don't get a working Pause button to use too. Quality looks good in the default camera setting for taking video, at least the equal of the stock iPad3 video function. To use the live video filters and the pause button, sadly you do so at reduced quality levels when using the Camera Plus Pro camera option, those don't work in the default iPad3 camera option. Biggest problem I have now, is the live filters for the still camera, won't let you preview anything when using the rear camera, but will with the front camera. You can still shoot a picture in either mode with filters, you just can't get a live preview with the rear camera, which kinda ruins the prime idea of the live filters. Picture quality without the live filters is still very good ( in full quality mode at least so far ), and again being able to set the focus and exposure independently helps make much better shots overall. I still think I will shoot stills in Camera+ as it works without any bugs, and use Camera Plus Pro for video shooting with the "default" camera, hoping they fix the live still camera filter problem, and hope they add a pause feature to the video camera part for the default built in camera.

could be great, but still needs work. I think this app is great for the number of its camera features, for its sharing ability, and for the editing functions. However, while it is "iOS4 compatible" it does not take advantage of the iPhone 4 specs: _ can't use the LED flash _ the resolution allowed by retina display is not used. In fact, I think a number of people think this app takes bad pictures because they are displayed at a lower resolution in the app itself. Sync your quickroll with camera roll and check your pictures from within the Photos app. Much better, no? _ can't use tap-to-focus in video recording mode In addition to this, there are a number of features/fixes I'd like to see: _geo-tagging is a little quirky, sometimes it will use the GPS, soemtimes it will use your IP (presumably when it can't get a hold of GPS). Please make location GPS only, or at least make IP geotagging an option we can turn off _the ability to import multiple pictures at once from camera roll to quick roll would be much appreciated _ability to import more than one picture at once in WiFi share _sharing video to flickr (currently only possible for pictures) _I don't know if there's a smart way of implementing this, but the ability to use both tap-to-focus and the big button option would be great (maybe two-finger tap or swiping the screen to take the picture?) _the app still crashes from time to time, although it's certainly not as bad as it used to be on my 3G

More than I imagined. Well, I have spent a few bucks on other camera apps. I had someone recommend this one to me. I am glad I listened. It is the best camera app. It has everything rolled into one and the best UI in the app store. I love how you can save and edit pics from the Camera Roll and the Quick Roll. The burst mode offers more pics than any of the competitors. The zoom bar is the easiest way to zoom in any app available. Date stamp and copyright features are awesome. There is alot more. This to me is the Twittelator of camera apps. There is not much you can't do with this app. The only thing I want added is a switch or button to switch to video. Its 5 stars as it is now. With video support, it will be 10 stars!!! Keep it up.

Brand new IPhone 3g s - freeze and other issues. I was looking for zoom and flash for my pic and video. Was disappointed that flash was during editing on pics and not available on video. Zoom was ok....better than nothing. No MMS sending in this app...you have to sync and use your original app. Worked a few times then when you used your original app to send a video via mms....regardless of the video size (I tried 1-45sec video length) the MSG would sit there at - status bar green what seems to be 95% sent. And now even the video recorded with original app weren't going either. Email sending worked just fine. Quality not bad but the original app is better. Final draw was when the app would just shut down when I clicked to take pic or video....freezing my phone for a few minutes. I deleted the app..shut my phone off/on...and problem fixed. Everthing back to normal. Sticking to original app. Too bad really wanted a flash n zoom feature like my blackbery had. :( app should be $ 0.99

CP Camera Pro. I love the features, however when I upgraded my iPhone my photos didn't transfer with my new phone. Any suggestions?

Great Camera App. The addition of video is awesome. But even before that this app was great. The ability to do some basic post-processing on my images is very welcome, given the poor image quality on the 2G and 3G iPhone cameras. I have no use for the "art" filters, but I am interested in getting the most of the crappy built-in camera. It would be great if the developers included the ability to pinch-zoom when editing an image. And (hint, hint) if they flesh this app out to enable rough editing of imported images from "real" cameras once the iPad is released, I'll be in photo heaven.

Great app. I really love this app. I've recommend it to a few people. I dont use this app for the filters because there are other apps that have better filters/effects (IMO) but with the update, I'm very tempted to try those new filters... But I don't want to lose the B&W and greyscale. Most other apps have B&W filters that are really just greyscale! So I'm not updating until those filters are added in the update. Then it will be 5stars from me. Best feature for me, is the option to share over wifi. I love that, it's great. It saves me a lot of time. I hate having to connect my phone to my laptop to get my pictures on the comp or having to email them and lose the quality. So this option is what puts this app above the rest for me. 

Not as advertised…. Purchased to edit videos, was assured it could do so… and found that it CAN’T. Only edits photos!

Great Camera App. This app is a stylishly-designed, clean, smooth, and feature-packed application that will satisfy the needs of most iPhone photographers. It has a clean interface and a straightforward operating environment. The icons are not clunky, nor do they get in the way of shooting. The application definitely shows care in planning and design, and for all its features (and there are so many!), remains easy and enjoyable to use. Contrary to what some reviewers have noted in here, the latest version of the app does allow you to sync the images in its “Quick Roll” with the iPhone’s library, as well as import images from the iPhone’s library to the app’s “Quick Roll.” I appreciated the way in which the design of the app does not get in the way of the photographer. The icons and various design touches are unobtrusive yet easy to access and helpful. Definitely worth the price tag.

C. Really.... brand spankin' new Ipod 64GB HD video and your app freezes like a geek caught in a backlight. It's not that I want my money back, it's just that I like purchasing things that actually serve me. I know you would love me to do the technical research and write out all my complaints etc. etc. but I make over $50 dollars an hour and spending three helping you out to fix your $1.99 app just doesn't make good economic sense now does it. Oh, and I would love to use the "report a bug" feature, but I've never seen it because none of the buttons in your app work for crap. You can keep my $1.99 but you can expect I'm gonna get my money's worth steering folks away from the junk you produce. Oh, and I just love how the support link in Itunes takes you to yet another of your sales pages and not the support page as it should. Just one more failure at paying attention to detail. I suppose I am to blame to some degree for not reading the reviews of your product but in my defense I was excited about my new purchase. After reading the reviews of your app, I can see that I am not alone. I should apologize to the reviewers for not respecting their input about your product.

All I can say is... Wow.. I'm always on the hunt for the next big "built-in Camera replacement". The previous version of Camera Plus Pro was what I had settled on, but I was never very happy with it. That has all changed with the recent update. Every single problem I had with the old version has been addressed: it is much more friendly to export files to the camera roll, the user interface now looks very nice and utilizes the retina display, it is more intuitive to switch between the quick roll and the camera, and a number of other updates that I hadn't really thought of, but now that they are there I'm pretty excited about. I suppose if there is any room for improvement, it would be support for more photo editing features like an expanded library of filters, borders, etc., but otherwise, this is definitely the camera replacement you are looking for.

Good.... Uploading to Facebook progress bar isn't accurate and uploading to Facebook is slow plus you don't get to choose which folder to upload to... So taking pics is good, but I still need to use iLoader. Plz fix!!? Needs to save pics faster + be able to save in the background and not make me wait 30 seconds to a minute before i can take another photo and have an option to turn off the preview before I can take another picture. UPDATE -- this had 2 stars bc of the save time and bc of the progress bar to upload to fb being inaccurate. The saving with this is update = exactly what I wanted. I have not checked the progress bar yet but will soon when I need it. GREAT UPDATE!!!! 4 stars!!! :)

Excellent camera and 100% complete App. After over one year of using this app, must admit this is the only camera app I use these days. Quarks and bugs from last year have been eliminated. Very reliable. And also very very complete: Has long had separate white balance (long touch) and focus (quick tap), e-Zoom (swipe) making it very complete. Fast (on an iphone 4). Very large collection of filters (including HDR and others) and borders for editing is really well done from a user interface perspective. Best, you can compare them to the original photo at all time and just swipe through to apply one filter after the other to very quickly determine the one that fits best. I am not sure why this app does not get the highest level of accolades as some other apps which are barely coming to the same level. I guess it is weaker marketing on their side. Was well my $2. Strongly recommend.

YES--AWESOME!!!. As an avid image editor & website developer, I found this app to be AWESOME!!! I've downloaded A LOT of photo apps, image editors, etc... BUT this is the best ever! Easy to use, GREAT FEATURES, & provides a lot of editing effects to include a dynamic Camera Flash. It really is the best all-in-one camera app I've used. Although my review may sound like I work for them...I don't know the developers or have any affiliation with them at all. That being said, one of my top skills is photography & image editing AND this is a must have app. Even their free version is good for a basic crop & simple edits. I give them 5 STARS & highly recommend every iPhone user who wants a GREAT photo app to purchase this. It's worth every bit of the cost!!! Great job guys!!! This app does everything you said it would & I look forward to getting your future apps! Thank you!!!

Needs effect strength slider. Although this is a pretty good app for picture taking, there are others I prefer much more for that. The real reason I bought this app is because of the filters. In addition to the usual suspects (e.g., lomo/toy camera), they are several really nice, fairly unique effects (or, color treatments, really). However, it would be really nice if there were sliders to control different aspects of the effect or, at least, a slider to control the strength of the effect as a whole. Instead, it's either all on or all off. To dial it down, I have to take it into an app that allows image blending, which means yet another round of JPEG compression.

Feature rich, easy and fast. This is the 4th camera app I've downloaded recently. I finally found one with all the features I wanted... too many to list in a review. The exposure control has significantly improved my pictures. I only have a few minor complaints, I wish I could hide the Zoom control, the control for the flash in the upper left corner is only symbols instead of described (Off, Auto or On) and the settings are continuously displayed on the screen in the camera/video view. These are minor complaints that other users may like... it still deserves 5 stars. Highly recommended!

Poor auto focus in zoom. Zooming in causes photos to come out quite blurry as compared to the iPhone built in camera app. Also the auto contrast can cause photos to be washed out compared to the built in camera app. Do not recommend. I’ve stopped using the app. Otherwise I like the user experience and features. Wish the app took better pictures.

Crappie video option. Took 27 minutes of a submarine ride in Kona and app did not save the video.

APP CRASHES FAILURE TO CONNECT DEVICES. This would be an awesome app in theory, given it’s listed capabilities. Unfortunately, trying to connect devices on the same network yields a connection lost on every attempt. I’ve had the app for a few years, hoping they’d get around to fixing the problems. That has not happened although I have purchased the pro version. I just opened the app again hoping to use it simply as a remote camera trigger between two devices on the same network with great disappointment. It then occurred to me to write a review. FIX THIS APP!

Doesn't do much. The write- up says professional level control but this app mostly just reconfigures what the phone does anyway. Not worth the $2.99

Doesn’t work with IphoneX. I loved this app, took many great photos with my previous Iphones. Video part of the app works but you cannot take pictures with it as when u switch to photo, all you see is stripes on the screen. Needs to be updated.

Don’t bother. Made the mistake of buying the bundle. Wish I had my money back. I have other user friendly camera apps that are far better with more features.

App crashes instantly. The app crashes every time I open it after about 5 seconds. Can’t access the photos I saved to the app.

Best Editor On The App Store. This is the best editing app in the App Store hands down. It's so dynamic

Does not work for iPad. I purchased this to use on my iPad for videoing products. This was recommended because it has a no microphone option and editing choices. The ad says all of this as well, however it does not work with the iPad, only on the iPhone. I got to use this for all of two videos. . . a waste of money. I downloaded a free app Video Mute and it works like a charm.

One to replace the original. I started off by using the free version of this app and I thought that was great. I then contacted the developer asking about the pro version. They have always been extreamly responsive and very pleasent to deal with. I used CP Pro 1.2 until today when 1.3 became available. Not only is this a fantastic upgrade but because of the attention to their design detail and the added GeoTagging I have now replaced the default Apple camera with CP Pro. This is without a doubt the best still cam app in the store. With 2.0 there is now no doubt that this is by far the best camera app in the store. They have added VIDEO to the app. You now have the same functionality in your non 3Gs unit in a single app. Well Done Guys you deserve the recognition you are getting.

:) not enuff stars..... I was a professional photographer for many years & I enjoy it very much! Great flash, fast capture/record & easy to use. Only changes I would make is to have the option of saving to the camera roll automatically, an option for moving subjects & perhaps an al servo mode for capturing moving objects in sequence. I use it mostly for capturing pics to post online for adoptable pets @ my rescue, & it is hands down the best app for my photo needs! I truly have tried them all!!!! Is there a photo edit app in the works? if not, PLEASE CONSIDER ONE! An app designed to edit the pics would be the "icing on the cake" to such an awsome camera app. Keep the improvements coming, but PLEASE don't change what has already proven itself to be the best Lil camera app on iTunes! ANYONE who has trouble with this camera app hasn't tried any other camera ... EVER! Thanks!

Needs an update please. I have been using this app for awhile but it has not been updated in over a year. It seems like it can’t adjust to the newer and bigger iPhone pro max. Please update, thank you!

iPhone X. It hasn't updated in 10 months. When are you guys going to update for the iPhone X?

Best Camera App. Does everything we need. Property Preservation company...we require photos to be dated! This app allows us to take pictures back to back. The app stores the photos right in the app and then you are able to "select all" (missing in most camera apps) the app recognizes which photos have already been uploaded and synced. You can then either share them directly from app via Flickr, Facebook, Picasa etc. or you can download to your camera roll. The only thing missing for me is the option to save to a different folder other than camera roll. Hope they add that to the next version! Kudos to the makers!

Video playback!. I'm commenting for the third time regarding the same issue I did before. Maybe this time it can get resolved...but I doubt it. Can you please fix the issue regarding the video playback automatically reverting to landscape mode? Prior to the last 2 or now 3 updates, you had the choice of watching what you just recorded on the full vertical screen. Now when reviewing your videos prior to saving, it reverts to lanscape mode and doesn't even fill the entire screen unless you zoom in, which I feel is ridiculous! It plays the video in a tiny square in the center of the screen, reducing the size of what I was just filming on the full vertical screen mode! Why fix something that wasn't broken? While the camera itself is still fantastic, this takes away from the app! PLEASE fix, or let's just say let the video camera do what it did before the updates!

Black and white doesn’t work on new os s !!!. Don’t buy!! Until they fix the bug...!!! I used this app all the time but now the black and white doesn’t work!!! Black and white is my go to w this app... the last few versions of the os software makes the black and white unusable!!... whomp.

Bring back video zoom. this app is great and does what it says bad but i wish they would bring back camera video zoom. Unfortunetly ive deleted that version form my computer and now regret that =(

Stupiest camera app EVER!. Its so slow that When you press the shutter button, it takes forever for it to start tsking photos! Burst mode is slow! That standard apple camer app is heaps better! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS TOATALLY USELESS AND SO STUPID APP! 1,000,000 thumbs down! B00!

Alright. This doesn't offer much improvement when taking images over the default camera application partially because most of the features like zooming are already integrated leaving very few reasons to get a third party camera application. However, Camera Plus offers the ability to edit the photos taken directly from the app. Some of the effects are pretty cool and you can crop the images to your liking. But the best part is its sleek interface but it isn't too special. You can also create timelapses but I doubt I'll be using it any time soon. Overall, this is a great third party camera app that I'm sure most people will love.

Innovative and flexible. This is a truly wonderful app. It is intuitive, flexible and produces high quality shots. By far the best feature is the ability to apply filters in real time and then to be able to adjust the filter settings on the go including foreground focus. I'd like to see specialised filters that can be applied to finalised photos as the real time filters are not always the most appropriate tool for post-production work.

Why on earth remove video zoom?. This used to be my number one photo/video recording app. Especially because it had video zoom. Please, please, please bring it back. I'm going to my backups right now to see if I can find an older version.

The BEST Camera App just got better. THIS IS the ultimate camera/video app for the 3G!!! I've spent a a small fortune on camera & video apps, Camera Pro is the best out there by far. Help. Since the latest iPhone update my camera pro opens and shuts down immediately. Help I love my camera pro app.

Buggy. Whenever I go to the camera roll and come back, the camera freezes and the only way to fix it is to switch to the front facing camera and back again. This is not only annoying but also it freezes a lot. By they way I am on the iPod touch 4g running iOS 4.1

Same Price, Less Features. The obvious comparison is with Camera+. Yes, good app for sure and really nice, but if same price, I'll go with Camera+ for more features and versatility. The Geo Location could never find exactly where I am, so wish they can add a manual entry.

Simple and works well!. For $2.49 you cant go wrong with this app!..user friendly with lots of options, and the flash settings actually work quite well. The "tap screen to focus" feature is great (plus the inbuilt auto focus still works with the 3GS regardless), copyright options,tap screen to take photo (handy when photographing yourself..no fiddling with the little button on the screen. I've tried a few of these programs and this one is easily the best app out there!!

great camera app. have used the Camera Plus Pro for about a month. It is good-but limited because it does not automatically send photos to the Iphone camera roll and does not allow for sending photos via MMS unless first syncing the photo to the Iphone camera roll. If the developer fixes those two features it would be 5 stars

Camera Plus Pro - Zero stars from me. I just downloaded this app and when I open it, all that comes up is the option to go into quick roll or settings. Where is the camera? I have asked for a refund. Very disappointed and compatible with OS 8 I think not!!!

Camera Pro is getting better. I have been using CP for more then a year now and it always did what I hoped it would do. However the last update really made it a good App!

The only app that does this. Being able to pause record is perfect for what I need. Finally an iPhone that has this simple feature

Happy Purchase. App was crashing when a filter was used to start with. Solved by removing, reinstalling and then restarting phone. Great app and the filters don't require an edit after a pic is taken so you can shoot it right away to see how it will look and adjust if necessary.

Not bad. only three problems I found with this app 1. when your trying to import photos from camera roll you have to do it one by one witch is really annoying!!! 2. video quality isn't crash hot it lags heaps 3. the privacy setting is useless coz you can just click on it and see everything it needs a passcode or something like come on thats common sense. Besides that pretty good

Almost there. Overall this app has heaps of useful features. Only a few disappointments. As mentioned by another reviewer this version has a bug which stops video recording after 1 second with an error message. Needs to be fixed asap. Other useful features to bring it up to par with competing apps would be a bubble level and exposure adjustment when taking the photo, not just during editing. I also echo the request to have an option in the settings to save directly to the camera roll instead of the quick roll. If these problems and features are addressed in future updates it will definitely be the ideal camera app.

Not a bad app. Can you bypass the quick roll?. Overall a handy app! Wish there was a way to bypass the quick roll and save to the normal photos folder On the iPhone. It just makes taking a photo extra fiddly with the extra steps!

5-Star App. The anti-shake feature alone makes this a great app, let alone the rest of the features

Appears to erase all EXIF data. Offers nice functionality, although the UI lacks conformity to just about everything else on the iPhone (look at the "upload" button on the screenshot). More troubling is that it seems to delete all EXIF data from the photos. Without that (especially geolocation) I don't think I'll be using this too often.

Nothing Pro about this - waste of money. Have used Camera+ for a long time. Expected this to have advanced features or at least more video editing. Completely useless for any post processing of video shot on iPhone - no import and edit option. Don't waste your money.

Worth getting.. Would have been 5 stars if it saved to the iPhone camera reel and not to it's own reel. Also photos must be saved. You can't just quickly take a snap then close the app. You loose the phone. Fix these two problems then I'll give you 5 stars.

A little disappointing. It says it has landscape recording, but that's just a complete lie. There's nothing of the kind. I like the zoom, but this app needs a desperate update, and soon.

Does everything I expected.. I have been using this app for a couple of updates and find it is better than ever now. Of the couple of camera apps I have downloaded, this one is what I now exclusively use.

I was astounded with the promptness of the response and the amount of information provided in a user-friendly format. They were aware of the problem and were working on an update. Noice app!. It's my go to instant grader for pics taken on my iPhone. Add a bit of contrast, some saturation and a filter if you want to make a statement and its as good as you could want! Love it.

Give it a go. I have been happy with this app, all it's features are easy to use and straight forward to use. My only issue is the position where the date appears on the photos, if you choose to turn in this setting. I'm sure with an update this can be resolved. Thanks to the maker of this app.

A disgrace removing functionality in an update. The dev's should be ashamed, I used this app because of the video zoom, now it has been removed in the guise of an update. This is an appalling abuse of customers, which now results in a less than ordinary app, I would recommend looking elsewhere for proper camera apps. I will now remove this app and not buy from this developer again.

Worth it for video alone. The one thing I was hoping for in Apple's new software update for the iPhone was video. I own a 3G, and only the 3GS got video, and I've been waiting ever since for the ability to record video on my 3G! This does a spectacular job. The only thing I'd improve would be to be able to send the videos using MMS, like the 3GS can... or even save them in the iPhones photos/video roll so you could MMS them from there

My favorite photo app, once more!. Great app. I like shooting with filters. It feels more immediate than adding effects in post. This app is my favorite for this purpose. The UI is clean, the preset filters are well done. My one critique is that the controls are located on two black semitransparent bars on the top and bottom of the screen which obscures a significant portion of the picture. Maybe this is not a problem on the newer taller format iPhone screens but it is on an iPhone 4s. The controls are white and only need subtle drop shadows to be legible, thus not obscuring the view. I hope the developers will consider this feature request. Then it will get 5 stars from me. Note: This app used to be my favorite camera app but it was broken for many months. It would crash after a single picture. Glad to see it is fixed now, finally, so I gave it 4 instead of 1 star this time. I hope the developers will not be so sloppy in the future.

Crashes. I can't get the app to record video past the first image. So I move on and use something else.

Nice Job. This is the first app I've found to zoom video so for that alone it's worth the price.

Version 4. This application was perfect till I downloaded version 4 to my 3GS. Now the picture quality is really bad. When you use the flash feature the effect is grainy and poor, where it used to be great prior to the version 4 download. So guys I gave you 2 stars cos you need to fix these issues may be others soon, as if you don't this app is not worth downloading.   

Almost perfect now!. The latest update brought this app one step from perfection. The quick save fixed the biggest problem it had. You can now take a shot and, with the setting to autosave turned on, take a second shot right away! Great fix. 5 star if you can skip the quick roll. Merging isn't too bad, bit it's an extra step. Keep up the good work, highly recommended purchase!

This app is amazing!. I can't think of any ways to improve upon this. The developer put so much effort into improving the iPhone's camera it's difficult not to appreciate. This is what the iPhone camera should have been. I use a 3gs, and each and every function of this camera app is an improvement. What a steal at $2! I'd say it's worth more. 10/10 (I love the digital zoom, lol)

Great photo app. i use this app for it's photo editing capabilties... not so much for the video. the new video function is unusable for me because of the ridiculously short time limit while shooting in high-quality mode. i like this app a lot except for one thing. i wish i could just have an easy way to save onto my camera roll instead of the app's "quick roll" without having to sync my phone. it takes a really long time to save after each shot, and i can't just keep clicking away. for this reason, i end up using this app a lot less than i'd like to...

Not too shabby. This does what I want it to, the only thing I would like it the ability to change the default start up camera to the video. It's not a big deal to select it, but I never use the photo camera anyway. Make it happen and it'll be upgraded to 5 stars.

Inferior quality image!. Very poor image quality. Who cares what else this app does if it has worse native resolution than the default camera. A waste of $2.

Great app.. I love the design and features of this app. While I shoot with the stock camera most of the time, Camera Plus Pro fills in the gaps and does things the regular camera can't. Intuitive and easy to use, this powerful camera app is a great addition to my phone.

Best camera app but needs update. I’ve tried many camera apps. This is the best especially it allows to take pictures with different definition so that the file size doesn’t have to be unnecessarily too big. This is the main reason why I bought this app. But now it needs update. The save picture to camera roll function stopped working.

Well featured.. Pay no attention to the reviews below. The app has way more features than the stock cam. People just don't explore enough. You can save in different resolutions, which can help you save space on your phone for more photos. There are also good filters and sharing to social networks. Would get 5 stars if it maintained more detailed EXIF info such as aperture, flash used, ISO, etc.

I haven't paid for many apps, but this one is worth it. I have been using this app for over a year. It was amazing when I first got it and has only improved with each update. I can't believe how many features it has. It is a great value.

Good concept but slow.. This app promises what native iPhone camera is missing: quick fixes to your photos on the spot. However, the implementation is slow. Slow to launch, slow to operate and the quick roll has to sync, which is another step to wait for. I barely use it because of this.

Amazing. Bought this app solely for the soft flash feature...it did not disappoint! Without it, most of my pics taken in my room like dark and gloomy. I also love the live filters; it can even be used for recording video - wow! Sharing is also easy to do with a few clicks. Just a note: if you record video, make sure "time lapse" isn't enabled. I recorded a whole bunch of vids at a club and later discovered they all had no sound and it was sped up :( Other than that I use this app a lot, especially the "nostalgia" filter, which makes pics look awesome.

Quik save saves this app!. My original review was pretty harsh due to the total time it takes to get from startup to saved picture, and being ready to take another. Quick save fixes this, and the implementation is flawless. It works well with image stability, and is almost as fast as burst mode. It even makes the quick roll feature more understandable. All in all this is a huge update that solved my biggest gripe! Thanks, guys!

wierd video app. Iphone 4: the video app dramatically reduce the quality of the image. The rest looks good. This app is really not worth it until they fix this.

Medium quality app. Photo editor is pretty good, and anti-shake would be very useful if the app didn't crop the edges off every photo. Also you have to sync the app's built-in camera roll with the photos app, adding an extra step, but I suspect this feature allows burst mode to work. Being prompted to follow the developer on twitter every time you launch the paid app is getting very annoying.

Terrible useless app. Don't waste your money. There is no post-video editing option like the description says, and the video quality with he pics is terrible. I wish I could give it negative stars it's that bad.

Excellent App. This is the best camera app available for iPhone. The editing and sync options are very good but I think picture quality and zoom can be better, however, these issues may be limited by the capabilities of the iPhone. If this is the case, then the app should get 5-stars.

Taking selfies with the "flash" is broken!. Fix the ability to have the screen flash when taking a selfie at night! Right now it flashes the screen white but the timing seems off since the picture comes out pitch black. That was one of your app's most unique features!

Like the features but.......... It takes WAY too long to save a photo.. It saves to a "quick" roll that isn't quick at all. If yiu are trying to take pics of kids or pets forget it  they'll be long gone before you can take a second photo. Can this be made faster? How about saving immediately THEN doing edits?? Also There is no pinch and zoom in edit mode so you can't see the details of the edits you are making specifically sharpening.  It's a start but defiately performance issues in my 3G

Nearly Excellent App. This was my favorite camera app for my iPod Touch 4, and I have no complaints about it. Now I own an iPad 2 and wish that either this app were universal or the devs made an iPad version. I would have no problem re-paying for an HD version because I was so happy with Camera Plus Pro and all of it's features.

Glad resolution feature is back. I don't want to have 5mb photos taking up my phone memory when the lens on the phone isn't that great. Glad they put back the resolution feature. It'd be great if they had a resolution feature in between medium and large. It goes from 1600 to 3200. Maybe also have a feature for having photos the size of the iPhone 5. Be ahead of Apple's camera app.

PLEASE HELP.. I just bought this app a few hours ago and as I go to the video I just took there is no option to edit. I go to the "camera roll" and I hold on the video trying to "edit" and the only options it gives me is "share|delete", when it should be "share|edit|delete". I'm not even sure if I'm explaining myself good. But this is annoying. And if there's something I need to do please let me know. Because this is feeling like a waste of money, I was hoping for something great according to other reviews.

Needs An Update. Has One HUGH Issue. The app was fine. Some say it had video zoom but I guess I bought it after that, so shame on this app for getting rid of that. MY problem is when I use the Burst Mode or the Qucik Roll option, there is a weird glitch which I can't quite explain in words. Basically the menu to go back to the camera and other options is lowered down to where you can hardly make the option, and on Burst mode I cannot save my pics at all because the menu is lowered. FIX IT!!! I am currently now looking for a new camera app because this is unexceptable...

Update. Everything is AWESOME!. I wrote a very negative review a couple weeks ago because nothing seemed to be working. It took them a couple days but they finally got back to me and seemed to genuinely care. Soon after the update they were contacting me every couple days to make sure everything was alright. They have really impressed me and I will never hesitate recommending this app.

It's ok, but.... Settings like full-screen button and anti-shake do not stay set between photos. I am still searching for that elusive app that directly accesses the camera roll, allowing the user to open, review, modify and delete pictures directly from there. The "Quick Roll" is rather useless as a feature, and redundant since the iphone already has a camera roll. CP Pro is a fairly decent app, but not worth the $1.99 charged. .99 at most, at least until they fix the save settings issue.

First why? Now why not?. So today's update means that the app I bought a few days ago no longer works with an iPhone 3G. Pretty lame, in my opinion. EDIT: Update 1.2 restores 3G phones -- and now the app is fantastic. I had to reboot my phone to make it work once it was installed again, but that happens. I loved the free version, and I think that this version is definitely worth the $$$. Thanks for the quick update!

This one is a keeper!. Like most iPhone users, I've tried a bunch of different camera apps (trying to make the most of the crappy hardware). I stuck with Camera+ for a while, but I've made the switch. Camera Pro has all the features, only BETTER. They both do 'burst' and 'timer' mode, but only Camera Pro let's you set the number of burst photos and the timer amount. It's way more useful.

AWFUL video quality, would love to see interface upgraded to retina quality. Edit: after second look, I feel very badly mislead by the "full compatibility with iphone4" comment. i found that video quality is pretty much AWFUL in comparison to iPhone 4's native video camera. Definitely reduces usability along with my satisfaction :-( Original:good app, a little choppy at times, but not bad. also took me a while to figure out how to transfer pics to camera role. would love to see interface upgraded to retina quality. add that and ill upgrade to 5/5

Camera plus pro. Terrific photo/video Ap. I love the video pause and zoom features! Wish I could get images to store directly into Photo Plus that comes with IPhone! I also wish I could have more control over the light, both low light and bright light! I just took a picture of the first quarter moon and it looks like a burned out full moon! I would imagine that is something Apple would have to fix with hardware!

Love the time lapse video feature!. I have bought just about every camera app there is for the IPhone 4, being a Pro Photographer I always am looking for the best Image Quailty as well as ease of use. This App has both and for a reasonable price. If you are looking for a camera app that replaces the native camera then this is the only app you should buy for your IPhone 4

Disappointed. :(. Bought this app when video zoom was possible, after update, they removed it! That was not mentioned in the update!!! I feel cheated! That's why I purchased it in the first place! The zoom quality wasn't the best (as clear) anyhow. However, filters for video are decent. More filters please! Please also fix your uploads to Facebook! It doesn't load, even when it says it does. So disappointed. This could have been the perfect camera app. I won't be recommending this app until it's fixed. Please fix asap!!!!!!

Problem at first, but better now. So when I first purchased this app I was very angry when it crashed after every picture or video I took. After I turned my iPhone off and then back in this app stopped crashing and it is crazy awesome. Fantastic filters that are included in the app price and nothing extra to buy.

Honestly. This camera makes me feel confident that I will get a grate head turning picture that second at the touch of a button. People ask me did you take that of your phone I tell them yes and then recommend it to them. I have had it for a year now and its all i use. It's fast responsive, the pictures come out amazing, has the greatest selection of filters. The best in the camera in the app store!

It's good.... All the editing and stuff is pretty neat and crap and it's also useful too. But what i was expecting was a better picture quality. I don't know if it's because i'm using my ipod or what. The picture quality is still the same as the regular camera that came with my ipod. Edit: Actually, the camera works way better when you're outside, or when you have a lot of lighting. I'll now give this 5 stars!

I am a photographer - Changing my rating. Love the new features. And no more white screen freeze. BUT video recording is still jumpy. Recording under any condition produces a stuttered recording with video freezes as long as a half second. Unacceptable. I've reproduced this glitch outdoors, indoors, before and after turning the phone off, quitting the app and restarting, same deal each time. The native video app is much better but I like the effects of CP+. The still camera and effects are awesome.

Lock pics?. Really like the app. Can anyone tell me how to use the picture lock? I mark pics as private but then can open the private folder with a touch. Lock icon is open. Don't see an option for password and to actually lock the pics. Thx Reviewer previous, you can't send the pics from the app, you must copy/sync them back to your photo folder and then send. As far as I can see anyway.

Good filters, but no.... I like the filters and especially that you see them when taking a photo or video ( like lens +) instead of only after the fact (like hipstamatic). But the burst mode is grayed out on my phone, and I have no idea why. I even downloaded the instruction manual AND read it! No help there. If you are looking for really good burst mode and want to use a timer in conjunction, I recommend the camerasharp app until they get this fixed. But for what it does do, it's solid. The variety of filters and tools is good, and the interface much better than most camera apps.

Front facing cam option disappears. I'm very disappointed w/ this app. After taking pictures or deleting a pic or whatever you do on this app, when u take another pic or video for some reason the icon for the front facing/ back camera icon disappears so you have to restart your phone to make it appear again, not very useful if u wanna take a pic of yourself ... u can't change the option of your cam right away. And pictures are not high quality pics, waste of $$$$ 

Would be GREAT if it didn't crash 3/4 of the time. I loved this app at first... Then came the crash after crash... But they have seemed to fix that. So basically it IS worth the extra 99¢ from the regular "camera+". You can do a ton more editing, share more easily @ it's faster to load. Also gives you the option to save all pics to your camera roll, camera+ roll, or both. Props. I hope the crashing issue is over (hence the non 5-star rating :),3

My default camera. The best camera app in the app store thus far. I deleted my other camera apps except Photo Genie. Saved me a lot of memory and real estate on my 3GS. Now that you have added video, the only other app that I kept is Video Zoom. If you add Zoom to video on your next update, I can deleted that app also. Keep up the good work.

Was the best. The last update for the camera was good. Like, now you can zoom in on the video live, but now when I zoom in all the way on the camera and take a picture, it dousn't correct the photo any more. Unlike before the update, when I take a picture zoomed in full, you can't see the picture well on the camera, but once you take the picture , it corrects it. Only If you can make the image correction work, then it will be the perfect camera.

Will never use the built in cam again. I got this for some family members as well because they shake slightly when they take pictures. Now they get crisp shots! Love this cam. Just wish video was full resolution when using the effects. Would also like to see an option to throw photos straight into the camera roll automatically... At least an option to do that.

So far I like it a whole lot more than .... I just downloaded this and compared it to Camera+ which I've used for about 2 years now. I have to say I prefer the CP Pro over Camera+. The photo editing system works much better and faster. And I find the picture quality is much better when I have to take pictures of a toddler (who can't sit still)

Please don't auto save vid upon exit. Been using app one day and seems good except I bought for the pause and resume video capture only to discover that the video finalizes and "saves" upon hitting the home button. Therefore I can't pause video and check on another app or do something else ... when I do that the video is saved and I can no longer resume. Instagram video lets you pause even through multitasking. Please fix. Also location service stays on after app closes for long time.

Video works on my 3g. My 3g did not come with video capability. This app allows me to shoot video with an older 3g. The application works, I can save to my camera roll and I can email to myself or anyone else. This app does all I need. But, it does have a slow frame rate and is a bit jerky if you rapidly pan. I have not tried any of the other functions so I can not render any further opinion. If you have a 3g and want to add video capability, this program worked for me.

My favorite iPhone photo app. They have all the basics like filters and sharing to Twitter and Facebook, but I love all the extra tools they packed in: time lapse shots, photo + video (with filters), the option to turn the whole screen into the shutter button, and tagging your photos to organize them. Oh and you can share your photos with other computers over Wifi, how cool is that? My one complaint so far: I wish they would add Tumblr sharing. Otherwise, I'm a really happy camper.

Great app!. This is a great photography app with important features to take quality shots. It integrates well w/ iphone4 features like flash and the front camera, and adds things like antishake, a timer and gridlines. Its pretty peppy and responsive like the original camera app as well. I would suggest tho they update the icons and gfx to support the i4 retina display, and an option to tweak the sensitivity of antishake.

MOST HAVE APP. Love it now I can finally get back into my video editing short movies, I make it by with using the magic part of the pause button... Try it out, have a friend run at some thing then as he or she jumps pause it, have them move unpause, move camera to the Person, save video, and watch your friend become a jumper like from the movie. Have fun...

Just keeps getting better!. Without a doubt, the best camera app out there. I've tried, and deleted most, and some that were quite expensive. NONE beat this app, or come close. As an avid non professional camera buff for over 50 years (point and shoot, 35mm rangefinder, 35mm SLR, 3 digital cams...Olympus and high end Nikon) I find this app to be the best for your IOS device. Awesome. Since I got the app, it has been nothing but the best camera app I have ever gotten. I mean, camera+ is great, and it has some features I wish I had with this app, but because of so many features with this one, it far outshines camera+. The live filters are awesome, and the after-editing is fantastic. Great app

Great camera app. I just started using the app and so far so good. Lots of great features like editing/cropping and especially anti-shake. Minor dislikes: would like to see Burst Mode work faster. It's too slow to be of much use. Wish list: being able to select one frame in a video for use as a single pic. Also would like a panorama mode ( unless its there and I haven't found it yet).

WAY better than camera+. if this app shot camera plus might have an advantage with the 2 finger exposure thing but camer plus pro other awsome features the camera+ doesnt have. So if it was only camera they would be tied. But camera plus pro has video which makes it way better than the camera+

Tasteful, All-In-One Solution. This app actually cost me a lot more than the listed price since I went through several paid apps before finding this one. I was looking for one app that does them all with a nice UI. The UI is professional, has all the features I need except one (camera & video zoom, camera timer, grid, transfer to Wifi, easy access to social sharing, etc.), and just diminished my folder full of camera apps to just two. Support for different aspect ratios (cinema, widescreen, etc.) would top this app off.

Editing highs and image capture lows. Very useful for touching up photos and making it easy to do so. It does compress emailed images for reasons that are not entirely clear. On balance it is easier to get a properly exposed shot on iPhone's native photo app. The flash sensitivity still seems less-than on this app. I like the steadying feature Again it's strong point is editing. It also has an added bonus of keeping some photos private and password protected. Final caveat: I have probably not used all of the app's capabilities.

Decent App. Overall the app is good. It has many great new features. Zoom is very useful and should be a feature in the standard camera app. As mentioned in previous reviews the photos are a bit grainy when you look closely (probably the fault of the camera). On the 3G the video quality is poor, it is too choppy and low resolution for me. Although video quality is low I really like the video filters and wish they could be used for photos as well.

Sharing doesn't work most of the time. Whenever I try to use this app to share on Facebook or via e-mail it never finishes the upload, even with full bars on Wi-Fi or 3G. No, I'm not use the "Wi-Fi/FTP" feature, nor can I since no one else I know is using that. Furthermore, the pictures are grainy and of MUCH lesser quality than the iPhone camera. Support is not very good either. It takes days to get a response. I would give this app more stars if those things were addressed. I am using the latest version, and I'm on an iPhone 3GS 32GB.

Great Camera App!. One of my favorite camera apps. Has nice filters ranging from Hue, Temp, Sharpness to Nostalgia, XPro, and many other filters. Has editing tools as well. Also has Copyright feature to protect your pictures. easy to share to Facebook, Twitter, etc with one step of typing in comments and uploading to social networking. Good quality app for the price! Recommend!

4 stars; 1 complaint. I really like this camera app. The zoom is a lot better than some of the other apps that I've paid for and used. I use this app for 95% of the pics I take. I like the use of filters and editing tools. My only complaint is that the pics are stored in the app instead of on the photo roll app already on the iPhone. I don't like that.

My 'Go To' iPhone 4 Cam. I absolutely love this camera app, & cannot imagine there are any 'popular' cameras I haven't used & deleted - I now only own / use this & Camera Genius. Genius SLIGHT quality nod when have time to really focus, but in-pic editing, absolute fastest performance, & great image quality gives this my favorite 'real life' camera app vote. Have not experienced any of the negative feedback issues

10 stars, really!! ZOOMS, cool filters, video!. I've gotten a lot of camera apps, but this is by far the BEST!! Filters can be applied AS you're taking the pic, letting you choose just the right one, instead of trying to alter it after the fact! Zoom is awesome feature, though I haven't enlarged pic on my computer, so I can't speak as to clarity. But you can also apply filters to video - so awesome!!

best camera app in app store :). camera plus pro is one the best camera app in app store for camera lovers because it work as a video camera and for taking snaps at the same time which other apps don't have this feature and this app and give really give high quality and sharp image result for iPhone 3G like 3GS one and video resolution and quailty is also super and effects are unique. It's a perfect bundle app in low prce for me i removed other camera apps after buying this :)

Camera Plus Pro. I like this app, you can do multiple pics and video. You know the iPhone does not have a flash but with this camera pro your pics and video come out very professional and you can play with the settings to make your photography even better.

Video works on a 2G as well!. Before the addition of video, this was a very good all-in-one camera replacement app. Now, it has video, which works on any iPhone (it worked on my 2G). The frame rate and video quality are decent (for a camera phone). This is an excellent camera choice if you're on a 2G or 3G without built-in video. =M=

Great business APP. This is a great app if you take photos during your work day, Simple and easy to use. With the options of the date stamp and resolution settings, it makes this the photo app I use 99% of the time. The simplicity of taking photos and having them automatically sync with drop box saves me time uploading photos and reducing file size. Huge time saver. Full-featured replacement for camera. Great iPhone camera replacement. Has the features the built-in camera should have. Given the HW limitations of the iPhone itself, it does a good job of augmenting the missing features like zoom. Works both for camera and video. Photo editing was easy as well. That might also replace my Photoshop on the iPhone (PS Mobile).

Great app for editing. I usually take photos with the iPad camera, however even in the latest version the editing is limited. I usually transfer my images into Camera+ to edit and then add back to the camera roll. The editing features are awesome! I wish the cropping was easier though, but I love this app!!

Good but not a replacement for built in camera app. CP Pro is a really good app, BUT you can't record video within the app. I love the philosophy of the app: replace several single-function photo apps (which, by the way it does). However, to replace the built-in camera app on my home screen, CP Pro will have to offer 100% replacement of Apple's camera app, and without video it doesn't. CP Pro adds a very user friendly zoom function, grid lines, self timer (hello Apple?), stability shutter, and some goid filters. Truthfully, it has more features - in an easily navigable package - than anything else I've seen. Oh so close, and close enough that I'm leaving it installed on a way-in-the-back screen, hoping the developer will add video support. Other than the painfully absent video support, I'd love to see a "bubble level" and several more filters. If the iPhone fairy were to visit, I'd ask for some basic panoramic capabilities and a blur-painting option.
