Good UI, Simple, Not a bad way to spend .99. This is a cool app... to the developer/s : can we get maybe a few different skins on here to switch back and forth on ?

This is how the compass app should be. Definitely worth checking this app out.. it's a fun spin on the typical compass.

Finally, a useful, and great APP for sailers.. At first I was a little skeptical because the new iphone 3GS already has a compass app. However, I sail a lot and have always thought it would be awesome if I had a 3D Compass on my iphone while sailing. Well, now it's possible, and it actually does a pretty good job. If you area sailer, I highly recommend this app. 5 Thumbs up.

Update for Retina Display. Needs Retina display and gyro support for iPhone4.

Don't Get Too Excited.... Unless you have a 3G iPhone, as your purchase and download will work fine, but the app is only campatable with the newest iPhone.

Bad update. Crashes with new update when trying to change skin.

Nice look, though no more functional than the stock iPhone compass (maybe less).. As a sailor, I appreciate the appearance of this compass interface -- graphically, it's well-executed, and it has a more intuitive look when you're holding the iPhone vertically. But bear in mind that all you get with this app is a different look. Horizontal or vertical, it gives you exactly the same the compass reading you'll get the from the compass app that was included with the iPhone -- and the stock compass also gives you handy digital bearing readout (which this one doesn't).

very nice though needs more features. really like this and its worth the 99 cents, but should really have more features such as skins, etc

the missing compass app. this is the compass app that should be default with the 3gs. now i dont have to stare down at my phone to know what direction it is

Pretty good but not perfect. This app needs a way to correct for magnetic variation (declination). Could use gps to do this automatically (based on your location).

Cool 3GS Demo. This application shows off a good use of the new compass feature in the new 3GS phones. I want more 3GS only stuff.

Fun, but dangerous. This app shares the same tragic flaw as the Apple compass: There is no visual indication as to whether the thing is pointing to true north or magnetic north. Either Apple or these guys are going to get someone killed. This app goes Apple one step worse: It demands to use your GPS coordinates even when you are using magnetic north, thereby seemingly indicating you are, in fact, using true north when you're not. Cute but deadly.

Not bad. But the compass moves in a jittery fashion, rather than smoothly on my iPhone 4 with iOS 5. Good looking display. 5 stars if the jitters are fixed. If you are looking for a 3D gimbal compass, try Marine Compass.

Wow, reminds me of sailing again!. This is neat. I'm wondering if I should bring my phone out sailing so I can use this thing. Probably not a wise idea :)

Not Bad but Name to Long. Needs more, maybe different colors to choose from or background options. Also if the developer could fix the icon so it can say a word instead of 2 half words. Nice start on it I just hope to see more. Ideas - Compass - N Compass - Nautical - NCA ( A for app) - skins or colors - make the icon background black so all you see is the compass as the icon

great idea, but need skins. love playing with this compass, but just black is kinda boring. it really needs some cook skins

Jerky. I agree with previous writer. I would happily sacrifice some reaction speed for smoother operation. Great idea though.

Good solid app.. Shows you your direction. If you need to know which way you're going, this will tell you. It will not tell you which way to go.

3D Compass. Ok, but a bit erratic. Needs to be made smoother in it's operation as it's tends to jump a bit. Not overly convinced of the accuracy of the iPhone compass function on which this is based.
