Not okay. Coming from someone who loves donut games, I could not even play this game. This is disgusting. Many people died in this tragedy and you made a game out of this? That's sickening. And for the people that say, "we need to forget about it and honor the dead", I totally agree with honoring the dead. But consider this, this was a horrible tradgedy, and now teenagers are playing these fun games about it. It puts this tradgedy on a lower level. Honestly, they couldve called it anything else, but why place it under a historic event? There is no need for this. Basically, our generation is messed up.

Another great game from Donut.. Great for a free game, totally fun. I would bet that most the people complaining about the concept of this game play some sort of war, or shooter based game. Millions more people have died by way of wars and guns, than died on the Titanic. Get of your high horse!

Well worth the dollar. It's a simple but addictive game. You can play for a few minutes or an hour. Either way it's cute and entertaining.

Alright. This app is alright. After a long way into a round, it gets pretty hard. Also, after playing several times, it becomes a little boring. Fun though. Worth the $.

IT. For the people that think it's racist it's not the colors are the class of people, in that time classes did not mix like they do now. It's a fun game but it needs to be slowed down a little to learn more of the ropes.

Donut Games!!!. This game is very fun, just wish that it wasn't constantly in endless mode, and you could play levels instead, like most of the other donut games.

OMG!!!!!. This is the first Donut game I’ve ever played and I love it! Mainly because I’m a history nerd and the story of the Titanic really fascinated me. So I would rate this game 11/10. Also I love the movie! 😄👍

Fun but can get really hard!. When I bought this I thought it would just be saving people but it was far from that.

It gets too hard too fast. The games don't last long enough. It goes from very easy to very difficult. Ken knows what I'm talking about! Tone it down a bit and let me play for a while before making it impossible.

Fun!!!!!!1. This is a very nice game. Some people say it was a bad setting and that day was devestating but, I don't think it is a mocking. I really recommend it. It's challenging too.

This is a fairly good game that is getting bad reviews from people that weren't even born when the titanic sank! Really people?. Great game! Does need a bit of work on the difficulty but other wise very fun. Really though rate the gameplay not the name it's really not fair to the developers. If you really want to cry about the name go start a blog about it somewhere else or better yet get a life because I'm pretty sure nine out of ten of us really don't care about your opinion of the event. Yes, I realize that it did happen & was a terrible thing & by all means my heart goes out to all those that were there that night, I to had an great great aunt that was on the boat who did make it back. But it's just a name in no way else does the game have any similarities to the real event. Have you ever heard of the Lusitania? It's worse.. I don't get why everyone is making a fuss about a cute game the Lusitania killed more people from a torpedo and I don't get why the titanic game is getting bad reviews! It's a good game and people know that natural disasters are different than games.

Wooww.... Once again I think the game in itself is a good game... But some people are saying that we should basically forget about the titanic because it happened a century ago. Really people? How heartless can you be? Should we forget about 9/11 since it has been almost a decade ago? Or should we forget about Pearl Harbor too since that happened in WWII? What has this world come to?

Coolio. Reminds me of the classic game and watch gallery game from the gameboy color. I love it, it gets hard super fast but that just means its easy to quickly get a high score.

Best game ever!!!! . This is the BEST game ever!!! It is so addicting I play this game everyday. It is so worth it and I didn't buy it for free I bought it for $0.99 this is the best game Donut games has come out with.

Name. First of all, the titanic did not crash. It sank. Second, people are dying everyday in Africa and around the world. Third, feeling bad for the people who died on the Titanic can't bring back the dead. Fourth, most of the people who survived the Titanic are dead. I don't think changing the name will change the world.

U guys have great games. This one needs a little more work. Moves kina fast w/o building the skills. How about an easier level?

It is just a game. Maybe it could be named something else besides Titanic because if you look at the cartoons in this App you will realize it is only a game. This is simply a fun cartoon game to play. This has nothing to do with the real thing. Of course the disaster was awful and so many people died but this has nothing to do with it. If this really reminds you of the real Titanic then I would delete it. Otherwise have fun! It is a fun game and is good for motor control.

So Wrong But Oh So Right. This game is tasteless and the game designers should be caned Singapore style for making light of a human tragedy that occured nearly a century ago. However... This game is hilarious and wickedly enjoyable! The pick up and play value is tremendous and the pace is maddening. The graphics are reasonable considering the price tag but otherwise it's a great game!

.... The controls aren't very good. Other than that, it's great. For all those people who think it's inappropriate: Why is it so bad? The Titanic happened almost a century ago, so it's best to get over it. Yes it's sad for all those people who died and experienced that horrific night, I know my friend's great-grandmother was on the Titanic, but it's the past. There is no use grieving about people who already died, all we can do is honor them. 

Oh, lighten up, people!. Rescuing people from the Titanic is at least more tasteful than feeding natives to volcanoes (Pocket God) or performing cheaply animated, graphic amateur surgery (Amateur Surgeon.) This really is a fun little game and score another nice app for Donut Games. Not too horribly fast paced and relatively mindless. Scores high in the fun time-waster category. I would recommend that you wait for one of Donut's free promotions (I got this one for free,) because I'm not sure it's worth a buck. Well worth it for free, though!

Name of game. Ok do you really honestly think the people who made this game purposely named it this Like REALLY. think about it it's an awesome game i love playing it. but the way the game is name is not to make fun of it and if you think it's disrespectful that your opinion but honeslty i don't think they named it the titanic rescue on purpose don't be stupid.

I like the Haiti rescue game idea. Every time u play u donate 5 bucks to haitian relief or depending on how many Haitians are rescued you donate a certain amount. It would be so controversial you would get free advertising on all the news shows. Dang I wish I could make games

Unique game. Could be a little better as the gentlemen bounce off the boat a lot, but for the most part pretty fun. It becomes a race to see how many you can fling and catch at once.

Graphics/review in all. Donut Games have always had the best cartoon graphics. (in my opinion) It's also very nice that you can play iPod music while enjoying the game. (which donut game games really don't usually have) However, unlike the rest of the donut games there really isn't levels, or goals you try to reach for. (besides going over your high score) I think that insted of just having it as 1 level, to have several. I can understand why it's free, but i've always enjoyed the entertainment and graphics of Donut Games. :D so yes it's worth it...

Hilarious, addicting game!. But one thing you should take caution on is how you just potentially ruined yourself. YOU HAVE TO LEAVE THE APP TO POST YOUR SCORE! While that's not much of an issue to me, other people might mark you down for it. Just sayin' :/ But otherwise, good game! 

Hilarious casual game.. This game is very well polished. Great simple graphics, funny voices, simple soundtrack, & great casual gameplay. The flicking mechanism is also very sharp, I have not had a problem with it whatsoever. All-in-all this is a great game & is worth every penny. Buy it & make the little gentlemen proud.

The name??. What's with the name guys!!! Common your naming a game for people to play and out of all the 50 reviews I read for it people said: what's with the name? What's next a 9/11 recuse? And another good one was: the name went too far... And I agree with ALL of the reviews. At least 90% at of the 50 review I read, had some thing about the name..... Need more like it. This is an awesome casual game you can pickup and play for 5 min here and there, and sometimes it can easily turn into 30 minutes. High production values on a very charming game!

Highly recommended! Addictive! :). Titanic Rescue for the iPhone and iPod Touch, apart from the flicking and sliding controls, resembles to a limited extent, a time management game to me. To get color bonuses, you have to match each gentleman to the color of the fellows in the lifeboats. The game isn't as easy as it looks - or maybe it's in part due to my lack of dexterity handling games on the multitouch iPod Touch, but it's certainly tons of fun. I almost shrieked when I missed yet another boat. Since I downloaded it from the store, I'd been playing it more than the other games on my iPod Touch. It's a steal for $0.99 :)

Rad to the max. So I think it's a pretty fun game and is certainly an addicting game as well. Helps pass the time and isn't so easy so you don't get bored quick. Donut games you rock. :)

Levels and touch sensitive. Great game but there should be levels and the controls should be more touch sensitive. The touch reaction is delayed which throws off the gameplay. Please fix in update. I was thinking about getting the donut game called gold miner Joe, is it any good?

Donut games delivers?. Pretty much every donut games game(lol) is fun and addictive and this was no exception but it would have been better to have a selection of levels and an arcade mode but nevertheless it is a fun 10 minute game

re: Don't buy.. The graphics are cute but the game is awful. I must disagree with those who gave this a favourable rating and say I hope it disappears soon. Truly, this game is a joke. It won't hold your attention for more than literally 30 seconds, nor does it offer a prolonged gaming experience. Even if your goal is for a quick time filler, this game (to me) doesn't even meet that criteria. To me, donut games wanted a quick buck. A waste of $1.19. Even if the game cost 19 cents, I still wouldn't find it acceptable. You need more than cute graphics to make something a winner. So, whom from Donut games is going to refund my money? I think the companies that release these games for iPods/iPads etc need to be aware that if people buy something from you once and it is of poor standard, they won't want to try anything else you have done based on experience. However, each of are different and I hope those of you whom decide to purchase this game aren't as dissapointed as I was.

Ocean Rescue or In Deep Water. Couldn't help but laugh at some of the antics and sounds of the characters. I found this game by searching for Donut Games, I don't think it would lose anything by removing Titanic from the name. The title of my review contains 2 alternate suggestions, as I did feel a touch guilty after reading the other reviewer's comment.

Very addictive!. I really like it! It's for gamers who have a bit of time to spend on the train or something. I love how it can play your music as well. The cute chipmunk voices are adorable and the graphics are great! It's not incredibly hard, so it doesn't make me want to stop playing. However, it is also challenging, with you able to get a decent score if you try.

Tops Game - price is right!!. I really like this game. The graphics are really funky and the controls work quite well. For free you can't go wrong. I prolly would even pay a dollar for it! Also to the earlier reviewers who found the concept offensive. I really think it's taking the game too seriously. I don't find it offensive at all.

The game doesn't fit my screen. This game is one quarter of my screen when I open the app. And the buttons do not work. I loved this game on my friends iPod, too bad when I bought it for my iPad mini, he app didn't work.

Wrong!!!...king huffle. I agree with Crosby 69. The premise of this game is to get as many points as possible. One way to do this in titanic rescue is to match people with the same color to the same boat. Now let's apply this to the real world. If there was a ship in distress they would first declare and immediate and formal mayday. They would then try to evacuate the boat. If we apply our skill from this game we could ensure a speedy evacuation by grouping people by certain colors. For example all people with green jackets should get into the green boat and so on. So in conclusion this game is layered in such a way that is plays on ur phyche planting seeds of good (no wait...great) rescue methods. King huffle you need to relax

No one complained when it didn't talk about their familes.this game is great and if you are really going to complain that much than grow up. Anyone offended by this game.... ...is a disingenuous liar. It's just a game. About a disaster a hundred years ago. All the survivors are dead. Nobody complained about that crappy movie made about it. No one should complain about this fun and wholly unrealistic game.

another great game from donut games!!. this game is sooo great i just got it today yet i cant stop playing it!!! graphics are great and the best part is ITS FREE!!!! buy it youll have tons of fun

Exceptionally Poor Taste. So in 80 years will we have games about the World Trade Center falling? Maybe we'll be flicking burning people out of the windows and onto a trampoline. This wasn't just a story, real people died and I cannot believe anyone thought it would be ok to turn such a tragic thing into a cartoonish game. It makes me sick. Deserves 0 stars

Good. Its a good game but you should be able to choose how many lives you want to have. You should also be able to play more modes.

Please make it multi touch. Can you please make it so the screen responds to two fingers so we can use the boat and save passengers at the same time. The miner game has multi touch. Add it to this one for 5 stars please. : )

next.. I think this game was rather crudely thought up, and devastatingly embarrassing. I didn't even want to add it to my itouch, but to write a review you must have it. A game as it is, it cannot hide the fact that Titanic was an utter disaster. This is making fun of it; including the people who drowned, the people who lived through it, and the people who had been affected by it. How someone could just do something so tactlessly is thoroughly disconcerting. Should have just slapped another name to the game, and called it a day. It would have been less offensive. Hmm, maybe I was too harsh?

Good great. I thought there was nothing wrong w/it and it is SO much fun but then those people were rite by saying the name should be changed. But the game is AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sinking fun. I like this game very much but I find that at time the lifeboats can not be controlled. If that was fixed I would give this a 5 star.

To short! Check out SOS TITANIC instead!. This game all you can really do is flick the passengers off the boat and after alittle while it gets old. Go check out the app SOS Titanic it is a lot more fun and it can be challenging there are leaderboards and gamecenter achievements it is one of my favorite games. Search SOS Titanic in the search bar instead of buying this app.... Thats my advice.

Gay. It's gay because you have little control of where you fling the passenger. This game would get... Idk 4 stars if you could "grab" the person and place them in a boat. So that's why I give it 1 star. I do agree with the mulit touch like other reviews, that would be much beter if it's a no on the drag and drop. Love Traffic Rush though! :)

Lusitaniarox. I like it but it could be alot better. Like have the ship actualy sink wile playing. The more people you miss the ship sinks faster. If u miss too many the ship breaks and sinks. This will get more people to buy no joke!!!

Donut = Triniti. So I've decided that like Triniti, Donut takes already established games, re-does them in their own art style, makes them less compelling, and sells them. Every title is so vanilla, that they all blur into each other.
