Buyer Beware! App doesn't work, it is useless!. This app must not be ready for iOS8, it has a flaw that makes it unuseable. When the user goes ointo an option screen such as frames per second, there is no way to return to the previous screen even after making a election. The only way to go back is to close the app and reopen it. Another thig to consider is that this app does not allow a user to make timelapse with existing photos, which is the reason I purchased it. Total ripoff! It should illegal to sell junk like this that just doesn't work!

Fun, useful, cool, FEATURE PACKED. I bought this ages ago but just started using it with the last 2 updates and this app is awesome. Stop motion movies of the action figures on my desk to doing a fight to the death with a plastic pig; priceless. Another useful feature is activating the stop motion camera with sound - I finally figured out who was slamming the front door at 3 am every night waking me from a sound sleep (my son, whom I'd always suspected but never proven). I don't get the 303 haters, this app great.

Still awesome. Yea. It does Have a minor glitch of crashing when trying to view the video but if you press on the list line then the play option shows it doesn't crash. (just don't press the play icon from rhe list) doing that way works perfectly for me and rhe app rocks!

Unstable. on iPhone 4 and iOS 4.1. This App crashes at almost every transition in functions. A good thing is that it is relatively usable though because it nicely saves the work in progress most of the time. It needs a BIG stability release, and it would be nice to add the "normal" video resolutions like 720p 1080p/i etc. It would be great if it included fractional second intervals for captures, and it it would not crash 3 or 4 times when doing a simple task. One last comment is that when capturing at some frame sizes and then rendering at the same size it thinks the frame size captured is 0x0 ... This happened at 900x1200 for me. Close but can't recommend it at the moment.

Unfortunate. I was super pumped about this app and had seen it got great reviews a few months ago. I was running a 3G at the time and knew I'd be getting the 4 soon so I downloaded it. Well, I finally got the 4, and now that my phone actually has a decent enough camera to take advantage of this app, it doesn't work. It crashes once you try to render the timelapse. That's unfortunate, and the dev needs to fix this. 1 star for you sir. UPDATE: it's been 7 months, and still no fix. Oops.

Very Nice. Bought this several years back and has always functioned perfectly. Have recorded many weather events, sunrises and sunsets, and long drives across country with stunning results (try recording a drive with one of the others mentioned above; very cool!). I noticed a couple of negative reviews and wanted to put my in my two cents: it's a simple program to work with with logical, sequential operations and very nice output. I've downloaded several other time lapse programs to test against ITimeLapse but they all fall short in multiple aspects. I highly recommend ITimeLapse.

Best time lapse camera app. This app is great. I downloaded and used it with no problem. Some people who posted reviews in here probably didn't read where you can use it manually or on the timer which automatically snaps pics as often as you want. Love the render and sharing abilities!

Nicely done. Does what it claims to do, and does it well. Easy interface, lots of options. Can't complain. It will even render your video in the background! However... The overlay doesn't work properly with 16:9 ratio images. Also, it would be nice if the 16:9 crop was applied to the view before the images are captured instead of after. This would give a better idea of the outcome. Guessing where it will crop only works sometimes.

Needs focus lock. This has so many amazing features, and could be really the best time lapse app, but it is crippled by the lack of a focus lock option. It tries to refocus on every shot, which can kill a scene that has movement. I want to use this app, because it has so many other amazing and useful features, but when focus keeps drifting, it makes it unusable. An additional feature that would be nice, would be the ability to crop larger shots. Meaning you shoot at full resolution, then crop to 720p, which would essentially zoom in without detail loss.

Needs some work. Especially with iPhone4. I can open the app in iPhone4, but it won't let me do the high resolution (that is reserved for 3GS only). Also, it crashes a lot. In auto mode, I can get about 5 pictures before a crash. In manual, I can get more, but crashes when I move to render. I can render after re-opening the app. It has a lot of potential. I am really looking forward to an update that will let me use this with iPhone4. Until then, I'll put it on the back burner.

Uh.. Problem!!!. When I take a shot, the overlay for the next shot is moved about 1/4 frame to the left. I had taken 1 pic a day for several days. It seemed like I was not taking the same shot each day, though I lined up the overlay carefully. I finally realized that the overlay had moved to the left with each shot. I love the app, but please fix this. The ability to import shots from the camera roll or library would also be a plus. I'll give 5 stars when the overlay gets fixed.

This is the timelapse app to get. This is a really excellent time lapse application. This blows away the other time lapse applications available in the app store. For one thing, it renders the videos right in the app, while others just take a lot of pictures and tell you how to export and combine them. It also has a lot of great options -- the kind of depth that one expects from a "pro" application. I just downloaded it, started using it right away and I am most impressed. I can see imagine great uses of this as a surveillance application, among other things. Kudos to the developers.

Need to Fix Landscape / Portrait Settings. I just did a one hour timelapse with the camera placed horizontally - i.e. the video should've recorded in landscape. I rendered the file in "480x640" (since there was no 640x480 option) and much to my disappointment, my timelapse got recorded in portrait mode. If there was a way to force the app into recording portrait/landscape then I would give it more stars. Short of that, I just wasted and hour of my time. Also, no preview prior to starting timelapse gives it a low rating as well.

App no longer works. I bought this app several years ago and it worked fine then. I hadn't tried it recently but tonight when I tried, it won't work. As several other reviewers have said, it locks up when you go to the screen where you select the time interval. You can select an interval but can't exit that screen. Killing, deleting and reloading app didn't help. When I tried to contact Laan Labs for support, I get a Not Found error. No more support. Apparently it's broken and no one is going to fix it.

One of the real gems for every photographer. All people into photography are often amazed with time-lapse photography. With this app I no longer feel sorry for my shutter count on D300. Instead, I can leave my iPhone overnight to shoot thousands of frames and render a movie on the go! Lst night iTimeLapse Pro captured almost 5000 frames and rendered them into a movie in no time! Now that's the app I don't mind paying for. It does the job and it does it well.

Great. I've been using this app for a few months on my iPhone 4 and I love it. Yes it's crashed a few times after I render the frames and go to watch them but all you have to do is send the videos to your cameral roll and they playback just fine. Good quality. Hopefully updates fix crashes.

Awesome App... but needs update for iPhone 4 users. I love this app, it allows you to create amazing timelapse videos quickly and easily. Really fun and can be quite addictive. Just one problem... so far it has not been updated for the iPhone 4. I just got my iPhone 4 today and restored all my apps to it. When I wanted to do a night timelapse with iTimeLapse, it was rendered useless cause in low light the camera's new LED flash automatically goes off, ruining all the shots. Plus you can't even stop it cause it doesn't stay on the app, it has the shutter animation constantly going off. Please add functionality in the app to turn off the LED flash. And please fix it soon, cause I really really like using it!!! ;)

Good Potential, But Needs Work. I was able to make several videos right away and render them on my 3GS. The videos look great in the App when viewing on the phone. However, regardless of what I have tried with the settings the video will not export to my camera roll. When I emailed the video to myself, the video just appears a green screen in QuickTime. Offer more details on ideal settings for rendering so that the video may be exported or sent via email!

Best App!!!. This app is the best... I can't stop using it ... My time capture has been around 860 To 2800 frames ... Files do get big easy... So having a better way to export them will be a huge step.. Just do it like "beatmaker" exportation .. Over network. Then this app would have 10 stars if possible!!

Needs update. Don't buy this app until they fix the bugs that they created with their last update. Generally speaking, it is a great app and works as described. However, recently the frame shifts every time you capture a new frame. This can be fixed by taking a frame and then deleting that frame. After that it lines up again. But when it takes 32 frames to fill one second you are talking about a lot of extra work.

Great app that is fun to use. I have had nothing but fun with this app! The interface is great and the ability to add a soundtrack is amazing! I wasn't sure what to expect and researched a few other apps but this appeared best. I have never had the issue with shooting landscape and having it end up portrait. The app knows to adjust the 480x640 whichever way I shoot. Thanks for the fun I'm having.

Needs a bit more work. Great app, easy to capture images, but confusing when it comes to rendering/exporting. I made a 900-frame video, rendered it (took about 15 minutes), then when I went to save it to my camera roll or email it, it told me the file was too big and I would have to re-render it at a lower setting. The problem is that the app does not tell you up front how large your file will be when you render it at your selected settings. It only tells you how long it will be time-wise. So choosing the proper rendering settings is a trial-and-error process, which can be very frustrating. At the very least, the app should tell you what size your video will be, and then tell you what size it needs to be for it's final destination, or perhaps some rendering presets that calculate proper settings for you. . It would also be nice if you could simply export the file directly to your computer for editing in a video editing program such as iMovie. The Help section also has quite a few grammatical problems which gives the app an amateurish feel, but that's a minor issue. If the video exporting process can be improved, this will be a fun, 5-star app!

One of the best apps I have.. This app is very well designed, and simple to use. The web upload integration is a great touch. While this app soars so high, there are a couple places with room for improvement. • It seems like you should be able to look at full size individual frames in the frame view mode. • I would really like to be able to add my own music on my iPhone as the soundtrack. • A more specific error message would be nice if a video is unable to be exported. Add these, and this is a 5 star app in my opinion. This app has a lot going for it, and I hope improvements continue, and Thanks for making such a great app.

Please fix!!. I just bought this for my 3GS and it was working great until it finishes rendering when it just crashes every single time. It crashes without fail so I can't get a single exported video out of it. Please fix ASAP!!! *EDIT* I originally wrote this review on March 12, 2011. Well I now have this app for my iPhone 5S and it was working but now it’s back to not working again. You can’t even get a picture of what you’re trying to time lapse. The screen is black. You might want to hold off until the next version.... This is a nice app, but it desperately needs updating. The basic features work and in particular the ability to set it to shoot when triggered by a sharp sound is very nice... and necessary since touching the screen to take a shot is likely to move the phone and skew the image. Unfortunately, on my iPhone 4 the onion-skin feature is broken and shows the last image flipped so that it us useless for setting up sequential shots and there's also no way that I can find to disable the phone's flash, which makes it nearly impossible to capture dimly-lit images with consistent lighting. Given the limited storage space available on an iPhone it really ought to provide a running total of storage occupied by the images and renders for each project.

simply amazing. This software is incredibly cool. You can make professional looking stop motion video with an iphone. The software is surpsisingly easy to use too. You can schedule your iphone to start recording in the morning before sunrise and have it start recording. Then when you get up in the morning you can watch the sun rise (normally 20 minutes) in 1 minute. The quality is very impressive too.

Faith restored!. So I've found that after just exporting a time lapse to my camera roll, the video won't play when i download my photos/videos to my iMac. BUT, if i email that video to myself from my iPhone, it adds a compression and then I'm able to open the video fine from my iMac. My faith has been restored in this app! So far I've only tested at lower resolutions. Looking forward to testing the apps higher resolutions soon.

Nice so far. Great to see the updates! Looks like this might be the best stop motion / time lapse app on the app store. So glad it works with my old 3G on 4.2.1. Only thing I would add is the ability for video rendering at less than 1 frame / sec such as 1 frame / 5 seconds.

fun and useful. This is pretty simple to use, and a load of fun. To make long term project takes some work, but you can make some really cool short movies with very little effort. I've made xmas light videos, baby eating, farmers market time lapse etc. Trying to make a year long lapse of my daughter growing or my garden changing is much more problematic but that's mostly up to me and not the program. Good purchase.

So far looks great!!!. DEVELOPER: I know that this isn't what your app was intended to do but could you please add the ability to add photos from the photo library on the idevice? I accidentially downloaded this on an itouch and well... I have photos in my library but I cannot use them... Please, if you can, add support for images in ones library. Thank you!!

Simply Amazong. The first photography application that truly deserves 5 stars. They have thought of pretty much everything you'd want in a timelapse app and more, including music. Vimeo upload button seems to exit app, but aside from that - just get it today if you love to play with timelapse photography.

No Green screen problem. For all the reviews out there discussing a green screen problem, it can be fixed. There is simply a frame per second choice on the render screen that is automatically set to 16, and to get the videos to play on your computer you just need to change frames per second on the render screen to 30. Then voilà, QuickTime will recognize those videos and no more problems.

App Would be Perfect.... but it crashes. The app would be the perfect timelapse maker, its got a great interface with deep features that give you a ton of flexibility. I would give it five stars, but it has only worked for me a couple times. Now it seems to crash everytime i try to render a project. This is terribly frustrating, but i hope they will push a bug fix update. Then i would give them five stars. Its worth a dollar or even 2 or three if it did not crash. Please team! work on this and fix problems! thanks

Works Great. I'm using the latest version of iTimeLapse Pro on iPhone IOS4 and I haven't had a single crash. There are a few specific features I'd like to see if the developer is open to suggestion: - The ability to turn flash on/off/auto for iPhone 4. - The ability to use the front camera for iPhone 4. - A grid for positioning. - WiFi FTP mode to send images and final vids to a computer. This would be especially useful for vids that you can't export to the camera roll or send via email. A lack of FTP mode limits the overall usefulness of the app and is the reason I gave it 4 stars. - Filters such as B&W, sepia, film grain, colorize, etc. - Ability to rotate the film after rendering. Anyway - great app overall.

Review. *UPDATED* My distaste of this app has been washed away. The long time in coming update has not only fixed the previous bugs but have added many new features that make this app even better then before. There are many more resolutions in which to shot the photos and each one has auto detect resolution. So now your movies will come out the right way. The two largest resolutions won't transfer to the camera roll because the screen resolution won't play on the phone anyways, but they now offer 2 new ways to transfer the movies to the computer. Both through wifi and iTunes. All in all, along with all the other updates, this is once again one of the best time lapse apps out there. It's defiantly worth the .99 and would still be worth it if they raise it back to the old price of 2.99

Just needs some updates. I saw this work on my friends 3GS and it worked great! The iPhone 4 was a different experience, developers needs to allow for full resolution add the ability to select tracks from phones library. The flash option is also a must, I held my hand out my sunroof for 20 min as I drove home at night and the flash ruined the whole thing. Thins app will be great with a few adjustments!!

Finally Fixed!. I promised I'd update my review when the app was usable again. I was just able to render and watch a video on the app. I haven't tried making a new movie from scratch yet. I'll try that later and update again if necessary. As of now this app is once again pretty awesome!

Great app. I love this application. Tons of options. There are only 2 things I have a problem with. One is that there isn't any kind of option in the application to turn auto- lock off. if the phone locks, it will stop taking photos. which means every time I go to do a timelapse, I need to go into my phone settings and turn auto-lock to "never", then change it back when I'm done with the timelapse. Second thing is picture orientation. it does landscape fine, but when I render a timelapse that's been done in profile, the resulting video is in landscape. this puts two big black bars next to the actual image, which makes the image very small.

It does work on iPhone 4. I bought this when I had my 3G and it works like a charm. I upgraded to iPhone 4 and it still works. The only downfall is that you can't watch it inside the app, but if you export it to your camera roll, then it plays just fine and I've even added music to it in iMovie. Take time to play around with the options in front you and you'll be surprised that it truly does work. Once the next update fixes the crash when you try to play the video in the app itself, then it will be a 5 star app. Awesome job guys!

This app is a dream. I thoroughly enjoyed the ease of use of the iTimelapse app for iPhone 4. A very quick study, and you're on. Used by this professional multimedia journalist on our news media website. Limited music selections, but the three contemporary tracks were interesting and adequate. I recommend iTimelapse.

Needs finishing. Frustrating that apps like this get approved before they are finished. It's easy to use, and slick, but when you export the video through iPhoto you get a green screen on a Mac or PC. When you set 1 second interval it takes 2 seconds A disappointment is you can only use their built in few songs as soundtrack Needs some work

easy to use. I've been looking for a good time lapse app for the iPhone, and this is certainly it. You also can't beat the price. Lots of options for customization, and a good looking movie after the render. A must get for any iPhone photographer :)

Disappointed :(. I bought this app thinking I could import previous pictures from my photos library. Unfortunately, you can only use photos that you take through the app. My husband and I are building a house and I wanted to create a time lapse of the construction process. Overall, the app seems well designed and straight forward but I wish the description clarified that you cannot import previous photos for your videos.

Used to be fun.. Update: Does not work properly with ios4. Crashes sometimes. Videos can only be seen on iPhone now. They won't even play on the iPad. Needs several updates. For a dollar it may be worth it, but for 3 dollars is not. *************************************** In the first two days I created 4 good videos. Worth the money. Needs updates: It needs: The ability to add frames from the camera roll. Ability to export "only" certain frames to the camera roll. Like the sound sensor, it needs the ability to take a picture when there is motion on the screen. The ability to take continuous video would be nice. The ability to add your own music from your music library, and being able to "fade out" the music at the end of the video, other wise, no matter how good the video is, it will always look incomplete.

Bought recently. Recently bought this app to take time lapse videos of drives from the vehicles perspective. App either will not take frames or crashes after a few frames.

hold on until the app is polished. Apple tweeted about this app, because of which I bought it. :( It looks like a great app, does some awesome stuff, and I have always wanted something like this for quite some time. Why one *? The UI/UX, at least for me seems to be a little confusing. The background processing doesn't seem to work too well I guess. I used it twice today, and the pause/start options seem to handle the touches a good few seconds after I have touched that button/field The time lapse setting (snap interva) doesn't seem to work. My biggest issue with this app is that, it lets 3GS phones shoot at the highest resolution (1536x2048), whereas iPhone4 is limited to 1200x1600 This may be helpful for the developer: Render During Capture was disabled iPhone 4 with the latest OS With Pandora and a few games/apps running in the background I'd suggest people to wait until some of these issues are fixed. But once it is fixed, or if you dont mind getting the buggy version and later upgrading to the non-buggy version when they release it, go for it.

No longer works. This used to be a solid program, but after trying to use it recently it's unusable despite deleting it and reloading it. You can't start a new project without it freezing on the first selection. Want to put it on 'shoot every 2 seconds' - you can! But you CAN'T get out of the selection screen which means after you get tired of trying to switch to manual or sound or ANYTHING, you can force close the program. Want to try to delete some pictures? You can, but it won't let you hit enter, cancel, or back out of the menu. Every option ends with force close. Hopefully they fix it soon

poor iphone4 support. Purchased this when I got my new iPhone4, thier site promised a bug fix after Christmas for issues related to only the 4. It's now March and no sign of the bug fixes. Unable to shut off the flash is a big problem and makes this useless at times. They have not responded to requests on the website support comments page to many asking for an update on when bug fix is to come out. Don't buy this if you have an iPhone4 is all I have to say, save your buck.

Best app!. I have the first iPhone. Non-3g and it renders it on my phone just fine! This app is amazing! This does everything. All the settings are there just like a professional camera! My buddy and I both love time lapse photography but never had anything to shoot with. We happened to stumble across this and we are very happy we did! Worth every penny!! Do not buy any other time lapse app! They will not do what this one will. It is seamless.

Unusable. Old version was good. Latest update leaves no way back from the screen where the time/rate is set. The only option is to quit. Totally and literally useless.

No go. Hasn't worked for me. I haven't been able to use this app once. It freezes every time I try to set the time lapse or a grey box appears and nothing can be done unless I turn the phone off. Hope others have more luck

Waste of $$$. A good idea but useless as it just crashes when u try to play back what u recorded.

HIgher frequency would be good. This is a good app. It works every time and is very easy to use. I wanted it to film a time lapse of my bicycle ride to work. The highest frequency you can do is 1 frame per second. That is very fast and a half hour journey is over in 40 secs. 5 or 10 frames a second would be good.

Broken. Please fix for os 4 it is now unusable either that or refund please. Was a great app when it worked will change to 5 star when fixed

No Support/Response from Developer. Non-existent customer service after the app crashed after iOS4.3 update to my iPhone4. Do not purchase. I won't take time to comment on the software since it doesn't work anymore, and no updates since 2009.

does not work on iphone 4. if you have the iphone 4 (or a 3GS running ios 4 or above) DO NOT BUY THIS APP. the developer is not updating this app, and it DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED on iphone 4. stay away from any app these guys make. save your money. they do not deserve to get any more money for not supporting their previous apps. this app should not be on sale in the store. it simply does not work properly on iphone 4, and they have no interest in fixing the problems. there are hundreds of posts on the official "support" page for updates. no response.

Worst app I ever purchased. Crummy preview of render. Buggy manual capture. Clunky. Wouldn't take muck to make a better time lapse app.

Good in capturing but.... This is easy to use and has some great features for capturing. The overlay is exactly what is needed for multi sessions. Problem is with rendering / export. -Rendering is very slow (on 3gs) making it a pain to adjust settings for best results -no prob just export the photos to ur computer to render there YOU CAN'T!!! What? A PRO timelapse that can't save the photos to the camera roll? -can't join two seperate sessions together either which makes gripe #2 even worse Has great potential but needs badly option to export images to camera roll

Great app.... Fix iPod track selection for soundtrack. Would be deserved of five stars if the option to select or choose your own iPod track for soundtrack actually worked. The soundtracks supplied leave a little to be desired. Every time that I select iPod track for soundtrack option when rendering video the app chooses to blank screen and crashes/freezes which results in having to hit home button to shutdown the app then also further requiring to switch off my iphone5 to restart the iTimeLapse pro app and begin the process again. Bugs aren't fun... Please fix and get a five star rating... Last update was June 2011 that's over 2x years...? How about standing by your product and customers...?

It just works. I've always been interested in time lapse photography but never had the time or patience to do it. Now I can do it all on my iPhone 4S, shoot, render and play! Just tried it and it worked fine. Lots of manual adjustment options. Can't fault it! It just works. Love it!

Not too bad. Can not export to camera roll or e-mail if the file size is greater than 10mb. Can't render anything greater than 800x600 on normal iPhone 3G.

Crashed on my iPhone 5. This did work a few months ago on my 3GS, and I would have given a **** rating then, but now crashs when rendering the shots to a movie on my new iPhone 4. I'm looking for another app. The app needs to be updated, but I cant wait for that.

Almost Perfect but....... A great app that promises a lot and largely delivers. Unfortunately takes a very long time to render movies and half of them for me have rendered out to a green or black screen after waiting well over 30 minutes per render - very frustrating. Hopefully developers will fix this bug soon as it is very frustrating.

Five stars... once app is iPhone4 compatible!. This is a great app, but I feel let down that the potential stops at 3Gs. Will find it hard not to give it five stars once the update FINALLY arrives to take full advantage of iPhone4

Broken. Would be really awesome if it worked. However crashes often, freezes up, functions randomly become unresponsive etc etc. If fixed it will be really fun.

Timer doesn't work. At All.. While it's a very well design app, and some pretty thought out items (sound trigger, manual, overlays for animation, etc). It's main function, namely timed shutter control (take 1 shot per hour, per minute, etc), DOESN'T WORK. I've tried on all the image sizes, and a few timer options, nothing. Once you set up the system to take photos, it just keeps shooting as fast as it can save the file, and re-take a shot. Also, there isn't any way to dim/shut off the screen while the app is running, so the iPhone is draining more battery then it should, plus putting out more light then needed in low light situations. Also, there really isn't any use to having an app set it self up for taking photos at a certain time, if it can't actually wake the phone up from sleep. In short, it's a great app if you're wanting to make stop motion animation, but if you're needing actually timelapse photography, don't bother.

Crap. All kinds of bugs on iPhone 4. Don't doooo eeeeet!

Maybe time for an update.. It simply does not work on iPhone 4. Does not capture images. Does not create time lapse movies. Crashes all the time. A horrible waste of money and time.

The honeymoon period is over. --- Update June 21 2011 --- The recent update made a world of difference and cause me to bump from a 1 star rating bak to 3. Shot a time lapse today and it worked flawlessly. The new, much needed features such as the ability to select tracks from iTunes, better frame editing options and background rendering are great. I have yet to test sharing functionality. I'll update when I do. Just keep us in the loop next time guys! --- It started out great but quit working. Here are my biggest gripes: (I'm on a 3GS) 1. Doesn't even save captured images anymore 2. Often crashes after render 3. Appears to longer be supported, haven't seen an update in ages 4. Sharing to vimeo doesn't work 5. Without vimeo sharing impossible to get HD vids off the device. Give us our money back or support your product. -G

Absolutely Awesome App. As a photographer and owner of the Joby GorillapodMobile this app is a must have. Well thought out interface and options, resolutions ranging from low quality preview to full res on iPhone 3GS the only issue I had was lack of saving to camera roll or desktop via dync due to filesizes... Either way it's become one of my most used apps (be sure to have a full battery or plugged into a power source) and main battery drains ;)

Disappointment. Used to be one of my favorite apps. Now it never works, and simply freezes up. Time to look for a different one.

Great but crashes. This is an awesome app but it crashes after you take pictures. You just have to go back in and all the pics are there. It's just very annoying.

Do NOT buy!!!. Do NOT buy this app. I have an iPhone 4 and it does not work. Food thing it was only $0.99 but still a waste of money and time. Someone is getting rich off this garbage! The only reason I'll give this app one star is because it won't let me choose zero!

Great!. Works well and can make stop motion videos easily, very user friendly and can make entertaining videos.

Great and fun. I've been having a great laugh with this app after downloading it last night. There is one area that needs fixing ASAP: the 1 sec. burst does not work, it's more like 2 sec. - capturing at 640x480 on iPhone 3Gs. (Could have somthing to do with how slowly the app is saving each image while capturing.) Other than that, I have no complaints and look forward to making some fun movies!

Not worth it. This app crashes all the time, and your photos are gone. The interface is crappy too. I tried hard to like it because it was $3 but now I'm deleting it.

Add audio from iTunes. Nice app, but since no app can meet the different tastes in sounds, would deserve 5 stars if added option to add audio from iTunes (like nature, custom...etc) Thanks

USED to work. Was great on my 3G but crashes constantly on my 4. I now find myself wanting my money back. It's useless on the 4. Only gave it 2 stars because I DID get some great use out of it on my 3G. Don't buy this unless the bugs are fixed!

Crash bang boom.. Let's you capture the images, render the video, then after all that, it crashes to the desktop. Needs a patch update! C'mon.... (iPhone 4)

Great App. I was researching the web on how to make time lapse videos with my DLSR when it occurred to me that perhaps they have an app for that. Amazingly they have several, this being the highest rated and most recommended one. I had the app less then 24 hours and have already produced several time lapse videos. Straight forward and easy to use ( I was making a time lapse within minutes of downloading then opening the app.). What a great experience. While I'll still go through the multiple steps to make one with my DSLR eventually ( Can't get the same optics with iPhone), this app has opened my eyes to the possibilities.

Hi res timelapse!. Not without its bugs, but still the best. Will export image sequences high enough resolution for full 1080 HD. One of my most often used apps 

Ive been robbed. My app no longer works i cant even access videos ive made in the past so disappointed. Do not download this pos app and the developers can go eat 💩. I wish there was a ratting lower than 1.

Michel NYC. The start button only works about 20% of the time. I have to keep restarting it to start a new project to work. The flash keeps going off even though it's turned off (iPhone 4), killing the battery and ruining the visual look of the timelapse. All kinds of bugs. I can't render a single video no matter how many times I restart it! I have to export all the photos and use Quicktime to turn the images into a timelapse. Not worth the time or trouble. JUNK!

Perfect. For this small device it makes big job. Tripod is not a problem you can use a chewing gum to make it stady. Use your imagination :)

Gr8 fun!. Simple to use, good quality, free soundtracks... but most of all, just a lot of fun to make & watch your creations. Suggestion: let me choose which frame will be the project key frame.

Great app if only we could export!. An awesome app, too bad the development team forgets to reply to comments they request. No updates in a long time. This is a great tool amd a lot of fun to use, but the lack of export capability drops the usefulness and realistic capability of this app way down the ladder, especially with no response from the development team to consistent feedback.

Large file stuck on iphone, argg. This has been said before, but please update with a function where large files can be transferred someway without degrading the video or cuttin it. Reason y is because i decided to do an over night capture of wash dc blizzard n theres no way i can transfer this!

Amazing. This app is what I use for all of my time-lapses now. Its perfect, but it'd be better if you could stop/start the time-lapse with the + button. Overall its the best time-lapse app out there.

Nice App For Static Light Conditions. I'm an iPhone 4 user and am pleased with the latest update, which finally makes this a useable app. Unfortunately you can't lock exposure for the duration of a capture, which makes capturing the rising or setting Sun impossible in the automatic mode.

No Longer Works. Don't purchase this app!! I liked this program when it worked, but no longer. I mean, it no longer works! Since it hasn't been updated for a few years (2011) and the developer and app support links are broken 404 messages, I think users using any recent iOS update are SOL. Apple I'm not sure what your policy is on keeping obsolete and unsupported apps around, but please be sure no one is purchasing this.

Works well... if you don't film at night. I've found that the app works well enough, but without any way of turning off the flash (a fix stated for December 4 months ago), this application is completely worthless at night or in low-light conditions, which are some of the most popular applications for time lapse... Filming the sun rise? Hope you don't have anything reflective nearby.

BUGS!. This app has some good settings/features, but it too often either crashes or doesn't correctly save the images... and then you're whole video is lost. This is especially irritating if you're constructing something during the timelapse. I just can't recommend this app, and have since downloaded "TimeLapse" app, which hasn't crashed yet and works well.

Great app. This app is exactly what i wanted plus more. The timelapse videos end up being great and have amazing quality. This is my 1st time using timelapse and now i find myself making more and more videos. Really fun.

Crashes when trying to render. Worked the first couple times, but after adding frames and changing the filename of my video (a feature in the app), it asks if I want to overwrite the video already on disk (even though there isn't one). When I tap "overwrite" it shows the rendering screen for a second, then crashes. Every time.

Where is the developer?. This app had a lot of functionality but it hasn't been updated since December 2009. Also, they have not posted any responses to people's comments on their site since December 21, 2009. It doesn't work well on ios4. It crashes a lot. Hopefully, a major update is in the works. If so, the developer should let everyone know. If not, then don't buy.

Awsome App. I love this App!!! I took it to a Rob Zombie concert and have the coolest video. Great quality and alot of fun. Only request is if we can add our own soundtracks from our library...do that and this app is even better.

DO NOT BUY!!. this app crashes every time you try to render it causing it to not make the video! On their website it says "we will get this fixed before Christmas" it's APRIL! App Does Not Work. iTimeLapse Pro is nice eye candy, but does NOT work with iOS 4. Their last post on the "bug" is dated November 2010 telling people they are working on it. It crashes each and every time you try to render the photos taken, yet they are still selling it. This app should be removed from the App Store until it actually works and does what it claims to do.

Outstanding!. I love it! I only wish you could control the speed of the video when it plays and could have more then 1 video renered at a time;) but it is soooooo amazing I recomend doing a scrabble game one and some1 making Legos or a clock!

It works with...... OS 3.1.1 on 3G you can only export to camera roll if at 340x480 resolution all higher settings may work with + 3Gs or higher but according to reviews 3GS and 4 is not compatible. It is not compatible w/OS4 and higher according to other reviews. It does have a timer, manuel, and sound activated settings to take the images.

Bugs!. I love every feature of this app, but there is one bug that annoys me to pieces! I can't choose my own music anymore! when I click the feture, it takes me to a blank screen that I can't get rid of without refreshing the app. it's annoying! you can only reuse the given six songs so many times! I will give it a five star when this is fixed!

Unfortunate. I was super pumped about this app and had seen it got great reviews a few months ago. I was running a 3G at the time and knew I'd be getting the 4 soon so I downloaded it. Well, I finally got the 4, and now that my phone actually has a decent enough camera to take advantage of this app, it doesn't work. That's unfortunate, and the dev needs to fix this. 1 star for you sir.

Love, love, love this app. Possibly my new favorite app. I did some construction on my apartment (building a few new rooms), recorded the whole thing, and the result was a history-channel-esque video of the whole building process. So sweet!

It gets better every update. There is no option for pictures every 59 seconds. How come?

Green screen makes this app useless. PLEASE FIX THE DAMNED GREEN SCREEN...!!! I actually really like this app, but many of the films I rendered and have exported to my mac show up as green screen. I can open them some video players but they won't display in iphoto and they won't work in imovie for editing. I have a ton of green screen icons that I can't play and can't edit. Support forums said something about some video cards only supporting certain frame rates but I don't buy it... Why does my video card support any frame rate when I'm using VLC. Can't edit can view... What a waste. What a shame. If not for this problem that renders the app useless... I would have been much more generous with my rating.

Brilliant. It's sad to see that you haven't updated for almost two years now. It seems kind of silly then to still ask money for this app seeing that a new iPhone and more than 3 iOS updates came out in that time. I like your app but I would also like to see some improvement.

Amazing. This is an incredibly easy to use and powerful app. I can't believe simple it is to start making movies. Every camera should have this type of time lapse feature avaialble.

Great but could use new updates. It is so good I have made lots of movies that are way better than any other software. It is easy to use and fun to do with friends. The updates it could use are that they should make it while you're watching it records the audio for the movie.

keeps crashing. I downloaded this about a month or two ago. Works fine when I first open it then when I go to review the video or render it, it crashes. Then when I try to open it back up it crashes as soon as it hits the main page Needs update to fix asap or i want my money back

Non-stop Crash-a-thon. Worked once for me but has done nothing but crash since then. Try to create a new project, crash. Try to render the handful of frames you might be able to eek out, crash. Try to playback, crash. Try to send video file to your camera roll, crash. Try to email the file, crash. This app needs a fix yesterday!

Truly Incredible App. This app is #1 among my photo apps. Not only can one create beautiful presentations, its value as an instrument of scientific study for events involving time and motion is great. Motion of tides, storm fronts, change of autumn leaves are a few. Good work!

Needs iPhone 4 update. Can't use highest resolution and unable to control camera options such as flash control and which camera to use (front/back). I would give it 5 stars otherwise.

Great!! But now it crashes :-(. I downloaded this app used it once it worked great. I reset my phone and now it crashes as soon as you open it. Could you guys look into that for you're next update.

Perfect Timelapse App for car videos. The ability to take high-res pics on the 3GS is great. I've paired it with a window mount for my car and I've taken some awesome videos of long car trips!

Useful if working.. This app used to be the best. It would still be the best at what it does, if it didn't crash. I have been waiting on the supposed "bug fix" since the iPhone 4 came out. I emailed them 8 months ago, and they said "we are working on a fix, but we are swamped with other app." All I though about this reply was why they kept making new apps, if they can't even keep the ones they have out in working condition.

Abandonware - please update for iOS4 already. This used to be a solid app - no more. It no longer works at all. Do not buy this if you plan to use it on a phone running the current OS. Until the developer updates it, it is unusable. An extra star given for this app's former goodness - really it is a one star in its current state.

Would be zero stars if I could.... I don't usually review to complain, but this app is a serious waste if money. It crashes every time I try to render. I wish I had read the reviews first... DO NOT buy this app until you see reviews thanking the developer for FINALLY updating for iOS and iPhone 4! (unless you like throwing away money) Wish I could get my money back. 

crappy. worked fine years ago, then stopped working for a long time. they finally brought it back and it appeared to work, but all I get is a rendered video that won't even play in the app, let alone anywhere else. a great app, but unfortunately it's constantly plagued by problems and mostly rendered useless for long periods of time. I'd been hopeful when they finally fixed it but it still seems to be made of fail. lame.

Does not work with iPhone4. I just couldn't get this app to work with my iPhone4. It would shut off after about 30 seconds of recording. I purchased ReelMoments which worked fine. The app developers need to make it clear there are problems working with the iPhone4, but maybe it was my fault for not reading the reviews more carefully.

works like a charm.. the latest release of this app has resolved all of the complaints I had with the earlier version (ie crashing during rendering). great app, easy to use.

Fantastic FUN app.... great app all round. Very in depth interface and a lot of versitiliy built into it. I'm using it to make time lapse vids of my 5 month old daughter in her ExerSaucer, sleeping, in her playpen, etc. Too much fun!!!!

FREE... I can't believe it's FREE!. Does exactly as described, easy to use and spectacular fun results. Worth $2.99, but it's FREE. Movies come out like old time stop motion photography. Just did a quick (300 frame) movie of an busy intersection, cars & trunks, people, even a homeless dude holding a cardboard sign. Resulting vid rocks!

DOES NOT WORK WITH iOS4!!!!. Do not purchase if you have iOS4. I purchased this app when I had the 3gs and it worked great! When I upgraded to the iPhone 4 I was hoping to capture better quality time lapse photos , but to my dismay the app would not work. It continually crashed. I would not purchase this app unless you have an iphone 3gs and running iPhone OS3. Remember if you have iOS4 this app will not work!

Great potential!!. This app is technically great.. Just needs a better way to export/ access your video. Perhaps allow network access similar to programs like "files" and such. When video was re-rendered and exported to camera roll... The video was just green.
